Luke: Push.

Skye: I'm pushing!

Lorenzo: Come on, push.

[Skye groans]

Lorenzo: You can do it. Push!

Skye: I can't push! You pull.

Luke: What, what, you're just going to stop?

Skye: I'm too tired.

Luke: Oh, no. Come on, it's a little late to change your mind. Now, push.

Skye: Ok.

Luke: Grab my hand and push.

Skye: I'm --

Lorenzo: I can see the head!

Luke: That's it. Come on, call me every name in the book.

Skye: Ooh, you're a liar!

Luke: Ah, you can do better than that.

Skye: You're a jerk!

Luke: There you go! Come on!

Skye: You just -- you don't let anybody get close to you, you just -- you disappear!

Luke: That's right.

Skye: You just -- you hit the road. You won't commit to anybody ever and you'll never change!

Luke: That's right.

Skye: And you -- you, you're -- you're such a bully. You're a pretender. You -- you pretend to be this tragic intellectual, but you're really this common criminal who should be in jail!

Luke: Whoa!

Lorenzo: Yes! Ok, here it comes! Here it comes!

[Skye groans]

Lorenzo: Push!

Luke and Lorenzo: Come on!

[Baby cries]

Lorenzo: She's a little girl.

Skye: Oh --

Lorenzo: She's so beautiful.

Sonny: I'll get that for you.

Elizabeth: I was beginning to think I wouldn't find it.

Sonny: You want to be alone?

Elizabeth: No, no, that's ok. I'm all tied up in knots right now anyway. I wanted so badly to know whether Lucky or Jason is the father of this baby, and now all of a sudden I donít.

Sonny: You can put it off if you want, you know.

Elizabeth: No, I -- I have to know -- so I can figure out what to do next.

Ric: I'm not going to continually take flak for not being the one who's close to you, ok, because the fact of the matter is you don't want anybody close to you. You're going to do everything, you're going to make every excuse in the world to not have me close to you -- you're going to use the girls, you'll use work, you'll even use your cancer. So why don't you just come out and say it, Alexis? You can't stand the sight of me.

Alexis: I canít.

Ric: Right, because I'm not Sonny. Because every time you look at me, you see the one that got away, right, and somehow that's my fault.

Alexis: Every time I look at you, I see you having sex with my daughter.

Ric: I don't know what you heard, Alexis --

Alexis: It's not what I heard, Ric. It's what I saw with my own eyes -- you and my daughter having sex right over there on the floor.

Skye: I can't believe I'm holding my baby. This wasn't supposed to happen.

Lorenzo: No, I think you're wrong. This was very much meant to be. Oh!

Luke: It's ok, little mama. Luke's here. Let's complete the mission.

Emily: Colleen worked for five different families since she became a nanny. Listen to me. Two of the men she worked for died, and the third disappeared without a trace. What can you say about that?

Nikolas: Well, where -- where did you get this information?

Emily: Stan. He's Sonny and Jasonís computer guy.

Nikolas: Oh.

Emily: He's this technological genius. He'd have no reason to lie to me.

Nikolas: I'm not -- I'm not saying that he's lying to you, but he may not know if it's false information planted by Helena for me to find.

Emily: Why -- why would Helena bother?

Nikolas: For the same reason she probably poisoned Alfred or tampered with my saddle -- to isolate me from the people I trust so she can replace them with her own choices. Now, so far, Colleen has refused to be intimidated by Helena. I believe she probably just saved my life. Why would you believe Helena over anyone?

Emily: Because Colleen's story doesn't make sense. Helena wants to manipulate you, not -- not smother you while you're in bed.

Nikolas: Why are you so determined to think the worst of Colleen?

Elizabeth: It's a relief to finally know. It's what I expected.

Sonny: I'm not surprised you're feeling this way. I mean, Lucky's an addict. It's not -- it's hard to tell what kind of father he's going to be.

Elizabeth: He's committed to getting clean.

Sonny: You know, I've known Lucky since he was a kid, and considering what he's been through in his life, it's amazing he's not more screwed up. But what I do know is that at the heart of Lucky, there's a man who knows the value of family.

Elizabeth: Yeah -- when he's not taking drugs.

Sonny: Assuming Lucky stays clean, I -- I think you and your children are better off. And the reason I say that is because Jasonís not ready to have a family. His work is incredibly dangerous, and a baby would just make it worse.

Elizabeth: You're right. It's for the best.

Ric: Sam and I were here together the night of the blackout. I'm sure you remember it was incredibly hot.

Alexis: Is that why you felt compelled to take your clothes off?

Ric: We'd had a really horrible day. We were very upset, very angry at -- at the world.

Alexis: And at me, apparently.

Ric: Yeah, well, you didn't help. Look, Alexis, I admit things got a little intense between me and Sam, but it wasn't --

Alexis: Intense? Intense? Is that how you describe what you did with my daughter? It was sex, Ric. Sex. Why don't you just say it the way it is?

Ric: You know, don't lecture me on honesty, because if you saw anything resembling what you say you did that night, then you -- you've lied about that for how many weeks now?

Alexis: 10.

Ric: Yeah.

Alexis: 10 weeks. It was 10 weeks ago that I saw you having sex with my daughter. It was the night after I was diagnosed with cancer. You tend not to forget those things.

Ric: Right, your diagnosis -- yet another thing that you lied to me about.

Alexis: What?

Ric: The diagnosis -- you remember that? That was something else that you lied to me about?

Alexis: My time's at a premium, Ric, and you are on a very slippery slope. You want to continue down that path --

Ric: You know what? I'm not denying what I did.

Alexis: Admit what you did.

Ric: I admit what I did. Why are you doing this now?

Alexis: Because it is way past time for the truth. You want to hear all the gory details? I just found out I had cancer. It was probably the lowest point in my life. And I wanted to go home, to our home, you know, that home where we raise our children. I was looking for my family. Well, I found them, all right -- doing something so inconceivable, so unthinkable that no matter how hard I try, I can't erase it from my mind. You and my daughter having sex is seared into my brain in all of its intense and disgusting detail. It was hateful. It was unforgivable.

Ric: Ok, that's enough.

Alexis: I just don't know how you could've done -- I just -- I will never understand how you could've done something --

Ric: How could I have done that? Right, of course. How could I have done that? Of course. How could you have done that, Alexis? You've known for how many weeks already, and you said nothing! You know what? I'm an adulterer, fine, but you're a hypocrite.

Alexis: Don't you dare make this my fault.

Ric: Oh, sure. Yeah, why should you have to take any of the blame, right? It's all me. I mean, we're so happy in our marriage, right? That -- why should I ever find comfort with someone else?

Alexis: It was my daughter, you ass!

Ric: Yes, whom you had just insulted and rejected! I know the feeling.

Alexis: Oh, great -- sex as revenge, Ric. What a charming family tradition.

Ric: Ok, that's great, Alexis. Yeah, just -- good. Be glib -- that's exactly what you're good at. What do you expect? You're a cold, distant woman who could only love her children. Why? Because you can control them. You manipulate people, Alexis. And you call it love based on what you think is best for them, never mind what they think.

Alexis: Oh. Yeah. Huh. See, that's an excuse that I never anticipated. I'm the bitch, and you're the victim?

Ric: No, no, no.

Alexis: Oh.

Ric: Of course not. You're -- you're the victim, Alexis, right? You're always the victim. You shut down on me, Alexis! You became dismissive. No matter what I did, good or bad, I became nothing more than a warm body across the room. I became a father to your children. When I saw you with the mayor, I jumped to the obvious conclusion. Because I never thought that you would go to that pompous ass and confide in him, rather than coming to me and tell me that you had cancer!

Alexis: I was struggling with my own mortality, Ric. It never occurred to me that you would use that as an excuse to sleep with my daughter.

Ric: Yes, but you kept pushing me towards Sam, right? You made sure we were together. You kept pulling your strings from your -- your hospital bed. You made sure we went to parties, Alexis. You -- you cried crocodile tears to tell me that it was very important that we stay together as a family. What was that supposed to prove, Alexis? What? Was it supposed to show that maybe we would get back together again, that maybe -- oh, God -- maybe we would sleep together? Well, guess what -- if you were betting on that, you lost. I have never put my hands on Sam ever again.

Alexis: Bully for you.

Ric: Oh --

Alexis: Really -- no, bully for you, Ric, because I'm sure there must be a medal somewhere for a husband who only sleeps with his wife's daughter once --

Ric: Ok --

Alexis: And not twice.

Ric: So it wasn't a test, then? So what was it, Alexis? Was it your revenge?

Alexis: Oh, God, I don't want revenge, Ric. I just want out. It's over, ok? We're done.

Elizabeth: Well, now that I know who the baby's father is, I can go on with my life -- messed up as it is. Huh.

Sonny: Is there anything I can do to help?

Elizabeth: No, that's -- thank you. Jason offered. Actually, he said it -- he said it really didn't matter who the baby's father turned out to be. But, you know, he's got enough on his plate right now.

Sonny: Yeah.

Elizabeth: So it's up to me to bring this child into the world with all the -- all the love and security it deserves. It's all I really want.

Sonny: It's going to work out. You know, you just got to look at that baby, and it's all going to be worth it.

Elizabeth: Yeah. Yeah.

Sonny: You all right?

Elizabeth: Yeah, I'm fine.

Sonny: Ok.

Lulu: Elizabeth? Is there bad news about the baby?

[Knock on door]

Maxie: Oh, I'm sad you're still in here. I feel so alone.

Lucky: I need to be here.

Maxie: Your sister's going around telling everyone that I'm not really pregnant, and I -- I just thought you should know that Dr. Lee ran some tests on me, which you don't do to someone who's not having a baby.

Lucky: Is the baby ok?

Maxie: Yeah, everything's fine. I finally got Mac off my back. Although, he's a little worried about me having a baby after having a heart transplant.

Lucky: What did Dr. Lee say?

Maxie: She feels the same way, but they're going to monitor me closely. I know Macís been in your face a lot lately and he'd be really happy if you left me alone. A lot of people would be happy if you had nothing to do with me -- or our baby but --

Lucky: I just want to do what's best. As soon as I figure out what that is, I'll let you know.

Nikolas: You've been looking at Colleen funny since day one. You know, it feels like this dislike you have for her is based on --

Emily: No, no, no, do -- do not say "jealousy."

Nikolas: I -- I wasn't going to. What I was going to say was "intuition," which I normally trust with you, but I -- I really think you're way off on this one.

Emily: No, it's not intuition to add up all the facts. Look at everything that's happened.

Nikolas: Yeah, exactly. Someone may have tried to kill Alfred, drugged me, cut my saddle, and Colleen mentioned your fall on the -- on the stairs, which, in retrospect, even that seems suspicious. But I don't think Colleen would go to such lengths over a crush when Helena has far more to gain.

Emily: All right, just keep your guard up. People go to extremes to get what they want, and I do think that Colleen wants you.

Nikolas: I -- I just want to speak to her about this --

Emily: No! Don't! If -- if I'm right, you're going to be setting yourself up as a target.

Nikolas: What do you think I'm going to say to her? "Hey, Colleen, you ever done away with one of your employers?" No, I'll be careful. But I don't think you should be there. There's far too much tension between the two of you right now.

Emily: Yeah, I know. I -- I agree. Ok, I'm going to go get Colleen.

Nikolas: Emily, Emily -- thank you for caring enough to do this.

Emily: You know, sometimes you're irresistible -- apparently to Colleen as well as to me.

Nikolas: Bye.

[Emily sighs]

[Phone rings]

Emily: Hello?

Helena: Hello, my dear.

Emily: I have nothing to say to you.

Helena: Well, that's fine. I'll do the talking. I know this won't come as a surprise to you, but Nikolas' life is in danger.

Elizabeth: There's nothing to worry about. Everything's ok.

Lulu: You look wiped.

Elizabeth: I'm just overextended.

Lulu: Well, then stay away from Maxie. She's running around like the skank ho that she is, throwing the pregnancy in everybody's face.

Elizabeth: That's because she's desperate.

Lulu: Well, she should be. Lucky doesn't care about her. He loves you and he wants to work things out with you, and I have to hope that you're still going to give him a second chance.

Elizabeth: I just wish it were that simple.

Lulu: It should be. Love doesn't have to be complicated.

Elizabeth: But it is complicated. And it's difficult and it's unforgiving.

Lulu: Then why is it the one thing that everybody wants?

Elizabeth: Anything worth having doesn't come easily. I'm constantly reminding myself of that. And we all want love because it's pure and it's beautiful and it's healing.

Lulu: Well, then I hope that it heals you and Lucky before it's too late.

Robert: All right, good news, everybody. I've got one of the SUV's up and running.

Luke: Well, it's nice of you to check in with us. As you can see, the baby's birthed and the bad guy's bound. Where were you?

Robert: Hey. What a tough-looking, little broad-shouldered guy he is.

Skye: She's a girl.

Robert: And a real sweetheart, too.

Luke: I'm going to get Skye and the little princess in the SUV, and you're going to drive.

Skye: What about Lorenzo?

Lorenzo: Don't worry about me.

Robert: I'll check to see that the coast is all clear.

Luke: Yeah.

Skye: Are you ok?

Lorenzo: Fine. How's our daughter?

Skye: I think she's hungry.

Luke: Yeah, well, we'll do that later. Let's get out of here.

Robert: Hey, come on. It's the most natural thing in the world.

Luke: Well, of course it is. But if we wait for lunch hour to be over, his men are going to be all over us with guns blazing. Come on, you can -- you can feed her in the car.

Skye: No. Lila Rae and I aren't going anywhere without her father.

Helena: It was wise of you to come alone.

Emily: Considering how many times you've tried to harm me, I'm either foolish or desperate.

Helena: Well, you're safe with me, Emily. Colleen is an evil in my grandson's house. No one is safe there.

Emily: What are you getting at?

Helena: I'm responsible. I got Colleen hired as Spencerís nanny.

Nikolas: Ahem. So I was going over some papers and came across your references he and realized I still have a few questions.

Colleen: You want to know what happened to three of the men I worked for.

Nikolas: So it's true?

Colleen: I'm afraid so. As far as I know, all three are dead.

Ric: You know, I'm not going stand here and try to justify what I did. But I didn't try to hurt you with it. You, on the other hand, decided to use your cancer and the secret to -- to make us all dance to your tune.

Alexis: Hmm. Now, see? Now, there you've gone and uncovered my master plan. What better way to control all the people around me than to give myself cancer?

Ric: You know, do you ever get sick of trying to justify every vindictive move you make? No matter how much people try to get close to you, you just drive them away.

Alexis: You were the one person that I didn't drive away. That's the irony. That's what makes it twice as horrible. Because I forgave you once, and then you went ahead and you did it again with my daughter, of all people.

[Alexis sighs]

Alexis: You don't need anyone to drive you away, Ric. You're perfectly capable of doing that all by yourself with your self-loathing and your obsession with your brother.

Ric: This has nothing to do with Sonny.

Alexis: Everything you do has to do with your brother. It's why you married me in the first place, isn't it? So you could raise his kid and lord it over him. God, and then you call me cold? Whew. When was the last time you ever had an honest emotion?

Ric: I'm feeling plenty of them right now.

Alexis: Everything you say is a lie. And every move that you make is some agenda.

Ric: Really? What was my agenda, Alexis, when I helped you with every crisis? What was my agenda when I stood by your bedside and I begged you to live, over and over again? What was my agenda?

Alexis: Guilt. This lucky little charm that you gave me, the one that you picked out with the same filthy hands that you put all over my daughter --

[Alexis sighs]

Alexis: You know why I really want to live? So that every time you look at me, you will remember what a sick bastard you are. You need to get out.

Ric: Fine. I'm going to get my things. And Molly.

Alexis: Better men than you have tried -- ask your brother.

Ric: You know what? Don't try that trick with me, ok? You want to play games? You want to go into family court; you want to do exactly what you tried to do with Sonny?

Sonny: Is everything all right?

Ric: Oh, look. Hey, you know all those times that you -- you threatened to blackmail me, to tell Alexis that I had slept with Sam? Well, guess what -- she already knew. She saw the two of us together. Now, obviously, it didn't too much to her, because she still continued to manipulate everybody like she always has.

Alexis: You knew?

Ric: Oh, did he know? Everybody knew, Alexis. Sonny knew, Jason knew -- God knows who else knew. I bet you did cartwheels when you found out that Jason almost killed me.

Alexis: Jason was here that night. I didn't want him to see Ric and Sam together, so I had him take me to the hospital. He must've come back.

Ric: And he eventually beat the crap out of me.

Alexis: You deserved it.

Ric: Alexis, do you not see -- do you not see that this sick little game that you had of throwing me and Sam together to see if something would happen, what that was going to do to Kristina and Molly? But I guess that wasn't at the top of the list of the things that you wanted.

Alexis: You are patently absurd.

Ric: And you are pathologically myopic. You want what you want, and the rest of us could rot. You know what? Your selfishness set this entire ball rolling in the first place. Whatever Sam and I did, we may be wrong for it, but

Sonny: Ric, Ric, Ric --

Ric: You share in that responsibility.

Sonny: Ric!

Ric: What?

Sonny: Enough! Don't talk to Alexis that way.

[Knock on door]

Elizabeth: Is this a bad time?

Lucky: No. I just can't believe you're here. I was just writing you.

Elizabeth: Oh.

Lucky: Here

Elizabeth: How are you?

Lucky: I'm the same. Listen, I want to hear about you. What's the world like out there, you know? You're not overdoing it, are you?

Elizabeth: No. No, I'm fine. I had a little meltdown at work today but, you know --

Lucky: I'm sorry. I know I haven't been able to be there for you.

Elizabeth: We've both made mistakes.

Lucky: Maxie came by today.

Elizabeth: Ok, I know I shouldn't have come.

Lucky: There's a reason why I'm telling you this. Maxie says that I don't have to be involved with her baby if I don't want to.

Elizabeth: What? It doesn't sound like her.

Lucky: Do you want me to give up my rights to Maxieís baby?

Helena: Well, I wanted someone I could trust to watch over my great-grandson, someone who would make certain that he was properly cared for.

Emily: So what was in it for you, Helena?

Helena: Well, Colleen was supposed to help Nikolas feel more kindly toward me so that I could be part of Spencerís life.

Emily: And so you could start controlling Nikolas again.

Helena: I supplied Colleen with all of the information that she needed so that Nikolas could make a firm decision that she was the perfect nanny.

Emily: So you knew about her background, about her previous jobs?

Helena: Yes. And the wretch was supposed to be grateful -- and now look.

Emily: So she turned on you like she turned on everyone else she worked for, and now she's in love with Nikolas.

Helena: Yes. And I'm afraid of what she will do when he doesn't return her feelings. She's dangerous, Emily. We've got --

Man: Mrs. Cassadine? Why don't you come along with us?

Helena: Oh, not again.

Man: Make it easier on yourself and come quietly.

Helena: Emily -- Emily, you know what this means. This means that there's not going to be anyone -- anyone to stop Colleen

Emily: No, I'll take care of it. I'm going to call Nikolas; I'm going to straighten this out.

Helena: Don't worry about me. No, make sure that Nikolas understands that that woman will turn on him. He's going to end up just like the others. Emily, please do this for me.

Colleen: I hoped you'd never find this out.

Nikolas: Well, there's certainly no justification for lying to gain employment. I mean, this is critical information that the agency should not have missed. Colleen, two of your former employers died, and one is missing.

Colleen: I know it looks like I had something to do with these horrible tragedies. Three families were left fatherless. Three men that I worked for died too young.

Nikolas: So you're saying that it's just a coincidence? ††You had nothing to do with it?

Colleen: It's a matter of public record. The events are documented.

Nikolas: Why are you just now telling me this?

Colleen: I probably should've been upfront about it, but I real wanted this job, and I was afraid what you'd think. It's obvious -- bad luck follows me around. I'll go pack my bags, but I want you to know that I really loved working for you. And I'll miss Spencer so much. Thank you for the opportunity.

Nikolas: Just wait, wait. Don't go.

Skye: The two of you can go. But Lila Rae and I aren't going anywhere without her father. I hope you don't mind my calling her that -- after my grandmother and my mother.

Lorenzo: That's quite a legacy. I have a feeling that she will live up tot. We'll make sure she does.

Robert: Listen to me, Skye. You begged me to get you away from this slug. You know your child's never going to be safe around him?

Skye: I can't keep running from Lorenzo. It all cost us too much -- too much time with my family, peace of mind. And then I realized that Lorenzo is comfortable with one thing that neither one of you are comfortable with, and that's being a father.

Luke: All this warm, fuzzy stuff aside, we need to get you to a doctor, preferably in Port Charles.

Robert: Come on. We can make a run for it.

Skye: I'm tried of running. It solves nothing.

Luke: Ok, we've all heard all this before. Let's go!

Skye: Well, somebody has to untie my baby's father.

Robert: Don't do it.

Luke: There's no way I'm going to do it.

Robert: But on second thought --

Ric: You must be loving this -- the father of your favorite child runs to your defense. It's just a shame that you had to get cancer before Sonny would stop treating you like dirt, right? But what do you care, as long as he can flex his muscles, especially at my expense? You're jumping up and down -- that's pathetic.

Sonny: Get out! I'm serious, Ric.

Alexis: I really did believe that you loved me. I feel so pathetic that I thought we could be a family. I --

Ric: I'm going to have my family. Molly is my daughter and she is going to be coming with me.

Alexis: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Sonny: Ric, Ric -- leave now, Ric, or I swear to you, they will not find a hair from your head.

Ric: You know what? You don't want to believe it but I did love you.

[Alexis sighs]

Alexis: You can stop lying, Ric. There really isn't any point anymore. Just get out. Just get out.

Sonny: Hey -- don't worry about it. Hey, it's ok. It's all right.

Lulu: Georgie, we need to talk. Um -- could you call --

Maxie: Oops.

Lulu: What are you doing?

Maxie: Oh, I'm not the problem, you are -- for thinking you were going to drag my sister into your little conspiracy theory that I'm not really pregnant. But I have the lab report to prove it.

Lulu: Why do you think that I care?

Maxie: Because I'm getting everything that I want -- the guy, the baby, the love -- and there is not a damn thing you can do to stop it.

Lulu: If Lucky hadn't been high on drugs, he wouldn't have touched your skanky butt, and he certainly wouldn't have chosen you to be the mother of his baby -- which you're already using as a weapon. It's all really sad.

Maxie: Save your pity.

Lulu: I don't pity you. I'm just really sorry, because in all this talk about you being pregnant and what you want and what you need, I haven't heard one word about this baby that you're bringing into the world and what kind of mother you're going to be.

Maxie: Look at you -- so proud of yourself for aborting your baby that you're criticizing me for letting mine live.

Lulu: You know, Maxie, you could have a dozen kids, and I would feel sorry for them all because you're just trash.

Maxie: How dare you.

Lulu: What did Lucky say when you ran to him with this news, huh? Did he jump up and down for joy? Did he tell you he was madly in love with you and couldn't wait to raise this kid when he kicked the drugs? No. I didn't think so. Big surprise. You know what? I take it back -- I do pity you, because you're just pathetic.

Elizabeth: Being a parent is a gift, and it's a huge responsibility. But it's also an honor to love and protect a little life. And I don't think anyone has the right to tell a parent to walk away from their child.

Lucky: I just don't know what to do to get you to trust me again.

Elizabeth: Well, there's no easy answer for that. But you can't pretend like Maxieís baby has nothing to do with you. Because every child deserves to know their father.

Lucky: Well, then that means our baby, too.

Elizabeth: I just pray that this baby grows up loving and being loved by its father.

Lucky: Thank you.

Colleen: Thank you for your kindness and your understanding. I knew you were a decent man.

Nikolas: I try to be fair.

Colleen: You won't regret it. Spencer will always be my top priority. I'll make sure your grandmother never comes near him.

Emily: Already taken care of. When did you arrange for Helena to be committed?

Nikolas: Uh -- I signed the papers a few days ago. I was just waiting for her to slip up, and thanks to Colleen, she did just that. How did you find that out?

Emily: I'd like to speak to Nikolas privately.

Colleen: Of course. Um -- I'm sorry about the upset. T Nikolas and I have talked about my former jobs, and he's been very gracious about all of it.

Emily: What? You can't be serious.

Nikolas: It all makes sense once you understand.

Emily: Colleen is dangerous.

Nikolas: And how do you know this?

Emily: I saw Helena on the docks.

Nikolas: Ah.

Emily: She told me everything, including the fact that she's positive that you're going to end up like every other man Colleen has worked for.

Nikolas: Emily, Helena is a liar and you know that.

Emily: I have never seen her this worried for you.

Nikolas: And I've never seen you this gullible.

Emily: Me?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: You're the one willing to believe everything that your nanny says despite the fact that there's been one terrible incident after another.

Nikolas: Helena tried to kill you; Colleen did not. Colleen is loyal and protective of Spencer. Until she shows me that she's untrustworthy, I have no reason to fire her. Otherwise, I'd be playing right into Helenaís hands.

Lorenzo: Helicopter is waiting. It'll take us to my jet. We'll be back in Port Charles for breakfast. You two will be dropped off at the commercial airport. I think there's a couple of flights daily.

Luke: Uh -- you know, we've already seen those in-flight movies. I don't suppose you'd consider taking us with you? You're a cold-blooded man, Alcazar.

Lorenzo: You're lucky I don't hit you over the head and leave you tied to a chair -- it's what you deserve.

Skye: Lorenzo, please donít. I told you it was my fault. Just so you know, Lorenzo and I aren't anywhere near reconciliation. I just think it's right that Lila Rae have both her parents nearby.

Lorenzo: Yeah, she needs me, huh? She knows that daddy's going to give her and her mommy the world.

Skye: I don't need the world, Lorenzo.

Lorenzo: Vamos.

Robert: I can't believe she's buying Alcazar's line of bull.

Luke: Maybe it's not a line. Maybe he's telling the truth. There are women out there -- few and far between -- that a man could bag the world for.

Sonny: How come you didn't say anything?

Alexis: Because I could die.

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: And I decided that I could ignore what Ric and Sam did in an effort to keep my family intact, to keep the girls together, because sisters should be together. And now look what I've done. Now I've run out of options for them.

Sonny: Not really -- you can still choose to live.

Alexis: You know, your peculiar version of positive thinking is getting on my nerves.

Sonny: No, I'm just saying that, you know, dying with dignity -- or whatever you call it -- it doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

Alexis: Why are you here?

Sonny: I'll tell you. Because this nullifies the charges against Jason for attacking Ric, and I know you're -- you're still the DA of record, so all you got to do is sign right here, under the judge.

Alexis: And I thought it was because you liked me. ††So how do I forgive a daughter who sleeps with her mother's husband?

Elizabeth: Jason, it's me. I'd much rather do this in person so I can see your face, but I guess this will have to do. I got the paternity test results back today, and I just wanted you to know --

Ric: Elizabeth?

Elizabeth: Call me back.

Ric: You ok?

Elizabeth: I thought you already checked out of the hospital.

Ric: I just had to pick up a prescription, so --

Elizabeth: Oh. Ok.

Ric: Listen, I -- I just thought I'd let you know Alexis and I are splitting up. Our -- our marriage is over.

Elizabeth: Oh, Ric. I'm sorry. I know how stressful an illness can be on a relationship.

Ric: Yeah, I bet you do. Ironic, isn't it? We're having marital problems at exactly the same time in our lives.

Elizabeth: Um -- thank you for giving Lucky's job back.

Ric: Oh, he told you, huh?

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Ric: Well, I thought it was good motivation for him to stay on track.

Elizabeth: But I'd have thought that Alexis trying to beat the cancer, that she might use the same sort of encouragement --

Ric: No, it's not -- it's not the same. It's not the same. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It's just -- Alexis and I loved each other the best that we could. It just clearly wasn't enough.

Elizabeth: Ric, I'm really sorry.

Ric: Sometimes we can't get over wanting what we'll never have.

>> In 2 days, Genie Frances returns as Laura Spencer on "General Hospital."

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Luke: When can we start Laura on the treatment?

Carly: Here you are, working as usual. I guess that means Lucky's the father, huh?

Maxie: We need to make some plans for our baby.

Alexis: No matter how drunk she was, I doubt that she forgot Ric was my husband.

Kristina: Surprise!
