[Knock on door]
Jax: Hello? I'm unarmed. I come in peace. Carly? Anybody home?
Carly: You're late.
Jax: Ooh. Wow. If I would've known you were wearing that, I would've come a lot sooner.
Jax: Come here.
Carly: You can make up for lost time.
Carly: Yeah. We can't, we can't, we can't, we can't, we can't! Kids are upstairs.
Jax: You know, your lipstick --
Carly: The kids are up--
Michael: Happy Halloween!
Jax: Hey-hey! Happy Halloween!
Michael: When can we go?
Jax: Go where?
Michael: Trick-or-treating. Mom said that you were going to take us.
Jax: She did?
Michael: Yes --
Michael: About an hour ago.
Alexis: Any luck?
Emily: Pediatrics was having a Halloween party.
Alexis: Oh, yes!
Alexis: Yes! Thank you. Thank you. You have no idea how much I wanted these.
Emily: Ok, if anyone asks, it didn't come from me.
Alexis: I promise I won't tell anyone. These are the only things that don't taste like tree bark, and once I start the chemo again, I won't be able to keep them down. Mmm. Mmm!
Alexis: What are your plans tonight?
Emily: You know, it's been a long day, so I think I'm just going to head on home.
Alexis: You should call Nikolas. Spoon Island doesn't have many Halloween trick-or-treaters -- in fact, they don't have any. And what better place to spend Halloween then at Wyndemere? So you can go in and cuddle up with Nikolas in front of a fire, and he can tell you real-life horror stories about his family.
Nikolas: I'm more than capable of scaring up my own date, thank you.
Ric: A flash drive?
Det. Rodriguez: I found it in a box on the raid on the Corinthos/Morgan warehouse.
Ric: What's on it?
Det. Rodriguez: We don't know. It's encoded. The tech guys did a pass on it, but they haven't been able to decipher the data.
Ric: Well, somebody went to a great deal of trouble to hide whatever's on it. It's probably very incriminating.
Det. Rodriguez: I don't get it. I mean, everything we seized was wiped clean. Why wasn't this?
Ric: Ah, they were probably in a hurry. It must've been overlooked.
Jason: Um -- were -- were we -- were we supposed to meet here?
Sam: No. No. I was at work and I needed a break, so I came to get some fresh air.
Jason: A -- a break? PCPD is, like, six or seven blocks away.
Sam: Yeah, I know. But the view is really beautiful and it's worth the walk, so --
Jason: Yeah. On a good night, you can see the whole city.
Sam: Oh. "On a good night" -- I haven't had one of those in a while.
Jason: Maybe it's time you did.
Alexis: Did you come all the way over here to remind me to mind my business?
Nikolas: And to give you this.
Alexis: Oh! I love caramel toffee crunch! Where'd you find this?
Nikolas: Barrows and Sharp in London, of course. I had it shipped in.
Alexis: You are such an amazing man. Isn't he an amazing man?
Emily: No arguments here.
Alexis: Oh. Surely the two of you have something else you'd like to do on Halloween than sit here and watch me eat this?
Emily: I -- Alexis, I'm so sorry. I have to take this. Um -- try not to eat all of that tonight.
Alexis: I can't make any promises.
Emily: I'll see you later.
Nikolas: Yeah. Happy Halloween.
Alexis: "Happy Halloween"? You're a prince. That's the best you can do?
Nikolas: You know, there was a time in your life when you at least made an attempt to be subtle.
Alexis: Subtlety is a luxury that I no longer have. Do you love her?
Nikolas: I always will, yes. You know that.
Alexis: Then what are you waiting for?
Nikolas: Excuse me?
Alexis: Go! Tell her. And hurry up before she gets away.
Nikolas: Why -- why are you suddenly so eager to push Emily and I together? What --
Alexis: Because I want you to be happy, and I know that she makes you happy. She is the one person that can give you the kind of happiness and the kind of life that you deserve.
Nikolas: No, no, no, no, no, it's more than that. You see Emily and I as a backup for Kristina and Molly, don't you?
Jax: I thought Sonny was taking the kids tonight.
Carly: Sonny had a last-minute business meeting.
Jax: What about Leticia?
Carly: She's with her mother. Viola's sick, which means I have to stay here with Molly, and that leaves you.
Michael: Yeah. Do you have a costume? Because if you don't, we're not going to get any candy.
Jax: She doesn't have a costume, either.
Michael: Well, she's having trouble getting into hers.
Carly: Well, I'm going to help you, sweetie. I'll be up in just a minute. You go upstairs, you finish helping Morgan, and get big bags to put the candy in -- the bigger the better!
Jax: Yeah, don't eat any more candy before we go out, please. You can't do this to me -- send me out there with three kids hyped up on sugar.
Carly: As I recall, you were one of the two people that pushed me into moving in here to help take care of Molly and Kristina.
Jax: Because Alexis needed a hand.
Carly: Yeah. Well, I need a hand, and it's going to be a piece of cake because Max has offered to drive you around in the limo.
Jax: Oh, oh, no. No, no. If we're going to do this, we are going to do this the right way.
Carly: Hmm. What's that?
Jax: Ok? Now, you and I are going to take the -- the kids together. You're going to put Molly in a stroller, ok, and then we are going to walk from door to door. Yeah.
Det. Rodriguez: Well, I'll take this back down to O’Brien, see if he can get any dates or names off of it that we can use.
Ric: No, no, no, I want to keep all the evidence together.
Det. Rodriguez: Well, with all due respect, I mean, that flash drive could be the key to busting Corinthos and Morgan. If you want it decoded, then O’Brien needs to get to work on it now.
Ric: Well, look, it's late. I don't want to take the chance that O’Brien misses anything or screws up because he's -- he's tired, all right? Just tell him he can do it first thing in the morning.
Det. Rodriguez: All right, fine. Then I'll -- I'll lock this up --
Ric: No, no, no, no, no. If I'm going to put together a case against Sonny and Jason, it has got to be airtight, Rodriguez. I want you to get the notary back here and relog in and photograph everything that they missed, including that flash drive, and until that happens, this stays here. We can't risk tainting this evidence in any way.
Sam: You never said why you were here.
Jason: I had something to take care of.
Sam: Please don't, Jason.
Sam: "What?" This place -- this is ours, a place where you and I can come and forget about the world and just be together. If you use it for business, it just -- it's going to ruin that.
Jason: No, no, I'm not here for -- I'm not -- nothing about business. I was planning something for us -- for tonight. If you have to work, I --
Sam: No, I'm -- well, yeah, I -- I just need to finish a few things.
Jason: Me, too.
Sam: Could you give me a hint?
Jason: No. No hints.
Jason: No, because I want to make sure that you come back.
Sam: Wow, I -- I wouldn't miss this for the world.
Jason: See you in an hour.
Dillon: I'm -- I'm only staying for an hour.
Georgie: An hour? Dillon, we just got here. Give it a chance.
Dillon: No, I shouldn't be here at all. I have -- I have an Econ paper.
Georgie: Due Friday. Dillon, you can take the night off.
Dillon: No. Not when it's 30% of my grade, I can’t.
Georgie: Come on. What happened to embracing the whole college experience?
Dillon: Georgie, the college experience is more than keg stands and parties, ok? And if I don't pass this, then I'm kicked out of the business program.
Georgie: You say that like it's a bad thing.
[Georgie cocks gun]
Georgie: Hmm. Ok -- ok, fine, fine. One hour. Just please try and have fun.
Singer: Talk to me
[Machine gun sounds]
Singer: And loving me again
Maxie: Oh, my God, I am so sorry. Let me get that for you. Here --
Singer: You lied to me swear the truth be told
Diego: Should you be drinking?
Maxie: What do you care?
Diego: Oh, I -- uh -- I really don’t. I just think Lucky will, right? Beer is bad for the baby. Isn't it, nurse?
Lulu: Excuse me. What is your problem? What? This is my costume, deal with it. Ok, fine. Happy now?
Dillon: Wait -- what are you doing? What are you doing? Lulu?
Lulu: Oh, what does it look like I'm doing?
Dillon: Um -- maybe -- maybe you should slow down.
Lulu: Maybe you should go away. I came here to celebrate.
Singer: You lied to me swear the truth be told nothing you
Alexis: Now that you mention it, you and Emily are the only two sane people in Port Charles that are capable of taking care of my girls. Because if either father gets custody, Ric will not let Molly near Kristina just out of spite, and Sonny's going to allow Carly to turn Kristina into a -- into an empty-headed, boy-crazed cheerleader.
Nikolas: What? Ok, I know that you want Kristina and Molly to stay together. But Emily and I are just not an option.
Alexis: Why not?
Nikolas: Because we're not together. Ok? And you can't rush us into a reunion that neither of us are ready for.
Alexis: Why not? You know that I'm doing this for my own selfish purposes, but you and Emily can provide them with a -- with a life that's filled with love and respect, and you are the two people that I love and respect.
Nikolas: First of all, I refuse to consider that you will not be around to raise Kristina and Molly yourself, ok?
Alexis: I just need to know that my girls are going to be taken care of.
Nikolas: Whatever happens or doesn't happen with Emily, it has to be about us, ok? For all the love we had, we hurt each other badly, and I will -- I will not put our hearts on the line until I -- I am sure that she feels safe with me.
Emily: Ok -- oops --
Jason: Oh, here, let me help -- let me help you.
Jason: I got it.
Emily: I brought everything you could possibly need.
Jason: Oh, thank you so much for doing this.
Jason: I had no idea what to get. I just wanted to make this a night so perfect for Sam. Thank you.
Emily: Wait, you're doing this for Sam?
Jason: Uh -- yeah. Why?
Emily: When you said that you wanted stuff for a special night, I thought that you were planning a Halloween party for Michael and Morgan.
Emily: No. Seriously, this is probably not what you had in mind.
Jason: Uh -- no, not really. This isn't what --
Emily: Ok, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry. All right, I'm going to take care of this.
Jason: Ok, how?
Jason: How are you -- how?
Emily: I -- I don't know. I'll take care of the decorations, you handle the romance. If your heart's in it, then Sam’s going to love everything about tonight. Look, Jase, I know how hard it is when someone you love hurts you. But if you can get past what happened, then there's a whole lot of good waiting for you on the other side.
Det. Rodriguez: I thought you were done for the night.
Sam: No, I've got some work to finish up. But as soon as these are filed, I am out of here.
Det. Rodriguez: Big fan of Halloween?
Sam: Not exactly. No.
Det. Rodriguez: Me, neither. Every freak in the city is going to be dressed up tonight.
Sam: You know, sometimes it's the ones who pass as normal that you got to worry about.
Det. Rodriguez: You got that right. There's no way you're walking out of here with that.
Ric: With what?
Det. Rodriguez: The Phillips file. I need to go over the lab reports before I testify.
Ric: Oh. Here you go. You can take your time. It's -- the case has been postponed.
Det. Rodriguez: Oh.
Ric: Any word from the notary?
Det. Rodriguez: She's on her way over.
Ric: Good. Call me when she gets here, ok? There's something I got to take care of.
Second girl: Yeah!
Second boy: Professor McCloud is showing "Prom Zombies" in History of Cinema.
Dillon: Oh, really? I -- you know, I got to tell you, I think that's my favorite B-movie of all time. It has the best McCarthy undertones of any I've seen in a horror film since.
Boy: We're screening it Thursday night. You should come by.
Dillon: Uh -- I -- I can’t. I'm sorry. I have a -- I have a paper due.
Boy: Well, see you around.
Dillon: Ok. Love the outfit.
Georgie: Admit it, Dillon. You miss the old Dillon as much as I do.
Boy: Yeah, yeah.
Georgie: What are you doing?
Maxie: Georgie, back off. I'm busy!
Georgie: No, she's pregnant. You need to leave.
Maxie: Do you have to tell everyone in the party that?
Georgie: It was one guy!
Maxie: Who I happen to like.
Georgie: Then what's his name?
Maxie: Does that really matter? Ok, I came here to have a good time, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Thank you.
Georgie: Maxie, what are you trying to do? Are you trying to lose this baby?
Dillon: Lulu, you've had enough.
Lulu: Whoa! I am a big girl, Dillon. I can handle a few drinks.
Dillon: You've had more than a few drinks. What the hell is wrong with you?
Lulu: Nothing. Nothing.
Lulu: For the first time in my life, everything is perfect. Hell, I even have my mom back.
Dillon: What --
Dillon: What are you talking about?
Lulu: Yeah, she came back yesterday. But nobody's supposed to know. You're not supposed to know.
Dillon: Lulu, why not?
Lulu: Because my dad's afraid that if she gets upset, she'll freak. So, basically -- um -- he doesn't want anyone to spill the beans that I'm a lying tramp and had an abortion.
Singer: All I want is to bring you
Jax: Trick or treat!
Alexis: I'll take the treat.
Jax: Yes! Here.
Alexis: Hi, hi.
Jax: Actually, I've got some more treats for you. Come on in, guys! Come on, come on, come on, come on!
Michael: Happy Halloween!
Kristina: Happy Halloween.
Jax: Happy Halloween!
Alexis: Hi. Wow!
Kristina: Look, mommy, I'm a cheerleader.
Alexis: What happened to the fairy costume?
Carly: Oh, fairies are overrated.
Alexis: I should be grateful that you didn't bleach her hair blond. All right, come over here.
Jax: We thought that you'd want to be part of the fun, you know?
Alexis: Come here -- I do. And you are me. You're me.
Carly: There you go.
Alexis: Oh -- oh, I love this. I love this.
Carly: Yeah, I had nothing to do with that. I -- I didn't pick that out.
Jax: You guys ready?
Alexis: Let's hold this. Bing.
Jax: Everybody say "candy."
Kristina and Alexis: Candy!
Jax: Yay! Huh.
Morgan: So that's a real camera?
Alexis: It's a real camera. Where you guys going walking?
Jax: Uh -- well, we thought we'd start on Spring Street, and then wind around to Maple, North Yale, and then end up on Shoreline Drive.
Alexis: Oh. Well, that's -- that's very ambitious.
Carly: Yeah, that's what I said.
Jax: Well, candy's a good incentive, you know? Right? We are going to trick-or-treat until we drop!
Michael and Kristina: Yeah!
Jax: Yeah! Ha-ha-ha!
Emily: When Nikolas and I fell apart, all I wanted was something to dull the pain inside of me. So I -- I threw myself into my studies and I threw myself into work and, finally, I turned to Sonny.
Jason: Do you regret it?
Emily: No. What Sonny and I had was -- was real. It just came around at the wrong time. I think something similar happened with you and Elizabeth.
Jason: Yeah, we were just, you know, friends who helped each other out, that's all.
Emily: You know, I understand turning to someone for comfort and consolation. But if we're lucky, we find our way back to the people we were meant to be with. It may take time, but eventually we learn to trust our instincts and our hearts. Then the illusions are gone and we're left with that one person who we can't stop loving.
Ric: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You're leaving kind of early, aren't you?
Sam: My shift's finished.
Ric: Whoa, whoa, wait, I got some more files on my desk that need to go to the courthouse.
Sam: I don't care what you need. I'm off the clock. Do it yourself.
Det. Rodriguez: Do you have the flash drive?
Ric: The what?
Det. Rodriguez: The flash drive from the Corinthos and Morgan raid -- do you have it?
Ric: No, I -- I put it back in the box. Why?
Det. Rodriguez: I checked the box over half a dozen times, it's not in there.
Ric: Maybe O’Brien checked it out of the evidence room.
Det. Rodriguez: It never made it back there. It was gone by the time the notary got here.
Ric: How could you let the strongest piece of evidence that we have against Corinthos and Morgan simply disappear?
Det. Rodriguez: It's not like I misplaced it.
Det. Rodriguez: Someone came in here and took the flash drive out of the box.
Ric: Who? There's nobody around, Rodriguez. Ok, the only person that was seen coming and going --
Det. Rodriguez: Who?
Ric: I don't know -- maybe it's a coincidence, but Sam couldn't get out of here fast enough.
Det. Rodriguez: You really think Sam would steal from the PCPD?
Ric: Well, she's loyal to Jason Morgan, isn't she? And if she heard that we had strong enough evidence to put him away, maybe she stole the flash drive to protect him.
Det. Rodriguez: Then we need to search her place.
Ric: Yeah, you're right. Ok, bring her in. I'll petition Judge Bryant for the warrant. I just hope for her mother's sake that I'm wrong. I have...
Georgie: Maxie, you're -- you're having a baby, Lucky's baby. What would he do if he saw you like this?
Maxie: Lucky doesn't even want to see me. He doesn't care that I'm pregnant.
Georgie: So you're going to punish him by taking it out on an innocent baby by hurting it?
Maxie: Uh -- it's my body. I can do whatever I want.
Georgie: This is not about you anymore. There are other people involved, a living thing involved. Please, stop being selfish and think of someone else for once.
Maxie: You know, that's -- that's funny, because you were all about letting Lulu make her own decisions. So why can't I?
Georgie: Maxie -- listen, I don't want to see you do something that you're going to regret.
Dillon: Lulu -- Lulu, your mom woke up, just like that?
Lulu: Yeah. Robin and Patrick gave her some medicine, and it brought her back. I walked in, and there she was. Hmm.
Dillon: Well, is she ok? I mean --
Lulu: Yeah, she's perfect, except for her memory. She doesn't remember a thing in the past four years, as if they never even happened. But they did, and I had an abortion, and she's going to hate me for it.
Dillon: She's your mom. She can't possibly hate you.
Dillon: I'm sure she'll understand.
Lulu: Well, we can't risk that because any shock could send her back. So, basically, I get to lie and pretend that my life is perfect. Cheers.
Dillon: Lulu, that -- you're not helping.
Lulu: Maybe I want to forget everything for a little while.
Dillon: Lulu --
Georgie: Dillon -- let her go. Just stop.
Dillon: Well, if I let her stay here, she's going to do something stupid, so --
Georgie: Dillon, as hard as you try, you can't save Lulu from Lulu.
Sam: Wow. You did all this?
Jason: A lot of help from Emily. I -- I really didn't mean for it to be so --
Jason: Yeah, festive. Yeah, I guess you could call it that. Emily thought it was a party for Michael and Morgan.
Sam: Well, I have never celebrated Halloween as a kid. If I had, I would -- I would want it exactly like this. This is actually perfect.
Jason: I wanted, you know, to make it like that night you did for me.
Sam: What do you mean, that night we had dinner on the roof, in the rain? That night?
Jason: Yeah. Before I knew you, my life was pretty empty. And I -- I was fine with it. Really, I was fine with it because I didn't know it could be any -- any different -- till you moved in. And you showed me how to live. You --
Singer: Far away
Jason: Changed me, and I'll never forget that.
Singer: He thought he wanted seduction oh, but now we're laughing out loud
Emily: Hey, I can come back if this is a bad time.
Alexis: No. Please, don't let me scare you off twice in one night.
Emily: You didn't scare me off earlier.
Emily: Is there anything I can do?
Alexis: You can remind me that crying is self-indulgent and counterproductive.
Emily: You know, when I had cancer, there wasn't a day I didn't cry, Alexis. I put on a happy face for visitors, but the minute they were gone, I'd break down. I had to release what I was feeling, and so do you.
Alexis: Jax and Carly came by before they went trick-or-treating with -- with the girls.
Emily: Yeah? Can I see?
Emily: Aw. They look adorable.
Alexis: Carly dressed her up like a cheerleader.
Emily: Alexis -- you feel like you're missing out, huh?
Alexis: It was Molly's first Halloween and I wanted to be there. And it's just one of the firsts that I'm going to miss.
Emily: There are going to be so many other firsts for Molly -- her first words, first kiss, first love. Don't focus on the ones you've already missed. You fight, Alexis. You fight to be here for the ones that are still to come.
Alexis: I want you to do me a favor.
Emily: Ok. Anything.
Alexis: Take this to Nikolas --
Alexis: And tell him that I'm not going to need that backup plan after all. He'll know what I mean.
Emily: Ok. I'll take care of it.
Alexis: Do me another favor? Take care of my nephew, because he really needs someone like you in his life.
Emily: And I -- I care about Nikolas, but I don't expect him to let his guard down until he feels safe with me again.
Jax: There, we made it.
Jax: Yeah, well, it's more than I can say for your mom and Morgan and Molly.
Michael: Yeah, well, they're girls. They can't handle it like us men.
Carly: Ok. Molly and Morgan are down. That leaves you. Drop the candy, go put on some P.J.’s.
Carly: Ok? I'll be up in a minute.
Michael: Good night.
Carly: Good night.
Jax: That went well.
Carly: Ah, yes, and they are too tired to argue.
Jax: Mm-hmm. So is this one. She -- she's exhausted, so I'm going to take her upstairs, put her to bed.
Carly: Ok. When you come down, you can tell me what you're up to.
Diego: You like this spot.
Maxie: Hmm -- save your lecture, ok? I don't care what you or anyone else thinks of me, least of all -- Lucky.
Diego: Hmm. I thought you were in love with supercop.
Maxie: Hmm -- well, he -- he doesn't love me and he never will.
Diego: Is that why you're trying to hook up with every freak in this party?
Maxie: Maybe I just don't want to be alone on my birthday.
Diego: What about your family?
Maxie: They don't care about me enough to remember.
Diego: Hmm. Well, I know how that goes. See, I spent most of my birthdays in foster homes, never really having anyone to celebrate with, so --
Maxie: When was your birthday?
Diego: It doesn't matter. It already came and went.
Maxie: Oh. I guess that means I owe you a present.
Diego: What the hell are you doing? Aren't you supposed to hate me?
Maxie: Maybe I don't hate you as much as spending my birthday alone.
Singer: Everybody's waiting on a starry night
Lulu: What the hell are you doing?
Girl: That's my boyfriend. I don't want some drunk slut anywhere near him.
Lulu: She started it.
Boy: Can you blame her? You were all over me.
Lulu: I didn't see you complaining.
Boy: Bad night?
Lulu: Yeah, it keeps getting worse by the minute.
Singer: People, people
Emily: Alfred thought I might find you here.
Nikolas: Oh -- did he call you?
Emily: No, no. I -- uh -- came by on my own. Um -- Alexis wanted me to give you this. Jax and Carly stopped by with the girls on their way to trick-or-treating.
Nikolas: They dressed her up like a cheerleader. Well, I bet that went over really well.
Emily: Yeah. Actually, that -- that photo comes with a message. Alexis wanted me to tell you that she won't be needing backup after all? Do you --
Emily: Do you know what that means?
Nikolas: Huh. Yes. Um -- she's been pushing for us to be together because she wants us to bring up the girls -- if anything should happen to her.
Emily: What did you say?
Nikolas: Well, I just said that whatever happens, it should be about us.
Sam: I have a ton of sushi left. Do you want some?
Jason: No, I'm good with this right here.
Sam: What do you mean, you're good? All you ever eat is ginger chicken.
Jason: When I find something I like, I stick with it.
Sam: Have you ever even had -- wait a minute, you did.
Jason: Yes, I did. Yes.
Sam: You had squid once.
Jason: Yeah. Nasty.
Sam: But you've never actually had this kind of sushi? I think you'd like it. You should try it.
Jason: No, I like my fish cooked, thank you.
Sam: Ok. I'm going to make you a deal. If you try just a little piece of this sushi, then I'll try anything new that you want.
Singer: So here's a little song tonight
Sam: Deal? Come on.
Sam: I cut it in half. You don't even have to eat the whole thing.
Singer: Don't think you're all alone
Jason: Uh-uh. Uh-uh.
Sam: Come on.
Sam: What do you mean, "uh-uh"?
Sam: It's not that bad. It's good.
Jason: That was horrible. Come on.
Singer: What does it take?
Jason: Did it make you happy?
Singer: I'll there
Jason: Then it was worth it.
Singer: By your side angel, I will never let you go
Det. Rodriguez: We found it in Sam’s room at Kelly’s. It was in a dresser underneath some clothes.
Ric: Well, Sam’s looking at theft and evidence tampering, both felony counts. Her mom's not going to like this.
Det. Rodriguez: So what do you want to do about Sam?
Carly: Why did you make us walk all over the town?
Jax: Because that's what people do on Halloween.
Carly: I would've been very happy to sit in the limousine and sip champagne while you took the kids.
Jax: No, that would've defeated the whole purpose, you know, having Max drive us around.
Carly: What was the purpose, exactly?
Jax: Well, I wanted the kids so worn out at they'd fall asleep before their heads hit the pillow. They'll be so exhausted, they'll sleep through anything, which means we can be as loud -- we can be as loud as we want.
Boy: That's one hell of a right cross.
Lulu: It was stupid.
Boy: The fight?
Lulu: Everything -- coming here, hitting on that guy, punching his girlfriend.
Boy: I thought this was Halloween, not your personal pity party.
Lulu: Do me a favor -- say the lectures for the classroom, Professor Marquez.
Singer: To fall apart
Pete: Hmm. Am I that transparent?
Lulu: Who would be pretentious enough to show up to this party dressed as death just to spy on his students?
Pete: I prefer the term "observer of life" -- something there was precious little of at the faculty party.
Lulu: Whatever. You want to slum it with the student body, be my guest. I'm leaving. I have better things to do.
Pete: From where I stand, all you seem to do and do well is make yourself miserable. Why are you so determined to be unhappy?
Diego: Ow, ow! Ah. I thought you were nervous.
Diego: Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait. How do -- uh -- how do I know this is not, like, a setup?
Maxie: What are you talking about?
Diego: Uh -- well, my dad got me out of prison early. So how do I know this is not your way of trying to send me back for what I did to you?
Maxie: Look, I only want one thing, so either shut up and deal with it, or get out of here.
Diego: Hmm -- hold on. Ok, buddy. Huh. Whoa, whoa, what are you doing? We need that.
Maxie: No, no. It's not like I'm going to get pregnant.
Diego: Oh, wait, stop, stop! That's what this is about? Huh? The beer and the sex? You've been lying to Lucky this whole time. You're not really pregnant. You just need to be.
Emily: That call I got at the hospital was from Jason.
Nikolas: Yeah? Is everything all right?
Emily: He wanted me to set up a romantic evening for him and Sam.
Nikolas: They're going to work things out?
Emily: Yeah, well, Jason wants to try, but I -- I think it's going to take a long time before they get past what happened.
Nikolas: Well, you know, time does have a way of healing old wounds, right? I mean, look at us.
Emily: Yeah. We caused each other a lot of pain, but we managed to find a way to a better place.
Nikolas: Mm-hmm. Well, I don't think it's that difficult if the love is still there.
Emily: Oh -- what was that? No, really.
Nikolas: It's -- it's just the wind blowing through the caves down there. It's nothing to be afraid of.
Emily: I always feel safe when I'm with you.
Ric: Well, congratulations, counselor. You successfully blocked my petition for sole custody. Playing on your illness again -- bravo, well done.
Alexis: I'm playing on my strengths. You might well have been advised to do the same thing, Ric. Petitioning the court was an obvious and a sloppy thing to do and it's not going to fare well in family court.
Ric: Oh, what court in the entire land is going to fault a father for wanting to spend more time with his little girl, especially when the mother is so gravely ill and she can't be with her?
Alexis: I didn't fault you for wanting to spend time with your little girl. You made a stupid, stupid assumption, Ric. And any judge worth his salt is going to take exception to a father who sleeps with his child's sister.
Ric: Hmm. I see. Well, regardless of my past indiscretions, I am in a much better bargaining position than you may think.
Jason: What are you thinking about?
Sam: How beautiful the stars look. I will never forgive myself for throwing away the one you gave me.
Jason: It's just a necklace.
Singer: So here's a little song to remind her
Jason: Put that down, ok?
Singer: Here's a little piece of my soul don't think you're all alone here's another dream we will find it what does it take to remind you? I'll be there by your side angel; I will never let you go
Sam: Thank you.
Jason: For what?
Sam: For an amazing night. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Singer: So here's a little song to remind you here's a little piece of my soul don't think you're all alone here's another dream we will find it
Singers: What does it take to remind you?
Det. Rodriguez: Sam McCall, you're under arrest.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Sam: You are framing me.
Ric: Good luck proving it. You are going to be going to prison.
Jason: It's all about Ric trying to get to me. He's trying to punish me for sleeping with you.
Sonny: Ric had Sam arrested. He's banking on Jason to do something crazy.
Jason: What am I supposed to do; how do I help her?
