Anna: Mr. Alcazar? How fortuitous.
Anna: Is that your phone?
Lorenzo: Yes, it is. Where'd you find it?
Anna: Well, you dropped it yesterday when we bumped into each other and I had the same model and I picked it up by accident.
Lorenzo: Hmm. I don't believe in accidents.
Lucky: Hey, Elizabeth. What are you doing next Friday, the 14th?
Elizabeth: I don't know. What did you have in mind?
Lucky: Oh, a ceremony where your husband's getting a medal of commendation and a promotion to detective.
Elizabeth: Oh, hey, that's so wonderful!
Lucky: Yeah, it's kind of a twist of fate, isn't it?
Elizabeth: What do you mean?
Lucky: Well, Manny -- he was a psycho. He caused the train crash and then killed dozens of people, kidnapped, terrorized you. And shooting him kind of made my career.
Alexis: You haven't shown this autopsy file to anyone else?
Alexis: The official report states that Lucky Spencer is the one that shot and fatally wounded Manny Ruiz. This is the only proof we have that Jason Morgan is the one that actually killed him.
Alexis: We found the body. Manny killed her and left a message.
Sam: Hey, hey, hey. It's okay. It's okay, I'm right here. Everything's going to be all right. Just relax.
Lorenzo: I believe that things happen for a reason. People cross paths; opportunities present themselves.
Anna: Yeah. And you either act on them or you ignore them.
Lorenzo: Well, this particular opportunity would be difficult to ignore.
Anna: Hmm. Oh. Thank you. You didn't have to buy me a drink just for returning your phone.
Lorenzo: My way of saying thank you.
Anna: That's it? Nothing more?
Lorenzo: Always so suspicious?
Anna: Yeah. It's an old habit.
Lorenzo: Well, I'm sure it's essential in your line of work.
Anna: Did we discuss my job?
Lorenzo: Well, remember I said I'd heard your name?
Lorenzo: Piqued my interest. Did a web search.
Lorenzo: It's funny -- there wasn't much information on you, and what there was involved espionage --
Lorenzo: And undercover work. You've led an adventurous life, Miss Devane.
Anna: Oh, yeah. You, too. I did my own little web search on you, and it seems that your background is just as adventurous and mysterious as mine.
Lorenzo: You must be referring to my family business.
Anna: Yeah. From what I read, the Alcazars are quite nefarious.
Lorenzo: Are you still involved with the espionage business?
Anna: Oh, no. No, I haven't done that for years. Do I look like I do? No -- I was involved in a boating accident, kind of, and it nearly killed me, so --
Lorenzo: Hmm, I'm sorry to hear that. So, what do you do now?
Anna: I work for an international relief organization.
Lorenzo: With business in Port Charles?
Anna: No. I told you, my daughter lives here.
Anna: I missed a lot of her growing up, so I'm trying to make up for lost time. Yeah. There you have it. My life's very ordinary.
Lorenzo: Hmm. I find that hard to believe.
Anna: You always so suspicious?
Lorenzo: Well, you know the saying -- "Leopard can't change its spots."
Anna: Oh. Um -- what I believe is that you kind of live your life in stages -- you know, almost like turning a page to a new chapter. And I feel that I've done that. I've turned a page to a new chapter.
Lorenzo: That's very well-put.
Anna: Yeah? What about you? Are you still involved in your family business?
Lorenzo: No, got out a while back. Turned the page to a new chapter.
Lorenzo: If I told you about my business now, I think you'd be bored to tears and fortunately I think you will be spared the details. I have a business meeting to attend to. Thank you again for returning my cell phone.
Anna: My pleasure.
Lorenzo: No, the pleasure was mine. Seeing you was -- what was the word you used? "Fortuitous." Pleasure. Destroy this. Get me a new phone and a new number. Alert my associates of the change and you tell them to do the same, and you make sure and tell them that we have been compromised.
Robert: That's a good idea. You call the agency to check in.
Anna: What are you babbling on about?
Robert: Forget about me. You know the game -- call your superiors and tell them you've made contact with the target.
Lucky: Better get back to work.
Lucky: I love you.
Elizabeth: I love you, too, and I'm really proud of you.
Lucky: Yeah, well, how about we celebrate -- you, me, Cam, Pizza Shack?
Elizabeth: Sounds perfect.
Lucky: Dr. Drake, I heard you saved Jason Morganís life.
Patrick: Yeah. Your wife brought him in just in time.
Lucky: Yeah, Manny -- he terrorized this town for far too long. I'm glad he was stopped before he killed anyone else.
Patrick: I saw on the news you were the one that took him out. Congratulations.
Lucky: Just doing my job.
Patrick: Your back must be as good as new?
Lucky: It's doing fine. And like I told the reporters, I owe it all to my wife. Yes. I'll see you at home.
Elizabeth: Okay, bye.
Patrick: Well, it's amazing what being a hero can do for a guy.
Elizabeth: Oh. Yeah, he really needed this.
Patrick: Alexis said he's getting a promotion.
Elizabeth: They're announcing it next week.
Patrick: He's not showing any evidence of pain. He seems to be completely over his injury.
Elizabeth: That's the second time you've mentioned that. Any particular reason why?
Patrick: Well, it's just, you know, with his promotion, you'll be alone a lot more at nights and, you know --
Elizabeth: Well, you don't have to worry about me. I have my toddler to keep me company.
Patrick: Well, when your toddler goes to sleep, if you're still lonely, you know you can call me at any time.
Elizabeth: Thanks. I'll make sure I get your number from Robin.
Patrick: Robin and I are over.
Elizabeth: Oh, right.
Patrick: We are. We -- it was getting a little too serious for the both of us, so we both decided to back it off.
Elizabeth: And now you're trying to pretend like you don't care for her with your oh-so-subtle and frankly laughable come-ons?
Elizabeth: Well, I'm sorry, Dr. Drake. You're going to have to use somebody else to make Robin jealous.
Alexis: Seal it. Bury it and don't make any copies. I don't want anyone to know what happened to Manny.
Man: You got it.
Alexis: Can I trust you to be discreet?
Man: You wouldn't be the first.
Alexis: What do you mean?
Man: Commissioner Scorpio handled a few cases this way.
Alexis: Mac buried information?
Man: No -- Robert Scorpio. He was big on classifying evidence if it compromised someone he wanted to protect or if he thought it would hinder an investigation. Commissioner Scorpio said he'd do whatever he had to in the service of justice.
Alexis: Bury it, but don't destroy it. I may need it if things don't go as planned.
Sam: You're in the hospital. They had to operate, but you're going to be fine, okay?
Jason: Did Manny -- did Manny hurt you?
Sam: No. He didnít.
Jason: He kidnapped you; he tied you up. I'm sorry, Sam.
Sam: Jason -- it's okay. He didn't hurt me. You were the one that was hurt, okay? You got shot. The bullet -- it hit an artery. You lost a lot of blood, but you're going to be fine.
Jason: Manny's dead, right? I mean, I saw his body on the pavement.
Sam: He's dead. He's dead. It's over. It's over. The threat is gone. There is nothing keeping us --
Patrick: Oh, good. You're awake. We have to run some tests.
Elizabeth: I hope we're not interrupting anything.
Elizabeth: We are going to test for nerve damage to your arm.
Jason: I'm -- I'm okay.
Elizabeth: That's what the test will determine.
Sam: What if there is damage?
Elizabeth: In most cases, nerves regenerate, but, either way, I'm sure the doctor will prescribe some form of physical therapy.
Sam: Oh. Okay, great. I -- I'll make sure he follows instructions to the letter.
Jason: How's -- how's Lucky doing?
Elizabeth: He's a big hero at the PCPD. Mac is giving him a medal and a promotion.
Sam: Wow. You must be really proud.
Elizabeth: Yeah, I am. I'm also extremely grateful. Manny was lethal and now we're all safe.
Elizabeth: This shouldn't take very long. You and Jason will be able to go home in no time at all.
Sam: That's great.
Man: What if Officer Spencer knows he didn't kill Manny? You think he'll accept a medal for something he didn't do?
Alexis: That's why I called him in. I want to find out right now what he thinks actually happened.
Lucky: Yeah. You got it. Right.
Alexis: Hey. Thanks for coming in again.
Lucky: No problem. What do you need?
Alexis: I know we went over this last night, but I just need a statement for the record before I go to the press and you get your medal of commendation.
Lucky: Whatever I can do to help.
Alexis: Do you want to just lead me through the sequence of events one more time?
Lucky: Sure. When I -- when I got to the roof, Jason and Manny -- they were fighting. I tried to get a clear shot but couldnít. Then they managed to work their way over to the edge of the roof. Jason, he was choking Manny. Manny then pushed Jason back. I saw my chance, fired, hit Manny, and it sent him over the edge of the roof and he hit the pavement.
Alexis: Thanks, that's all I need to know. Mm-hmm.
Alan: Maxie, hi. Can I talk to you for a minute?
Maxie: I'm really busy.
Alan: No, no, no, this -- this won't take long. I want to talk to you about some missing Hydrocodone.
Kelly: Were you guys serious about the three of us getting an apartment together?
Lainey: The sooner, the better. I'm so ready for change.
Robin: Yeah, and I can feel my mom building up to ask if she can stay with me, so roommates would be ideal.
Kelly: Okay, drum roll, please.
[Lainey and Robin drum]
Kelly: Thank you. Ladies, I found the perfect place for us to live.
Lainey: That was quick.
Kelly: It's this fabulous loft with three separate bedrooms, a big kitchen, and living space. It belonged to Courtney Matthews and now her foundation is selling it.
Lainey: Oh, I'm not prepared to buy.
Kelly: Oh, not a problem. We can rent with the option to buy, so we don't have to feel committed. Who does that sound like?
Lainey: Let's go see it.
Kelly: Robin, are you in?
Robin: The place sounds great. It's just that it's a big decision. I need a little time to think about it.
Kelly: So does that mean there is still hope for you and Patrick?
Anna: What are you talking about? What target?
Robert: You know, Mr. Slick McSmarmy, the legal arms dealer, that guy that's running the cash-and-carry weapons mart. Come in, buy one, get one free.
Anna: Oh, yeah. I remember reading about him somewhere.
Robert: Do you?
Anna: Yeah. He said that he's out of the business. It's all in his past.
Robert: I will say your poker face has definitely improved.
Anna: Thank you. Could be because I'm telling the truth.
Robert: What do you suppose the agency's take on this might be?
Anna: I don't know.
Robert: You know what I think they're going to think --
Anna: What do you think?
Robert: Is that there's a double-cross about to happen, largely because of Alcazar's connection to organized crime.
Anna: Wow, just keep rambling. It's so entertaining.
Robert: You know what, cookie? This could be a tough assignment.
Anna: Yeah. If it were an assignment, which it isn't, I think I'd find it quite painless because Mr. Alcazar is very charming, but that's a moot point because I simply bumped into him by accident.
Robert: Well, don't be surprised if Alcazar finds you quite resistible.
Robert: I mean, his girlfriend is, after all, preggers with his child.
Anna: I simply had a drink with him. It was a thank-you for returning his cell phone.
Robert: Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you.
Anna: You seem to be going to great lengths to dissuade me from getting involved with Lorenzo. You're not jealous, are you?
Robert: Me? Jealous?
Anna: Well, I think it's really sweet.
Robert: Come on. I know what it's like when you're on assignment. You got to put out a little -- it's part of the job.
Anna: You're just miffed I didn't come here for you.
Robert: Who says you didn't?
Anna: Look, I thought you were so certain I'm on assignment.
Robert: Well, you pick and choose your own assignments and you picked this assignment here. Port Charles -- remember?
Anna: Yes, because Robin lives here. I'm here to spend time with her.
Robert: And if your luck holds, me, too.
Anna: You know, I'd hate to put a pin in that overblown ego of yours because there would be shrapnel everywhere. You've never changed. You're still the same self-centered adolescent you always were. I would have to be so foolish to want to get back with you.
Robert: Well, we both know you're not foolish.
Robert: And, well, perhaps infatuated, unable to dismiss the animal attraction.
Anna: I'm sorry. Am I supposed to be clinging to you adoringly, because I didn't get that memo.
Robert: Oh, come on, Annie; admit it. You're dying for a second shot at the goodies.
Anna: They weren't that good. Here's the thing -- you have a very overactive imagination.
Robert: Come here. I'm going to let you in on a little secret.
Anna: What is it?
Robert: Ahem. I am not entirely immune to your charms.
Robert: Now, you tell me what you're really doing here and what you really want --
Anna: Oh, you just won't let go of it, will you!
Robert: Of course I will. Just tell me what's going on.
Anna: You're impossible -- that's what's going on.
Robert: I'll take that as a compliment.
Anna: You just take it whatever way you want and put it wherever you want.
Robert: Yeah. Hi, this is Robert. Yeah, I -- I'd really like to talk to you.
Robin: There is no -- read my lips -- no hope for me and Patrick.
P.A. Announcer: Dr. Quartermaine, 3401.
Kelly: You guys just called it off yesterday. Another few days and you could start missing him.
Robin: That's why roommates would be ideal. You could keep me from getting too lonely.
Kelly: No, but if you do and your thoughts begin to wander towards getting back together with him, maybe it's a good idea that you keep your own place.
Robin: Are you trying to get rid of me before we even move in together?
Kelly: No, not at all. I just want you to be sure.
Robin: I am sure. Patrick and I are done, over, finished, finito.
Kelly: Then how about coming to see the apartment? It's a beautiful old building in a great location with lots of light.
Lainey: Yeah, and best of all, you won't have to come home to nothing but regrets to keep you company.
Robin: Am I that obvious?
Lainey: I'm talking about myself.
[Lainey and Robin laugh]
Kelly: Quit the pity party, ladies.
Kelly: This is about new beginnings, bright and sunny futures, believing in ourselves and all that other self-help stuff.
Lainey: Carpe diem. Seize the day.
Kelly: Our lives are about us, not the men we're with. Right?
Robin: Damn right. Time to move on.
Lainey: Amen to that.
Alan: There have been two separate thefts of Hydrocodone on this floor. Now, this is something I take very seriously. As you probably know, Hydrocodone is a very addictive and powerful pain medication.
Maxie: What can I do to help?
Alan: Well, you were one of the people working on this floor when both thefts occurred.
Maxie: Look, I didn't take any drugs, okay?
Alan: No, no, no. I -- I am not saying that you did. I'm -- I'm not accusing you. I'm just wondering if you saw anything suspicious.
Maxie: I can't think of anything.
Alan: I mean, somebody hanging around the meds room or the nurses' carts? Maybe an orderly or a patient?
Maxie: You know, nothing comes to mind, but I will give it some thought.
Alan: Okay. If you come up with anything, you let me know.
P.A. Announcer: Dr. Lainey Winters, 2501.
Elizabeth: Dr. Drake will be back in to discuss your test results with you.
Jason: Okay, thank you.
Elizabeth: Take it easy, okay? I'll check on you later.
Alexis: Sorry. Thank you. I'm glad you're feeling better, Jason.
Jason: What do you want?
Alexis: I got the autopsy report back on Manny. I'm sure you heard that Lucky is being hailed as a hero for killing him. He's getting a medal as well as a promotion. Unfortunately, Manny didn't have a bullet wound.
Jason: Lucky fired his gun. I was there, I saw him.
Alexis: Well, he may have fired it, but he missed. So the impact of the bullet couldn't have pushed Manny over the edge like Lucky thought. The fact is, is that Lucky didn't kill Manny, Jason -- you did.
Robin: Hey. What are you doing here?
Robert: I'm meeting someone.
Robin: Oh. Mom?
Rort: Skye Quartermaine, actually.
Robin: Oh. Well, don't you live with her? Can't you have a conversation with her at the Quartermaines'?
Robert: Well, certainly the Quartermaines are world-class busybodies.
Robert: I have thought it'd be best to meet in private to discuss this matter.
Robin: Okay, I'll bite. What's the matter?
Robert: She's about to start a family with one Lorenzo Alcazar. I thought it would be best if she was given a heads-up on certain information.
Robin: And that information would be?
Robert: Ahem. Baby, I tried to bring you into this, but your mom isn't in town just to see you. She's on assignment. And I believe it's Alcazar.
Anna: I've established contact with Lorenzo Alcazar. Yeah, I returned the phone and engaged him in conversation. I didnít. Um -- I think the situation might be more complicated than I first thought. Apparently, there's this pregnant girlfriend. So he might be, you know, resistant. No, no. I'll find a way in. I always do.
Lorenzo: Work up a complete dossier on Anna Devane. I want to know everything there is to know about her.
Patrick: What are you doing out here?
Sam: Oh. You know, I was just -- I couldn't -- I was trying to balance the food.
Patrick: Against the door?
Sam: You know what? I -- I forgot some sugar. I -- I'll be back.
Jason: I'm going to stay away from her because it's the only way I know how to protect her.
Patrick: How are you feeling?
Jason: Better this morning. Test results?
Patrick: Should be delivered any minute.
Alexis: I'll leave you two alone. I was just telling Jason about Lucky and how he's getting a medal and a promotion for killing Manny. Good luck on your recovery. I mean that.
Patrick: So how's the hand?
Jason: It's doing pretty good.
Patrick: Shake. Let me see the right.
Jason: It's -- it's weaker, but it's going to come back, right?
Patrick: Well, that's what the test results will tell us.
Maxie: Lucky, I'm so glad you could make it.
Lucky: You sounded upset on the phone.
Maxie: Yeah, well, we have to be more careful. I almost got busted at the hospital. They know the bottles of Hydrocodone were stolen, and they know I was working both times it happened.
Lucky: Okay, did someone accuse you?
Maxie: No, but Alan cornered me. He asked me if I knew anything about it. I had to pretend and act surprised. And then he told me to keep my eyes open, and I said I would.
Lucky: You're sure he didn't suspect you?
Maxie: Not yet. But, Lucky, I had an orderly help me the first time I got you those pills. Someone could have seen me then. I'm getting really nervous. I mean, what are we going to do?
Lucky: Nothing. It'll be okay. I don't need your help anymore.
Alexis: Hi, Elizabeth. Have you seen Sam?
Elizabeth: Not since we took Jason for his test.
Alexis: Well, maybe she's taking a break.
Elizabeth: Oh, good. She deserves it after what Manny put her through. I'm glad she's doing so well.
Alexis: Me, too. And that's thanks to Lucky. He was a real hero last night.
Elizabeth: Yes, he was. He was amazing. But he didn't do it alone.
Alexis: Jason did get to Sam first, but he was so injured by the time he got to the roof that he wasn't able to hold Manny off, so thank goodness that Lucky fired that bullet that sent Manny over the edge. Because if not, Jason may have been the one that was found dead last night.
Elizabeth: Jason is strong and resourceful.
Alexis: That's all the more reason to be grateful to Lucky. Because if Jason had killed Manny, then they would have had to file manslaughter charges against him, so it's really fortunate that he didnít.
Anna: Hey, Robin. Hi.
Anna: I was just thinking about you.
Robin: Oh. E.S.P. -- I was just thinking about you, too.
Anna: Oh, good. Sit down.
Robin: All right. Okay.
Anna: So, I think that we need a little mother/daughter time together, and I found a spa on Bristol Street. I don't know if you know it. And they have all these great things, like -- look, you can get a face mask and --
Robin: Mom, you don't have to do this.
Anna: Don't you want to do it? Oh, I think it'll be so much fun. I mean, you know, you need a little R and R. You work too hard. And you just broke up with he who shall be nameless, so --
Robin: Yes, I know I did, but, mom, I know that you're here on assignment. Okay? And it's totally fine with me, I promise. I just think that you need to be really careful. I've heard that that man, Lorenzo Alcazar, can be very dangerous.
Anna: Damn him.
Robin: Who, Alcazar?
Anna: No, your father. He had no right to tell you this.
Robin: Why shouldn't he have told me?
Anna: Because he's dreamed up this entire theory that I am here on assignment and that my target is Alcazar, and he simply should not have wound you up in it.
Robin: Okay, so it's not true?
Robert: Skye, thank you so much for coming.
Skye: Well, I have to admit, your phone call has me curious. What is this sensitive matter that can only be discussed away from the prying eyes and ears of my family?
Robert: It's a pretty open secret in this town that I used to work for the government, as did my ex, Anna Devane.
Skye: I've heard it mentioned.
Robert: She and I worked for an organization called International Aid. It's a front. She's still an agent. And of late, she's taken a rather uncommon interest in your Mr. Alcazar.
Robert: Well, I'm sure you're aware of the fact that he has very close ties to illegal arms shipments. Now, I know that these two haven't met in the past, which means she's been assigned to him. And that means one thing. He's got some kind of a deal about to go down.
Skye: And you'd like to know if I know anything about Lorenzoís current business?
Robert: I realize this puts you in a -- somewhat of a compromising position.
Skye: But you still love Anna, and you'd do anything to protect her.
Robert: Well -- well, yeah. We share a child. But I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her.
Skye: Well, Rob, I'm afraid I can't help you. Lorenzo doesn't talk to me about business.
Robert: Look, I'm looking for something like, you know, a bit of information. Maybe an overheard phone conversation, a slip of the tongue about --
Skye: Why are you filling me in about your ex and her assignment? Obviously, Lorenzo and I are very close. What would stop me from going to him right now and telling him everything you just told me?
Robert: If he's as savvy as I think he is, he probably knows already.
Skye: Lorenzo agreed to go back into the business to pull some strings to keep Diego from going back to prison, okay? That is -- that is all know.
Robert: You okay?
Skye: It's not a good idea to have a baby with a man you don't trust. But it's my problem. And I will fix it, tonight.
Maxie: Lucky, you -- you obviously need those pills.
Lucky: No, I only take them when the pain is really bad.
Maxie: Like now?
Lucky: Manny -- he ran me with the gurney before he went to the roof. Just jolted my back, you know? And that flares up a little. But it'll be better soon.
Maxie: Well, you're going to need those pills until then, right? Do you have enough?
Lucky: No, I have a few left. Enough to get me through. And you know what? I'm going to stop as soon as I'm done. Listen, I don't want you to get in any trouble because of this. I owe you so much already, Maxie.
Maxie: You mean, you owe your wife. That's what you said in the press conference.
Lucky: You have been wonderful to me, Maxie. I wish I could tell the entire world how much you've helped me. But we have to keep that a secret. I'm sorry about that. I really am. The truth is that you believed in me. And I never, ever would have stopped Manny if it wouldn't have been for you and your help, and Iím -- I'm grateful for that in every way.
Maxie: I feel the same way about you.
Elizabeth: So, what did the doctor say?
Jason: Bullet damaged some nerves. And my arm -- they don't know how badly, but I'm just waiting for the test results.
Elizabeth: Well, it can't be that serious. Look how well you' moving your hand.
Jason: No, it's just weaker. I have to be able to recover the use of it.
Elizabeth: Jason, it could have been a lot worse. You could have been killed. Why are you so concerned with -- oh. That's the hand you shoot with. You know, I probably shouldn't be saying this, but maybe it's not such a bad thing. I mean, maybe you could take this opportunity to --
Jason: Actually, I shoot with both hands.
Elizabeth: Right. No one was around, so I told Epiphany that I'd hold on to your stuff for you.
Elizabeth: Thank you.
Jason: For what?
Elizabeth: Well, Lucky's getting a medal and he's being promoted.
Jason: He's the one who deserves the thanks.
Patrick: Hey. The test results. They're actually not as bad as I thought. With some physical therapy, you should regain full use of your hand in the next several weeks.
Jason: No permanent damage?
Patrick: None. So you get some rest.
Patrick: I'll be back later.
Jason: Thank you.
Sam: Jason, we need to talk.
Lorenzo: I'm glad you called. I assume you've had a chance to calm down a little bit and reconsider?
Skye: I am calm. I just wanted to tell you that I'm leaving town to have the baby. I've thought about it from every angle, and really, there's no alternative. And I don't want you to follow me.
Lorenzo: And when will you be back?
Skye: I don't know. I might not be back at all.
Lorenzo: What brought this on?
Skye: Lorenzo, come on. It's not like it's something you haven't heard before. You cannot be involved in our child's life.
Lorenzo: Skye, this is unacceptable.
Skye: I will not raise our child in your world. Your life is far too dangerous. He or she would be in constant danger. Is that what you really want for our baby?
Lorenzo: This is not a threat; this is a statement of fact. I am the father of that child. And I'm going to raise my son or daughter.
Skye: You don't really have a choice.
Lorenzo: I'll find you wherever you go. There is no way you can keep me from my child. Skye, I don't want to fight. And I will do everything in my power to find an amicable solution to this. But I will never give up on our child.
Anna: Darling -- um -- your father and I -- we might bicker and snipe, but the last thing I would want to do is hurt him.
Robin: What does it have to do with dad?
Anna: Well -- I don't know how to say this, but Robert made a pass at me.
Robin: Dad wants to get back together with you?
Anna: Well, I don't know. I mean, I think really that it's just Robertís ego talking. I think he would like to feel that he could have a chance with me again, but you know, I turned him down. I -- I hope you're not disappointed.
Robin: I think I'll live. I still don't understand what this has to do with Lorenzo Alcazar.
Anna: Well, this was his way to restore his wounded pride, you see, so he concocted this entire scenario about me being here on assignment, and --
Robin: So --
Anna: But he simply cannot accept the fact that I'm here in Port Charles merely to see you.
Robin: So there's no assignment?
Anna: Your father saw me having a drink with Alcazar, and I think that's when he went off on this tangent.
Robin: Okay, so that's all it was? A drink?
Anna: Well, the man's not ugly, but I don't think -- nothing's going to come of it.
Robin: Okay, so Dad's completely making all this up about Lorenzo Alcazar?
Anna: I don't want you to call him on it, Robin, because Robertís ego is very fragile, you know. And I don't want to hurt him any more than I already have.
Patrick: Are you okay?
Elizabeth: Alan wants to see me. Any idea why?
Patrick: Two bottles of Hydrocodone have gone missing. He's trying to track down who took them.
Elizabeth: This is the first I've heard about it.
Patrick: Yeah, well, now you know why I got Lucky off the stuff. It's highly addictive. And whoever stole the Hydrocodone -- it was probably prescribed to them legitimately at first and then got hooked.
Elizabeth: If it's a patient at all.
Patrick: Well, yeah, it could have been somebody on the staff that's trying to sell them illegally.
Elizabeth: But if it is a patient -- I mean, maybe that person doesn't even realize they have a problem.
Patrick: Sounds like you're talking about somebody specifically. Maybe your husband.
Elizabeth: Are you implying that Lucky might have stolen those pills?
Lucky: This is wrong.
Maxie: Is it?
Lucky: It's not being fair to you or Elizabeth.
Maxie: Why don't you let me be the judge of what's fair for me?
Lucky: I am married, Maxie.
Maxie: I don't care.
Lucky: I do.
Maxie: Okay, then my question should be, does your wife?
Lucky: You're going to have to explain that.
Maxie: I'm just repeating what you said. I mean, every time I turn around, I see Patrick and Elizabeth together.
Lucky: Well, he is a doctor and she's a nurse.
Maxie: They're more than just professional acquaintances. I mean, sure, Patrick hits on anything with cleavage, but he pays special attention to Elizabeth.
Lucky: I'm not --
Maxie: They always have their heads together and long conversations. They manage to pull the same shifts. Their breaks are always together.
Lucky: I'm not denying that Patrick is attracted to Elizabeth. But like you said, he is a dog.
Maxie: Elizabeth doesn't seem to mind that much.
Lucky: And you're conveniently forgetting Robin.
Maxie: I keep my ears open. That's how I knew when and where to score you your pills. And from what I hear, Patrick and Robin are over. Not like that would stop him. Even if they were still together, I'm sure he would have no problem going after your wife.
Lucky: You're doing the same as I did. You're misinterpreting friendship between colleagues. I was wrong, and so are you.
Lucky: Patrick -- you know what? He may hit on Elizabeth. He won't deny it. But there's no way that she would ever respond.
Maxie: You responded to me.
Lucky: Maybe. But Elizabeth is loyal and faithful to me -- just like I need to be to her, no matter what the temptation is.
Maxie: Okay. But don't say I didn't warn you. And everyone can give in to temptation, eventually.
Sam: So what's the prognosis? Does Patrick think you're going to be okay?
Jason: Yeah, he said I should recover completely. I should be back to normal within weeks.
Sam: That's great. That's -- that's good. You must be relieved.
Jason: Yeah, I am. He's going to put me on some regimen of physical therapy to help heal the nerves.
Sam: Okay. Well, you know, I can help with that. I can put you through an exercise routine, and, you know, maybe -- I'll get you whatever you want. This will give us some time to catch up.
Jason: Sam --
Sam: Jason, we've been through so much stress and craziness in the past few months, and now that it's finally over, I just feel like we can --
Jason: Sam, don't do this.
Sam: We can go home together, and I can take care of you there.
Jason: We don't have a home together.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Patrick: How well do you know your husband, anyway?
Carly: I am terrified. Sonny needs help.
Lainey: You have to have him committed.
Ric: You're not fooling anybody -- you're twisting the law to your own end.
Sam: This is your last chance. If I walk out that door, I'm never coming back.
