Carly: I never thought I'd see this place again.

Sonny: It's over, you know. Hmm.

Monica: He's very critical. One more heart attack and that would kill him.

Alan: Is your brother all right?

Emily: Yeah, Jason's fine. He -- he stayed at the hotel to look for Sam.

Luke: Help! I need help over here!

Lucky: Where did you find Lulu?

Luke: She was under a bunch of rubble. She's got glass in her leg. I think she lost a lot of blood.

Russell: Get back so we can examine the patient.

Lucky: Dad -- you found Lulu. Now I'm going to find Elizabeth.

Jason: Elizabeth, I -- I will give you a good life. I'll take care of you and --

Elizabeth: You know I can't marry you.

Jason: Why?

Elizabeth: Lucky and Sam.

Luke: Is she going to be okay?

Russell: We're giving her blood and fluids.

Luke: That doesn't answer the question.

Russell: The glass that was embedded in her leg severed an artery. If you hadn't have found her when you did, she might have bled to death. Now, she suffered significant muscle damage. But with time and physical therapy, she should make a full recovery.

Luke: I'll stay with her.

Lucky: I'll find Elizabeth and meet you at the hospital.

Sam: No, no, no, no, no. I'm going with you. I have to find Jason. Lucky, please.

Lucky: Okay.

Det. Rodriguez: You can't go back in there. The fire marshall's declared the structure unstable.

Sam: Are you kidding me? Jason's in there.

Lucky: Yeah, so is Elizabeth.

Det. Rodriguez: It's all right. We'll be sending the search dogs in there. Now, but at this point, there may not be any more survivors.

Lulu: Dad?

Luke: I'm right here. I'm right here, baby. How are you feeling?

Lulu: I'm alive.

Luke: Yeah, okay. We're going to get you to the hospital, patch up your leg. You're going to be just fine, good as new.

Lulu: I knew you'd come find me.

Luke: Oh, always, sweetheart.

Monica: Well, it's a waiting game now. If he can stabilize, he just might make it through.

Tracy: Monica, how's Alan?

Monica: He's very weak. And he doesn't need any agitation.

Tracy: I'm not going to agitate him. I want him alive as much as you do.

Alan: The surgery you performed on Robin was grace under pressure.

Emily: Hmm. I just did what Patrick told me to do.

Alan: Robin owes her life to you

Emily: And I owe my career to you. Dad, I wanted to be a doctor because you showed me day in and day out how much it matters to care for people.

Alan: You don't have to flatter me.

Emily: Okay, do you remember that long weekend that we spent on Long Island --

Alan: Mm-hmm.

Emily: A few months after you and Mom adopted me? We went to that huge party with the ice sculptures. I couldnt {word missing] you know, all those kids were so spoiled. They were boasting about the millions their fathers were making.

Alan: Mm-hmm. The host had a heart attack.

Emily: Mm-hmm. He collapsed on the dance floor. Everybody froze. They were totally helpless. But you -- you knelt down beside him, and you saved his life.

Alan: It was a pretty simple procedure.

[Emily chuckles]

Emily: Not allowed to be modest, Dad. You were amazing. The same guy who used to make me laugh by playing Sydney the bear was saving someone's life. That's the day I knew you were my hero.

Alan: How did I get so lucky?

[Emily laughs]

Alan: Hmm, hmm, hmm.

Emily: I'm the lucky one. And that surgery I performed on Robin -- it's exactly what you would have done in my place.

Skye: How's Alan?

Monica: Oh --

Tracy: How dare you show your face?

Monica: You get out, or I will throw you out.

Carly: We got to call Michael and Morgan. You know, they've got to be worried sick.

Sonny: Yeah, go ahead.

[Phone rings]

Bobbie: Hello?

Carly: Mom?

Bobbie: Oh -- Carly, thank God. Oh, when I heard the building exploded, I -- I was just so -- are you okay?

Carly: Yeah, we're fine. We're fine. Just a few bumps and bruises, but Sonny's okay. How are Michael and Morgan?

Bobbie: They're both asleep. Leticia brought them over last night and -- well, you know Morgan. He's so young. He's too young to understand anything, but -- well, Michael -- um -- Jason promised him that you and -- and Sonny were going to be okay, so I will tell them both that Jason was absolutely right, as soon as they wake up.

Carly: Okay. Well -- um -- we're going to get cleaned up and we'll be right over to get the boys, okay?

Bobbie: Okay. All right, honey? Take your time, all right? I love you.

Carly: I love you, too. Michael and Morgan are fine because Jason promised him we'd be okay.

Sonny: Don't worry. Jason's going to be okay, too. You know that.

Jason: You don't want to hurt Lucky; I don't want to hurt Sam. But we have created this life. And -- I mean, we have the privilege of loving this baby and giving it the best that we can offer.

Elizabeth: So you would choose this baby over Sam?

Jason: No.

[Jason sighs]

Jason: No. I'm just saying it would be selfish of me to put my happiness ahead of this child. And I'm not -- I'm not going to do it.

Elizabeth: You assume this child would be better off if we were married.

Jason: Do you think I'm wrong?

Elizabeth: Our lives don't fit together. I have made too many choices that have taken me too far away from who you are and how you live. I want to marry you. Just like I want to be a famous artist who lives in Italy, and win a gold medal for figure skating. They're beautiful dreams, but they're not real.

Jason: We made a child

Elizabeth: And I will always be grateful for that. But I can't be with you.

Monica: You have no right to be here.

Emily: Hey, Dad, see if you can get some sleep, okay? I'll be right back.

Tracy: Only family and friends are allowed to visit.

Emily: Hey, what's going on?

Monica: Skye is not welcome here and she has to leave.

Emily: Skye's family.

Tracy: Skye is a blatant opportunist who doesn't give a damn about the Quartermaines, least of all Alan.

Skye: That is a lie.

Tracy: You are as heartless as your baby's father.

Monica: No, you are worse. Alcazar has no allegiance to the family, but you call yourself a Quartermaine and you let that entire family walk into that hotel knowing full well there was something in that vault that people would literally kill for!

Skye: I had idea that was going to happen.

Monica: Oh!

Tracy: But if you had spoken up, your supposed father wouldn't be lying in there fighting for his life.

Monica: And I have to go check o his test results. You get out of here.

Tracy: I'm going to give an update to my father. You better be gone when I get back.

Carly: Jason still had his mask on when the cops stormed the lobby. What if they shot him?

Sonny: You know Jason knows how to survive a shootout.

Carly: Not if he had to save someone, Sonny. Okay, I'm not going to do this. I'm not. I'm just not going to do this. I'm not going to go crazy like I do every time he's shot. He's going to be fine, right?

Sonny: Jason is resourceful. He thinks on his feet. He's been through a lot worse than this.

Carly: I know.

Sonny: You know that, right?

Carly: I know, and he's probably going to go call any minute and tell us he's fine. And if he doesn't, I'll never forgive him.

Sonny: Jason's fine. You okay? Huh?

Carly: Yeah, I'm just -- I'm just tired, and I'm filthy, and I need a bath, that's all.

Sonny: Well, don't let me stop you.

Carly: You were amazing today.

Sonny: Yeah, so were you. But you should have -- you should have left when Craig was going to release you, you know.

Carly: I wasn't going to leave you.

[Siren]

Sam: Hey. It's only been a couple hours. I'm sure there's going to be more survivors.

Lucky: If Elizabeth and Jason are still in there, why haven't they come out yet?

Sam: I -- I don't know. Maybe they're trapped or something. They've got to be under some debris.

Lucky: What are the odds that a woman six months pregnant could survive a blast like that? I mean, even if Elizabeth did, I don't see how that baby could.

Sam: Look, I know you are really worried about your baby, and it's really hard for you to just stand out here and wait, but we have to keep up hope, okay? That's all we have.

Lucky: Yeah.

Officer: Yes, we spotted a man fitting Craigs description on Bancroft Street.

Sam: What -- what are you doing?

Lucky: Craig's headed for the harbor. I'm going to find that bastard and make him pay.

Jason: Any idea what happens next?

Elizabeth: None.

Jason: You know, I was guarding you and Sam for a while, and you guys didn't know it.

Elizabeth: Oh, God, I hope I didn't say anything too embarrassing.

Jason: You mostly talked about the baby. And I heard Sam say that she was jealous of you.

Elizabeth: She hates the fact that we slept together. And now I have what she wants most in the whole world -- your baby. And of course she should know, but I --

[Noise]

Jason: Hello? Can you hear us? There's a pregnant woman trapped down here!

Man: We hear you!

Jason: Okay, we're in an elevator. I think we're in the basement. Um -- the doors and the overhead hatch are jammed.

Man: Is the woman injured?

Elizabeth: No, I'm okay.

Jason: No, we're not hurt, but you're going to have to be careful getting her out. She's six months pregnant.

Man: Can we get your names?

Jason: Elizabeth Webber and Jason Morgan.

Elizabeth: Can you please tell Lucky Spencer that I'm okay?

Man: We'll take care of it.

Jason: Wait, wait, wait. Um -- do you know if Sam McCall got out before the explosion?

Man: She's the big hero. She warned the cops to get the hostages. You want us to tell her you're okay?

Jason: Yeah, thanks.

Man: Okay, listen, there's a lot of debris on top of this car. Sit tight while we get some equipment in here.

Elizabeth: We made it. We're going to be okay.

Skye: Alan is a wonderful, loving man. He's been more of a father to me than I could've ever have hoped for. I love him very much.

Emily: Yeah, I know. I know, Skye. Monica and Tracy are just being overprotective.

Skye: Well, I am Alans daughter.

Emily: Hmm.

Skye: Whether Tracy or Monica approve or not. I have every right to see him.

Emily: Yes, you do. So just go in there and -- and try not to upset him, okay? He's very fragile.

Skye: Thank you.

Nikolas: Hey -- hey. Listen, I just got a call from the scene. They found Elizabeth and Jason trapped in an elevator. They're fine, they're fine.

Emily: Oh, God.

Nikolas: They're digging them out as we speak. They're okay.

Emily: Okay. Um -- I'm going to go in there. I'm going to tell my dad.

Nikolas: Okay, okay.

Skye: Those gunmen were after Lorenzos briefcase. I knew he had a dangerous shipment at the Metro Court vault, but I didn't say anything because I was trying to protect the father of my baby.

Alan: You couldn't have known any of this was going to happen.

Skye: But even after you were al taken hostage, I didn't say anything. I kept silent about what I knew -- to protect Lorenzo. I never meant to hurt you, Alan.

Tracy: I see you made it out in one piece.

Lulu: Yeah, my dad found me. He got this beam off my leg, then he carried me out.

Tracy: Oh. Well, I stand corrected.

Luke: You do?

Tracy: I told you to stay the way and let the professional rescue her, and so it turns out you were right. You were the one she needed all along.

Lulu: Thanks, Dad.

Luke: Anytime, cupcake.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Hello?

Sonny: Well, that's great news. Thanks for calling.

Det. Rodriguez: Hey. The firefighters spoke with Jason and Elizabeth. He said they're both doing okay.

Sam: Oh, my -- can I go in?

Det. Rodriguez: No, no, no. It's still too dangerous. As soon as I have some information, I'll let you know, okay?

Sam: Oh, thank you.

Det. Rodriguez: No problem.

Man: You're the woman who climbed out of the hotel and warned the police.

Det. Rodriguez: Yeah, this is Sam McCall. She's the reason we were able to storm the hotel in time to save the hostages.

Sam: I don't want to do this.

Det. Rodriguez: It's going to come out sooner or later, Sam. You saved a lot of lives. You're a hero.

Sam: Oh. Reporter: I'm here with Sam McCall, the courageous hostage who made a daring escape and warned police of the impending explosion. Sam, you saved many people's lives today. Tell us what happened.

Sam: Um -- well, I -- I work in the hotel and I knew that there was an access to a ledge on the second floor. And -- um -- look, I was just trying to help. I am not a hero. I just happened to be in the right place -- at the right time.

[Carly sighs]

Carly: Oh, man --

[Knock on door]

Carly: Yes?

Sonny: They found Jason.

Carly: Sonny?

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: You can come in.

Carly: So, where'd they find him?

Sonny: He was in an elevator car. Elizabeth was with him.

Carly: I wonder how she managed that.

Sonny: Carly --

Carly: I know. I know. I'm happy he's alive. I am.

Sonny: Yeah, the -- the fire crews just got to clear out some debris, and Elizabeth and Jason will be out soon.

Carly: I knew he'd be okay. It's just -- it's really good to hear it, you know. It's over.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah.

Elizabeth: I didn't realize how scared I was. I'm going to be so glad to just get home.

Jason: Yeah. Listen, it's going to take a while to dig us out.

Elizabeth: Are you okay?

Jason: What's going to happen to our child? You say we can't raise it together. Are you -- are you going to let me see the baby? Will he or she have my name?

Elizabeth: I know you have legal rights, but I'm really hoping that --

Jason: I'm not taking you to court. Every custody battle has been a nightmare, especially for the child. I would like to provide for our baby, be involved in his or her life.

Elizabeth: I would never shut you out of this child's life. But there are other people involved. I mean, Lucky still thinks that this is his baby. Sam is hoping to have a baby with you. I'm just not sure that either one of them is ready to hear the truth.

Jason: You think Sam and Lucky would be hurt less if we wait?

Elizabeth: Lucky went into rehab because of this baby. He stayed clean because of this baby. When he finds out it's not his -- I don't want him to go back to using drugs.

Jason: I know, but the lies are just going to make everything worse, but --

Elizabeth: I'm not doing this to protect myself, okay? If he hates me and he never wants to see me again, I'll understand. I just don't want him to throw away his life by giving in to his addiction.

Jason: What's it matter whether you -- you tell him now or in two weeks? I --

Elizabeth: Well, hopefully by then, everything will have calmed down, and -- I'm praying that Lulu and Nikolas and Emily are okay and they'll be able to help him accept this and move on.

Jason: If -- if Lucky loves you, it won't matter that the baby's mine.

Alan: I don't blame you for any of this, Skye. You couldn't have known those men would storm the hotel.

Skye: No, I didn't, but once I found out, maybe I could've done something to --

Alan: Listen, it's over. There's no point looking back.

Skye: You had a heart attack. You couldn't even get help because you were being held hostage.

Alan: It's not your fault.

Skye: I'm just -- there's so many things that I -- I wish I had done differently.

Alan: Listen to me. If you made any mistakes, I forgive you.

Skye: I don't deserve you.

Alan: Don't be silly. You've been a joy to me from the first second we ever met.

Skye: I love you, Alan. You're the only father I'll ever want.

Luke: You know, my daughter turned out to be an amazing, smart, gutsy young woman -- no thanks to me.

Tracy: She's her father's daughter.

Luke: She has her mother's beauty and heart.

Tracy: Here's what I know about you. When things get a little tough, you throw in the towel, say you tried, and you hit the road.

Luke: It's a possibility.

Tracy: How about I make a deal with you? Next time I see you packing the bags, I'll remind you of this conversation, and your new parental resolve.

Luke: Deal.

Spinelli: Hmm. Greetings, Wicked Stepmother. Uh -- is -- is the Blond One out of surgery yet?

Luke: "The Blond One"? Who is this?

Tracy: This would be Spumoni -- Spaghetti -- I don't know -- something. He needs to stay afar away from Lulu as possible.

Spinelli: Wait -- are -- are you the father of the Blond One?

Luke: Oh -- well, if The Blond One is Lesley Lu Spencer, I am.

Spinelli: Yeah. Oh -- most gracious greetings -- um -- proud patriarch. Your -- your daughter is the most beautiful, courageous -- um -- sorry, you can have that back. Um -- she's a little impulsive and hard to rescue, but she's by far the most completely awesome human I have ever met.

Tracy: Do you see my point? Not only is he riffraff, but he's unintelligible. He is a bad influence on Lulu.

Spinelli: No, no, no, not true, father of the Blond One. I went into the hotel to save her, okay? We have this amazing connection.

Luke: You and Lulu?

Spinelli: Yeah. I mean, she was most appreciative of my efforts, and don't tell anybody, but I think she has a crush on me. Just a little one.

Sonny: That's a pretty tough bruise you got there.

Carly: Yeah. It's turning a lovely shade of purple, don't you think?

Sonny: Does it hurt?

Carly: When I lift my arm, it hurts.

Sonny: It's going to be pretty hard to wash your hair.

Singer: It's not the pale moon that excites me

[Sonny sighs]

Singer: That thrills and delights me oh, no

Sonny: Does that feel good?

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Singer: It's just the nearness

Carly: It's wonderful.

Singer: Of you --

Sonny: I'll get some water.

Singer: It isn't your sweet conversation that brings this sensation oh, no it's just the nearness of you

Singer: When you're in my arms and I feel you so close to me all my wildest dreams came true

Singer: I need no soft lights to enchant me

Sonny: Oh. God, I've missed you.

Carly: I've missed you, too.

Carly: You got to go. You have to go.

Dillon: Hey, hey. How's -- how's Lulu?

Luke: In surgery.

Spinelli: Uh, yeah. Um -- you know, I'll -- I'll text you when she gets out, so you can just --

Dillon: Oh, you will -- how about I text you when she gets out?

Milo: How's Lulu?

Dillon: Oh, no. Jeez.

Luke: What the hell is this, the Three Stooges?

Dillon: Um -- really? Really? You're lumping me in with them, really?

Milo: I came -- I came as soon as I heard.

Spinelli: Yeah, the Blond One's in surgery.

Dillon: Yeah, and that means -- that means family only, so actually, you should really go back to Sonny and, you know, bodyguard.

Milo: Uh-huh. It's okay. I'll -- I'll wait.

Tracy: Do you see the problem?

Spinelli: Okay, dude, you know --

[Spinelli chuckles]

Spinelli: You know, I think the Blond One really apprecia-- appreciates your -- your muscle. You know, as we all do, but, um, you -- she thinks you're a great guy --

Milo: She does? Really?

Spinelli: Yeah, but see, Film Guy here is staking his claim, and you know, he's her stepbrother, so -- dude, you're her stepbrother.

Dillon: Oh, come --

Spinelli: Isn't that, like, illegal to date her in some states?

Dillon: No, not in this state, thank you very much.

Spinelli: Oh --

Dillon: And not that I ever wanted, you know --

Spinelli: Okay, you're missing the point, oh, most incestuous one, okay? Lulu has seen The Jackal in action, and, I mean, you know, once you see that, it's kind of hard to go back to anything else -- I'm just saying.

Milo: Oh, okay, but -- but you left Lulu in the -- in the lobby when the -- the hotel exploded? Is that how it was?

Spinelli: He's lying!

Dillon: Shh! It's not even worth arguing about, because you're delusional, for one, okay? And you're just a bag of muscle --

Tracy: Enough, enough, enough! Would you act like a responsible parent, please? Kick mob boy and hacker to the curb, and tell that one he is forbidden to date his stepsister.

Lucky: Listen, did a man come this way?

Man: No.

Lucky: He was about 5'11", sandy blond hair. He was headed this way.

Man: I didn't see him, I swear. Please, don't shoot.

Lucky: Damn it. I'm going to find you. Ugh.

James: Dear, dear, dear -- very, very sloppy work, Officer.

Lucky: Damn it.

James: But I'm most grateful for the weapon.

Lucky: You're never going to get away.

James: Well, you seem to be the only member of Port Charles' finest who's not in the hotel. Why aren't you with them sifting through the rubble?

Lucky: Because my pregnant wife was in that hotel.

James: Oh. I am sorry. I think I stepped over Elizabeths body as I was going out of the building.

Elizabeth: This is supposed to be a Spencer baby. Luke if it's a boy, and Laura if it's a girl. Lucky is not going to feel the same once he knows you're the father.

Jason: I don't know what to say. It's -- it's his loss. I --

Elizabeth: I watched him build a life around a child that doesn't exist. I can't take it away from him all at once. I just need a little time.

Jason: I got to tell Sam. I mean, I'd want to know the truth. I owe her the same respect.

Elizabeth: She's the one who started all this, Jason. She's the one who betrayed you.

Jason: I know, Elizabeth, but --

Elizabeth: And if I can just --

Jason: I need to tell -- I need to tell her.

Elizabeth: All right, fine. Fine. Then I'm going to have to tell Lucky, too, and just pray to God that he's not going to jump off the deep end.

Jason: Why -- why are you so frustrated?

Elizabeth: Because someone I love is going to get hurt because I've handled everything wrong. And yes, realize I am being a hypocrite. Because you're the one who's been lied to, and I'm the one that's getting upset.

Jason: I need you to promise me that we're going to trust each other. That you're going to do whatever you feel is right for our -- our child.

Elizabeth: What? You continue to trust me when I've been so unfair to you?

Jason: Just promise me.

Elizabeth: I promise you. I promise to trust you, and -- and to do what's best for this baby.

Firefighter: You okay in there?

Jason: Yeah, we're fine.

Firefighter: Okay, we got the hatch cleared, but the debris in the elevator shaft is pretty unstable. So we got to get you out fast.

Jason: Okay, you're going to take Elizabeth first.

Firefighter: All right. We'll send down a harness.

Jason: It's time to go. We're going to make it through this.

Alan: You're scared.

Monica: Didn't expect that, did you?

Alan: Your life would be much more peaceful without me.

Monica: I took you for granted. And that is not going to happen again. Because I realize just how much I love you.

Alan: I love you, too. So stop worrying. Because I intend to spend the next few decades telling you so.

Maxie: What are you doing here?

Three: I need your help.

Dillon: Mom, I'm not dating Lulu.

Milo: Because you've got another girlfriend, right?

Spinelli: Come on, wake up, workout man! Okay, Film Guy can deny it all he wants, but he's got romantic intentions towards the Blond One!

Dillon: Oh -- oh, what, I can't be concerned about my friend, who happens to be having an operation?

Tracy: Are you paying attention?

Spinelli: You always -- are always finding really lame excuses to hang out with her, okay?

Dillon: Dude, she -- I mean, her dad is married to my mom. We live in the same house!

Spinelli: Sister.

Milo: Be a little more defensive, huh?

Dillon: Be a little more jealous.

Spinelli: Okay, guys, guys, guys -- okay, look, she and I just spent all night together in a really perilous situation. The danger has bonded us together, so, I mean, stop wasting your time.

Milo: All right, all right -- neither of you have any idea how to treat Lulu, or -- or what the -- give her the respect she deserves, for that matter.

Dillon: Oh, come --

Spinelli: Dude, that is so not true! Come on! And my respect for the Blond One has -- has reached new cosmic proportions, and I think everyone knows how she feels about me, so --

Tracy: Don't just stand there. Do something!

Luke: All right, all right. As father of the blond one in question, I have something to say. If Lulu chooses to date one, none, or all of you, it's none of my business. It's her choice.

[Dillon and Spinelli cough]

Lucky: Elizabeth and my baby are -- are dead?

James: Most of the office corridor collapsed, but she was crushed under a support beam. If it's any comfort, I don't believe she suffered.

Lucky: You better put that bullet through my heart on the first shot, or I'm going to break your neck.

[Elizabeth coughs]

Epiphany: Oh, hey.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Epiphany: We've been waiting for you.

Elizabeth: Yeah?

Epiphany: How are you feeling?

Elizabeth: Um -- the baby's been kicking hard. I just need to make sure it's okay.

Epiphany: Okay. Well, we're going to check for some fetal heart tones, okay?

Elizabeth: Please.

Sam: You're okay.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Sam: Where's Jason?

Elizabeth: Uh -- I mean, he's -- he's coming there was -- the debris was shifting, so he -- he asked that they get me out first.

Sam: Is he hurt?

Elizabeth: He was fine when I left him. The elevator car -- it's in the basement, so they have to be really careful bringing him out.

Sam: The elevator fell when the lobby exploded? Wait, and you're not hurt?

Elizabeth: He shielded me. I was so confused when all the shooting started. If he hadn't grabbed me and pulled me into the elevator, I don't think I would have lived through this.

Epiphany: Well, don't worry about it. The baby's okay.

Sam: I'm really happy for you.

Elizabeth: Thanks.

Sam: Jason. God.

[Knock on door]

Singer: When you're in my arms and I feel you so close to me all my wildest dreams came true

Singer: I need no soft lights to enchant me if you will only grant me the right to hold you ever so tight and to feel in the night the nearness of you

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Sam: You saved Elizabeth and the baby.

Elizabeth: Your daddy knows the truth. I'm going to have to tell Lucky.

Lucky: If Elizabeth and my baby are dead, I would rather be with them.

Jason: A lot has happened, and I need to tell you about it.
