Emily: Hi.

Sam: Hey.

Emily: I got your message. How are you feeling?

Sam: Well, my body's recovering. It's just my heart that's in pieces. Jason's left me.

[Knock on door]

Jason: Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: I came to update you on sam's condition. Epiphany said you wanted to be kept informed.

Jason: Come on in.

Elizabeth: Well, I am glad to say, it's good news. Sam is steadily improving, and her bleeding stopped, which means you were correct to defy alexis and the court order.

Jason: Thank god.

Elizabeth: That surgery really did save sam's life.

Jason: I appreciate you telling me. But you could have called. Why'd you show up in person?

Elizabeth: Because I know what you've done.

Luke: All right, you've had your little joke. Unhand my drink, un-butt my couch, and get the hell out of my franchise! There's a hellhole somewhere with your name on it.

Robert: Well --

edward: Let go of my guest.

Luke: What guest?

Edward: He wasn't kidding. He wasn't lying, either. He was just my guest because I've invited him to move in.

Luke: For how long?

Edward: For as long as we are graced with your presence.

Carly: You know, where's a natural disaster when you need one? Why couldn't the jungle just open up and swallow her whole? Is that really too much to ask?

Jax: Don't look now, but your jealous streak is on full display, again.

Carly: I am not jealous. I'm not jealous. I just hate her sanctimonious guts, that's all.

Jax: Well, I happen to be very fond of her, and there's no way I'm going to deep-six her from my life because she gets on your nerves.

Carly: My last nerve. My very last nerve.

Jax: Leave it alone. Don't go there. Oh. Hi!

Alexis: Hello, my friend.

Carly: Great. Another all-time fave.

Robin: Is there any chance helena will just stay out of it?

Nikolas: No. Not until she's buried in the ground. And luke doubts that even death would stop her. That's what that whole vampire thing he talks about --

robin: Vampire thing?

Nikolas: Yeah, he just -- never mind. Anyway, my grandmother is the best case that I could ever have against having a family.

Robin: But that's ridiculous. I mean, you can't live in fear of helena.

Nikolas: Mm-hmm, not in fear, but resigned to. You know, wary of. It's part of my makeup. But it doesn't give me the right to inflict eternal paranoia on anyone else.

Robin: But you were going to. John could have been your son. What would you have done if he were?

Jax: We were just about to call you.

Carly: We were?

Jax: Yeah, we were planning john's christening, and we were hoping that we could count on you.

Carly: Uh -- must have missed that one.

Alexis: Are you asking me to be john's godmother? You betcha. I accept.

Nikolas: I've accepted the fact that I'm not john's father. Any speculation about what could have been just hurts too much.

Robin: I'm sorry. I -- I didn't mean to open old wounds.

Nikolas: No, no, it's -- it's like I said, it's just as well. Any cassadine heir would have attracted helena like a shark to blood. See, her biggest frustration is -- is finding an appropriate heir to the title. Stavros is dead. Stefan -- who she discounted as -- as weak.

Robin: Hmm.

Nikolas: And I'm a disappointment because I'm cursed with a conscience and my mother's D.N.A. John wouldn't have had a moment of peace.

Dillon: Ok, you know, it probably won't help my case much, but when I was on the adventure with luke, I liked it. I really liked it.

Georgie: Really? Shocked. I can't -- I can't do this anymore. Somebody has got to say it, and I guess it's going to be me. I love you. I love you so much more than I ever thought that I could ever love anybody. But I'm just not ready to be married.

Dillon: Me, either.

[Dillon sighs]

Dillon: So -- the chorus of doom was right. We're too young.

Georgie: I really wish we could have proved them wrong.

Dillon: We almost did.

Georgie: Yeah. What do we do? Oh, gosh, what -- do we get it annulled?

Dillon: Don't -- no, no. Don't say that word. I hate that word.

Georgie: Ok.

Dillon: It sounds so official. It sounds like a business failing. It sounds like -- like the love we had didn't matter. I hate that word.

Georgie: It mattered. Dillon, it mattered.

Dillon: Do you regret it?

Georgie: Absolutely not. Our intentions were pure.

Dillon: Well, we did think I was dying.

Georgie: We wanted to be together, dillon, for whatever time was left. But you recovered, and we just -- we just needed time to grow.

Dillon: Ok. All right, I agree. So --

georgie: Absolutely.

Dillon: Does this mean that we have to break up?

Elizabeth: I stopped by the hospital administration on another matter, and you could imagine my surprise when I discovered that not only had lucky's medical bills been taken care of, but his physical therapy was paid for, as well, for the next six months. And then I came to discover that our rent had been taken care of, as well as cameron's daycare. So I called nikolas to thank him. But he didn't know anything about it. So I went through the process of elimination. Since lucky and I aren't swimming with rich relatives, I figured that it must be either my fairy godmother or you. How am I supposed to explain this to lucky?

Jason: Tell him the truth.

Sam: The hypocrisy got to jason -- staying with me after being so adamant that sonny leave you. The way jason sees it is that he is the reason I got shot. And in his head, the only way he can protect me is by leaving me.

Emily: You mean until you're better?

Sam: I wish. No, he made it sound like it would be a permanent situation.

Emily: And you get no say in the matter, right?

Sam: Absolutely not. I love your brother. And I can't stand what's happening between us. I was hoping that maybe you could convince him to just come talk to me.

Carly: Excuse me. Can I talk to you? What are you thinking?

Jax: You can't react like this every time I exchange words with another woman.

Carly: That is not what this is about, and you know it.

Jax: Oh -- of course I'm going to tell alexis that you're john's godmother.

Carly: I have bigger concerns than that right now. Alexis is a cassadine, ok? She's john's great-aunt by blood. What if she figures that out?

Jax: How?

Carly: I don't know. What if she sees john in his christening gown and she's, like, "oh, that looks like great-uncle tom"?

Jax: Carly --

carly: What about that birthmark of john's that we think is so cute? What if that runs in the cassadine family?

Jax: Whoa -- I think -- I think you're overthinking this.

Carly: I think you need to be grateful that I am. I'm being serious, jax. When you look at alexis, you see an ex-wife and a good buddy. I see a potential threat to the secret about john's paternity. And another thing -- what's it going to look like when you invite alexis to be the honored guest at the christening right after you asked nikolas to stay the hell away?

Robin: Oh, come on. What you're describing is bleak and lonely. You can't sustain that kind of life. I mean, chances are, you are going to fall in love with somebody. Maybe even back in love with somebody.

Nikolas: Robin, emily's with sonny now.

Robin: I know. But I have serious doubts about that lasting. It's not a stretch to think that emily will come back to you. Are you really going to turn down the chance to marry her and have a family?

Nikolas: After what I put her through, I can't see her wanting to have anything to do with me ever again.

Emily: I want to help you, sam, but I'm afraid I'd do your cause more harm than good. I wanted to support jason through your medical crisis, but he wasn't interested. I had to do something, so I cleaned up his apartment, I brought over food, and he barely said two words to me. There's no way that he'd want to hear anything that I have to say.

Sam: Something's changed. But jason is not so confident anymore. I don't think he ever imagined that sonny would leave the business for you, or that you would go against his expressed wishes, but you did. You and sonny called his bluff, and now he's stuck with all these things that he never wanted. Having control of the organization, leaving me? This goes against everything -- everything that jason believes in. I think he would listen to you now, emily.

Emily: You're the one jason loves. Sam, if anyone can influence him, it's you.

Sam: That's the thing. If -- if jason would let me have my say, he -- he knows that he would give in. That's why he's trying to stay away from me, so he can keep doing what he thinks is right. Look, I don't want you to plead my case. I can do that on my own. Emily, I am asking you -- I am begging you to help me.

Elizabeth: You make it sound so simple. "Just tell him the truth."

Jason: Unfortunately, it's more than words. You have to live it, even if it kills you.

Elizabeth: Jason, what's logical to you is emotional to someone else. Lucky's already upset by taking what he calls charity from his brother. How is he going to react taking it from you?

Jason: Elizabeth, it's not -- it's not charity, it's payment. You helped dr. Drake perform a surgery against a court order. You risked your job, your career to save sam's life. That's worth more than I could ever pay you in cash.

Elizabeth: All I did was follow doctor's orders.

Jason: Ok, you can minimize it if you want, but we both know what you put on the line. And you deserve to be compensated -- just like I would have covered your expenses if you would have been fired for it.

Elizabeth: So payback? Are you sure that's the only reason why you're doing this?

Jason: Why else?

Elizabeth: Are you sure it has nothing to do with me crying on your shoulder about my depressing financial problems?

Jason: If the timing turned out right, I'm glad.

Elizabeth: Because, you know, I can't confide in you if you're going to run out and -- and fix every problem I complain about. Lucky's having a hard enough time that it was you who saved me from manny. But to be indebted to you financially --

jason: It's not -- it's not a debt, ok? It's payment, free and clear. And lucky can't let his pride get in the way right now. His family needs to get through a tough time.

Elizabeth: You know, if it were me and lucky, I'd say "thanks, but no, thanks," and walk out that door. But my little boy deserves the very best life I can offer him. So if it means accepting this gift, then I do with eternal gratitude.

Jason: Good. Then we don't have to argue about it anymore.

Elizabeth: As long as we're clear -- we're even. I mean, all debts are paid -- for sam and for whatever else I do for you in the future.

Jason: That's fair enough.

Elizabeth: Thanks, jason.

Dillon: We still love each other as much as we did yesterday. What do you think? Is that a -- is that a fair statement?

Georgie: You can speak for yourself. I love you more.

Dillon: Ok, all right. Well, there you go. So -- so just because we're not married doesn't mean that we can't still see each other.

Georgie: Hmm. Define "seeing each other."

Dillon: Going steady, hooking up. Um -- dating -- exclusively, by the way, meaning you can't see other people.

[Georgie sighs]

Georgie: Funny how we go from "we" to "me" so quickly. I assume you're talking about diego. Does that mean you're not going to see lulu anymore?

Dillon: Lulu?

Georgie: Lulu.

Dillon: Georgie, lulu is my stepsister. The only "seeing" I'm going to be doing of her is when I have to. And by the way, I have no intention of inviting her to once-in-a-lifetime parties or kissing her. I mean, any of that --

georgie: Stop, stop.

Dillon: What -- oh --

georgie: Let's not have this fight again. We need to stay honest, dillon. Maybe marriage wasn't the issue. The root of the issue, I mean. Maybe making such a big commitment so soon was.

Dillon: I don't have a problem being committed to you.

Georgie: Really?

Dillon: I don'T.

Georgie: Really? That surprises me sometimes when you -- I don't know -- run off with someone else and don't bother to call or write me.

Dillon: Georgie, I was halfway across the world in a jungle fighting bounty hunters to save lulu's dad, for crying out loud.

Georgie: There it is.

Dillon: What? Don't --

georgie: That light.

Dillon: What?

Georgie: That light in your eyes.

Dillon: I don't have a thing for lulu.

Georgie: I don't care about lulu, dillon. I don't care about lulu. I can compete with lulu. And I can compete with any other woman you bring in here. What I don't stand a chance against is the high you get off of luke and his stupid adventures.

Luke: Where's alice? I need a caviar sandwich and a bottle of icy vodka to take the sting out of this.

Robert: Oh, we're all out. But it was -- it was good.

Luke: You -- oh, no, not my cuban cigars, too?

Robert: Well --

luke: Is there anything of mine that you haven't had?

Robert: Yet.

Luke: Edward, you mark my words. You let this australian deadbeat move in here, and it'll be like harboring a fungus. He'll spread. He'll lay claim to everything in sight.

Edward: You know, you're probably right, luke, but there is a simple solution. You go, you take scorpio with you.

Robert: See? That's it. Your franchise has the same shelf life as mine. We sink or swim together. But the best part is it'll be just like the old days.

Jax: Sorry. I apologize if there was any misunderstanding, but --

carly: But jax has already asked me to be john's godmother.

Jax: Right, but I wanted to invite you to the christening.

Carly: We understand if you can't make it, though. I mean, look at your life. It's so busy -- a husband, two daughters, brand-new job as D.A. Oh, and then now you're finally taking care of that daughter you abandoned years ago, aren't you?

Alexis: I know how much little john means to you. And in spite of that --

[Carly sighs]

Alexis: Woman's presence, I wouldn't miss this christening for all the world.

Jax: Thanks. Bye.

Carly: Nothing I said sunk in? You didn't hear anything I said?

Jax: Well, wait. Not inviting alexis would have been a red flag.

Carly: No, it wouldn't have. She just would have thought it was me and my witchy behavior.

Jax: So let me get this straight. You want me to be nice to nikolas only when alexis isn't around?

Carly: Yeah. Wow, that would be great. Could you manage that?

Jax: Mm-hmm. I have a meeting, so -- I'll see you later?

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Jax: Ok.

[Phone rings]

Carly: Hello?

Sam: Hey, I need a favor.

Nikolas: I'm sure you didn't invite me to lunch to hear me talk about my nutty family. Whatever patrick drake has in mind I'm sure is far more interesting than catching up with an old friend, so --

robin: Oh, no, I'm not going to just leave you sitting here. That's rude.

Nikolas: Here's how it works. You go, or I will.

Robin: Ok, but I insist on a rain check.

Nikolas: You got it.

Robin: Bye.

Nikolas: Bye.

Robin: Would it have killed you to come over?

Patrick: I didn't feel like playing jealous.

Robin: Oh. Are you sure you shouldn't be jealous?

Patrick: You did leave him to come to me, didn't you?

Emily: Hey. I'm leaving for a while. Wish me luck.

Elizabeth: Wait. Why?

Emily: I'm going to try to keep jason from hurting sam any more than he already has.

Elizabeth: He is trying to do what he thinks is best.

Emily: Then how can he abandon sam when she needs him the most?

Elizabeth: He's trying to protect her. You know the drill.

Emily: You seem pretty versed in it yourself. When did you start speaking so confidently for jason?

Jason: These pictures tell it. Escobar's making the rounds, trying to drum up support.

Stan: Can I ask you a question?

Jason: Sure.

Stan: I know that you talked to my mom -- rather, my mom has talked to you. And I know how intimidating she can be. And she also doesn't like the fact that I work for you. Um -- did she give you a hard time?

Jason: Epiphany stated her case. I like your mother, stanford.

Stan: Not -- not now, please.

Jason: Come on. She says what she thinks. I respect that. I'm just -- I am sorry that I can't give her what she wants.

Stan: Which is to fire me?

[Knock on door]

Jason: Yeah?

Richie: We've got a messenger.

Jason: What do you want?

Diego: I'm here on behalf of juan escobar.

[Jason sighs]

Jason: Not interested.

Diego: Still have to deliver the message. He wants to have dinner with you tonight at rinaldi'S.

Jason: All right, you did what you came to do. Now get out.

Diego: Ok. Oh -- yeah, one more thing, jason. If you do show up, you probably won't get out alive.

Robin: Wow, this is such a nice gesture.

Patrick: Hmm.

Robin: I never really figured you for the romantic type. Wait, hold on a second. With you, I cannot assume anything. This rose is for me, right? There's no nurse that's going to pop out from underneath the bed or a cocktail waitress or some legal assistant lurking in the closet?

Patrick: No. Tonight is all yours. Now, where were we the other night before we were so rudely interrupted?

Robin: Right about here.

Robin: I'm sorry. I didn't even give you a chance to pour the champagne.

Patrick: It'll be there when we take our break. I doubt you'll want to rush off.

Robin: Oh, my god. My mom was right.

Patrick: Your mom?

Robin: Well, I didn't want to believe her for obvious reasons.

Patrick: What are you talking about?

Robin: She said that I'm attracted to you because, well, you remind me of my father.

Georgie: We are the perfect example of opposites attract. I'm pretty basic, psychologically speaking. You are complicated. I am earthbound, you let your imagination run you wild. You came from a family of money and privilege, and I'm -- I'm middle class.

Dillon: So?

Georgie: So marriage put you into a little box -- a shared bathroom down the hall, a thankless job flipping burgers in a diner? Your whole world became me. You put me under a microscope, you tried to control me, and I became resentful and rebellious, and that's not fair to either of us.

Dillon: Wow. Sounds like you've got the whole thing figured out.

Georgie: Another curse of my nature.

[Dillon laughs]

Georgie: I -- I think things through.

Dillon: Unlike me?

Georgie: Exactly.

Dillon: Ok. So what -- I don't -- what are you saying? Are we incompatible?

Georgie: No, no, no, dillon. I have never, ever been happier in my entire life than the time that I'm with you. But we are still growing and we are changing and evolving and we're not going to be the same people a year from now, and we just -- we need the freedom to become those people, whether or not we end up together. I just don't think being exclusive is the best thing for us right now.

Dillon: You do want to see diego.

Georgie: No, dillon, I don't want to feel like I need to cut him out of my life, or anybody else for that matter, just because you don't approve.

Dillon: Why are you doing this? Why don't you just -- why don't you just admit that this "freedom" thing is a little bit of an excuse? Because you're attracted to diego -- I can see that, and he's just -- you want to break up with me so that you have a shot or just a chance --

georgie: No, no, absolutely not.

Dillon: Ok, here's -- you know, here's the difference, all right? You knew that I was going off with lulu. You knew where I was going and what I was doing, but how long did you lie to me, did you keep it a secret about you writing to diego in prison?

Georgie: Diego is a friend.

Dillon: Yeah, he's a --

georgie: Diego's a friend.

Dillon: Yeah, he's a friend and he found a friend in you, didn't he? He took you to prom, he was the guy who kissed you on your prom night, not me. I'm your husband!

Georgie: Dillon, stop!

Dillon: No, I'm not going to stop! You've been -- you've been doing this for a long time, georgie. You've been -- you've been slowly easing me out of your life little by little and I just -- I've been too dense to see it. But I get it now, all right? I get it. I'll give you what you want. I'll -- I don't know what that is even. Is that a divorce, an annulment? Forget it. I don't know -- you know what? I'll just -- I'll have "my lawyer" contact you.

Georgie: Whatever you say, mr. Quartermaine. Dillon, wait. Please.

Diego: You must know escobar's courting my father. Ok, escobar thinks that if he teams up with my dad, they can bring you down. But my dad won't play, so escobar's getting nervous enough that he wants to take you down himself. That's what that dinner's about.

Jason: Why are you telling me this?

Diego: Well, I thought you'd appreciate the gesture, maybe throw a few jobs my way. I think I've proved I can handle it.

Jason: All you've proved is that you don't have loyalty to the people who pay you. For the last time, there is no room for you in my organization. Get out.

Diego: Don't make the mistake of thinking that I'm like my father. Just because he went soft because of that baby doesn't mean that I'm afraid of anyone, including you.

Jason: Then you're even dumber than you act.

[Door closes]

Stan: Kid's flapping. He has nothing solid.

Jason: Probably not, but escobar is probably feeling powerless. You know, I took out his brother, I disrespected him in front of his people, he can't get anywhere with alcazar. It makes sense that escobar took a shot at me, and he's gearing up to take another one tonight.

Stan: So what are you going to do?

Jason: I'm going to rinaldi'S.

Elizabeth: I'm sorry, em, but I don't think you have a prayer of convincing jason to go back to sam.

Emily: I must've missed something. When did you become such an expert on my brother's life?

Elizabeth: We've just been talking lately, that's all.

Emily: Well, then maybe you can explain why the former champion of freedom to make your own choices is working overtime protecting everyone from that very thing -- me, sonny, now sam? Why can't jason see that he's spitting in the face of anything he ever stood for, and he's dead wrong?

Elizabeth: Because from jason's perspective, he's not wrong. Bad guys take shots at him -- that'll probably never change. In fact, I'm sure it's going to get worse now that he's in charge. Sam has already paid the price for being a part of his life, and jason feels that if he stays away from her, he can protect her from the consequences of his life.

Emily: Wow, I -- I never thought I'd hear you come down on the side of jason's life.

Elizabeth: Oh. I'm a different person than when he and I were together. Back then, jason's relentlessly logical ways of breaking things down seemed cold and dismissive and now, jason's ways make more sense than I realized.

Carly: Hey.

Sam: You came.

Carly: Yeah. I've always been a little too curious for my own good. What's up?

Sam: You and I have never been friends. I know this, but on occasion, we've come to a meeting of minds and I was just kind of hoping that maybe that would happen now.

Carly: I'm listening.

Sam: You know that jason and I love each other.

Carly: I know that.

Sam: We broke up. Scratch that -- jason broke up with me. He doesn't think that he wants anything to do with me anymore.

Carly: You know he's just trying to protect you?

Sam: Yeah, well, you know what, carly? I don't need to be protected from the man that I love. I called emily and I asked her to get jason and have him at least hear me out.

Carly: Ok, that's not going to work.

Sam: Obviously, I am desperate or I would not have called you. Emily doesn't think she has the influence to change jason's mind.

Carly: She's right about that.

Sam: You do. You are the one person who can get to jason whenever anyone else can't, and I am just -- I'm asking you, carly. I am begging you to help me.

Georgie: If we are breaking up over diego and some fun you had on an adventure, then we're being childish. I love you so much and I -- I miss you. I missed you so much when you were gone, I didn't know what to do without you. I was upset I couldn't go with you and -- just please cut me a little slack. Trust that I can let diego in as nothing more than a friend.

Dillon: It's not you that I don't trust. Ok --

georgie: Diego knows that I love you. I think you need to know the same thing.

Dillon: Ok. I'm sorry. I'm -- I'm being a quartermaine -- suspicious and controlling, and I'm turning into my mother. I don't want to lose you, either.

Georgie: I'm not going anywhere, dillon, and I love you the same way I always have, annulled or not.

Robin: You're going to wear a path in the floor. Listen, that -- that thing that I said about you and my father? I didn't mean it.

Patrick: Me and your father? Like how -- how is that even possible?

Robin: You are so alike! You're both conceited, you're both glib, you're both self-centered. You both think that you are god's gift to women.

Patrick: Ok, ok. Really not feeling the love here at all.

Robin: Why are you being so sensitive? I mean, it's not like I haven't said these things to you before.

Patrick: Except for the father thing.

Robin: Right. Listen, forget about what I said, ok? I'm sorry. Forget about him. I mean, there's plenty of other self-centered jerks that I could compare you to.

Patrick: Wow. Thank you.

Robin: Clearly, we shouldn't talk. Listen, I came here today to be with you. Now, can I interesting you in moving on?

Patrick: I think my incentive's back up.

Richie: Your sister's here.

Emily: Wow. You look different.

Jason: Got a meeting. I can't be late.

Emily: It won't take long. I'm just here to talk to you about sam.

Jason: It's -- it's done.

Emily: No, it's not, jason. I'm not going to be dismissed. You be as angry with me as you want, but I still love you and I'm not going to stand by and watch you break your heart and sam's for all the wrong reasons.

Carly: Sending someone to plead your case isn't going to work. Jason does what he wants to do -- he always has, sam.

Sam: Not always. He has done plenty of things for you against his better judgment. You know that, and I am not asking anybody to plead my case. I will do that all on my own if given the chance.

Carly: So you want me to soften him up a little bit?

Sam: You want jason to be happy. You know he is happy with me. If you don't do it for me, at least do it for him.

Carly: Ok, I can't guarantee the outcome.

Sam: Understood. Thank you.

Luke: Oh, bless alice. She revealed where she hides the russian vodka.

Edward: I should fire that woman.

Luke: Come, spankster. Come and sit by papa. Let me bask in the warm, feminine glow of your sweetness.

Tracy: I wouldn't get too comfortable if I were you. Robert only took a walk, not a powder. Oh, no. Please don't tell me you reconciled.

Georgie: Sorry to disappoint you, tracy, but dillon and I are more in love than ever.

Dillon: And that's why we're getting an annulment.

Robin: Is your beeper off?

Patrick: It's in my locker. Where's yours?

Robin: Off for the next 12 hours.

Patrick: Well, we'll have to make do.

[Pounding on door]

Robin: Oh. Ignore it.

Patrick: Go away!

Robert: It's robert scorpio. Drake, we need to have a little talk about your intentions towards my daughter.

Emily: You and sam were going to be married, have a family. I don't want to believe that you're capable of shutting all of that off at the drop of a hat. Jason, I know for sure sam isn'T.

Jason: Sam was shot in my arms with a bullet that was meant for me. You think that's going to stop? It's going to get worse. And I would rather walk away from sam than bury her.

Emily: You have another choice, jason -- keep sam, give up the business.

Jax: Yeah, we thought it would be nice to have the christening outside instead of indoors if that's still part of your jurisdiction. Well, great. We'll call to set up the particulars. Thank you, reverend. I'm very proud. Nikolas.

Nikolas: Hello.

Jax: You know, carly and I are planning john's christening and we'd like you to come.

Nikolas: I don't follow. First you say you don't want -- want me anywhere near john, now you're inviting me to his christening? What -- what'd I miss, jax? Why now are you being so accommodating?

Alexis: Carly, may I speak to you for a moment?

Carly: What's the moral lecture this time? How I'm corrupting jax or how he's sacrificing his son to the evil godmother?

Alexis: I'm not feeling very moral at the moment in that I am asking you to unite with me in a common cause. You and I both agree that it isn't healthy for sam to be with jason. I overheard you talking to her and I heard sam ask you to help her with jason, and I am asking as her mother for you not to.

Emily: You did it once. Jason, you walked away from all of it -- sonny, the business -- to make a life with sam.

Jason: Doesn't work that way.

Emily: You're always so practical. Why doesn't this solution make sense to you?

Jason: Because it's impossible. There's no going back, especially now.

Emily: Why do you get to make all the decisions? You're the life sam chose, jason. My god, you loved her enough to ask her to be your wife. Don't you even miss her?

Jason: Every second. I went to the hospital to watch her sleep.

Emily: Well, she couldn't say anything to make you change your mind. Don't make this mistake. Go to her. Tell her how much you love her. Don't waste any time, jason --

Jason: Get down.

[Emily gasps]

Jason: Stay down.

Emily: Jason, don'T.

>> On the next "general hospital" --

robert: Open the door!

Robin: What are you doing here?

Alexis: Ric and I bought a house. You're perfectly welcome to stay with us.

Sonny: Why are you so upset?

Emily: It's nothing.

Sonny: What's going on?

Jason: Someone took a shot at emily because of me.
