Lucky: Maxie looks like she's about to burst into tears. What did you say to her?

Elizabeth: What? Why do you automatically assume this is my fault?

Lucky: Just fill me in and I'll decide.

Elizabeth: Fine. I'd be more than happy to.

Maxie: No. If Lucky's going to hear this, he'll hear it from me. What Elizabeth is dying to tell you is that she thinks I faked my pregnancy and my miscarriage. She's right. I did.

Tracy: So your father was a con artist?

Sam: Common knowledge.

Tracy: And you worked as his accomplice sometimes?

Sam: Yes, I did. Ancient history.

Tracy: So was Angela Monroe a name you adopted when you struck out on your own?

Sam: Tracy, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Skye: Oh, I can't believe you're awake.

Lorenzo: Yeah, I appear to be. Why are you crying?

Skye: Oh -- oh, okay. Let's take your pick -- um -- there's something in my eye, or I've decided I hate the color of these walls, or how about I am so happy to be looking in those beautiful blue eyes again?

Judge: I don't understand. Is there a problem?

Sonny: No, there's no problem.

Judge: Uh -- shall we continue?

Sonny: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Judge: Ahem. "Caroline Leigh Corinthos, do you take this man to be your husband? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him --"

Carly: I canít. I -- I canít.

Sonny: Carly, Carly, come on. Please, don't --

Lorenzo: If you'd done that sooner, I wouldn't have been out of it for so long. Was I out of it long?

Skye: Days. Do you remember anything?

Lorenzo: I remember standing in Sonny's office holding a gun, was threatening to shoot him. Did I?

Skye: No. Sonny shot you in the head.

Lorenzo: Great. Tell me.

Skye: Well, apparently, Carly showed up, which was just the distraction that Sonny needed to grab his gun and fire -- so now they're claiming self-defense. Anyway, you were rushed here in extremely critical condition. It was really touch-and-go there for a while. And then Patrick Drake performed a very risky brain operation which you should've come out of days ago, but you didn't because there was a complication.

Lorenzo: A medical complication?

Skye: No. I went home to check on Lila Rae. When I came back, I found out that somebody had injected some kind of lethal drug into your I.V. and I -- I assumed it had something to do with that mysterious shipment you were expecting, because all of a sudden, out of the blue, this man appeared, claimed to be your business associate, asking all kinds of questions which I had no idea how to answer.

Lorenzo: What man?

James: Me.

Lulu: This is my fault.

Sonny: What are you talking about?

Lulu: Oh, Carly didn't want me to bring the boys, but they wanted to be here. And I thought it was going to help, but now it's made this huge mess, and I'm going to fix it. I'm going to fix it.

Sonny: Can you help Lulu? Carly will listen to you.

Jason: You're the groom. You need to get her, Sonny.

[Knock on door]

Lulu: Carly? I'm really sorry that I brought the boys, but would you just come out so I can explain -- or, at least let me in?

Carly: Lulu, please, just go away.

Lulu: Carly, your kids just wanted to see you go through with this marriage so that they know that their dad would be safe. Okay? I -- I don't know why Mike and Bobbie showed up, and I -- I didn't know that you were going to freak out. I thought I was helping, but I -- I can take them home if you want. And, for what it's worth, Michael really does get it. He knows that you're marrying Sonny only to help him. So, Carly, it's really okay.

Carly: No, Lulu, it really sucks.

Sonny: If I go after Carly, we're going to end up fighting; she's going to get hurt. I don't want that. I just -- I just want to get married today, that's all.

Jason: This marriage is what you need for legal purposes, for Carly to save you. Don't confuse that with what you think you want.

Sonny: What are you trying to say to me?

Jason: I see something. I'm just trying to keep you honest.

Sonny: Okay. I get that.

Michael: Hey, Dad? I'm sorry. Me and Morgan -- we kind of forced Lulu to come down here. And now Mom's too mad to get married, and you're going to go to jail.

Sonny: Buddy, it's not going to happen, okay? Your mom and I are going to get married today. I promise.

Carly: You know, you actually did me a favor, Lulu. Because the second I saw those innocent faces with false hope, I knew that I couldn't go through with this wedding. You know, that Sonny and I pretending to be married is just going to confuse them more than they already are, so it's fine. Lulu? Lulu? Jason, I know you're out there. Okay? And it's -- you're wasting your time, and you can just save your breath, because no matter what you say, I am not going to come out and marry Sonny.

Tracy: You don't have to be self-conscious. We have all done things we're not proud of in our youth. In fact, when I think of the things that I wish --

Sam: Like I said, I don't know of anyone named Angela Monroe, and I've certainly never called myself that.

Tracy: Really? Is that true? Oh, I'm so embarrassed. I'm sorry. I apologize. I was misinformed. Although, I -- I have to admit I do find that a little surprising, because as far as P.I.s go, Mr. Dickenson is usually very, very accurate. But you know what? I'm going to chalk it up to one more con. No level too low to sink to make a buck -- hate people like that -- not as much as my father, however.

Sam: You know what, Tracy? I would love to just hang out with you and spend the day and just chat away, but I've got a lot of work to do. I've got to bring these papers over to E.L.Q. I've got to pick up some contracts for Edward to sign for the merger. Remember -- work?

Tracy: Of course you do. The, um, trucking company and the dog food people.

Sam: Cat food.

Tracy: Right. What a clever idea. I can't believe I didn't think of it myself.

Sam: Well, sometimes when you've got a new pair of eyes looking at something -- I don't know -- bells go off.

Tracy: I was wondering if I could trouble you just for one more favor? Then I wouldn't have to go to my father at all. Could you tell me what kind of bells go off when you look at this -- Angela?

Emily: Hey. Is everything okay?

Nikolas: No. No. I -- I would say it isnít.

Agent: Yeah, apparently -- a Cassadine pattern. Prince Cassadine here feels he's too good for the airport security measures that apply to everyone else.

Nikolas: No, I -- I don't believe that I'm above anything. I just happen to be in a hurry.

Agent: Then perhaps you shouldn't have landed here.

Nikolas: We needed fuel.

Agent: And I need answers to a few more questions, then you can be on your --

Nikolas: I -- I can't afford to sit on my thumbs while you indulge in a power trip.

Agent: The first thing you can do is give me one good reason why I shouldn't "put you on your thumbs" in a detention cell.

Emily: Will the truth suffice?

Lucky: This makes no sense. How could you fake a pregnancy? You were being examined by doctors. I -- I saw blood work, a sonogram. You started to show.

Maxie: I know you can't wait to show Lucky your proof, so feel free.

Elizabeth: The blood test that Maxie used to convince everybody she was pregnant belonged to another woman.

Maxie: On second thought, this is my story. I thought I was dead in the water when Mac decided to be all paternal and insist I get a prenatal care exam from Dr. Lee. But a woman came in having a false labor, and they drew her blood. So I took the vial and put my name on the label. The sonogram -- I stole that. And I put a pillow underneath my clothes to show.

Lucky: Oh. This is so unbelievable. I mean, how long did you think you could pull off a scam like this?

Maxie: I knew I was on borrowed time, but you came through for me at the exact right moment -- that night at Kellyís when you got mad and were accusing me of planting drugs in your desk drawer? I was on my period; I knew I could fake a miscarriage, so --

Lucky: Okay --

Maxie: I fell.

Lucky: Who are you?

Lucky: Do you have any idea what you put Elizabeth and me through, thinking that I was having a baby with somebody else? Pretending to lose a baby and be in mourning? Damn it, Maxie, you're just sick!

Maxie: I was in mourning -- for the girl I was before I looked in the mirror and saw a pathetic loser who had to fake a pregnancy to get you to notice me, to distract you from your fixation on a woman who doesn't even want you anymore.

Lucky: Don't make this my fault.

Maxie: I'm not. I'm trying to get you to see what motivated me. When I looked at you, Lucky, I saw the man I loved. But when you looked at me, you saw an easy way to get high and laid. But what you missed was how good we were together. And I thought if I could hold on to you for just a little bit longer, you might see that.

Lucky: I want you to listen very carefully, and know without a shadow of a doubt that you are, by far, the worst mistake I ever made in my life. I want you to go. And you stay away from me and Elizabeth.

Maxie: Of course -- it always comes back to Elizabeth. But you know what, Lucky? She still doesn't want you, and that leaves you with no one. So I guess, in the end, we all get what we deserve.

Lucky: Whoa. What a fool I've been.

Elizabeth: That's not true.

Emily: You've got to forgive Nikolas. He is used to getting his way. Huh. But more than anything, he is a father who's in hell because someone kidnapped his little boy.

Agent: Is this true?

Nikolas: Unfortunately, it is.

Emily: There are plenty of numbers in the states that you can call to verify it.

Agent: There's no need. I can see the truth in Mr. Cassadineís eyes. I apologize for the delay. I shall have you cleared for takeoff immediately.

Emily: Thank you.

Agent: I wish you luck in your search.

Nikolas: Thank you.

Emily: Oh.

Nikolas: And thank you.

Emily: Well, someone has to step in and save you.

Nikolas: You want to know why I didn't tell that agent what was really going on?

Emily: Yeah, if you want.

Nikolas: Because every time I hear myself say that my son's been kidnapped, it makes me feel so incompetent, unworthy of the blessing of a son. Spencer was stolen right out from under my nose. How -- how does a father let that happen?

Emily: You've got to stop blaming yourself. You had no idea that Colleen was going to do this.

[Nikolas sighs]

Nikolas: You didn't trust her. I should've listen to you. Now my -- my son's been stolen by my grandmother because I was too stupid or blind to see what's right in front of me.

Emily: Okay, Nikolas, you have got to get control of your temper. If Helena realizes that we're on to her, she's going to use your emotions against you and disappear with Spencer for good.

Nikolas: Well, you're right -- come here -- again.

[Emily chuckles]

Nikolas: At the end of this, when Spencer is at home and safe, it's only because I had you to help. Okay?

Skye: Mr. Craig showed quite an interest in your recovery.

Lorenzo: Is that so?

Skye: Hmm. He looked in on you more than once. He expressed concern about this shipment you two were expecting, enough so that he asked me to clarify the details of its arrival.

James: But your lady was a daunting combination of charm and discretion. She told me nothing.

Lorenzo: My "lady" is as smart as she is beautiful. She knows not to trust a man just because he claims to be trustworthy.

Skye: Lorenzo, you've just regained consciousness. Do you want me to call a doctor?

Lorenzo: No. I think Mr. Craig and I have a few things to discuss -- alone, if you don't mind?

Skye: Okay. I guess I could go call and check on Lila Rae.

Lorenzo: Hey, hey -- this shouldn't take long.

Skye: Well, then neither will I.

James: I supposed you're going to take exception to -- to my asking Skye a few harmless questions.

Lorenzo: If you wanted to back out of the deal, you should've said so -- instead of trying to kill me.

Tracy: I think the photographer has quite a gift -- you look beautiful. However, I certainly understand why you would want to keep Angela Monroe tucked away. I mean, what would my father think if he saw that?

Sam: What do you want, Tracy?

Tracy: Oh, I want your immediate resignation from E.L.Q. Come up with a plausible explanation that will satisfy my father and deflect responsibility from me. You accomplish that, and this photograph and all the other juicy tidbits that Mr. Dickenson has come up with will be destroyed. And you will be able to sleep soundly, secure in the knowledge that nobody -- especially Jason -- will ever have a clue.

Jason: Carly, I -- I knew you would do this -- and you probably did, too -- so just go ahead and let it all out, all right? Then, please, come out here, and go back in there and marry Sonny.

Carly: If I marry Sonny, it means I have to give up Jax, and I'm not going to do it.

Jason: No -- no one's asking you to give up Jax.

Carly: Sonny is! You know his tricks -- he's going to look at me with those puppy-dog eyes and he's going to try to make this marriage real and emotional and binding. And you know what? Not because he's so scary in love with me -- because he doesn't want to lose to Jax.

Jason: What if it is about love?

Diane: Sonny? I am your lawyer, so I'll do whatever you pay me to do.

Sonny: Good to know.

Diane: But I'm also a woman.

Sonny: Yeah, I've -- I've noticed that.

Diane: And as such, I have a great deal of empathy for Carly.

Sonny: What does that mean?

Diane: What it means is, why don't you consider telling Carly and Jason and your very worried children that the police have the woman in custody who planted the gun for Alcazar? That your plea of self-defense is going to fly?

Sonny: Okay --

Diane: And that there's no longer any need for a phony marriage to Carly.

Sonny: This is a very difficult situation. And I've come too far now. I -- I can't tell the truth.

Diane: Yes, obviously, because in this case, the truth would not set you free. But how about telling it because Carly is in love with someone else?

Sonny: Diane, you don't know me very well, so you're going to have to take my word on this. I know that deep down inside, Carly loves me more.

Carly: Jason, you know better than anyone that I have never completely fallen out of love with Sonny. But we can't be married without wrecking each other or emotionally scarring our children, which makes this decision really easy for me.

Jason: It's temporary, Carly. I told you I would fly you down to the Dominican Republic as soon as Sonny was cleared.

Carly: Why should I believe you? You're on Sonny's side, you always are.

Jason: Not this time. Listen to me, if you step up for Sonny, I will get you that divorce as soon as possible. You have my word, Carly.

Elizabeth: You aren't the only one Maxie fooled. Everybody thought she was pregnant -- from her family to the doctors. And she was diabolical enough to time her fall and her miscarriage with her period, so no one was any the wiser there, either.

Lucky: I'm a cop; I'm supposed to be able to read people.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but you had no reason to suspect Maxie of anything, so you took her at face value. You wanted to do right by the child you thought you created. There's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, you should be proud of yourself. You stood by your principles. You had no way of knowing you'd committed to a lie.

Lucky: You knew. You cared enough to tell me, and that means a lot.

James: Why would I want to kill a man this deal hinges on? I can't sell what you don't deliver.

Lorenzo: Well, call me cynical, but it occurs to me that you might want to cut me out -- now that the hard work's been done and the risks already been taken.

James: Well, the work, yes, but the risk is just beginning. Considering your shot in the head while a deal of this magnitude was on the table, you're allowed a bout of healthy paranoia. But I mean you no harm.

Lorenzo: Until the shipment arrives.

James: I think it would be prudent for both of us to know the time and date, just in case.

Lorenzo: Well, just in case you are the one that messed with my I.V., I'm going to keep that information on a need-to-know basis. Right now, that doesn't include you. So in the meantime, I would suggest you give me and my family a very wide berth.

James: I don't like threats -- even when they're veiled.

Epiphany: Anyone who is not a patient or staff needs to clear this room right now. That means you.

James: I'm sorry, sorry. Speedy recovery.

Edward: Back from E.L.Q. already?

Sam: I had the paperwork messengered so we could talk.

Edward: Oh, I like your style, dear, because you are so enterprising --

Sam: Mr. Quartermaine --

Edward: What?

Sam: Edward, Sir? I have really enjoyed working for you.

Edward: Hmm.

Sam: It has -- it has challenged me and reminded me that I am more than a capable person.

Edward: Mm-hmm.

Sam: And I've learned a lot that I will take forward with me into the future. But, unfortunately, that future is not going to be with E.L.Q.

Edward: What are you saying?

Sam: I'm saying that I really appreciate this chance. I just don't see it working out, so I am resigning -- effective immediately.

Edward: Like hell you are.

Judge: Would you like to start at the beginning? Or we could start in the middle --

Carly: We know the drill. You don't have to get all warm and fuzzy. We can just go.

Judge: Oh.

Morgan: Hey, Mommy, you forgot these.

Carly: Thank you, sweetie. Okay, maybe a little warm and fuzzy.

Sonny: Go ahead, go ahead.

Judge: Ahem.

Carly: Oh.

Judge: "The union of husband and wife, in heart, body, and soul, is intended for their mutual joy. That they may stand side by side in times of happiness, and remain even closer in times of adversity." Do you have rings?

Carly: No.

Sonny: Yeah. I got rings. Yeah, I got the ring right -- okay. Ahem. I -- I give you this -- this ring as a symbol of my love, and as a solemn vow to protect and keep you for as long as we both shall live. Go ahead. Why do you have the ring on? Take it off.

Carly: I'm -- there's another guy.

Judge: I take it you don't have a ring for the groom?

Carly: No. No. No, I donít.

Judge: Well, then, I now pronounce you husband and wife.

Michael: Yay. Yeah. Agh.

Judge: You may kiss your bride.

Michael: You're named after him, you know?

Emily: You've been so quiet since we took off.

Nikolas: Oh. What -- what if I'm wrong? Here we are, halfway to Greece chasing my grandmother. What if we should be heading in the other direction?

Emily: Okay. You remember when Spencer was first born? Huh? How you felt an immediate connection to him?

Nikolas: Mm-hmm. Right, right. Even when Jax was claiming that he was the father, I -- the feeling never really wavered.

Emily: So turn off your brain right now.

Nikolas: What?

Emily: What's your heart telling you?

Nikolas: That we're on the right track.

Emily: Then we probably are.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: Do you want to go straight to the Cassadine Island, or --

Nikolas: No, no, I -- I don't think that she's there. It would be too easy to find her. We'll spend the night in Athens, get some rest, and figure out what our next move is. We've already lost one day of travel. Da-- damn it.

Emily: What?

Nikolas: I just remembered. I forgot your birthday.

Maxie: Isn't this perfect? I can get the whole miserable ordeal over with at once.

Lulu: Am -- am I supposed to know what you're talking about?

Maxie: You will in one second. Lucky knows the truth -- I was never pregnant.

Edward: Since you seemed very well-pleased with your job until half an hour ago, I can only be drawn to one conclusion -- Tracy. What has she done?

Sam: Can I tell you something about that woman? That woman is evil. She is insecure, she's manipulative, she's bitter, and she's unhappy. I'm sorry -- no offense.

Edward: None taken. I happen to agree with you. So, what did Tracy do that -- that caused you to quit the job that you so obviously enjoyed?

Sam: I mean, really, this -- this doesn't have anything to do with Tracy. It's more about Jason. You know, he's made such an effort to distance himself from the family expectations, and here I am -- job-searching him right back into the thick of it, and it's really unfair. I don't want to do that to him, and I just -- Edward, I hope you understand.

Edward: Oh, I understand, my dear, more than you know.

[Door opens]

Jason: Ready to go?

Edward: Jason, how mean-spirited and selfish have you become that you would force Sam to quit her job?

[Music plays]

Sonny: Whew.

Carly: Why did you do this? It's not like it's a real wedding.

Sonny: Well, I just -- I remember a lot of things -- like you love white roses. I was going to get you a frozen-pizza wedding cake, but they -- you know, I had to kind of settle for --

Carly: Vanilla, yeah, with peanut butter and chocolate filling. Why are you doing this? You're starting already. You are. You were sincere at the courthouse when you said you wouldn't start anything, and now -- now you're getting me junk-food wedding cake!

Sonny: I -- I know how much it cost you to do this. You might as well take advantage of my gratitude while it lasts. Thank you.

Michael: Oh, this is good. Hey -- can I have champagne, too?

Carly: No, you canít.

Sonny: Well, you know what? Maybe if -- if we ask nicely, Bobbie can pour you some cider, and you guys can pretend and -- what do you think?

Mike: Yeah.

Bobbie: I think that's a great idea. Mmm.

Max: Congratulations.

Morgan: Mom?

Michael: This is good cake.

Carly: Don't say that, it's not real.

Sonny: Get over here.

Morgan: Hi.

Sonny: Shh. Hey.

Carly: There's something I need you to do for me.

Max: Huh. Yeah?

Maxie: I had to come clean. Elizabeth left me no choice because, God forbid, she'd mind her own business for once.

Lulu: It's Elizabeth's fault for finding you out?

Georgie: Maxie, why in the world would you fake a pregnancy?

Lulu: Oh, I can answer that -- your sister's a lying whore.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Lucky: Great.

Elizabeth: It's okay. We can go to Eliís.

Maxie: No, no, no. Don't bother. I know when I'm not wanted. I know you're mad at me right now. But I still care about what happens to you, so please be careful. Elizabeth's not here because she wants to start over. She sees you as an addict, and she's afraid you're going to use what happened to get high again.

Edward: Sam showed an amazing aptitude and promise at E.L.Q. She'd have had a wonderful future there, I'd have seen to it. But now she's walking away because of you.

Sam: Edward, please -- stop. Jason didn't know about any of this.

Jason: You quit your job?

Edward: Oh, don't play innocent with me, it doesn't become you. All I hope, young man, is that the sacrifices that Sam is making for you on a daily basis really count for something.

Jason: I don't -- I don't get it. I thought you liked working for Edward. What happened?

[Music plays]

Carly: I've been feeding myself for years, thanks.

Sonny: That's what I've always liked about you -- that you're so capable. You're so --

Carly: Uh-uh.

Michael: Are you guys going to dance?

Carly: No, we're not.

Michael: Why not? Just -- come on, please? One.

Sonny: We don't want to disappoint the boys. I mean --

Mike: Yeah. One.

Sonny: Like Michael said, just once. Right?

Michael: Please?

Sonny: Just one, right?

Michael: Please?

Carly: You put them up to this, you know.

Sonny: No, it -- the boys just love to see us, you know, having a great time, being parents, laughing.

Carly: Then we should've sent them to Disney World.

Sonny: It's not so bad, is it?

Carly: No, it's great, but, you know, I need to dance with my son.

Michael: What -- what -- huh?

Carly: Dance with me.

Michael: Fine.

Carly: Huh.

Max: I am sorry to interrupt. We have an emergency.

Skye: I brought you some juice.

Lorenzo: Oh, thank you. But you're also to be credited with sending Epiphany in to run interference?

Skye: Well, she was intimidating, not to mention available. But beyond that, I will not answer any more of your questions until you answer mine. Now, what is going on? Who is this Craig person?

Lorenzo: Mr. Craig is a middleman. I get the shipment from the sellers, give it to him, and he gives it to the buyers.

Skye: A shipment of what?

Lorenzo: Skye, you already know too much for your own good.

Skye: I beg to differ, Lorenzo -- I didn't know enough. Now, you almost died -- twice -- and I wasn't just terrified. I had to scramble to protect you, armed with not nearly enough information. Now, I am still willing to do that, okay, under one condition. You fill in the blanks right now, or we are done -- for good.

Nikolas: I mean, it's -- it's not like I can, you know, sneak out and buy you a dozen roses, jump out from behind the curtain and yell "surprise."

Emily: It's no big deal.

Nikolas: It is.

Emily: Nikolas, I completely spaced out on my birthday, too. I've been so worried about Spencer.

Nikolas: It is a big deal, and you've been the best thing in the world to me on this. You kept me focused, positive. You even kept me out of a German jail. I should be celebrating you in style.

Emily: Well, some women might think that flying to Greece on a private jet with a prince was pretty stylish.

Nikolas: It is, but you deserve more.

Emily: My only birthday wish is that you get some word on Spencer.

Nikolas: Yeah. But when we do, when we get him back, we're going shopping, okay?

Emily: Okay.

Nikolas: And the only caveat is that you have to buy something extraordinarily impractical.

Emily: Oh.

Nikolas: Deal?

Emily: I think I can manage that.

Nikolas: All right. But for now, the best I can do is Happy Birthday, Emily.

Emily: That works for me.

[Phone rings]

Nikolas: Yes? Yes, I'll -- I'll be in touch the moment we land. Helena was spotted boarding a plane at St. Petersburg -- with an infant.

Jason: If you really quit because of me, I don't -- I don't want you to quit. I -- I meant what I said about you can work for whoever you want, even if it's, you know, the Quartermaines.

Sam: I know, I know you said that. Jason, I quit because I needed to. Okay? I could already feel Edward sucking me in to the Quartermaine way of -- of thinking, of life. And, you know, to be honest, I -- I don't want the pressure of producing an heir, you know, not on -- not on either one of us. So, trust me, quitting E.L.Q. is the best thing for both of us.

Lorenzo: Thank you. Now, tell me why you didn't take our little girl and head to Geneva like I told you to.

Skye: If I had, you'd be dead. Is that what you want?

Lorenzo: What I want is a life with you, away from these business connections, to get out from underneath all this. If I move this shipment, that could possibly happen.

Skye: I see you deftly avoided answering my question, Lorenzo. What is in the shipment?

Lorenzo: I really don't know -- that's the God's honest truth. And the fact that they won't tell me makes this possibly the most dangerous shipment that I've ever tried to move. Hop on the next plane now?

Skye: It's too late for me to bail on you.

Lorenzo: I hope you won't be sorry about that.

Skye: That makes three of us. One more question -- where does Sonny fit in?

Max: Hey, boss, how did it go?

Sonny: How did it go? Not the way I expected. It turns out Bernie was on his way to the Missis --

Max: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: And he never summoned me for an emergency meeting. So I'm trying to put two and two together. How could you screw up a -- a message like that?

Max: Uh -- you know, I don't know. I --

Sonny: "I don't know"? You don't know? What?

Max: Well, maybe, you know, the -- the festivities tonight, I -- I just got the time wrong or something.

Sonny: Uh-huh. When did you become so damn domestic?

Max: Um -- I -- well, I was just trying to help out.

Sonny: The question is, help out who?

Max: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: Well, you know what? I got to give credit where credit's due, and that was a beautiful red herring -- you got me. You proud of yourself?

Max: I'm sorry.

Sonny: Carly's not here?

Max: Not exactly.

Sonny: And the boys?

Max: No.

Sonny: I'm good to you, right, Max?

Max: Oh, yeah.

Sonny: I pay you well --

Max: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: And most importantly, I trust you.

Max: Yes.

Sonny: And you scam me out of my own house, while my wife takes my kids out of here on my wedding night.

Max: Boss -- um -- uh -- Carly asked me to -- uh -- help her.

Sonny: You hurt me, Max, right in my heart. So maybe you should go somewhere and think about what you did.

Carly: You boys are going to love Aspen. It's beautiful this time of year.

Michael: Why are we running away from Dad?

Carly: We're not running away from Dad. I'm just setting some boundaries now so I'm not sorry about it later.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Man: We got the couch you ordered.

Patrick: I didn't order a couch.

Robin: I did.

Lucky: Can I take you to dinner?

Elizabeth: What would you do if you could save someone you love just by being with them?

Sam: What if you found some information? Could you erase it?
