Michael: When can we go to the hospital to see Dad?
Carly: Well, he's not going to be there much longer. They only wanted to keep him there last night to make sure he was okay.
Michael: So, when can we go back to his house, because he -- he may need us.
Carly: The second Morgan comes back with Leticia from the park, we'll go see your dad, but I need to talk to you about something, okay?
Carly: Morning. Hey, there. Perfect timing.
Carly: Listen, Michael. We need to talk to you about some things, okay? Can you sit down, please. Hi.
Michael: So what's going on?
Jax: Well, your mom and I are getting married.
Carly: Yes, we are. We're getting married. I know we said that before, but this time it's really going to happen.
Michael: But you're married to Dad.
Sonny: Thank you for coming by.
Amelia: Well, you said it was important and strongly implied it wasn't a request. So, why am I here?
Sonny: Well, um. Sam's new career has become an embarrassment to me and my wife.
Amelia: Well, no offense, but if you're having problems with your wife, you should be talking with Mr. Jacks, not me.
Spinelli: Have -- have you seen Stone Cold this morning.
Sam: He was gone before I woke up.
Spinelli: Gone? Uh -- gone where?
Sam: I think he went for a ride.
Spinelli: On his motorcycle?
Sam: Oh, no, Jason's --
Spinelli: He's going to kill me.
Jason: Just say it.
Sam: Okay, you're right. We may as well get this over with.
Spinelli: Forgive me, Stone Cold. I made a massively huge mistake.
Luke: Has Scott Baldwin notified you of his asinine petition he filed to try and get guardianship of Laura?
Lainey: This morning -- right after he saw Laura.
Luke: Okay, well, I want him barred from any contact with her. He doesn't visit, he doesn't call in for updates -- nada.
Lainey: This is a legal matter, and until it's resolved, Shadybrook can't limit his access.
Luke: Well, he has no legal grounds to be in contact with Laura.
Lainey: I'm sorry, Mr. Spencer, but neither do you.
Nikolas: So the paperwork on your new visa can't be completed until you establish residency in France. I suggest you go to Paris yourself and apply in person if you'd like to expedite the process.
James: And leave you to fend for yourself? That hardly seems fair, doesn't it?
Nikolas: I'll survive. Just leave me with an adequate supply of the counteragent, thank you.
James: Oh, so Dr. Scorpio could try and reverse-engineer it while I'm gone?
Nikolas: You said that wasn't possible.
James: It's not.
Nikolas: Well, then I don't see the problem. Why would she waste her time if that wasn't actually possible?
James: Oh, hello.
Alexis: Hi. Is this a bad time?
James: No, no, no, we were discussing some tedious but necessary details about our business deal. Actually, it's time for me to take a break. Enjoy your visit with your aunt.
Alexis: Actually, I'm here to see you.
James: Oh, really?
Alexis: I wanted to thank you for your help.
Nikolas: What -- what help?
James: Oh, did I fail to mention that I saved your aunt's life?
Lainey: When Laura committed herself, she named Nikolas as her legal guardian.
Luke: I thought Baldwin was lying.
Lainey: It's clearly indicated on her patient form, written in her own handwriting.
Luke: I didn't pay attention to what she was writing. I just assumed that she would want me to make any decisions for her.
Lainey: Maybe she was trying to spare you.
Luke: What about Lucky and Lulu?
Lainey: Laura's three children were named joint custodians the first time she was admitted as a patient, but when she returned in November, she indicated that Nikolas should be solely responsible for her care.
Luke: No, no -- she was already starting to slip away again. She had no idea what she was signing here.
Lainey: Laura made a conscious choice to exclude not only you, but also Lucky and Lulu from her guardianship. Laura wanted Nikolas and no one else to make decisions for her, and the hospital has to honor those wishes.
Carly: Michael, we talked about this before. I only married your father because he was in trouble. He's not in trouble anymore, so I'm gong to get a divorce, and I'm going to marry Jax, like we planned.
Michael: So you don't love him anymore, right?
Carly: I'm always going to care about your father, but some people should not be married, and your father and I are better parents and people when we're just friends.
Jax: Yeah, you know what? Things aren't really going to change that much, you know. You'll still see your dad. We'll still be friends -- I'll just be living here.
Michael: If I have to have a stepfather, I'd want you, but my parents still love each other, and no matter what my mom says, my dad will never let them have a divorce.
Carly: Oh, Michael?
Jax: That's okay, just -- just let him -- let him go.
Carly: I'm sorry.
Jax: It's okay. He just needs time to adjust. He'll come around.
Carly: I hope so, I do. Because I know we can be happy -- if we just had the chance.
Jax: Come here.
Sonny: My wife gets enough grief being married to an alleged racketeer without having to read headlines about how I bought my supposed mistress a career.
Amelia: I didn't write that article.
Sonny: Yeah, but you benefit from it, because you get all kinds of publicity for your new TV show, right?
Amelia: And I'll get what I can get.
Sonny: Yeah, is that why you convinced Sam to talk about the shooting?
Amelia: How do you know that wasn't Sam's idea? Maybe she wanted to clear up any confusion.
Sonny: Sam knows better than to talk to the press.
Amelia: You mean, she's been trained to keep her mouth shut when it comes to her boyfriend's business.
Sonny: Sam chose to involve herself with a man who can't afford to be in the public eye, so unless you want to lose your new host before the show starts, I would advise you to tell Sam not to talk about her private life -- at least when it comes to me and Jason. Keep that out of the press.
Amelia: Look, if Sam wants to talk to the press --
Patrick: Sorry to interrupt, but I need to run some more tests.
Sonny: Yeah, my head's kind of hurting anyway, so Ms. Jaffe was just ready to leave.
Spinelli: I wanted to win the Blond One's heart the same way you won fair Samantha's -- you know, by impressing her with my secret pain? So I -- I went to the bluffs --
Sam: Spinelli, please, can this wait? I really need to talk to Jason, please. Please, please? Okay, first of all, I'm really sorry. I thought I would be able to stay out of the press with you and Sonny, but I -- I thought I would be able to shift the focus from the shooting onto the new show, and, obviously I was -- wrong.
Jason: You can't control what they write. It's not your fault.
Sam: Yeah, I know, Jason, but I never thought it would be on the front page of the newspaper that I am Sonny's mistress and that he paid and funded my career?
Jason: Okay, they're going to write what they want to write. I just hope when your show starts that they can, you know, focus on that.
Sam: No, I understand that, but as soon as Sonny finds out about this, he's going to be furious.
Jason: Probably, but there's nothing you can do about it. Look, I'm going to talk to him, okay? But this can't happen again.
Sam: It won't. I promise you that. I have to go.
Sam: I'll see you tonight.
Sam: Okay. Whew.
[Door opens and closes]
Spinelli: Your -- your thoughts and motives are becoming clearer to the Jackal.
Jason: I don't want to hear about the Jackal.
Spinelli: You're not allowing yourself to get mad at fair Samantha, because you feel guilty about not telling her you're the father of the innocent one.
Sonny: What -- what was that about?
Robin: Um -- Patrick and I broke up. He's having a hard time realizing that it's really over.
Sonny: You sure that it is?
Robin: Yeah, I'm -- uh -- I'm with Nikolas now. There's nothing that Patrick can say or do to change that, and I wish he would just accept it.
Sonny: You're with Nikolas now? Hmm. Well, sometimes it's a lot harder than you think.
Jax: We need to talk.
Sonny: What about?
Jax: Your divorce from Carly.
Alexis: Mr. Brosnan is exaggerating -- he didn't actually save my life. It's -- it's --
James: Well, your aunt was suffering from dehydration. Had I not taken her to the hospital, it's very likely she would've passed out or something much more serious.
Alexis: That's a bit over the top, don't you think?
Alexis: Well, no point in debating a hypothetical. I just really want to thank you for putting Kristina at ease while I was with Dr. Trent.
James: Oh, yes, I taught Kristina a card game to pass the time, you know.
Alexis: Chemin de fer. Kristina was very impressed. She didn't know what she liked more -- his ability to deal with the cards, or his ability to use all these different voices. What an unusual talent.
James: Well, you know, I was trying to take Kristina's mind off your illness.
Alexis: You did a wonderful job --
James: Thank you.
Alexis: And apparently you think so, too. I do, though. I appreciate it. I appreciate everything that you did to put Kristina’s mind at ease.
James: And how is her mother feeling?
Nikolas: Better, obviously, but -- but no need to push. So why don't you go home and rest while he and I finish up, and I'll come by later.
Scott: Well, put on your best suit, Nikolas. I'm taking you to court to get guardianship of your mother.
Tracy: The best thing that Luke can do is let Laura go and move on with his life, or at the very least, let Nikolas be the one to fight it out in court with Scott.
Alan: That would be a sensible choice, but I have never known Luke to be particularly sensible, especially when it comes to Laura.
Tracy: Sometimes I wonder why I bother.
Alan: Why? Because you love the guy. You've been waiting for him your entire life. I mean, he's the one guy who can give you a run for your money. With all his faults, Tracy, you're never going to leave him. And when I think of all the times you criticized me for staying with Monica --
Tracy: Oh, please! Don't compare Monica to Luke.
Alan: Really? He cheats on you, she cheated on me. He steals your money, she threw me out of the house that I gave he rocks your world, Tracy, just like Monica rocked mine. It's poetic justice.
Tracy: Bad day?
Luke: When Laura readmitted herself to Shadybrook, she didn't want me as her guardian. She named Nikolas.
Tracy: I know.
Robin: I get it, okay? I hurt you, and I've ruined any chance of you ever risking a committed relationship ever again. And for that, I am deeply sorry. But this is a hospital and we're doctors, and if you can't separate our professional relationship from our personal relationship, then we're --
Patrick: What do you want, Robin?
Robin: Going to have a problem.
Patrick: You want me to quit? You [don’t know] leave you know, maybe I'll take Emily, then you and Nikolas can run around without having to feel guilty about it.
Amelia: Oh, excuse me, Stan?
Stan: Hey. What's up?
Amelia: What kind of influence do you have with Sonny Corinthos?
Stan: Oh, I've been working for Sonny for several years now, so --
Amelia: Would you say he values your opinion?
Stan: Well, I'd like to think so.
Amelia: Well, then maybe you can explain to him that in order for Sam's show to be a success, people need to watch.
Amelia: For that to happen, she needs to generate publicity. I mean, it's not my fault if Sam's history with Sonny or his chosen line of work translates into a few colorful headlines along the way.
Stan: Right, right. Look, Amelia, that's not really my expertise area, so --
Amelia: So you're refusing to help me?
Stan: Let me -- let me just see what I can do, all right?
Amelia: We closet Marxists need to stick together.
Epiphany: Don't even think about it.
Stan: Look don't start lecturing me. Please don't. Don't.
Epiphany: Look, I will stop lecturing you when you stop chasing after white girls.
Stan: What? Look, Mom, just because your story turned out that way, it doesn't mean that mine has to. So would you please stop doing that to me?
Spinelli: The Valkyrie is in need of some assistance? I'll come back.
Carly: Thanks, Spinelli. That's very thoughtful of you.
Spinelli: Uh, it's okay. Huh. I -- I got something I got to take care of anyway -- away from here.
Carly: Why is he so weird and nervous?
Jason: He took my bike out without asking, put a dent in it, and hasn't managed to confess.
Carly: How do you do that?
Jason: Do what?
Carly: Wait people out instead of just confronting them when they mess up?
Jason: He's going to tell me when he's ready to tell me.
Carly: Yeah, and until then, he's going to be completely freaked out. Do you know how many times I twisted myself in knots gearing up to confess something to you that you already knew?
Jason: And that's why you're here now -- to tell me that you're marrying Jax.
Carly: Sonny told you.
Jason: Yeah. How are the boys taking this?
Carly: Jax and I told Michael. And Morgan -- you know, he's young, but he adores Jax, so he'll be fine. Michael took it hard. He took it really hard, and you know, it'd be a lot easier if Sonny would give me the divorce.
Jason: Carly, please, I --
Carly: No, Jason, you -- please, please? I need you to talk Sonny into signing the papers, please.
Sonny: Legally, I'm Carly's husband -- at least, for the next few months.
Jax: Why do you insist on dragging this out?
Sonny: I'm just waiting for Carly to change her mind, Jax.
Jax: Yeah. After what you and Carly have been through, I understand that you'd want to fight to the bitter end, but I'm asking you to stop for the sake of our children.
Sonny: First of all, they're my children, not yours.
Jax: When Carly and I get married, Michael and Morgan will be my stepsons, and that's not a responsibility I take lightly. I want what's best for them.
Sonny: You want to know what would make my kids happy? Getting their family back together.
Jax: Carly made her choice. I think it's time for you to accept that. In spite of what you may think of me, I only want what's best for Carly and the boys.
Sonny: And you know what, Jax? So do I.
Jax: Then give her the divorce she wants.
Luke: How long have you known that Laura chose Nikolas over me as her guardian?
Tracy: When she relapsed and you took off, I went up to Shadybrook to make sure all the necessary arrangements had been made, and I was told by the staff that anything regarding Laura's care would have to be run through Nikolas, as she had appointed him her guardian.
Luke: And you didn't think I might be interested in this information?
Tracy: Well, it was a non-issue until Scott Baldwin showed up.
Luke: I don't get it. Why would she do this? We were so close before she slipped away. Why would she choose Nikolas over me?
Tracy: Because she wanted to leave you with the memories of who she was as a woman, not the patient you were going to have to take care of.
Luke: How do you know?
Tracy: Because that's what I would do. Laura and I are nothing alike, but any woman would want to save herself the indignity of that and save the man she loves that pain.
Luke: Well, it doesn't matter what her intentions were, I'm the one that has to protect her from Baldwin.
Scott: As soon as you sign over guardianship of your mother, you can get back to talking to your aunt and -- who's he?
James: "He" is Mr. James Brosnan, a business associate of Mr. Cassadine's. And since this is obviously a personal matter, I should be going.
Scott: No, don't bother. This won't take long, just a signature here.
Alexis: Put it away, he's not signing anything.
Scott: Well, fine, I'll see you two in court. I've already petitioned for guardianship.
Alexis: On what grounds?
Scott: On the -- he's not king care of his mother.
Alexis: He has sent for specialists from all over the world to ensure his mother gets state-of-the-art treatment.
Scott: Well, that's -- it's all useless as long as Luke comes and goes whenever he wants.
Nikolas: Laura loves Luke, she trusts him, that's why.
Scott: He tricked her into this phony wedding and you didn't lift a finger to stop it. Obviously you don't have your mother's best interests at heart here.
Alexis: No judge is going to transfer Laura's guardianship from her son over to a man she was married to decades ago. It's absurd, you're absurd, and you're not going to win.
Scott: Sign it, or you're going to lose more than you bargained for here.
Man: Amelia called -- she's running late. We can get started as soon as she gets here.
Sam: Okay. Thank you.
Carly: I need to talk to you, Sam.
Man: This is a closed set. You're going to have to leave.
Carly: Really? Because we can talk about this here, or I can go outside in front of the press. They'll want to know all kinds of dirt on your new star here, and I'll tell them everything I know about Sam.
Sam: Ahem. It's okay. Would you please give us a minute? Well?
Carly: I'm about to marry Jax as soon as my divorce with Sonny is final. But in the meantime, I don't appreciate the press saying that my current husband bought his mistress a career, and I really don't appreciate my kids being bombarded by reporters the second they walk out the door.
Sam: Carly, I never thought the press would spin things this way, okay?
Carly: You can be as famous as you want, but it's not going to come at the expense of my family. It's not fair to them, and it's certainly not fair to Jason.
Sam: Well, Jason understands what happened.
Carly: Okay. You need to figure out your publicity. Because if you don't, you're going to have to make a choice -- the job or Jason.
Sonny: I want you to reroute all the shipments, because we can't land anything, especially with all the press going on.
Stan: Look, I think the best thing you can do, Sonny, is just refuse to comment.
Sonny: Okay, Stan --
Stan: If you don't make a big deal, it won't be a big deal.
Sonny: Don't tell me -- what, you're going to tell me how to manage my P.R. now?
Jason: I need to speak with -- with Sonny, please.
Stan: I'll take care of the shipments, all right?
Sonny: Thank you, Stan. First of all, Sam's got to take out a restraining order, or quit the show, because if we don't --
Jason: I'm not here about Sam.
Sonny: Okay, I can tell why you're here. Carly asked you to come here to make me sign the divorce papers, am I right?
Jason: I pressured Carly into marrying you. It's only fair that I -- that I ask you to sign the papers and give her up.
Robin: Listen, I don't expect or want you to leave town.
Patrick: No, you just want me to go on like nothing happened.
Robin: I just want you to act professional when we're at the hospital.
Patrick: Having the lab run a priority test for somebody who isn't a patient -- that's -- that's not professional.
Epiphany: If you two care so much about what happens to these patients in this hospital, why don't you both go back to work?
Patrick: That'll be a lot easier if Dr. Scorpio would stop questioning every decision I make.
Robin: Oh, please -- you and I both know there's no reason to keep Sonny in the hospital. You're just doing it to get a rise out of me.
Epiphany: Look, I don't have time to be tripping all over your relationship drama. So, both of you, take it elsewhere. Now!
Robin: Fine. You're making this a lot more difficult than it has to be. Workplace relationships end all the time.
Patrick: This wasn't a "workplace relationship."
Patrick: This was "I love you forever" one day, and "I'm moving in with Nikolas" the next.
Robin: We've been over this. I shouldn't have to explain myself over and over again.
Patrick: You're not explaining anything, you're lying to me and I can see it. So why don't you cut the crap and tell me what's going on at Wyndemere?
James: I'm sympathetic to your family's difficulties, of course, but our business deal can't wait.
Alexis: Clearly, you've had your sensitive moment for the year -- when you stayed with my daughter.
Nikolas: Yeah, he -- he's right. We do need to get back to work, and you need your rest, so --
Alexis: Fine, I will go. But at some point, you and I are going to talk. And in the meantime, I will handle Scotty Baldwin.
Nikolas: Alexis, I can hire another attorney to protect the guardianship, okay?
Alexis: I'm perfectly capable of drafting a counter complaint.
Nikolas: Yeah, but more stress is all you need right now, so --
James: Maybe you should let your aunt argue the case. If she passes out during the middle of the proceedings, it may elicit sympathy from the judge.
Alexis: I was dehydrated, that's it.
Nikolas: Concentrate on getting well, I can handle Baldwin.
Alexis: Which is the least of your problems, because when Luke finds out that Laura made you her guardian and not him, that's not going to be pretty, and I would be happy to run interference, I always -- all right, fine.
Nikolas: I'll let you know. Thank you. What the hell were you thinking going to her house?
James: Why aren't you thanking me? I mean, can you imagine what would've happened if poor little Kristina had wandered in and found her mother lying face down on the floor?
Nikolas: Okay. This won't work for either one of us as long as you stay here.
James: Do you have an alternative?
Nikolas: I do. I have several accounts set up for your new identity. I'll have 60 million transferred by the end of the day. All you have to do is leave here for good.
Amelia: Sorry, I got held up at the P.R. department. They've really got to do a better job of spinning Sam's press. How soon can the crew be ready?
Man: We can go any time. Sam's a different story.
Man: You better hope your new star doesn't have a problem.
Amelia: I doubt Sam's been getting much sleep lately.
Man: If you say so.
Second man's voice: You stupid tramp.
Sam's voice: No –
Man's voice: I bought and paid for you just like I bought and paid for this!
Sam: Agh! Stop -- God!
Man: You filthy slut!
Sam: Get off!
Man: Damn it!
Amelia: Bad dream?
Jason: Look, I -- I don't have any right to tell you what to do. I'm just asking you to think about what fighting the divorce is doing to Carly and what it's doing to your kids.
Sonny: Jax came in here already and gave me a lecture, so go ahead, whatever you need to tell me --
Jason: I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.
Sonny: I was ready to let her go. Even though it killed me, I went to the Metro Court to give -- give her back her passport, because I accepted that it was over. Then we got held hostage, and Carly admitted to me what I -- I've known all along -- she still loves me. You know that.
Jason: She might. She might --
Sonny: "She might"?
Jason: But Carly wants to be with Jax right now --
Sonny: She doesn't want to be with Jax! She just thinks that he's safe. That's all. That's not who Carly is, that's not how she wants to live her life!
Jason: It doesn't matter at this point. It doesn't matter, Carly has made her choice.
Tracy: Don't even think of it.
Scott: What are you going to do, end our battle over Laura by smothering her with a pillow?
Tracy: No, actually I'm here to tell the staff you're not to come within 10 feet of her.
Scott: Why would you do that? You'd think this would make you happy, you'd be pleased that I'm taking Laura off of Luke's hands -- and yours.
Tracy: Let me explain this in terms simple enough for you to grasp. I am Mrs. Luke Spencer. If Luke doesn't want you near Laura, I don't want you near Laura.
Nikolas: Look, you're well on your way to having a new identity. You don't need me anymore to complete the arrangements. Just take the money and go.
James: And why would I want to do that?
Nikolas: I need to focus all my time and energy on this legal battle over my mother. I can't be distracted with some -- me vague business deal that could raise suspicion.
James: Very persuasive. But our current arrangements suit me fine.
Luke: We have to talk about your mother.
Epiphany: Seventh-floor nurses' station? Well, you'll have to leave a message. Dr. Drake is in the middle of a very important consultation and he can't be disturbed right now.
Robin: God, has your ego gotten that out of control that you can't believe that I -- or any woman, for that matter -- wouldn't want to be with you?
Patrick: Twist this around any way you like, but I know you're not telling me the truth.
Robin: No, no, just stop with your conspiracy theories, okay? Because just because it's difficult for you to accept that Nikolas and I are together, it doesn't mean that it's not --
Patrick: Robin, this is not about me being jealous.
Robin: Of course it is.
Patrick: Okay, do I hate the thought of you sleeping with Nikolas? Absolutely. But you know what really kills me? I have to stand here and watch you lie to my face. I don't believe that after everything we've been through, you don't trust me enough to tell me the truth.
Robin: Do you think that I want it to be like this?
Sam: Thank you -- I am so sorry. I didn't get much sleep last night.
Amelia: Oh, if my boyfriend had been caught in a shootout, I don't think I'd be getting much sleep, either. How's Jason doing?
Sam: Well --
Man: We're ready for you, Sam.
Amelia: Oh, go rehearse. We'll talk later.
Sam: Okay. Thank you. Thanks.
Man: All right.
Man: Okay. And five, four --
Man: Three, two --
Sam: One out of every five people will be a victim of a crime this year, and of those crimes, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of --
Man: We got some more research. Everything you wanted to know about the connection between Sam McCall and Angela Monroe.
Amelia: I'll take the highlights.
Man: Sam was running a con. She'd move to a town, target a young, wealthy, middle-aged man and get him to marry her. After he did, she would stay with him anywhere from three to six months, just long enough to drain his bank accounts. By the time the guy realized his money was gone, so was Sam. So she'd move to another town, get a new identity, start the scam all over again.
Amelia: How many times has she pulled this?
Man: Five husbands in five different states. The scam went fine for the first four, but the last guy, Bill Monroe, he figured out what Sam was trying to pull. He confronted her, and she killed him.
Spinelli: Okay, um, I'm sorry, Stone Cold. I did something that you're so not going to like, and I know -- I know what you're thinking -- I do a lot of things that you don't like -- but this is different. This is way, way different.
Jason: I want you to take a deep breath right now.
Spinelli: I wanted to impress the Blond One with my -- um -- with my rebellious spirit and my secret pain, so I borrowed your bike, and now there's a dent in it, when it used to be a flawless frame.
Jason: I noticed.
Spinelli: Look, you don't -- don't feel like you need to sugarcoat it because I know about the baby, because I would never -- I would never, ever use that against you. You know that, right?
Jason: It's okay, it's okay, Spinelli.
Spinelli: But I -- I -- I wrecked your bike. I mean, that's the symbol of your iconoclastic cool.
Jason: It's just a bike, okay? Next time, ask first, I might be able to show you how to ride.
Spinelli: That's it? I mean -- I mean, you -- you're not going to unleash your -- your pent-up aggression on the Jackal? I mean, you're not going to banish me to the pink room forever?
Jason: No, no, you made a mistake. If you tell me you're not going to do it again, I believe you.
Spinelli: The Jackal is, uh -- thanks. Thanks a lot. Hey, Stone Cold? You would've made a really great dad.
Carly: Hey. Are you okay?
Sonny: Yeah. Can I come in?
Carly: Michael's upstairs.
Sonny: I'm not here to see the boys, I'm -- you got those papers?
Carly: Thank you for -- uh -- for doing this. You know, it's -- it's for the best.
Sonny: Keep telling yourself that.
Carly: The boys are going to be happier, we are. You'll see, it's -- here.
Sonny: No, I'm doing this because you asked, because, as you know, I don't want the divorce. And I can't force you to stay married to me, or to love me.
Carly: I do love you, you know that.
Sonny: Then why am I signing these papers?
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Patrick: Someone forced you into something that you don't want.
Luke: I have always taken care of Laura.
Nikolas: You're not married to her anymore.
Jax: Carly and I are getting married -- for real this time.
Carly: This divorce means we're free to live separate lives.
Sonny: I don't want to be free -- you want to do this?
