Carly: This is beyond childish, you locking me in here. And you're a traitor, Max! You must be getting desperate.
Sonny: I don't want you to be uncomfortable.
Carly: You don't want me to marry Jax.
Sonny: Ok, here's the deal. If you still want to marry Jax after this dinner, I won't try to stop you.
Robin: Are you ok? Patrick?
Patrick: I'm great. Wonderful.
Spinelli: So, blond one, who do you know who got murdered?
Lulu: Rick Webber.
Spinelli: Who's that?
Lulu: It's my mom's stepfather.
Spinelli: Well, doesn't that technically make him your grandfather?
Lulu: Technically, it makes him dead. And my mom was the one who supposedly killed him, but she didnít. So that's why I need you to hack into the computer system and find out all the evidence they have against her so that I can prove she's innocent.
Lucky: You know, when I see my child growing inside Elizabeth, and I remember I could have killed them both that night at the pier, I -- my son or daughter owes its life to you.
Det. Rodriguez: Spencer, over here. The flash drive is missing. Lansing claims it vanished from his office.
Lucky: Isn't that convenient.
Lorenzo: Looking for this?
Ric: Look, why don't we destroy that flash drive while we can, so it doesn't incriminate the both of us?
Lorenzo: Oh, both of us? All the police have is Spinelliís word that I masterminded the entire plan. Consider the source, dude.
Ric: Look, Spinelli just re-created all that's on that flash drive in front of the cops.
Lorenzo: Skill with computers doesn't make him a reliable witness.
Ric: He wasn't supposed to show up at the department anyway. Neither was Jason. Do you remember that?
Lorenzo: Exactly. That's why you should be grateful that I have this. Because at least you know where it is. After all, you're the one who framed Sam for stealing it. And you know that everything on here is a complete fabrication, which makes you guilty of any number of things. What, evidence tampering, false arrest. You could lose your career. Hell, you could go to jail. Don't worry, Ric. I'll be a lot more careful with it than you ever were.
Ric: So you think you can have me dancing on a string, doing whatever you wan?
Lorenzo: That's up to you. I'll be in touch.
Ric: No doubt.
Lulu: Ok, four years ago, my mom supposedly killed her stepfather.
Spinelli: Wait. Wait, wait. Ok, it's coming back. Wait -- oh, yeah. Your dad's existential, and your mom's a vegetable.
Lulu: She has psychomotor disassociation.
Lulu: When she realized what she had done, or what she thought she had done, she flipped out, ok? And then my dad gave her this drug, LS-49, which brought her back for a while.
Spinelli: Oh, temporary patch. That's the worst kind.
Lulu: And as my mom was fading away, she said that she was innocent, and I believe her, so I need to prove it.
Spinelli: Well, where is she -- your mom? Physically speaking?
Lulu: She's in Shadybrook, and she's going to be staring at a wall for the rest of her life, and I can't change that. But what I can do is prove that she didn't kill her stepfather, and you're going to help.
Lucky: That flash drive with all the evidence against you disappeared.
Det. Rodriguez: Actually, the commissioner wants to see you. I'll keep an eye on Morgan.
Det. Rodriguez: We're not having this conversation. If something happened between you and Lucky's wife, that's none of my business. But he's a brother officer just out of rehab. And if Lucky finds out the truth about you and Elizabeth, it could send him back to the pills. So do the woman a favor. Do us all a favor. When you get out of here, leave Elizabeth alone.
Man: This unit has two bedrooms and one bath.
Colleen: I see. It's -- it's very nice.
Man: Will you be living here alone?
Emily: Do you have any plans for later?
Nikolas: Uh -- no, just some business calls. But I'm open to a better offer.
Emily: Ok, great, because I just stopped by Wyndham's and Santaís going to be there all evening. So let's take Spencer for his first official visit with Santa Claus.
Nikolas: Uh -- no.
Robin: You should have let me stay here last night.
Patrick: You needed to sleep it off.
Robin: Well, my hangover was not as bad as this room. Maybe Noah was right. Maybe you do need a nurse.
Patrick: Hey, I'm not useless.
Robin: Except for the fact that you can't clean up after yourself, or dress yourself.
Patrick: Well, it's this stupid cast. It's an overkill for a metacarpal fracture.
Robin: Ok, Noah just wants to make sure that you don't hurt yourself again while the bone is still mending. Otherwise, you'll be out of the O.R. for a long time.
Patrick: Oh --
Robin: Maybe even forever.
Patrick: Always looking on the bright side, aren't you?
Robin: Why can't you just accept the fact that you might need a little help?
Patrick: You can help me get dressed.
Sonny: Well --
Carly: I hate lobster.
Sonny: No, you love it with -- with lemon and butter.
Carly: Once, maybe, I did.
Sonny: Well, eat it before it gets cold.
Carly: I'm not drinking, Sonny.
Sonny: This is your favorite wine, and it goes great with lobster. I got you some -- I made you some salad with walnuts --
Carly: We're not at the cabana.
Sonny: And the marinara and --
Carly: This dinner is not going to end up the way that did.
Sonny: There's no harm in a nice meal, is there? Go ahead, eat. You like it?
Carly: It's ok.
Sonny: Why don't you try the salad? Because the walnuts are really good.
Carly: You wanted to talk to me about the children, so --
Sonny: That's right, yeah. They -- they want us together.
Carly: We're not good for them together, and you know that. And they adore Jax.
Sonny: They don't love him.
Carly: No, they don't love him, but they love you. But after Jax and I are married, they're going to have the best of both worlds. They're going to have you as their father, and a very peaceful, day-to-day life with me and Jax.
Sonny: What about you? What kind of life are you going to have?
Carly: I love Jax. He respects me. He treats me like gold. And when we fight, we don't destroy each other.
Sonny: I never tried to destroy you.
Carly: We're not good for each other, Sonny. Do you really want to go back there?
Sonny: Don't you?
Carly: We bring out the worst in each other. That's not good for our kids, especially Michael so --
Sonny: We're healthier now. I mean, you -- you live a life apart from me, and I got the bipolar under control. Things, you know, could be different.
Carly: It's too late. I'm going to marry Jax.
Sonny: Well, there's no doubt he wants to marry you and there's no doubt he'll give you what you say you want.
Carly: We're going to have a really nice life.
Sonny: The bottom line is, deep down inside, you still want me. And I want you.
Nikolas: Spencer's far too young to understand Santa right now. And quite honestly, I'm just not stable with turning over my only son to a stranger in a red suit and a fake beard. It could be anyone. God knows how many children he will have held by the time he gets to Spencer. I don't want him to get a cold, that's all.
Emily: Ok. It's a wild guess, but you and Stefan didn't spend that much time going to see Santa, did you?
Nikolas: In Greece, St. Nicholas was a bishop who left gifts for poor children on the doorstep.
Emily: Ok, so our St. Nicholas is a jolly old elf who carries presents in a sleigh drawn by flying reindeer. Is that really so terrible?
Nikolas: It's just I -- I'd rather teach my son about his own past and instill him with the true meaning of the holiday, rather than drag him to a department store and ask for gifts when he can't even talk.
Emily: Do you want him to be as lonely as you were? As isolated? I understand that heritage and traditions are important to you. But some of my best memories are of going to see Santa with my birth mother, Paige. I mean every year then, I'd get all dressed up and we'd head to the mall to wait in line. I mean, we'd share popcorn and we'd just watch the people while we waited. And then mom would lift me up onto Santaís lap, and I'd tell him what I wanted for Christmas. And she always got this great picture. And then we'd -- we'd go and get hot chocolate with marshmallows in the food court.
Nikolas: It's just that the idea of St. -- or Santa Claus --
Nikolas: In this country -- it's -- it's about commercialism. It's about making money.
Emily: Ok. Well, isn't being a Cassadine about making money, too?
Nikolas: Amongst a great many other things.
Emily: Is it possible for Spencer to appreciate every part of his heritage? The generosity of the Greek St. Nicholas? The love of his own father Nikolas? And the guy in the red suit in the --
Nikolas: I don't --
Emily: Department store with the fake beard?
Nikolas: I don't know. It's- it's a stretch, Emily.
Emily: If Spencer doesn't like it, then we can leave. I promise. Trust me, you're going to be glad you did this.
Robin: You know, you're making this very difficult for me.
Patrick: Well, that depends on what you're trying to do.
Robin: I'm -- I'm going to be late.
Robin: Stop, go away. Hmm. Let's see.
Patrick: Not a chance.
Robin: Why not? Why are you going to wear that wrinkled shirt when you can wear this one? Why are you still living in a hotel anyway?
Patrick: I like hotels.
Robin: It's cold, it's impersonal, and it's costing you a fortune.
Patrick: You say that like it's a bad thing.
Robin: Maybe you should stop living like you're going to skip town any moment, unless that's still a possibility.
Patrick: Yeah, I would like to have a place, but I don't have time. And hotels -- there's catering, they take care of you. It's kind of nice.
Robin: Then why don't you wear this shirt that I picked out for you?
Patrick: Here. If it's ok with you.
Robin: I -- it's all right. I can live with it.
Robin: Stop. I have to go to the hospital.
Patrick: All right. Well, I'm coming.
Robin: What about your hand?
Patrick: Well, I can't do surgery, but I'm not useless. Ahem.
Robin: Come on!
Patrick: Leave it.
Robin: I'm trying to button.
Spinelli: Breaking into the police computer is no problem, devoted daughter.
Lulu: Ok, I want to find out the evidence they have against my mother, review the case file, and see if they have any other suspects.
Spinelli: Your mom logged off the night it happened, correct?
Spinelli: Well, look, I don't mean to be disrespectful, understand, but if your mom lost her marbles over it, how can you be sure she didn't do it?
Det. Rodriguez: If Lucky finds out the truth and goes back to pills, it's Elizabeth and her kids who are going to get the worst.
Jason: I would never do anything to hurt Elizabeth.
Lucky: What did you say about Elizabeth?
Carly: You know, I thought about that night at the cabana, on the island when I ate breadsticks in your ear, while we were dancing. Do you remember that?
Sonny: It drove me crazy.
Carly: And you bought me that beautiful dress. You put the wedding rings back on my finger, and -- I was so angry with you.
Sonny: You don't want to marry Jax.
Carly: You don't want me, Sonny. You just don't want him to have me.
Sonny: You know, at first, I was trying to protect you, because I didn't want Jax to break your heart. Now, I'm starting to see. You haven't given Jax your heart.
Carly: That's -- that's not true.
Sonny: Carly -- ahem -- Jax isn't really what you want.
Epiphany: I like it better when you two aren't speaking to each other.
Patrick: Top of the morning to you, too.
Epiphany: Don't even think about trying to prove your brilliance operating with a broken hand.
Patrick: It's a minor metacarpal fracture. I'll be back in the O.R. in no time.
Robin: As long as you keep your cast on and follow Noahís orders.
Patrick: This is great. Mr. Malachy is responding well to the drug therapy. Keep monitoring him, and then we'll just reschedule his surgery.
Epiphany: It's already been taken care of.
Patrick: I love the fact that you basically run this hospital. I mean, you keep the nurses in line, you terrorize the interns, you keep everybody's ego in check. But even you, Ms. Johnson, don't know when I'll be back in the O.R.
Noah: Which is why I'll be performing the surgery for you.
Jason: Elizabeth and I have been friends for a long time. I don't want to see her get hurt by any of this. That's all I was saying.
Ric: We've got a situation.
Lulu: Oh, damn.
Lulu: Well, my brother's still out there and I don't want him to see me here.
Spinelli: Not to worry, blond one. The Jackal will make his move. You'll know what to do.
Lulu: Ok. Yeah, I'll find you.
Spinelli: Hey! I didn't do it! I'm innocent! The Jackal will not be contained!
Mac: Will you shut him up?
Ric: All right, look, the search for that flash drive is top priority. I expect a full investigation.
Mac: If you'd turned the flash drive in when we needed it --
Ric: Yes, and if we had some security around here, we wouldn't be dealing with this right now.
Diane: You have no case without the flash drive, and no positive I.D. from anyone that my client helped Ms. McCall in any manner.
Mac: He escaped from the hospital by taking a hostage.
Diane: The alleged hostage, Epiphany Johnson, refused to give a statement and isn't pressing charges.
Mac: A young man was murdered.
Diane: Not by my client.
Ric: Listen, unfortunately, Ms. Miller is correct. We have insufficient evidence, and therefore, we are going to have to drop the charges. You are free to go.
Mac: Well, you know how to work the system, don't you, Jason? You fire in the direction of police officers, careful not to hit them. You take a hostage you know won't press charges. Probably because her son works for you. Well, this is the truth about you, Jason. You see, you not only broke the law -- which you do all the time for fun and profit -- you endangered innocent people -- cops who are sworn to serve and protect and who were just there trying to do their job, and every person that worked and was being treated in that hospital, just because, what, you wanted to show up with a gun? You know, maybe you thought you were justified because Sam was allegedly framed by our esteemed D.A. But if someone had been killed, I'd see you prosecuted for murder.
Jason: Spinelli had nothing to do with this.
Diane: I think it's time to cut your losses, Mr. Lansing. You have no case against Mr. Spinelli, either.
Ric: You're free to go.
Spinelli: Oh, I'm free! Thank you, mobster lawyer.
Jason: Ok, come on. Thank you. Let's get out of here.
Spinelli: It's over, Stone Cold. We survived.
Jason: It's not going to be over until Samís name has been cleared.
Spinelli: The Goddess deserves your devotion.
Jason: Look, I just -- you know, I want to thank both of you for your help, ok? And I want you to stay away from Alcazar.
Lulu: Well, it's ok, because Spinelliís going to help me prove that my mom is innocent.
Spinelli: Well, look, understand, blond one -- um -- the Jackal runs alone and free. And I don't think --
Jason: You're going to help her.
Sonny: You don't fight with Jax?
Carly: Yes. Of course we fight. We do, but we don't go for the jugular, you know? We have limits and we have boundaries.
Sonny: So you don't put much on the line because you don't want to get hurt.
Carly: No, it's called mental health.
Sonny: Don't you miss the passion?
Carly: We have passion, ok?
Sonny: But you -- you play it safe.
Carly: No, I've grown up, Sonny. I don't have to be in pain to know that I'm in love. Jax is positive, you know? He doesn't feed into my insecurity weaknesses. And ok, we don't have the big reconciliations that you and I did, but we never allow ourselves to get that far apart. We don't tear each other down, you know?
Sonny: You don't miss the highs?
Carly: Of course I do. I don't miss the lows. I don't miss being with a man who can't forgive me, a man who can be incredibly generous one minute, and then take it away the next. You hurt me, Sonny.
Sonny: I'm sorry. But here we are, you know, all the same.
Carly: I got to get out of here.
Sonny: Carly, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Carly: You have something to say to me?
Sonny: You know I'm right.
Carly: No, you're not.
Lulu: Are you sure you can get into the PCPD system?
Spinelli: Have you no faith?
Lulu: Ok, I'll take that as a yes.
Dillon: How was your ski trip?
Spinelli: I see you as more of a snowboarding type, blond one.
Dillon: Is he a friend of Pamís?
Spinelli: Who's Pam?
Lulu: Shut up, please.
Spinelli: You're the -- you're the film guy from P.C.U.
Dillon: Yeah. You went on a ski trip with a computer geek?
Spinelli: Oh, hey, dude, what happened? Did you get kidnapped, too?
Dillon: You got kidnapped?
Spinelli: Oh, chill, dude. The blond one was safe under the protection of the Jackal.
Dillon: Shh, shh. You told me you went on a ski trip with Pam.
Spinelli: Dude, I told you, I don't know any Pam -- except Pam the Punisher. You know, from "Friday Night Wrestling." She's a fearsome fighter, but no match for the Dominator. Ooh, we're in.
Lulu: No, no, no, no, no! You don't want to see this. You don't -- you -- you won't want to --
Dillon: Oh, ok. You just, you know, hacked into the PCPD computer system. That's great. Are you out of your mind?
Lucky: That conversation I walked in on -- what did Morgan really say about my wife?
Det. Rodriguez: He thinks that Lansing pays too much attention to her.
Lucky: What about you?
Det. Rodriguez: I don't know.
Lucky: Ric says he gave me my job back to help Elizabeth.
Det. Rodriguez: Then watch your back, all right, because Ricís totally corrupt. He framed Sam McCall. And if he really has a thing for your wife --
Lucky: Then I guess the D.A. really doesn't have my best interest at heart.
Noah: I'll take that. Epiphany, the nurses all have microsurgery experience?
Epiphany: Well, that's what you asked for. Three interns have signed up to watch. The neurosurgery resident will assist. You're in O.R. two.
Noah: Thank you, thank you. This all looks great.
Patrick: So what procedure do you plan on using?
Noah: Laser optic axon transducer to separate the superficial layers. Then I'll dissect the deeper affected regions with simultaneous cauterization.
Patrick: What about collateral hemorrhage and edema?
Noah: That can't be avoided. And the benefits far outweigh the risk --
Patrick: The transducer is new technology and still has some glitches. Plus, it's not specific for this surgery.
Noah: They have very, very good results with this --
Patrick: The surgery can wait, epiphany.
Noah: It's my surgery. You can't cancel.
Patrick: Mr. Malachy is my patient, and he's responding well to the steroid hypertonic infusion, so --
Noah: Surgery is the best first line of attack for a high-grade glioma.
Patrick: Yes. And I am the best doctor for that surgery.
Noah: Well, that was until you slammed your million-dollar fist into a bartender's jaw. Now, Mr. Malachy can't wait just because you had a bad night. Whether you like it or not, his team will perform just fine without you.
Robin: Maybe you shouldn't work for a while.
Patrick: This is mostly your fault.
Robin: Excuse me?
Patrick: Well, you felt sorry for yourself, so you went and got and drunk, and I had to break my hand defending your honor.
Robin: You broke your hand because you were acting like a jerk.
Carly: I'm really sorry to keep you waiting. Hey.
Jax: Everything all right?
Carly: Yeah. Yeah, it's fine. I went to see Sonny. Turns out he didn't want to talk about the kids.
Jax: Well, that doesn't surprise me.
Carly: He wants me to come back to him.
Sonny: How'd it go?
Jason: Good, good. That new lawyer, man -- she is -- she is good. She got all the charges dropped.
Sonny: Somehow, I thought it was that simple.
Jason: Well, it wasn't that simple. Spinelli -- you know, he called up the fake records he put on the flash drive. And the cops went to find the original. It's missing, of course. Of course, Ric blames us for stealing it, but now, no one believes Ric, so --
Sonny: Is there any way Ricís going to get turned into internal affairs?
Jason: I don't think it's going to be that easy to get rid of him, Sonny.
Sonny: Well, you'd better be careful, because not only did you make him look like a fool, you made him look corrupt. And he's a vindictive son of a bitch.
Jason: I already knew that.
Sonny: And did I, but somehow I let myself forget. You know how sometimes you talk yourself into things? Compromises, excuses -- Ric should be -- he should be dead --
Sonny: Plain and simple, and he's not -- for my own reasons that I don't want to get into. It's not worth it. You know, I talk about Carly and her convoluted way of thinking. But I'm no better.
Jason: Uh -- yeah, you are.
Sonny: Listen to me. You know when Carly didn't tell me about Kristina for -- for months? Could you ever forgive that?
I'm not you.
Sonny: I know, but if you were -- let's say hypothetically speaking, if you had a kid out there and Sam didn't tell you, could you forgive her?
Jason: Uh -- you know what? I don't know. I don't know. I guess it would depend on why -- why she didn't tell you. Of course, I would be angry. I hope I could, you know, t past it.
Sonny: I thought I'd never get past Carly keeping that secret. I didn't want it to poison our family. I thought we were better off apart. So I'm talking to mike earlier, and he says to me, "you should've never divorced Carly. You regret it every day." And part of me is starting to believe he's right. (Announcer) all of us have internal plumbing.
Nikolas: Never again.
Nikolas: Spencer -- he can write to Santa every year if he wants, but no more visits, ever.
Emily: Aw, it wasn't that bad, and look how sweet this picture is.
Nikolas: He looks -- he's terrified.
Emily: He's laughing -- probably at you.
Nikolas: But what did we teach him by doing this? Nothing.
Emily: What? That -- that going to visit Santa is one part of Christmas. It's not the only part, and it's not the most important part, but it's a whole lot of fun, isn't it, Spencer?
Nikolas: Yeah, if you don't mind crass American commercialism.
Emily: Which we don't, most of the time. Do we, little guy?
Nikolas: Go to Emily.
Emily: Come here. Hey, buddy.
Nikolas: He's not like the other kids.
Emily: Yeah. He's richer, he lives on an island. But do you really want him to grow up with the weight of the Cassadine Empire on his shoulders? Why not let him have a little magic in his life, huh? Even if it is all wrapped up in American crass commercialism? I don't know, I just want him to know that wishes do come true.
Nikolas: So? What did you ask Santa to bring him?
Emily: You're going to have to wait and see.
Sonny: Emily was great. I loved Emily. And I -- I didn't imagine what we had together. Are you sure you're going to be comfortable listening to this?
Sonny: I mean, despite the fact that, you know, half the time, I was losing my mind when we were together, she -- she was fantastic. And a part of that -- a big part of that -- is that she -- she helped me not miss Carly so much. I wanted to be with her, and I -- you know, I wanted to be better for her, but I wasnít. And as you know, when I broke, Carly was there, somehow. You know what I'm saying, Jason? One way or another, Carlyís there and -- no matter how many times we break up or who I end up being with. And I -- I wanted to tell her that. But my pride wouldn't let me. And now she's marrying Jax. And, you know, I got no one to blame but myself.
Jax: I'm not surprised that Sonny would pull out all the stops. After all, we're getting married in 2 1/2 weeks. This is precisely what I didn't want to put you through.
Carly: I'm fine. I'm ok.
Jax: Yeah, still, we should have gone out of town for the wedding. We should have gone out of town for the holidays.
Carly: We couldn't go out of town. There's the pageant, and Sonny loves being with his boys at Christmas, and they like seeing him, too. You know, I have to tell you, I'm glad that it happened. I am. Because no matter what Sonny said to me, I don't want to go back to where we were. And he can't change that, no matter what he does.
Jax: Yeah, I know. I know.
Carly: I'm in love with you. I am so in love with you, and the whole time that I sat there with Sonny, I kept thinking about how much I wanted to be with you and how much I trust you and how much I trust us.
Man: Excuse me, a message for you, sir.
Lorenzo: Skye, thank you for waiting. I had to take care of some business.
Skye: I'll bet you did. Ric dropped all the charges against Jason. It's all over the news.
Skye: Are you disappointed?
Lorenzo: Well, aside from a I don't think things could have gone better. My girlfriend and I were talking about osteoporosis
Dillon: You see, you can't hack into the PCPD computer system because you'll go to jail. Have you been doing this all along?
Lulu: Can you pull up Rick Webberís autopsy file?
Dillon: Oh --
Spinelli: It's a morgue file. It'll take a second.
Lulu: What about a list of suspects?
Dillon: Oh, my God -- you can't do this.
Spinelli: Uh -- no suspects.
Lulu: Are you sure?
Spinelli: I'm the jackal. Assassin of cyberspace. If I say there are no suspects, well, there are no suspects.
Dillon: Look, I've seen this in a million different movie plots, ok? The innocent woman railroaded by the system. The cops just want to close the case so they're not open to new suspects.
Lulu: It is not a movie; it's my mom's life.
Dillon: I know. That's what I'm saying. Then think, all right? Just because the PCPD says there's no suspects does not mean there's no suspects. Now, think. Who else has motive to kill Rick Webber?
Monica: Aha. I understand you are not operating for a few days.
Patrick: Guess the word's gotten out.
Monica: Mm-hmm. So I wonder if you would talk about cerebrovascular disease to some interns tomorrow.
Patrick: Yeah, that'd be great. What time?
Monica: I think it's around 10:30, but I'll have my assistant call you and confirm.
Monica: Thank you.
Robin: Since it is a little bit my fault, I have an idea of how I can make it up to you.
Patrick: And what's that?
Robin: I could help you look for an apartment. I mean, it's the least I can do after you broke your hand "defending my honor."
Emily: Your father loves you, Spencer, but he's still learning what it means bring up a child in America. But Alfred came through with the hot chocolate, though, didn't he? See, that is the whole idea. Just to honor each other's traditions, huh?
Nikolas: Yes, which brings me to the Christmas pageant.
Emily: Ok -- um -- it's going to benefit the homeless children, so that should make the Greek St. Nicholas happy. And pageants are an ancient custom. Right? I'll bet the Cassadines used to have them all the time, didn't they?
Nikolas: Yes, yes, of course we did. They just didn't involve the children of a mob boss and the Cassadine heir starring as baby Jesus. I mean --
Emily: You're really nervous about this, aren't you?
Nikolas: Yeah, I'm having second thoughts.
Emily: Ok. Spencer's going to be surrounded by people who love him. And Morgan as the little drummer boy, and Michael as Joseph.
Nikolas: Michael? What if he -- what if he panics? What if he starts crying? What if --
Emily: He wonít. You are going to be a wonderful baby Jesus, aren't you? You're not going to be scared at all.
Colleen: Here's your deposit.
Colleen: Hmm. My son is going to love it here.
Ric: I have reason to believe that Jason stole that flash drive be contains evidence that could put him in prison.
Lucky: Well, unless it matches with what Spinelli came up with, it's all fake.
Ric: Well, Spinelliís lying. Jason is guilty. I want you to find that flash drive. If Jason has destroyed it, then I want you to find something else that we can use against him.
Lucky: So far, I haven't had a lot of success when it comes to busting Jason.
Ric: Are you refusing an assignment?
Lucky: No, it's -- no, not at all, it's just that --
Ric: I -- I made sure that you got your job back, Lucky. I'm the reason that you haven't -- I mean, Mac Scorpio, he -- he thinks that you're not fit to wear a badge because you seduced his daughter and then you got her pregnant while you were still married to Elizabeth. And you worked high for months, endangering the public trust. You even accepted a medal, which made the commissioner and the mayor both look very ridiculous. I mean, they don't think you're really fit to be a cop. Just got out of rehab. Everybody's expecting you to backslide sooner rather than later, but not me, Lucky. I believe in you. Please, trust is not misplaced.
Lucky: It isnít.
Lucky: I told you from the start there might be some issues when it comes to Jason.
Ric: Well, I know that you want to go easy on him because then it curries favor with Elizabeth. But I need you to do your job, Lucky. Is it going to be a problem?
Skye: You were hell-bent on getting revenge. Now, Jasonís going to walk, and Sam might, too? You seem awfully calm about it.
Lorenzo: Well, you know what they say about revenge.
Skye: Best served cold?
Lorenzo: And by surprise. When things calm down, when the people who killed my son think that I have forgotten and moved on, I will avenge Diegoís death.
Carly: Is everything ok?
Jax: Yeah, it's nothing to be concerned about.
Carly: It's from jerry. He's bailing on the wedding, isn't he?
Jax: I never expected him to come to the wedding in the first place.
Carly: Is he stuck in some jungle? Or does he not want to see you marry me?
Jax: It doesn't matter what jerry thinks. It doesn't matter what Sonny thinks. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, ok? All that matters is, is that -- that we love each other, right?
Sonny: I made lobster.
Sonny: Because it's -- you know, it's the only seafood Carly eats. And then I flirted with her, because that -- she knows I get to her and then she acts like I donít. Not this time. She started talking about Jax and how great he is and how he makes her feel and -- so she gets up to leave, and that -- and I said, "Wait, Carly." And that was my chance to tell her, you know, that I -- that I loved her -- whatever I wanted to say to her. D then --
Sonny: You know what I said to her? "You know I'm right." So she left. Come on, tell me, what do you think? Do you think Jax is going to be happy with --?
Jason: Come on, Sonny, I -- please. I don't know.
Sonny: You're her best friend. You know -- you can take a guess at least.
Jason: Uh -- I don't like Jax. Ok? But I think he does love Carly, and I think Carly loves him, as much as she can.
Sonny: What does that mean, "as much as she can"?
Jason: Ok, you -- you tried to be this new better person for Emily.
Jason: Right? Ok, I think that's what Carlyís trying to do for Jax, but you know what? The bottom line is the person you trust is the person who sees you at your worst, and stands by you anyway.
Sonny: Oh, I get it. So I get to be the guy who's trusted, and he gets everything? My -- my family, my wife, my kids? I know I should be happy, because of what I put her through. But it's hard. I canít. You know what? I'm going -- going.
Jason: Where -- where are you going?
Sonny: I'm going -- I'm going to the island. I'm not going to watch Jax and Carly get married. I'm going to go the island. I will be here after New Yearís.
Jason: Ok -- um -- well --
Jason: I'll call you if there's any problems.
Sonny: Yeah, you can handle it. You can handle it. You know, sometimes you -- you give something up, and you count on getting it back. And then you realize maybe you canít. You got to hold on to what you got.
Jason: Hey, it's me. I need to see you.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Dillon: It's going to be a lot harder to prove your mother's innocence without Lukeís help.
Spinelli: Maybe not.
Lucky: Do I go after Jason if I risk upsetting Elizabeth?
Michael: We can't be in a Christmas pageant when dad's not going to be there to see it.
Carly: I'm going to go talk Sonny into coming back.
Jax: No, you're not.
Sam: It's nice to be home.
