Ric: Sam was arrested for stealing evidence that could help us bring down the Corinthos/Morgan operation. As a token of his appreciation, Jason decided to help Sam break out of custody this morning.
Lucky: Well, why bring it to me?
Ric: Well, you've had experience tracking Jason’s movements. I was thinking maybe you can help us figure out where he might be.
Lucky: You had him under surveillance?
Ric: I think these photos will be quite revealing.
Elizabeth: Lucky, don’t.
Lucky: What's wrong?
Elizabeth: If you open that, it could ruin everything.
Mayor Floyd: Have Sam McCall and Jason Morgan been apprehended?
Mac: We're working on it. Sam and Jason have been spotted six blocks east of here on a rooftop.
Mayor Floyd: I have a room full of press outside waiting for an explanation as to how a prisoner escaped from this department. Until you have Morgan or McCall in custody, do not summon me again. I don't appreciate my time being wasted.
Mac: Mayor, I don't know who called you, but it certainly wasn't me.
Alexis: I did. You know what? Frankly, I'm appalled. I've only been gone a few weeks and this department is in chaos.
Mayor Floyd: Alexis, what are you doing here?
Alexis: I'm resuming my duties as District Attorney, effective immediately.
Mayor Floyd: Alexis, it was my understanding you wouldn't be returning to work until after your chemo was finished.
Alexis: You understood wrong.
Mayor Floyd: Actually, your husband assured me that he would continue as Interim DA until your health improved.
Alexis: Ric doesn't speak for me now, nor has he ever.
Mayor Floyd: I see. Well, tell me, then -- who actually are you speaking for these days?
Woman: She looks just like the girl in the pictures you showed me -- same long hair, dark eyes. I'm telling you, it's her. Here, see for yourself.
[Knock on door]
Jason: Hi, if this is about the leak --
Woman: Oh, oh, no --
Jason: We just -- what?
Woman: No, it's about your girlfriend. Is she still here?
Luke: All of Laura's doctors have told me that if she remembers having killed her stepfather, Rick, that it could put back all the progress she's made. It could in an instant put her right back in that rocking chair staring at the wall.
Tracy: Really? Then what about the other truth you're hiding? What's going to happen to her when you tell her you're married to me?
Laura: This place looks incredible.
Tracy: Thank you.
Laura: Uh -- I -- I -- I thought I saw the closed sign.
Luke: Yeah, you did. We're not open for another hour.
Laura: Ok. Well, then why is she here?
Tracy: Luke, you want to tell her? Or should I?
Jason: My -- my girlfriend went to bed early. She's still feeling really, really sick.
Woman: Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Jason: Um, is there -- is there anything that I can, you know, help you with?
Woman: Oh, well, this is Thelma.
Woman: She lives down the hall in 103.
Thelma: I used to live on the fourth floor --
Thelma: But with my hip and all, the doctor said I shouldn't be walking the stairs.
Jason: Oh, ok. What can I -- what can I do for you?
Woman: Oh, well, I was just telling Thelma about you and your lady friend from Canada.
Thelma: She sounds just like my niece Constance.
Jason: Oh, do you know what? I -- I'm sorry. I don't know Constance.
Thelma: Uh -- that's just her given name. Most of her friends call her Cookie.
Jason: Ok, ok. I -- Cookie, I don't -- my girlfriend is Caroline.
Woman: Oh, oh. Would Caroline like some chicken soup? I mean, we could make up a batch.
Thelma: I make the best recipe!
Jason: You know what? You don't have to go to any trouble.
Woman: Oh, it's no trouble at all. We'd bring it over when it's done.
Jason: That's all I could -- that's all I could think of. What was I supposed to say?
Sam: Well, I guess it is better than you calling me "Elizabeth."
Elizabeth: If you jump back into work too soon, it could jeopardize your recovery.
Lucky: Hey, eventually, I'm going to have to start living my life again.
Elizabeth: But you need to focus on rehab and not be distracted by anything else.
Ric: Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause any problems here. I just thought that Lucky was very anxious to get back on the force. If it's too soon, Lucky --
Lucky: No --
Ric: I don't mean to push.
Lucky: No, it's not. I -- it feels good to be wanted again.
Ric: So what can you tell me about those pictures?
Lucky: Well, you probably know more than I do. I just -- I've only met Sonny's accountant a few times.
Ric: Have you ever tailed Jason to that particular location?
Lucky: Jason and Bernie do business on the pier all the time.
Ric: Ok, what about nearby? Is there any place that you can think of that he might have taken Sam?
Lucky: You know what? I'm sorry. I should've told you from the start -- if this case has anything to do with Jason, I can't help. It would be a conflict of interest.
Mac: I think you should check yourself back into the hospital.
Mayor Floyd: I agree with the commissioner, Alexis. You should be focusing on getting well, not using your position to protect your daughter and her lowlife boyfriend.
Alexis: That would be an obstruction of justice.
Mayor Floyd: Which is exactly my point. Sam McCall was arrested for tampering with evidence, she escaped from police custody with the help of Jason Morgan, and now you show up with Morgan’s business partner wanting your job back. How else would you explain this sudden desire to push Ric out of the DA's chair?
Alexis: Mr. Corinthos is here because I asked him to cooperate in resolving this matter.
Sonny: We all want it resolved as soon as possible.
Mayor Floyd: I doubt that, Mr. Corinthos, considering the evidence in question could put you and Morgan behind bars for life.
Alexis: You call that evidence? All you have is a yet-to-be deciphered flash drive that you're building this whole case around. If that's all Ric has, he's going to have to do better than that if he wants Mr. Corinthos to see the inside of a courtroom.
Mayor Floyd: I have complete confidence in Ric’s ability to see that justice is served.
Alexis: And what about your constituents, mayor? How do you think they'll feel during election time because I have no trouble exposing the fact that you have a boys' club agenda and that you are capitalizing on my illness. As a matter of fact, I'm going to call the editor of the "Port Charles Herald" right now because she owes me a favor.
Mayor Floyd: There is no need to involve the press.
Alexis: You know, I think that the citizens of this great city have a right to know how the tax dollars are being spent.
Sonny: Hey. Hey.
Sonny: You all right?
Carly: You're going to owe me big-time for this.
Carly: Because the last time we talked to Alexis about our wedding, she threw up and I don't want to have to clean it up again.
Jax: She was feeling nauseous because of the chemo, not because we told her about our wedding.
Carly: Well, why risk it?
Jax: "Why risk it?"
Jax: She's the Best Person. We need to tell her that we've set a date.
Carly: Yeah, now she knows how much time she has left to talk you out of it, right?
Jax: Ok, you know what? If you're going to be difficult about this, then I'm going to have to bribe you.
Carly: Ok, I'm listening.
Jax: If you come with me to speak to Alexis, I will take you someplace special tonight.
Carly: You always take me someplace special. Besides, I've already seen the view from your bed.
Jax: Well, I just -- I had something dressier in mind -- at least to start out. Now, come on.
Patrick: Chinese tonight?
Robin: I already made reservations at Mr. Chang's.
Patrick: It's happening.
Robin: What's happening?
Patrick: We're becoming predictable.
Robin: We are not predictable. We just found our rhythm -- there's nothing wrong with that.
Patrick: It's boring. We're boring.
Robin: We are not boring.
Patrick: Every Friday night, we go to Mr. Chang's for dinner -- you order orange chicken; I get pan fried noodles. They practically have our order ready by the time we get there.
Robin: Ok. Some would call that excellent service.
Patrick: When was the last time we did anything spontaneous? You can't remember because we don’t. Face it -- we're boring.
Robin: Ok, fine. Forget Mr. Chang’s. You want spontaneity? You got it.
Nikolas: Emily? Hi.
Nikolas: Hi, have you -- have you spoken to Bobbie yet today?
Emily: Yeah. I just saw her. Why?
Nikolas: Did she -- did she mention that I came by here earlier?
Emily: No, no. What -- what's wrong? Is it Spencer?
Nikolas: No. No, my mother. She's come back to us.
Emily: What, Laura’s awake?
Nikolas: Yeah, yeah. Robin arranged for her to be treated with an experimental medication and she came around last Friday.
Emily: That's wonderful --
Emily: Nikolas, but why didn't you tell me? I --
Nikolas: Oh, well, you know, see, Luke insisted that we keep it a secret to minimize any emotional strain on my mother, but --
Nikolas: Now she's left Shadybrook on her own and come by here to see Bobbie.
Emily: But Laura’s capable of getting around on her own?
Nikolas: Yeah, yeah. She's strong, coherent, almost completely back to normal.
Nikolas: You know, I'm -- I'm still trying to grasp it myself. Her recovery has made me re-evaluate just about everything in my life.
Tracy: Laura, a lot more than the decor has changed around here since you've been gone. Luke and I are --
Luke: Business partners. It's Tracy’s money that's keeping the Star afloat.
Laura: Really? Huh. Well, what is it that made you want to invest in Luke?
Tracy: I'm expecting a sizable return in the future.
Luke: And you're going to get it. I was just discussing with Tracy how slowly we need to take things right now while you are getting readjusted -- you know, no big surprises.
Tracy: Mm-hmm. Imagine mine when I ran into Laura at the hospital.
Laura: Oh, well, don't feel too bad about that. He didn't tell my mother or Bobbie and they're family.
Luke: Speaking of family, the kids -- they've been so worried. We -- we've got to call them right away and, Tracy, that business problem -- we'll discuss that later.
Tracy: Oh, you bet we will. Laura? Welcome home.
Laura: Well, she hasn't changed a bit, has she?
Laura: And neither have you. You are holding a couple of cards very close to the vest -- maybe even a couple up your sleeve?
Luke: Sweetheart, why did you walk away from Shadybrook? You had me panicked.
Laura: I don't know. I felt like it was time to start living my life again.
Luke: Well, I'm sure it is time and I appreciate that, but we have to take it slowly.
Laura: No, I want answers. Why won't you give them to me? Luke, I lost four years of my life, and when I ask you why, all you give me are these vague references to an accident that I can't even remember. Now, why is that?
Luke: It's because the doctors want you to take it slowly.
Laura: But not knowing is a lot worse, and you're -- everybody's being so secretive about it, even my own mother. I asked her and she said that I should just trust you.
Luke: She's a very wise woman.
Laura: No, please don't do this to me. I need -- I need answers. I need to know what happened.
Luke: Ok, ok. All right. Sit down, sweetheart.
Luke: Laura, Rick Webber is dead.
Laura: Oh, that's -- that's awful. But I haven't seen him in so many years --
Luke: No. You invited him back here to give you away at our second wedding.
Laura: I did? Huh. It was really nice of you to come back after all this time.
Rick: Laura, I could've never asked for a better daughter.
Laura: Oh, yes, I remember! I remember seeing him again. But that's -- that's all I remember. I mean, was Rick in the accident, too?
Luke: You have to face the truth, sweetheart. Rick's dead.
Luke: He's dead, Laura.
Laura: No! He's not.
Luke: You were in the attic, trying to figure all this out, and Rick came there. It was just the two of you in the attic, you and Rick. Now, think. Try to remember. He came towards you with a needle, a syringe. You thought he was going to hurt you.
Laura: Oh, God, no. No. Oh, God, no. No! No! Luke? Is that how he died?
Luke: Yes. It was a car accident.
Laura: Was I driving?
Luke: Yeah. Yeah, and we -- we've been afraid that if you remembered that, you would still feel responsible, and you weren't responsible. It wasn't your fault.
Laura: Really? Well -- oh.
Luke: Are you ok?
Laura: Yes --
Luke: Oh --
Laura: I am. Um -- will you come with me?
Laura: I want to remember more.
Patrick: You're going to be spontaneous?
Robin: Don't look so surprised.
Patrick: What are you going to do, order white rice instead of brown, really shake them up?
Robin: Forget Mr. Chang's, ok? Be ready in an hour and look pretty.
Nikolas: So, Laura’s repressed any -- any memory of Rick Webber’s death, but Luke -- Luke doesn't want to push her, so he made up this story about an accident that she had.
Emily: And you're worried that the real memory could surface and cause Laura to have a setback?
Nikolas: Yeah -- well, I think we can minimize the trauma by telling her the truth now before she remembers it on her own, but Luke is adamant about keeping it from her.
Nikolas: I just -- I think there's more to that night than he's telling us.
Emily: Honey, Luke’s just being cautious. I mean, most people don't get a second chance after losing the love of their life.
Jax: Have you seen Alexis
Nikolas: No. She's -- what, she's not in her room?
Jax: No, I spoke with Dr. Trent. She's not scheduled for any treatments, so --
Nikolas: Where -- where could she have gone?
Carly: Oh. By the looks of it, no place good.
Nikolas: Are you all right? Where have you been?
Alexis: I had business to take care of.
Jason: As soon as Stan drops off the passports, we need to head out.
Sam: Where are we going?
Jason: Going to cross the border into Canada, take a flight down to Costa Rica, and we're going to wait there until Sonny can just make this go away. Now, just grab anything you can out of the closet because we are not going to have time to stop again.
Sam: I'm sorry.
Jason: For what?
Sam: Because I brought up Elizabeth and it was probably the wrong thing to do --
Jason: It's -- you know what?
Sam: Even though I kind of --
Jason: We need to -- we need to trust each other enough to say what's on our minds. So it's ok. Don't -- don't worry about it.
Lucky: Mac found out that I was on pills. He took my badge and kicked me off the force. I thought if I made a big bust, he would give me my job back.
Ric: So you went after Jason?
Lucky: Yeah, I set him up. I stole cocaine from the evidence room and placed it at the scene.
Elizabeth: But that's over now.
Lucky: No, it's not. If this case has anything to do with Jason, it just -- it wouldn't be right.
Ric: Well, I admire your honesty. Most cops would try to cover this up.
Lucky: Well, I have nothing to lose. I'm sorry I couldn't be any help.
Ric: No. Sorry to take up your time.
Lucky: I have a few minutes before my next session. Did you want to talk to me about something?
Elizabeth: No, it can wait. I'll come back later.
Ric: Thanks a lot, Lucky.
Ric: You thought I was going to show him the pictures of you and Jason, didn't you?
Elizabeth: Well, what was I supposed to think?
Ric: I told you that I wouldn’t. Did you think I was going to break my promise?
Luke: Oh -- found the problem.
Laura: A nail?
Luke: A nail? Baby, that is practically a spike. Oh. Sliced the old girl's shoe right open. Toss me the keys -- I'll dig out the spare.
Laura: Um -- why bother? We're so close, why don't we just walk the rest of the way?
Luke: You -- you want to walk?
Laura: Sure, why not? What's the worst that could happen?
Elizabeth: If you wanted Lucky to hate Jason enough to help you find him, all you'd have to do is show him those pictures.
Ric: I would never use you like that, Elizabeth. The last thing you need in your life right now I think is more stress.
Elizabeth: Oh, why, because I'm pregnant?
Ric: You know, I know what losing our child did to you and I would never want you to go through that kind of pain again. The only reason I was here was because I wanted to help Lucky get back on his feet. Your marriage may be over, but that child needs a stable father.
Elizabeth: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions.
Ric: No, no, it's all right. You don't have to apologize. I've given you every reason in the world to doubt me. I just hope that someday soon that you'll find it in your heart to trust me again.
Stan: You got two sets of IDs, American and Canadian. They're government-issue so you don't have to worry about any flags getting sent from customs or security.
Stan: I booked separate identities as well as destinations. The Americans are going to Costa Rica; the Canadians are going to Oman.
Stan: Well, I saw a special on PBS. It looks like an amazing country. I loaded the program along with some music. If you hike the Wadi, let me know if it's worth going.
Jason: Ok. Thanks, again.
Stan: And don't worry. I'm on the trail of whoever programmed that flash drive.
Jason: All right.
Sam: "Hike the Wadi "?
Jason: Well, you know what? I think it means "canyon" but, you know, we can just go to Costa Rica. Are you -- are you finished packing?
Sam: Yeah, but everything is in the wrong size, so --
Jason: Ok, well, you know, we -- we need to just get new stuff when we get down there. It's going to look suspicious if we fly without luggage.
Sam: You know, I -- I actually did some salvage work down there for a few months. And there's this really beautiful beach, like, 30 miles north of Puerto Viejo. Not many people know about it; not many people are there. The -- the sand is really white and -- kind of reminds me of Hawaii, actually.
Jason: Yeah, we really need to go, Sam.
Sam: Jason, no.
Jason: It's a long drive to Canada.
Sam: I'm innocent. And if we run, Ric's going to get away with setting you up and framing me and I -- I say we stay here and fight this.
Jason: Are -- are you sure? Because it's not -- it's not going to be easy.
Sam: Nothing worth having ever is.
Alexis: You're hovering. You're all hovering. You need to stop that.
Jax: Well, if you'll agree to take better care of yourself. I mean, you still have that infection, you know? You had no business leaving the hospital whatsoever.
Alexis: You heard what Dr. Trent just said. He said that I'm actually doing better and that in like a few days; I can go home and be with the girls.
Jax: Well, that should give you plenty of time to prepare.
Carly: Oh, you know what? She needs her rest. We can do this later.
Jax: No, this'll only take a second.
Carly: She's had a long day. We'll just come back another time.
Carly: Come on.
Jax: Carly and I have set a date, ok?
Jax: Your services as Best Person are required November 16.
Woman: Sorry, this is the only room that we've got left
Laura: That's ok. We've had lots of good memories in this one.
Luke: Yes, we do.
Landlady: Well, since we converted it for my nephews, it hardly gets rented out anymore.
Laura: Well, we can improvise. We were always good at that.
Landlady: Were you here about four years ago? Divorced couple getting ready to remarry?
Luke: That would be us.
Landlady: Oh, I knew I remembered you. And how is married life this time around?
Mac: Apparently, your wife doesn't appreciate the way you're handling the case against her daughter. As a matter of fact, Alexis checked herself out of the hospital. She came down here to take her job back.
Ric: You know, she shouldn't be out of a hospital bed. She gets another infection, that's going to kill her.
Mac: She made some good points -- before she collapsed.
Ric: She collapsed?
Mac: Yeah, she's gone back to the hospital. But she pointed out that maybe you're making Sam out to be public enemy number one for the publicity. Sam is not charged with a capital crime. All she did was --
Ric: Did, did -- all she did was steal the most incriminating piece of evidence we've ever had against Sonny and Jason.
Mac: Alleged evidence. We don't even know what's on that flash drive.
Ric: Really? Then why'd she steal it in the first place? And why is she running now, Mac?
Mac: She claims she was set up, Ric, by you.
Ric: Oh, so you're going to believe some gangster's girlfriend over the -- the DA?
Mac: Interim DA Alexis still holds the job.
Ric: Yes, and my wife is unable to perform those duties. Until that happens, I'm the boss. You have a problem with that?
Mac: Well, boss, you better hope what's ever on that flash drive is enough to bring Sonny and Jason down.
Ric: Are you threatening me, commissioner?
Mac: Why would I do that? Oh -- if you're interested, I called the hospital. Alexis is doing much better.
Jason: You escaped from police custody, ok? And now that I'm helping you, Ric is going to authorize the cops to bring us in by any means necessary. Ric wants me dead. It's safer to get as far away from Port Charles as possible.
Sam: Ok, what are you saying? Are -- are you saying that we should leave, or --
Jason: I'm saying that -- I'm saying that we have options. If -- if you want to run, I'll run. If you want to stay, I will stay with you. But this is your choice.
Sam: Ric has taken enough away from me already. I say that we stay. We stay here and expose him for the corrupt pig that he is. Come on, Jason.
Jason: Ok, that's what we'll do. But first, we need -- we need to find -- we need to find a better safe house.
Sam: Ok. And then?
Jason: Ok, then we need to figure out how Ric got the evidence to frame you.
Tracy: What? No papoose?
Skye: Lila Rae is staying home this evening.
Tracy: Oh, please, would you not call her that?
Lorenzo: It is her name.
Tracy: It's my mother's name. And every time you call her that, my mother turns over in her grave.
Skye: I think Lila would be delighted to have a namesake.
Tracy: Maybe. But not one with a gangster for a father.
Skye: Do you think she's all right?
Lorenzo: Tracy? No.
Skye: Lila Rae. It's the first time we're leaving her home alone.
Lorenzo: She's got two nurses, a nanny, and my entire staff tending to her. She'll be fine.
Skye: She's just not used to your house.
Lorenzo: Well, the more time she spends there, the more comfortable she'll be. Besides, it'll give me an excuse to see her.
Skye: You don't need an excuse to see your daughter. You do, however, need one to see me.
Patrick: Interesting choice.
Robin: Well, you wanted spontaneous.
Patrick: Thank you. For someone so obsessed with being in control, I'm surprised you're willing to leave tonight to chance.
Robin: I don't know -- gambling is all about calculating the odds. If you have a system, you can't lose. What, you don't think I can win?
Patrick: No, I think you can. That the problem.
Emily: If you want to go back to the hospital and check on Alexis, we can.
Nikolas: No, no, she assured me that she would feel better if we went out and had some fun.
Nikolas: But if you -- I mean, if you want to go someplace else, I understand.
Emily: No. Why?
Nikolas: Well, it's just the last time we were here, it wasn't exactly the best night for you and Sonny.
Emily: I'm not with Sonny anymore. Tonight's about you and me.
Jax: I'm getting married in a few weeks and I want you there standing up for me.
Alexis: I want to stand up for you. I want to do it right now. I just want to make sure that Carly loves you --
Jax: Alexis --
Alexis: The way that you should be loved.
Jax: Alexis, come on. We've -- we've talked -- we've been over this already. You don't have to worry.
Alexis: Do you know what today is? It's my second wedding anniversary. No marriage, only regret. I don't want that for you. Maybe you should just call it off for a little while so you can really think about this.
Carly: You know, Michael has this project for his health class about eating nothing but fruits and vegetables for a solid week -- something I know nothing about. And I said you could help him with it because my, you know, food pyramid consists of nothing but frozen pizza and potato chips.
Sonny: It takes a few weeks to plan a wedding.
Carly: Not when you're motivated. I'm hoping you'll be able to attend.
Sonny: You don't want me anywhere near that church.
Carly: I think it will help the boys, I do, especially Michael, since he needs to really get over the fact that you and I are not going to be getting back together, so --
Sonny: Well, Michael can be pretty stubborn when he -- he wants something.
Carly: And he needs to learn that he's not always going to get what he wants. So will you help out?
Sonny: What, do you mean go -- go to the wedding?
Sonny: Yeah. Um -- I -- I wouldn't miss the wedding for the world.
Laura: I was really hoping we could go for a walk. You know, go see the old movie theater. And then go get a cup of coffee at Calhoun’s.
Luke: Yeah, we still could.
Laura: It's really pouring.
Luke: Well, I don't think Lloyd and Lucy Johnson would let a little rainstorm stop them from strolling. Of course, we could just stay here, stay cozy and dry -- do something else.
Laura: What do you have in mind?
Luke: Well --
Singer: And did you
Luke: For starters, may I have this dance?
Singer: About the beauty in you shines a simple little smile because of you all my worries pass me by and we can live
Luke: I know.
Singer: And we can love
Luke: I know, baby.
Singer: And fly away and as time passes by I sit back and try to find a reason why it took so long for this someday when I die you'll be by my side
Laura: Maybe it's time for bed, huh?
Singer: Miles and miles from love
Laura: Here. You can do the honors, Lloyd.
Luke: Why, Ms. Lucy, I thought we were a little bit past the --
Luke: Walls of Jericho.
Laura: Well, you know, I thought maybe we could both use a little privacy.
Singer: Each day
Singer: With you my dreams have come true
Sam: Cruz, we need to talk.
Det. Rodriguez: Mac has the entire department out looking for you.
Sam: I -- I didn't steal the flash drive.
Det. Rodriguez: Then why did you run?
Sam: Because I had no choice. Ric is trying to frame me.
Jason: We need to know how. No, no -- easy, easy, ok? Now, put it away. We just -- we just want -- we just want some information.
Det. Rodriguez: I don't care what you want. I should be arresting you both right now.
Sam: Look, you had a chance to do it at the station, but you didn’t. Because you know I'm right about Ric. I can prove it. I just need a little bit of help.
Det. Rodriguez: What do you want to know?
Jason: Ok, the flash drive -- what's on it?
Det. Rodriguez: I don't know. It's encrypted. The tech guys didn't have much time to work on it before it went missing.
Jason: When -- when did you first notice it was gone?
Det. Rodriguez: Ric wanted all the evidence from the raid on your warehouse logged in and notarized. While I was making the arrangements, the flash drive disappeared from the box.
Jason: Ok, did -- did Ric leave the station between the time he asked you to log in and the time they found it at Sam’s?
Det. Rodriguez: Yeah, he said he had some business to take care of.
Sam: He was planting evidence in my room.
Det. Rodriguez: It had your fingerprint on it.
Sam: Come on, Cruz! How hard do you think it would be to get my fingerprint on something?
Jason: Ok, where's the flash drive now?
Det. Rodriguez: Ric has it.
Sam: Fine. We're going to have to take it from him.
Jax: So is this enough reward for making you suffer through those few torturous moments with Alexis?
Carly: Hmm -- it's getting there.
Jax: Why don't we step it up a little bit, then?
Carly: Well, what are you talking about?
Jax: May I have everyone's attention, please?
Carly: Oh, my God -- shh.
Jax: This beautiful woman standing in front of me has agreed to become my wife on November 16, and I would like you to all help us celebrate. Champagne for everyone.
Sonny: Ok -- uh -- just -- first of all, I want to thank you for coming with me to the police station.
Alexis: A lot of good it did. Collapsing on the squad room floor -- it didn't exactly inspire the competence --
Alexis: I was hoping to project to get my job back.
Sonny: You tried, didn't you?
Alexis: I did.
Sonny: I know it must be hard trying to help Sam after, you know, what she did.
Alexis: Let's not go there.
Alexis: What's really depressing is my best friend is getting married to your ex-wife. And not only do I have to bear witness, I have to stand there d pledge my everlasting support. What do you think of that?
Sonny: Don't worry about that wedding. It's not going to happen.
Luke: I don't think I even have a soul.
Laura: That's not true.
Luke: Well, maybe "soul's" the wrong word. I don't know what the word is, but whatever it is, without you, I don't have it.
Luke: I'm, like, stumbling around in the dark without you. And having you back -- it's -- it's like waking up. Waking up things that I thought were lost -- forever.
Laura: Nothing's lost. I'm right here. And we can have it all back again. We can. All we have to do is claim it. Would you marry me again?
Skye: Tell me, does it bother you to see Carly so happy?
Lorenzo: I could ask you the same question about Jax.
Skye: I consider Jax a friend. I can't say the same thing about you and Carly, though, the way things ended.
Lorenzo: Carly and I were never meant to be. Everything's worked out for the best. I have a beautiful daughter who has changed me in ways that I never could imagine.
Skye: What ways?
Emily: Are you all right?
Nikolas: Well, that depends. Carly's decided to marry Jax. Which leaves Sonny free and clear. Does that change anything for you?
Emily: And why would it? I'm exactly where I want to be.
Robin: Well, I guess I should go congratulate Jax on his big mistake.
Patrick: First, you're coming with me.
Robin: I am?
Patrick: And no calculating the odds, no weighing the risks. You're going to put this on the most unlikely number --
Robin: Uh --
Patrick: You think to win.
Robin: I --
Patrick: Come on.
Robin: 16 it is.
Patrick: Red 16.
Robin: All of it?
Patrick: All of it.
Croupier: Red 16.
Robin: Oh, my God, I won!
Patrick: See how different it feels when you take risks?
Robin: Yeah. Feels pretty good.
Jax: Just jeep the champagne flowing, ok?
Tracy: Yes, you make sure it's the most expensive we have in stock. You know what? Your tab is going to be nothing compared to what this marriage is going to cost you. Shh. Enjoy your evening.
Jax: Always nice to see you, too, Tracy. Have another drink. Well --
Carly: Well, I think this night is definitely looking up.
Jax: Well, do you want to press your luck and play some cards?
Carly: That depends on the stakes.
Sonny: Yeah, why don't you -- you go ahead and deal me in if you like.
Jason: There's no way that Ric did this alone. The flash drive's encrypted. He had to have help. Did he meet with anyone yesterday?
Det. Rodriguez: It was Halloween. The station was crawling with people.
Jason: What about Alcazar?
Det. Rodriguez: Ric brought him into his office for questioning.
Jason: Ok, all right. Did they exchange anything?
Det. Rodriguez: Don't move.
Jason: Ok, stay there.
Det. Rodriguez: Don't move. You're both under arrest.
Jason: Stay there, stay there. Stay right there, ok? No one's going to get hurt. Just stay back.
Ric: Getting away.
Jason: Just stay back.
Ric: What are you doing? Shoot him, damn it!
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Ric: Jason Morgan and Sam McCall just escaped. Take them down.
Sonny: You want to make it interesting, Jax?
Jax: What do you want to play for?
Sonny: What are you willing to risk?
Laura: You are the life that I was meant to have.
Luke: And you are mine.
