Sonny: What's wrong, Connie? You kind of look like you got wet a little bit there.
Kate: For the last time, it is Kate. And I do not appreciate you turning on the sprinklers the moment I step foot on your lawn.
Sonny: You know, as much as I enjoy seeing you a little wet, I'm still a gentleman. So why don't you just come inside and let me help you dry off?
Carly: The police have James Craig’s D.N.A. When they match that to your brother's, it's going to come out that they're the same person. Are you willing to get up on the stand and lie, under oath, just to protect your brother?
Jax: If I can convince Jerry to leave town, there won't be a trial, okay? There's not going to be a trial.
Carly: That is not your brother anymore. When he changed his face and his name to James Craig, he became the kind of person that would shoot someone and terrorize someone. I am sorry. Your brother doesn't give a damn about anyone, and he doesn't give a damn about you, so are you willing to go to prison to finally believe that?
Coop: Relax, it's me.
Jerry: We have a problem. If I don't find the blood sample from the Metro Court and destroy it, the police will find out I'm James Craig, and that would be very unfortunate for both of us.
Ric: Do you know more about Alcazar's murder than you're saying?
Skye: If I did, do you think I'd honestly tell you?
Ric: Skye, look, I realize that you don't trust me. But then again, who else have you got? Alcazar's dead, the have turned their backs on you. If you do know more than you're saying about Jason's involvement in Alcazar's murder, then I am the only one who is left to protect you.
Skye: I think I'll take my chances.
Ric: Think about your daughter. Huh? What do you think is going to happen to Lila Rae once Sonny and Jason decide that you -- you know too much? If you want to take a chance on something, Skye, take a chance on my self-interest. You help me get what I want, and I will help you stay alive.
Lucky: Jason Morgan, you're under arrest for the murder of Lorenzo Alcazar.
Elizabeth: No, there's got to be a mistake.
Lucky: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Elizabeth: Lucky, stop.
Lucky: You have the right to an attorney.
Elizabeth: You can't do this.
Sonny: Here you go.
Kate: Well, you might as well be offering me a Band-Aid for open-heart surgery.
Sonny: Well, there are more towels in the guest room at the end of the hall -- big, fluffy ones. They're laid out right next to the tub.
Kate: I am not taking a bath in your house.
Sonny: No? Well, last time I checked, the contractor hadn't fixed the plumbing, so I'm just trying to help you out.
Kate: Well, I don't want your help. In fact, I want nothing to do with you.
Sonny: Is that why you crossed over the sprinkler system to come over here?
Kate: No -- to bring you this.
Sonny: And what -- what did this used to be?
Kate: The insurance appraisal for my centaur statue, which you will pay back in full.
Sonny: I'm actually looking for a replacement statue as we speak -- my decorator's doing that.
Kate: Oh. Well, that's reassuring.
Sonny: Oh, you don't -- you don't like my taste?
Kate: This was not some bargain-basement figurine. It was a one-of-a-kind piece imported from Italy.
Sonny: Oh, I didn't know that at the time.
Kate: It wouldn't have mattered. You willfully shot it down just to spite me.
Det. Rodriguez: Mr. Corinthos, we need to ask a few questions.
Kate: Oh. Well, it's about time. Arrest that man -- he assassinated my centaur.
Carly: One of the things I love about you is that you manage to find the best in people, and you do that with me, and I know that's what you're trying to do with your brother.
Carly: You want to believe somewhere deep down, the guy that you grew up with is still there. The guy that you had fights with about who was the strongest or the fastest or who was dating the prettiest girl in town.
Jax: Well, I think I won that one hands down, didn't I?
Carly: Jax, your brother is only out for himself, and given a choice between your life or his, your loving brother will choose self-preservation any day of the week.
Jax: Look, Carly, I understand why you feel that way after --
Carly: No, you don’t.
Jax: What Jerry put you through.
Carly: No, you don’t. It has nothing to do with me.
Jax: Then what?
Carly: It has to do about a woman named Irina.
Jax: Who's that? Why would you know about -- why would you know about that?
Carly: Because I ran into Jerry in the park yesterday.
Jax: You ran into Jerry, after I told you to stay away from him?
Carly: Do you want to hear this?
Jax: I told you to stay --
Carly: Please, I don't know why I stood there and listened to d to say. Maybe I was doing it for you. But he stood there and he told me about this relationship that he had with a woman named Irina and how he met her, how he fell in love with her, and how he sold her out to save himself. He betrayed her, Jax, and sooner or later, he will betray you.
Jerry: The clock is ticking, Three. Now, in one minute a lab technician is going to come into this room and find you in a restricted area. If you stupidly took the sample to use it as leverage against me, you will dearly regret it.
Coop: The only thing I stole was the card key to get you in here. I have no idea where your sample is or if the police have even finished testing it.
Jerry: Then what's the bloody use of keeping you around?
Coop: If you shoot me, you'll never make it out of here alive.
Jerry: You want to put that theory to the test?
Coop: The minute you pull that trigger, there'll be a dozen cops outside that door. Why take that chance when you can still walk out of here a free man?
Jerry: You're quite comfortable playing a straight-laced police cadet, aren't you? Of course, the transition from citizen was made all the more easier because nobody saw your face during the hostage crisis -- nobody, that is, except fiery little Maxie. You better be nice to her from now on. Really, I'm telling you, because she might run and tell her police commissioner daddy who you really are.
Coop: Maxie wouldn't do that to me.
Jerry: You are so young -- lovers turn. At lest with me, you know where you stand. But remember, if I pay for my sins at Metro Court, so will you.
Ric: You were the only one with access to Alcazar's personal effects -- accounts, safe-deposit boxes. He had in his possession a flash drive that ties me to various illegal activities, so the only way I can get it back is if you stay alive. Look, Skye, Jason's probably going to go to prison for Alcazar's murder anyway without even saying a word. If nothing else, he knows how to avoid self-incrimination. Sonny on the other hand -- he might not want to take a chance with you.
Skye: I need reassurances, Ric, not theories.
Ric: Look, once I prove that Alcazar is indeed dead, you are going to be in control of his estate. I will do everything that I can to protect you and your daughter until Jason goes to prison, and then you can reward me with that flash drive on the back end for my loyalty.
Skye: Don't you mean "if" Jason goes to prison?
Ric: The one thing that Alcazar did for both of us before he died was leave very clear evidence that Jason is his killer.
Elizabeth: How can you arrest Jason after everything he's done for us?
Jason: Elizabeth, it's okay.
Elizabeth: Jake wouldn't even be here right now if it weren't for him, neither would I. Why are you the one doing this?
Lucky: Listen, I have orders, Elizabeth. Jason is a suspect, and it's my job to take him downtown.
Logan: Mr. Morgan, is there anything I can do?
Jason: Yeah, can you call you Sonny or call Sonny's lawyer? The number's in the office.
Logan: Right. I'll take care of it.
Elizabeth: Just -- just give him a chance to turn himself in.
Jason: I'm going to be fine. It's -- it's going to be fine.
Lucky: Elizabeth, take Jake home. All right, there's no reason for you to stand around here and watch this. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you at the time of interrogation and in court.
Lulu: Thanks for coming.
Spinelli: Oh, the Jackal is always at your service, fair Lulu, whether it be for something cyber-related -- or something more romantic, perhaps?
Lulu: Actually, that's -- that's what I wanted to talk with you about.
Spinelli: Is the Blond One finally ready to -- to set our date?
Lulu: There's not going to be a date -- with you or Milo. I know that I -- I promised, but I just -- I can't go through with it.
Spinelli: The almost incestuous one has captured your heart, hasn't he?
Lulu: No, I'm not going to fall in love with Dillon or anybody else.
Maxie: Could you please explain to me what that hour of torture was supposed to accomplish?
Georgie: Yoga is good for you.
Maxie: So are brussels sprouts.
Georgie: Yeah, you should probably eat those, too.
Maxie: Georgie, I love you, I really do, and I'm trying very hard to stick to my resolution of not being mean to you anymore, but when you drag me to yoga at 6:00 in the morning --
Maxie: Excuse me?
Georgie: It was 10:00 this morning. And, you know, it probably felt like 6:00 because you were up all night waiting for Coop.
Maxie: Actually, I get most of my napping done waiting for Coop to get back to his room. It's when he actually does come back that I start losing sleep. I mean, last night we --
Georgie: Maxie, please, no details.
Maxie: For your information, we talked -- mostly. I mean, we did have sex. I happen to really enjoy having sex with him.
Georgie: Maxie --
Maxie: Georgie, what is so wrong about enjoying sex?
Georgie: Absolutely nothing. I just -- I just believe in a relationship, you should also have some kind of emotional connection.
Maxie: I agree.
Georgie: So you have this with a guy that you didn't even know five months ago?
Maxie: Why is that so hard for you to believe?
Georgie: Listen, Coop seems great, and Mac says that, you know, he's the best cadet the academy's seen in years. Of course, Mac doesn't know that you're sneaking up to his room every night and sleeping with him and lying --
Maxie: You want Coop to go pay his respects to Mac and ask for permission to sleep with me? I love Mac -- he is just like you, he never gives up on me -- but he can be really unfair when it comes to our personal lives. Hello? You and Dillon? I mean, he completely freaked out every time anyone would imply you guys were sleeping together.
Georgie: Maxie, this isn't about me and Dillon -- we're broken up, remember?
Maxie: To Mac’s great relief. He never liked how serious you were about Dillon, and he's going to hate how serious I am about Coop, and I don't want to fight with him anymore!
Georgie: Listen -- I've already promised to cover for you. But in the meantime, while I'm doing that, can you find something a little more productive to do with your life other than waiting around for Coop? When are you going to start living for yourself?
Maxie: Are you saying I'm not selfish enough?
Reporter: Mr. Morgan, did Sonny Corinthos order you to kill Lorenzo Alcazar?
Second reporter: Where'd you hide the body?
Lucky: Everybody back up.
Ric: Okay, you heard Detective Spencer. Okay, give him some room, please.
Reporter: D.A. Lansing, is Jason Morgan being held as a person of interest or are you charging him with murder?
Ric: Look, I realize that you all have questions concerning Lorenzo Alcazar's disappearance. So does this office, which is why I'm choosing not to comment at this time. But for the record, Jason Morgan is being held on a charge of murder.
Reporter: So did they find Lorenzo Alcazar's body?
Ric: I will be filing a formal statement this afternoon. Thank you. Well, congratulations, Detective Spencer, on bringing Jason Morgan in on a charge he's not going to be able to walk away from.
Lucky: It was a very straightforward arrest. Jason made no effort to resist.
Ric: Oh. Wise choice. Okay, Lucky, I'll take it from here.
Ric: You know, I'm not going to waste my breath trying to question you about Lorenzo Alcazar's death because I know you killed him. I got proof. Oh, no comment? Gee, I'm not surprised. You know, I know how you think, Jason. You figure that in a couple hours, your high-priced attorney is going to come in here and be able to get you out. Well, guess what -- not this time. You're going to be tried and convicted on murder one. You fired your last shot for my brother.
Kate: Yes, that's Howard -- h-o-w-a-r-D. Clearly, you're not a subscriber to "Couture" magazine, but perhaps your wife or girlfriend -- never mind.
Det. Rodriguez: So let me get this straight. You're saying you saw a half-horse, half-human flying thing over your house, and Mr. Corinthos shot it out of the sky?
Kate: Okay, no, no. It was a statue of a centaur. I was having it flown onto my new patio -- and, technically, I was in a violation of an injunction. But that does not give him the right to shoot the cable and have it plummet through my roof.
Det. Rodriguez: Ma'am, there's no way someone could've made a shot like that.
Kate: Okay, then how else do you explain an expensive piece of art just now in pieces in my foyer?
Det. Rodriguez: Maybe the cable snapped.
Kate: That's it? Oh -- so, why do you even bother coming down here if you're just going to make excuses for him?
Det. Rodriguez: Mr. Corinthos is being questioned in conspiracy to commit murder.
Kate: That's absurd.
Det. Rodriguez: What are you saying? You saying you can provide an alibi on the day Lorenzo Alcazar disappeared?
Sonny: Okay, you know what? Ms. Howard's not saying anything until she has a lawyer.
Det. Rodriguez: No problem. I think the D.A. is going to want to speak to Ms. Howard. Why don't you show her to her car?
Officer: Get your shoes, let's go.
Kate: How dare you! Oh!
Det. Rodriguez: Ms. Howard, you just assaulted a police officer. You're under arrest.
Carly: Jerry and this woman, Irina, were hired to do a job. They posed as newlyweds. Jerry got caught, and he was put in prison. He gave up Irina to get out. Before they let him go, he had to watch while Irina was shot to death.
Jax: Oh, my God.
Carly: You know what Jerry told me he felt when all this went down? He said he felt relief. Wow -- relief. Relief that Irina was the one shot in the head instead of him. Now, does that sound like a man who's going to put you first? I don't think so.
Jax: Jerry probably made the whole thing up to scare you.
Carly: What? Even -- not even real.
Jerry: Oh, she's real. She was very beautiful. She loved me completely, you know, and I loved her, too. And it seems that I loved my life more, so I sold her out to stay alive. And I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
Spinelli: If I may point out one small snag in your plan? Yes, you can vow to never fall in love with anyone, but that won't stop others from falling in love with you.
Lulu: Okay, okay, you're not getting it. I -- I don't want anybody to love me.
Spinelli: What, so you're just going to pretend the whole concept doesn't exist?
Lulu: I -- I know that love exists! I just -- I don't want to end up like them -- happy as long as the truth never comes out -- or worse, I don't want to end up like my parents.
Spinelli: But I -- I thought your cool-but-intimidating patriarch and his lovely angel, Laura, had the -- had the kind of love that stands the test of time, that knows no limits, has no end.
Lulu: My dad has never been good at respecting boundaries or following rules. He does what he wants, he takes what he wants. Huh. My d-- my dad raped my mother.
Kate: This little stunt you pulled is going to cost you the badge you're wearing and any future hope of a career in law enforcement. When my lawyers are done with you, you'll be Lucky to find a job as a security guard.
Sonny: Be quiet.
Kate: Don't you take that tone with me.
Sonny: If you don't keep your mouth shut, they're going to lock you up for disorderly conduct. And when they book you, they do a background check, okay? Unless you want the whole world to know you're Connie Falconeri, I would advise you to shut up.
Ric: Kate Howard?
Kate: Ah. At last -- someone with a modicum of cultural awareness. And you are?
Ric: I'm Ric Lansing, I'm the district attorney.
Kate: Oh. Well, it's a pleasure -- at least, it would be if it weren't for these dreadful handcuffs. Please, have them removed immediately -- and you can take them off Mr. Corinthos, as well.
Ric: Oh, well, I'm sorry, Ms. Howard, it's procedure, but -- well, maybe the two of you can wait up in my office. Barrett? Could you escort these two prisoners up to my office, please?
Coop: Yes, Sir. Let's go around this way.
Logan: Can I help you?
Skye: I'm here to see Sonny. It's important.
Logan: Sonny was arrested. Jason, too. They're both down at the police station being questioned.
Skye: Uh -- well, when they're released, could you please have them contact me as soon as possible?
Logan: Wait, wait, wait.
Skye: Excuse me?
Logan: There's nothing else you want me to tell them?
Skye: Well, I'd rather not go into detail.
Logan: Mr. Corinthos trusts me. So can you.
Skye: Well, I'll keep that in mind. It's hard to tell who's on whose side these days.
Coop: The D.A. should be in soon.
Kate: Oh -- before you go, I'll have a soy vanilla latte, scorching hot with two sugars.
Sonny: Ms. Howard, he's a cop, not your coffee boy.
Coop: I'll be out in the hallway.
Kate: Well, this is perfect. I spent a lifetime building a reputation, and within a month of laying eyes on you, I'm in handcuffs being held as an accessory to murder. You didn't do it, did you?
Sonny: I hope you have a hell of a P.R. person, because the tabloids are going to have a field day with this.
Kate: Oh, please, don't be ridiculous. I've talked my way out of tickets before.
Sonny: It's not a ticket -- you assaulted a police officer.
Kate: He was manhandling me. My lawyers will threaten to sue for police brutality, and we'll have the charges dropped by the end of the business day.
Sonny: Okay, Connie, the harder you fight, the worse it's going to be. Keep your mouth shut, I'll get you out of this.
Kate: Oh, oh, okay -- like you got me out of scrubbing our names off my Uncle Anthony’s garage door? It was very artistic, by the way, with the heart and all?
Kate: Who knew you could be so handy with a can of spray paint?
Sonny: By the way, the Minucci brothers were the ones who tagged your uncle's garage, not me.
Kate: Oh. Then why did you confess to doing it, and more importantly, why did you say that I helped?
Sonny: I had my reasons.
Jerry: You know, I -- I hate to think of your opinion of me to sink any lower, but everything that your lovely wife said of me is absolutely true. Then again, it could be a good thing for you to see how far I've sunk. Because then it won't be -- it won't be such a shock when you're left twisting in the wind.
Carly: This isn't funny. The police are going to prove that you're James Craig -- and that Jax has been covering for you. Do you care that Ric Lansing is going to charge him as an accomplice? Do you -- do you even care?
Jerry: Well, actually, Ric Lansing’s attention is focused on something else at the moment. You see, I was on a small fact-finding mission at the pcpd when the esteemed D.A. had Jason Morgan paraded in for the murder of Lorenzo Alcazar.
Carly: Jason's arrested?
Jerry: Well, I think handcuffs are a good indication, no?
Carly: I need to go check on him.
Jax: It's okay.
Carly: Are you sure?
Carly: I will call you.
Carly: Okay. Bye-bye.
Jerry: You know, Jax, I've never been married before, God forbid, but I would seriously consider ending the union if my wife ran off to rescue another man the way Carly did.
Jax: You're actually trying to give me marriage advice, Jerry? Really, thanks for your concern, but, you know, Carly and Jason are best friends.
Jerry: Oh, yes, friends, friends, friends, lovers -- that's a gray area these days.
Jax: You know, you're not really in a position to be joking around, because I have to make a decision. I have to decide whether I'm going to stand by and watch what you created for yourself, or if I'm going to, you know, bail you out like I usually do.
Jerry: Is that a gamble you're willing to take?
Jax: Well, it's a gray area.
Spinelli: I am so sorry, blond -- Lulu. I -- I don't know what to say.
Lulu: Yeah, neither did I. When I heard what my dad did to my mom in court, I felt like somebody put a knife in my chest. I -- I couldn't breathe, I couldn't speak. And now I know why everyone was trying to keep me away from court. They all knew that Scott was going to use rape to make my dad look as bad as possible, and that's exactly what happened. Scott made Nikolas get up on that stand and say those words in front of everyone.
Spinelli: Maybe there were extenuating circumstances. No, no, no, not with -- not with your mom and dad, but with slimy-face Baldwin.
Lulu: I just want to make sense of it. I just -- I want to figure out how my mom could forgive and marry and have kids with a man who could hurt her like that! But I can't ask her because she's incurable -- big surprise, considering.
Spinelli: Falling in love was not what caused your mom's illness.
Lulu: I can't take that chance. I cannot readily put myself in a position where I could get hurt like that. So that's why I can't date you or Milo or Dillon.
Spinelli: Well, then I humbly offer to remain your trusted and loyal friend -- if that's okay.
Lulu: A friend is good. Sometimes a friend is best.
Georgie: Maxie, did it ever occur to you that you are my sister and I just want you to be okay? Even if Coop is the greatest guy in the world, you are still sneaking around to be with him. You're losing sleep and it's -- Maxie, it's not healthy. Sooner or later, you're going to crash.
Maxie: I get how frustrating it must be to warn me and warn me and I never listen. Sometimes I feel the same way about Coop.
Georgie: You mean he's not always perfect?
Maxie: No, he is -- his friend is another story. I mean, Logan barged in the other night and announced that he was working for Sonny Corinthos now. Like Coop was supposed to promise in advance to not arrest him -- and Logan hits on me every chance he gets.
Georgie: Have you told Coop?
Maxie: No, I don't want that kind of drama.
Georgie: You're not flirting with Logan, are you?
Maxie: God, no, Georgie, that guy is scum!
Georgie: This is the sound of you protesting too much.
Maxie: Do not be paranoid, okay? I don't want anything to do with Logan.
Georgie: Fine. Drink the tea, and come to yoga with me tomorrow.
Georgie: Because yoga is the path to tranquility -- and you could definitely use some.
Carly: Where's Jason?
Lucky: He's in the interrogation room.
Lucky: Whoa -- hey, where do you think you're going? Nobody's allowed in there except Jason's lawyer.
Carly: Well, it's a good thing I have a cousin that's a cop.
Lucky: Oh, forget it. I can't let you go in there.
Carly: What are you talking about? All you have to do is look the other way for five minutes. Fine, I'll pick up the phone, I'll call Sam, she'll bring the TV crew down here, I'll make a loud scene out front, there'll replay it --
Lucky: No publicity in the world is going to save Jason. He is charged for murder.
Carly: Then please let me go talk to him for five minutes. Please, Lucky?
Lucky: Okay, make it fast.
Carly: Thank you, thank you. Jason --
Lucky: Rodriguez will be coming by soon to take Jason in for processing -- I would like you to be gone before then.
Carly: Are you okay?
Jason: You shouldn't -- you shouldn't be here, Carly.
Carly: Where else would I be? I'm not going to be at home while you're locked up.
Jason: Diane's on her way down.
Carly: What about Sonny? Where is he?
Sonny: You remember how hot it was that summer?
Kate: All the summers were hot in Bensonhurst.
Sonny: Which is why the Minucci brothers used to hang out at that diner on 83rd street to stay cool.
Kate: Well, it was the only air conditioning for six blocks.
Sonny: And you had to order something to sit. Well, Moose and Eddie, like always, didn't have any money, so your uncle chased them out, and they tagged his garage to get even.
Kate: So why didn't you blame them instead of me?
Sonny: Well, because, you know, you were -- you were giving me the silent treatment for over a week, and I wanted to get close to you, tell you how sorry I was. And then we made up, and you know how good that was.
Kate: It was a long time ago.
Sonny: Anyway, listen, you know what? And here I am now with you. We're sitting here, and I got you in trouble again, and I apologize for that, but I'm going to tell you something right now. Do not put on this Kate Howard, high-society act with Ric, because it's not going to work.
Kate: Want to bet? Oh, good, great. Now we can get this harmless misunderstanding behind us.
Ric: Yeah. Detective Rodriguez indicated in his report that you mentioned something about shots being fired on your property?
Kate: Yeah, actually, it just sounded like a shot, and it really was the cable snapping. I was having my statue flown in, and the marble must've been too heavy for the cable and it went crashing through my house. Mr. Corinthos and I were discussing the damages when your officers came charging in -- using excessive force, I might add. Now, I don't have to tell you how police brutality has become a very hot-button issue. This could be very damaging for your department if it was made public. Huh. I think, really, the best way for you to avoid a spectacle is to have us released immediately, drop all the charges.
Ric: Are you threatening me, Ms. Howard?
Kate: Oh, no. That is such an ugly way to put it. Why don't we just call it an emphatic request?
Jerry: Well, we could play the odds that the blood sample the police are trying to match to me belongs to someone else.
Jax: Yeah. I'm looking for something a little more solid than that.
Jerry: Well, then you're looking in the wrong place. I mean, for what it's worth, I didn't want it to go that far. After the fiasco at the metro court, you know, I just needed somewhere to regroup.
Jax: So you went to Wyndemere and you poisoned Nikolas?
Jerry: I was forced to improvise. I mean, I double-crossed the people who hired me to rob the hotel and taken 10 million. I couldn't very well jump in a plane as James Craig. I needed a new identity, so Nikolas was the perfect person to obtain it from.
Jax: And I understand that Nikolas already had that new identity for you, but you stuck around anyway. Why didn't you just leave?
Jerry: Well, I don't know. I was gambling on coming back to Port Charles society as Jerry Jacks, the loving brother who bore an unfortunate resemblance to the local sociopath, but I can see that hasn't worked out, so that's why I've decided to leave -- before I drag you down to this even further. I guess you'll have quite a mess to clean up after me, but look on the bright side -- you'll never have to do it again.
Jax: Jerry, the --
Jerry: No, no, please, please. No maudlin goodbyes. Just give Lady Jane my love, okay? Oh, Jax, one more thing -- just write me off for good this time.
Lulu: Um -- I should probably talk to Milo about this alone.
Spinelli: Right. Uh, yeah, I'll just -- I'll go update Stone Cold on the innocent one.
Lulu: Do you really think that's a good idea?
Spinelli: Well, Elizabeth just -- just took baby Jake in for a checkup, and Stone Cold will probably protest at first, saying I should just delete the files. But then right before I give the final command, he'll get all, uh, weepy and want to know the progress of his progeny --
Lulu: Okay, I think Jason had his reasons to give up his son, so we should respect them and not make it harder. What are you doing here?
Logan: Filling in.
Spinelli: Okay, yeah, since when did you become one of Mr. Corinthos, Sir's protectors of the night?
Logan: Since I proved that Sonny can trust me.
Spinelli: Does Stone Cold know about your insolence?
Logan: Jason's the one who gave me my first assignment.
Spinelli: Yeah, okay, step aside, simian. I need to verify this with Stone Cold.
Logan: Listen, Morgan's not in there, he's in jail -- and your brother's the one who put him there.
Lulu: What did he do?
Logan: Alcazar's dead. As far as I can tell, Morgan's the killer, which means that Sonny's going to need someone to take his place -- that "someone" being me.
Spinelli: You're not fit to sniff Stone Cold's shoes, let alone fill them.
Logan: Your dungeons and dorks stuff is getting really old from you! Now, you need to stay out of this.
Lulu: Okay, you need to let him go! Let him go!
Kate: I have recently acquired a multimillion-dollar property in the area, which makes me one of the most influential people in town, and I would just hate it to see your office and my team of legal experts get off on the wrong foot. You understand my position, don't you?
Ric: You know what? Let me go check on a few formalities, and I'll get this whole thing moving.
Kate: See? Hmm. We'll have this whole thing cleared up.
Sonny: Not if Ric has anything to do with it.
Kate: Well, he seemed perfectly reasonable to me.
Sonny: He seemed perfectly reasonable because he's not only the D.A., he's my half brother.
Kate: Well, why didn't you say so? We could've used the family card and had this whole mess cleared up as soon as we walked in.
Sonny: Ric's not going to do me any favors, he's not -- he lives to make my life miserable. If you had asked him to release only you, he'd have done it in a heartbeat. But the fact that you included me, now you've ruined any chance that you have of getting out of here.
Kate: Well, I happen to know the weight that my name carries. This will all be over soon, and then you can thank me.
Jason: Carly, once Diane gets here, she's going to fill me in with the exact details, I'll probably end up staying overnight, and then it's going to be done, okay?
Carly: Yeah, well, Lucky says it's serious. Is there any chance that Ric has evidence that you killed Alcazar?
Jason: I don't know.
Carly: What do you mean, you don't know? Since when don't you know every move you make back and forth?
Jason: I'm not going to talk about this with you right now, okay?
Carly: No, no one else is here. Where's Sam? Is her career too important to come down here and help you?
Jason: I haven't called Sam, and I'm not going to call Sam.
Jason: Because there's nothing Sam or you can do to help me, so just go home.
Carly: I am not going to go home and sit there while you're in trouble. You need help, and no one else is here, so I'm going to help you.
Jason: No -- Carly, please don't do it. Carly, don't -- Carly!
Elizabeth: Jason is going to be just fine. He'll find his way out. He always does, okay? Here.
Elizabeth: You're home early.
Lucky: Yeah, I got Cruz to cover my shift. I wanted to come home and talk to you.
Elizabeth: What's there to talk about? Like you said, you're just doing your job.
Lulu: Spinelli is my friend! If you touch him again, you will regret it!
Spinelli: I appreciate your impassioned defense, Blond One, but I am perfectly capable of handling the unworthy one on my own.
Logan: I'd like to see you try.
Spinelli: Be prepared. The Jackal's about to unleash a webworm that will wreak havoc on your system -- I'm talking total annihilation.
Logan: I don't fight computers.
Spinelli: Oh -- agh!
Logan: Come on, get up! That's not how you take a punch. Get up!
Lulu: Leave him alone!
Logan: You got this all wrong, sweetheart. The guy is supposed to protect the girl, not the other way around.
Lulu: Well, I don't need protection.
Logan: All right, you –
[Knock on door]
Jax: Jerry, it's me, open up.
Jerry: There's no reason for you to be here.
Jax: I thought you might want to see this.
Jerry: What is it?
Jax: Well, it's the D.N.A. test results from the police. Yeah, it says that there's no match between you and the ones James Craig left behind in the restaurant.
Jerry: How's that possible?
Jax: Well, you're not the only one that's good at breaking and entering.
Jerry: You altered the results?
Jax: And swapped the samples so they can't run your blood again -- at least for now. But if you ever threaten someone I love again, I'm going to hand those samples to Ric so he can prove what he already knows -- that you and James Craig are the same person.
Kate: You don't think I can get us out of this, do you?
Sonny: You don't even know what "this" is. You're just shooting off at the mouth because you want to be the most important person in the room.
Kate: Uh -- I was trying to get us released.
Sonny: No, you were trying to win, because that's the way you've always been, Connie. You know what? You don't -- nothing satisfies you unless you're in first place.
Kate: Well, there's nothing wrong with being ambitious. And besides, a person like me shouldn't have to settle.
Sonny: Oh. Is that what happened the night you didn't show up when we were supposed to run away together? You didn't want to settle for someone like me?
Ric: Ah. Do him. You're free to go, Sonny.
Sonny: Oh, great.
Ric: Apparently, there isn't any evidence implicating you in Alcazar's murder.
Kate: And me?
Ric: Hmm? Oh, no, you -- you assaulted a police officer, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to hold you.
Kate: I was defending myself.
Ric: I'm really sorry, Ms. Howard. I wish I could help you, but unfortunately, the law requires that I hold you in lockup until bail is set. You understand my position, don't you?
Kate: I most certainly do not. I demand that you uncuff me this instant.
Ric: You "demand"?
Sonny: Okay, Ric -- Ric, don't -- leave her alone. Just -- let's -- deal with this with me, don't -- leave her out of it.
Carly: What the hell are you doing? Your best friend's been arrested for murder, and you're in here defending her?
Lucky: I don't pick my assignments, Elizabeth. I mean, who knows what would've happened if somebody else had gone in my place? I mean, what if Jason -- what if he tried to resist arrest? I mean, my God, Elizabeth, he had our son Jake. I mean, what if he tried to --
Elizabeth: Jason would never put Jake’s life in danger. So don't try to rationalize what you did, because I watched you take the man who gave us our son out in handcuffs.
Coop: Rodriguez told me to take you down to processing.
Jason: I want to wait for my lawyer.
Coop: Sorry, you'll have to wait in a holding cell until she gets here. If I show you any special treatment, the cops will get suspicious.
Jason: Do you know what they've got on me?
Coop: All I know is that Lansing seems pretty confident. He's already convinced a judge to hold you without bail.
Jason: Do I get a phone call?
Coop: Yeah, if there's someone you need to talk to, I'd do it now, because it's probably going to be a while before you get to see them again.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Jerry: I'm not going to be creating any more trouble for you.
Man: In what room is Jerry Jacks?
Lucky: I didn't expect to see the guy I'm about to arrest holding my son.
Elizabeth: Jason is allowed to hold Jake whenever he wants.
Carly: Are you even going to post bail?
Kate: Hello? Release me, immediately.
