Emily: Oh, my God.
Nikolas: Emily, I'm sorry.
Robin: Emily, I'm -- I'm sorry you had to see that.
Emily: I need to speak to Nikolas -- alone.
Lulu: I care about you, Dillon.
Dillon: Yeah, but you like me much more as a friend and --
Lulu: And I love you as a friend. But last summer was such an emotional roller coaster, I don't know if I can handle anything more than a friendship.
Dillon: Yes, but why -- why can't -- why can't I just take you to dinner, or -- or take you to a movie, and, no pressure, but see where it goes?
Lulu: Well, why does anything have to go anywhere? I mean, just -- relationships are so complicated. Like, you know, Lucky and Elizabeth -- they're back together, but that's a whole nother story. And -- and Nikolas and Emily -- they're having problems, and -- and my mom came back, only to have --
Lulu: What was that?
Logan: Get off me! I'm doing you a favor, you idiot!
Coop: Shut up!
Logan: Maxie's using you, man, she's a user!
Dillon: Whoa, hey -- hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Cut it out, cut it out, come on!
Sonny: I want your people ready to strike against the Metro Court. I don't want anybody to intervene, not -- not even my wife. Yeah. What are you doing here?
Michael: Uh -- I have to talk to you about Mom.
Jason: It's just a box of pictures. That's it.
Carly: Can I see?
Jason: Well, there's nothing to see. It's just, you know, me, you, Michael, Morgan.
Carly: You have pictures of me?
Jason: Yes, I do -- you and the boys, Carly.
Carly: Ah -- not if they were before Michael was an infant -- I hated my hair then.
Jason: You know, when I look at those pictures now, I -- I think about was that it was right to keep Michael away from A.J.
Carly: So have you changed your mind?
Jason: I never felt bad for A.J., but I do -- I do now. He never got to be a father to his child.
Nikolas: I'm sorry; we didn't want it to happen this way.
Emily: No, but you just did it.
Robin: Um, Emily, I'm -- I'm sorry. Uh -- I know that you saved my life at the Metro Court, and -- and I owe you, and you probably feel really betrayed right now.
Emily: This is between me and Nikolas, and I need to speak to him privately.
Nikolas: All right, it's all right.
Robin: You sure?
Nikolas: Yeah. Yeah, I owe her an explanation.
Nikolas: I'm sorry, Emily. This is -- this is the last thing that I wanted to do --
Emily: Now, tell me the truth.
Logan: Don't ever sneak up behind me ever again.
Coop: You are out of control.
Logan: Me? You're the one who started this. If you don't watch --
Maxie: Oh, God --
Lulu: Oh, wow.
Maxie: Are you crazy? You could've killed him!
Lulu: I just wanted to stop him!
Maxie: Oh, is that the excuse your mom used when she killed that woman in the attic?
Dillon: Oh, hey, Maxie, try going 60 seconds without being a bitch.
Coop: Leave Maxie alone.
Lulu: Okay, can everyone get a grip? I think I seriously hurt him.
Dillon: Fine, I'll get some water.
Maxie: So, do we have to call 911, because I really need to take a shower, you guys.
Dillon: Oh, no -- there you go, always thinking of others, huh?
Coop: I told you to shut up.
Lulu: Can everyone put a sock in it, okay?
Logan: Lulu -- I didn't know you actually cared.
Lulu: I should've hit you harder.
Logan: Oh Ė
Amelia: Brent -- Brent, stop worrying. Sam and I will be at the party in less than an hour. The advertisers will love her, yes. We'll see you there.
Sam: Whew. Okay, should I be nervous?
Amelia: Not at all. The advertisers and corporate sponsors are who keep us on the r, so just plaster on a smile and be friendly. Tell them how excited you are about the show, how you hope it'll do well -- yada, yada, yada.
Sam: Okay, um, another question -- what about Jason? What about everything that happened at the coffeehouse?
Amelia: Well, Sonny unleashed his pit-bull lawyer on me. All that delicious free press, and Ms. Miller made me shut down. It never got beyond Port Charles.
Sam: Good. That's good.
Amelia: But they will be asking you about the hostage crisis --
Amelia: So just be open. Show the sponsors how unique and appealing you are so they buy ad space on "Everyday Heroes."
Sam: I am not sure I'm going to make it as a product.
Amelia: Our audience focus groups say otherwise.
Sam: Seriously? I mean, the only thing that I've done is the -- the news on the Metro Court crisis. Besides that, I have absolutely no experience, and I am a complete unknown.
Amelia: The camera loves you, Sam, and I believe in you.
Sam: I know. But you're building an entire show around me. Isn't that a mistake? Why are you going to take that kind of a risk?
Amelia: Itís a little late to tell me I've made a mistake.
Max: Sorry to interrupt, Mr. C.
Sonny: No, my kids are always welcome, but it's just that sometimes I'm busy or I'm not in the office, so, you know, you got to call first -- Max knows that. So what are you doing here?
Michael: I -- I had to talk to you.
Max: Yeah, he called me down at the hotel and I didn't want to say no.
Sonny: Yeah, okay. It's okay. I'll -- I'll take care of it.
Max: All right. Take care.
Michael: You, too.
Sonny: So, what -- what's going on? What's with -- with your mother?
Michael: Well, Morgan and I don't want her to divorce you.
Sonny: Sit down.
Sonny: This way. All right. How many times are we going to go over this? We -- look, your mom and I are getting a -- it's a grown-up decision. We -- we're going to get divorced, we've agreed to it, so I don't know what --
Michael: Yeah, but what if you don't want to get divorced?
Sonny: That's not the point.
Michael: Yes, it is. Maybe she doesn't want to get divorced. So I have a plan.
Sonny: Okay, no more plans. I'm -- you did that before --
Michael: Hey -- hey, I helped you get back with her when you wanted to.
Sonny: Yeah, and I shouldn't have had you involved, and I'm not going to do it again.
Michael: Hey, it's just going to be -- I won't be there! It's just going to be you and her!
Sonny: Okay. You're so determined, tell me. What?
Michael: Okay. Ask her out to dinner, and make sure it's a fancy and romantic place, okay?
Michael: Uh -- tell her she looks pretty.
Michael: Uh -- she likes to talk, so listen, smile a lot, and make sure that she sees that we have to be a family again.
Carly: This is about Alan.
Jason: There's not a picture of Alan in that box. I didn't spend time with him; I didn't want to be around him.
Carly: Jason, you can't blame yourself for what happened. Alan was the parent, you were the child.
Jason: I wasn't a child, Carly.
Carly: You know, when I first met you, you were a little weird. And I realized that it was because of the accident. The -- the smallest thing would confuse you, especially when it came to emotion. Alan was an adult; he should've been looking out for your best interest.
Jason: He -- he tried.
Carly: He did not try. Alan was all about what Alan wanted -- his perfect son, a reflection of himself. I'm sorry, I was there. I remember all the reasons you pulled away. You were trying to be your own person, you were trying to survive.
Jason: You know, you always defend me.
Carly: I'm selfish.
Carly: If you -- well, if you moved back in at the Quartermaines', you would've never been at Jakeís, and if you had never been at Jakeís, I would've never met you, and what would've happened to me? You changed my life. Not that it's all about me or anything.
Jason: I -- I understand what you're trying to say.
Carly: I know that you regret that you don't have a bond with Alan. Don't feel bad for what happened with A.J. Please don't feel bad. He wanted to take Michael away from me and you made sure that didn't happen, and because of that, Michael got to grow up with his mother. And nothing is more important to a child than a mother.
Lulu: You're a complete jerk for hitting Dillon.
Logan: Oh. It's not my fault the guy's an easy target.
Maxie: Well, you and Dillon kind of butted in where you don't belong, so what do you expect?
Dillon: Oh, excuse me. I'm sorry for trying to keep the two cavemen from killing each other.
Lulu: And what were you guys fighting over anyway -- who gets next round with Maxie?
Maxie: Oh, poor Lulu -- 18 years old and not one single boyfriend -- except for her stepbrother here, who she tricked into sleeping with her.
Lulu: Wow, will you shut up?
Dillon: Okay, whoa -- don't want to see the "Maxie hates Lulu" sequel right now.
Maxie: Oh, but she started it.
Coop: That's enough! Everybody, this is my room -- out, now!
Lulu: Hmm -- best idea I've heard all day.
Logan: I hope you know what you're doing, buddy.
Coop: All right, hating Lulu is one thing, but that crack about her mother? That was unfair.
Maxie: I know that it was a cheap shot, but all of this Lulu worship just drives me crazy. People love that girl no matter what garbage she pulls. I refuse to compete, okay? If she wants to think I'm a slut, that's fine.
Coop: But you're not.
Maxie: Why do you trust me?
Coop: How do I not trust you? You got me out of the Metro Court. It got me a job and a room for rent. And never once have you let on to anyone that I was one of the gunmen.
Maxie: I'm good in a crisis, okay, but this is real life. Maybe you should start listening to everyone's warnings, because if you trust me too much, you're only going to be disappointed.
Nikolas: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Emily, I shouldn't have let that happened.
Emily: Let "what" happened?
Nikolas: Look -- look, I care about you, Emily. I do, I always have, but -- but the truth is I -- I love Robin now, and I just -- I can't --
Emily: What --
Nikolas: I can't do it.
Emily: What, just like that?
Nikolas: I want -- I wanted you to hear it from -- from me. Instead, you -- you had to hear it from Patrick, and -- and, obviously, you just walked in on Robin and me, so I --
Emily: No -- no, I -- I don't believe that there is a "you and Robin," Nikolas. Something else is going on.
Nikolas: I -- I know it's a shock to you, Emily, but I --
Emily: Look, you're the one that wanted me back, Nikolas -- even Alfred can attest to that. The times that you invented reasons for me to come back here to Wyndemere, the wonderful Christmas that we shared, wanting me to go to Russia with you to get Spencer back from Helena.
Nikolas: That -- that's just it -- I think -- I think we did too much together. It happened too quickly --
Emily: I -- I tried to accept that maybe you were ill, maybe you were under pressure from your work, but it just doesn't fit with who you are, Nikolas, and neither does this so-called relationship with Robin, so tell me, what is going on?
Nikolas: I just -- I told you what's going on. I don't know how many other ways to say it.
Emily: Nikolas, listen to me. We agreed to always be honest with each other so, please, tell me the truth. What changed the day that we painted Lucky and Elizabeth's baby room? In the morning you loved me, but in the evening you didnít.
Nikolas: Okay, okay, you want details, I'll give them to you. I blew up at you the other night because -- because I realized that my feelings for Robin weren't just -- they weren't just going to disappear, they weren't just going away.
Emily: What feelings?
Nikolas: Okay -- all right. Uh -- I started visiting her at the hospital after the Metro Court, and -- and we started -- we started talking about the feelings that we had for each other years ago when she was helping me with the aphasia and -- and it just -- it just sort of took off from there and -- and didn't stop. But -- but if -- if I'm being honest with myself, I -- we didn't -- we didn't want it to stop. The only thing that I -- that I really regret is -- is how much it's hurting you right now.
Emily: I don't believe it.
Nikolas: I broke your heart once, Emily. The last thing I want to do is do it again.
Emily: Nikolas, I remember how it felt when you left me for Courtney, and this is so different. I still love you. And I'm not giving up on you, no matter what you say or do.
James: Wow. Wowee. So either you're a terrible actor, or Emily is an extraordinary woman -- perhaps it's a little bit of both. But please tell me, what could you possibly have done to Emily that she could warrant such faith in you?
Sonny: Hey -- listen.
Sonny: Your mom and I -- we love each other very much, we always will. We are a family because of you and Morgan. But we're not going to stay married.
Michael: You said that before.
Sonny: I know we have, but this time we mean it.
Michael: And you said that before, too, but you always got back together.
Sonny: Yes, but we can't keep doing this thing back and forth -- push and pull, mixed signals. We -- we have to be apart. Sometimes you're going to, you know, live with your mother, sometimes you're going to live with me like we've been doing.
Michael: Dad --
Michael: What if Mom gets back together with Jax? What -- what if she marries him? Will you be okay with that?
Sonny: It's her -- it's her decision, buddy. If she wants to, you know, I got to respect that, and you got to -- you got to respect that, also.
Michael: Dad, if you don't do anything, she "will" marry him.
Sonny: You have to leave it alone now, seriously. Okay? It's her life. She has to make that choice. We can't do anything about that. That's it.
Michael: Fine. I'll tell Morgan you don't want to be with Mom anymore.
Carly: Not that I'm implying that -- that fathers aren't wonderful, because Sonny is a wonderful father, he is. He adores Michael and Morgan, and he gives them time and stability -- everything he didn't get from Mike. I'm just -- I'm just afraid what would happen if I get back together with Jax.
Jason: You'd never come between Sonny and the kids.
Carly: No, I wouldnít. I wouldn't do that on purpose, but, you know, Jax would be their stepfather. And he's wonderful with them, too. I know he showers them with presents and he takes them to Disneyland, but he adores them. And he's great and he's involved, and here I am -- full circle, right back to where I was.
Jason: Carly -- you're going to figure it out. Okay? Look, you started out in a bar. Now you own your own hotel, you got two great kids, you got two guys who love you, and you didn't get there because of me. Okay? So whether you like it or not, you're pretty good at figuring out your own life.
Carly: But I was smart enough to latch on to you the second I saw you.
Carly: Well, I promise I won't bug you anymore today --
Jason: Uh --
Carly: But I can't make any promises about tomorrow.
Jason: I'm still not going to be able to help you, Carly.
Carly: You always help me. That's why I keep coming back.
[Door opens and closes]
Sam: I am really excited about hosting this show, and I'm so grateful for this opportunity. I just -- I feel like I've always been a private person, and suddenly I'm in the spotlight? And it's a shock, I suppose?
Amelia: It's perfectly normal to have jitters.
Sam: Okay. Well, do you have any tips on how to make them go away?
Amelia: Fake it, until you learn how to love the attention.
Amelia: Have you ever had to pretend to be someone you weren't?
Sam: Yeah -- sure. I mean, right now I'm pretending to be somebody who really wants to go to a New York party with movers and shakers, when I would rather be home eating Chinese food with my boyfriend.
Amelia: You can do this, Sam. After seeing how you handled yourself after the interviews at the Metro Court ordeal, I have complete faith in you.
Sam: Well, that makes one of us.
Amelia: The paparazzi's waiting. Smile, wave, and pretend you can't hear any questions.
Patrick: Why is this chart logged for transfer?
Nurse: Dr. Ford requested that patient be sent to County.
Patrick: McMillan has acute spinal periosis. As his chart clearly indicates, his sensory motory functions will erode with every passing hour. Ford is going to send him off to [some words missing]
Noah: Hey, if that's McMillanís chart, I need to take it. Thanks.
Patrick: Oh, let me guess. So you and Ford can take care of the rich?
Noah: No, so I can operate on him as soon as Dr. Ford goes home.
Patrick: You go against board and you'll be suspended for violating hospital procedure.
Noah: So will you if you assist. And when Ford finds out, we can tell him both where to stick it.
Patrick: Well, count me in.
Noah: Prep O.R. 1.
Patrick: Wow, you look tense. Trouble in paradise already?
Robin: No trouble at all, but thanks for your concern.
Noah: All right, what's going on with you two?
Patrick: There is no "us two."
Dillon: Ow, ow.
Lulu: Sorry. Are you okay?
Dillon: Yeah, but it's a bruise. I mean, come on.
Mike: Hey, thanks for breaking up that fight. Listen, is this guy Coop going to cause me trouble?
Lulu: Oh, I don't know, but his friend Logan is a loose cannon.
Mike: Okay. All right, I'll keep my eyes open, thanks.
Dillon: Yeah. You know, you got hit a lot worse than I did. I mean, did what Maxie said, like, hurt your fe--
Lulu: Ugh -- Maxie is pathetic.
Dillon: Okay, well -- how about our date? I mean, we can -- honestly, we can still go to the movie right now.
Lulu: Dillon, I --
Dillon: No, I'm -- not -- I'm just saying for fun. I mean, we need some fun. Like no expectations, no strings, but --
Lulu: That's impossible.
Dillon: Why? Why? We were friends before. Look at when we went to the Markham Islands to rescue your dad. It was like -- it was like Lulu and Dillon's excellent adventure where everything was fun. We're a great team.
Lulu: Hmm. Well, I -- yeah, I had such a crush on you then, Dillon. And -- and I don't know if it was love, or if it wasn't, but I really wanted you to want me. And then reality hit us in the face, and --
Dillon: I know, I know, but -- but we got past that, right? And our friendship remained intact and I'm pushing, and you're getting upset. I'll stop, all right? I'm -- I'm sorry; I won't bring it up anymore.
Lulu: Thank you.
Dillon: But can we -- can we not, like, close the door on it? I mean, can we just keep an open mind, so, like, maybe we could try again in the future?
Lulu: Yeah, sure.
[Dillon hits table]
Dillon: That's what I like to hear. See you later.
Lulu: Don't forget that.
Dillon: Thank you.
Logan: For what it's worth -- that stuff Maxie said --
Logan: Was way out of line.
Lulu: How would you know?
Jason: Okay, we're moving the first shipment through The Cellar Tuesday.
Sonny: We'll do this some other time. I got some stuff I got to deal with right now.
Jason: Why? What's going on?
Sonny: Well, Max came by with Michael, and Michael wants me to stay married again, and, you know, be a family, the whole thing.
Jason: Well, what did you say?
Sonny: I told him that we're getting divorced. But he kept pushing and, you know, he said, you know, "I know you still love Mom," and thought of a plan. That's, like, you know, take her out on a romantic dinner, make nice, say she's pretty, and -- and then just tell her that you want to be a, you know, a family again. So I need your help.
Jason: How -- how?
Sonny: Because I need you to go to Michael, he listens to you --
Jason: No, no, no, I canít.
Jason: I can't make this okay for Michael. I'm not his father, you are.
Carly: Hey, Max. What are you doing here?
Michael: Uh -- well, Max took me to -- took me to Dad's, and brought me back.
Carly: What brought that on?
Michael: Well, I -- I told Max to bring me by dad's, so he did.
Carly: Okay. Can you go upstairs for a minute so I can talk to Max?
Michael: Uh -- is he in trouble? Because I thought of it. He -- he didnít.
Carly: I know it was your idea. I need to talk to Max.
Michael: You're okay.
Carly: You don't work for Michael, okay? You know this is all about him wanting me and Sonny back together.
Max: Right, but he wanted to go over and see --
Carly: No, you can't feed into it, it just makes things worse.
Max: Look, I'm sorry, Mrs. C. I didn't mean to upset you.
Carly: I'm not upset with you, okay? I'm not. I'm just -- had this big fight wish Jax, and now I'm so confused, and everything's crazy.
Max: Is there anything I can do to help?
Carly: No, there's nothing anyone can do to help, because it's me, it's all me. I keep insisting that I want to cut Jax out of my life, but the truth is, I still love him.
Jax: That's good. Because I still love you, too.
Lulu: Maxie was right about some of it.
Logan: You slept with your stepbrother?
Lulu: It's none of your business. I don't even know why we're having this conversation.
Logan: Huh. I get why you're so defensive.
Lulu: Oh, now you're playing shrink?
Logan: I'm just saying it's probably pretty tough being trapped in the middle of all this chaos, doing things you never thought you would do.
Lulu: Hmm. Really? I wouldn't know.
Logan: That shell of yours is tough to crack.
Lulu: Then stop trying.
Logan: I will -- for tonight.
Maxie: Do you ever get tired of feeling sorry for yourself?
Jason: Carly keeps coming to me for help. She keeps trying to put me in the middle of you, Jax, and the kids, and you know what? This isn't about me, this is about you and Carly, and you guys need to figure this out on your own.
Sonny: You're absolutely right. But we get so emotional. And we -- you know, we can't be objective, so we go to you, because you're like family to us. You know, you have answers. But it's not fair, you're right.
Jason: Okay, just ask yourself this question. Would the kids be better off if you and Carly divorce, or you stay together as a family?
Sonny: I don't know. I mean, Michael wants me to fight for his mother, but I guess every kid wants their parents to stay together whether it's good for the family or not.
Carly: Show him out, okay?
Jax: I'm not going to -- you just told me you loved me. I'm not going to just leave.
Carly: Now, Max, please.
Jax: You can go, Max.
Carly: Don't you dare leave.
Max: Mrs. C., I --
Carly: No, ignore him. You work for me.
Jax: And me. Haven't you ever wanted a woman, Max, you know, so much that you would do anything to win her affection?
Carly: Donít. Don't play Max, because you are out of here. This is my house.
Jax: You know, you said that this is the healthiest relationship that you've ever been in. That -- that nobody understands you the way I do, that I accept you for who you are. We're made for each other. Why do you have to keep fighting it?
Carly: What are you waiting for? Would you get him out of here, please?
Jax: Okay -- you know what? I will leave if you tell me that you don't love me.
Carly: You can go, Max.
Maxie: I just came down to get some snacks for me and Coop.
Lulu: Ooh, is Coop staying in the same room that you used to sleep with my married brother?
Maxie: How many times were you with Dillon? Was it once or twice before he dumped you?
Lulu: Well, at least I didn't have to slip him pills to get him to sleep with me.
Maxie: No. You just had to lie and break my little sister's heart, but that was the easy part, wasn't it?
Lulu: Hmm. I'm so glad Lucky chose rehab over sleeping with you, which actually makes me wonder how you got Coop in bed. Pills again, or -- or is he sleeping with you to get you to shut up about another dark secret?
Maxie: No. We happen to enjoy each other's company. But we know how to use a condom, so we won't be taking any trips to the abortion clinic within the next few months.
Lulu: Go to hell.
Maxie: That's okay. I'm pretty comfortable upstairs. But I notice you're alone, which is exactly what you deserve. Mike, can I get some cake?
Mike: Oh, yeah. Coming up.
Diane: Well, we've been contacted by the court. Carly is pursuing the divorce.
Sonny: Tell them I won't cooperate.
Diane: Uh-huh. Well, that will put you in a very precarious position. If Carly perceives a divorce without your cooperation, she could stand to walk away with a very sizeable settlement.
Sonny: Diane, she's got money, she's got, you know, a house. All she wants is freedom, so it just gives me some time to talk her into not getting a divorce.
Diane: I suggest that you reevaluate, Sonny. You have far too much to lose.
Sonny: Like what?
Diane: Carly could walk away with anything from several million to community property. She might even win custody of your sons.
Sonny: Oh, that's not going to happen. Carly would never ask for that.
Jax: We agreed to be open with each other, right?
Carly: I was open, and honest. I told you Skye wasn't allowed in our hotel, and you said she was.
Jax: We had a disagreement, okay? It's not the end of the world.
Carly: You didn't respect my feelings, Jax.
Jax: Oh, I'm sorry, because that was not my intention. I love you, and I want us to try again, and I thought you wanted that, too, and now, it seems like you've changed your mind.
Carly: Maybe I have.
Jax: Do you think you're overreacting perhaps, just a little?
Carly: Are you kidding me?
Jax: No, I didn't, okay? Are you pulling away because you're afraid of being hurt again? Is that --
Carly: Skye knew that Alcazar put that briefcase in our vault, okay? And once the hostage crisis started, she had information that would diffuse the entire thing, and she didn't tell anybody!
Jax: But Skye didn't know that violence was going to erupt. I don't know why you keep --
Carly: You are doing it again! You're not listening to me! You just don't get it.
Jax: Why? Because you went through a hostage crisis and I didn't? I mean, is that what you're really angry about?
Sam: Please tell me you haven't eaten yet.
Jason: No, I havenít.
Sam: Well, the party was winding down, Amelia wanted me to stay, but I told her I had to eat dinner with you. Hey. Is something wrong?
Robin: Is he here?
Nikolas: Oh, Mr. Brosnan?
Robin: You know what? I don't even care if he hears, because it's what he wanted anyway. Patrick is furious with me. He keeps making sarcastic remarks and glaring at me every chance that he gets. I have to see him all day long, and he can barely even tolerate my presence.
Nikolas: I'm sorry, Robin.
Robin: I just want to be able to say, you know, "I love you. I am not in love with Nikolas, I'm just --"
Nikolas: Yeah, I know.
Robin: "Being forced to pretend that I do." But you know, I would never do that. I would never -- I would never risk you getting killed.
Nikolas: I'm so sorry that you got pulled into this.
Robin: No, I'm sorry. I -- God, here I am going on and on about myself. What happened with Emily?
Nikolas: She didn't believe it. Huh. She wouldn't believe that I would betray her yet again.
Robin: Wow. Huh.
Robin: Well, what did you say?
Nikolas: What could I say? I just kept up the -- kept up the ruse, and she still -- she still said that she wouldn't give up on me.
Robin: Nikolas, thatís great.
Nikolas: Yeah, right. But, hey, Patrick will do the same --
Robin: Yeah --
Nikolas: Once the real story comes out, I'm sure.
Robin: No. We're not like you and Emily.
Robin: You guys have been through everything -- married, divorced. You've also been with other people. It's -- it's not the same for me and Patrick.
Nikolas: That's not true.
Robin: It took Patrick a really long time to trust me. And now that that trust is broken, it doesn't matter what the reason is. The damage is done.
Patrick: Hey. You see Nikolas?
Emily: Mm-hmm. He said what you told me that he'd say, that he and Robin have known each other for years, hey connected during the hostage crisis, and they want to explore their feelings.
Patrick: I know. I'm sorry. It hurts.
Emily: I don't believe it. Patrick, something else is going on.
Patrick: Yeah, I thought so, too, but trust me, it's just denial.
Emily: No, Nikolas is lying to me for a reason, Patrick. I don't know what it is, but I'm planning to find out. Damn.
Patrick: Hey, are you okay?
Emily: Yeah, I'm fine.
Patrick: Come here.
Sonny: Carly and I -- we've -- we've been through so much together. As you know, we just went through the hostage crisis, right? We -- we worked together through that, as a team. Whenever the chips are down, Carly is always there for me.
Diane: Mm-hmm, right. Spouses --
Diane: Who think that their soon-to-be exes would never be vindictive are usually the ones who fail to protect themselves and get taken to the cleaners.
Sonny: All my assets are offshore, anyway, so --
Diane: What about your sons? Sons aren't offshore. What about custody?
Sonny: Listen to me. Diane, Carly and I have an understanding that we never involve our boys in our personal battles.
Jax: I realize I can never know what you went through in those 12 hours.
Carly: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Jax: For what?
Carly: For just beating you up about this hostage crisis. Going on and on about how you weren't there and you don't understand. Craig's a psychopath, and he shot Robin because he could. And if you would've been there, you would've been hurt or killed, and --
Jax: I wish I could've been there to protect you. I really do.
Carly: I'm okay. You know I'm fine. I am.
Jax: Yeah. Well, you went through a serious trauma. It's going to take time to heal. And if there's anything I can do to make it better --
Carly: You already are making it better.
Carly: There is one thing --
Carly: You can do. You could --
Jax: Name it.
Carly: Take me to dinner in Montreal tomorrow night.
Jax: I'll pick you up at 6:00. Okay?
Sam: You did it again.
Sam: Glanced at the fireplace.
Jason: Are you warm enough? Or is --
Sam: Yes, I'm warm enough. I'm fine, actually, surprisingly. Considering the night I had, I would -- I thought I was going to be tired. Anyways, I'm going to tell you all about it. So Amelia and I pull up and we get out of the limo. And there was all this paparazzi there, and they were taking pictures, and we go into this party, and it was packed wall to wall with -- I like to call them movers and shakers -- all the executives and so forth and so on, and we get in there, and everybody's shaking my hand. They want to meet me, and there's press and more pictures. And I thought I was going to be nervous, and I wasnít. I just kind of went with it.
Amelia: I know Sam left early, but it worked. You know what they say. Always leave them wanting more.
Sam: All these executives were telling me what a hero I was and how they tracked my focus groups and my T.V.Q., I think it was. And then I thought to myself, "Wait a minute. These people don't know me. I'm a commodity to them. I'm just a way for them to make money." And then I thought to myself the only person I can be myself with is you. I mean, you're the only person I can trust.
Man: Our P.I.S came up with another picture.
Amelia: One of Sam's aliases? go
Man: Mm-hmm. The woman you just anchored your show around has married and swindled at least three different guys.
Sam: Being here with you is so much more fun than going to some swanky, fancy party.
Jason: You earned that party, you know that?
Sam: Hmm. I kind of liked it. Well, I mean, for -- for a minute. But you know what makes it worthwhile? Being able to come home to you.
Amelia: I want it all documented and kept under lock and key.
Man: What's the point in keeping it?
Amelia: Let's put it this way. America will tune in while we're building Sam up, and they will be riveted while we tear her down.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
James: Are you always so reckless?
Alexis: Are you always so rude?
Carly: Nothing is going to stop me from spending this night with you. What are you doing here?
Sonny: I wanted to talk to you in person. It's about the strike.
Sam: I want to help you the same way you've always helped me. Please, let me in.
