Patrick: Thank you. We'll compare this with the blood sample with the shot, cross-reference it with the counteragent Craig gave us --
Nikolas: He gave you the counteragent to save me. Do you think he would've done that if he knew there was a way to duplicate it?
Patrick: Craig is arrogant. It's finally working against him. We have to exploit it.
Jerry: Well, you see, some deals are more volatile than others. This one has large benefits, or it could fall apart disastrously, and I need --
Carly: Oh -- thank God the rain stopped. It must've been Mother Nature’s way of welcoming -- hi!
Carly: Oh, this is so nice.
Sonny: Connie Louise Falconeri. You lived in that green house on the corner of Mystic and Rockingham in Bensonhurst.
Kate: [Speaking French]
Sonny: She'll call you back.
Kate: If you didn't want me to use the phone, a simple "I changed my mind" would’ve sufficed.
Sonny: "Sufficed." You were always trying to use those big words when you were younger, right?
Kate: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Sonny: Sure you --
Lucky: We need help, please! Something's wrong with my wife! Elizabeth?
Lulu: What's wrong?
Lucky: She passed out!
Kelly: Stand clear.
Lucky: We were just talking and everything was fine, and then --
Epiphany: Okay, Elizabeth’s blood pressure is dangerously low.
Kelly: She's bleeding out.
Tracy: Don't you have something better to do other than haunt me?
Alan: Actually, no.
Tracy: So think of something. How about taking a nice tour of heaven? You were a doctor, perhaps you could wheedle your way in on good behavior.
Alan: A little cranky tonight, are you?
Tracy: I don't need you to police me.
Alan: You're still worried about Scott Baldwin’s lawsuit to become Laura’s guardian.
Tracy: If Scott wins, it will devastate Luke, which will put a serious damper on my marriage, and I don't want that kind of aggravation.
Alan: Oh, give it up, Tracy. I've been haunting you long enough now to know that you're madly in love with your husband, you poor, deluded creature.
Luke: Good evening, wife.
Tracy: Mmm. That was an unexpected surprise. I thought you were staying in town tonight, you handsome devil.
Luke: Well, I was, but I got bored. So I thought, "Go home, take a chance."
Tracy: Your chance just paid off. I am "so" in the mood for company.
Luke: You don't already have it?
Tracy: Why, what could you possibly mean -- Alan?
Luke: Tracy, the rain stopped and the roads are clear. So if the dearly undeparted is in residence tonight, just tell me now so that I can get back to town while I'm still sober enough to drive.
Kate: You've mistaken me for someone else.
Sonny: I knew something was familiar -- the way you sat on the desk, the way -- the shape of your mouth. But it was the sugar that nailed it -- the way you tapped it, you know, with your fingers? I used to tease you about that, remember?
Kate: No, I can't remember what I've never experienced. But my time is money, so I'll leave you to your delusions.
Sonny: Swear on the Virgin Mary that you weren't born Connie Falconeri.
Kate: I don't swear.
Sonny: The accent's great. It doesn't surprise me because you worked really hard at trying to speak like someone who had class.
Kate: You seem really obsessed with this Connie Falconer?
Sonny: That's -- that's very good. Very good, yeah.
Kate: Well, I'm sure that the real Connie is so much better. So why don't you call Bensonhurst information and find her?
Sonny: Okay, you know what? I don't want to make trouble for you, but I will if you don't explain. It's your choice.
Kate: I haven't used the name Connie Falconeri since I changed it when I was 18.
Jane: Carly, it's wonderful to see you, but I thought you weren't due back from Fiji until Thursday.
Carly: I know. We just cut our honeymoon just a little bit short.
Jane: Well, no problems, I hope.
Carly: No, no problems at all. We just realized when we were hanging out in paradise that we were counting the hours until we could get home and see the boys, so --
Jane: So all is well between you and Jax?
Carly: All is perfect. Your son is wonderful, Lady Jane.
Carly: Oh, my God, the wedding photos!
Jane: Oh, well, where is the dear boy, by the way?
Carly: Oh, well, the Metro Court is booked, and he went there to make sure everything was going okay.
Jane: Oh, I so look forward to seeing him.
Carly: Oh, I have the car waiting for you out front.
Jane: Oh --
Carly: It's going to take you back to the Metro Court.
Jane: Well -- well, I -- I'm not even packed. I didn't expect you so soon. I think it's best if I stay right here.
Nikolas: It's up to me to deal with him.
Robin: So far, that hasn't worked that well.
Emily: It's too dangerous to fight with Craig, Nikolas. He retaliates by hurting you. You almost died.
Robin: I know that it's frustrating, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We can take some of the counteragent that Patrick saved and produce more of it.
Nikolas: That's -- that's what he wants. He wants -- he wants us spinning our wheels in a lab. And we'll just wind up empty-handed and wasting our time.
Patrick: Well, you got a better idea?
Nikolas: Craig has a family, someone that he cares about. That's what the fight was about. I answered his cell phone --
Emily: Who was it?
Nikolas: I -- I don't know, me
Robin: What would you suggest doing?
Nikolas: Find out who and where this woman is.
Patrick: Well, we certainly can't threaten her to get to Craig.
Nikolas: Oh, I know. The point is he has a weakness. We need to find a way to exploit it.
Nikolas: Hello? All right, I'll be right there.
Emily: What is it?
Nikolas: Something's wrong with Elizabeth.
Robin: Nikolas, wait -- hold on. Hold on.
Lucky: You're going to be okay, I'm right here.
Epiphany: We've got to get her to the O.R.
Lucky: Okay, I'm going to come with her.
Epiphany: You can walk with her as far as the doors.
Lucky: Okay, the doc's going to fix you right up, Elizabeth. You're going to be okay.
Lulu: Oh, my God, that baby can't be losing Elizabeth.
Tracy: Actually, I've become quite adept at ignoring Alan’s presence.
Alan and Luke: Since when?
Luke: Every time you look at that chair, you argue with it.
Alan: Admit you forged my will, I'm out of here.
Tracy: Enough with the thunder and lightning.
Alan: That wasn't me.
Luke: Okay, that's it. I'm not going to spend another night here being ignored while you fight with the furniture.
Tracy: You know what? I put up with your issues with Laura, you can damn well put up with my issues with my not-so-departed brother! Ugh!
Alan: That was me.
Luke: Point taken. The scotch is better here anyway.
Tracy: Hello? Just a minute. It's your sister.
Luke: Hmm. Barbara?
Bobbie: Lucky and Elizabeth had their baby. It's a boy.
Luke: Is he healthy?
Bobbie: Yes, but there were complications. Elizabeth's in surgery. Lucky needs you.
Carly: You're always welcome in my home. I just thought you'd be more comfortable at the Metro Court.
Jane: And I plan to move there first thing in the morning. But in the meantime, why don't you send your driver off and you make yourself comfortable?
Carly: Oh, I hope that's not Jax telling me that he's not able to come home.
Jane: Oh, I'll get it. I would like to say hello to that boy of mine and remind him to be careful on a night like -- hello?
Bobbie: Oh, hi, Jane, it's Bobbie do you have a number for Carly and Jax in Fiji? I need to speak to her.
Jane: She's right here. They came back earlier than expected. It's your mother.
Carly: Oh. Thanks. Hey, Mom, what's up?
Bobbie: I'm glad you're back. Elizabeth had the baby, and it's a boy and he's fine, but, uh, there were complications. She's bleeding. She's in surgery.
Carly: Is she going to be okay?
Bobbie: We're not sure yet. Lulu is here. She's pretty upset, so I thought it might help if you were to come over.
Carly: I'm -- I'll be right there. Well, there's a family emergency. Will you please tell Jax I'll be back as soon as I can?
Jerry: Mum, you are so good at this. I mean, who knew you could be so duplicitous?
Nikolas: We're too late. Elizabeth's already in surgery.
Emily: It's good that they got her in so fast. The doctors are going to have a better chance of repairing the damage.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Emily: For what?
Nikolas: For always being so positive.
Emily: Nikolas, she has so much to live for. She's going to make it through. Meanwhile, you need to rest. You're supposed to be in bed. Come on.
Nikolas: I have to go find Lucky. Hey. Is she already -- is she already in surgery?
Lucky: I just came back here to wait.
Nikolas: How is she?
Lucky: I don't know. I just walked Elizabeth to the O.R. doors. Then I went to the observation area to watch. I just couldn't stand it. I mean, what -- what if --
Lulu: We have to wait, okay? Don't do anything drastic. Elizabeth might pull through.
Jason: She has to.
Lulu: I know -- I know what you're thinking, I know -- if Elizabeth doesn't make it, should you tell Lucky that the baby is yours? But that would mean that Lucky would lose a wife and he would lose a child. And I know that you agreed to let Lucky raise this baby because you wanted your child to have the best life possible, and Elizabeth wanted this baby to grow up with a happy family, with cam and Lucky, and you agreed to Elizabeth’s wishes. You have to honor that now, Jason. You can't step forward now as the baby's father.
Kate: A bientot.
Sonny: You studied French in high school, you were on the honor roll.
Kate: I cared about my grades.
Sonny: You even studied during lunch, because when I stopped by a couple times at Sacred Heart, you -- you didn't want anything to do with me.
Kate: It was a long time ago -- a different life, different name.
Sonny: Why'd you change your name? You have trouble with the law?
Kate: No, that was your specialty. I've never had so much as a parking ticket.
Sonny: Oh, you weren't always so perfect. There were a couple of nights there that we could've gotten --
Kate: You seem to remember a lot about Bensonhurst.
Sonny: Yeah, well, so do you.
Kate: Well, you know, some of it's coming back. I do remember you were always this cocky.
Sonny: Yeah? Some things never change.
Kate: and others change completely -- I'm one of them.
Sonny: "Couture" magazine -- my lawyer says it's a big deal. Is that a big deal?
Kate: "Couture" is the leading fashion magazine in the country.
Sonny: I'm sure you had a lot to do with that.
Kate: Well, yes, it had everything to do with me.
Sonny: It doesn't surprise me because remember when we used to take the subway into Manhattan and we used to, you know, watch everybody walk by, and you used to memorize what the ladies were wearing? Then you started going to thrift shops, buying rip-off designer Remember that one guy who said, "Aren’t you --"
Kate: Christian Dior. Your memory's becoming a bit unnerving.
Sonny: Well, then why don't you do all the talking? Why are you so ashamed to use your own name?
Carly: Hey, Mom.
Bobbie: Hey, I am so sorry that your honeymoon had to end like this.
Carly: Oh, it's okay. It's okay. Jax and I had a great time. Lulu's family -- not that I'm a big Elizabeth fan, that's for sure.
Bobbie: Okay. Tone down the anti-Elizabeth rhetoric because there is a very real chance she won't survive.
Carly: Are you serious?
Bobbie: Lucky is devastated, and so is Lulu, so I was hoping you could find some way to comfort her.
Carly: Absolutely, yeah.
Jerry: I appreciate you running interference on Carly, but I -- from now on, I need to keep my distance from Jax's family.
Jane: Well, what about the transaction you mentioned?
Jerry: No, I've changed my mind. I won't need your assistance after all.
Jane: Oh, Jerry, I am furious at e way you've squandered your life, but I am your mother, you are my son. If there's anything I can do to help you --
Jerry: Mum, I am eternally grateful for your assistance, but I got myself into this and I can bloody well get myself out of it without dragging you and Jax into it.
Jane: But you still haven't told me what -- what trouble you're in this time.
Jerry: I'll call you when I can.
Spinelli: Blond One. Blond One. Are you all right?
Spinelli: I was monitoring the hospital mainframe and learned of the innocent one's birth. Is the baby okay?
Lulu: Yeah, it's a boy, and, yes, he's fine, but Elizabeth had to have emergency surgery, and it's serious. She might not make it.
Spinelli: That is -- that is most sad news. I'm sorry.
Lulu: Yeah, yeah. I'm -- I'm very worried about Elizabeth, and Lucky is in love with her, so in love with her. And she and the baby are his entire life, and he's a wreck. Jason's here, too.
Spinelli: Oh. How is Stone Cold?
Lulu: He's worried about Elizabeth. But I'm afraid that if Elizabeth doesn't make it, he's going to take the baby.
Spinelli: I mean, the little stone cold one is his baby.
Lulu: And Lucky is going to need this child more than ever right now.
Spinelli: Yeah -- no, I have the deepest sympathy for your brother --
Lulu: No! Spinelli, no, no, no! No more of that. Look, I am begging you right now. You need to find Jason and convince him that if Elizabeth doesn't make it, he has to leave that baby with Lucky.
Lucky: He's just so tiny and perfect. You know his little head fit right in the palm of my hand? I just looked into his eyes and he looked back at me. I just felt like my whole world was complete.
Nikolas: I know what you mean.
Lucky: Elizabeth -- she just smiled at me, and then she closed her eyes and the machines started blaring.
Emily: Elizabeth's strong, Lucky. She's getting excellent care. She's going to pull through.
Lucky: She has to. I can't live my life without her.
Nikolas: Believe that you won't have to, Lucky.
Luke: I hear Elizabeth’s in surgery. She's going to be all right, isn't she?
Emily: We're waiting to hear.
Luke: Are you hanging in there?
Lucky: Yeah, I'm doing okay, as long as Elizabeth makes it.
Emily: Right. You should be lying down, Nikolas, come on.
Luke: Yeah, you look -- you look terrible, man.
Nikolas: You should've seen me a few hours ago. I'm better now.
Lucky: Nikolas, go home.
Nikolas: No, no, Lucky, it's fine. I'll stay here until she's out of surgery.
Lucky: Nikolas, I appreciate your support, but there's nothing you can do.
Emily: Lucky's right. Come on, we need to go.
Luke: Yeah, get some rest.
Nikolas: I'll call you later for an update, okay?
Lucky: Now I get it.
Luke: Get what?
Lucky: Why you're the way you are. When you lose the person who means everything to you, there's nothing left.
Spinelli: Congratulations on the birth of your son.
Spinelli: Uh -- um -- you know, the Jackal has yet to view the little stone cold one. I was thinking maybe we could -- I don't know -- uh -- go down nursery maybe?
Jason: You know, I'm just trying to stay out of the way. You know, it's weird enough that I happened to stop by the house to check in on Elizabeth.
Jason: I brought her into the emergency room and -- and watched through the glass while they performed the emergency c-section.
Spinelli: I mean, the Blond One said that the little stone cold one is okay, though, right?
Jason: He wasn't breathing at first. You know, he was so still, and for a moment I didn't -- I didn't think he made it because I couldn't hear him. But the medical team, they pulled him through. And as soon as I saw him start to squirm, I knew that -- I knew that he was -- he was okay. And I was -- I was just so relieved. And I looked at Elizabeth, and she was still so pale, and they just rushed her back into surgery. I promised Elizabeth that if anything were to happen to her, I would -- I would do what's best for my child.
Sonny: People change their name for a lot of reasons. My father changed his name to get over a gambling debt. My wife -- my ex-wife used to be called Caroline, now she's Carly.
Kate: Hmm. Changing an elegant name like Caroline for Carly speaks volumes. Let me guess -- lots of spandex and animal prints?
Sonny: She's hot, she dresses that way.
Sonny: That's a good way of dodging. So why did you leave Connie Falconeri behind?
Kate: I wanted to move on. So the summer before I started at Princeton, I went down to the hall of records and I legally my name to Kate Howard.
Sonny: Your parents didn't have a problem with that?
Kate: They were hurt, but I explained to them how it would help me fit in, and they eventually supported me. I started Princeton as Kate Howard.
Sonny: Where'd you come up with that name? That's --
Kate: Catherine Howard was the fifth wife of Henry viii. He beheaded her?
Sonny: Oh. And that seemed like a good omen to you?
Kate: Catherine Howard sounds vaguely familiar to people. They've heard it, they're not quite sure where -- and it projected the image I wanted to -- someone with background and social standing.
Sonny: But there's one problem, Connie -- it's a lie.
Kate: The fashion industry is full of smoke and mirrors. We create fashion, why shouldn't I create myself?
Sonny: Because it's not who you are.
Kate: No, it's exactly who I am. That's what I'm trying to tell you -- Connie Falconeri no longer exists.
Sonny: Connie Falconeri was supposed to run away with me. She never showed up. Why?
Lulu: I just wish the doctors would come out and say that the surgery was successful and Elizabeth is fine and she's ready to go home in a couple of days or so with Lucky and the baby.
Carly: Hey, all we can do is wait, pray, and know the doctors are doing everything they can do.
Lulu: It's really hitting me, you know, that Elizabeth is the center of -- of her entire family. This baby is completely dependent on her and Lucky has built his entire life around her. And I've been judging her this entire time, thinking that she didn't even deserve Lucky.
Carly: I thought you and Elizabeth were close.
Lulu: Um -- yeah, yeah. No, no, we were. We were until Lucky was in rehab, and I didn't think that she was as supportive as she should've been for him. And I think that some of the choices that she made were completely wrong. And I don't know. I've just -- I've been horrible to her, but who am I to criticize? I haven't done a stellar job running my own life.
Luke: She's in there fighting for her life. The last thing you need to do is starting wondering what you're going to do without her. That won't do anybody any good. Don't futurize. You just have to wait and believe that she can get better. And if the day ever does come that you lose her, you'll see, life goes on. You just face the loss and the pain and you go on.
Lucky: I just pray it doesn't come to that.
Luke: Well, it probably won’t. You have to believe that she's going to be better, and you have to love her and wait. That's all you can do, son.
Jason: I gave up my baby because I believe that a child needs its mother. Elizabeth wanted to be with Lucky. They were already raising cam. The baby would be safe. It would have a family, and it would be loved.
Spinelli: That was, uh, when small stone cold was -- was a hypothetical, now he's real. Have you held him yet?
Jason: It was, uh -- it was incredible. I looked down at him -- I really don't have the words to describe it.
Spinelli: What if Elizabeth dies?
Jason: I mean, without Elizabeth, the family she wanted for the baby doesn't exist, and, you know, I am -- I'm the father, so --
Spinelli: Yeah, look, the Blond One wanted me to convince you to leave the baby with Lucky, but that wouldn't be right. This child is yours, Stone Cold. You have to claim him.
Sonny: I waited all night until -- well, it was 11:30 we were supposed to meet -- until the morning. I even went down your route to your house three times to make sure that you weren't jumped or something, and when I finally realized you weren't -- you weren't coming, you know what I did? I stood in that alley across your house and I watched you leave in the morning. And it was like -- for you, it was just like nothing, like an ordinary day.
Kate: Toothpaste and ice.
Sonny: What does that mean?
Kate: It's the remedy for puffy eyes, the kind you get when you've been crying all night.
Sonny: Did your parents catch you?
Kate: I caught myself about to climb out my window and run away from the future I wanted.
Sonny: I thought I was what you wanted.
Kate: No, you were all I could think about.
Sonny: Well --
Kate: Mm-hmm. Your dimpled grin and the way you looked at me like you could see right into my heart. Oh, yeah, you were dangerous and edgy, and I wanted to be the one to save you. I had my bags packed; I had my savings account cleared out. I made it to my bedroom window, and then I looked out, and I -- I saw my poster of Manhattan, where I had promised myself that one day I was going to live and work, and I was going to fit in, glamorous and sophisticated and so far away from Bensonhurst. And -- I realized if I climbed out that window, I would be running away from my dreams. And I wasn't going to do that, not even for you.
Sonny: Why didn't you tell me that?
Kate: Because I was afraid you'd talk me out of it.
Emily: You sit down and rest and I'm going to get you something to eat, okay?
Jerry: Aw. How solicitous, intern Emily. Your latest brush with death has obviously worn you out, hasn't it?
Nikolas: I thought you were leaving.
Jerry: Well, there's been a sudden change of plans for all of us, it seems, since intern Emily doesn't seem the slightest bit surprised to see me.
Emily: I know all about it -- how you poisoned Nikolas, you forced him to break up with me.
Jerry: Oh, no, no, it was Nikolas' idea to force you away for your own protection. You see, I argued in favor of true love.
Nikolas: You don't have to talk to him.
Jerry: I wanted to include Emily from the start, and now that she is, I know just the way to use her.
Robin: That was a waste of time.
Patrick: Whoever engineered the poison and the counteragent knew what they were doing.
Robin: We cannot crack this at a civilian lab.
Patrick: We can't just leave Nikolas to his fate and let Craig do whatever the hell he wants.
Robin: I'm sorry, I didn't mean it to sound hopeless.
Patrick: We can't give up on this, Robin.
Robin: I'm not. I'm just a little distracted right now.
Patrick: What, are you worried about Elizabeth?
Robin: I don't know. Maybe I'm just emotional because there's a baby involved.
Carly: You know what? It's natural to feel guilty about every unkind thing you've said or thought about Elizabeth, but you didn't cause this.
Lulu: I'm just -- I'm worried about Lucky. I wish that there was something that I could do.
Carly: I know, but you know what? You cannot jump in and fix it. You can’t. You have to let it play out and be there as best you can for your brother, okay? You can do that.
Lulu: Um -- I'm -- you know what? You just -- you got back from your honeymoon with Jax, and -- and you should be with your husband.
Carly: You know what? He will understand.
Lulu: Oh, no, really, it's okay. You should --
Carly: I can call him and stay with you.
Lulu: Really, it's fine. I -- I will call you and let you know if anything happens with Elizabeth. I'll be fine.
Carly: You sure?
Carly: Okay. Call me if you need me and you take care.
Lulu: I will.
Lulu: You're supposed to be watching Jason.
Spinelli: Look, I -- I couldn't stop Stone Cold from doing what he thinks is right.
Lucky: It's okay.
Lucky: Hi, little guy. Huh. Yeah. You made me the happiest man in the world, you know that? I'm just so proud to be your dad. You know, your mommy, she's not here right now, but she's going to be with us real soon. Yeah. Come on. Hi.
Sonny: So what'd you do the day after you didn't run away with me?
Kate: I entered an essay contest. I won it a month later -- which you would've known had you stopped by to see me.
Sonny: Well, you know, you were in high school, I was working.
Kate: You lived a few blocks away.
Sonny: Well, I was waiting for you to come by the house to tell me why you didn't show up that night. When you didn't, then I figured you wanted to be alone.
Kate: We, that's what my head wanted, not my heart, but my head won the battle -- story of my life. So what did you the next day?
Sonny: I got a job for Joe Scully. It proved that, you know, he could trust me and help me advance in the business.
Kate: Hmm. So, what is your business, or don't I want to know?
Sonny: Well, I had ambitions. You know, I wanted money and power. And since you never showed up, I had nothing to lose. And that could be good, you know, in my line of work.
Kate: Well, the same could be said about publishing -- you have to commit completely, live it, breathe it, be willing to do whatever it takes.
Sonny: Well, it looks like you've done that. You've made it big, Connie. Congratulations.
Kate: You don't appear to have done too badly yourself.
Sonny: See, there you go with that -- like you grew up on the Upper East Side -- "appear to have done --"
Kate: It comes naturally to me now. There's no trace left of who I was.
Sonny: And your smile, the little smile there, it's always -- it looks the same.
Kate: Maybe that's why I smile so rarely.
[Knock on door]
Clarice: The car's waiting.
Kate: I trust this one will function?
Clarice: The car service apologizes for the problem.
Kate: Just call the office and make sure that the photos from the shoot have uploaded. Thank you.
Sonny: Leaving so soon?
Kate: I have work to do, and there's really nothing left to say.
Sonny: Yeah, there is. Well, it's something I didn't get a chance to say -- "Goodbye, Connie."
Kate: It's been a slice of heaven.
Carly: Wow. Excuse you.
Kate: You must be Carly.
Carly: Was that --
Sonny: Yeah, she was some woman. She wanted to use the phone, runs a fashion magazine.
Carly: That was Kate Howard!
Sonny: Whoa –
Jerry: You see, intern Emily, I'm in need of an escort, and I think you will do nicely.
Nikolas: She's not going anywhere with --
Jerry: Oh -- though I find you hard to resist, I promise -- I promise that I won't try to sleep with you -- unless you request it, of course.
Nikolas: Emily, Emily --
Jerry: Now, you're going to have to get over that little aversion because you are going to come on a little business trip with me.
Nikolas: Leave her out of this.
Jerry: It's a little bit too late for that, isn't it?
Nikolas: We stick to the original agreement.
Jerry: You're becoming tiresome, Nikolas. I get to make the choices here. Emily is coming with me. And if I can't handle this transaction in a timely manner, with Emily’s assistance, then you won't get the counteragent, and you will die this time. So you see, your life is in Emily’s hands once again.
Luke: Elizabeth had problems; she's in surgery fighting for her life. Lucky's not handling it very well. I guess he's no better at being out of control than I am. It's funny, though. For all his trying to be different from me, up to and including becoming a cop, he could end up in the same place -- losing his wife, stuck with two kids he has no idea how to raise alone.
Tracy: Well, husband, I think if the worst happens, Lucky will be just fine, because he's going to have you to stand by him. Come here.
Kelly: Elizabeth is still in critical condition. If her blood doesn't clot, we may have to perform a hysterectomy.
Lucky: Elizabeth wants to have more children.
Kelly: I'm sorry, but at this point, our priority is saving her life. We'll monitor Elizabeth closely, and if more bleeding occurs, we'll have to go back into surgery.
Lucky: You do whatever you have to do to save her.
Lucky: I just saw our beautiful son. He needs his mother, and so does Cam. So do I.
Lucky: Nothing works without you, Elizabeth. Please don't leave me.
Lucky: I love you so much.
Spinelli: It's a really awesome and excellent child. You know, I kind of -- it's amazing, he looks just like you, only cuter. I mean, you're cute, too, just a little rough around the edges. Where you going? Just look at that little face. Big cheeks --
Jason: Spinelli, stop.
Jason: If I keep hanging around here, it's going to be that much harder for me to give him up.
Spinelli: But don't you want to hold your progeny?
Jason: I told you, I already held him. Besides, I can't -- I can't get in that nursery. I'm not listed as family.
Spinelli: Ah. Stone Cold must learn to trust the Jackal.
[Knock on door]
Epiphany: What do you want?
Spinelli: I'm here representing the stone cold one, who, if you will check, is on the list of approved visitors for the innocent one.
Jason: What he means --
Epiphany: I know what he means. Oh, well, now, isn't this something? Dr. Ford, who isn't a gynecologist or a pediatrician and who has never set foot in the nursery in all the time he's been working at this hospital, has cleared you to visit baby Spencer.
Spinelli: Will wonders never cease? Huh.
Epiphany: Far be it for me to contradict the great Dr. Ford. Go ahead. As for you, don't you ever pull a stunt like this again.
Jason: Oh, yeah. Hi, bud. Hi. I promise you, I'm going to give you the best life I can, whatever it takes, okay? Just remember that I'll always, always love you.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Robin: Craig really slipped up when he left the counteragent with us.
Patrick: He's got something else planned.
Emily: I'm ready to go to this business meeting.
Lucky: There's got to be something else we can do.
Kelly: We're doing everything possible.
Spinelli: That baby needs his real dad.
Jason: Can you tell me how the baby is?
