Jax: Why are you doing this?
Carly: I told you -- I don't want my boys to get hurt when you decide to disappear again.
Jax: I'm not going anywhere.
Carly: How will I know? How do I trust that?
Jax: Because I didn't come halfway around the world for nothing, Carly. I came for you. And the boys -- they're part of that package. You know, I really think that we can be happy together. And there's absolutely nothing standing in our way.
Carly: Yeah? Michael, Morgan, you, me?
Jax: Come on, stop -- stop. Stop looking for reasons why we can't work, because you will find them.
Maxie: Oh. Morning, Lucky.
Lucky: This isn't a good time. I'm leaving for work.
Maxie: Oh. Don't worry. I'll have this place straightened up and all my stuff unpacked by the time you get home.
Elizabeth: Well, there's one silver lining to breaking up with Lucky.
Kelly: And that is?
Elizabeth: If this baby turns out to be Jason's, at least I won't have a marriage to wreck anymore.
Kelly: We can't perform a DNA test yet. In the meantime, I need you --
Elizabeth: I know, I know. I will tell Jason the possibility when he gets back from his trip.
Kelly: And what happens if Jason is the father?
Sonny: Welcome back.
Jason: I just came from the airport. How are you feeling?
Sonny: What -- fine. I'm taking the medication, going to the sessions. How'd it go in South America?
Jason: It's -- it's unstable.
Sonny: You think I'm going to snap under pressure? What's going on?
Jason: Alcazar's out for blood.
Jason: I made a few moves to keep him at bay, but he's getting bolder and more dangerous. The allies he couldn't make -- they're all dead.
Sonny: Didn't take him long to get past the point of negotiating, did it?
Jason: I'm just saying the war you wanted to avoid is going to hit home a lot sooner and harder than we thought.
Monica: It's okay.
Emily: I -- no, I --
Monica: It's all right --
Emily: I got here as fast --
Monica: It's all right. Everything is under control. I didn't think I would be asking you this, Emily, but are you sure you want to be a doctor?
Emily: What -- Mom, that's not fair. You know how much this means to me.
Monica: I thought I did.
Emily: I'm sorry about today. It's not going to happen again.
Monica: Yeah -- no, it's been a pattern, Emily. It's been going on for months.
Emily: I don't know what happened. My pager was off, I didn't turn it off.
Monica: Emily, come on. This isn't grade school. You're a first-year resident. "My dog ate my homework" doesn't cut it anymore.
Emily: I'm not making excuses. I'm just telling you what happened.
Monica: Okay, Em, look. You can be a doctor and have a personal life, you really can, but you have to learn to balance it out. Now, if you are trying to get back with Nikolas, that is one thing, that's your choice.
Emily: Whoa, whoa, whoa, oh. Who said anything about trying to get back together with Nikolas?
Monica: Well, I just assumed you were. You were just at his house, weren't you?
Emily: No. You know, he's been dealing with a lot of stuff and I'm just trying to help him through it. We're friends, Mom, and you know, that's -- that's it.
Monica: Okay. Well, then, my point is, Emily, you cannot do medicine part way -- not as a resident and not as a doctor. You have to make up your mind or stop wasting the hospital's time.
Maxie: It's really stuffy in here. I think I'm going to open a few windows.
Lucky: No, no, you can't move in.
Maxie: Why not?
Lucky: This wasn't our agreement.
Maxie: You said that we could move in together when you left Elizabeth, but she left you and she moved out, so why waste all that extra cash on a new place, on first/last month's rent, security deposit --
Lucky: Maxie, you're not hearing me.
Maxie: I know it's going to be a little weird, Lucky. I mean, you shared this place with Elizabeth. All the knickknacks and photos probably remind you of her, but if you give me just a couple of days, I'll have all of Cameron and her stuff hauled off to Audrey's. I might paint a wall or two or --
Lucky: Maxie, no! This isn't happening. We're not living together.
Maxie: Why? Because you think Elizabeth's coming back?
Elizabeth: I'm not sure I'll do anything one way or the other. Cam and I are settled in at Gram's and --
Kelly: Let -- let me rephrase the question. Between friends, if you could choose who you'd want as the baby's father, would it be Lucky or Jason?
Elizabeth: Oh. Lucky -- but the Lucky I used to know, the husband who was kind and loving and respected me, not the man who thought about doing drugs and slept with other women. So I guess it's not really a possibility, is it?
Kelly: Hmm. So that leaves the strong, silent type.
Elizabeth: Jason, an old friend whom I completely trust.
Elizabeth: His life is really complicated.
Kelly: And that could complicate yours?
Elizabeth: Oh, Lord, I don't even want to think that far ahead right now.
Kelly: Don't get me wrong -- I think the guy's hot. I'm just wondering if he's father material.
Elizabeth: Well, you'd be surprised. He's so good with Carly's kids. You know, he raised Michael for an entire year by himself?
Kelly: Go figure.
Kelly: One tiny problem -- the daughter of the ex DA. Jason's probably still in love with her in spite of his night with you.
Elizabeth: Thanks. Think I didn't know that?
Kelly: Hey, no judgment. I'm just standing back and taking it all in. The plot's a whole lot better than the book I just finished.
Kelly: I got to run. I'll see you later.
Elizabeth: How's your mom?
Sam: Well, you know, not so good. Dr. Trent is with her and Ric. Right now, I'm just kind of waiting for the latest updates.
Elizabeth: Well, I checked in on her earlier for Nikolas and she seemed to be holding her own.
Sam: Thank you.
Elizabeth: Um -- do you know when Jason's expected back?
Sam: Why do you want to know?
Jason: Rosales was grateful for the help in holding off Alcazar.
Sonny: Are you sure Rosales is still our ally?
Jason: Well, he wants us to think so, but I'm telling you right now that Alcazar is making a move. He's getting more powerful, he's forging new allies, and he's probably pulling strings that we don't even know about.
Sonny: Maybe you should've stayed down there longer.
Jason: Well, you know what? I thought about it, but I ran into some trouble.
Sonny: Okay, what happened now, Jason?
Jason: Nothing, nothing. It was nothing that I couldn't handle. I just came home to warn you to be careful, okay? This isn't just a South American problem anymore. Our interests in Port Charles are in jeopardy.
Sonny: Alcazar, he's -- he's acting out because Skye took his unborn child because he's bad news. Now, he's trying to prove, you know, that he's bad or whatever. You know what? Skye -- if I were Skye, I would not even come back.
Jason: Well, fine. Whatever it is, we just need to protect the people around us -- the kids, Carly, Sam.
Sonny: Carly -- what do you mean, Carly? Did you talk to Carly?
Jason: No. Why?
Sonny: She's trying to get in touch with you.
Jason: Well, I mean, she left a few messages, but I thought it was just Carly being Carly. What's wrong now?
Sonny: No, no. She's hung up on -- on Jax.
Sonny: They're playing that game back and forth -- no, but what I'm saying to you -- hey, you know what? He could hurt her and she's going to be blind-sided and you know that.
Jason: She can make her own choices, Sonny. We need to focus on Alcazar.
Sonny: Alcazar's -- he's -- he's nothing, okay? All we got to do is put a bullet through his heart. How do I protect Carly?
Jax: Come on. We're good for each other, Carly.
Carly: Yeah, so you keep telling me that.
Jax: We -- we enjoy our similarities, respect each other's differences. We can stand up to each other, you know, and we're smart enough to -- to know when to back off.
Carly: We're just lucky, yeah.
Jax: We make our own luck, good or bad. And we do it by taking chances.
Carly: Like getting together in the first place.
Jax: Right. I mean, we didn't even like each other. I had no reason to trust you with Courtney's son. I wanted to raise him and keep the secret that he wasn't mine. Telling you was a risk. And if you didn't support me, I had a lot to lose. But you did. And you -- you worked your way into our hearts and lives. And then when I gave John up --
Carly: You gave up on us.
Jax: I stole another man's child, Carly. Okay? I didn't feel worthy of anyone or anything, so I left. But you came after me. And if you keep telling yourself that you don't want me --
Carly: That's the problem, Jax.
Carly: I do want you.
Carly: Jax, I used to be indestructible. I would take on any fight, any battle, forge ahead no matter what the cost. But then something in me broke and I couldn't fix it, and I ended up in a sanitarium.
Jax: Yeah, and Sonny did that to you, not me.
Carly: No, I did it to myself, and to blame anyone else would be a crutch.
Carly: When I was released, I felt like I had my fight back. I had peace, I had independence. My life was my own again, Jax.
Jax: You think that I want to take that away from you?
Carly: No, but I'm saying it was a hell of a lot safer at the beginning when you were just the guy who had Courtney's baby and I had to get along with you so I could see the little guy. And then there was sparks and then a fling and then you made me realize I still had what it takes and --
Jax: Oh, come on, Carly. It was a hell of a lot more than that.
Carly: It was so much more than that, okay? You were the guy that I could see a future with and you were dangerous because I wanted so much more of you, but I am not going to break the promises that I've made to myself or my children.
Jax: Well, I'm -- I'm not asking you to.
Carly: I -- look, we just need time. We need time. And I'm not resisting you because I don't want your mind or your body or your love. It's because I want it so damn much -- don't you get that?
Jax: Do you know what your problem is?
Carly: My problem is that I --
Jax: No, your problem is that you think too much.
Sonny: Hey, hey, you know what? This isn't just about Carly, Jason. If she's fooling around with -- with Jax, then, you know, Michael and Morgan could get caught in the crossfire.
Sonny: And not to mention, I mean, you got Kristina, and she's going to -- she's going to have a rough time in the next few months.
Jason: Is Alexis getting worse?
Sonny: Sam told you?
Jason: No, she didn't tell me. She just left a message, didn't go into detail.
Sonny: The doctors wanted to start chemo, but Alexis got pneumonia. It hurt -- she was so weak that they induced a coma and all her body can do is fight it off and then they put her on a ventilator because she couldn't breathe and then it just got -- you know, it's just -- whew.
Jason: Sam is scared she's going to lose her mother. Are they at the lake house?
Sonny: Well -- I want to bring Kristina here. But Sam, you know, she said that Kristina's better off where she wants to be. And I told -- I told Ric that there's no way in hell I'm going to let Sam and Kristina stay with him. So he's been at the hospital with Alexis taking care of her, whatever. But I'm telling you right now, sooner or later, he has to come home.
Sam: My mother is ill. I'm taking care of my sisters, trying to keep my family together. Talking to you about Jason after knowing that the two of you -- is just not really what I'm up for right now, okay?
Elizabeth: Well, this is about Lucky. He's addicted to drugs and he's spinning out of control.
Sam: Does -- does Lucky know about you and --
Elizabeth: Oh, no.
Elizabeth: No. But he does know that Jason is the one who killed Manny Ruiz that night and, well, he just hasn't been the same and I'm afraid that if he goes after Jason to bust him, that someone might get hurt.
Sam: Oh. Lucky or Jason?
Elizabeth: Well, I can't expect Jason to protect Lucky, so I was just hoping that, you know, maybe he wouldn't hurt him.
Sam: Hmm. I -- I don't know when he's going to be home, so --
Elizabeth: Okay. That's -- I'm just going to leave him a message.
Maxie: How many times do you have to be kicked in the teeth, Lucky? Your marriage is over. I thought that's what you wanted.
Lucky: No, I didn't. I've been lying to you about leaving Elizabeth and us living together.
Maxie: You're just upset.
Lucky: Maxie, I was desperate to get my hands on some pills. I just needed to help Lulu. I -- whether I was high or wanted to get high, I told you what you wanted to hear. But the truth is Elizabeth and I were never over.
Maxie: No? She knows you're using again, Lucky. She left you.
Lucky: Elizabeth was right to leave. I was losing control. I do things that I normally wouldn't do.
Maxie: You were not faking when you were with me. I know you weren't.
Lucky: Maxie, you're a nice person.
Maxie: "A nice person"? My God.
Lucky: I haven't been myself. It's not your fault. It's mine.
Lucky: I am going to taper off these pills and I'm going to get my problem under control.
Maxie: Just like that?
Lucky: My family doesn't want me doing this stuff, and neither do I. No, no. Don't, don't, please don't touch that. That's one of Elizabeth's favorite things. She likes it right where it is. When I get this right, Elizabeth is going to come back home.
Maxie: Okay. So I guess you don't need these anymore, then?
Maxie: Come on. How many times have you said you were going to quit and you -- you always come back, to them and to me?
Lucky: I can't go back.
Maxie: Lucky, do you really think you could get by without them, without me?
Lucky: Knock it off, Maxie.
Maxie: So what are you going to do? You're just going to quit cold turkey? I mean, you said yourself you're going to have to taper off. That's going to take more time and more pills.
Lucky: You know what? I'm going to find a way.
Maxie: I'll get them for you.
Lucky: You know what? This is over, Maxie, and you've got to be out of this, okay? I'm sorry I used you, but you have to go -- now.
Maxie: No. You don't mean that. You weren't using me. You cared about me. I could feel it!
Lucky: Maxie, stop. I love my wife. She's the only woman I want to be with now.
Maxie: You do not mean that. You want me --
Lucky: We made some mistakes, but it's over. Accept that and go.
Maxie: I won't.
Lucky: Maxie --
Maxie: God, Lucky. I care about you! What we have is real. I will not let you go.
Lucky: You have to.
Maxie: No! You will see that I am right. Elizabeth is not done hurting you!
Emily: I heard there was a bus accident.
Elizabeth: Yeah. Looks like a dozen wounded, no fatalities, that everyone is expected to recover.
Emily: Hey, I'll get -- divorce papers?
Elizabeth: Yeah. My marriage is over. There's no point in dragging it out.
Emily: Wow. I'm so sorry. Elizabeth, Nikolas told me that Lucky's back on drugs and he accidentally knocked you down.
Elizabeth: Yeah, he's having a hard time accepting that we split up. And I moved back in with my grandmother, and Lucky practically stormed the house. He came over yelling and banging down the door. It was -- it was pretty scary and I just don't want my son around behavior like that.
Emily: I get that you need distance now --
Elizabeth: Emily, I told him that if he ever touches those pills again, that I would leave him.
Emily: The rehab place that Nikolas and I found is holding a spot for Lucky.
Elizabeth: Good, good. I'm glad and I really hope he goes, but I just -- it's not going to change anything for me.
Emily: Are you sure?
Elizabeth: I just can't go on like this anymore. I have given him so many chances and every time he has screwed up.
Emily: Elizabeth, if you divorce him now, it's like you've given up. You've resigned yourself to the fact that he's never going to get clean. Is that what you really believe?
Elizabeth: I don't know.
Sam: You're back?
Jason: Yeah, uh -- I landed about an hour ago.
Sam: Is everything okay?
Jason: Whew -- yeah, it's fine. Yeah. I just actually wanted to check on you.
Sam: Then why are you leaving?
Carly: I can't do this.
Jax: Well, at least it's not "I don't want to." We're making progress.
Carly: We have to be serious.
Jax: Where's the fun in that, huh? Come on.
Carly: I need some breathing room, Jax.
Jax: Why, so you can think a little more?
Carly: Stop saying it like it's a bad thing.
Jax: Why don't we go with what we know. Hmm?
Carly: Which is what?
Jax: That we are madly attracted to one another.
Carly: That's called lust.
Jax: You're so beautiful.
Carly: Okay, I'll let you say that.
[Jax and Carly giggle]
Jax: I'm, sorry, I'm sorry. I know you don't want the boys to know that we're here.
Carly: I lied -- they're not here. They're out with Leticia.
Jax: Oh, so we're alone, huh?
Carly: Yeah, so are we back to lust?
Jax: Well, that or we could think a little more if you'd like.
Sonny: We need to talk, privately.
Carly: You don't get to barge in my house and order me around, Sonny.
Sonny: Why not? You do it all the time. Jax, it's a pri-- it's private. Can you --
Carly: No, no, he can't, because Jax is my guest and he's not leaving, but you are. You can go.
Sonny: Okay, this is private family matter, Jax. You guys can do your hotel business whenever you want.
Carly: You're being really arrogant right now.
Jax: It's okay.
Sonny: What do you mean, I'm being arrogant?
Jax: No problem. I will leave. This is obviously an important family matter, so --
Jax: I'll call you later, okay? Bye.
Carly: Bye. Don't ever do that again.
Sonny: Would you rather me storm into your bedroom and climb through your window like you did with me?
Carly: Oh, so you're going to admit that you're jealous of me and Jax, right?
Sonny: You and Jax can bop around like bunnies if you want anywhere, anytime as long as, you know, the kids aren't there or whatever, but that's --
Carly: The kids aren't here and I wouldn't do that, so no family business, okay? You can go now.
Sonny: Ahem. I'll go ahead and go when I'm ready.
Jason: It was a bad idea for me to come here. But you said -- you told Alexis you'd stay away from me.
Sam: I'm still glad to see you. I -- I got all of your messages, and I saved them all even though they all were pretty much identical. "I'm okay and I'll call you when I get back." It just -- it let me know that you were still alive.
Jason: Yeah, I -- you know, I was working. There really wasn't much to say. Sonny told me about Alexis. You said on the phone that she had gotten worse. I just didn't realize how -- how bad.
Sam: She's still unconscious and they don't know if or when she's going to wake up.
Jason: Sam, I'm -- I'm sorry. I am. I know how hard this has been for you.
Sam: Oh. You have no idea, Jason. I'm scrambling to do a lot and I just -- I don't know if I'm doing any of it well. Kristina, she asks about her mom at least five times a day, and Molly, she fusses and cries. She's really not at that age where she can express her feelings the way I -- I know she wants to. I know that she's scared and she feels alone. The person that she loves the most is not there -- I don't know. I -- I guess I just -- I -- I can see how she feels. I know how she feels.
Jason: Uh -- well, I doubt this well help, but I sort of got you a present.
Sam: They're plane snacks.
Son: Yeah. The stewardess thought I was really out of my mind. I was seated first-class. I kept asking for snacks from coach and she brought me this bowl of warm cashews. I told her I did not want the cashews. She started bringing me shrimp cocktail.
Sam: Oh -- never. No seafood on the airplane, no.
Jason: No, I did not eat it. I kept asking for snacks from coach. I finally had to pay her off.
Sam: That's like the time when we were coming back from Texas and I was pregnant and I kept asking for peanuts and I wanted more peanuts and more peanuts and you had to pay her off.
Sam: Why do you think these things are so good anyway?
Jason: I have no idea.
Sam: You want some?
Jason: Oh, no. I wouldn't want to deprive you of --
Sam: I don't mind sharing, really.
Kristina: Sam, where are you?
Jason: I should -- I should go.
Sam: Probably a good idea.
Jason: Uh, just call me, okay, if you need -- if you need anything.
Sam: Okay. Thanks for my present.
Jason: Well, I wouldn't really call it a present. It's -- it's fine.
Sam: No, it's perfect. It is. Whew.
Kristina: Where were you?
Sam: Hello. I was standing right here.
Kristina: What are those?
Sam: These? These were a present from a friend.
Elizabeth: I have stood by Lucky for as long as I can.
Elizabeth: I have been supportive, sympathetic, helpful, but enough is enough.
Emily: He's sick.
Elizabeth: Well, he can't use that as an excuse for everything he's done -- like sleeping with Maxie.
Emily: She manipulated him.
Elizabeth: And that makes it okay?
Emily: No, no, not at all. Elizabeth, Lucky was wrong, absolutely. I'm just saying that --
Elizabeth: I know -- that she took advantage of his dependency and she seduced him and she got him pills and she worked off of his -- his jealousy of Patrick and Jason.
Emily: I -- I can understand Patrick. He's been dogging you for months, but why Jason? What does Lucky see there?
Elizabeth: Well, you know, Jason saved me from Manny, and Lucky didn't.
Emily: What? So what? I mean, it's not like Jason would ever hit on you and you'd never cheat on Lucky. Lucky knows that.
Elizabeth: Well, those pills have brought out the worst in him -- the anger, the lies, the paranoia.
Emily: More reasons that you need to help him, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: I can't. I can't, Em. I'm just done. Okay? I -- I pray and hope that he will -- he will get help and he'll go to rehab, but I -- he has to want it. I can't be the one to save him. I just need to take care of myself right now. It's a little selfish, isn't it?
Emily: No. I'm just wondering if you still love him.
Elizabeth: Does it really matter?
Emily: You need to ask yourself how you're going to feel if Lucky gets clean. Be sure of what you're ending, Elizabeth, because it might be too late to get him back.
Lucky: Yeah, I'm not sure when I'll be in. I -- I have to tie up some -- some loose ends, something that went bust. It's all right. Hey, thanks, Cruz. I'll -- I'll call you later.
Maxie: Oh. Look, Georgie, I just need you to cover for me tonight, okay? I'm not coming home. I don't need a lecture from you. I'm doing what I think is best for me and Lucky. He's going to be with me whether he knows it yet or not.
Carly: You need to stop using our kids for your own agenda.
Sonny: This is about you, too.
Carly: I don't need you controlling my life, Sonny.
Sonny: Oh -- okay, listen. Hold on here. You and the kids could be in danger.
Carly: What kind of danger?
Sonny: Jason came back from South America. There's trouble brewing, bad trouble, and it comes from Alcazar.
Carly: Oh. Lorenzo would never hurt me and the boys.
Sonny: Well, he put a hit on Jason twice. And the people who work for Alcazar, all they care about is getting their point across and if that means a dead woman and her children, that's what that means.
Carly: Okay. I'll be careful.
Sonny: Starting now, if, you know, you and Jax want to grope each other on the couch like a couple of horny teenagers, that's fine, but you keep that door locked. You -- you don't -- you don't know who could've barged in here. It could've been, you know, armed goons with -- bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, you know? And last time I checked, Jax wasn't packing much heat. Listen, I'm putting a guard on you and the boys and I don't want to hear any arguments.
Carly: You're back in charge?
Sonny: Something like that.
Carly: You okay, because this sounds really big.
Sonny: Well, you know -- you know, Jason's back and we'll be able to keep things contained until we find a permanent solution. I just want you to be careful.
Sonny: All right. Ah. And, you know what? Just for the record, Jax is a player and a coward.
Carly: I knew. You couldn't resist, could you?
Sonny: No, no, no. It's just that, you know, when the going got tough, he walked out and he's going to do it again and it's just a matter of time, but I think you already know that since, you know, you tried to fight it so hard. Just -- just trust your instincts.
Carly: I do. They're telling me you're working an angle.
Sonny: No, what I'm trying to do -- is scare you. That way, you'll be afraid when you should be like the Carly I used to know.
Lucky: Hey, have you seen Elizabeth?
Emily: Nikolas has been trying to find you.
Lucky: Okay, just tell him I'm dealing with it and not to worry, okay?
Emily: Lucky, we're worried about you. We love you. We care about you.
Lucky: Okay. Where's my wife?
Emily: She doesn't want to see you. Don't make it worse.
Lucky: Okay, it doesn't have to be this way. We can do it the hard way or the easy way.
Emily: I think she was headed for the courthouse.
Emily: This is between you and Elizabeth.
Lucky: Okay, don't --
Emily: I'm not getting --
Lucky: Stop wasting time. I'm sure she told you. What's going on? Why is she at the courthouse?
Emily: She can't handle it anymore, Lucky. She wants a divorce. I saw her filling out the preliminary paperwork.
Lucky: Okay, thanks.
Maxie: It's me.
Lucky: Oh, listen, I don't have time for this.
Maxie: I'm in our special place.
Lucky: What are you doing?
Maxie: You don't have to worry, Lucky. I'm not going to bother you anymore. I'm letting go. I just -- I wanted to tell you that I love you.
Lucky: Maxie, what's going on?
Maxie: I'm not scared. It's kind of like falling asleep. I just wanted to hear your voice before --
Lucky: Maxie? Maxie -- Maxie? What -- what have you done? Maxie? Maxie! Maxie?
Jason: I need you to keep an eye on Sam and Kristina, okay? If you see anyone following them or watching the lake house, you need to call me right away.
Elizabeth: Jason. Oh. I'm so glad you're back.
Jason: What -- are you okay?
Elizabeth: I just filed for divorce.
Carly: Hi there.
Jax: Hey. Well, I got your message.
Carly: Yes, and we should go right now.
Jax: Where are we going?
Carly: I booked us a room at the Metro Court -- room 1026, you know, the one with the nice view of the water? Cocktails will be there when we arrive. Room service is sending up a light supper.
Jax: Hmm. Well, it sounds nice, but I will have to take a rain check.
Carly: I don't think you heard what I said. Leticia has the boys and --
Jax: No, I heard you.
Carly: I don't understand.
Jax: Come on, Carly. This isn't about you and me. This is about Sonny. He walked in on us, he ruined our moment, and now you want to sleep with me as a way to stick it to him. Let's not do this for the wrong reasons.
Sonny: I hope Max made you feel comfortable. You all right?
Lainey: He tried to squeeze in a quick session, but I don't do two-for-one house calls.
Sonny: Well, that's good because I got a -- I need the whole hour to myself.
Lainey: Well, you look a little agitated.
Sonny: Yeah, I got some business stuff going on and -- there was a little mix-up with Carly.
Lainey: Hmm. That seems to be happening with more frequency.
Sonny: Yeah, well, you know, Jax is hanging around with his phony moves and, you know, shallow promises and, well --
Lainey: What makes you think they're shallow?
Sonny: Uh -- well, come on. He's -- he's -- he's not real. He's a playboy, always has been, always will be, and he's got about as much depth as a piece of paper.
Lainey: For a man who's not in love with his ex-wife, you really seem to spend a lot of time worrying about her.
Sonny: Yeah, well, because, you know, I mean, she -- I care about her. Like I've told you, she's the mother of my children, so that's --
Lainey: Yeah, no, no, apart from the kids. Sonny, is Carly simply a diversion or is there some leftover antagonism or attraction from your marriage?
Sonny: You know what? It's a waste of time anyway because Carly's not listening to me and she thinks that I have my own agenda and --
Lainey: Why would she ever think that?
Sonny: Well, you know what the -- the bottom line is? She's hot for Jax, she's going to end up getting back together with the guy, so --
Lainey: Yes -- so?
Sonny: So it's the worst thing she could possibly do. That's -- that's what it is.
Lainey: But it's her choice.
Sonny: Yeah, but it's a bad one. See, the kids -- I don't want my kids hanging out there all the time. Do you get what I'm saying?
Lainey: No, I see that.
Sonny: So I'm going to have to just do something that, you know, just -- I'm going to have to resort to something a little more drastic.
Lainey: Like what?
Sonny: Whatever it takes to get Carly away from Jax permanently.
[Knock on door]
Lucky: Maxie! Maxie, wake up. Maxie, wake up. You got to wake up. Maxie? Come on. Come on. Wake up.
Elizabeth: I wanted to believe that Lucky was being straight with me, that he wasn't taking his pills anymore and he wasn't seeing Maxie, but I guess he was lying to me the entire time.
Jason: Did he admit that?
Elizabeth: Finally, after I confronted him with some proof. And then I told him I was leaving.
Jason: How'd he -- how'd he take it?
Elizabeth: Not well. He flipped out and we fought and he accidentally knocked me down.
Jason: Did he hurt you?
Elizabeth: No. No, he didn't, not physically. But he scared me because I've never seen him like that before and I -- I know that it's -- it was the pills that made him act like that.
Jason: Leaving was a good idea, at least for now.
Elizabeth: Especially now.
Jason: Why? What's happened?
Elizabeth: Oh -- Jason, I've been waiting for you to come home because I have something to tell you.
Jason: Something's obviously on your mind. You know you can just say it. I'll -- I'll help you any way I can.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Lucky: Come on.
Diego: What's going on here?
Lucky: I think she OD'd.
Diego: I'll call General Hospital.
Elizabeth: I realized that when you left town, uh --
Carly: Forget Sonny. This is about what I want.
Sonny: He's using her. We can't allow that.Back to The TV MegaSite's GH Site
