Sonny: He's sworn to secrecy.

Michael: You can tell me. Come on, what type of present did Jax buy mom?

Sonny: Jax -- bought mom a ring.

Michael: What kind of ring?

Sonny: I'm pretty sure it's an engagement ring.

[Music plays]

Carly: I am so honored and touched and grateful. It means so much to me that you'd ask me to be your wife.

Jax: Yeah, but, is that a yes?

Carly: No.

Jax: No? I mean, "no" as in -- as in "not now, I have to think about it" or "no" as in "not ever"?

Carly: Why do you want to marry me?

Kelly: I'll call you in a few days when I have the results of the paternity test. Until then, try to relax. Stress isn't good for the baby, or you.

Elizabeth: Huh. Well, I'm not going to make any promises because you know how good I am at waiting.

Kelly: Hmm. Have you decided what you're going to do?

Elizabeth: Even if this baby is Lucky's, I'm still going to divorce him, because I can't raise my children around an addict.

Kelly: And if Lucky's not the father?

Elizabeth: I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do if Jason turns out to be the father of my baby.

Lulu: Do you even care what you're doing to Lucky?

Sam: Remember how pretty this room was? Remember how pretty we made it when we thought it was going to be a nursery? And then you packed it up after my baby died. You know, Jason, I always thought that this was going to be a nursery, and you were the one who wanted to wait. You always had a reason why it was the wrong time. How could you do it? Jason, how could you deny me a child and give one to Elizabeth?

Michael: Mom can't marry Jax. She has to marry you again.

Sonny: Ok, Morgan, buddy. I want you to go upstairs and go with Leticia, ok, because I'll -- I'll be up there before I leave. I promise. Go, go, go.

Morgan: Ok.

Leticia: Come on, sweetie.

Sonny: You can take your toy. Let's go.

Morgan: All the toys --

Sonny: Listen to me, listen to me. Hey, hey, buddy, listen to me. I'm very proud of you. You did good by telling me about that ring. Give me a kiss. Go ahead.

Michael: Morgan's too little to know what an engagement ring means.

Sonny: And you're too little to be running your mom's life. If she -- you know, if Jax makes her happy, that's her decision, not yours. Jax isn't the worst person in the world. I mean, you even told me that you and Morgan like him -- not a lot probably, but you know, he -- he did take you to Disney World, right?

Michael: Yeah. He tells cool jokes and he does buy some cool stuff, but we only have one dad. That's you.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah. And your mom's not trying to find another father for you. She knows we're a team, and if Jax tries to take my place, he's got something coming. So I just want you to -- I just want you to stay out of it, all right? And this is between your mom, me, and Jax. We'll figure it out.

Michael: Does that mean you're going to fight Jax for mom?

[Music plays]

Jax: Why wouldn't I want to marry you? I love you.

Carly: Those words are easy to say.

Jax: Well, maybe for you. I tend to choke on them. I -- I thought this was what you wanted.

Carly: What do you want? It's not a complicated question.

Jax: Well, just -- I want to give you the right answer. It's --

Carly: The truth would be the right answer.

Jax: Why do I get the feeling that you don't believe me that I love you?

Carly: Oh, look at us. Look at our track records -- combined, we're a disaster. You've been married three times.

Jax: Well -- five, actually.

Carly: Yeah, if you count the times that don't really count -- Miranda, Skye, Courtney, then the invalid one to Brenda and the one to Alexis just for show, and I've been married three times.

Jax: Well, five, actually.

Carly: A.J., Lorenzo, and then there's Sonny, of course.

Jax: Sonny three times.

Carly: But who's counting?

Jax: Oh, apparently, you are. Look, do you think that any of that has -- has something to do with -- with why I love you and why I want you to be my wife?

Carly: I can't forget the past, ok, and I can't pretend that it -- that it doesn't hurt me and that I'm not burned by it.

Jax: Look, mistakes made, the lessons learned have only made me more certain about what we have together.

Carly: Ok. You love me and you know that I love you, but why risk it by getting married?

Jax: I don't think we're risk-- we're not risking anything. It'll be great. It's really good for the family. Plus, I know you, Carly. I know how, you know, you're not the most secure person in the world.

Carly: Well, I'm a lot better than I used to be.

Jax: Well, we don't have a legally binding commitment. When I go out of town for a business trip, aren't you going to wonder if I'm ever going to come back?

Carly: I'm not the only insecure one in this pairing, you know.

Jax: Ok, fair enough. I also don't want to feel like I'm on the verge of losing you every time we have a fight or we disagree on something. Look, I want to make you the most happy, secure person in the world, ok? What is wrong with that?

Carly: You're such a romantic, you know?

Jax: Well, don't hold that against me.

Carly: No, I donít. It's one of the things I love about you, but before I can answer the question of this engagement, I need to figure out which is the romance and which is reality.

Jax: Ok.

Carly: Look at this. You could've taken me anywhere in the world --

Jax: Oh.

Carly: The most romantic cities, exotic islands, the finest restaurants, but instead, the night that you ask me to be your wife, you come here and do this.

Jax: Disappointed?

Carly: No. No, it's wonderful and it's beautiful and it's amazing, but -- why?

Jax: You want to know why?

Carly: Yes.

Jax: Because of all the fancy places that we've been to and that I could've taken you to, they don't mean as much as this place. These docks and this lake and that skyline -- they're home. And that's what you are to me.

Elizabeth: What is it exactly you think I'm doing to Lucky?

Lulu: Oh. Look, in his entire life, Lucky has never needed anyone as much as he needs you and you've decided to abandon him. And while that's the last time that I'm going to get on you about it, I just -- I think you should know that he looks good and he is working hard and he's going to therapy and he's committed. And when I asked him what I could do to help, he said to try and get along with you, so here I am.

Elizabeth: Well, I'm glad you love your brother so much.

Lulu: And that's really the point, don't you think? When you love someone so much, you'll do anything you can to help them, and he admits that he's the reason why your marriage is messed up and he figures he deserves the hell that he's going through and he hates that I'm defending him and fighting his battles, but that's why I'm here -- because I love my brother enough to do what he needs me to do.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but, Lulu, you're allowed to be upset or angry or disappointed. Those are honest emotions.

Lulu: Yeah, ok. You want -- you want me to be honest? I honestly wish that you and Lucky would work this out because I don't know if he's going to make it without you and Cam and the baby.

Jason: I never planned to give Elizabeth a baby. It was one night and we used protection.

Sam: One night? Jason, one night after you saw me having sex with Ric? So you turned to Elizabeth and now she's pregnant with your baby.

Jason: We don't -- we don't know anything. We don't know if I'm the father yet.

Sam: No, we don't know, but if the baby's yours, you're going to raise it -- with her, not me.

[Music plays]

Jax: You know, some people say that I spent my entire adult life as an adolescent. You know, it comes with the disadvantage of having so much money, you can buy pretty much every symbol of love that exists. Not that it did me much good. Because I -- I failed time and time again. But I have been in love. It just never lasted. I think that's probably, you know, partly my fault.

Carly: It takes two to make a marriage. It takes two to destroy it.

Jax: Right. And there are those couples who really know how to fight. The ones that are, you know -- they're well matched enough to even hold on through the rocky periods, like my parents. That's the kind of marriage that they had. And I really believe that we also have the depth and the strength to hold on. You know, for the first time in my life, I really feel like I can trust someone. I trust you, Carly.

Carly: You do?

Jax: Completely.

Carly: That's crazy. You shouldn't trust me, you know, ever.

Sonny: I can't tell you what you want to hear, Michael. I mean, you know, it's not up to -- up to me who mom marries, and especially not up to you.

Michael: But, dad --

Sonny: Well, listen. Whatever happens, we're going to be solid.

Michael: Aren't you going to be a little bit sad if mom marries somebody else?

Sonny: As long as it's you, me, and Morgan, we all love each other -- we're together -- that's all that matters to me. What's that?

Michael: What?

Sonny: Oh. White van across the street?

Michael: Oh, that's just the cable guy. He was here last week, too.

Sonny: How would you know? You were -- you were at my house.

Michael: Well, I saw him and asked him how the repairs were going, and he said that he was working on the neighbor's house.

Sonny: For over a week? I don't think so.

Ric: I want you to keep surveillance on Carly's home, Sonny's compound, and Jasonís penthouse. I want a written transcript of everything that's said, no matter how insignificant. Sooner or later, somebody's going to say something incriminating.

Det. Rodriguez: We've been playing that game for years. We've never made anything stick.

Ric: Yeah, well, game's changed. They're more vulnerable.

Det. Rodriguez: I hope you're right.

Alexis: Hi. How are you, Cruz?

Det. Rodriguez: Hi.

Alexis: Listen, thank you for sending that get-well card. It was really nice.

Det. Rodriguez: I'm glad to see you up and around.

Alexis: Yeah. Take care.

Ric: Yeah. Uh -- so am I glad to see you up and around. What are you doing here?

Alexis: I was just about to ask you the same thing.

Ric: Well, you looked like you were going to sleep through the night, so I thought I'd come get some work done at the office. Do you feel all right?

Alexis: Yes, I do, amazingly. I'm a little restless, that's all. So I woke up and you weren't there, and I thought maybe I could try a short visit and see how that worked, and so far, so good.

Ric: Good. Glad to hear it.

Alexis: You know, I don't know if this chemo thing is going to be so bad after all.

Elizabeth: I understand exactly how you feel. Lucky's addiction has been a nightmare for all of us. But this baby can't be his reason for getting sober.

Lulu: Why? What does it matter what his reason is, as long as he's getting better?

Elizabeth: Because you can't get sober for somebody else. You have to do it because you want to. And the people who love him the most -- especially you and me -- we cannot save him. Ok, we cannot beg him or threaten him or blackmail him into getting clean. It just doesn't work like that.

Lulu: But -- but you -- you love him, though? You -- you just said --

Elizabeth: Of course. Yes, I love him.

Lulu: Well, you -- you've just been so mad about the drugs and Maxie, I just -- I assumed that you were punishing him.

Elizabeth: I am far from perfect, ok? I just cannot live with him anymore. Come on, you know, I still have Cameron; I have this new baby coming. If I spend all my energy on Lucky and my marriage, I will have nothing left to give my children.

Lulu: But Lucky wants to be a good father.

Elizabeth: And he will remain a part of this baby's life as long as he stays sober.

Lulu: Well, I guess that's -- that's something.

Elizabeth: Ok. Thank you for listening to me. You know I love you like my own sister, and I always will no matter what happens with Lucky. Ok?

Lulu: Ok, I love you, too.

Elizabeth: Ok.

Lulu: Bye.

Elizabeth: Bye. Hi.

Kelly: Hey.

Elizabeth: Did you need me?

Kelly: Before I can release the paternity results, I need a signed release from Jason. Will that be a problem?

Elizabeth: No, that -- that should be easy. Actually, the only thing that'll make this easy is if this baby turns out to be Luckyís.

Jason: Sam, I don't know what I'm going to do if I'm the father of Elizabethís baby. I've never -- never been in this situation.

Sam: That's not exactly true, Jason. Courtney was pregnant, remember?

Jason: Yeah, but Courtney didn't tell me -- I mean, I guess the closest I've ever come, you know, was with Michael. In that first year, I was all -- I was all he had. But I knew Carly would be back and she came back, and now I'm Michaelís uncle and Morganís uncle. This -- this is different.

Sam: What about my little girl?

Jason: I made the choice to help you raise your baby; you made the choice to let me. The situation is different, Sam.

Sam: Really? Ok, well, here's what I don't understand. You pushed me away for months because you said your life was too dangerous, that no one should be able to live or have to live the kind of danger that you live, especially someone you love. And now -- uh -- suddenly, it's ok for Elizabeth --

Jason: It's not.

Sam: And her baby?

Jason: It's not, it's not ok. I don't get to tell what -- what Elizabeth and her baby and her children can do, what's ok for them. I don't get to tell you what's ok. I'm sorry. Ok? I told you I was wrong for pushing you away. It should've been your choice.

Sam: Now it's Elizabethís choice. I mean, how nice for her, right? She gets pregnant with -- she gets pregnant after you've had your revelation.

Jason: Whether the baby's mine or Lucky's, she wants to raise it alone.

Sam: But if the baby is yours, wouldn't -- wouldn't you want to raise it with Elizabeth?

[Sam sighs]

Sam: Of course you would. Stupid question. In fact, if I know you at all, I would guess you already asked her to marry you.

Alexis: I was thinking that maybe I could come back to work on a part-time basis just to lighten your load a little or make things a little easier for you, supervise a bit.

Ric: You really think that's a wise decision so early?

Alexis: Feeling threatened? If I did the marathon, would you still tell me that I -- I didn't have enough energy to come back to work?

Ric: Sweetheart, if you ran a marathon, I'd be overjoyed. Look, I'm glad that you're feeling better than you expected. And if Dr. Trent says that you can and you're strong enough to do so, I see no reason why you can't come back to work part-time.

Alexis: I just want to feel useful again. I want to think about something other than me and this cancer, and if this is as bad as the chemo is going to get, I can do this.

Ric: Mm-hmm.

Alexis: I can. I know it's early. I'm just saying --

Ric: Yeah, I know you, though, Alexis. I know you, and if you feel weak -- and I risk my life using that particular word with you -- you're going to push yourself beyond your limits. So, I welcome you back with open arms. Ok? But the minute you don't feel up to any of this -- when I say "enough," you go back home, all right?

Alexis: Oh. So I see I'm going to be working for you, huh?

Sonny: Back them off, Ric.

Ric: I beg your pardon?

Sonny: He put a surveillance team outside of Carlyís house, where she lives with my children. I don't want my family subjected to that. So you pull that van out, or I'll figure out a way to get rid of it.

[Music plays]

Carly: I don't deserve your trust. You know I have a really bad reputation.

Jax: Yeah, I know that. What?

Carly: Look, I've done some horrible things in my life. I've been manipulative, self-centered. Some people say that I lie to get what I want.

Jax: Really?

Carly: People say I'm a user and I'm fickle.

Jax: Do I strike you as the kind of guy who cares what other people think? Are you fickle, though?

Carly: No!

Jax: Really?

Carly: No, I'm not fickle. When I love, I love all the way and listen, that is something that you need to know. Ok? You need to know that. I mean, look at Jason. Jason walked into a bar thinking he was going to play a game of pool and have a beer, and he has me in his face for the rest of his life. And then there's Sonny. I mean, Sonny and I are always going to be a part of each other's lives. We're always going to love each other in the really weird, weird way that we have.

Jax: Does that mean when you tell me that you love me, that you're going to be weird in my face for the rest of my life?

Carly: I'm afraid so.

Jax: Good, good, because I'm counting on that.

Carly: Ok, what about all my other faults?

Jax: You've been nothing but honest with me right from the start. I've never seen anyone fight for us as fiercely as you have fought for us to be together. So why wouldn't I want to be with you? I know who you were, I know you are. And as for me, I am done. I'm done being a playboy. I want something that's real. I want that with you. And I want to be the man that you can count on. The truth is I will have a life with you however I can have it, ok, marriage or no marriage. But I will ask you again. Will you be my wife?

Carly: I would love to be your wife. †Now you can put this on my finger.

Jax: Ok.

Jason: You're right. I told Elizabeth I'd marry her.

Sam: Wow.

Jason: You know, I was honest. I said my life wasn't safe, but I'd do all I could to keep her and Cameron and the baby safe -- if the baby's mine.

Sam: Wow. Well, I suppose I -- I couldn't love you if you were willing to walk away from a child you made.

[Sam sighs]

Sam: Wow. When is she moving in?

Jason: She isnít.

Sam: Why?

Jason: Elizabeth said it would be a mistake to get married when we both love other people.

Sam: Do you, Jason? Do you -- love me?

Ric: I'm the district attorney. I don't have to defend my actions against somebody like you.

Sonny: Well, tell that to my lawyers, Ric.

Ric: Oh, really? Is that before or after they defend you against destruction of property and threatening a public official?

Sonny: How far are you reaching? You going to bug my kitchen? You want to know how I make my marinara sauce?

Ric: No. I heard it's not that good.

Sonny: If you're tapping Carlyís phones, or you illegally searched my boys' room, I'm telling you --

Ric: You pay attention to your business; I'll pay attention to mine.

Sonny: Why you doing it, Ric?

Ric: What, are you serious?

Sonny: Yeah.

Ric: What, you expect me to kiss your feet the rest of my life? Is that it?

Sonny: No, I already told you, you don't want to be my enemy.

Ric: No.

Sonny: Why don't you take out one of your files and figure out what has happened to all the people who have messed with me.

Alexis: Oh, please tell me that you aren't threatening an officer of the court, who happens to be my husband, who happens to be the stepfather of your daughter.

Sonny: Alexis, what are you doing here in your condition? I feel bad about what's going on with you, and I'm trying to peacefully coexist for Kristinaís sake. But if -- you know, if he abuses the position you handed him and makes trouble for my family, all bets are off.

Ric: Ok, you know what? Get out of my office now.

Sonny: No, I'm not getting out of your office. Listen to me. You got a lot of secrets -- you know what I'm talking about? -- That will be dragged out into the light if you push me too far. So you just back off. You understand?

Jason: I've never stopped loving you. I just want things to go back to how they were.

Sam: I know. Jason, I know. I know you wish that we could have our lives back the way that they used to be. I know that you wish you had never seen me with Ric that night. And you probably wish that you had never found comfort with Elizabeth that night, but you did. You know, life would be so much simpler if none of this had ever happened, but it did, and that's not the way you work because you are a realist. You don't believe in denial.

[Sam sighs]

Sam: I know that you would probably be saying all these things out loud, but you want to spare my feelings. Jason, you can't, ok, because I am watching Elizabeth get everything that I have ever wanted. She's pregnant, probably with your baby, and I am already a memory. †Oh. Sorry.

Jax: Oh, well. That should hold me for about a minute.

Carly: Promise me you're always going to make me laugh.

Jax: I promise.

Carly: And that you won't look better than me at the wedding.

Jax: Now you're being difficult.

Carly: Hey. What's going on?

Michael: You guys getting married?

Jax: What if we were?

Michael: Then me and Morgan are packing up -- to move back to dadís.

Morgan: Yes, because we have to leave --

Carly: Ok, wait -- hold on, hold on. Michael --

[Morgan babbles]

Carly: No, listen to me. Jax and I are getting married, and we're really happy about that, ok? No one's moving anywhere unless it's in with each other like a family.

Michael: Look, it's nothing personal, but you're -- you're messing up my family.

Jax: You know, Michael, it wasn't that long ago you were giving me advice about how to win your mother back.

Michael: I'm probably going to regret that.

Jax: Even if we're really happy?

Michael: But marriage -- that's a whole other thing.

Jax: Right, it's huge, and that's why we're not taking it lightly. Look, I want to make your mother happy. I certainly don't want to get in the middle of you and your dad, and I don't want to be your dad. And your mom and I will probably have -- well, we -- we might have a baby of our own someday. It'd be great for any family, don't you think?

Carly: So what do you say? Are you going to give Jax a fair shake? What about you, Morgan?

Jax: Morgan, want to give me a high-five?

Morgan: Ok.

Jax: Yo.

[Carly laughs]

Jax: All right.

Michael: Traitor.

Morgan: Bye-bye.

Carly: Hey -- you know that I love you more than anything. I would never do anything that would be bad for you or your brother. Jax is going to be good for us. I'm going to give you some time to adjust to that, but you know what? You're going to be happy, Michael. I promise.

[Knock on door]

Elizabeth: Hi. I just came from having the paternity test done, and Dr. Lee has your D.N.A. sample, but she can't process test results without your signature.

Jason: Yeah, whatever you need.

Elizabeth: Ok.

Jason: You ok?

Elizabeth: Yeah. I'm just a little nervous about the test. And I'm angry. I'm really -- I'm furious.

Jason: At who?

Elizabeth: Lucky got Maxie pregnant.

Sam: I hope you don't mind.

Sonny: What's wrong?

Sam: Ok, if our baby hadn't died, would you have let Jason raise her?

Sonny: You don't beat around the bush, do you?

Sam: Just answer, please. I -- I have to know. Could you have just walked away and let another man raise our baby, best friend or not?

Sonny: You heard?

Sam: That Jason may be the father of Elizabethís baby?

Sonny: Maybe. Do not jump to conclusions, Sam.

Sam: Come on, I know it's not definite. I know I'm not supposed to care, and I know it shouldn't matter to me because we're not together anymore, but you know what? It does.

Sonny: Jason cares about you, right? Right?

Sam: I don't think Jason can ever get past this because everything changed that night. And you know what? I don't know if I can get past it, either.

Ric: Yeah, we can file it before the weekend. We have plenty of time. Ok, thanks. Listen, about what Sonny said --

Alexis: Ok, what happened here is on a need-to-know basis. There's no need to tell me unless you feel, of course, that you have to tell me. But I really don't want to know what Sonny thinks that he has on you.

Ric: Ok, that's easy enough.

Alexis: What's not so easy is -- is you agreeing to do whatever he asks.

Ric: You mean you want me to back down? Why? Because of Kristina?

Alexis: Because I'm sick, and if you ask Dr. Trent, he'll tell you it's not good for my recovery if one father of one daughter is trying to destroy the father of the other daughter.

Ric: Ok, so basically, you want me to just roll over and lie down?

Alexis: Yes, I do. Because I -- I can't handle the stress of the two of you going at each other's throats. God forbid I get worse, I don't want Sonny to have a reason to take Kristina away from you and Molly, and right now he's being agreeable, so I need you to be agreeable, too -- not for him. You do it for me, ok?

Ric: Ok, fine, fine. For you.

Alexis: Ok. I'm telling you this is going to make everything better.

Ric: Yes. Remember that little discussion we had about when it's time to leave?

Alexis: I'm going.

Ric: It's time.

Alexis: Ok.

Ric: Ok?

Alexis: Are you going to be there? I'll see you later.

Ric: Yeah, Rodriguez? I want to talk to you about the Corinthos surveillance.

Det. Rodriguez: Yeah, I was just about to call you. You won't believe this. We just got a solid signal out of Jason Morganís penthouse.

Ric: It's coming through now?

Det. Rodriguez: Loud and clear.

Ric: All right. Patch it through to my office. I want to hear whatever evidence we have on Jason Morgan that'll indict him -- and my loving brother.

Carly: One full hour of romantic bliss before we're hit with a dose of reality.

Jax: Meaning?

Carly: Oh, my gosh. You think I'm tough? Michael is twice as stubborn as I am.

Jax: Yeah, but look at how I won you over, you know? We'll be fine.

Carly: This is a reality check -- I come with a family, I'm a package deal.

Jax: Oh, don't I know it. A lovely package, too.

Carly: Although it's true Michael and Morgan have their own father, you're going to be a stepdad.

Jax: Right, which lets me off the hook.

Carly: No, not at all.

Jax: Sure.

Carly: Starting tomorrow, we have to come up with some rules.

Jax: I don't -- I don't like rules --

Carly: I know, I don't like rules, either. But Michael and Morgan can't just be your buddy. They canít. They're boys, they need to be raised, and they spend half the time in this house. Consistency, discipline.

Jax: Discipline?

Carly: Yes!

Jax: All right.

Carly: Consider it practice for when we have our own.

Jax: Oh.

Carly: Morgan may need to be put to bed. Michael needs help with homework. I'm going to need your help.

Jax: This is just a little outside the realm of -- I just have no clue what I'm doing. I mean, really.

Carly: I have faith in you. I do.

Jax: Ok.

Carly: Morgan already thinks you're pretty cool. But he is required to follow his brother's lead.

Jax: Yes, he's 4.

Carly: Yes, he's 4. Michael is going to be the challenge of your life.

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: But I do believe that someday he's going to love you as much as I do.

Sonny: You're just reeling from everything that's happened. You got to -- you got to take some time, that's all.

Sam: Sonny, please? I -- this isn't what I need right now.

Sonny: No, I mean it. You got to just take a break, Sam.

Sam: There might be a baby coming, ok, and if that is true, I just -- I don't know if I can deal with it. Not after what -- what I went through after we lost our baby. I just -- I was ready to move on, you know? Jason and I, we actually talked about moving on and having a child of our own, and then I got shot. And that's when all of this changed, that's when everything changed -- the night I got shot. It wasn't -- it wasn't me and Ric. It wasn't Jason and Elizabeth. It was that night at the Metro Court. And what do I get, Sonny? I get nothing in the end.

Sonny: Ok, hold on, hold on, listen to me. Jason believes, you know, in taking responsibility, especially when it comes to children. And, yeah, I -- I do believe that if the baby is his, he's going to want to, you know, be part of the baby's life.

Sam: All right. Now I got to decide what to do. What do I do? Do I move on? I don't know what to do.

Sonny: Is that what you want?

Sam: I never wanted any of this.

Sonny: Bad things happened. You know, some were accidents, some were your fault, but you can't change that. What you need to think about is what you're going to do next. Pick what you want. If that's not an option, pick what you can live with. Because otherwise, you're going to just be, you know, a victim just waiting to get hurt.

Sam: I love Jason. I always will.

Sonny: Right.

Sam: Even if this baby is his, I -- I have to fight for him.

Det. Rodriguez: This is new technology, but it won't be long before Morgan figures out a way to block it.

Ric: Ok. We better make the most of this window of opportunity.

Jason: If it starts to get in the way of your job, you should take a break.

Elizabeth: I'm not worried about my job.

Ric: Elizabeth?

Elizabeth: What I can't handle is how upset I get. I mean, first it's Lucky with the pain pills, and then I catch him cheating on me with Maxie, and now she's pregnant? How much more of this am I supposed to take?

Det. Rodriguez: Commissioner's daughter?

Elizabeth: And he's in such denial over the whole thing. He doesn't even realize that --

Ric: Why would she say all this to Jason?

Det. Rodriguez: Weren't you and Elizabeth married at one time?

Ric: Yeah, we're good friends. She should have better sense than to pour her heart out to Jason.

Elizabeth: Worry about her and me and this new baby.

Jason: Ok, you know, you -- you are under a lot of stress. If you need to take some time off --

Elizabeth: I'm just worried about Lucky. It's bad enough that he's the father of this baby he didn't plan with Maxie. But what happens if you're the father of my baby?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Georgie: You're letting the Quartermaines pay you off?

Maxie: Dad?

Mac: What's going on?

Sonny: Carly is marrying Jax.

Carly: Elizabeth gets to have what Samís always wanted, and that's your child.

Sam: Don't you think that Lucky deserves to know the truth? Hi.
