Jane: You're a good man, Jax. You're a wonderful son. I hope Carly knows just how lucky she is.
Jax: You're my mother, you're biased.
Jane: Well, of course I am. Do you know, of all the things you've accomplished in your life, the thing I'm the most proud of is that you've always found a way to make family a priority. It's too bad Jerry couldn't do the same.
Jax: No, Mom, Jerry would be here if he could.
Jane: Oh, I think you give him far too much credit. I mean, you postponed your marriage, you went traipsing all across Siberia to bail him out of yet another catastrophe, and he can't make an effort to show up on your wedding day? Oh -- as much as I love Jerry, he is selfish to the bone and I'm afraid he's never going to change.
Carly: Okay, so, um, do you know where Jason went? Does Sam know where he is?
Spinelli: Yeah, he's -- Stone Cold left Samantha a note, but it just said not to worry.
Carly: Oh -- I'm supposed to be getting married on Friday. Jason picks now to disappear? The invitations have been sent out, the cake has been ordered, and I have to be at a rehearsal dinner in 20 minutes, and I have to cancel if I can't find Jason!
Lulu: Why? You are marrying Jax, not Jason.
Carly: He has to be there, okay, he has to be there. If he's not there, this marriage is doomed.
Lulu: Okay, I realize Jason's your best friend and you really want him to be at your wedding --
Carly: You don't understand, Lulu! The only marriage that I ever had that lasted more than a few months was my first wedding to Sonny, and Jason was there with me. He has to be standing right there next to me when I marry Jax. Oh, my God. I cannot believe he did this to me.
Spinelli: No, Stone Cold holds you in the highest esteem; he would never sabotage your impending nuptials. He wants you --
Carly: This is Sonny's fault.
Sonny: When you start at the police academy tomorrow, you are going to be a model recruit. You'll get there early, be the first to volunteer. As soon as you walk through those doors, you're going to go above and beyond what they expect. If they ask you to do 20 pushups, you do 30. If they ask to run a mile, you run three. Once you get on the street, you will play everything by the book, which means you will bust every criminal who crosses your path.
Coop: Then I guess you better not cross my path.
Nikolas: Look, I don't want you here. Why can't you understand that?
Emily: Because you're lying.
Nikolas: Look, I'm with Robin now. If you can't -- if you can't accept that, then I apologize.
Emily: Nikolas, you can deny it all you want, but I know you, and I can see that you're in trouble. So stop shutting me out and tell me what's going on.
Nikolas: Yes, would you please get the launch ready? Emily's on her way down. Thank you.
Emily: I love you. Why won't you let me help you?
Nikolas: If you do love me, then you stay the hell away from here.
Emily: Why are you so determined to push me away?
Nikolas: Look, I -- I hate seeing you hurt like this. So if you would just please go home --
Emily: Nikolas, what are you trying to protect me from? What, is there somebody in this house?
Alexis: Hi. I'm sorry. Am I interrupting something?
Nikolas: No, no, Emily was just -- she was just leaving.
Emily: No, I wasn’t.
Alexis: Look, I can see that you two are in the middle of something, so if you could just tell me where Mr. Brosnan is, I'll leave you two alone.
Emily: Mr. Brosnan?
Nikolas: He's a -- he's a business associate of mine. He's staying here while -- while we finalize a deal.
Alexis: I was out in the yard picking wildflowers and I had one of those dizzy spells, and so he was very nice and he helped me back to the -- to the house, and he's been quite gentlemanly ever since.
Emily: He seems like a good man.
Alexis: Well, he seems to be. Actually, I have a favor that I'd like to ask of him.
Nikolas: And what is that?
Alexis: I was -- I was going to ask him if he could escort me to Jax's wedding.
Nikolas: No. No, you can't take him as a date.
Alexis: Why not?
Jax: You know, I've spent a lifetime chasing after my big brother. I can honestly say that I don't think he's ever going to settle down because he likes the thrill of the chase too much.
Jane: Oh, he's been that way since he was a boy. He was always looking for new ways to challenge himself, and the greater the risk, the better he liked it.
Jane: Most children grow out of that in time -- you managed to -- but Jerry just seemed to get wilder as time passed. I pride myself on my independence and I try not to hover or meddle, but when I do let myself worry -- oh, I worry about Jerry. It's heartbreaking to me that nothing matters to him -- except possibly you.
Jax: You matter. Jerry loves you, you know that.
Jax: You just can't give up on him.
Jane: Hmm -- trust me, I've tried. Just when I'm ready to write him off for good, he shows up out of nowhere and charms his way back into my good graces. That's what I was hoping he was going to do today, that he would just show up at the wedding and surprise us, but it's not going to happen. He's much too caught up in his own adventures.
Jax: You know, Mom, I actually feel sorry for Jerry, because he doesn't know what he's missing. I mean, chasing after the next big payoff can be exhilarating, but it's just -- it's hollow in the end. And that's why I'm so grateful that I've found Carly.
Carly: Sonny only pretended to accept my marriage to Jax. He sent Jason away on purpose.
Spinelli: No, um, Mr. Corinthos, sir has -- has nothing to do with this, okay? Stone cold went out in the open road to seek solace for his secret pain.
Carly: There's no secret pain. Sonny deliberately sent Jason away to ruin my wedding.
Lulu: No, no, no, no, nothing is ruined yet; Jason can still make it back in time.
Carly: Sonny's never going to let that happen. He's going to make sure Jason stays wherever he is until after my wedding, Lulu!
Spinelli: I know Mr. Corinthos, sir has done some pretty sneaky things to keep you and the white knight apart, but this isn't one of them.
Carly: It's bad enough that he tricked me into marriage and then contested the divorce, but sending Jason away the day before my wedding is unforgivable -- excuse me.
Lulu: Uh -- what about the rehearsal?
Carly: Well, obviously I'm going to be late, because I have to go strangle Sonny, then go by the hotel to pick up Jax's rehearsal gift.
Lulu: Okay, wait, wait -- what if I pick up the gift, and -- and you explain to Sonny as calmly as possible that you need Jason back in time for the wedding?
Carly: I'll try. Thank you.
Spinelli: The Valkyrie has it all wrong. Mr. Corinthos, Sir did not send Stone Cold away.
Lulu: Yeah, you know that and I know that, but there's no point in trying to convince Carly when she already has her mind made up. Maybe you should try Jason on his cell, he might answer for you.
Spinelli: Who knows where Stone Cold could be? What if he doesn't get the message in time?
Lulu: Then Carly won't be marrying Jax.
Coop: What happens if I am ordered to arrest you or someone that works for you?
Sonny: You follow every order you're given. You don't cut anybody any slack, especially me. Otherwise, Ric's going to know that you're my plant. Once you're in place, I'll tell you what I need. It'd be maybe -- you know, maybe you're going to have to rat out a snitch, or have some incriminating files missing from the evidence room. But until you hear from me, you are just a recruit at the PCPD working very hard to uphold the law -- except you're working double-hard.
[Knock on door]
Max: You wanted to see me, boss?
Sonny: Yeah, I was just going over everything with Coop, what needs to be done. Okay, from now on, you don't speak to anybody in my organization except max. Since you two worked together at the Metro Court, it's not going to be a stretch for Ric to believe that you might've stayed friends after you left.
Max: Don't worry about that, Mr. C, I already warned Coop what would happen to him if he tried to double-cross you.
Coop: If anyone is going to screw this up, it's going to be Max.
Max: Boss, it is not too late -- change your mind. This guy needs to pay for helping Craig --
Sonny: Max, can I -- can -- this is -- this is Coop's big chance to prove he's more valuable to me alive.
Coop: I am clear on what you want --
Sonny: Okay. Mm-hmm.
Coop: And what happens to me if I don't deliver.
Sonny: Good. If I need to hear from you, then I will call you from my secure cell phone. It's got a dedicated line. Max and I are the only ones who know the number. Do you have any questions?
Sonny: Get out of here.
Maxie: What are you doing coming out of Sonny's office?
Alexis: I know why this might be a little embarrassing and difficult for me, but why are you having such a hard time with my asking Mr. Brosnan to Jax's wedding?
Nikolas: Because we're in the middle of a very important business deal. I can't just ask him to forego a conference call so he can go out on a date with my aunt.
Alexis: Well, you wouldn't have to -- I wouldn't want you to -- I'd ask him myself.
Nikolas: You don't -- you don't even know him.
Alexis: I am standing up at Jax's wedding -- I'm the best person, okay? I -- I don't know most of the people there, and -- and the ones that I do know I -- I don't think I like. In fact, the only person that I do know and like is Jax. He would be my first choice of courtesy date, but since he's the groom, he's a little busy, which leaves Mr. Brosnan.
Nikolas: There has to be someone else, Alexis, come on.
Alexis: I am a bald mother of three, soon to be divorced. There aren't a lot of men knocking down my door. Mr. Brosnan has seen me at my worst, and he hasn't run screaming into the night. So do me a favor, have a heart, be a good nephew, give him that.
Emily: What's the problem with Mr. Brosnan?
Nikolas: He's a business associate of mine --
Emily: No, it's more than that. Is he the reason you're pushing me away?
Nikolas: Emily, I'm in love with Robin now. Okay? So if you have just an ounce of dignity left in you, then you'll just -- then you just leave it that, okay?
Robin: We have to be more careful, Patrick, from now on, we have to stay away from each other at work. No sneaking off to the supply closet or a meeting on the roof between rounds. Yeah, I know, I know -- I hate this as much as you do. But we cannot afford to be seen together in public -- at least as long as Craig holds Nikolas' life in his hands. I know -- I miss you, too. Okay, I have to go. I have to get back to Wyndemere before Craig notices I'm gone. I'll call you when I can, all right? Bye.
Marty: And we'll lock this up for you.
Woman: Excuse me? Can you tell me where the nearest floral shop is?
Logan: What do I look like, lady?
Lulu: Uh -- the only security guard in a busy lobby. I would be happy to give you directions to the floral shop -- so that Mr. Hayes can keep his eyes on other guests. It's actually on the corner of Market and Fifth, so if you make a left out of this hotel, you go up a couple of blocks, it's on the corner.
Woman: Thanks for your help.
Lulu: You're welcome. If you don't want this job, why don't you quit instead of asking to get fired?
Spinelli: The Jackal regrets to interrupt your pilgrimage of secret pain, Stone Cold, but, um, the Valkyrie fears she's headed towards not-so-wedded bliss and is demanding your presence at the nuptials.
[Knock on door]
Spinelli: So please, please, please call me back as soon as you get this?
Spinelli: Uh --
Jax: Is Jason home?
Spinelli: Uh -- who wants to know?
Jax: Jasper Jacks, Carly’s --
Spinelli: You're the Valkyrie's white knight. Wow. Great. Uh, please, come in. Come in, come in. Uh -- ha! Most gracious greetings, o fiancé of the valued Valkyrie.
Jax: I'm sorry?
Spinelli: You're the one that swept fair Carly off her feet.
Jax: Well, I guess I am. And you're --
Spinelli: Oh -- I'm -- I'm the Jackal, Stone Cold's cyber assassin.
Jax: "Jackal"? Can I speak to Jason?
Spinelli: He's -- he's not here.
Jax: You know where I might find him?
Spinelli: He kind of took off on his motorcycle last night and has been incommunicado ever since, but have no fear. The Jackal is hot on his trail, and I will have him back here before you and the Valkyrie exchange your wedding vows.
Jax: I should've known that Sonny would try to sabotage the wedding.
Maxie: First you ditch me because you have stuff to do before you start at the academy tomorrow, and then I see you walk out of Sonny's office? What is going on?
Coop: I'm just getting a feel for the place.
Coop: Sonny runs his entire organization out of that room. I mean, if I, you know, get to know the layout and stuff, it might -- might give me an advantage.
Maxie: Did you really think you could just walk right in here past Sonny's guards, overhear him ordering a hit, and arrest him before you start at the police academy?
Coop: In the army, we call it a reconnaissance mission. Now, if I happen to get lucky while I'm here, well, even better.
Maxie: I have a feeling you'll be getting very lucky today.
Max: Mrs. C --
Max: What a pleasant surprise. You shouldn't probably go -- in right now.
Carly: I cannot believe that you would do this to me. After everything we said to each other -- we stood right here, and you said that you were going to let me go -- and then you turn around and try and ruin my wedding.
Sonny: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Carly: You sent Jason out of town. You know I can't marry Jax without him.
Spinelli: Why does everyone assume that Stone Cold left as part of some nefarious plot by Mr. Corinthos, Sir to keep you and the Valkyrie apart?
Jax: You know, I was really hoping that Jason would keep Sonny under control, but once again he chose to follow Sonny's orders. Why am I not surprised?
Spinelli: Look, Stone Cold has problems of his own -- he left town to clear his head -- it had nothing to do with your wedding.
Jax: Really? It's just a happy coincidence, is it? When you talk to Jason, tell him I said that he's a miserable excuse for a friend, will you?
Spinelli: Well -- wait -- dude, come on! Dude, what are you talking about? Stone cold is an awesome friend, okay, and there is nothing that he wouldn't do for the Valkyrie, okay? He risked his life to get into that hotel to save Carly and the rest of the hostages from the hostile one and his band of evildoers.
Jax: Wow. I don't know if anyone's ever mentioned this to you before, but you seem like a really confused kid -- probably spends a little too much time on the internet -- so I'm going to give you a quick little history lesson to get you up to speed, okay? Jason's first loyalty is to Sonny. It's always been like that and that's never going to change -- he proved that by leaving town a couple days before the wedding. Also, the two of them are playing on Carly's insecurities to try to get her to back out of the wedding, which is nothing new, either. Okay, am I making myself clear?
Spinelli: Look, if the Valkyrie were here listening to you thrash Stone Cold, you wouldn't be getting married. Carly and Jason are best friends.
Jax: If Jason is such a good friend, he'll be here to walk her down the aisle, won't he?
Sonny: Jason was having a hard time because of Alan’s death. He might've -- maybe he needed to get away for --
Carly: Jason wouldn't take off and leave me when I'm getting married. You did this. You sent him away to sabotage my wedding to Jax.
Sonny: You're going to believe what you want to believe.
Carly: No, my mistake was believing you, because you told me you wanted me to be happy.
Sonny: I want you to be happy!
Carly: Then bring Jason back!
Sonny: Well, I can't control Jason. If he says he's going to be at the wedding, he's going to be at the wedding.
Carly: Oh, and you are just hoping he stays away, aren't you?
Carly: Yes, you are, because that way I will be so freaked out that I can't go through with the ceremony, Jax will give up on me completely, and that'll leave the door wide open for you! Well, you know what? It's not going to happen this time, it's not, because I love Jax and I'm going to marry him, with or without Jason.
Sonny: I'm sure you will, Carly.
Carly: I don't need Jason.
Carly: You know why? Because there's no such thing as bad luck.
Carly: You did this on purpose.
Lulu: I don't get what you're doing here at the Metro Court. Why did you take this job if you have zero interest in being a security guard?
Logan: Sonny Corinthos got me this gig as a thank-you. It would've been a sign of disrespect if I -- if I hadn't taken it.
Lulu: And what's your deal with that anyway?
Logan: Huh. What do you mean?
Lulu: Uh -- well, you ran into the middle of a shootout and risked your life to protect Sonny.
Logan: Well, it never hurts to have someone powerful in your debt.
Lulu: Hmm -- nice try, but you didn't know Sonny was down there when the shooting first started.
Logan: So what?
Lulu: So what is your deal? Do you like being shot at?
Logan: Not particularly, but after a while, you get used to it. Don't get me wrong, I hated everything about being a soldier -- the rules, the politics, the deployments -- but I was good at it. At least now I get to make some decent money doing it.
Lulu: By working for Sonny?
Logan: That is the plan.
Lulu: Huh. Yeah, good luck with that.
Ric: Well. Did you have a nice lunch?
Ric: Oh, it's a shame -- Skye probably had to run off and take care of business in the middle of it, huh?
Lorenzo: Why are you following me?
Ric: You wouldn't happen to know about two men who tried to kill Jason Morgan and his girlfriend last night, would you?
Lorenzo: I don't -- I don't know what you're talking about.
Ric: I think the gunmen there were Venezuelan, and that is your territory. So you tell me, if you didn't order the hit, who did?
Nikolas: I'm really sorry that -- that it had to come to this, but -- but -- but it's -- it's over. Emily, I -- I thought that we could -- we could get back to the way we were, but I don't -- I just don't think that we can do that.
Emily: Why not?
Nikolas: "Why not?" "Why not?" Because -- because I don't love you anymore. And it doesn't matter how many times you come here, it just -- it just won't change my mind on that.
Emily: Nikolas, you're deliberately trying to hurt me and you would never do that -- that's how I know you're lying.
Robin: Stop deluding yourself. Nikolas is telling you the truth. How many times do you have to hear it -- or see us together -- to know that he is telling you the truth? You can't keep showing up here trying to convince him that something's wrong with him just because he's not in love with you anymore. It's pathetic and it needs to stop.
Robin: I know that this frail, pitiful act normally works for you, but Nikolas isn't buying it this time. So it's better for you to just leave now before you embarrass yourself any further.
Emily: The only one playing the frail, pitiful game is you, Robin. You know, when this all started, I was willing to make some allowances for you because I saw what you went through in that hotel. I was there -- remember? -- Pleading with Craig to save your life. I can't believe you're both doing this.
Jerry: Bravo. Bravo. Although, I'm not sure that this was your most inspired performance. But I'm afraid I'm going to have to give the award to intern Emily. She gives new meaning to the proverb "hell hath no fury," etc., etc. I have to wonder, though, how on earth was she prompted to come back and make an attempt I mean, you've already broken her heart, and there was no reason for Emily to believe that she had a chance with you, so -- unless -- unless you and Paddy boy slipped up at work and gave something away.
Ric: "Ochoa," "Cortez" -- any of those names ring a bell?
Lorenzo: Why would they?
Ric: Well, I don't see why they would -- I mean, you've only been running product for them through South America for years. See, the thing that bothers me, Mr. Alcazar, is, how did these men all of a sudden show up on the set of Sam McCall’s new show and riddle it with bullets?
Lorenzo: I told you I don't know anything. Why can't you just leave me alone, Ric?
Ric: If you want to keep playing the village idiot, that's fine, Alcazar. Sonny and Jason are still going to come after you. Instead of standing up like a man, you choose to hide behind Skye and let her run your business while she walks around with a target painted on her back.
Lorenzo: Skye is the mother of my child. Why would I want to put her in that position?
Ric: You are the one who put her there, pal.
Lorenzo: No. I begged Skye to take Lila Rae and leave town. She wanted to stay.
Lorenzo: She stayed here because she wanted to protect me, see me through this recovery. You know, I don't remember a lot since your brother shot me in the head, but I do know one thing. You're jealous of your brother, and you always have been. So don't come here pretending like you are on the right side of law and order, when you and I both know you want Sonny and Jason dead as much as I do.
Coop: Hey, uh, what are you doing? You're supposed to be watching the lobby.
Logan: I am.
Maxie: Uh, excuse me; you were eavesdropping on Alcazar and D.A. Lansing.
Logan: Why would I do that?
Maxie: I don't know -- to get information to score points with Sonny?
Sonny: Can I speak with Sam McCall? It's Sonny Corinthos. Do you know when she'll be in?
Man: Sam is taping on location all day.
Sonny: Do you have any idea what kind of -- what number I can reach her at?
Man: I'm sorry; I can't give out that information.
Sonny: Well, can you put somebody on the phone that can?
Man: Sonny Corinthos is trying to reach Sam. He wants a location number.
Amelia: Well, tell him we can't give out that information.
Man: I did. He wants to talk to you.
Amelia: He can't -- I'm in a meeting.
Man: Mr. Corinthos, Ms. Joffe is in a meeting right now. She's going to have to call you back.
Man: I think you just ticked off the wrong person.
Amelia: Sonny Corinthos doesn't scare me. Oh –
Jax: Oh, I'd like you to meet Alexis Davis. Alexis, this is Reverend Wilson, he'll be officiating the ceremony.
Alexis: Unless, of course, you change your mind.
Jax: That's funny.
Alexis: Just kidding. Hi. I'm Alexis, I'm Jax's best person. I know that's very unconventional, which is why I accepted.
Lulu: Oh -- um -- have they started yet?
Bobbie: No, no, not yet.
Lulu: Oh, good. I -- I was stuck in traffic and Carly wanted me to pick up this rehearsal gift for Jax and I didn't know if I was going to make it on time.
Jane: Well, where is the bride-to-be?
Lulu: Um -- she's running some errands.
Bobbie: What errands?
Lulu: Um, you know, the usual pre-wedding stuff. I'm sure she'll -- she'll be here soon.
Bobbie: Lulu, I know the look. What's going on?
Lulu: Carly found out that Jason might not be at the wedding.
Jane: Is that a problem?
Lulu: Jason is supposed to be Carly's best person, and he's sort of on the road.
Jane: Well, can't she find someone else to fill in?
Bobbie: No, it's not that simple. You see, Carly thinks Jason is her good-luck charm, so if he's not here to walk her down the aisle, I'm not sure she'll go through with the ceremony.
Jane: Oh, you can't be serious?
Lulu: Having Jason here means a lot to Carly.
Carly: Hi. I'm sorry I'm late. I -- I couldn't figure out what to wear.
Jax: Well, you look wonderful.
Carly: Thank you. Hi.
Jax: Shall we get started?
Rev. Wilson: Yes. Carly, you'll start back there, and the family can be seated here.
Rev. Wilson: Will there be someone escorting you down the aisle?
Carly: Uh -- there was supposed to be, but there's been a change of plans.
Spinelli: I'll be walking Carly down the aisle today. Ahem. Let's do this.
Robin: Patrick and I barely spoke yesterday at work, and when we did we were at each other's throats. Neither of us gave Emily any indication that my relationship with Nikolas is a lie.
Jerry: Right. Why was she here, then?
Nikolas: Because she has faith in me, not that I'd expect you to understand.
Jerry: Oh, but I do.
Nikolas: Huh -- yeah.
Jerry: Yes, I do. I know that you and Emily are soul mates being kept apart by the most cruel of circumstances, but that was your choice, Nikolas. I was perfectly willing to involve Emily from the start, but you wouldn't hear it.
Nikolas: I was trying to protect her.
Jerry: And your good friends Robin and Paddy are paying the price. You sacrifice them so you could save your beloved little Emily. That hardly seems fair, doesn't it, darling?
Robin: I'm -- I'm sorry about Emily, that is not your fault.
Nikolas: No, it's okay. It's not your fault that you're stuck here with this psychopath.
Jerry: Hmm. Isn't it about time that he let bygones be bygones?
Jax: I didn't realize the joker was part of the wedding party.
Carly: Jackal -- it's the jackal.
Spinelli: I came in to fill in for Stone Cold -- who will most certainly be at the wedding tomorrow.
Jax: "Stone Cold," I think, is -- is Jason.
Carly: I know. Yeah. Okay, you know what? I don't need Jason here, I'm okay. So you can go back to the apartment, put the suit back --
Lulu: Uh -- Spinelli is only trying to help. If you send him home now, he's going to be crushed -- just look at him.
Carly: Okay, fine. Guess what -- you get to be Jason.
Spinelli: Oh, righteous. Okay, uh -- where -- ahem -- where do you want me?
Rev. Wilson: If you'll join Carly in the back of the room, we'll begin.
Carly: What are you doing?
Spinelli: I'm -- I'm trying to take up as -- you know, as much room as Stone Cold does.
Carly: Okay, I need to be able to walk beside you. Okay? Okay.
Spinelli: Say no more. I --
Carly: Okay. Right.
Spinelli: We don't -- I'm sorry.
Carly: Just walk. Okay. Thank you.
Rev. Wilson: All right, then I'll start the ceremony by saying "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God to join this man and this woman together in holy matrimony." Then I'll explain a little bit about the covenant of marriage, and ask the congregation "if anyone here can show just cause why these two people cannot be joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace --"
Rev. Wilson: "Forever hold their peace."
Alexis: No comment.
Carly: Why don't you just say it? I'd rather you say it now than tomorrow.
Alexis: All right, I'm worried that you're marrying Jax and you might still be in love with Sonny.
Sonny: Hell of a meeting, wasn't it?
Amelia: This is a closed set.
Sonny: Yeah, well, you should talk to the guy who let me in at the front door. I'm looking for Sam.
Amelia: Oh, well, I believe that my stage manager already told you that we don't give out that kind of information.
Sonny: Well, I -- I need to get in contact with Jason. I know Sam’s probably the only one who can, so where is she?
Amelia: I'm afraid I can't help you.
Sonny: What you mean, "can't"?
Amelia: Well, as Sam’s producer, I feel it's in her best interest if Jason stays gone.
Coop: So why do you want to impress Sonny Corinthos?
Logan: He runs this town. You get in good with a guy like that, you're set for life.
Maxie: I knew it -- you are exactly the type of guy who wants to become a gangster.
Logan: I am the type of guy who wants money and power. Sonny is on the fast track at getting both.
Coop: Hey, once you are in that life, there's only one way out.
Logan: Well, we're all going to die someday, Cooper. I'd like to do it with a little cash in my pocket.
Coop: You get a chance to start over. Why go and screw that up?
Logan: Come on, Coop. You got me this gig here, but I never planned on making it a career. You may be willing to trade one uniform for another, but I'm not. I am through living by other people's rules.
Coop: Well, then you probably don't want to go to work for a guy who will shoot you if you don't do what he tells you. I got to go to registration.
Logan: If you're going to tell me that there's more to life than money --
Maxie: I get what it's like to want money and power, to be willing to do just about anything to get it. But Coop is right. You have to be careful, because sometimes you don't realize you've gone too far until it's too late.
Carly: If you are not here to support and participate in our wedding, there's the door, and, Alexis, don't let it hit you on the --
Alexis: In court, that would be referred to as a redirect, which is an attempt to draw the jury's attention --
Jax: Okay, you know what? Alexis, you're not helping.
Alexis: Friends don't let friends marry women who might be in a dysfunctional bond with another man.
Lulu: Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but Carly is -- is only upset because Jason's not here.
Spinelli: But he -- he will be, and until then, the Jackal offers his support.
Alexis: But what if she is not upset about Jason not being here and she's upset that Sonny is not here --
Alexis: Declaring his undying love?
Jax: Okay, you know what? Maybe you really shouldn't be part of this wedding, if that's the way you feel.
Carly: Yeah. Bye. Leave.
Alexis: Okay, I'll be good. I will.
Jax: I want you to support me, and believe me when I tell you that I am in love with Carly, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
Carly: And I feel the same.
Rev. Wilson: And this would be the part where I say, "Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love, honor, and cherish, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, and forsaking all others for as long as you both shall live?" If you agree, your response will be "I do."
Jax: I do.
Sonny: All right, let me -- let me explain something to you, all right? When Sam first met Jason, she didn't have a dime to her name. He took her in, gave her a place to live -- he even offered to raise her baby.
Amelia: Don't you mean "your baby"?
Sonny: Jason was the one who took care of Sam after our baby was stillborn. He loved her; he supported her unconditionally, so I'm missing the part where Jason is not good enough for Sam.
Amelia: Well, circumstances change, and so do people.
Amelia: Sam may have been content in playing a supporting role in Jason's life, but Sam has the potential to become a star. She can make her own way by doing her own thing. Now, the quickest way for her to kill her career is to have her gangster boyfriend hanging out and getting into shootouts on the set of her new show.
Sonny: Is that what you told Jason?
Amelia: In so many words.
Sonny: You know what? I -- I couldn't figure out why Jason would leave the day before Carly's wedding, and he would never do that to her unless it was best for Sam. Is that the deal?
Amelia: It is.
Sonny: Oh, it is? Maybe you -- you don't know Sam like you think you do.
Amelia: Then tell me about her. I -- what was Sam like when you first met her? What, did she have a job? Um, could she support herself?
Amelia: Well, if Sam was broke when she first went to live with Jason then --
Amelia: I'm assuming that means that you were paying her way prior to that time?
Sonny: Where are you going with this?
Amelia: Oh, I'm just curious. Good luck on finding Jason. It's very generous of you to take an interest in your ex-wife's wedding.
Jax: I want to make a toast. To my beautiful fiancée, Carly. You came into my life and turned it upside down. You're my best friend. But more importantly, you're the woman that I've been searching for my entire life, and I can't wait to be your husband tomorrow.
Carly: Well, I thank God for you every day. Your love has changed me, and nothing -- nothing is going to keep us apart.
Jerry: Some people are too romantic for their own good, and I believe our Nikolas belongs in that category. After all, he insisted on pushing Emily away, and now he's unable to deal with it.
Robin: Well, you're not helping him -- you provoke him every single chance that you get.
Jerry: I simply enjoy testing people's limits. You know, I find there are very few people available in this world that are truly capable of putting another person's good ahead of their own.
Robin: That's true. Nikolas is one of those people. He would die before he'd let anything happen to Emily.
Jerry: What's the point of dying for love, to save someone who's going to die, too? Nikolas needs a lesson to take focus on the long-term objective.
Robin: So what is your long-term objective?
Jerry: Why, the same as you, darling Robin -- to live happily ever after with the people I care about -- and hell to anyone who gets in my way!
Nikolas: Emily -- you shouldn't be here.
Emily: I'm not going to let you push me away.
Nikolas: Don't -- I don't want to be with you.
Emily: You don't mean that, Nikolas, I know you! You would never hurt me like this without a reason, so please, just tell me, what is going on?
Nikolas: Don't -- don't --
Emily: Whatever it is, I can handle it. All you have to do is let me in. Please, Nikolas, what are you trying to protect me from?
Nikolas: Okay. Mr. Brosnan is Mr. Craig. He -- he broke in a few weeks ago, injected me with a poison, and now I have to get a counteragent every 24 hours or I die.
Emily: Oh, my God. Okay -- uh --
Nikolas: You have to --
Emily: Nikolas, we've got to get you to the hospital --
Nikolas: No, listen to me. There's nothing they can do for me, Emily. Robin's run several tests trying to isolate the poison, they can't -- the only reason I'm alive is because of Craig’s counteragent.
Emily: Why is he doing this to you?
Nikolas: Because he wants a new identity, and I'm the only one who can help him get it.
Emily: Nikolas, you should've told me.
Nikolas: I couldn't -- I couldn’t. He said he would kill me and you.
Emily: Okay, I don't care how dangerous he is. I am not going to leave you alone --
Nikolas: Emily, there is nothing you can do for me. You have to get out of here.
Emily: Nikolas, I love you. We're going to get through this together.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Emily: Will I see you at the wedding?
Alexis: I assumed you were unavailable to escort me to Jax's wedding.
Jax: It's a very special day -- I won't allow anything to go wrong.
Sonny: Don't do this, Carly. Don't go through with the wedding.
Carly: How can I do this?
