Sam: I am at work. I cannot talk now.

Wes: Don't talk, listen. You swindled me out of $500,000 and you're going to give back every penny, or I will blow your life apart.

Elizabeth: Chances are this is going to be a normal birth. Second children tend to come faster than the first.

Jason: Were there -- were there any problems with Cameron?

Elizabeth: No, none. But I wasn't keeping a secret. The doctors had accurate information on me and the baby, and this time they don’t. And I know that if something were to happen to the baby -- or to me -- that'd you'd want to -- that you'd want to come forward, and I'm just telling you that I agree.

Jason: If you're worried that something could happen, we can just -- we can just tell the truth now. Maybe it'd be better for everybody.

Emily: I need you to page Dr. Scorpio and Dr. Drake, stat. All right? Here, let's go over here. How's your breathing?

Nikolas: It's okay for right now.

Emily: Oh, you said that -- that Craig’s played these mind games before, huh? That -- that he lets you think you're going to die, and at the last minute he gives you the counteragent?

Nikolas: It doesn't matter, he's gone. He doesn't need me anymore.

Jerry: So tell Jax I only wish him happiness and I hope his marriage finally lasts.

Jane: Jerry, whatever trouble you're in, we'll sort this out when Jax comes back --

Jerry: No -- Mother --

Jane: From his honeymoon --

Jerry: No, no, I have no intention of involving either you or Jax into this. Leaving town is the best way to protect you both.

Jane: No, please, Jerry, just stay here --

[Knock on door]

Jerry: Whoever's here, get rid of them.

[Jane sighs]

Jane: Sonny.

Sonny: How are the boys?

Jane: Oh, very well. Last time I looked, they were very absorbed in a video game involving ninja-alien Vikings or some such.

Sonny: Looks like I picked the right time to visit.

Dillon: Um, I just wanted to, you know, trick Scott into thinking that I had something on him, but I --

Lulu: Dillon, stop -- stop. We're going to tell the truth.

Luke: So that is it, then? You thought that Scott was framing your mother?

Lulu: Um, we got Spinelli to help us -- he's this computer genius -- and we need him to -- to hack into some personal files, and we found out that Rick was probably blackmailing Scott, and -- and you were completely right. He lied -- he lied, um, about things, and -- and he didn't kill Rick Webber.

Luke: I'm sorry, Lulu. I know it would've been easier if he had.

Lulu: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was -- um -- I was grasping at straws, and I knew the truth all along. Um -- mom had a mental break and -- and she accidentally killed her stepfather.

Luke: What is it that made you question it in the first place?

Sam: I don't have half a million dollars just lying around.

Wes: You're a TV star; you got all the money you need. I'll call back in 30 minutes, have it ready for transfer.

Sam: Are you kidding me? 30 minutes -- that's going to be impossible.

Wes: Want me to go to the cops, or the press? That'd make a good headline, wouldn't it -- "Everyday hero swindles husband out of $500,000, skips town, changes name."

Sam: Fine, I'll see what I can do.

Amelia: What was that? Sam, you look shell-shocked.

Sam: I got to call Jason.

Amelia: Hey -- hey, Sam -- Sam, what's wrong?

Sam: You know what? It's personal.

Amelia: Hey -- hey, we're in the middle of taping here.

Sam: Yeah, I know, I'll be back.

Amelia: Hey, obviously there's something very wrong. Now, Sam, please tell me, what's going on?

Sam: Amelia, I -- I need $500,000 in 30 minutes or we don't have a show.

Elizabeth: I still believe it's best for this child to be raised in a family with me and Cameron and Lucky. So maybe we can just leave things the way they are -- unless this baby is at risk, and then I would want you to come forward.

Jason: I understand.

Elizabeth: God, Jason. I think about it all the time. I keep going over and over my reasons for hiding the truth because I can see what it's costing you to give up your place the father.

Jason: Whew. No, we're doing this. Decision is made; I'm not going to fight you. And I promise you if our child needs me, I will come forward.

Elizabeth: And I promise you I will give our child everything you would want for it.

Patrick: What happened?

Emily: We don't have much time.

Robin: What -- what do you mean? Where's Craig?

Nikolas: He's gone, he's gone. He said he -- he couldn't risk staying in town any longer. He's gone.

Patrick: What about the counteragent?

Nikolas: He took it with him.

[Robin sighs]

Nikolas: I die in less than five hours if I don't get it.

Robin: Oh, my God.

Emily: Craig told him that physical exertion is going to make the poison work faster.

Patrick: Okay, well, how do you feel now?

Nikolas: Uh -- I'm a little sore, but otherwise -- otherwise I'm okay.

Patrick: Okay, we'll admit you while we get to work. We're going to have to rerun the tox screens on your blood, try and find something that we missed, hopefully synthesize a counteragent.

Emily: All right, do it fast.

Jane: There's quite a storm brewing.

Sonny: Yeah, it's supposed to hit us by late tonight.

Jane: Well, I am certainly glad the weather held for Jax and Carly’s wedding ceremony. It was quite a lovely ceremony, wasn't it?

Sonny: Yeah, it was very nice. So Michael and Morgan are upstairs?

Jane: Mm-hmm, yes. Are you going to tear them away from their ninja game and take them to dinner?

Sonny: Oh, no, I -- I got things I got to do, business-wise, but I promised I'd come by. So I'll just go upstairs --

Jane: No, before you do, there's something you need to know.

Elizabeth: Thank you for coming over. I know this was hard for you.

Elizabeth: So here I am -- calling you with my panic attacks, pouring out all my fear and angst.

Jason: It's okay, I'm -- I'm glad to help.

Elizabeth: Somehow it -- it just always makes me feel better to talk things through with you.

Jason: You're a good mother. It's smart that you're, you know, going through all the possibilities in your head. Are healthy, right, and the baby is, too?

Elizabeth: Oh, yeah. Yeah, the last checkup said that baby has a really strong heartbeat and is a good size, all systems go. I'm due next Tuesday. Dr. Kelly said it could really happen any time.

Jason: Then you should just try to focus on the good stuff -- you know, like the fact that you're bringing a new life into this world and what a miracle that is and how amazing it's going to be to hold your baby.

Elizabeth: Oh, thank you.

Dillon: Uh, well, it's obvious you guys have, um, some talking to do, and I'm pretty much a third wheel here, so I think I'm just going to roll on out.

Luke: You think that my daughter has something to tell me?

Dillon: No. No. I just figured this was one of those father/daughter moments.

Luke: Shuffle off, tap-dance man.

Dillon: Unless you want me to stay?

Lulu: No, you're right. This is -- this is between me and my dad, but thank you.

Dillon: Yeah.

Luke: Okay. Start at the beginning.

Lulu: Um -- I guess that was when mom relapsed last fall. It was awful for all of us, but, you know, I think that you and Nikolas and Lucky were able to accept it and -- and I couldn’t. And I wanted to believe that there was something that I could do to bring her back. That if I was able to prove that it was a mistake, that -- that she didn't kill Rick Webber, that I could tell her that and she would wake up. And I know that's really stupid, and --

Luke: No. I've had the same fantasy.

Lulu: You have?

Luke: Oh, sure. Look, the doctors say that there's no coming back from this, that it's psychomotor disassociation -- or whatever the hell it is- but -- you know, they say it's a physical thing, not mental, and that there's nothing that can be done. But even so, I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to walk into that room and tell Laura that she didn't kill Rick. I mean, I know she wouldn't hear me. But I'd like nothing better than to tell her I made a terrible mistake, and that she's innocent.

Ric: A cargo ship docked on Pier 38. It was unauthorized, so, naturally, I figured --

Skye: Oh, drop the act, Ric. Lorenzo's in South America pretending to get a second opinion from doctors there concerning his so-called brain injury.

Ric: Well, I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but I'm glad you finally admitted the truth.

Skye: Lorenzo admitted the truth, but it doesn't make up for his deception. He's been lying to me for months. I had no idea that he was fully recovered.

Ric: Well, the one person whom you counted on most in the world lied to you. It's understandable why you would be in denial.

Skye: So you come here to gloat?

Ric: I came to find out if Sonny and Jason had made any overtures.

Skye: You have to be more specific.

Ric: Threats of retaliation, or an offer to extract you from a dangerous and untenable situation.

Skye: If Sonny or Jason have decided to put a hit on Lorenzo, I doubt they'd come and ask me. But if they did, I'd help them.

Jane: Jax is your children's stepfather. I hope you recognize the importance of honoring that relationship.

Sonny: All I want is what's best for Michael and Morgan.

Jane: Now, I was here in January when you more or less forced Carly to marry you.

Sonny: Well, I needed help and she -- she was great to give it to me.

Jane: You and I both know that you are still in love with your ex-wife.

Jane: You've insinuated yourself into her life before and you can do it again. But if you do, it'll produce much strain on Carly and Jax's relationship.

Sonny: Carly made a decision, she's Jax's wife. I -- I wish her the best and I will not do anything to undermine their marriage.

Jane: Well, I'm glad to hear it. I'm sorry to keep you. Why don't you go upstairs and see the boys.

Sonny: I wish I had time to play, but at least I'll call them down and -- Michael, Morgan!

Michael: Dad!

Sonny: Hey. Hurry up, get over here.

Emily: Sorry, Nikolas, I've got to draw more blood.

Nikolas: It's okay.

Emily: Don't worry; they're going to find a counteragent.

Nikolas: Emily, they've been trying to break down that poison for weeks.

Emily: You can't give up hope.

Nikolas: I never thought it would end like this.

Emily: Patrick and Robin are brilliant doctors, Nikolas, they've made it their mission to save you. They're working hard as we speak.

Patrick: Well, at least we're making progress narrowing down the possibilities.

Robin: You're kidding yourself. We are nowhere near closer to finding this counteragent.

P.A. Announcer: Dr. Scorpio to radiology, stat.

Robin: Oh, damn. We have to keep working on this. I don't have time --

Patrick: Okay, go, go. I'll just -- I'll give them an update. I'll meet you back at the lab.

Robin: Thank you. I'll be quick.

Emily: Hi. Do you have anything yet?

Patrick: We found an important piece of the puzzle.

Emily: Okay. So you'll be able to make the counteragent?

Patrick: We're working on it.

Nikolas: What? What -- what aren't you telling us?

Emily: What time frame are we talking about?

Patrick: Anywhere from an hour to a day.

Nikolas: I don't have a day.

Amelia: $500,000? Why would you need that kind of money?

Sam: You know, forget it. You don't need to be involved in any of this.

Amelia: Oh -- oh, but I am involved. You're the star of my new show, and the network has a serious commitment to both of us. Besides, if you're in trouble, I want to help.

Sam: Thank you, thank you, but I'm going to be okay.

Amelia: Look, I know what kind of people Jason and Sonny are. If this is anything --

Sam: No, are you kidding me? No, this has nothing to do with them. This has nothing --

Amelia: Okay, well, you've had brushes with the law before you met them. Is this something to do with your past?

Sam: Yes, okay? Yes, it has something to do with my past. I married this guy -- I married this guy named Todd Sullivan, and I used an alias, so I really wasn't married, but --

Amelia: And what did you do?

Sam: Oh -- I lived with him for six months, and then I cleaned his bank account out.

Amelia: And when --

Sam: And I thought -- I thought I -- I just skipped town, you know, and I thought I covered my tracks, but -- like I said, I used an alias, but the show and the press and the P.R. and --

Amelia: Okay, what did he say to you?

Sam: Okay, he said that he will go to the police or to the press if I don't give back the money that I stole.

Amelia: What are you waiting for? You better call Jason and ask him for the money.

Sam: Call Jason -- are you kidding me? Jason knows that I was a con artist, but he doesn't know about this. Come on, I don't want him to know.

Lucky: Whew.

Elizabeth: Hey. What happened to your evening shift?

Lucky: I -- um -- you know, I forgot my files.

Elizabeth: Did not -- I watched you put the whole box in your trunk.

Lucky: Okay. I admit it, I couldn't stop thinking about you and the baby, so I decided to stop by and check on you.

Elizabeth: Lucky --

Lucky: No, I know you tried to get rid of me before --

Elizabeth: No, I just wanted a little peace and quiet.

Lucky: No, don't deny it; my hovering over you was making you crazy. But this is not me hovering, this is just me asking how you and the baby are doing.

Elizabeth: Okay, you want to know?

Lucky: Yeah.

Elizabeth: I'm getting a little nervous. I had a mini panic attack a little while ago.

Lucky: I -- well, why didn't you call me?

Elizabeth: Because you've been giving Mac all these excuses to get out of work to go see your pregnant wife. I didn't want you to have to do it again, especially when it's not an emergency.

Lucky: Anything that worries you is an emergency to me. Are you sure you're okay?

Elizabeth: I'm fine.

Elizabeth: I just focused on what I have to look forward to.

Sonny: You're going to be good for your new grandma Jane? And I know you miss your mama, right? She's going to be home real soon. How about you go upstairs and play superhero? Give me a hug. All right, go ahead.

Sonny: So, how was your social studies test?

Michael: Easy. I'm pretty sure that I aced it.

Sonny: Yeah?

Michael: Yeah, pretty sure.

Sonny: That's good, right?

Michael: Yeah.

Sonny: Yeah.

Michael: So, you sure you're not sad that Mom married Jax?

Sonny: She married Jax, she's happy -- you know, it makes me happy.

Michael: Jax is a nice guy, and he does cool stuff with us --

Sonny: Yeah, well, he loves you and Morgan, that's important. So that way, I know that if you're here with -- with Mom and Jax, that, you know, he'll be a good stepdad to you.

Michael: Hey, Dad, we're still going to see just as much of you, right?

Sonny: It's going to -- it's going to be the same. What are you talking about? You're going to see me a couple days a week, right?

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: And then I'm going to see you in between. Then the rest of the time you're going to be here --

Michael: Hey --

Sonny: As long as you and Morgan are happy, that's what makes me happy.

Michael: Thank you, Dad.

Sonny: You're welcome.

Michael: Oh --

Jason: Hey. What's going on?

Michael: Nothing.

Jason: Can you, uh, give us a few minutes? I got to talk business with your dad, all right?

Michael: Okay.

Sonny: Why don't you go in the kitchen and get some cookies.

[Michael chuckles]

Michael: Great idea.

Jane: No, no, no, you can't go in there.

Sonny: Uh, why not?

Luke: You know, the weeks leading up to your mother's breakdown are just burned into my memory, so many things I would do differently if I could.

Lulu: You don't have to talk about this, dad.

Luke: No, I want you to understand. You're thinking that if you change things, somehow she'll come back. And she won't, sweetheart, she can’t.

Luke: We were preparing to be remarried and she wanted Rick to give her away, so when he came to town, that's when everything went wrong. But after she remembered, that's when I started making all the mistakes.

Lulu: You are not the reason for Mom's breakdown, Scott is. He knew that she killed Theresa Carter and he and Rick covered it up for years.

Luke: Well, believe me, I'm the last one to defend Scott Baldwin. But it was me, sweetheart, really. When I found her in the attic, I did everything wrong, everything.

Lulu: No, you're being way too hard on yourself.

Luke: No, she was sobbing, she was rocking back and forth, and she was still holding the candlestick that she'd hit Rick with. She needed help, she needed professional help. But I thought, I'm the one who knows her, I'm the one who loves her, I'll have -- I'll protect her. So I didn’t go to the cops and I didn't get her a doctor. I just grabbed her and ran.

Lulu: You probably thought that she was going to be tried for murder, and not just for Rick Webber, but for Theresa Carter.

Luke: Well, I was afraid she wouldn't stand up under a murder but that doesn't excuse it. I just thought my great love, my great caring about your mother was all it would take, that I could bring her back, and was wrong. It really was a terrible mistake.

[Luke sighs]

Lulu: Mom loves you. Huh. She would never want you to blame yourself.

Amelia: Look, you could just tell this Todd Sullivan that you won't pay him off.

Sam: If I do that, he's -- he's going to go public with the information and "Everyday Heroes" is going to get canceled when the network finds out about this. Do you understand -- you will be out of a job, everybody here will be out of a job. And Jason -- Jason has forgiven me for so much, and he probably would forgive me for this, too, but it's going to change everything. Everything's going to be different.

Amelia: Okay, can I be blunt here? Jason's a gangster, he kills people. All you did was steal a little money.

Sam: No. That's wrong -- all I did was lie. Jason thinks that I told him everything about my past. How do you think he's going to feel when he finds out that I am this -- this woman with this hidden history of -- of being a con artist and conning rich -- rich, old men out of their money? Well, you know what?

[Phone rings]

Sam: I -- I have to tell Jason myself. I've got to do it. He can't find out from the public or the press or --

Amelia: I have a better idea.

Man: "Everyday Heroes."

Sam: I'd love to hear it.

Man: Sam, it's for you -- someone named Todd?

Amelia: I'll take it.

Sam: No, no, no.

Amelia: Sam, I've got it. Yes, is this is Mr. Sullivan?

Wes: Okay, boss, win me an Emmy.

Amelia: Okay, you claim that Sam McCall has swindled you of $500,000? I'll give you 300,000.

Wes: I hope you know what you're doing, Amelia.

Amelia: Huh -- that is all that you're going to get. Now, calls at the studio are recorded, so if you ever bother Sam or me again, we'll go straight to the police and you'll be arrested for extortion. Wise choice. Where do I send the money? You'll get it.

Sam: I can't believe you just did that.

Amelia: I'm just protecting my investment.

Sam: That's a lot of money.

Amelia: I'll just take it out of the production budget. And don't worry -- Jason never needs to know.

Sam: Thank you.

Amelia: Sam, we're in this together. I'm glad I could help.

Elizabeth: Oh, that storm's really coming in out there, so be careful, okay?

Lucky: You're the one that I'm worried about. You sure you're going to be okay? Maybe Audrey can come over here with Cam.

Elizabeth: I just talked to them and they're already settled in for the night.

Lucky: What about Emily?

Elizabeth: She's working the late shift. Now you're hovering, and you don't need to. I'm just going to curl up on the couch and go to sleep. I'll be fine, really.

Lucky: Okay. Will you call me the minute you feel a contraction or --

Elizabeth: I will.

Lucky: Or even if the baby kicks.

Elizabeth: Okay, goodbye, Lucky, goodbye.

Lucky: Okay, okay, all right, all right, all right.

Elizabeth: Okay. Bye.

Jason: What's wrong?

Jane: Well -- uh -- it's dinnertime and, uh, cookies will ruin his appetite.

Michael: You sound like Mom.

Jane: Well, as a matter of fact, it was Carly who told me to keep an eye on your cookie intake. You know, your brother will eat spinach and broccoli, but I have yet to see you touch a vegetable.

Michael: Yeah, but guess what -- Mom hates them, also.

Sonny: Looks like you got your work cut out for you, Jane.

Jane: I am up to the challenge.

Michael: Dad, you said you had business to take care of, right?

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Michael: And it's with Jason?

Sonny: Yeah.

Michael: Then you can both have dinner here.

Sonny: I can't tonight, but tomorrow I said I would, and I am. But if you guys are good, the weather's nice, I'll take you guys on the boat.

Michael: Awesome.

Sonny: You listen to Grandma Jane --

Michael: Fine.

Sonny: And thank you for taking care of them.

Jane: It's my pleasure.

Jane: Now, do you feel terribly bad about no cookies?

Michael: [As Jane] Horrible. Will never recover.

Jane: Well, then I have a surprise for you. I want you to go upstairs, and I'm going to bring you and your brother a special treat -- it'll be our secret.

Michael: [Normal voice] Thank you, Grandma Jane.

[Jane laughs]

Jane: Hurry up, now.

Jerry: Well, that was entertaining.

Jane: It was nerve-racking!

Jerry: Come on, where's your sense of adventure, Lady Jane?

Jane: Oh, well, you have always had a sense of adventure, but where did this streak of violence come from?

Emily: Patrick and Robin are working on the counteragent. Nikolas, they've identified some of the markers.

Nikolas: Well, just in case they don't succeed, I need to see my family -- Lucky, Lulu, Alexis and Spencer. And I -- I need to see them and tell them goodbye.

Emily: Listen, we have to believe that it's not going to come to that.

Nikolas: But if it does, will you raise my little boy?

Emily: Nikolas -- I am not going to accept that I'm losing you.

Nikolas: It's okay. It's okay. I've had a blessed life, Em. I have a wonderful family, a beautiful little boy --

[Emily sighs]

Nikolas: And you. I just wished I would've figured that out a little sooner.

Emily: Yeah -- when I was gawky and embarrassingly starry-eyed when we were --

Nikolas: I'm just so grateful that I finally woke up and realized what a beau-- a beautiful woman you are. I love you.

[Nikolas gasps]

Emily: Nikolas? Nikolas!

Jane: Put that thing away in your mother's presence!

Jerry: I have to confess, I'm very tempted to interfere for my brother with Michael Corinthos Jr. But the best way I can serve Jax is to leave this bloody town.

Jane: Oh, no, no, no, Jerry, please, please stay until Jax comes back. At least give him a chance to see you.

Jerry: Mum, Jax's reaction might not be quite as forgiving as you expect.

Jane: But we're family! It's unfair of you to vanish from Jax's life -- and he's done so much for you, and the sorry excuse that you're doing what's --

Jerry: I don't have a choice!

Jane: Yes, you do, Jerry! Oh, please, Jax wants you to meet Carly and the boys so much -- you're their uncle. This could be a -- a whole new start for you, Jerry.

Jerry: Hmm. You never give up on us, do you, Mum?

Jane: If your father were here, he wouldn't let me. I used to see him in your face. I don't see the resemblance anymore.

Jerry: Well, I still have your eyes, don't I, Mum?

Jane: Yes -- you and your brother both. Oh, please, Jerry, stay. Tell your brother what the mess you're in and he'll help you find a solution.

Sonny: So anyway, Michael and Morgan seem to be adjusting pretty well to Carly marrying Jax.

Jason: Are you okay with Jax's mom taking care of the kids?

Sonny: Well, it's a little weird, you know, going in there and seeing Jax's family in Carly’s living room with my sons. But it's part of the package, and Grandma Jane seems like, you know, she's decent.

Jason: Yeah, well, it's -- it's good that you're being supportive. It'll help the kids make the adjustment.

Sonny: Well, she chose Jax, whether I like it or not. What am I supposed to do? I got to live with it.

Jason: Yeah. As much as you don't like Jax, at least you know he'll treat your kids right.

Sonny: Kills me, to be honest with you, to see Jax with Carly and my sons. It makes me feel like he's taking my place. But if I fight it, I'm doing what I want, and not what's best for my children, and I got to be the good father and make it okay for my sons.

Jason: You're right, you got to do what’s best for your kids.

Sonny: And I also have to protect them. This threat with Alcazar has taken way too long. It's time to make him disappear.

Lorenzo: Hey.

Skye: Lorenzo, welcome home. How was your trip?

Lorenzo: Great. I checked into the neurology clinic in Caracas, walked right out the back, leaving enough of a paper trail to convince my rivals that I'm still suffering a little brain damage. And then I met with a few trusted advisors.

Skye: You sure that was wise?

Lorenzo: Yeah, the meeting was very productive -- restructured my finances, shored up my power base -- and very soon you and I will challenge Sonny and Jason for the northeast shipping lanes.

Skye: Lorenzo, you're powerful in your own right. Why make more trouble?

Lorenzo: Because they're a threat.

Skye: Are they? Or is it just you don't want them to win?

Lorenzo: I'll do whatever it takes to protect you and Lila Rae.

Skye: Are you protecting us, or your ego?

Lorenzo: Well, that was snide. I need you to trust me, Skye. I'm doing what's best for all of us.

Skye: I'm sorry. I -- I didn't mean to question you.

Emily: All right, your vitals are strong. Your lungs sound clear. How's the pain in your chest?

Nikolas: Better.

Emily: Okay, I'm going to get you something so you can relax.

Nikolas: No -- don't -- please don't go. Stay here.

Emily: Nikolas, you listen to me. We're going to get through this, okay? Patrick and Robin are going to make you well again.

Nikolas: I'm so sorry for the way I treated you through all of this. Pushing -- pushing you away for all those weeks, making you believe that I didn't love you. I know how much that hurt you.

Emily: I never stopped loving you. And I never will.

Robin: We think we have the counteragent.

Emily: Are there any risks?

Robin: Uh -- we think it's fairly safe, but, honestly, we don't have time to make definitive tests.

Nikolas: What are you waiting for? Give it to me.

Lulu: Lucky, is everything okay with the baby?

Lucky: Yeah, the baby and Elizabeth are fine.

Lulu: Oh.

Lucky: I was just here following up on a report. What's -- what's going on? Why are you here?

Lulu: Well, I -- I needed to see you, and I called dispatch and they said you were here but they didn't know why. So Elizabeth is at home?

Lucky: Yeah, I was going to keep her company, but she said I was hovering.

Lulu: You?

[Lucky laughs]

Lucky: Guilty as charged, you know? But I'm not going to worry because she is safe and sound, and that baby's not going to be born for a few days.

Lulu: Huh.

Lucky: So what's up?

Lulu: Well, I had a long talk with Dad, and he's desperate to make sure that Scott is not appointed as mom's legal guardian, so we need to do whatever we can to help.

Lucky: Okay, we will. You know why? We're a family. We're not going to let someone like Scott Baldwin interfere. You should probably come with me before the roads close -- you know, it's, like, raining like cats and dogs out there.

Jerry: I have to leave town before anyone else knows I'm here.

Jane: No, please listen to me!

Jerry: Mum, no. Jax is happily married at last, he has a family. He's better with me out of his life.

Jane: Let Jax decide that.

Jerry: Trust me; he's better off not knowing what I've done.

Jane: Jerry, don't disappear on us again!

Michael: Jerry? You're Jax's brother?

Lorenzo: Don't worry. This will all be over soon.

Skye: Oh, I just -- I want us to be safe.

Lorenzo: We will be. You and I are going to have long and happy lives together. We're going to raise our daughter, watch her grow up, get married --

Skye: Hmm.

Lorenzo: Have our grandchildren.

Skye: Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Lorenzo: I'm just looking forward to all of it, Skye.

Skye: Well, speaking of Lila Rae, want to see if she's awake? I'm sure she'll be thrilled to know her daddy's home.

Lorenzo: Okay.

[Lorenzo sighs]

Lorenzo: Hmm.

Lorenzo: Ah. Hmm.

Lorenzo: Ah.

Ric's voice: I came to find out if Sonny and Jason had made any overtures.

Skye's voice: You have to be more specific.

Ric's voice: Threats of retaliation, or an offer to extract you from a dangerous and untenable situation.

Skye's voice: If Sonny or Jason have decided to put a hit on Lorenzo, I doubt they'd come and ask me. But if they did, I'd help them.

Skye: Oh -- I forgot Lila's blanket. Is everything all right?

Sonny: The thunderstorm's going to be a good cover when we make our move against Alcazar -- the cops are going to be busy. There's going to be a lot of traffic, right, the neighbors are going to stay inside.

Jason: Yeah, I got the specs on Alcazar's house. I can get in without Skye even knowing I'm there.

Sonny: Good. We don't want any witnesses when Alcazar dies. Take care of it tonight.

Jason: On my way.

[Elizabeth gasps]

Elizabeth: Oh -- Oh, God. Oh, God, okay -- okay, hold on, baby. We're just going to get to the hospital. Hold on. Oh -- oh!

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Emily: Shouldn't the counteragent be taking effect by now? Nikolas!

[Monitor flatlines]

Sam: Are you going somewhere?

Elizabeth: Oh.

[Baby cries]
