Lorenzo: Yeah, everything's falling into place. It's all going to be over tonight. Okay?

[Phone rings]

Lorenzo: Yes?

[Music plays]

Lorenzo: All right, make sure Morgan gets inside, block all the exits --

Singer: Yeah

Lorenzo: And you make sure there are no survivors.

Lucky: Hey, how you feeling?

Elizabeth: Same as I was when you called me 10 minutes ago. But I am getting --

[Elizabeth gasps]

Lucky: Elizabeth, what's wrong?

Elizabeth: I'm having a contraction.

Photographer: Sam, anytime you're ready.

Amelia: I'm giving you the chance of a lifetime, but either you are in it all the way or we're done. Starting now, what's it going to be?

Sam: Okay. Okay, okay, okay. Let's do this.

[Sam sighs]

Photographer: You look great.

Sam: Thank you.

Photographer: Fantastic, that looks great.

Sonny: Reporters showed up tonight at Kelly's, asking me how I bought a new show for my mistress, right in front of my children.

Jason: Okay, what -- what do you want me to do?

Sonny: Sam has to sign that restraining order, or quit the show.

Singer: I heard some shouts like "down on the floor" then even louder we got shooters

Singer: I turn around I was staring at chrome

Lucky: We need help over here! It's okay.

Singer: Got security good my hands up, my hands up they want me with my hands up

Carly: Yes, I'll marry you.

Singers: Shooter

Singer: My hands up my hands up they want me with my hands up oh, shooter oh

Lucky: You'll be okay. Somebody's coming. It's okay.

Singer: Birds fly up at the mouth talk about droppin' win me somethin' now there are pictures of me 'cause I'm scared enough to talk about with all these riches and all these riches and ain't no

Coop: What's downstairs?

Maxie: The Cellar; it's a nightclub.

Logan: Are you sure?

Lulu: Yeah, my cousin Carly owns it, she closed it down, but there's an entrance in the alley.

Logan: Coop, I'll take point, you cover.

Singer: My shooter my hands up, my hands up they want me with my hands up singers: My shooter shooter oh

Photographer: Gorgeous, Sam, that's great. That's the look, right there.

Amelia: All right. Ready for a break? I think we could use one for a wardrobe change.

Sam: Okay. You're the boss.

Photographer: I was impressed with last week's P.R. shots, but today -- you kicked it up to a whole new level.

Sam: Thank you. It's fun, and Amelia's commitment to perfection inspires me.

Amelia: Oh, we all want to be good at what we do.

Sam: Oh, no, it's not just about being good or doing a good show; you got to want to do the best. I mean, that's what it's all about, right?

Amelia: Yeah.

[Music plays]

Carly: Wow.

Jax: A penny for your thoughts?

Carly: I -- this is amazing. This really is so beautiful. I just hate that I lost the first one.

Jax: You didn't lose it, it was stolen, okay? I -- I thought this one would compensate. Do you like it?

Carly: It's amazing. It's -- it's five carats of perfection. You know, it was just the first one -- how you proposed and all the things you said to me.

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: Everything was really pure then.

Jax: Well, we really earned it this time.

Carly: You know what? Someday years from now, when one of our children gives this ring to the woman he's going to marry, I'm going to tell them how I was held hostage while you were in Siberia trying to find your brother, and how we fought to be together.

Jax: Do you know what they're going to say?

Carly: No.

Jax: "There goes crazy mom again with her silly stories." Yeah, the same way you reacted when Lady Jane tells her stories about how she fell in love with my dad.

Carly: I love Lady Jane's stories.

Jax: Yeah, sure.

Carly: And I love how you inherited her romantic streak. Oh, do you think she's going to be happy about this?

Jax: Of course. When she sees how happy I am, she's going to be delighted.

Carly: She is going to tell you to run in the opposite direction, you know she is.

Jax: I love you, Carly. That's all that Lady Jane needs to know; that's all anyone needs to know. And how we live our life now is up to us. The sooner we start it the better.

Ric's voice: Lorenzo's faking his brain damage, and you're the one who's going to take the fall.

Skye: How are my two favorite people in the whole world?

Lorenzo: When did you get home?

Skye: Just now. What have you been doing tonight?

Lorenzo: I got Lila to try one of those new snacks you bought her. I never knew babies had such big appetites.

Skye: Hmm. I find it hard to believe that Lila trying a new food is the most exciting thing that's happened tonight.

Elizabeth: Oh. Ow.

Lucky: Isn't it too soon to deliver this baby?

Kelly: Babies are born early every day and do fine. But I wouldn't worry about it until we know for sure what's going on.

Elizabeth: I mean, could it just be Braxton Hicks?

Kelly: Odds are it's false labor. You haven't made any cervical changes. I need to check on a few things, then we'll know more. It's too soon to be nervous, okay?

Lucky: What -- what, do I -- do I look nervous?

Elizabeth: She's the expert, I'm sure everything's fine.

Lucky: You know, even if this baby decides to join us tonight, you know, we're going to roll with it, okay?

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Coop: I got him!

Logan: Go. Agh!

Maxie: We're at Kelly's diner. We can still hear shots coming from downstairs. Maxie Jones. Just send someone.

Spinelli: Hey, someone's shooting -- you have to take cover!

Lulu: I know, I know, I know -- the shooting is coming from downstairs.

Spinelli: What -- downstairs? Stone Cold could be in there.

Lulu: What -- what do you know about this?

Maxie: Please don't shoot me!

Man: Back off or I'll kill her.

Coop: Let her go.

Lucky: Hey.

Kelly: Well, you were right. Your contractions are getting closer together. Looks like you're in labor.

Lucky: Oh.

Elizabeth: Real labor?

Kelly: We can stop it if you choose. We have several medications we use to control contractions. I think we can hold off this baby long enough to let you carry it to term.

Lucky: Can -- can this baby be born tonight?

Kelly: Every test shows your baby is healthy and strong. There's no reason to believe he or she wouldn't have an excellent chance of survival, even at this stage.

Elizabeth: But it's better for the baby if I carry to term?

Sam: Hey, Jason, it's Sam. I'm not sure when we're going to wrap, but I would love it if we could go to dinner or something. I got my makeup done by professionals, so I wouldn't want it to go to waste, and I feel really bad because I bailed on you yesterday and I just -- I want to make it up to you, and I miss you. Okay, I love you. Bye. Oh, thank you, Brandy.

Photographer: You look good, Sam.

Sam: Thanks.

Amelia: Hey, it's perfect.

Man: She's a star, Amelia.

[Shutter clicks]

Man: I'm not sure you need to go public with all that stuff about her past.

Amelia: Just do your job.

Man: So you still want me to dig up dirt on Sam?

Amelia: Keep it coming and keep it to yourself until I tell you otherwise.

Reporter: Sam McCall? It's Sam. Sam McCall, did you know that your boyfriend's been involved in another shootout?

Sam: What? What happened?

Reporter: The police --

Amelia: We are in the middle of a photo shoot.

Reporter: The police are responding to a gunfight at Kelly's. Early reports are that Jason Morgan and Sonny Corinthos were both killed.

[Music plays]

Jax: Mmm. Oh, that's good.

Carly: I love us. I do. I -- I love that you don't try to turn me into someone that you think I should be. And you really like me.

Jax: Yeah, I -- haven't I been saying that enough?

Carly: No, I know you love me, but -- but you like me, too. I have been loved by men, I have been their obsession, I've been their possession, I've been their passion. But when I look into your eyes and you're looking back at me, you're really happy to see me.

Jax: Yeah, I've been married to someone I love, too, and I've been married to someone I like. But I can't ever remember, you know, having both in the same woman. It's even worth putting up with Sonny. You know, I know he'll always be a part of your life.

Carly: I can't ever turn my back on Sonny. You -- you know that for all the reasons we've already discussed. But I want you to know right now, from this night forward, you come first. It's about time, don't you think?

Mac: We got a call on shots --

Lulu: Look out, look out!

Mac: Set the gun down easy. Don't make any sudden moves.

Man: Everyone back up, or I'll kill her.

Det. Rodriguez: You're outnumbered, buddy, just drop the gun.

Man: You drop your gun.

Mac: "Don't" shoot her.

Coop: Maxie -- Maxie, look at me. Look at me. Don't be afraid. Look at me. Don't be afraid, all right? Everything --

[Lulu screams]

Mac: Maxie!

Jason: We clear?

Logan: Yeah, yeah, we're clear.

Jason: He's dead. Sonny, we're clear. Sonny?

[Music plays]

[Carly sighs]

Carly: You know, for the first time in so long, I feel relaxed. I do. I feel like everything is the way it's supposed to be. When you asked me to come to dinner with you in Montral, did you know you were going to propose again?

Jax: I -- I knew there was some things that we needed to work through. But the minute you told me the truth about Sonny -- that you were married and intimate -- and then when you wouldn't settle for anything less but total honestly, I knew that we stood a chance.

Carly: I promise you that I will never settle for less than total honesty. And I promise you that I will be faithful, and that I will always love you.

Jax: And I promise that I will always like you as much as I love you. And I will always, always love you.

Coop: You're all right, you're all right, you're all right.

Spinelli: You never flinched, dude. You were just -- you were just talking to Maxie, and then bam -- brain soup.

Coop: Hey, there's a firefight in the basement.

Mac: We got a couple of uniforms. Check it out. Rodriguez, back them up.

Mac: What the hell were you trying to prove? Maxie could've been killed.

Maxie: I'm fine.

Mac: You don't play chicken with a hostage's life.

Lulu: That guy was -- was going to kill her. Coop didn't have a choice.

Patrick: Nice of you to interrupt your personal life long enough to show up for work. You didn't sign the death certificate.

Robin: The coroner put a rush on this. Why didn't anyone bring it to me?

Patrick: Who knows? Maybe if you ever bothered to finish what you started --

Robin: You know what? Fine. I'll just ask someone who will give me a straight answer.

Patrick: There's a box of your books in my car.

[Robin sighs]

Robin: I don't have my car.

Patrick: Then I'll drop them off at Wyndemere later.

Robin: No, you can't do that.

Patrick: Then I'll toss them in the river -- I really don't care.

Epiphany: Ambulance is bringing in Sonny Corinthos with another patient -- Logan something -- gunshot wound to the leg.

Robin: Wait a minute, was Sonny shot?

Epiphany: All I know is he's unconscious. Head wound, Dr. Drake -- your specialty.

Robin: Listen, Sonny is my friend. I want to consult on this. Don't try and stop me.

Sam: Did Jason get hurt?

Epiphany: All I know is that Jason Morgan was not in the ambulance.

Sam: What does that mean? Is Jason dead?

Kelly: You don't have to decide this alone. You have the baby's father to help you.

Elizabeth: But it would be better for the baby to hold off the labor and just let him or her come when they're due?

Kelly: In a perfect world, we want the baby close to term as possible. That's when the lungs are developed fully and the immune system is strong.

Elizabeth: Right.

Lucky: Okay, what about Elizabeth? I mean, are the medications safe for her?

Kelly: Terbutaline -- it relaxes the muscles in the uterus so they stop contracting.

Elizabeth: Okay.

Lucky: You want to try the medication?

Elizabeth: I do. I -- I don't want to risk an early delivery.

Kelly: Okay. We'll start you on the medication right away. The contractions should stop pretty quickly.

Elizabeth: Thanks.

Lucky: Well, I'm going to stay here with you tonight.

Elizabeth: Okay. Thank you.

[Phone rings]

Lucky: Oh -- let me get that. Spencer.

Det. Rodriguez: All hell's breaking loose at Kelly's. The commissioner wants you here ASAP.

Lucky: What's going on?

Det. Rodriguez: Someone put a hit out on Morgan and Corinthos.

Skye: Lila Rae falls asleep so quickly -- like she doesn't have a care in the world. You never did tell me what you did tonight.

Lorenzo: I played with our daughter. She's so innocent -- she's got no demands, no expectations. Skye, there's just, uh, so much that I'm supposed to know that I don't. And I'm so grateful for you and Lila, accepting me despite my flaws.

Skye: Well, it's you, me, and Lila Rae. That's all we have in this world and we have to stick together, right?

Lorenzo: Yeah.

Ric: Is it a bad time?

Skye: What do you want, Ric?

Ric: You want to tell her or should I?

Skye: Tell me what?

Lorenzo: I don't know what you're talking about.

Ric: You know, even if your plan had worked, did you -- did you not think it was going to come back and bite you?

Skye: Just say it.

Ric: Your boyfriend tried to take out Sonny and Jason tonight at the old cellar nightclub.

Lorenzo: That's absurd -- I haven't left my house all night.

Ric: By the way, Alcazar, your boys are all dead, and Sonny and Jason survived, and according to preliminary reports, Jason got away without a scratch -- which means payback is going to be swift. He's left you wide open.

E.M.T.: His B.P. is dropping; we got to move.

Jason: Look, I'm -- I'm riding with Sonny.

Mac: No, you're not.

Jason: What --

Spinelli: Stone Cold, you're alive.

Lulu: Jason, this -- this guy came upstairs and he was about to kill Maxie --

Mac: You two need to leave. The crime scene is being secured.

Officer: Commissioner?

Mac: Yeah?

Jason: Okay, look, I need you to ride to the hospital with Sonny. I'm going to meet you there after I'm done with Mac.

Spinelli: Uh, yeah, sure, we can do that.

Jason: Okay. Stay with Sonny. If he starts to wake up and says something incriminating, I -- I need you to cover for him.

Spinelli: Okay. How?

Jason: Okay, you just -- you just talk, okay? You do what you do -- you talk about whatever that weird stuff in your head is, all right, and people are going to be so distracted they're not even going to pay attention to Sonny.

Spinelli: Okay, yeah, no -- the Jackal won't fail you -- or the temporarily non-conscious godfather.

Mac: What happened here?

Jason: Men with guns attacked the place, Mac. What's it look like?

Mac: And now they're all dead, and I only have your word for it. What are you doing here, Jason? Did they ambush you, or are you the real killer here?

Carly: You know what? I think Montral is my favorite city in the whole world.

Jax: Really? Why is that?

Carly: Oh, because of the food, the art, the men are pretty sexy. And you know what? You can pick up some serious stuff while you're there. You think we'll go back for our honeymoon?

Jax: I actually have another destination in mind.

Carly: Will it require lots of time on a plane?

Jax: You make it sound like it's a bad thing. You know, flying can be quite, um, exciting and quite stimulating at times.

Carly: Really?

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: You know, I've never done it on a plane.

Jax: Are you chicken?

Carly: Never.

Jax: Let's scare the captain. Come on.

Carly: Uh-uh.

Stan: Excuse me, excuse me. Was Sonny Corinthos brought in?

Epiphany: There's only one appropriate response to that question -- you don't work here, you're not injured, so you can leave.

Stan: Look, Mom, there -- there was a shootout, all right? It was all over the news.

Epiphany: I am just so glad that it's not you with that brain injury.

Stan: Who? Who's got a brain injury? Who?

Epiphany: You sit down and shut up, and let the doctors do their work.

Patrick: Nothing like two traumas at once.

Robin: Epiphany, notify radiology, we need C.T. scans right away. Take him to trauma one.

Sam: Hey -- where's Jason?

Spinelli: No, it's okay. He had to submit to some police interrogation, but he put me and Lulu in charge of Mr. Corinthos, sir -- we're the keeper of his secrets.

Kelly: Hey, if you're looking for Elizabeth, she's in 407.

Lulu: What? What's wrong with Elizabeth?

Kelly: She was having contractions, premature labor -- we have her on medication to control it. Okay?

Lulu: Okay, okay, I'll be there.

Patrick: We need a C.T. scan right now

Spinelli: Oh, I've -- I've always wanted to see one of those, so I --

Epiphany: No, you have to wait here.

Spinelli: Uh -- huh, no can do. Um, Mr. Corinthos, sir -- uh, excuse me -- you're in the hospital.

Sonny: Retaliate -- hit them where it hurts.

Spinelli: Uh -- that was --

[Spinelli laughs]

Spinelli: That was a song that was, you know, playing in the ambulance. You all know it, right? I mean -- "hit 'em where it hurts"

[Spinelli vocalizes]

Epiphany: Are you sure you do not have a head injury?

Robin: Okay, you're Spinelli, right? You're the guy that helped Jason through the hostage crisis?

Spinelli: Yes, I -- yeah, I'm -- I'm the Jackal. Stone Cold entrusted me with Mr. Corinthos, sir's well-being.

Robin: Great. Then you need to let Dr. Drake do his job, because we just want to take care of Sonny's injury.

Spinelli: Unless you submit to my demands, Mr. Corinthos, sir is not being touched.

Patrick: Look, you need to either sit down, shut up, or I'm going to have security take you out of here.

Lucky: I can't leave you. I mean, what if you have a bad reaction to the drugs? What if you continue with labor and you deliver tonight?

Elizabeth: I'm okay. I can already feel the contractions getting easier. And I'll page you if I need you. In the meantime, I'm going to take the time you're gone to get some sleep. We'll be here when you get back.

Lucky: Okay, I'll hurry. Did you hear that, baby? You take care of your mama until your daddy gets back.

Mac: You can make it easier on yourself or not, Jason. We're drowning in dead bodies. You either come clean or you're looking at murder charges.

Jason: You know I can't say anything without my attorney.

Mac: What about you?

Coop: My friend Logan and I were upstairs at Kelly's when we heard the gunfire commence. We did a quick perimeter check to make sure no civilians were in danger. We then proceeded downstairs, where we encountered five armed assailants attacking Mr. Corinthos and Mr. Morgan. During the firefight, one of the assailants fled the scene. I pursued him up the stairs, but he grabbed Maxie before I could stop him. That's when you came on the scene, sir, and you know what happened next. As far as the events that happened down here, I wouldn't know after I left.

Mac: You're a security guard at the Metro Court, right? How come your friend was carrying a firearm?

Coop: We were M.P.'s together, sir. Logan is licensed to carry a weapon.

Mac: Okay. All right. I only wish all my witnesses were as detailed as you.

Coop: Can I go to the hospital, sir? I mean, I'm the only person that Logan knows and I'd like to see if he's okay.

Mac: Yeah, go ahead.

Det. Rodriguez: Jason? The gunmen all have Venezuelan I.D.'s.

Mac: You must be the luckiest man in Port Charles. Call Lansing, tell him he was right -- this has Alcazar's prints all over it.

Ric: Well, that was the hospital. You know, it really was a good plan in theory, Alcazar. I mean, you play the hapless idiot -- with a convincing performance by the mother of your child to sell it, of course. You lull Sonny and Jason into complacency, then you move in for the slaughter. I hope you got a backup plan, though, because this one failed miserably. The hospital reported that my brother and another man were injured -- your thugs are all dead -- and as previously reported, Jason escaped without a scratch. So, I think it's time for you to cooperate.

Lorenzo: What do you want from me? Why don't you just leave me alone?

Ric: You know, I would like to think that you weren't foolish enough to send Alcazar's men into a full-blown mob war. But if you were, I feel sorry for you -- and even sorrier for that little girl. Because they're not going to care that you're a mother once they retaliate.

Skye: I'd like you to leave -- now!

Lorenzo: Ignore him. He's trying to panic you. There is a way to salvage this.

Jax: You're so bad --

[Carly giggles]

Jax: I love it.

Carly: How long till we get to Port Charles?

Jax: Well, when the plane touches down, you'll know it's time to get your clothes on.

Pilot: This is the captain. You probably noticed we hit some turbulence a few minutes go. I recommend you keep your seat belts fastened.

Jax: No, that wasn't turbulence.

Carly: Uh-uh.

Mac: Looks like your story holds up.

Lucky: Sorry, Mac.

Mac: When a cop doesn't show up for a call -- a cop with a history like yours -- it's not a good sign.

Lucky: Mac, Elizabeth went into labor.

Mac: Is she all right?

Lucky: She's at the hospital. We're trying to hold off the labor with medication.

Mac: All right, you should be with Elizabeth. Go back to the hospital.

Lucky: No, I just didn't want you to think I was sliding.

Mac: It's all right. Go back to the hospital. Go.

Lucky: Thanks, Mac.

Jason: If you're -- if you're going to arrest me, arrest me. If not, just let me go, Mac.

Mac: In a hurry? You're free to go. Tell Sonny I hope he feels better.

Lulu: Are you having the baby?

Elizabeth: Probably not. Dr. Kelly put me on medication to stop the contractions.

Lulu: Oh, okay.

Elizabeth: It was awfully sweet of you to stop by and check on me, though.

Lulu: Yeah, um, I -- I heard about it in the E.R. I was riding in the ambulance with Sonny after the shootout, so --

Elizabeth: What shootout?

Lulu: Jason and Sonny were caught in an ambush downstairs from Kelly's.

Elizabeth: Are they okay?

Lulu: Yeah, Sonny has a concussion, and, yes, Jason is fine.

Skye: So how long have you been faking your condition?

Lorenzo: Weeks.

Skye: So you really didn't have memory loss the night of the hostage crisis?

Lorenzo: No, I did. I was completely disoriented after the surgery. My head didn't start to get clear until the time around Alan's funeral.

Skye: So you didn't tell me? You keep something so critical from the woman you claim to love?

Lorenzo: I did this because I love you -- to protect you. And the best way to keep you alive and safe is to take out Sonny and Jason. Look, I feel awful that I've been deceiving you. But your struggle to run the business was the perfect front to convince my enemies that I was helpless.

Skye: So now your enemies have survived your ambush, which leaves them wide open to retaliate.

Lorenzo: No.

Skye: So what now, Lorenzo?

Lorenzo: Now nothing. Jason and Sonny won't attack a woman. You can legitimately say that you didn't know anything about this. I'll just go on faking this brain injury, Sonny will assume it was someone else, one of his other rivals.

Skye: I don't know whether to be furious at you for your lies or -- or relieved that you recovered.

Lorenzo: You can be as mad at me as you want. Just know that I did this because I love you, and I wanted to protect our family.

Spinelli: Look -- okay, Stone Cold -- ahem -- Jason Morgan appointed me guardian of Mr. Corinthos, sir's secrets, okay, so if you can hear him and hear something you shouldn't, we'll -- we'll have to kill you.

Patrick: Is this guy for real?

Spinelli: No, I -- okay, maybe not you, but people might get hurt, okay?

Patrick: Okay, I think you need to take Spinelli to the psych ward.

Robin: Wait, hold on a second. Listen to me. I know why you're concerned, okay, but Sonny and Jason -- they are both old friends of mine. Nothing Sonny says -- unconscious or not -- will be used against him. You have my word.

Stan: Oh, man. You damn fool, Spinelli.

Epiphany: It's time you went home.

Stan: Okay.

Amelia: What'd you do to make her so angry?

Stan: Uh, I was born -- she's my mom.

Amelia: Hmm.

Coop: Hey, I'm -- I'm looking for Logan Hayes? Hey, how you doing?

Logan: Bullet in the leg. They got to operate.

Coop: You need anything?

Logan: Uh-huh -- call my father.

Sam: Spinelli, come here. Come on --

Spinelli: Where -- where --

Sam: Will you please leave Sonny alone and let the doctors do their job?

Spinelli: Where's the blond one?

Sam: What do you mean? Elizabeth -- she went into labor. She wanted to go see her.

Spinelli: Wait, wait, wait, wait -- Elizabeth?

Sam: Yeah.

Spinelli: Oh, my God, someone's got to tell him --

Sam: Hey -- who?

Lorenzo: Oh, Lila. I had a good plan to protect you from two of my enemies -- forever. It failed, but you know what? Something even more important happened with your mommy tonight. I finally told her the truth. I don't have to lie to her anymore. And she forgave me. Your beautiful mother -- she showed how much she loves me. And I love her just as deeply.

Skye: I can't talk long -- Lorenzo thinks I came to pick up teething gel for our baby.

Ric: I knew I'd be hearing from you.

Skye: You were right -- Lorenzo has been faking his brain damage.

Ric: What tipped you off?

Skye: It doesn't matter. Lorenzo used me and deliberately put me and my child in jeopardy. I didn't ever want to be put in this position, but he's forced my hand. I will do whatever it takes to protect Lila Rae from her own father.

Elizabeth: I know it would seem a little odd that I'm so concerned about Jason, but we have been friends --

Lulu: You don't have to explain that you are happy he didn't get shot.

Elizabeth: Well, all I'm saying is that years ago when we thought Lucky was dead, Jason was good to me. And then last summer when Lucky was going through his whole drug problem, he helped me through that, too. And if he hadn't rescued me at the Metro Court, then this baby wouldn't even still be here. Lucky and I owe him so much.

Lulu: Hmm. Well, maybe you could let him be a part of the baby's life -- I mean, out of gratitude for all he's done.

Lucky: Hey, Lu.

Lulu: Hi -- hi.

Elizabeth: That was really fast.

Lucky: How you feeling?

Elizabeth: I'm great -- actually, I'm hungry.

Lucky: Well, that's fantastic. Nice work, kid -- way to be patient. Your daddy's proud of you.

Spinelli: Someone needs to tell the Blond One's brother, of course, you know, about the early arrival so he -- so he won't worry.

Sam: No, no, please. I'm pretty sure Lucky knows.

Coop: How am I supposed to get in touch with him when you told me that you don't even know where he is? All right -- all right, maybe -- you could give me a name or something, I could find him.

Logan: Never mind. Old man wouldn't even care. Hell, he might not even --

Coop: You okay?

Maxie: I went home and, uh, cleaned myself up. Just all that blood -- you know, the way you shot him --

Coop: I'm sorry -- I'm sorry I had to do it like that, Maxie.

Maxie: I just know what head wounds are like because of Jesse, and I remember, you know, holding his head and -- when I was taking the shower I -- all I could think about was that could've been me -- you know, shot in the head, bleeding to death -- but you saved me.

Stan: Hey.

Amelia: What are the odds I'll get Sam back to work tonight?

Stan: Small and none. Sam's not going anywhere until she sees Jason for herself.

Amelia: Oh, if that's going to be a habit with Sam, I'm going to have to retool the show, get a new host.

Stan: Wow -- that easy, huh? Well, I guess, you know, we're all dispensable. When it comes to Madison Avenue, who cares about the cost of human life, right?

Amelia: I have a show to put on.

Stan: Right. See, I thought you actually believed in Sam -- that she was going to empower the common man, that she was going to aspire us to be free-thinking, self-determining architects of our own existence? See, you were supposed to show the viewers how to save themselves instead of always waiting to be saved, right?

Amelia: I'm not in the business of empowering the masses or breaking down our class system. I'm just trying to sell toothpaste.

Stan: Uh-huh. But it's only through class struggles that we can seek to be a classless society.

Amelia: Dialectic materialism. What, didn't everyone study Marxism in college?

Stan: Huh.

Jason: Excuse me. Elizabeth Spencer -- she was brought in on labor pains?

E.M.T.: Oh, she would be in obstetrics -- fourth floor.

Sam: Jason, you're really okay.

Jason: Oh.

Spinelli: Okay, so, uh, all is well, Stone Cold, okay? Mr. Corinthos, sir is in trusted hands, and -- um -- the -- the Blond One was here, and -- um -- but she -- she had to go because Elizabeth went into labor. Uh -- except it was too early, so they're trying to stop it before the innocent one arrives.

Sam: I have a feeling he's a little bit more concerned about Sonny right now.

Jason: Yeah. Where -- where is Sonny?

Sam: Over here.

Patrick: Cat scans are negative. There's no bullet wound, no intracranial bleeding, but he did suffer a serious concussion.

Jax: I can't believe you want another dessert.

Carly: I worked up an appetite on the airplane.

Jax: Yeah, I'm sure you did. Mac? What happened?

Mac: Sonny and Jason were ambushed downstairs in your old club.

Carly: Are they okay?

Mac: Jason wasn't hurt. Sonny was taken to General Hospital with a head injury.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Lulu: What are you doing here?

Spinelli: I came to record the Innocent One's birth.

Lucky: Record it for who?

Amelia: Now that you know everyone's okay, we need you to get back to work.

Jax: You don't have to pretend with me -- I know that you want to go see Sonny.

Sonny: Don't leave me.
