Sam: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where do you think you're going?
Jason: Uh -- work.
Jason: I already thought you left.
Sam: No, no, I still have time -- and so do you.
Elizabeth: Ok, I know it sounds paranoid, but this is Maxie we're talking about. She kept Lucky's drug addiction a secret for weeks -- she even supplied the drugs. So why wouldn't she fake a pregnancy just to hold on to him?
Lucky: Are you ok?
Maxie: Maybe you should go.
Carly: You kept me waiting all day.
Sonny: Bernie -- well, Bernie and I were in the middle of something --
Carly: No, you're avoiding me because you know what you did was unacceptable. You took advantage of the --
Sonny: It was a -- it was a kiss. Maybe you should ask yourself why it matters to you so much.
Sam: Ok, I'm going to be late. I'm going to be really late! Where's my W-4 and I-9 papers? I put them down here last night. Ok -- thank you. Great. I was thinking, what if I want to come home and you're not here yet? I don't have a spare key, and I was just -- you are good. Where are my shoes?
Jason: Uh -- under your arm.
Sam: Ok. Now, we shouldn't have made love that last time --
Jason: Well, I don't know --
Sam: Because I'm going to be very late for work.
Jason: I don't know about that one.
Sam: No, you're right. You're right because we probably conceived our baby.
Jason: Should we try one more time just to --
Jason: Just to make sure?
Sam: Yeah, I would -- I canít. I can't; I'll be late. Oh! I'm going to be late!
Jason: All right, all right. Listen, I got to work late tonight, but I'll be back as soon as I can. Ok?
Jason: Good luck with your job.
Sam: Thank you. I'll see you tonight.
Jason: All right.
Elizabeth: Can I ask you a question?
Epiphany: Will it help clear your mind so that you can file these charts?
Elizabeth: Uh -- yes.
Epiphany: Ok, then make it fast.
Elizabeth: Ok, so, you know Lucky and I are over, but it was my choice. I moved myself out of the apartment and I filed for divorce. But we were together for an awfully long time, and you know I will always care about him.
Epiphany: Mm-hmm. Leave out the Babson chart.
Elizabeth: And because I care about him, it makes me worry that Maxie is using her miscarriage to manipulate him.
Epiphany: Maxie's coming on to Lucky this soon after losing her baby?
Elizabeth: Well, Dr. Kelly says there's no way she could've faked the pregnancy, that the blood test proves it, but I don't know. I do not trust her. And I'm starting to feel like this whole thing is a lie.
Epiphany: So prove it. You're more than a match for Maxie Jones.
Maxie: I've accepted the fact that we can't be together, but I can't help but feel this bond over the life we created. Maybe it's more than that. Maybe it's our friendship and the years we've known each other. I just don't feel like I can talk to anyone else but you.
Lucky: I'm glad you feel that way, because I -- I care about you.
Maxie: I don't want to impose on you. I know you have priorities.
Lucky: You are a priority.
Maxie: Lucky, you don't have to say that.
Lucky: I mean it. I mean, losing that baby was a terrible thing for both of us. Listen, I just want to help you heal -- it -- it helps me. Unless you're sick of me?
Maxie: No way.
Lucky: Ok, then I'll see you tomorrow and we'll take little Popsicle here for a walk.
Lucky: What, you got a better name?
Maxie: No, no. Popsicle sounds good.
Lucky: All right. Then I'll see you tomorrow.
Pete: Hey -- um -- one more favor.
Georgie: Oh, I really hope it's a quick one because I actually do have to get to class.
Pete: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Look, I'll make it fast. So, I've written 20 pages of my book, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd be the first to read them.
Georgie: Oh, my gosh, that would be great. You just want to e-mail them to me and I can read them over the weekend?
Pete: I was kind of hoping for your immediate reaction. And I know it's probably absurd, but I get a little paranoid about my material floating around in cyberspace before I'm ready for the public to see it. So, could you come over to my place tonight and read it there? I'll even make you dinner.
Georgie: Oh, you don't have to do that.
Pete: No, no. It'll actually give me a chance to try out my new pasta recipe.
Georgie: Well, when you put it that way, I -- I would love to come.
Georgie: But I do have to go.
Georgie: Ok -- um -- see you.
Pete: I'll see you then.
Lorenzo: Why are you suddenly so worried about me?
Skye: Aside from the fact that you're my child's father?
Lorenzo: Well, I was your child's father when you tried to disappear. You obviously wanted nothing to do with me then. And you also made it clear when you moved in that that was a sacrifice intended to protect Lulu Spencer.
Skye: Are you saying you don't want me to care about you?
Lorenzo: I'm simply questioning when you started or why you would.
Skye: I am in no position to judge you, Lorenzo, ok? I've made more than my share of questionable choices in life. But I want better for Lila, and I believe you do, too.
Lorenzo: I do. I'd like our daughter to have everything I could never give Diego.
Skye: You know, there are other people you can help in Diegoís name. You could start an inner-city program for teens, or an at-risk program for kids. You could name it in Diegoís honor and -- and help the same kids who grew up with the -- those disadvantages that Diego did.
Lorenzo: That's a wonderful idea.
Skye: Ok. If you're serious about starting this fund, I'm going to get in touch with the woman who runs the Courtney Matthews Foundation. She's a friend from the guild and she could probably give us plenty of advice on how to help with the whole urban youth thing --
Lorenzo: Uh -- Skye, don't -- don't use that phone.
Skye: Why not?
Bernie: Ok, I'll just get a cup of java.
Carly: I'm engaged to marry Jax.
Sonny: Jax isn't here.
Carly: Doesn't mean you can kiss me whenever you want.
Sonny: A lot of people kiss on New Yearís Eve, Carly.
Carly: Not like that, Sonny, and you know it.
Sonny: Not like what?
Carly: Don't do this. No, donít. Don't play innocent. That was a serious kiss and you know it.
Sonny: Like the serious kiss you gave me when we found out that Jason was --
Carly: No, you kissed me, ok? You kissed me.
Sonny: Ok, it doesn't matter. We felt something then; we -- we felt something last night.
Carly: You took advantage of an emotional situation and you're doing it now!
Sonny: Stop fighting -- you need to stop fighting it. We are always going to feel that pull, no matter what. That's why you're in knots. Because you know that you're engagement to Jax is not going to change what we have. Neither will your marriage.
Lulu: How did you get anything? Dillon's genius plan lasted, like, two minutes.
Dillon: Uh -- excuse me, my "genius plan" would've gone on all night long. I had Epiphany believing in my whole documentary thing. And -- he made a mistake.
Spinelli: Uh, ba-ba-ba. Jackal doesn't make mistakes. Watch and learn. I opened up a trapdoor in the hospital's network database which allows us to access it, ok? So, see -- check it out. Says right here Alan Quartermaine was supposed to work the night-to-morning shift the night Rick Webber was murdered.
Dillon: Yeah, but look -- he signed out at 9:00 P.M.
Lulu: Oh, my God. If he left the hospital at 9:00, then that means he had enough time to go to the Scorpio attic to kill Rick Webber.
Dillon: All right, but the thing is, how would he know to just leave the hospital and go to somebody else's attic?
Spinelli: Well, maybe they arranged a meeting.
Dillon: We need evidence. If he was there, we need evidence.
Monica: Uh -- excuse me. Does Tracy know that you're still hanging out with him?
Lulu: Well -- um -- Spinelli is helping me with a project.
Monica: I think Tracy made it abundantly clear that he was a very bad influence, and for once in my life, I've got to say I agree with my sister-in-law.
Spinelli: Oh, just chill, Dr. Q. See, I'm -- I'm Jasonís roomie now, so it's -- it's all good.
Monica: Well, my son may trust you, but I -- I sure don't, and I think you've caused enough trouble already. So, Dillon, I'm really asking you to take responsibility, and get you and Lulu out of this situation. Now.
Carly: Jason, I need your help. Sonny is making me crazy.
Jason: Happy New Year to you, too.
Carly: I'm serious, you have to do something! He's now using the boys to try and get close to me. He showed up at my door last night saying he wanted to spend New Yearís Eve with the boys. Next thing I know, it's midnight and he's kissing me.
Jason: What do you want me to do?
Carly: Tell him to stop!
Jason: Why don't you tell him?
Carly: Because he won't listen to me! You know he won't listen to me. He honestly believes that I can never truly love someone else, and I do. I love Jax, Jason, and I want to spend the rest of my life with Jax, and it's not fair for Sonny to use the kids and our bond that we have together to get me back -- not to mention it's confusing for Michael and Morgan, and it's not a whole heck of a lot of fun for me, either.
Jason: Do you think Michael and Morgan are being hurt by this?
Carly: They're finally starting to accept Jax as their future stepfather, and I don't need Sonny yanking their chain.
Jason: Well, then you guys got to work it out. You know, you're the adults.
Carly: Wait a minute, what do you mean, "work it out"? What's wrong with you?
Jason: Nothing. I'm -- I'm just saying kids are a big responsibility. It's a major decision to even have them.
Carly: Well, yeah, that's kind of a moot point where Michael and Morgan are concerned.
Jason: Ok, you know what, Carly? I'll talk to Sonny for you.
Carly: What's going on? Don't try and change the subject --
Jason: Nothing's going on. You came over here to get me to talk to Sonny; I just told you I'll talk to Sonny for you.
Carly: Yeah, but you wouldn't agree to talk to Sonny unless you were trying to distract me, and you wouldn't be trying to distract me from something unless I thought of something that made you feel uncomfortable. What would children -- and talking about children -- make you feel uncomfortable?
Elizabeth: I can't stand Maxie for obvious reasons.
Epiphany: Then call her out.
Elizabeth: But if I accuse her of faking a pregnancy and a miscarriage and I'm wrong? I just don't want to cause her and Lucky any more pain.
Epiphany: Then you're going to need proof before you say anything, don't you?
Elizabeth: Maybe I'm just being spiteful because I don't want Maxie with Lucky -- even though I can't be with Lucky myself.
Epiphany: Elizabeth, ask yourself this -- would you be pursuing this theory that Maxie faked her pregnancy if you were carrying Jason Morganís baby?
Lorenzo: The cell phone is for contact only with certain sources.
Skye: You don't have to be so guarded, Lorenzo. You've already told me all about your business associates, and I said I'm ok with that.
Lorenzo: I'm still responsible for your safety. Now, any call that comes through on that phone is for me alone. I don't want you speaking with these people.
Skye: All right.
Lorenzo: A very delicate shipment is due to arrive in Port Charles. I'd like you and Lila to leave town for a while. If any complications arrive, I want you out of country safely.
Skye: Are you saying we're at risk?
Lorenzo: I'm not trying to worry you -- I'm sure everything's going to be fine -- but I don't want to take any chances. After what happened with Diego, I -- I couldn't bear to lose you or Lila.
Sonny: I shouldn't have turned a blind eye to Alcazar's shipments. Now he knows my trucking route, right, and he wants more.
Bernie: Right, but you didn't want to start a war while Alexis was recuperating.
Sonny: No, I didn't want to start a war, but you know what? Now he thinks he can take whatever he can, whenever he wants.
Bernie: Oh --
Sonny: We need to just --
Bernie: I'm listening.
Sonny: We need to back him off. You understand what I'm saying?
Bernie: I understand what you're saying. I'm saying that our men are in place, ready to help Jason raid Alcazar's shipment any time.
Sonny: Good. Good.
Bernie: All we need is your word, that's all.
Bernie: We need --
Alexis: Can I speak with you just for a moment?
Bernie: Uh -- speak of the -- the mother of your child.
Alexis: Hi, Benny.
Bernie: Bernie. Uh -- it's ok. I'll get another cup of java.
Alexis: Uh --
Alexis: Oh -- here we go. Kristina is going to visit the firehouse with her class and she needs your signature on the parental slip.
Sonny: Ok, Alexis, you barged past Max and Milo for the -- the trip's not till the 29th.
Alexis: I know that, and -- but that is due in a week.
Sonny: It takes one parent's signature.
Alexis: Oh. Yeah. Oh -- um --
Alexis: I didn't see that.
Sonny: Alexis? Why are you really here?
Alexis: I thought that since you're already a criminal, and I really don't want to get anyone else involved --
Alexis: I was thinking that maybe you could -- forget it.
Sonny: No, no, no, no, I know, I know, I know. You need more weed, don't you?
Alexis: No. I am not here for weed. Technically, I'm still the D.A., for God's sake.
Sonny: Would you prosecute somebody for using marijuana to deal with chemotherapy?
Alexis: Never, but that's beside the point.
Sonny: So you think it's best that they suffer?
Alexis: I think chemo is what it is, and I knew that going into it.
Sonny: What about Kristina? I mean, she seemed like she's speaking a little more at Christmas, and maybe she's seen you smile and she wants her mommy back.
Alexis: I think that she gets upset when she sees me that sick.
Sonny: Mm-hmm. Then you know what you got to do.
Alexis: Do I?
Alexis: I don't know that I do, really --
Alexis: Because -- you know, marijuana is addictive. So, what if I become dependent?
Sonny: Relax. I'm not saying that you're going to succumb to reefer madness or any of that.
Alexis: Ok, well, just the sound of that is -- is disturbing to me. You can't tell anyone -- do you hear me? -- No one that I smoked pot. And don't tell Ric.
Sonny: I'm not going to tell Ric. I'm not going to tell anybody.
Alexis: You know what? Now that I've thought about it, I'm not going to do it anymore.
Dillon: Anyone notice how weird Monicaís been acting?
Lulu: And since when has she even cared about my welfare?
Dillon: Well, do you think she might know that we're investigating her husband, Alan? I mean --
Lulu: Well, how would she?
Spinelli: Why blame me? This is the blond one's investigation. I'm just here to provide assistance and tech support.
Lulu: Obviously, Monica thinks that if you're not helping me, I'll give up with searching for evidence.
Spinelli: You know parent types have always kind of been opposed to my existence for as long as I can remember? You know, I always thought it was the, like, the antihero image that I have but, you know, I think it's the Jackal thing. I mean, they're just -- they're incredibly intimidated by my ridiculous skills.
Lulu: Well, um, that actually tells us something -- that Monica has something to hide.
Dillon: Yeah --
Lulu: Oh -- Max, Milo. What are you guys doing here?
Milo: Fine, thanks.
Max: Oh -- Spinelli, you're needed.
Spinelli: Looks like the Pacino-esque one has a problem that only the Jackal can solve.
Lulu: Yeah, ok. See you later, Spinelli. Bye, Milo.
Max: Milo? Go get your coat. Let's go.
Lulu: Ok, bye.
Dillon: Wow. Oh, man, Sonny's bodyguard really has a crush on you. It's kind of cute.
Lulu: Yeah. He's kind of cute, too.
Lulu: What? Yeah, I think he's cute. I don't know -- he's sweet and, obviously, no one would mess with him. I don't know -- maybe I should go out with him.
Dillon: Oh -- oh, you should -- yeah. Like -- what, like a date, like, go out with him? Like --
Lulu: Yeah, like a date. What -- why are you being so weird? What is wrong with you?
Dillon: Noth-- no, no, I'm fine. I just -- you know what? I was just -- I was thinking -- I think I just figured out the next step in our investigation.
Jason: I actually have some work to do. So if you don't mind --
Carly: Oh, come on, we're best friends. You were the first person I told when I got pregnant. You and Sam are going to have a baby?
Jason: I don't want to talk about this, ok?
Carly: If I were wrong, you'd tell me so, which means I'm right. Unless -- please do not tell me that Elizabeth has decided that Lucky isn't daddy material and all of a sudden you're the father?
Jason: Ok, you know what? Just stop it. Things have been tough on Elizabeth. She was in a car accident, Carly, on New Yearís Eve. If I hadn't have found her, who knows what would've happened to her?
Carly: Ok, fine. I don't want anything bad to happen to Elizabeth, and I'm glad that you saved her life, just like I'm incredibly grateful that she helped you. But I also think you need to stay --
Jason: But what? She did save my life.
Carly: Fine, and you saved hers. So why don't you call it even and stay away from Elizabeth?
Lucky: Hey, Elizabeth.
Lucky: Um -- Audrey likes animals, right?
Elizabeth: Why you asking?
Lucky: Well, there's this stray that I found and -- well, you see, he's really cute and gentle, and I just don't have the heart to give him to the pound. I was thinking, you know, of giving him to Cameron -- that is, if it's ok with you -- and --
Elizabeth: Oh. Well, I mean, you know Gram and I love dogs, but we work too much, we're never home. It wouldn't be fair to the dog.
Lucky: Yeah, you're probably right.
Elizabeth: Where'd you find him?
Lucky: Outside of Kellyís on New Yearís Eve. Yeah, he was sitting in the snow, and it just -- when we walked out the door, he was just kind of sitting --
Elizabeth: Wait, "we"?
Lucky: Maxie and I.
Iris: Ms. McCall?
Iris: Your timecard says you were three minutes late. As head of administration, I must say that's a very inauspicious start for an employee.
Sam: Well, with all your responsibilities, I'm surprised you even have time to check up on me.
Iris: What is your reason for arriving late?
Iris: We all deal with traffic, that's no excuse.
Sam: I was three minutes late.
Iris: You know, you start a new job, and you are slacking off at the first? Given your less-than-stellar resume, do you have any idea how lucky you are to have a job at all?
Sam: Yes, I do, and I fully intend to do the best job --
Iris: What is the real reason? Were you delayed from a shooting, questioned by the police, or simply sleeping off a hangover?
Sam: No, my boyfriend and I were having sex, ok?
Jason: This whole conversation is about you being mad at Sonny. You don't want to think about it, so you're distracting yourself by messing with my life.
Carly: No, Elizabeth shouldn't be in your life.
Jason: Why? What has she ever done to you?
Carly: I don't like her. I don't like her because you trust her too much, and you always think she's right.
Jason: No -- no, I don't, Carly.
Carly: And you know what? You can trust me. Because even though I do occasionally lie, I do it for your own good because I always have your best interests at heart, Jason.
Jason: Carly, just stop it, ok?
Carly: I'm not going to stop. Elizabeth needs to stop, Jason.
Jason: Well, she didn't pass out in the snow on purpose, Carly.
Carly: Ok, maybe not. But don't you see a pattern emerging here? Elizabeth needs help, and Jason saves her. Let Lucky be her hero, not you.
Sam: Ok. Ok, now you know -- my boyfriend and I are trying to conceive a baby. Are you happy now? That's why I was three whole minutes late.
Iris: It is inappropriate for you to discuss your personal life at work.
Sam: Yes, of course it is, but you weren't going to let me alone until I told you everything. So what do you -- what, do you want to know more? Do you want to know details? Do you want to know where? How many times?
Iris: No. Just be on time from now on.
Sam: Ok. Ok -- way more information than anyone needed. I'm sorry. Oh.
Orderly: I was interested.
Epiphany: Get your lazy butt back to work before I assign you to emptying bedpans for the next month. Nothing like starting off your new job with a bang.
Elizabeth: I can't believe Ms. Sneed -- I mean, making Sam announce that she's trying to get pregnant.
Lucky: Well, Sam didn't seem so embarrassed by it.
Elizabeth: Well, it's pretty personal.
Lucky: It's kind of funny if you think about it. I mean, if Sam and Jason do have a baby, it could grow up to be a friend with ours.
Georgie: Hey, Dillon, Lulu. What are you guys doing here?
Dillon: I called Mac and I asked him if we could use the attic.
Dillon: I tried calling you, too, but your cell phone wasn't working.
Georgie: Oh, don't worry about it. Sorry, I've been busy.
Lulu: Oh, well -- I mean, we would've had Spinelli come, too, but he was actually busy, too, and he couldn't --
Georgie: You know, don't worry about it. The attic's all yours. It's -- it's fine.
Dillon: Well, you can -- you can stay, actually.
Georgie: You know, that -- that's really nice of you and everything, but I was looking for something, I found it, I got it. You guys, great luck on the mystery. Good -- happy hunting.
Dillon: Well, you can help us -- you -- ok.
Georgie: Bye, guys! Good luck!
Lulu: That was weird. You ok?
Dillon: Yeah -- I mean, no. I know when she's covering, and right now she's not even covering.
Lulu: Hmm. I don't know -- maybe something else is going on.
Dillon: Uh -- whatever. Let's just run the reenactment again.
Spinelli: Uh -- look, whatever you need, Godfather, I mean, you -- you can count on me. I'm -- my cyber services are -- are at your command.
Sonny: Sit down. Sit down. Jason says you're reliable -- at least, when it comes to computers.
Spinelli: Yeah. Well, Stone Cold knows I'm a cyber god.
Sonny: Ok, I trust Jason. He's got excellent judgment -- most of the time. But all I've heard about you is that you're trouble.
Spinelli: No -- did -- did I not prove the Goddess was innocent?
Sonny: Did I not tell you to sit down?
Spinelli: Did I not prove the Goddess was innocent? And -- and I -- I totally updated all of Stone Cold's computers until the Berneficent one just --
Sonny: Ok, I don't know anything about Stone Cold or Goddess or whatever that last thing you said. I -- and I don't have time to figure out what you're babbling about.
Spinelli: Understood, Pacino-esque one. From now on --
Sonny: And if you call me Pacino-esque again --
Spinelli: I wonít.
Sonny: I -- I'm going to take care of you, buddy.
Spinelli: I won't, Godfather -- oh -- uh -- Sonny. Mr. Corinthos? Sir?
Sonny: Ok, Alcazar -- I don't know -- he's stupid enough to use you, and I tell you what -- since he was, I'm going to use his stupidity to my advantage. Here's what I need from you.
Ric: Well, well. What have we here?
Sonny: Go. Go. Go.
Ric: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I take it my brother is employing you to do something of questionable legality?
Spinelli: I don't know what you're talking about. I was just shooting the breeze here with the Pacino-esque -- uh -- with -- ahem -- Mr. Corinthos, Sir.
Ric: Yeah, sure you were.
Sonny: Spinelli's going to update the warehouse computers.
Spinelli: Yeah, complete overhaul. It's going to be like a supercharged system. Mr. Corinthos, Sir, will be able to count every coffee bean he owns.
Ric: Oh. Well, you set up Alcazar's computer system, too, right? Now, if I were a betting man, I'd say that Sonny maybe ordered you to back up all of his data files in case he and Jason decide to start an all-out war. Am I getting warm here?
Sonny: Why are you here? You -- are you going to harass me, or are you sending a message from your new pal, Lorenzo Alcazar?
Ric: No, a custody hearing date has been set for Molly. You're still being called as a witness for me, so you might want to get a lawyer together. You're being deposed.
Sonny: I'll be there.
Ric: I would advise you to be very careful about what you say.
Sonny: Well, simple -- I'm just going to tell the truth.
Ric: Oh, that would be novel.
Sonny: You want to call me as a witness so I can talk about your behavior and all the incredible things that you've done? Hey, I'll do it, and let the chips fall where they may.
Ric: Ok, Sonny, you lead a dangerous life, your house is not safe for children. That, combined with Alexis' inability to take care of her children because of her debilitating illness -- those are the facts that are going to speak for themselves.
Sonny: And you are big on facts, aren't you?
Ric: Hey, listen, you want to slant your testimony to help Alexis out? I think you might be able to help her case by, first off, not committing any crimes between now and the hearing date -- that would include first-degree murder.
Spinelli: Ooh. Not only is that dude harsh and unkind, he gives me the crawlies.
Sonny: You're smarter than you look.
Georgie: Hey, professor.
Pete: Hey. Please, come on in. What's in the box?
Georgie: They're old pictures. I can't believe I almost forgot about them. My cousin used to live in Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s -- she actually worked as a script typist for a while. Anyhow, she would take pictures of Los Angeles and the studios and, you know, I thought you might be interested.
Pete: Huh. This is amazing; this is great. You've really gone above and beyond the call of duty this time.
Georgie: Thank you. Uh -- so, where are those pages or, you know, do I need to sign a confidentiality waiver first?
Pete: Oh, I have nothing to hide. And now, for your reading pleasure -- or, at least I hope it will be -- ta-da.
Georgie: Thank you.
Pete: So, how about a glass of wine? Maybe it'll make you more receptive to my work.
Georgie: Oh, I -- um --
Pete: Unless you don't drink wine, of course?
Georgie: You know, I would love a glass.
Pete: Have a seat and I'll bring it over.
Mac: Hey, what are you doing out here?
Maxie: Just thinking, staring at the ice. What's your excuse?
Mac: I'm following up a surveillance detail.
Maxie: Aren't you a little too important for that?
Mac: Well, it gave me a chance to get out of the office. Uh -- look, I know that I've been busy lately.
Maxie: Well, you're the police commissioner, and Port Charles has a lot of crime.
Mac: It doesn't give me the right to neglect my daughter.
Maxie: You're not.
Mac: Sweetheart, you've been through a terrible time -- starting with the way Lucky mistreated you this summer and then finding out you're pregnant, and then losing the baby. Look, I know that you're devastated, and I just haven't given you the support that you deserve. I'm sorry that --
Maxie: Please don't apologize. You are wonderful. And you deserve a daughter who is much better than I am.
Dillon: Ok, so, if -- if I'm Alan, right, and -- and you're Rick, and this is your mom -- um -- what do we -- what do we get from this scenario?
Lulu: Um -- well, Alan must've been wearing gloves, because they obviously didn't find any fingerprints.
Dillon: Well, yeah, that's good but, I mean, what else?
Dillon: Like --
Lulu: Ok. Um -- well, Alan was -- was taller than my mom, and he's taller than you, and if he was the killer and he actually raised his hand to strike, he might've hit the fan.
Dillon: Oh. Yeah, you know what? Let's -- let's call Spinelli and have him check the police reports and see if they found anything on the ceiling fan when they did forensics.
Lulu: Ok. Awesome. So, now --
Dillon: Cool. All right, I want to try something else, though. But -- here, take this. Let's -- instead, you be Laura, and -- and let's make -- let's make this Rick, actually.
Lulu: Oh -- Dillon? Oh, my God. You ok?
Dillon: Uh --
Lulu: I mean --
Lulu: Um -- yeah, I don't think this is what happened -- this.
Dillon: Yeah. Hey -- what is that?
Carly: We need to talk.
Elizabeth: I'm busy.
Carly: Really? Ok, keep working. We can discuss you and Jason right in the middle of the hub in front of everybody. It's fine with me.
Elizabeth: God, Carly, what's your problem? You say you're Jasonís best friend. How do you think he would feel -- you chasing me down in the middle of work to discuss his private life?
Carly: He'd be furious, but you know what? I don't care because I have to protect him.
Elizabeth: What, from me?
Carly: He may not know what you're doing, but I sure as hell do. You need help; you go to Jason. You need advice; you talk it through with Jason. You're so upset; Jasonís your go-to guy.
Elizabeth: And? He helps me; I help him.
Carly: Give me a break, Elizabeth. You're the one-night stand who won't leave. And I get that you're pregnant, and I get that Jason was all upset and concerned about you because he thought he was the baby's father, but that's over now.
Elizabeth: It is so much more than that.
Pete: Here you go --
Georgie: Hmm --
Georgie: And your pacing -- your pacing was perfect.
Pete: So the opening held your attention?
Georgie: Absolutely. I loved how you used the first person instead of the third. It made things so much more intimate, and I really felt like I was in the 1940s.
Pete: Well, thanks to your research.
Georgie: No, no, seriously, I mean it. You really nailed the female perspective. You know, people are going to read this and think that it was written by a woman, but then they're going to find out the author was really a man.
Pete: Thank you -- I think.
Georgie: No, seriously, honestly, I love how you made Peggy divorce the studio head right in the beginning. It made her so much more sympathetic.
Pete: So you really like it?
Georgie: Are you kid-- I love it. I love it. I cannot wait to read the next pages.
Pete: Well, you are going to be the first person that I show them to. You know, I've been trying for so long to write this book, and I just couldn't get motivated to start it. And now it's all happening, thanks to you. Here's to the best assistant a writer could have.
Georgie: And here is to the best writer an assistant could work for.
Maxie: Georgie got her grades back. She got a 4.0 again.
Mac: Yeah, well, I'm proud of Georgie. But I'm also proud of you.
Maxie: Yeah? For what?
Mac: Dealing with adversity and moving on. Maxie, I know that you loved Lucky, however misguided. He took advantage of that.
Maxie: No. He was hurting, too. He's not a bad person, dad. He's actually wonderful. It just turns out Lucky and I have the same problem -- we can't live up to our family reputation. He doesn't feel like he can measure up, and I know how that feels. Not only because I'm the daughter of the legendary Felicia and Frisco. Not only because I'm alive because of B.J.'s heart. But I managed to get wedged right in between Robin and Georgie, who are both perfect and smart and loving and loyal and true -- all of those things that I'm just not.
Mac: You know, let me tell you something. Georgie and Robin are not perfect. And you are every bit as smart and every bit as loving as they are.
Maxie: Thanks for believing that -- even if it's not true.
Mac: I believe in you, Maxie. And I always will.
Dillon: Can you -- can you get it? Can you reach it?
Dillon: What is it? What is it?
Lulu: It's a -- it's a datebook from 2002.
Dillon: What -- uh -- let me see. Oh, my -- this is -- this is Rick Webberís planner. It must've, like, fallen out of his -- out of his pocket the night of the murder.
Lulu: Oh, my God.
Lulu: Look at this. Look at this -- there are names and numbers and appointments.
Dillon: Oh, my God.
Lulu: Oh, my God! This might be the hard evidence that you were talking about.
Dillon: Well, and -- and this would -- this would definitely tell us what Rick was up to the night he was killed.
Lulu: And it might tell us who framed my mom for murder.
Monica: Hi. Thank you. I -- I called you because I am really worried about Lulu.
Lucky: Why? What happened?
Monica: Well, ever since Lauraís relapse, she's been hanging out with a clearly troubled young man. His name is -- I don't know -- something Spinelli.
Lucky: Oh. Well, he's the witness that helped free Sam and Jason.
Monica: Yes, which means that he, too, is involved with very dangerous people.
Lucky: How do you know all this?
Monica: Well, Lulu had asked me if he could stay at my house and I -- I said no. But she is dealing with so much right now, and I -- I think that she finds him exciting and adventurous, and I just don't want to see him drag her into serious trouble.
Lucky: Well, I don't, either, but we shouldn't just assume the worst.
Monica: You just want to wait until it happens?
Lucky: No, but I don't --
Monica: I think if -- I know if Luke were here, he would be handling it, but he's not. So I think in his absence, that the best thing for Lulu would be to go away to school.
Lucky: Well, that's a pretty radical move.
Monica: No, no, it isn't, not at all. It wouldn't be hard for her to transfer from PCU, and I -- I wouldn't even mind paying the costs.
Lucky: I don't know if Lulu would agree to that.
Monica: Well, that's why I called you, Lucky. Because I think with you and Nikolas, the two of you could persuade Lulu that leaving Port Charles right now would be the best thing that she could do.
Jason: We got Alcazar's incoming shipment, and we put it in the parking lot across from the police station.
Sonny: Good. What about his warehouses?
Jason: We hit all three, took everything inside. Alcazar is shut down cold.
Sonny: For now, right?
Jason: For now. He is going to fight back.
Sonny: Well, if he does, we'll run him out of the territory, because I'm going to take back what's mine. And if it's over that bastard's dead body -- oh, well.
Lorenzo: What do you mean, "They got it all"? Damn it, where? No, you just find my cargo and get it back.
Skye: What happened?
Lorenzo: Mr. Corinthos and Mr. Morgan hijacked my shipment.
Skye: Was it an important one?
Lorenzo: It's not that, it's the perception.
Lorenzo: My associates need to know that I can guarantee the safety of their shipments. It's something like this that undermines their confidence. So I need to recover what's mine, and I need to send Mr. Corinthos a message.
Man: Everything had better be in order. This next transaction is highly sensitive, and if it doesn't go smoothly, there will be serious consequences.
Elizabeth: Jason and I are very close friends.
Carly: And you play it for all its worth.
Elizabeth: He cares about me, Carly, whether you accept that or not, and he has for a long time. Did you know that when he thought this baby might be his, he asked me to marry him?
Carly: Well, that's Jasonís way -- he always does the right thing.
Elizabeth: He said he wanted to start a family with me -- whether this child was his or not.
Carly: So are you saying you have Jason on a line, and you're ready to reel him in whenever you want?
Elizabeth: I'm saying Jason genuinely wants to help me, and I am grateful that I can count on him.
Carly: You act all sugary and sweet, but you really are the most calculating woman I know. You don't give a damn that Jasonís in love with Sam.
Carly: You don't care about Jason at all. And you certainly don't care what's best for Lucky.
Elizabeth: Oh, that's a lie.
Carly: Is it? You're just waiting for your chance. Because sooner or later, you're going to decide that you want Jason, and you're going to swoop on in and take him.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Alexis: What are you doing here?
Spinelli: Oh, I was just teaching Krissy the finer points of hacking.
Carly: The sooner you get pregnant, the better for everyone, especially Jason.
Sonny: Alcazar's going to be making his move soon, and when he does, we'll be ready.
