[Music plays]

Elizabeth: Don't make this any harder than it has to be.

Lucky: Put the bag down!

Elizabeth: Lucky, I don't want to talk. I just -- I just want to leave.

Lucky: You're not going anywhere until you give me a chance to explain!

Singer: Do you see it takes everything to be in this moment I can't just end up with a photograph of the one I lost is it safe to love you? Will you turn around and tell me it's already over

[Car engine starts]

Singer: Will you tear my heart up and tell me how sorry you are, years play and memories stay and now I believe that my heart will simply fall apart

Elizabeth: I'm not making you any more promises!

Singer: If you turn around and tell me it's already over will you tear my heart up and tell me it just wasn't meant to be will you turn around and tell me it's already over will you tear my heart up and tell me how sorry you are hey, yeah hey, yeah hey, yeah is it safe to love you? Oh, oh, oh is it safe? Is it safe to love you? Will you turn around and tell me it's already over will you tear my heart up and tell me it just wasn't meant to be

[Clock ticks]

Lucky: My God, are you -- I just want to -- are you okay?

Elizabeth: Don't touch me!

Lucky: God, she -- she just fell. It was an accident. I was just trying to stop her bef--

Nikolas: What?

Lucky: I swear it was an accident.

Nikolas: You have any idea what you could've done?

Lulu: Ahem -- yes, I need a taxi. Port Charles Women's Clinic. The street number is -- hold on.

[Car door closes]

Georgie: Hi.

Lulu: What are you doing here?

Georgie: I thought you could use a ride.

Lulu: Um -- I'm sorry. Cancel the taxi.

Luke: Well, it should be over now. I have to go. The Quartermaines will be all fangs and claws. I need to protect her from them -- at least she'll let me do that much. I'll let you know how it turns out, sweetheart.

[Luke sighs]

Robin: Luke?

Luke: Well, Robin. What are the chances of running into you here?

Robin: Not as random as you might think. I was looking for you. I have a proposition.

Nikolas: Stay still and I'll call the hospital.

Lucky: Look, are you okay?

Elizabeth: I'm okay.

Lucky: Is something broken?

Elizabeth: No, I'm okay. I'm okay.

Lucky: All right. You know what? I'll get you some ice.

Elizabeth: I said I'm fine!

Nikolas: Come on. Come on, we're going to the hospital. Let's go.

Elizabeth: Okay.

Lucky: Wait, wait. She fell. It was a simple fall, that's all.

Nikolas: No, don't even go there, Lucky!

Lucky: Wait a minute. You can't hardly think that -- I would never hurt her!

Elizabeth: Okay, just -- just stop, okay? I -- I fell. Whether it was an accident or not, it happened because you're on drugs. And your habit, Lucky, is ruining our lives, and if you're not going to do something about it, then I will!

Lucky: Okay, just give me 10 minutes, Elizabeth, just to talk. I deserve that much!

Elizabeth: 10 minutes? 10 minutes? I have given you so many months, Lucky, and all you have done is hurt me!

Lucky: I can do this if you're by my side.

Elizabeth: No. No, because the very little I have left to give is going to my son because he is the one who has suffered through most of this. Can we go now?

Lucky: I don't know if I can do this without you!

Elizabeth: Figure it out because I'm done.

Sonny: So -- ahem -- the reason I came over is because I spoke to the doctors myself, and they told me that your mommy is doing really well, okay? That's nice, right? And they -- they just want her to sleep. They're going to give her medicine while she sleeps.

Kristina: Will it hurt?

Sonny: Well, she's going to be in a deep sleep, you know, like sometimes you're in a deep sleep, you don't hear anything, not even Molly crying or, you know, you just -- and your mama tries to wake up and you really don't feel anything? That's the kind of deep sleep your mom's going to be in. She's not going to be afraid. She's not going to be hurt or anything.

Kristina: I think she should sleep in her own bed.

Sonny: Yeah, well, you know what? She's got to be close, you know, to the doctors at the hospital, but, hey, guess what? Guess what they said -- that when she wakes up, you know what they're going to do? They're going to call me so you can go see her right away. Would you like that?

Kristina: Yeah.

Sonny: Yeah? All right. So, listen, do you want to sleep in your own bed tonight or do you want to come home with Daddy?

Kristina: Molly, too?

Sonny: No, sweetheart, just you.

Kristina: I want to be with Molly.

Sam: Hey, you know what? I think that we should go in your room and I could read your favorite, "Sleeping Beauty."

Sonny: But, hey, can I get a hug first? You know what? One other thing I want to say to you -- the good thing about everything is I know your mommy's not here, but you always have me and Sam to take care of you, okay?

Kristina: And Daddy Ric, too.

Ric: That's right. I'll always be here for you, and I'll always protect you. Go to bed.

Sam: Come on.

Sonny: You can go ahead and leave now.

Ric: It's my house.

Sonny: Yeah, I know it's your house. But I am not going to let you stay here with Sam and my daughter.

Georgie: If you don't want to do this, you can come home with me.

Lulu: Oh, thank you. Um -- but they're going to be wanting to hear this. You don't have to stay.

Georgie: I want to if it's okay with you, if -- if you want me to.

Lulu: Okay.

Dillon: Lulu.

Lulu: Huh. It's over. I had the abortion. All right. Let's just let the screaming begin now.

Dillon: Are you okay?

Lulu: You mean do I feel okay? Yeah, I'm mostly tired. But if you're going to kick me out of the house, can you just do it now, please?

Edward: No one here is in a position to -- to judge you, my dear.

Lulu: That's never stopped you before.

Edward: I'll never agree with the choice you made, but it's done.

Lulu: That's it? No yelling, no recriminations, no threatening me with the wrath of hell?

Tracy: Dillon had it right -- our only concern is for your well-being.

Lulu: Why are you being so nice to me? I know that you guys hate me for this.

Tracy: You're wrong -- we don't hate you. It was your choice to make and you made it. There's nothing left to discuss.

Edward: And as long as you're all right, I think we can say that this matter is -- is concluded. So, Tracy, you -- you want to join your old dad for a brandy in the living room?

Lulu: Well, that was a surprise.

Dillon: See? Despite all their craziness, they have moments where they act almost human.

Lulu: Huh.

Dillon: How are you, really?

Lulu: Mostly relieved, I guess.

Dillon: Are you, um -- are you in any pain?

Lulu: I'm mostly numb.

Dillon: Well, if you want, I could -- I could have Cook make you a sandwich or some juice or --

Georgie: Lulu, would you like me to call your family?

Lulu: I wish you could. I wish that you could call the one person who would tell me that everything's going to be okay, but you can't, because my mom just won't answer.

Robin: I actually came to see Laura's doctors. There's a breakthrough in a possible treatment for Laura.

Luke: No, there is no treatment. I've been told that over and over again.

Robin: That may have been true when she was first diagnosed, but in the world of medical research, opinions like that change all the time.

Luke: I've heard that one before, too. Every institution we've been in, every doctor we saw suddenly disappeared whenever his pet theory went down the drain.

Robin: Maybe not this time. When I lived in Paris, I was involved in a clinical study regarding memory restoration. The lead researcher was working on this radical new medication. I'm telling you, this guy is a genius, and what he's come up with -- I think that it could help Laura's condition. Now, I would have to do some tests on her and see if she's a candidate, and I would need your permission for that, of course.

Luke: You know, hope is a very fragile thing, Dr. Robin. You can hope and hope and hope as your -- your loved one slips further and further away. And then one day you realize you don't have any hope left. It died, it's just gone.

Robin: I can't even begin to imagine what that's like for you. And I'm not going to lie to you -- even if Laura were an ideal candidate, there's no guarantees. But you should know there have been some patients in Europe that have had good preliminary results. Whether that means Laura can come back to you the way you want her to, I can't say. But I think it's worth a shot. Here. Take my card and just think about it.

Luke: There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about it.

Robin: Well, if you change your mind, give me a call.

Luke: I really appreciate your concern for Laura.

Robin: Well, she was always good to me. I'd like to return the favor.

Luke: Well, if you want to do something for her, Dr. Robin, please understand that I have to protect whatever dignity she has left.

Ric: When I leave here, it'll be to go see Alexis and be by her bedside and hold her hand in the hopes that she may feel that somebody's there who cares about her, and then I will come back here to our house, Sonny, because, as you seem to have forgotten, I have a baby daughter who needs me just like Kristina and Alexis need me -- me, Sonny, not you, okay? Alexis wanted me to take care of her girls; me and Sam. I'm sorry you weren't part of the plan.

Sonny: I'm pretty certain if Alexis knew you had sex with Sam, she'd change her mind.

Ric: Okay, well, it's a little too late to inform her of that, don't you think? And even if she were conscious, do you really think that you would be that callous to blow her whole world apart so soon after her cancer surgery?

Sonny: I like how you get all noble all the while trying to get into Sam's pants.

Ric: Okay. Here's a little news flash for you -- I no longer care about what you think. The bottom line is I'm not going let you force me out of my own house.

Sonny: If you refuse to leave, I will have to take Kristina out of here, and I don't want to do that, Ric!

Ric: Even though Kristina doesn't want to go? You asked her yourself.

Sonny: She's a little girl, Ric.

Ric: She said she didn't want to leave.

Sonny: She can't make her decisions on her own! She's not -- she's just a little girl.

Sam: Sonny? Sonny, please, you can't take her. I just got her to sleep. Please let her sleep in her bed where she feels safe. I will protect her, I promise you.

Sonny: Well, see, that's what worries me -- that you'll protect Kristina from this slimeball as well as you protected yourself.

Elizabeth: I'm okay.

Nikolas: Good.

Kelly: We did an ultrasound and everything looked fine. But she needs to take it easy and try to avoid stress. It's bad for everyone.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, it's not like I asked for this.

Kelly: I'm just advising you as your doctor and as your friend -- hiding something as significant as a pregnancy makes things that much more difficult. And no matter what you think, I strongly suggest you tell your husband and anyone else who should know so you can start taking good care of yourself.

Elizabeth: Okay. Thank you. I will think about it.

Kelly: Okay.

Nikolas: She knows what she's talking about. You have to tell Lucky.

Elizabeth: Why? Why? He's high on pills. He's been lying to me for months. He's had an affair. I'm sorry, telling him is not going to help me or this baby.

Nikolas: I'm -- I'm just trying to be fair to everyone, that's all.

Elizabeth: I -- I know you love your brother, but he is not thinking clearly. And if it were just me, maybe I'd be able to deal with it, but it's not just me.

Nikolas: Look, I -- I know that Lucky's behavior is inexcusable, but it's the drugs talking. Maybe if we can get him into rehab or --

Elizabeth: Look, there is nothing I want more than for Lucky to get well, and I pray that you're with him every step of the way, but I don't have a choice. I have to leave him.

Luke: Is Lulu here?

Tracy: She's upstairs resting.

Luke: Thank you. She didn't want me with her at the clinic.

Tracy: Where'd you go?

Luke: She asked me to go visit her mother.

Tracy: Not the kind of procedure a girl would want her dad for.

Luke: The one thing my daughter needs most, I don't seem to be able to give her.

Tracy: Luke, you're doing the best you can.

Luke: Oh, Tracy. Just when I think I've made peace with what's happened to Laura, a day like today happens, and it all blows up in my face. I keep having this dream about her. She's sitting there staring at the wall, eyes blank. And then she screams, "Luke. I'm in here. Help me."

Sam: Maybe it would be best all around if you just went to the hospital now, Ric.

Ric: Okay, what is -- what is this garbage the two of you are spewing? You know, I don't know what you told him, but you don't get to change story to suit you. You know, I'm -- I'm not some rapist who took advantage of poor, innocent little Sam.

Sam: Hey! Yo, I -- I never said you did!

Ric: Well, you might as well because you're implying it all the time. Look, I don't know what Jason did to spin it to let you off the hook, and I don't know what the two of you talk about, but the night that Sam and I slept together, she was a willing participant. I'd say she was a little bit more than a willing participant.

Sonny: Okay, you know what? There's no need to get into --

Ric: Okay, fine, you want to clear it up? Why don't you tell him? You look him in the eye, Sam. You tell him. You deny it. Tell him I'm lying. Yeah. It's about time somebody around here told the truth.

Sonny: Not you. You know how I know? You made a similar move with Carly.

Ric: Oh.

Sonny: You drugged her, you put her to bed. You made her believe you had sex with her to get over on me. You did the same with Sam to get over on Jason, except this time unfortunately you had sex with her!

Ric: You know what? You're a hypocrite, Sonny --

Sonny: Oh, please.

Ric: Because you got Sam pregnant, and then you tossed her off like a side of beef to Jason, didn't you? Don't tell me I use women to gain my own power! You wrote the book!

Sonny: Keep your voice down! Maybe I didn't make myself clear. You go to the hospital, you sit with your wife, or I will make you disappear for good, Ric.

Ric: The fact that you threaten my life is one more reason why Alexis wants to protect Kristina from you. She knows at the drop of a hat you can change your mind about somebody and you got no use for them, so they're history, right? The idea that you even imply that I'm a danger to Kristina is one more example of your double standard.

Sonny: No, I can have as many double standards as I want. I mean -- haven't you heard? I'm the one with the army and the weapons.

Ric: Yeah, and that makes you the most dangerous of all, Sonny.

Sonny: No, you're the most dangerous because you're a weak man with an ax to grind. One day you're going to try to use my kid against me -- it's not going to happen.

Ric: I had no idea that you hated me this much.

Sonny: Well, you just haven't been listening. Get out of here, Ric. I'm -- I'm done --

Ric: Well, how are you going to explain all this away to Alexis, Sonny, huh?

Sonny: I'll deal with that when I have to! But -- you know what? I -- I promise you I will make her a widow --

Sam: Hey, hey --

Sonny: Before --

Sam: Please be quiet. Kristina is sleeping in there.

Ric: Okay, fine, I'm going to go. I'm going to go to Alexis -- not because you tell me to, but because she does need me, probably now more than ever under the circumstances. You know, Sonny, you call me selfish all the time. But think about what you're doing, and then you look in the mirror. I'll call you if there's any change.

Sam: Sonny, Sonny, I think -- oh, I think you just made a big mistake.

Tracy: If it makes you feel any better, Daddy was very kind to Lulu tonight even though what she did broke his heart.

Luke: Well, it's nice to know the old bastard still has one.

Tracy: We were all very kind to Lulu -- Dillon, me, even Georgie, and Georgie had a reason to hate her. She actually brought Lulu home from the clinic.

Luke: Boy, you all really wanted my daughter to have that baby, didn't you?

Tracy: I don't know about the rest of them, but I wanted it for her sake. I hoped to avoid Lulu waking up one day and wondering what on earth possessed her or seeing a small child somewhere and suddenly having a head full of questions that there are no answers for.

Luke: You know, when she was first born, I wanted to wrap her in bubble wrap and put her in a safe corner, and when she stared to walk and navigate those stairs in the old house we lived in, I was sure if she fell, she would shatter. But we'd pick her up, we'd wipe her tears, we'd kiss her bruises and her scrapes. But we could never stop her from taking the fall.

Tracy: Can I tell you that I'm relieved for Dillon? He gets to move forward with his life unencumbered and contemplate the possibility of fatherhood when he is more emotionally and physically and mentally prepared.

Luke: Can I tell you you've been standup through this, and I deeply appreciate it.

Tracy: And why wouldn't I be standup, Luke? I'm your wife.

Audrey: Oh.

Elizabeth: Hi, Gram.

Audrey: Hi.

Elizabeth: I'm sorry it's so late.

Audrey: Oh, darling, not at all. Come in. Oh, dear. What's happened?

Elizabeth: Can I -- can I stay here for a few nights?

Audrey: Well, of course. You can stay here as long as you want. Do you want to see Cameron?

Elizabeth: Yeah. I -- no -- no, not like this.

Audrey: Oh, darling, I'm so sorry. Now, you said you wanted to work on your marriage.

Elizabeth: Oh, God.

Audrey: Oh, no.

Elizabeth: Oh.

Audrey: Sit over here. You and Lucky -- I mean, how could this happen? You were so happy.

Elizabeth: I don't -- I don't know. I honestly thought that we could work through anything, but --

Audrey: And of course you can.

Elizabeth: No, Gram, you don't understand. You know, Lucky with his -- when he broke his back and the doctors put him on Hydrocodone?

Audrey: Mm-hmm.

Elizabeth: Well, he hasn't gotten off of it since.

Audrey: You mean Lucky's become dependent on pain medication?

Elizabeth: Addicted -- I mean, full-blown addict behavior. He -- he lies about everything. He lies about -- about going to his meetings and about quitting the pills, and he lies about working on our marriage, and the only thing he actually does work on is getting another supply, and I just -- I can't. But, Gram, I love him. I love him and I just wish that I could hold him together, but I can't even hold myself together right now.

Audrey: Now, you and Cameron, you just stay here as long as you need to. We'll work through all of this together, I promise.

Elizabeth: Oh.

[Pounding on door]

Lucky: Audrey? It's me, Lucky.

Elizabeth: Oh.

Lucky: I need to see my wife, please. Would you tell Elizabeth that I have to talk to her?

Elizabeth: Okay.

Audrey: Uh -- now, Lucky, you know you're going to wake Cameron.

Lucky: No, I know Elizabeth is here.

Audrey: Well, well, she really doesn't want to see you right now.

Lucky: Would you -- would you convince her, please?

Audrey: Why don't you come back tomorrow and maybe she'll see you then, hmm?

Lucky: Audrey, I -- I'm not leaving until Elizabeth talks to me. I'm her husband.

Audrey: I'm terribly sorry, Lucky.

Lucky: Audrey -- Audrey, just let me in!

Lucky: Let me in! Elizabeth, I'm not going to give up! You have to talk to me!

Luke: Hello, sweetheart.

Lulu: Hi, Dad.

Luke: Can I come in?

Lulu: Yeah.

Luke: How you doing?

Lulu: I'm better. I'm pretty tired, though, mostly because of the craziness leading up to this. Huh. I hope you know that this family is pretty schizo.

Luke: Huh.

Lulu: They were going on for days about how the world would end if I didn't have this baby, and then I come home tonight and they were, like, nice. It was really creepy, as if they thought, "Treat her carefully. She might wig out on us."

Luke: Well, enjoy their temporary lapse of character. It won't last.

Lulu: Why?

Luke: Leopards, darling -- spots. Things are what they are. Quartermaines are greedy and manipulative, and they always will be. And you, on the other hand, are brave, bright, and beautiful, and that will never change.

Lulu: Thank you for saying all these nice things to me and for trusting me enough to let me make my own decision.

Lucky: Elizabeth? Please, just let me explain.

Elizabeth: Lucky, you have to go away.

Lucky: Now, I'm not going to -- I'm not going to hurt you. Now, just -- I don't want us to be this way, please.

Elizabeth: Lucky, I don't want to see you right now. I'm tired. I don't have the energy to do this.

Lucky: I'm sorry, Elizabeth, I just -- I just want to make it better. I messed up, but -- and I know I messed up bad. Look, if you'd just give us a chance, we can -- we can fix it. We -- we made a promise that we'd always listen to each other. When we got married, we swore in our vows. You have to live up to your promise.

Audrey: Uh --

Lucky: Elizabeth?

Audrey: Would you like me to --

Elizabeth: I can handle this. Lucky, don't do this. You're going to scare Cameron.

Lucky: I -- I love him. I'm his father.

[Music plays]

Elizabeth: Please just go away, Lucky.

Lucky: I'm going to quit, I swear. I'm going to quit tomorrow, I promise.

Elizabeth: Oh, really? Tomorrow?

Lucky: Yeah. I'm going to quit. It's going to be a -- a new day and a fresh start.

Elizabeth: Yeah, tomorrow because you couldn't quit yesterday or even today.

Lucky: But I -- I swear it's the truth.

Elizabeth: That's what addicts say, Lucky.

Singer: Softly

Elizabeth: You quit when you want to quit, when there's no more pressure or when life gets easier, but you know what? Life doesn't get easier!

Lucky: No.

Elizabeth: And I don't -- I can't -- I can't watch you hurt us anymore, Lucky. Our marriage is over.

Lucky: No, I know -- I know you still love me.

Singer: You and me

Lucky: I know you do.

Elizabeth: But I -- but I can't be with you.

Singer: You know I'd cross

Elizabeth: I don't want you near us.

Singer: And I think you would go that far but there's nowhere else

Lucky: Elizabeth?

Singer: I'd rather be right now

Elizabeth: Please, Lucky, just go away!

Singer: Than where you are

Lucky: Oh, God.

Sam: Ric likes to tell himself that underneath all this animosity, you're still brothers, you're still connected by blood, that somehow that should mean something to you.

Sonny: Not enough to let him wreck me and my family.

Sam: Of course not. I know, but by revealing tonight how you really feel, Sonny, first that he's your enemy and then threatening his life, he has got nothing left to defend. He knows that he's never going to get your love or approval. He's going to want revenge.

Sonny: I'm not afraid of my brother.

Sam: Well, you know what? Maybe you should be. Your brother is your worst enemy! He is now the acting D.A. He wants to hurt you and Jason.

Sonny: Okay, you know what, Sam? Jason still cares about you. For that reason, I want to do what's best. But you do not get to stand there and -- and lecture me on how wrong I handled Ric. If you didn't take your clothes off, then --

Sam: Don't you think I know that?

Sonny: Well --

Sam: Don't you think I would take that back if I could?

Sonny: All I -- all I want to do is keep Kristina safe -- and Molly, for that matter. I know she's Ric's daughter, but, you know, she's innocent in all this. I want to keep you and Alexis safe because their well-being is in your hands. Ric's going to go after you to get to Jason. All I'm saying to you is you have to keep your eye on Ric, and you back away from him, and you better hope that your mother lives. That way, you know, maybe one day this whole thing can be forgotten.

Ric: Monica?

Monica: Huh?

Ric: Can I speak to you a minute?

Monica: Oh, hi.

Ric: Look, I just came from Alexis' room.

Monica: Uh-huh.

Ric: What's the status of my wife?

Monica: Well, all I know is that she is still in a coma and she's been pumped full of antibiotics, and that's basically all we can do.

Ric: Okay, so there's no way of knowing when you can bring her out of the coma?

Monica: It has to run its course, Ric.

Ric: I need to know if my wife is going to die.

Monica: If I were God, maybe I could answer that, but I'm not and I'm not even her doctor of record. Look, I know that the coma that she is in right now is her best shot at beating this strain of pneumonia.

Ric: Yeah, I know. Dr. Trent said that the longer that she stays in the coma, though, that there's no way of knowing when she's going to come out of it.

Monica: Yes, that's true, too. It's a double-edged sword. I'm sorry, Ric.

Ric: No, that's okay.

Monica: You've just got to be patient. I'm sorry, excuse me.

Ric: Thank you. Oh.

Lorenzo: Believe it or not, I don't like meeting in hospitals because they're not very private.

Ric: Well, I don't have much choice in the matter because I need to be close to Alexis.

Lorenzo: Ah, yes, Alexis. All right. So what's so important that it couldn't wait?

Ric: I don't think we should wait any longer. I think we should move against Sonny -- now.

Lorenzo: You ready to kill your own brother?

Maxie: I saw Elizabeth at the hospital. Why did Nikolas take her there?

Lucky: He overreacted. They both did. She fell while we were arguing. It was an accident. She wasn't even hurt.

Maxie: You know Elizabeth was just looking for a reason to leave you, and now she has one, even if she had to make it up.

Lucky: Not tonight, Maxie.

Maxie: I understand. We could -- we could just hang out. I mean, that's what's so great about it now. We don't have to worry about being caught or being judged. We could just be together.

Lucky: I had the worst night, Max.

Maxie: I know. And I want to help you, but I need to know that I'm here because you want me to be. I have to know that you care about me, Lucky.

Elizabeth: Hi. This is Elizabeth Spencer. You recently drew up some divorce papers for me, and I had mentioned that I might have issue with paying it all upfront. I would like to -- I would like to know if we could do some sort of payment plan so we can go ahead with dissolving this marriage.

Sam: Kristina -- she's sound asleep.

Sonny: I'll leave her here tonight.

Sam: Okay. I'm going to take care of her, okay?

Sonny: I hope so.

Sam: What, Sonny, I make one lousy choice and this is what I get from you?

Sonny: Bad choices -- I mean, I've made -- you know how many I've made. But you know what? I just don't feel comfortable leaving her here tonight.

Sam: Look, I understand that, but we're going to have to do better than this, okay? Look, I pray every single night and day that Alexis makes it through this and she gets better because, if not, those girls are going to need me. I just -- I am trying to raise them the way Alexis would want. That's it.

Sonny: That means avoiding Jason?

Sam: I don't know. I don't know what it means. But what I do know is Jason finally admitted that he didn't want to lose me -- it's all I ever wanted.

Sonny: All right.

Sam: Sonny, I'm not allowed to have it.

Ric: I think if we could get Jason out of the picture, then Sonny will follow.

Lorenzo: Well, Jason's in South America, so this might be the best time to move against him. And then it leaves Sonny essentially unprotected, Ric.

Ric: Well, then we should do whatever it takes to make that happen. Once Jason's dead, then Sonny will no longer have muscle to back him up. We'll all be better off.

Lulu: Did you see Mom?

Luke: Yeah.

Lulu: Did you tell her that I was having an abortion?

Luke: Yes.

Lulu: Did she -- I was going to ask if she had a reaction, but I already know the answer. She didn't. She can't. Oh, it's so stupid, but I keep hoping that one day she'll come back and that one day -- huh. It's pointless, right?

Luke: There's always a chance.

Lulu: A chance that she'll tell me that I'm not a horrible person? A chance that she'll say what I did was okay and that she still loves me?

Luke: Lesley Lu, listen to me now. Listen. Your mother loves you. She will always love you, no matter where she is or what you do. Her love for you -- it never ends. Do you hear me?

Lulu: My mother might as well be dead. It would be easier than this.

[Phone rings]

Robin: Hello?

Luke: It's Luke Spencer.

Robin: Hi, Luke. What can I do for you?

Luke: That treatment that you told me about for Laura -- I want to talk to you about it.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Georgie: You just lost a baby. It's okay to be upset.

Carly: Alexis would understand if you took a break, and this is really important. It's about us.
