Robert: Top o' the morning to ya. Sleep well?

Tracy: Oh, yeah, like a baby. Who needs a mattress when you can sleep tied to a chair? Oh --

Robert: This is luxury. Luke and I have been in far worse. There was this one time --

Tracy: No! I cannot hear another story about the good old days. Oh, daddy, thank God. He will rescue us.

Edward: "Us"?

Lucky: Elizabeth! No. Elizabeth!

Elizabeth: Lucky? Hey, you called my name. Are you ok?

Lucky: I'm fine. It was just a dream. By the way, where were you last night?

Carly: Thank you for meeting me here.

Nikolas: Well, you said you had something important to discuss with me, so --

Carly: Yeah. It's kind of hard to admit that I'm involved in this, considering my past, and that I'm still trying to make amends, I guess, for it, so --

[Carly sighs]

Nikolas: What is it, Carly?

Jax: Yes, by all means, Carly, enlighten us.

Max: Hey, boss, your brother's here.

Sonny: Get out, Ric.

Ric: We have to talk about the situation --

Sonny: I said get out, Ric. You don't want to hear this.

Ric: What is it that I don't want to hear?

Sonny: It's business.

Ric: You're going to do it, aren't you? You're going to call somebody to take Jason out.

Tracy: How can you do this to your own flesh and blood? And let me remind you that the man you are freeing is about to hunt your son-in-law down and sell him to foreign foot-floggers. We will never see Luke again.

Edward: Precisely.

Robert: Thank you, Edward.

Edward: No, don't thank me. Just make sure that that reprobate Spencer never darkens my door again.

Robert: I can do that.

Tracy: Daddy, I will never forget this. I'm never going to do you any favors.

Edward: Since when have you ever done me any favors?

Tracy: Well, I'll start if you let me out.

Dillon: Well, we missed you at lunch, grandfather.

Edward: Here, move aside. Come on.

Lulu: Yeah, sure, as soon as he's back in his chair.

Robert: Uh -- uh --

Lulu: Yeah.

Alice: And if you don't mind returning what you stole from my unmentionables drawer?

Edward: No respect for elders.

Elizabeth: I was home with Cameron. Why?

Lucky: I called you, but you didn't answer. Machine kept picking up, and I couldn't reach you this morning either.

Elizabeth: You know what? Cameron and I, we went to bed early last night and I turned off the ringer. Did you need me? Was -- was there a problem?

Lucky: I just wanted to hear your voice. I miss being home with you, going to sleep in your arms.

Elizabeth: You'll be home soon. And for right now, I am all yours.

[Pager beeps]

Elizabeth: Oh, oh, well -- sorry, honey, I have to take this. Ok?

Lucky: Bad timing.

Elizabeth: I'll be back.

Lucky: Sure.

Patrick: Elizabeth, I was just thinking about you. We still on for this evening?

Elizabeth: Um -- yes, yes. But if your rounds include Lucky, just be careful because he's getting suspicious.

Patrick: What happened?

Elizabeth: Well, he tried calling me last night; obviously I wasn't there to pick up. I just -- I don't want him to know. He wouldn't be able to handle it right now.

Patrick: He won't hear it from me.

Elizabeth: Thanks. I just hate -- I hate lying to Lucky. Would you mind if we held off on our -- you know what? Never mind. No, I need to do this. I will see you tonight, ok?

Patrick: Good. It'll be our secret.

Elizabeth: Thanks again.

Robin: There you are.

Patrick: Looking for me?

Robin: Yes. I wanted you to consult on one of my patients -- that is, if you're feeling up to it.

Patrick: Why wouldn't I be?

Robin: I don't know, I just thought maybe you'd have trouble concentrating since last night's blonde probably kept you up to all hours.

Patrick: Oh, it's not a problem. After nights like that, I usually feel -- energized.

Robin: Ugh!

Carly: Actually, I was about to ask Nikolas on a date.

Nikolas: You were?

Jax: Really? Well, by all means. Carly's great. You'll have a lot of fun.

Carly: It's not what either one of you think. Do you remember the New Year’s Eve benefit where they auctioned off dinner with obliging men?

Jax: Oh. That's the idea that you came up with last night.

Carly: Thank you for your inspiration.

Nikolas: If this is your idea of a joke, I'm really busy.

Carly: It's not. My idea is to have another event here to benefit the hospital.

Jax: Thanks.

Nikolas: Oh, ok. Well, what does that have to do with you feeling embarrassed or needing to make amends?

Carly: This event is to raise funds for a new surgical wing -- in honor of Tony Jones.

Nikolas: Well, not to -- not to criticize, but you and Tony had a somewhat antagonistic relationship, did you not?

Carly: Yeah, I broke up his marriage and I shot him in open court, and it doesn't really get much worse than that.

Nikolas: No.

Carly: But my mother and Lucas are grieving for him, and Tony was a really good man. And I think a new surgical wing is a really good way to pay tribute to this man.

Waitress: Carly Corinthos is planning some big charity event at the hotel. Chances are the people that you're after will be there.

Manny: Ok, baby, good. Maybe I'll be there, too.

Sonny: Jason left me no choice. In order for me to take back what's mine -- I don't want to do it, Ric, but he has to die.

Ric: Sonny, there's always a choice, all right? Jason disrespected you, he took everything that you built, but you and he have a long history together. You have been the best of friends; you have trusted each other with your lives. He's an uncle to your children. You and I both know that you do not want to kill him.

Sonny: It's how the business works, Ric -- betrayal cannot be tolerated. If I don't take back what's mine, I'm nothing.

Ric: Sonny, if Jason disappears or turns up dead, every cop in the city is going to come after you.

Sonny: Cops can't prove anything!

Ric: Listen to me. Let's just look at this hypothetically for a second, ok? All right, Jason’s dead. Even if they can't prove it, everybody knows that you're responsible for it. As a show of strength, you get your business back. That's great, but what then, hmm? You know Emily’s going to be so guilt-ridden that she set all of this in motion, and worse yet, she's going to know that her actions led to the death of a beloved brother. Her whole life is going to be shattered, Sonny. She's going to have to live with that guilt forever. And worse yet, Carly -- you know how she's going to take it? I guarantee you, it's going to be a much more active approach. I'm pretty sure that she'd try to kill you herself. At the very least, she's going to hate you, and worse yet, she'll try to convince your children to hate you, which you know --

Sonny: I'd rather my sons hate me than despise me or pity me because I'm too weak to take back what's mine.

Ric: All right, instead of killing -- instead of killing Jason, what if -- what if you just -- you just take him out of commission?

Sonny: You've wanted Jason out of the picture. How come you don't want him dead, Ric?

Ric: Look, look, if you lose everything, the price is too high.

Sonny: I don't want to play these games anymore.

Ric: I'm offering you a solution, Sonny, a way for you to save Jason and yourself.

Sonny: How, Ric?

Ric: Jason murdered Miguel Escobar last night. Why not send him to prison for it?

Nikolas: Well, I've always liked and respected Tony Jones, and it's for a good cause, so --

Carly: So you'll do it?

Nikolas: My body is all yours.

Carly: Oh. Great. Thank you.

Nikolas: I suppose it's the least I can do. You've given me the chance to be a part of John's life and I appreciate it.

Jax: Well, you've proven to both of us that you care about him; you have his best interest at heart, so --

Nikolas: I do. And I'll be sure and make a large donation to the event, as well.

Carly: That would be great. Thank you very much.

Jax: Thanks very much, Nikolas.

Nikolas: Thank you.

Jax: I'm sorry. I apologize for jumping to conclusions. You know, I thought I walked in on you about to tell Nikolas that he's John's father.

Carly: Yeah, I know. I told you I'd never do that. If you believe that John should grow up as your son, then so do I.

Jax: You really mean that, don't you?

Carly: Yes, I do.

Jax: Then I guess I'm pretty lucky. Because at first I thought it was just going to be me and John against the world. Now it's the three of us.

Carly: Everything is going to work out fine. You'll see.

Epiphany: How are we doing today?

Lucky: Better all the time.

Epiphany: Good. Then you won't be needing this anymore.

Lucky: Wait, what are you doing?

Epiphany: Just what it looks like -- I'm taking away your morphine drip.

Lucky: But I need that for my physical therapy.

Epiphany: Run that by me?

Lucky: The painkiller, it helps me during my physical rehab. sessions. I can do more, push myself further.

Epiphany: Or damage yourself more.

Lucky: You've been talking to Elizabeth.

Epiphany: She didn't decide to take away your morphine drip and neither did I. We're just nurses.  We follow doctors' orders, and this order came from Patrick Drake.

Robin: I'm worried Mrs. Dixon's condition is inoperable, which is why I wanted to get your input before I gave my prognosis.

Patrick: Why can't you just admit that you wanted to see me again?

Robin: What?

Patrick: You feel awkward and you should, the way you stormed out on me last night.

Robin: "Stormed out"? Excuse me, you practically booted me out when Miss Blondie showed up.

Patrick: If I remember correctly, you're the one that tore open the door and told Gwen that I was all hers.

Robin: That's right. I wouldn't want you if you were the last man --

Patrick: "If I was the last man on earth," I know.

Robin: Yes.

Patrick: The more you say it, the less I believe it. In fact, it's starting to sound like a come-on.

Robin: You're deluded.

Patrick: And you're busted. Could I have Mrs. Dixon's chart, please?

Nurse: Oh, he beat you to it.

P.A. Announcer: Code Blue, I.C.U. Four. Code Blue, I.C.U. Four.

Noah: Oh, Robin, I was just going over Nancy Dixon’s chart. It's a difficult procedure, but I am going to do it.

Patrick: Mrs. Dixon is my patient.

Noah: And what gave you that idea?

Patrick: Robin brought me in for a medical consult. You can't just go around cherry-picking patients from other doctors.

Noah: Well, see, Nancy Dixon’s a friend of Alan Quartermaine’s and he specifically asked me to handle the case.

Robin: I'm sorry. I should've checked with Alan first.

Patrick: You're the doctor of record. If she needs surgery, I'll be the one that's doing it.

Noah: You might want to look at the chart first.

Patrick: There is no way in hell I will ever let you do this.

Noah: I'm the senior surgeon here, and I'm telling you I'm performing this case.

Patrick: Where do you get your confidence from, huh? Prior experience?

Noah: I'm more qualified than you are.

Patrick: You'd actually risk an innocent life at a chance at redemption, wouldn't you?

P.A. Announcer: Dr. Drake at 502.

Noah: Redemption --

P.A. Announcer: Dr. Noah Drake --

Noah: You call it what you want, but I'm not losing this one.

Robin: What's that about?

Patrick: My dad did that surgery once before, a woman with the exact neurological condition.

Robin: Oh. Was it your mom?

Patrick: Yeah. I can't let him cut open this woman.

Robin: Because when he couldn't save her, he fell apart.

Patrick: If I let him fail again, it'll destroy him forever.

Ric: If Jason were arrested, it would put him on the sidelines --

Sonny: I'm not turning him over to the cops.

Ric: He'd be distracted long enough --

Sonny: Nope.

Ric: For an investigation and a trial. Sonny, even if he were eventually acquitted, it would give you time enough to come back in, reclaim your territory, and take everything back that he stole from you. It would also send a clear message to the other families that Jason’s working with you now. It would prove that he was nothing more than your enforcer. They would lose confidence in Jason, and then you can step in and reclaim your territory.

Sonny: Did you not hear what I said? I'm not playing it that way. Besides, Jason would never get arrested.

Ric: What, is he going to run?

Sonny: Well, the cops could never -- you know, could never get evidence tying Jason to Escobar’s murder. There's not going to be any fingerprints. He probably left the rifle at the scene, it's untraceable. You know, Jason can get away with anything, and you know that he's going to have an ironclad alibi.

Ric: Except for one detail -- there was an eyewitness to the murder.

Sonny: And who would that be, Ric?

Ric: You.

Nikolas: You all right?

Lucky: Yeah. If I don't walk, I don't get better.

Nikolas: Yeah, but you're obviously in a lot of pain.

Lucky: Yeah.

Nikolas: You can't afford a setback.

Lucky: I just need to push myself.

Nikolas: I don't -- Lucky, what's the rush?

Lucky: Listen, my timetable's a little shorter than my doctor's, ok?

Nikolas: All right, well, let me -- come on, let me help you.

Lucky: No, I don't need help. They just took me off my morphine, and I just went through my rehab. session anyway. I just did a little bit more than I needed to, that's all.

Nikolas: I've been laid up in this hospital, too, Lucky, I know what it feels like. It makes you crazy and all you want to do is get out, but pain is a signal that you need to slow down.

Lucky: Listen, I appreciate the advice, but I'm not going to stop my rehab. just because they cut me off of my pain meds. Ok?

Robert: Ok, that's it. I'm out of here.

Tracy: We're trapped.

Robert: Tracy, these are not difficult knots to get through.

Tracy: Do I look like Houdini?

Robert: Look, just work with me here, will you? Now, take your left hand and grab hold of the bottom knot.

Tracy: Which bottom knot?

Robert: Just -- just --

Tracy: Oh, that one?

Robert: Yeah. Now pull it through.

Tracy: Ow! It's not working.

Robert: That's because you're doing it wrong.

Tracy: Oh, thank you for that astute observation, Robert.

Robert: Allow me.

Tracy: Hurry.

Robert: Oh, for this I came back from the dead?

Tracy: Oh! You did it!

Carly: John's going to be coming home from the hospital. Things are going to be a lot easier.

Jax: Yeah, I'm going to need a lot of help with that.

Carly: Well, you're going to get a lot of help. Yes. I think you and I make surprisingly good partners -- in lots of ways. Even the hotel's doing better. This charity event is going to bring us such great publicity, especially now that I got some mega-rich hunk on the block.

Jax: Make that two. I plan to take a little stroll down the catwalk myself.

Carly: You?

Jax: Yeah. I mean, it's for a good cause, right?

Carly: Yeah, but I have plenty of men. You don't need to worry about it.

Jax: I'm not worried about it. I thought it'd be fun, you know? Create more incentive for women to show up.

Carly: Nice that you're so modest about it.

Jax: Just add my name to the list.

Carly: Absolutely not.

Jax: Whoa, whoa -- hold on a second. Give me one good reason.

Carly: Because you're not prepared for how demeaning it'll be. Men aren't used to being yelled at and groped from behind.

Jax: I'm sure that I can endure the torture. I mean, it's for the good of the hospital, isn't it?

Carly: That's cute. That's real cute.

Jax: You're going to see how cute it is when the bids start pouring in.

Carly: You're my co-host. You're going to have enough to do, ok?

Jax: Why don't you just admit what's really going on here?

Carly: Look, I am just trying to protect you. It's a lottery; you don't know what freak you might end up with.

Jax: Thank you very much. Why don't you just admit that you're actually jealous?

Nikolas: Ahem. My brother is in agony because you took him off his I.V. meds too soon. I'd like to know, is it your standard practice to operate, then move on to the next without following up with your patient?

Patrick: I'm watching his recovery closely.

Nikolas: Oh, yeah? Then why is he in so much pain that he can barely move?

Patrick: Taking him off the I.V. drip is standard for this stage of the treatment.

Nikolas: Oh. Well, then Lucky must not be a standard case. You'd know that if you were paying attention. I'll tell you what -- if you are unable to provide my brother with adequate post-op care, I'll bring in a team of specialists to do it for you.

Patrick: Look, Lucky's pain is a direct result of overdoing his physical therapy.

Nikolas: He just wants to get better.

Patrick: Well, that's not the way to accomplish it. The only thing he's doing is hurting himself and risking more damage.

Nikolas: Hmm. So taking him off his pain medication is a form of punishment --

Patrick: I'm not taking him off his pain meds, I'm taking him off the I.V. drip. These are the morphine pills that I've ordered for Lucky. I assure you, Mr. Cassadine, I'm taking care of all my patients' needs.

Nikolas: Well, that's an ego. The guy lives by the creed "Doctor's always right."

Elizabeth: I know it's hard for you to see your brother in pain, but Patrick knows what he's doing. You just have to trust him and be patient.

Sonny: In my business, we have a code, a way we do things. It's about honor and respect. Jason and I have a problem; we don't go to the cops.

Ric: Oh, ok, so you kill him instead? There's no honor in murder, Sonny.

Sonny: Jason would rather be dead than be locked up.

Ric: So you protect him by killing him, knowing that his death is going to cost you everything? Sonny, think. You're a smarter man than that. The only solution is to turn Jason in.

Sonny: It's not going to work, Ric.

Ric: Sonny, you were standing next to Escobar when he was hit. All you have to do is say that you turned to see where the shot came from and you saw Jason.

Sonny: I didn’t. I can't prove it!

Ric: You don't have to prove anything, Sonny. All you have to do is make a statement saying that you saw Jason, and Durant will issue a warrant for his arrest.

Sonny: So you want me to lie, send -- send him to prison?

Ric: No, what I want you to do is the smart and honorable thing, and that is to spare Jason’s life.

Carly: I hate to burst your bubble, but I am so not jealous.

Jax: No, I mean, I completely understand. The women that are going to be showing up for this event -- they're quite an attractive lot.

Carly: Don't get your hopes up.

Jax: Well, Sam could show up. You know, Sam and I used to have this little thing going -- it didn't last very long, but -- and then Robin. You know, Robin -- she's a dear friend of mine.

Carly: Ok, you can stop now.

Jax: And Alexis -- Alexis -- you know, I always wondered why we never consummated that marriage.

Carly: That's not funny!

Jax: You see me laughing?

Carly: You know the one thing that all these women have in common? They hate me. And most of the women that are going to be there -- they feel the same way.

Jax: Oh, come on. Since when do you care about what -- what people think about you?

Carly: I don't care what they think.

Jax: Right.

Carly: I just don't want you to start listening to them.

Jax: I'm not -- I don't -- I don't listen to -- to what they -- they don't tell me --

Carly: Oh, come on, Jax.

Jax: What?

Carly: Alexis and Robin tell you every chance they get that I'm trash and that you're too good for me and -- maybe one day you're just going to start to agree with them.

Jax: Listen to me, Alexis and Robin -- they -- they're my friends, ok, but they don't tell me who to date. I make my own choices, and I choose you.

Carly: I choose you, too.

Jax: So let's go for it. I mean, this is about making as much money as possible for the hospital, right?

Carly: You really want to auction yourself off for charity?

Jax: Absolutely.

Carly: Ok, fine. Fine. I'm going to put you up there with Nikolas. But don't forget I get to pick a ticket, and there's no guarantee that I'm not going to hook up with someone that I like as much as you --

Jax: Oh, wait, am I --

Carly: Or maybe even more.

Jax: Well, yeah, but why would you want to pick a ticket? I mean, you're going to be busy with organizing the event and everything. You don't need -- no, no ticket.

Tracy: Why am I doing this?

Robert: Because you know I'm the only man who can save your hapless husband from my ex-wife.

Tracy: Luke does not deserve being saved.

Robert: True, but you'll do anything to save the man you love from Holly.

Tracy: Would everybody just stop saying that?

Robert: Little sensitive about our feelings, are we?

Tracy: Why don't you shut up and let me work?

Robert: Ok, now, this is not that complicated. All U.S. cuffs are of a similar design. They're not complex.

Tracy: You -- some of us went to college instead of secret agent school. Besides, it's too small for me to see.

Robert: Ok, look, you take the pointy end of the earring and -- yeah, right, now move it. Three clicks to the left.

Tracy: Your left or my left?

Robert: Mine.

Tracy: Ok, so I have to take everything you're telling me to do and reverse it?

Robert: This isn't that complicated.

Tracy: All right, I -- we need to be facing the same direction. Put your arms up.

Robert: Is this really necessary?

Tracy: Do you want to get out of here or not? Now, take me through it.

Robert: All right.

Tracy: Wait! Just slowly and gently. Stop with your bad attitude.

Robert: Right. Now, slide it in gently, right? There we go.

Tracy: Yeah. I get it, I get it. I can feel it.

Lulu: We have to keep Tracy and Robert tied up until we hear from dad.

Edward: Don't you see? Robert is the one who can find Luke.

Alice: Yeah -- and hand him over to the foot-floggers.

Edward: Robert would never let Luke be harmed; they're the best of friends.

Lulu: Oh, yeah, that would explain why dad was so desperate to get away from him.

Dillon: Scarred for life! I'm scarred for life! That's -- I'm scarred!

Edward: What the hell was that?

Lulu: That sounded like Dillon.

Edward: What -- oh, look.

Robert: You may want to look at Dillon. He looks a bit traumatized.

Lulu: Wait a second, how did you get out of those?

Robert: Trick of the trade. You should oil those, and I'll say hi to daddy.

 [TV plays]

Man: Looking after your money. You do have --

[Channel changes]

Elizabeth: Hey, hey.

[TV turns off]

Elizabeth: Doctor wanted you to have this.

Lucky: Oh. Should I be thanking Nikolas?

Elizabeth: No, Dr. Drake had already written the prescription. But your brother did chew him out and threaten to get a team of specialists in here if Patrick didn't start treating you better.

Lucky: I'm sorry I missed it.

Elizabeth: Your brother's just worried about the pain you're in.

Lucky: Hmm. Well, actually, I'm -- I'm all right.

Elizabeth: Take it easy with this, ok? I'm not trying to nag you.

Lucky: You know, I have a way you can make it up to me.

Elizabeth: How's that?

Lucky: Well, those ribs from Eli’s that we had, you know, the other day, kind of made that hospital food taste even worse. So I was thinking maybe we could even order in a pizza and watch "Lost."

Elizabeth: You know what? I have a staff meeting I have to go to tonight.

Lucky: At night?

Elizabeth: Yeah, but how about this weekend?

Lucky: Sure, no problem.

Elizabeth: Ok. I'll check on you later, all right?

Lucky: Ok.

Elizabeth: I love you.

Carly: Just the man I was looking for.

Patrick: I could've told you that months ago.

Carly: Ha-ha. Look, I'm hosting a charity event at the Metro Court, and the money I raise is going to a new surgical wing, and the highlight of the show is going to be a lottery where the women get to pick their dinner partner from a group of very attractive men.

Patrick: Say no more, I'm there.

Carly: That was an easy sell.

Patrick: Well, you're raising money for a good cause, I'm your man.

Carly: Wow. That sounds great. There's going to be a lot of people there, so you need to be ready to strut your stuff.

Patrick: Elizabeth, you coming to the gala?

Elizabeth: Oh, no, I wouldn't feel right with Lucky being in the hospital. Besides, I can't afford the ticket.

Patrick: I'll treat you.

Elizabeth: No, no, thank you.

Carly: Say yes, Elizabeth. Look, the proceeds are going to a new surgical wing dedicated to Tony Jones.

Elizabeth: And you are chairing this event?

Carly: It's for a good cause.

Patrick: Look, you could use the break.  You'll be helping out the hospital; you'll help fill my quota.

Elizabeth: And what quota is that?

Patrick: Well, I try to do one good deed every week.

Elizabeth: Since when?

Patrick: Starting now. You wouldn't want to discourage me on my first try, would you?

P.A. Announcer: Dr. Scorpio, 2504.

Elizabeth: Well, when you put it like that, how could I say no?

P.A. Announcer: Dr. Robin Scorpio, call 2504.

Alexis: Oh, what a surprise -- the father of my children. All right, let me guess -- you're here to file a suit on behalf of your client against the PCPD and/or the D.A.'s office for unlawful harassment, as your client had nothing to do with the gangland-style execution last night.

Ric: No, no, no, no, no, we're both here as private citizens, and Mr. Corinthos would like to offer his voluntary testimony for your case.

Alexis: Oh. Oh, ok. So you're volunteering that you had nothing to do with the crime. In fact, you were out having din-din with your friends that can serve as witnesses.

Ric: Mr. Corinthos was an eyewitness to the murder of Miguel Escobar.

Alexis: Does your client have any idea who actually shot Miguel Escobar?

Ric: It's all right.

Sonny: Jason Morgan.

Jax: Thanks for volunteering to help out with the charity auction.

Waitress: It's for a good cause. But isn't it kind of last-minute for such a big event?

Jax: Well, I'm making sure that all the men that are being raffled off don't have time to back out.

Waitress: Hmm. I'm sure it'll come off without a hitch.

Jax: I hope so. Hey!

Skye: Hey.

Jax: Good to see you.

Skye: Good to see you.

Jax: How you feeling?

Skye: Oh, pretty good, actually.

Lorenzo: Nice to see you.

Jax: That's great. So I'm assuming you got my message about the charity?

Skye: Uh -- yeah, you know, that's why I'm here. Actually, Jax, I'm afraid that I can't make it.

Jax: Excuse me.

Elizabeth: I just feel terrible keeping this from Lucky.

Patrick: Well, it's probably better. He's not ready for it yet.

Elizabeth: Well, maybe when he gets out of the hospital, I can make him understand.

Sam: You guys drag Jason from our home, drag him down here, and you won't even tell me why?

Det. Rodriguez: It's routine questioning.

Sam: Which means that you brought him in for a crime he didn't commit and you're harassing him -- as usual.

Det. Rodriguez: We had reason to bring him in. That's all I can tell you.

Sam: I want to see Jason.

Det. Rodriguez: Not now. Why don't you just go home and come back in a few hours?

Sam: Look, why don't you let me see Jason before I call his lawyer and have him file a harassment suit against you personally. Hmm?

Alexis: You know what? Why don't you let me handle this?

Det. Rodriguez: She's all yours.

Alexis: Thank you. Sam -- you can't talk to Jason right now because he's being booked and held for interrogation.

Sam: Booked for what?

Alexis: The police have reason to believe that he's responsible for killing Miguel Escobar.

Sam: Really? And what reason would that be? Because Durant dragged me down here last night and questioned me about Escobar’s death. He didn't know anything about Jason shooting him then, he doesn't know any now for one simple reason -- he didn't do it.

Alexis: There's an eyewitness who saw Jason kill Escobar.

Sam: Well, who would do any--?

Ric: You haven't said a word since you left the station.

Sonny: I've said enough there, Ric.

Max: Emily called. She wants to know about dinner.

[Sonny sighs]

Sonny: Thanks, Max. I'll call her -- I'll call her later.

Max: All right.

Sonny: How am I supposed to tell her about this?

Ric: You did the right thing.

Sonny: You keep saying that. Right for you, maybe.

Ric: This is all going to play out the way it's supposed to.

Sonny: Well, it better because I'm not going to stand in a courtroom and -- you know, and swear in front of God, my children, everybody else that I saw Jason kill Escobar.

Ric: Ok, you're not going to have to. It's never going to go to the grand jury.

Sonny: That's your opinion.

Ric: Sonny, listen to me. What do they got? They've got a dead body in an alleyway, and two guys who disposed of the body who have nothing to do with you or Jason.

Sonny: You got an answer for everything!

Ric: Hey, I'm your brother; I want to see you come out of this clean.

Sonny: "Clean"? There's nothing clean about it, Ric!

Ric: Sonny, there is enough testimony here to fuel weeks -- if not months -- of arbitration. And while Jason is tied up, you are going to be able to step in, take back all your territory and your business allies, ok? You get it all back without having to kill Jason. Isn't that what you want?

Epiphany: So, what where you and Mr. Sexypants fighting about this time?

Robin: We weren't fighting.

Epiphany: You were raising your voices just for the fun of it?

Robin: Fine. Well, last night I went to go visit Patrick, and I thought we were getting along pretty well. But then he proved to be the predictable, pathetic do that he is.

[Epiphany chuckles]

Epiphany: Well, dog or no dog, this is a hospital. Next time, you take it outside.

Robin: You're right. Sorry. It was just -- it was just kind of the last straw, you know? Yesterday Patrick called me a coward. He said that I was living a boring, predictable life, and my come-and-go dad said the same thing to me, that I was existing instead of really living.

Epiphany: If the shoe fits --

Robin: Thanks for the sympathy.

Epiphany: I'm a nurse, not a lonely hearts club.

Robin: Ok, fine, I do admit that it drives me up a wall that I never do anything out of my daily routine. I mean, Monday it just starts all over again. You'd never believe that I am the daughter of two danger-junkie, government --

Lulu: Robin? You are my only hope. You got to help me stop your dad from getting my dad killed.

Nikolas: Lucky? Where'd you get the gun, Lucky?

Lucky: It's my service revolver that Mac gave me back after Jesse’s funeral.

Nikolas: Why you loading it now?

Lucky: Elizabeth is cheating on me.

Nikolas: How much morphine have you had today?

Lucky: I'm not imagining things. Elizabeth said she was going to be home last night, but she didn't pick up the phone.

Nikolas: Well, maybe she turned it off to get some sleep --

Lucky: And she's lying, because I can always tell.

Nikolas: What the hell is wrong with you?

Lucky: I wanted to have pizza tonight. Elizabeth said she had a staff meeting, but I saw her leaving the hospital with Patrick Drake.

Nikolas: So you grabbed a gun? That's insane.

Skye: Did you see something?

Jax: Sorry. I must be seeing things.

Skye: Who do you think it was?

Jax: No one you know. Besides, I was wrong, anyway. Now, why are you bailing out on my fundraiser?

Skye: Oh, doctor's orders. Notice how I'm not dodging your question like you dodged mine.

Jax: Duly noted. So what's the problem?

Lorenzo: Dr. Lee is concerned that Skye’s pushing herself too hard.

Skye: I'm just feeling a little tired lately.

Jax: Yeah, then by all means, you know, skip the fundraiser.

Skye: Not to mention the evening gown. Just thinking about it stresses me out. Kind of like an aircraft carrier covered in silk -- not pretty.

Jax: Come on, Skye, you're gorgeous. But if the doctor says you should take it easy, then you should take it easy.

Skye: Well, Jax, thank you for understanding.

Lorenzo: To whom do I write the check for this donation?

Skye: Oh -- General Hospital, the Tony Jones Surgical Wing, right?

Jax: That's right. Thank you very much.

Skye: You're not off the hook, though, you know. When you take your place on that stage -- hmm -- some lucky woman's going to write a huge check just for the privilege of spending her time with you. I can't wait to see who picks you.

Lorenzo: Be careful what you wish for.

Skye: Oh.

Jax: You know, um, I don't know if that's such a good idea putting Alcazar on the stage.

Skye: Are you kidding, Jax? Look at the man. He'll bring you a fortune.

Jax: It's just that he has a somewhat unsavory reputation.

Skye: He's out of the business. Oh, come on, Jax. He's willing to make a fresh start for me and the baby.

Jax: I've heard that before.

Skye: Yeah, well, not about him. Lorenzo's finished with that world that he used to live in. He's willing to do anything to make sure the baby and me are safe.

Alex: That was a good one. I almost believed for a second that Sonny was actually going to testify against Jason.

Ric: He will.

Alexis: You're an intelligent man. You must be aware of the fact that Sonny is using at least one of us as a pawn in his little war between him and Jason.

Ric: I see. And since you're far too perceptive a human being to let that happen to you, you must be talking about me.

Alexis: This is a stalling tactic. I know that. His testimony's going to magically evaporate before Jason goes to trial. He's diverting Jason on purpose so he can take back his territory.

Ric: Well, that is how Sonny sees it playing out.

Alexis: That is how it will play out.

Ric: Not if you're as good as you say you are.

Alexis: You're the one who's letting him play you like a little fiddle.

Ric: Alexis, I just gave you a great opening. Why don't you just jump on it, ok? Build an airtight case against Jason. By the time we get to court, I guarantee Sonny will testify.

Alexis: You're maneuvering Jason against Sonny.

Ric: Jason's done that to himself.

Alexis: Do you have any idea how ugly this could get?

Ric: You know, I have all the confidence in the world in your expertise, A.D.A. Davis. So, build your case, take it to court, and get Jason locked up for the rest of his life. We'll all be better off. Chinese tonight.

Alexis: Good.

[Knock on door]

Carly: Hey. Ok, I'm going to ask you a question and you have to say yes. Well, of course you're going to say yes because it's an evening of wining and dining and beautiful women.

Sonny: Not now Carly, please.

Carly: Oh, Sonny, come on. It's for a really great cause. It's for the hospital, and the women --

Sonny: I said not now. Do you have any idea what's been going on around here today?

Carly: No, I guess I don’t.

Sonny: Jason was called in for questioning --

Sam: You bastard. Jason saved your life last night, and you thank him by sending him to jail?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Nikolas: Why were you loading the gun, Lucky? You keep acting like this; you'll lose your wife.

Sam: You go down to the PCPD and retract that statement.

Carly: Why is Jason locked up and why did Sam say you put him there?

Justus: Mac has a witness who says he saw you shoot Escobar.

Jason: Anyone who says they saw me is lying.
