Elizabeth: Lucky, we are both terrified for Jake, but you're really grasping at straws here. I can't see a TV producer kidnapping a baby as a scheme to get higher ratings.

Lucky: What, you can't back me up on anything, can you?

Elizabeth: Okay, there we go.

Elizabeth: Okay, there we go. There we go, pumpkin.

[Jake fusses]

Elizabeth: Hey, Cam, you need help with that? Here, let me have your foot. There we go. How about when you get home, we practice tying our shoes? You want to do that? Sound like a good idea?

Sonny: Selling your house, running back to the city -- it's not going to change how you feel.

Kate: What I do with my country home is none of your business.

Sonny: Well, I'd just hate to see you take a loss, because I know how much you love the house, the whole thing.

Kate: From now on, I'll stick to the Hamptons.

Sonny: You walked into something that didn't concern you, you're upset. Don't make any big decisions until you calm down.

Kate: I have seen who you are, Sonny. It's time for me to leave.

Carly: I'm not going to spend five seconds in here with you. Help! Hello, I'm locked in the boiler room!

Jerry: Don't worry; I know the security and maintenance rotations of this hotel by heart.

Carly: We're in here! Hello!

Jerry: Don't worry, I'm telling you. In less than an hour, a second-tier engineer is going to make his rounds and be within shrieking distance. So let's spend this time together to get things straight.

[Knock on door]

Sam: Ahem.

Alexis: Hi.

Sam: Hi.

Alexis: All right, you sounded upset.

Sam: Thank you for coming over. I hope I didn't worry you. I just need some legal advice from my brilliant attorney, legal mother. Yes.

Alexis: If Amelia Joffe is trying to hold you to that absurd career by dragging up your past, that's not going --

Sam: No, no, no, this has absolutely nothing to do with Amelia for once, and thank you. Thank you for saying "my past," instead of bringing up and saying, maybe, "all those men that I bilked, and, of course, the one that I killed." That was very nice of you.

Alexis: You were exonerated, and that was self-defense.

Sam: Yeah, until I look at myself in the mirror, and I see all of the women that I pretended to be staring at me, and I -- I tell myself that I had reasons. I had to pay for Danny --

Alexis: I understand. Nobody knows more than I do --

Sam: And rent and a car and to cover for my father --

Alexis: It was an untenable situation, Sam.

Sam: That's really nice -- "an untenable situation." There were other ways I could've dealt with it. I -- I did not have to go to the extreme, but I did. Somehow I always do.

Alexis: I realize that my attempts to help you in the past have been disastrous, but I'm willing to give this another try. Have a seat. What happened, and what do you need?

Sam: Okay. This has -- um -- nothing to do with me personally, it's about a segment that we're doing on the show.

Alexis: Okay, what is the segment about?

Sam: Okay. If a person witnesses a crime and doesn't report it, is that person guilty of anything?

Jason: Whew. Okay, and you're sure you heard a baby crying?

Amelia: In the background on a couple of phone calls. But that doesn't necessarily mean that the baby I heard is Jake.

Jason: Well, there's a chance it could be.

Amelia: Okay, we -- we've crossed the county line. You have just officially jumped bail on the charge of first-degree murder, you're a fugitive.

Jason: What can I say? I'm used to it.

Amelia: Well, I'm -- I'm not. I'd prefer not to be arrested as an accomplice.

Jason: Okay, listen, if this Maureen Harper has Jake, she knows that you've heard him crying on the phone and she could be planning to run. That's why I hope that we get to him first.

Amelia: Maureen's baby girl died of smoke inhalation in a house fire. Maureen blames herself because she -- she got her 3-year-old son out first. When Sam did the interview with her, Maureen was -- she was wrecked after the taping, overwhelmed with grief and guilt. She left the studio looking like the walking wounded. A few hours later, Jake disappeared.

Jason: So -- well, she could've grabbed Jake on impulse, put him in the car, been halfway to Albany while the cops were still looking in the park.

Amelia: Look, all that I know for certain is that Maureen is refusing to sign the release for the interview, and both times I've called her house I heard a baby crying in the background. My gut tells me that baby is your son.

Robin: I don't want to waste any time, it's critical to plan ahead.

Patrick: I agree, so what do you got?

Robin: "Gioconda"? It's actually "La Gioconda," it's an opera. We can stay in the city, we can go visit museums.

Patrick: I was thinking maybe we could go to Atlanta for the stock car race instead.

Robin: Look how thrilled I am about that.

Epiphany: Let's see how thrilled you can get about doing your work. Heart patient -- Dr. Julian wants a neuro consult.

Noah: Has anybody seen the chart for Linda Moss, Dr. Julian's patient?

Patrick: Yeah, I got it right here, I'm consulting.

Noah: I believe Leo wanted Dr. Drake Sr. Thank you very much.

Patrick: Well, look at the complications -- they're my specialty.

Noah: Epiphany, which Dr. Drake does Julian want?

Epiphany: It's impossible.

Noah: What? The woman's been working too many hours.

Patrick: What was that all about?

Sonny: I don't want you to be upset. In the future, maybe it's -- it would be good if you called before you came to my office because -- I mean, that's just the way to do things. I mean, you don't just let people barge right into your office, do you?

Kate: If I did, they wouldn't find me threatening to cut someone's heart out. And there is no "in the future," Sonny. I can't sell this property quickly enough.

Sonny: You can't be surprised, though. I mean, you did your research, right, the work that I do?

Kate: I let myself be distracted by the boy that you once were, the cutest boy on the corner who never seemed to go home, who ran numbers for Joe Scully, but who had dinner with the Cerullos. That boy was a lot smarter than he let on, but he wasn't smart enough to choose a decent life.

Sonny: You saw your opportunity, I saw mine.

Kate: Huh.

Sonny: What?

Kate: It's odd how denial works. You know, I actually let myself believe that you were in the coffee business.

Sonny: I am in the coffee business.

Kate: And I told myself that any so-called mob associations had to do with tax evasion, racketeering, extortion, money laundering -- things like that. And the whole reputed crime boss, I thought, was more about posturing than anything else. But I never let myself consider the reality of what you actually do. There is no polite euphemism for killing people. I refuse to live anywhere near it.

Sonny: I don't blame you.

Kate: I'm sorry, Sonny.

Sonny: No --

Kate: I'm sorry if something I did or didn't do made you to be this, do -- I'm sorry.

Sonny: Connie? There's nothing to apologize for.

Jerry: Your Michael Corinthos Jr. had me "brought in," shall we say, this afternoon -- he actually threatened to cut my heart out.

Carly: That's a waste of time, you don't have one.

Jerry: Oh.

Carly: I already know all about Kate Howard. She told me.

Jerry: Really?

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Jerry: I thought Ms. Howard was going to call the police. It never occurred to me that she would call you.

Carly: For some reason, she thought I'd care that Jax's brother was in danger. She doesn't know that you're a psychopath.

Jerry: Oh, really?

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Jerry: See, a true psychopath can't control himself. He would kill you just for the thrill of it, without a second thought. Or he'd find an inventive way to watch you die slowly for his own enjoyment. And given our close quarters, let's just hope that I'm saner than you give me credit for. -

[Cabinet door creaking]

[Shaking cereal]

Carly: I'm not afraid of you. You're trying to scare me; it's not going to work.

Jerry: It's a bit of a rush, I'll admit, watching you fight back your fear with sheer determination. You know, that fire in your eyes, that passion -- it's very becoming. I have to admit I was quite titillated when you let loose on me during the robbery.

Carly: "Robbery"? You mean when you tortured 15 people for hours and blew up my lobby?

Jerry: Well, you have your perspective of the incident, I have mine.

Carly: No amount of perspective can change the hell we went through.

Jerry: Oh, come on, you're an intelligent woman. You're capable of seeing things from more than one angle. So why -- why can't you understand that things could've gone far, far worse?

Carly: Why don't you save it for your brother?

Jerry: Well, actually, Jax understands that what happened in the lobby was relatively tame. He knows what a true psychopath could've done.

Carly: So do you want me to [missing]

Jerry: No, I want you to get over it.

Robin: Epiphany? Forgive me for asking, but what was that about with Noah earlier? You were looking at him like he had two heads.

Epiphany: Well, maybe he does.

Doctor: Hey, Epiphany, did you give that file to Dr. Drake?

Epiphany: You said to give it to Dr. Drake, so I gave it to Dr. Drake, and now the other Dr. Drake has a problem.

Doctor: So which Dr. Drake has the file?

Patrick: I do. You meant Patrick Drake, right?

Doctor: Yes, yeah. Sorry for the confusion.

Noah: Dr. Julian? Do you have some reason why my medical opinion isn't good enough?

Dr. Julian: I hadn't realized.

Noah: What, that I'm a fully qualified neurosurgeon?

Dr. Julian: It's really uncanny.

Noah: All right, now I'm starting to feel insulted.

Dr. Julian: Uh -- I'm sorry, Doctor. I had -- I had originally asked Patrick Drake to do the consult. But if you feel better qualified, I --

Patrick: He's not.

Dr. Julian: Oh. Ahem. I'll leave you two to work it out.

Alexis: You're talking about a very gray area of the law. There's a very fine line between an accomplice and a bystander.

Sam: Okay, let's just say that there's a crime in progress and the person is just -- there.

Alexis: Watching?

Sam: Yeah.

Alexis: Speaking hypothetically, if someone sees something and they -- it affects the outcome of the crime, yes, they're accountable.

Sam: Even if the person's just there watching, seeing it, and doesn't report it? I -- I mean, are they guilty of anything "under the law"?

Alexis: It depends on what they saw. This isn't about the show at all, is it? This is about Jason. Okay, what crime did you see Jason commit?

Amelia: Maureen knows me, I'll do the talking. If -- if we're mistaken, I don't want to add to her grief, okay?

Maureen: I'll be right there. What -- what do you want? And who is he? I -- I have takeout coming.

Amelia: Look, we apologize for the intrusion. We just want to discuss the release.

Maureen: I told you -- I can't do it. Why did you bring him?

Amelia: He's attached to the show.

Maureen: You're trying to scare me, aren't you?

Amelia: No, no, not at all.

Maureen: I can't let you put that interview on TV.

Amelia: Look, you've already done the hardest part. We just need your permission to show --

Maureen: I said no. The whole thing was a mistake. You have to leave now.

[Baby cries]

Amelia: Um -- that sounds like a baby.

Maureen: My son probably turned on the TV. I have to go see what he's watching.

Jason: No, no, no, no, that's not a television. Where is Jake?

Lucky: I'll be at the station.

Elizabeth: Don't worry if I'm not here when you call, I'll be picking up Cameron.

Lucky: I thought we agreed not to bring Cameron home until we found Jake.

Elizabeth: Well, he's homesick, and it's not fair to make him wait any longer, and I don't know how long it's going to be until we know something.

Lucky: You're giving up, aren't you? Okay, you know what? Great. You do what you want. I'm not going to stop looking for my son.

[Door opens and slams]

[Baby cries]

Maureen: Get out! You have no right to do this! I'm calling the police!

Jason: No, you aren't, because the baby isn't yours. You stole him from a stroller in the park in Port Charles. The baby you took has an older brother, a mother, and a father, and you know better than anyone what they're going through right now.

Maureen: He -- he's upstairs in the crib in the master bedroom. My little girl was so tiny! She needed her mother, and -- and the house was on fire! I -- I had to get my son out.

[Crying stops]

Maureen: I -- I thought my daughter would be okay until -- and there -- there was no fire in her room. I -- I thought I had enough time to save her.

Jason: You -- you did the best you could.

Maureen: It wasn't enough. He -- he's a beautiful baby. I -- I knew his name was Jake from the little hat. "Jake." I -- I didn't hurt him. I -- I didn't mean for this to happen. I -- I saw him in the park, and I just wanted another chance to be a better mother.

Amelia: He seems fine.

Jason: Hey, buddy. Hi. You're okay now. I'm here. Do you remember when I promised that I would never let anything bad ever happen to you?

Maureen: You're his father, aren't you?

Alexis: Sam, if you know anything about Jason killing Alcazar, you had better tell me right now.

Sam: No, listen -- listen to me! No! Jason always protects me from the business. I don't ask questions, I don't get to have expectations -- that's how Jason lives, and at one point I loved him for that.

Alexis: You have a career right now. You're good at what you do, you're making your own money. Maybe you can be a little more realistic about Jason --

Sam: I told you I don't know anything about Jason killing Lorenzo Alcazar. And you know what? I wouldn't put it past Ric to set him up, he's done it before.

Alexis: No, we're not getting off the subject right now. You said you witnessed a crime; I want to know what it was.

Sam: I told you. I told you, I'm doing research for the show. Just background -- that's what I need.

Alexis: Isn't Amelia supposed to be supervising the research for the show?

Sam: Yes, but, look, I don't trust her -- for obvious reasons. Amelia and I -- we get along, we compromise because we have to, because we work together. The only thing she cares about is ratings, and if her ratings go up --

Alexis: I can't help you unless you tell me what's going on. I understand that the two of us have issues, but you're going to have to trust somebody, so it might as well be your mother.

Sonny: Kate Howard is selling her house. Yeah, the one right next to mine. Do me a favor -- make her an offer --

Kate: That I can't refuse?

Sonny: I'll -- I'll get right back to you.

Kate: So do you have any ideas what you're going to do with my property? Perhaps bulldoze the whole thing and cover it with cement, make it a skate park for your rambunctious children.

Sonny: What does it matter what I do, since you're going to be gone?

Kate: You have a point.

Sonny: Unless you've changed your mind on selling?

Kate: I realize that I'm a witness, of sorts, and I thought that I should let you know I have no intention of telling anyone -- specifically, the authorities -- about what I saw this afternoon.

Sonny: You don't have to protect me. But I appreciate the impulse to try.

Carly: "In and out in five minutes" -- I remember. But that's bull. You knew you were going to take hostages, or you wouldn't have brought the extra gunmen or the explosives.

Jerry: Well, I have to be prepared for any eventuality. I mean, I didn't want the hostages -- and least of all, 15 whining hostages. I mean, the most efficient thing would've been for me to kill most of you, keep two hostages as bargaining chips to guarantee my escape with the briefcase.

Carly: Right, you shot Robin to keep us occupied. See, that's what Jax says -- all those excuses he keeps making for you.

Jerry: Well, keeping Robin alive kept everyone's focus, you see, kept them from being unruly and brave.

Carly: You shot Robin to watch her suffer, and we had to beg you to help her, and you enjoyed every second of it.

Jerry: It was strategy, no more.

Carly: Was killing Alan Quartermaine a part of your strategy?

Jerry: Oh, I'm not going to take responsibility for an old man's heart condition. I released him.

Carly: You forced his daughter to choose between him and her best friend, I was there.

Jerry: Oh, come on, Elizabeth had cramps. That's hardly a life-threatening situation -- you should know that.

Carly: Alan Quartermaine is dead because of you. That’s what I know.

Jerry: If I wanted to kill a hostage, I would've killed your darling Michael Corinthos Jr. He was the most serious threat.

Carly: You kept Sonny alive because he was your best way of escaping.

Jerry: Whatever my motives, he survived, so did you, which makes your endless complaining both annoying and unwarranted.

Carly: So I should thank you for a pleasant hostage situation, is that it? Get off me!

Sonny: Maybe I misunderstood. You're -- you're not afraid that I would try to get rid of you or shut you up? I -- I would never do anything like that. As a matter of fact, I would not cross that line.

Kate: I know --

Sonny: You got to know that.

Kate: No, I know. I'm not here for me. Well, I mean -- well, maybe I am. I guess the word is "closure." I prefer not to leave without knowing if you turned out this way because I never showed up that night. I mean, back then, you were the mean-streets Bensonhurst boy with a bad reputation and the killer smile. But today he was lethal, he was emotionless, beyond cold, and I would hate to think that I had something to do with that transformation. Did I?

Sonny: I was sorry to lose you. I mean, you know, I -- I got carried away dreaming about, like, what our life might've been. But, you know, by then, I got in too deep. I dropped out of school; I was making a lot of money -- more money than anybody I knew.

Kate: But, see, you're not -- you're not answering my question.

Sonny: Well, what do you want me to say?

Kate: Did I have something to do with this?

Sonny: Okay, our life would've -- you know, would've been different if you and I had run off away together, but there's no point in looking back, because you know what? It's not going to change anything. And if what I do -- you know, if that misled you in any way -- I wasn't trying to hide who I was or what I did.

Kate: No, but you weren't exactly being forthcoming, were you?

Sonny: No, no, but the business -- look, as far as my business and everything, it had nothing to do with getting to know you again. I just -- you know, I wanted to see how you were and laugh a little bit, see that Connie smile with the beautiful teeth and the whole thing.

Kate: Okay, it's strange how you can make me laugh.

Sonny: You're not laughing.

Kate: Hmm.

Sonny: Anyway, look -- um -- I'm proud of you. I'm proud of what -- you know, what you've done with your life, and -- I mean, I miss Connie Falconeri, of course, because -- but Kate Howard's not so bad. You know, she's strong and she's classy and -- I'm just -- I'm just glad that you've -- you've done okay with yourself.

Kate: See, how can that be? How can a sweet and charming man turn into the thug that I saw threatening an innocent man like Jerry Jacks?

Sonny: There is nothing innocent about Jerry Jacks.

Jerry: Let go -- let go! You never give up, do you? As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, murder was not my intention -- not in the Metro Court, not now. So do you want to pick up that wrench now?

Carly: Why, so you can take it away from me again? Why bother? You won't kill me. You would lose Jax forever, and I don't think you'd risk that.

Jerry: Oh, and can the same be said about you, once you get past your fear of abandonment? Are you willing to lose Jax forever, or are you just going to turn around and go back to Michael Corinthos Jr.?

Carly: I'm not going to talk to you about Sonny or Jax, and I don't want to talk to you about that night again. I was there.

Jerry: My life depended on getting that briefcase out of the vault. I was supposed to keep everyone under control and afraid to minimize the damage!

Carly: I was there. You were there to hurt people, you enjoyed it, and you were good at it.

Jerry: And one should hope so, because I was imprisoned and tortured for a great deal longer than one night in a first-rate hotel! I knew how far to go and when to stop before anyone broke -- as I did.

Dr. Julian: Ahem. Hey.

Robin: Hey.

Dr. Julian: Um -- I hope I didn't make things awkward for Patrick and his father with that consult. I just assumed it would be clear that I meant Patrick.

Robin: They are a picnic compared to how they used to be, believe me. What was your reaction to Noah?

Dr. Julian: Does he have any brothers?

Robin: Uh, not that I know of. Why?

Dr. Julian: It's just so weird, the whole thing, but --

[Pager beeps]

Dr. Julian: Sorry, I got to take this, so I'll --

Patrick: Where's the fire? I had a question about this patient.

Robin: Does your dad have any brothers?

Patrick: Uh -- no. Both my parents are single children. I think that's why they bonded to each other --

Robin: Hmm.

Patrick: Why my dad was so lost when she died. Why?

Robin: We're both only-children.

Patrick: Robin? We're not going to end up like our parents.

Robin: Wait a minute, why would I not want to end up like my mother? She is the smartest, bravest, most beautiful woman -- you have to admit -- that I've ever met.

Patrick: I know, I -- I remind you of your father, but that's a whole other fight.

Robin: You remind me of your father, too, sometimes.

Patrick: That's really not very nice, you know.

Robin: It's true.

Patrick: That's the last person I want to end up like. There's already one of him in the world, that's enough.

Noah: I want to make sure your people are all in line about the change of meds in the brain trauma case in 17. Epiphany?

Epiphany: Um -- did -- did you want something?

Noah: Robin, Patrick, come over here, will you? Why are you doing this?

Patrick: Come when you called? That's actually a great question.

Robin: Noah, what do you need?

Noah: People around the hospital are starting to stare at me. What are you saying to them?

Patrick: What?

Sam: Don't worry, okay? I am not in any legal trouble. In fact -- okay, you're right. I should be happy with my life. I mean, I'm making great money, finally. I -- I have more money than I know what I can deal with.

Alexis: The more you dodge my question the more worried that I get. You're drinking, so, obviously, you have a problem. Why don't you just tell me what's going on?

Sam: It's about Jason, and it's not what you think. It's about our relationship, our life together -- and I know you hate that.

Alexis: Your relationship with Jason I have long since realized is not my call to make.

Sam: I didn't think I was capable of loving somebody as much as I loved Jason, and that scares me because I will do absolutely anything to hold on to him, and that was my mistake.

Alexis: What did you do?

Sam: I tried too hard to hold on! And now it's just slipping away, everything.

Alexis: You mean Jason?

Sam: Yes! But part of me doesn't even want to hold on, because why would I want to hold on to Jason when it makes me into somebody I don't want to be?

Maureen: Have -- have you called the police yet? I -- I don't know who's going to take care of Eric when they arrest me. He -- he's only 3. I -- I don't want them to take him to some -- um -- where do they take little children whose mothers get arrested?

Jason: Okay, nobody's calling the police.

Amelia: You need help -- childcare, counseling.

[Jake fusses]

Maureen: I stole a child. You must've been terrified.

Jason: It's okay, it's over now. It's okay.

Maureen: Who -- who are you calling?

Amelia: I'm getting you help.

Maureen: Please tell his mother how sorry I am. I -- I don't know how I could do this -- how I could make another person go through the loss of a child, even for a few days! Oh --

Jason: There you go. All Jake's mom wants is for Jake to be home safe.

Maureen: Tell Sam she did the right thing.

Jason: What do -- what do you mean, Sam?

Maureen: Isn't that how you found me? When -- when I took Jake, I looked up for a second, and there was Sam, watching. I thought I'd be caught, but I -- I just kept walking. I kept expecting her to yell for help or try to stop me.

[Jake fusses]

Jason: It's okay. Are you sure it was Sam?

Maureen: I just assumed that's how you knew I had Jake -- that Sam had second thoughts and told you she saw me take him.

Sonny: Last February at the Metro Court, he and his team of mercenaries -- he took 15 people hostage. I was one of them, Carly was another. He shot two people -- Robin, who has H.I.V. -- and another hostage had a heart attack trying to get out, and what does -- what does Jerry do? He blows up the lobby.

Kate: I thought he was joking about resembling a homicidal --

Sonny: No, no, no, no, no, it was Jerry. He -- he disappeared right after the explosion, then he resurfaced in May and he claimed he had mistaken identity, that he and the person who blew up the Metro Court had the same plastic surgery.

Kate: Well, there's no way that's true.

Sonny: No, not at all.

Kate: Well, then why hasn't he been arrested?

Sonny: Because the police don't have enough evidence to put him in the Metro Court. And the hostages don't want to I.D. someone who implicated an innocent woman in a crime of treason. If anything happens to Mr. Jerry Jacks, she goes to prison.

Kate: Okay, so what I saw this afternoon -- you were making threats. You wouldn't actually kill him, right?

Sonny: In a heartbeat.

Jerry: You know what? Most Americans live insulated lives of fast food and freedom. They -- they feel entitled. They're soft, overprivileged, and they have no idea what really goes on in the rest of the world but I've seen it up close -- way too close.

Carly: Whose fault's that?

Jerry: I may have been a little rough with Emily Quartermaine, and there's an argument to be made that -- that, you know, I could've released Alan Quartermaine a little sooner, yes.

Carly: What about Lulu? How do you justify putting a gun to the head of a teenage girl?

Jerry: All right, I made some unpopular choices that night at Metro Court, but, believe me, it could've been far worse.

Carly: Here's a thought -- you didn't have to do any of it at all. You chose to do it -- for money. So all your excuses -- you know, all the torture you went through in watching your girlfriend Irina die -- if that even happened at all -- it doesn't change the fact that everything you did that night, all of the pain that you caused -- you did it to turn a profit. So don't ever expect me to feel sorry for you.

Jerry: The last thing I want from you or anyone else's pity.

Elizabeth: Oh, baby, I really missed you. And I know you were hoping that your brother would be here, right? But your daddy and the policemen -- they're still looking for him. And they're going to find him. So don't worry, okay? Jake's going to come home soon, all right?

Cameron: Okay.

Elizabeth: Okay.

Amelia: Do you realize how compromising this is? I mean, not only did you jump bail, but we have a -- a kidnapped baby in the back seat. If we get stopped, I could just see my career circling down the drain.

Jason: Just keep to the speed limit, okay?

Amelia: So, uh, what's the plan when we get to Port Charles?

Jason: I'm going to take Jake to his mother.

Amelia: Do you want to try calling her again?

Jason: She isn't picking up.

Amelia: Elizabeth and Lucky are going to be thrilled to get Jake back. But, God, what about Sam? She watched as Maureen walked away with your son and did nothing. Can you forgive Sam for that?

Patrick: X-rays indicate that the tumor's causing problems on the left side of the brain. Too bad it wasn't a woman; we would've found it sooner.

Robin: Well, that's possible.

Patrick: Well, I'm just saying that guys hang out on the left side of the brain -- the nonverbal, spatial activity. Women are right side of the brain -- intuition --

Robin: Okay, yeah, but --

Patrick: Emotion.

Robin: That's not to say that women can't have excellent left-brain attributes.

Patrick: Well, there are exceptions, but it's no wonder that little boys tend to explore and -- and take control of their space, while little girls are content to just kind of --

Robin: What?

Patrick: Don't look at me that way, I'm talking science here. Okay, then what about how guys will just drive around in circles and never ask for directions? That's -- that's -- we're going to the opera, aren't we?

Robin: Let me see if I can find that ad.

Patrick: Hey, Dr. Julian? Hey, I got a question about that heart consult.

Dr. Julian: Yeah, I was going to ask you -- um -- Robin said you -- your father doesn't have any brothers. What about cousins? Just --

Patrick: Why do you ask?

Noah: Okay, enough, all right? Someone -- you, or somebody -- has been spreading a rumor about me around this hospital.

Robin: People are still staring?

Noah: A duty nurse walked into a meal cart, looking at me like I had two heads. So what's going on?

Epiphany: You don't follow 1980s music?

Noah: What has that got to do with it?

Dr. Julian: Oh, everything.

Epiphany: Eli Love is coming to town, and you two could be twins.

Kate: I don't mean to dispute anything that you just said, but when I met Jerry, he was very friendly, sophisticated, nice.

Sonny: Jerry knows how to say the right things; he knows how to present himself in a certain way. But I'm telling you right now, he is brutal, and he is a killer.

Kate: Same could be said about Sonny Corinthos.

Sonny: Many people do.

Kate: Yeah?

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Kate: Here in your compound, surrounded by your guards -- you know how to present yourself in a certain way. You wear a mask, mostly to cover the pain and frighten off people who might hurt you. But I can still see him. I can still see that Bensonhurst boy, with the dimples who can still get to me.

Sonny: What's going on?

Man: I apologize for interrupting. But Leticia -- she says Jerry Jacks showed up at Carly's house today, and now Carly's disappeared.

[Woman struggles]

Irina: I don't know this guy! Why am I here?

Man: She no longer matters.

Jerry: Irina! Oh –

[Knock on door]

Sam: Ahem. Will you go away?

Amelia: Take it easy, Sam. I have some good news for a change. Baby Jake Spencer's been found.

Elizabeth: "As she puffed down the mountain, the little blue engine seemed to say, 'I thought I could, I thought I could, I thought I could, I thought I could.'"

Jason: You're home. You're home, son.

Elizabeth: Oh -- oh, my God, Jake.

Jason: He's okay.

Elizabeth: Oh, Jake, oh, Jake.

Jason: Come on, you want to see your little brother? Oh, look at that.

[Jake fusses]

Elizabeth: Oh, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I knew you would find him. You're okay, you're okay.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Patrick: You only want to go to this concert because the guy supposedly looks like my father.

Robin: This guy could be Noah.

Sam: You found him?

Amelia: Jason found Jake, and you are about to get what you deserve.

Elizabeth: You just gave me the greatest gift imaginable.
