Emily: Call 911.

Colleen: Right away.

Nikolas: Okay, okay. Is he breathing?

Emily: No. Has Alfred ever mentioned problems with his heart?

Nikolas: No, no, not to me.

Emily: He could be in cardiac arrest.

Nikolas: He was fine just now. What could've brought this on?

Elizabeth: I'm not interested in anything you have to say.

Maxie: I wouldn't be so sure.

Elizabeth: I already know more than I ever wanted to. You helped my husband by enabling his drug habit and then you took him to bed. Well, it's over now, so why don't you accept that with a little dignity, find something productive to do with your life, and stay the hell out of my face?

Maxie: You think you know everything, and I'm saying maybe you don't.

[Music plays]

Carly: Well, you know, you must be losing your touch because I am monumentally unmoved.

Jax: Really?

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Jax: Well, I'll have to work on that, won't I? What do you say you and I get out of this place? I'm sure after that little encounter with Mayor Floyd, you won't mind.

Carly: I'm not going to bed with you. Not going to bed with you.

Jax: You know, for someone who's so immune to my charm, you certainly have sex on the forefront of your mind.

Carly: Hold that thought.

Jax: Oh. Hold that thought. Hold that thought.

Sam: I mean it, Ric. One more excuse to put your hands on me, one more disgusting suggestion that I actually enjoyed --

Ric: Oh, you want to rewrite history?

Sam: What happened that night?

Ric: I remember our encounter very well. Your body had no problem responding to mine.

Sam: Oh, you want to push me, huh?

Ric: How are you going to explain all this damage you're going to do to me to Alexis?

Sam: Oh, explaining it is easy. I will say that I was grabbed from behind by a man and I picked up a knife. When I turned around, surprise. It was you.

Ric: That's going to go a long way to help Alexis recovering from her cancer.

Carly: You probably don't want to slice him. You got a lot going on right now. Me, on the other hand, I'm certifiably crazy, and really good at dodging bullets.

Sonny: Why would you think it's a good idea to send Sam and Ric off together?

Alexis: I'm encouraging them.

Sonny: To do what?

Alexis: To get along.

Sonny: Sam and Ric are never going to be best friends.

Alexis: I don't see why not.

Sonny: Well -- okay. One reason -- Ric hates Jason more than anything in the world and you know how Sam feels about Jason.

Alexis: Jason may not be a factor in Sam's life anymore. Besides, Sam and Ric have more in common than you may think.

[Sonny sighs]

Alexis: The girls -- they are willing to put aside their differences to provide the stability for Kristina and Molly, and as long as I'm in this hospital and in this condition, a truce between the two of them is what's best for my family.

Sonny: If you really believe that, it's time you faced some ugly truths.

Alexis: Ugly truths? I have cancer and it's spreading. How many more ugly truths do I have to hear?

[Alexis sighs]

Sonny: Sam may have agreed to stay away from Jason, but it doesn't change the fact that Ric hates Jason way deep down inside where it turns into something twisted. You put those two together and you're getting a lot more than you bargained for.

Alexis: I know you're trying to help.

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: I really do, but you aren't. I have two little girls, one of which is yours. You, Ric, and Sam are the center of their lives, so as long as I'm in this hospital, I need you all to cut the crap and get along.

Sonny: Why do you even talk like that?

Alexis: Because I'm being realistic. I am really sick, so I need you to all put your personal feelings aside so that Kristina and Molly don't suffer.

Sonny: What if you die?

Alexis: Oh.

Sonny: No, listen. And this family unit you've been -- you've been working so hard to put together explodes because of all the pretense and comes crashing down on everybody's head? Listen -- listen to me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you.

Alexis: Ahem. Too late. Ah.

Carly: What happened to that smirk on your face? This knife starting to feel like a threat?

Ric: Why don't you do something different for a change, Carly, and mind your own business.

Carly: I'm going to make this my business. And I'm going to make it everybody's business in there if you don't walk away. I will make a scene so big that every press hound will think they died and went to page-one heaven. And then you'll have a lot of explaining to do -- to your wife, your kids, your boss.

Ric: You know I could have you arrested for threatening the D.A.

Carly: Go ahead.

Ric: We can talk this out in private.

Carly: You okay?

Sam: Thank you for the save.

Carly: What happened?

Sam: I'm sorry, I overreacted. Ric said something about Jason and I just -- my nerves are shot right now because of my mom and everything that's going on.

Carly: I get that, but that doesn't stop Ric from trying to jump your bones again.

Maxie: You look down your nose at me all smug and superior. Well, try this on for size. I might just know your husband better than you do.

Elizabeth: You know what? It's not working. I wouldn't believe you if you told me the sky was blue, so why don't you quit throwing yourself at Lucky and causing trouble between the two of us or --

Maxie: Or what? You're going to tell Mac, get Lucky fired? Announce to the world your husband had to come to me because you're a self-absorbed, frigid bitch?

Lucky: You know what -- shut up! You want to come at somebody because you didn't get what you want, come at me.

Maxie: Lucky --

Lucky: I said that's enough. We're done, over. I want you to leave, now. Go away and let me clean up the mess.

Maxie: Don't make the mistake of thinking I'm going to forget about this.

Lucky: I'm --

Luke: So are you solid on this? All your doubts wrapped up, no second thoughts?

Lulu: Yeah, I'm sure.

Luke: That's good enough for me. So what do you need? Do you want me to stick around and talk, you want me to make myself scarce? Why -- why don't I get you out of here so you don't have to deal with this screaming pack of Looney Tunes?

Lulu: No. Um -- Dillon's the father. He deserves to know.

Dillon: Know what?

Edward: Where have you been?

Luke: My daughter doesn't answer to you, Pops.

Lulu: It's okay. Ahem. I -- I went to go see my mother.

Dillon: Did it help?

Lulu: I suppose. I've made my decision.

Edward: Mm-hmm, and I'm sure it's the right one.

Lulu: Well, I didn't take it lightly and I hope that you both know that.

Dillon: Lulu, what are you going to do?

Lulu: I'm going to terminate this pregnancy.

Dillon: You selfish bitch.

Luke: Back off, pal. Your mouth is writing checks your butt can't cash.

Edward: This is all your fault. Lulu was ready to have this baby and give custody to Dillon, and you showed up and you have twisted this little girl's mind into your way of thinking!

Lulu: Get off my dad. This is my choice and nobody else's.

Dillon: How can you be so selfish, Lulu?

Lulu: "Selfish"? This baby is in me! It's going to -- I'm going to have to carry it for --

Dillon: "For nine months"? "For nine months"? Yeah, I've heard it. Poor you, poor you. You know, this is -- I -- I shouldn't be surprised because this is how this whole thing started in the first place. You wanted me, Georgie or not, whether I was in love with somebody else or married with somebody else or not. You didn't care about my feelings, you cared about Georgie's even less, and you didn't care who your lies wrecked, did you? And now, rather than be inconvenienced for nine months or -- or, God forbid, gain a little bit of weight, you'd rather sacrifice a human life.

Lulu: That's completely unfair.

Dillon: Don't you talk to me about fair!

Luke: You've made your case, she made her point. It's over.

Dillon: What is this about, Lulu? Is this about Georgie? Is this about me not being in love with you? Huh? Maybe it's about getting what you never had and always wanted -- Daddy's attention.

Lucky: I realize that this is starting to get old, but there's no other way to say it. I'm sorry. Getting involved with Maxie was really stupid.

Elizabeth: Well, it would've been a lot easier if you hadn't.

Lucky: Don't -- don't blame her. None of this is her fault.

Elizabeth: Quit defending her.

Lucky: She just needs someone to see her as special.

Elizabeth: So, what, this is your new job?

Lucky: You know the shape that I was in. I'm not making any excuses. All I am saying is that Maxie and I collided at a needy time for both of us.

Elizabeth: Well, we've both made our mistakes.

Lucky: The difference is I'm -- they're not the same ones over and over again. I'm not doing as well as you'd like me to be.

Elizabeth: God, Lucky, just do as well as you need. Quit living up to my standards. I have no right to set them. I am not a saint.

Lucky: How could you say that?

[Phone rings]

Lucky: I got to take this. Detective Spencer.

Edward: Get over here fast. Your father's talked your sister into having an abortion.

Sam: What do you know about me and Ric?

Carly: I know you had sex.

Sam: How?

Carly: I'm Jason's best friend. I figured it out. I'm smart, Sam.

Sam: Oh -- oh. So I guess our low opinion of me has been officially confirmed. I have proven without a doubt I'm not worthy of Jason.

Carly: You know, you don't know me as well as you think. I, probably better than anyone, know the impulse to blow your life up when you feel like hell. I mean, you're hurt. Jason pushed you away. Your mother pressured you, she tried to control you, you were vulnerable, and Ric -- the snake, true to form, took advantage of you.

Sam: So you do get it?

Carly: I do get it. And can I please give you a piece of advice?

Sam: Yeah.

Carly: As long as you and Ric share this explosive secret, he's got the upper hand, and he's going to use it.

Sam: I know, I know, and I hate it. Come on, I want to tell my mother. I can't, she is sick. You have to promise me -- Carly, promise me you're not going to say anything, please?

Carly: I'm not going to say anything, okay? I promise you that. I just thought you could use an ally. Look, you're not in the position to be choosy.

Sam: We have to get through this party no matter how awful it is.

Ric: It's not so bad.

Sam: Ugh. You know, it figures you would like it. I just -- I want to know how many pictures we have to take with the mayor to get us out of here.

Ric: Let's find out.

Jax: Everything okay with Sam?

Carly: Yeah, yeah, she's going to be fine.

Jax: Is she worried about Alexis?

Carly: Partly.

Jax: Well, you're awfully stingy with words. Maybe I can persuade you to be a little bit more verbal.

Carly: I'm not having sex with you.

Jax: Oh, there is that one-track mind.

Carly: Hold that thought, okay? Just -- your timing couldn't be better. How would you like to skin a skunk?

Colleen: What's happening? Please tell me Alfred's okay.

Nikolas: He's been Medevac'd to G.H. Emily and I are heading there now.

Colleen: I'll watch Spencer. Please, keep me posted.

Nikolas: Absolutely.

Colleen: I cleaned up. I -- I didn't know what else to do. He'll be all right, won't he?

Emily: It's still touch-and-go, but Alfred stabilized, so that's good news.

Colleen: Thanks for the update.

Lulu: Do you think that saying horrible things to me is going to make me want to have this baby?

Dillon: It's worth a shot, Lulu. I tried everything else.

Edward: We can always get a court injunction.

Luke: Her telling you about her decision was a courtesy, Edward, not an invitation for another round of abuse. You try to interfere with her wishes in any way, and I'll take her out of the country for the procedure.

Lucky: Oh, that's nice, Dad! Why don't you go find a backroom with a guy and a coat hanger?

Elizabeth: Lucky!

Lucky: Of all the times that Lulu's needed you, you pick now? What the hell is wrong with you?

Edward: You need to ask? Luke, if you cared anything about Lulu's future, you would let her have this child and turn it over to a real family.

Luke: This isn't a family! It's a pack of wolves with pricey kibble.

Dillon: Yeah, well, one of us happens to be that dead baby's father.

Luke: Look, my daughter made this decision after a very painful struggle. This was not easy for her, and from what I see, she's made the right decision. Avoiding another fanged whelp in this litter is a good idea!

Elizabeth: Okay, Lulu, you don't need to hear any of this. Come on, come with me. This argument's going nowhere. It's just -- it's just going to get really loud.

Lulu: Are you okay?

Elizabeth: Yeah. Lucky drove like a maniac on the way over, I'm just still feeling the curves. Honey, tell me, are you sure about having an abortion?

Lulu: Well, aside from everything else, the guy who got me pregnant is in love with someone else. What would you do if you were in my situation?

Jax: How you doing?

Sam: Hey. I don't know. One of the biggest regrets of my life was coming here tonight.

Jax: Why'd you come?

Sam: I don't know -- guilt, I suppose. My mother's in the hospital, she is sick, she's facing chemo. It's a simple request for me to come here. It's the least I could do.

Jax: Well, you came, you've been seen. No rule says you have to stick around.

Sam: I know and I would love to get out of here, but I am tangled up in -- obligations.

Jax: Sounds very cryptic.

Ric: Excuse me. Uh -- Sam, the mayor would like to take a few pictures with us.

Sam: Whatever.

Jax: See you.

[Shutter clicks]

Carly: Look at that pig. His wife is dying, and he's here sucking up to the press and groping Sam -- unbelievable.

Sonny: Well, she probably feels she can't do anything about it.

Carly: Yeah? That's where we come in.

Mayor Floyd: Can I grab a moment alone with Ric? Business.

Sam: Yeah. Sure. Take your time.

Mayor Floyd: Thank you. This might be too delicate a matter to bring up in front of Alexis' daughter.

Ric: My interest is piqued.

Mayor Floyd: Look, there is no guarantee how long Alexis is going to be out of commission, or if she'll ever be healthy enough again to resume her position.

Ric: Yeah, I understand. You can count on me for whatever you need.

Mayor Floyd: I'm glad to hear that. An alliance between us could be mutually beneficial.

Ric: Thank you.

Sonny: Hey, little brother. How's it going? Mayor Floyd, man of the hour, it's really great that you put my brother in a position of trust. The D.A. finally got the right people in place. Ain't that right?

[Ric chuckles]

Sonny: You want to take some pictures with me? Come on, little brother.

Ric: Nah.

Sonny: Yeah.

Emily: Too late for a visitor?

Alexis: Not if it's you. You're a little overly dressed for an after-hour visit.

Emily: Nikolas and I were going to the mayor's cocktail party, but Alfred suffered some kind of attack. We think it might be his heart; we're not sure. But we were here waiting, so we thought that we'd check up on you.

Alexis: I still haven't got past the part of you and Nikolas going to a party.

Emily: Uh -- it's not the way you think.

Alexis: Well, how is it?

Emily: Complicated. But I brought you something that's simple.

Alexis: Ah. Chocolate chip cookies.

Emily: I thought they'd be right on time.

Alexis: Bless you. Do you want one?

Emily: No, no, you go ahead. Enjoy.

[Emily laughs]

Alexis: Mmm. How is Spencer?

Emily: Spencer is perfect, and Nikolas is really starting to grow into his father role.

Alexis: I'm sorry I'm missing that. That happens a lot lately -- weighing regret.

Emily: Why don't you start looking at the changes you're going to make when you get well instead?

Alexis: It's that easy, huh?

Emily: No, not at all. I had my own experience with cancer. Remember, I know what it feels like to -- to feel like hell and -- and use all of your energy trying to reassure everybody that you're going to be okay.

Alexis: How did you handle it, the cancer?

Emily: When I first found out, I did everything wrong. I lied to the people who loved me, I kept my diagnosis a secret, and then I got angry instead of getting the help that I needed. I shouldn't have made it. I honestly don't think that I would be here if it hadn't --

Alexis: Hadn't what?

Emily: No, medical treatment helped, of course, definitely. But in the end, I honestly believe that I'm alive today because of Nikolas.

Emily: I was almost out of here. I saw the white lights and everything. But my connection with Nikolas was so strong that it literally brought me back.

Alexis: That's pretty profound, you know -- I mean, to have a love that is as strong as that. Now, I know that you guys have had some obstacles, but since he's free and -- and you're free, maybe you could, you know, give it a shot.

Emily: Okay, I still have some things to get past.

Alexis: Yeah, I know. So what do I know? I'm just a woman with cancer who would like to see the people that she loves --

Emily: Oh, you're incorrigible. You're trying to manipulate me from your hospital bed.

Alexis: That was really shameless, wasn't it, to use the gratuitous cancer thing already? Seriously. I mean, if you love him so much, that you could be on the brink of something like this, and just thinking about him can make you want --

Nikolas: Hello.

Emily: Okay, zip it.

Nikolas: How you feeling?

Alexis: Not bad. Your cufflink's loose.

Emily: What? Again?

Nikolas: Oh, yeah.

Emily: Here, let me fix it.

Nikolas: Thanks.

Alexis: Emily was just giving me her personal insight on the healing power of love.

Nikolas: Oh.

Emily: Yeah, and a positive attitude helps, too, of course. Um -- Nikolas --

Nikolas: It's fine.

Emily: This is hopeless.

Nikolas: Don't worry about it. Thanks.

Emily: Is there any word on Alfred?

Nikolas: Oh. Well, they're going to keep him here overnight. There's -- there's nothing more we can do here. But we can stay here and hang out with you.

Alexis: Actually, I'm really tired. I think you two should go to the party together and have a good time.

Nikolas: I think it's probably breaking up by now, right?

Emily: Yeah, I think I'm kind of ready to call it a night.

Nikolas: Okay. I'll take you home.

Emily: Okay.

Nikolas: Bye.

Alexis: You look very dapper.

Nikolas: Thank you.

[Emily laughs]

Emily: I'll -- I'll be right there, okay?

Nikolas: Okay.

Emily: Hey, Alexis, you know, for what it's worth, the thing about cancer is you can't control it, so you start looking for what you can control -- you know, situations, other people -- which is fine if it helps you cope. But what I learned is that if you can be honest about what you're feeling and why, it makes it so much easier on everyone, especially you. Bye.

Sonny: I just -- I want to just say that I'm very proud of my brother for the way he stepped up and took control. Now we can all concentrate on making Port Charles a better and safer place.

Mayor Floyd: Excuse us, please, just for a moment. No more photos of glad-handling that mobster you call a brother. End this now before Corinthos buries us both.

Ric: Excuse me. Uh -- I just would like to say that I agree with Mr. Corinthos, that -- for a vision of a better and safer Port Charles. But I'm afraid that's where we part company. See, this city has been plagued by a criminal element that needs to be eradicated. I intend to make that happen.

Carly: Well, that ought to keep Ric busy a while with damage control.

Jax: Hey, you mind if I steal her?

Sam: No. Go ahead.

Jax: Oh, thanks. This evening is getting more interesting by the minute. You know, Sonny, who usually avoids media like the plague, is taking photos with his brother. How'd that happen?

Carly: Doing a favor for a friend.

Jax: Really?

Carly: I can't say anything else, but you have to trust me, okay? But I have to tell you, Sonny still knows how to hit people where it hurts.

Lulu: When the Quartermaines were badgering me to have this baby I felt like I didn't exist, like the only thing that mattered was what was inside of me. And now that I've decided to have an abortion, all of a sudden I'm so visible, like I might as well be wearing a neon target. It's always one extreme or the other, when all I wanted is --

Elizabeth: To be consistently loved, and to feel like the most important person in the world?

Lulu: Yes. And if I've ever had that, then I don't remember what it feels like, and I probably can't pass it on to somebody else. I don't want to have a baby, and if that means that I am selfish like Dillon says, then I'm going to have to live with it.

Elizabeth: Well, it sounds like you've come to terms with your decision.

Lulu: I'm doing what's best for myself, no matter what anyone else thinks.

Lucky: You gave Lulu no emotional support. Now you're trying to -- to make up for your miserable failure by agreeing with the worst decision she's ever made?

Luke: It must be wonderful to be so right and so righteous all the time. I mean, you know everything about everything, don't you? I wonder why you didn't know Dillon was doing your little sister.

Lucky: Oh. That's a good one, Dad -- just deflect the blame.

Luke: Blame is for children and politicians. Grow up, Lucky.

Lucky: Thank God Mom is not here right now. She would just hate you and Lulu both for what you're doing.

Lulu: Lucky, stop it!

Lulu: That's an awful thing to say.

Lucky: It's the truth.

Edward: You know, Lulu, no one loved children more than your mother. I can still remember her to this day taking such loving care of those unfortunate little babies at the Ward house.

[Lulu groans]

Dillon: You know what? I bet your mother would want you to have the baby.

Lulu: How the hell would you know? You never even met my mother! If you want to have a baby so badly, go out and have one with Georgie!

Luke: Come on, let's get out of here.

Lucky: No one is going anywhere! Lulu is not leaving until this is settled!

Lulu: Oh --

Luke: This is absolutely none of your business. If it's settled for Lulu, it's settled for you, for me, and for everybody else!

Nikolas: Hey, what -- what's going on here?

Lulu: I've decided to have an abortion! So go ahead, chime your voice in like everyone else and tell me what a selfish --

Luke: She's had enough opinions already!

Nikolas: Well, I have one to offer anyway. If this is the choice you've made, and you're sure of it, then I'm behind you 100%.

Lucky: Has everybody gone insane? The two of you --

Nikolas: Lucky --

Lucky: Stand here claiming to love Lulu -- and you want her to have an abortion?

Nikolas: Listen, you're not helping.

Lucky: What, and you think you are?

Nikolas: Don't you think you have enough on your plate right now? Why don't you take your wife home and let Luke and I deal with this?

Lucky: You know what? The hell with you. And you, too!

Elizabeth: Lucky --

Emily: Nikolas, you take of Elizabeth, and I'll stay here for Lulu.

Nikolas: Okay.

Emily: Good.

Luke: Are you all right? You look a little green.

Lulu: I am, all over.

Luke: All right, everybody out.

Edward: Look, I am tired of you telling me to get out of my own house.

Luke: She doesn't feel well!

Edward: Then let her rest --

Lulu: God, everybody, shut up!

Luke: Oh -- sweetheart --

Luke: Get me some water.

Carly: Nice job. Ric didn't know what hit him, and I think Sam's actually smiling.

Sonny: Why are you suddenly so invested in Sam smiling?

Carly: Because I'm just trying to be nice.

Sonny: Ah.

Carly: I can be a friend, you know.

Sonny: You can also be a loose cannon. Be right back.

Sam: If I don't get out of here, I think I just might actually scream.

Ric: It's okay, we're done. We'll go see Alexis and then I'll take you home. Let's go say good night to our host. Come on, don't make a scene now.

Sonny: Hey, you know what? Excuse me, I'm sorry. Max is waiting in the car. Go ahead and tell him that I'm going to give you a ride home.

Sam: Thank you.

Ric: What was that all about?

Sonny: Well, I'm just looking out for you. I don't -- you know, I don't want you to make a bad situation worse.

Ric: Oh, I'm supposed to believe that you care.

Sonny: About you, not really. But I do care about Sam and Alexis, and if you don't rein it in, I'm going to have to do it for you.

Ric: Did I just hear you threaten the D.A.?

Sonny: What are you going to do about it? Just like I thought.

Carly: What are you doing?

Jax: Just catching up.

Carly: You're not supposed to look at any of that unless I'm present.

Jax: Okay. I'd rather focus on you anyway. Did you have fun with Sonny tonight?

Carly: Jealous?

Jax: No.

Carly: Since when?

Jax: Look, you and Sonny are connected, you know, by your children, by your past, but you're not connected like you and I are connected. That's what makes it easier to accept. It's almost fun watching you operate tonight.

Carly: What's the angle?

Jax: No angle. It's my job to make you trust me the way I trust you.

Carly: What's that?

Jax: Open it.

Carly: You don't have to bribe me. You just need to wait around so I can believe that you're in this for the long haul. But presents don't hurt, you know.

Jax: It comes with a condition.

Elizabeth: You're still awake? Lay down, it's night-night time, okay? I just wanted to come in and give you kisses before you went to sleep. Grammy said you were really good today. That makes me very happy. It says we're doing something right in the middle of all this chaos. I just hope it sticks, because I've got a really big secret. I know you're not going to understand this, but Mommy's pregnant. You're going to have a little brother or a little sister one day. The thing is, I don't know if the daddy is Lucky or Jason. Jason's a really good person, but I can't be with him because it's just not safe. And Lucky -- I don't think it's safe to be with him, either, if he lets his addiction ruin his life. I know I'm supposed to have more faith in him. I wish I was a more trusting person, but it just seems like I'm all out when it comes to me and Lucky.

Maxie: You know, I don't know why I even bother to show up. You're just all talk.

Lucky: Like I said on the phone, I owe you an apology.

Maxie: That must mean you need more pills.

Lucky: I will leave Elizabeth -- on my timetable. I won't throw you in her face, and, yes, I need pills. Lulu is completely out of control right now.

Maxie: Well, maybe Lulu doesn't want your help.

Lucky: Would you just give me the damn pills?

Maxie: Excuse me?

Lucky: Okay -- don't you trust me anymore?

Maxie: There.

Lucky: What, is this it?

Maxie: Yeah. That should last you the next 24 hours, and you can meet me in our room at Kelly's where I'll give you more -- after you sleep with me.

Colleen: So his condition is stable but he won't be released for a while? Okay, thanks. How's Alfred?

Nikolas: Not sure yet.

Colleen: That poor man. He's been so kind to me.

Nikolas: I know, I know.

Colleen: It would be awful --

Nikolas: I know, it's okay.

Colleen: I'm -- I'm sorry.

Nikolas: No, no, it's been an emotional evening for everyone.

Colleen: I'm -- I'm going to go check on Spencer.

Nikolas: Okay.

Colleen: Come with me?

Nikolas: Uh -- no, you go ahead. I'll be there in a minute.

Lulu: Thank you for sticking around. I don't know if I could've fended them off by myself.

Luke: Yes, you could. Face of flowers, will of steel -- that's my daughter.

Lulu: Um -- I know that ending this pregnancy is right for me, but I'm kind of scared. Would you --

Luke: Stay? Absolutely, baby. I'm here, I ain't going anywhere. I will walk you through this every step of the way.

[Music plays]

Carly: It's beautiful.

Jax: Thanks.

Carly: And there's a condition?

Jax: Yeah -- you have to give it back. Well, you said that you didn't trust me with your heart, so I want you to keep this, keep it in a safe place, guard it. And then when you're ready to open up to me again, you have to give it back -- so that I could put in on you.

Singer: I still dream

Jax: Deal?

Carly: Deal.

Singer: Just let go

Jax: Okay.

Singer: I can't I'm lost without you

Ric: Hmm, somebody's been cheating.

Alexis: Is that a confession?

Ric: I don't think that chocolate chip cookies are on the list of prescriptions, hmm?

Alexis: Emily brought them.

Ric: Yeah.

Alexis: Where's Sam?

Ric: She was tired. She decided to go home to the girls.

Alexis: Thank you for bringing her to the party. Was it fun?

Ric: It was successful. That is, until Sonny decided to show up and crash the whole thing and make it look like I was placed in as D.A. to work the system in his benefit.

Alexis: And why would he do something like that?

Sam: I am grateful for what you did tonight, but I'm also really nervous. Carly swears that she's not going to say anything about what happened with me and Ric, but you know what? She's not really known for her ability to keep a secret, and if Alexis finds out -- Sonny, she could give up.

Sonny: Alexis is stronger than you think. And I don't want to, you know, add to your worries, but do not make the mistake of underestimating Ric's ambition.

Sam: Sonny, I am sensing a change in him, like he's gotten bolder, like he doesn't care if Alexis finds out the truth. And I thought -- I thought I could handle it, I thought I could handle him, but I don't --

Sonny: Okay, forget Ric. I will back my brother off once and for all.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Carly: You sell my hotel out from under me.

Jax: Our hotel.

Carly: Suddenly we're an "us"?

Alexis: What happened at the cocktail party last night?

Sam: Forget Ric.

Alexis: I need Kristina and Molly to have stability. I need you all to get along.

Sonny: You're using Alexis' illness to manipulate Sam. You stay away from her.
