Robert: Fear not. I'll tell him to call you when he's safely incarcerated.

Tracy: Well, don't just stand there looking stupid. Tie him up!

Dillon: What are you doing?

Tracy: Protecting Luke!

Jax: What kind of future do I picture for you and me? What kind of future do you want?

Carly: Well, it seems really tempting to invest in a future with you and John.

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: Throw Michael and Morgan into the mix and we're one big, happy family. That sounds a little too good to be true.

[Knock on door]

Sam: Jason, I was worried --

Richie: Someone to see you, miss McCall.

Sam: I am not in the mood for your agendas, Ric.

Ric: Well, I suggest you listen to me anyway, Sam. You better stop Jason now before Sonny does.

Sam: What do you know about it?

Ric: Look, I don't care one way or another what really happens to Jason. But it will kill Sonny if he has to kill him. So my advice to you is to get your boyfriend to back off now before it's too late.

Miguel: I can't tell if you're bluffing or deluded. Either way, you're wasting time you don't have. You've been replaced, and we've all been assured that you'll be dealt with.

[Shots fired]

Sonny: Don't even bother. He's dead.

[Door opens]

Man: Escobar made a mistake, and this is the price he paid. Tell Mr. Morgan, we get the message. No one tells him how to run his organization. It's clear you're under Mr. Morgan's protection now. I guarantee you, you won't be hurt by any of us.

Jax:  What about you because I need you to help me raise my son?

Carly: I don't think you're that good of a liar, Jax

Jax: Thank you.

Carly: Here's the thing - when lied about Michael's paternity, I didn't doubt for one second that keeping A.J. in the dark was the right thing to do.

Lulu: Ok, so now what do we do?

Tracy: We keep him here.

Dillon: Ah, a little bit of rope Ė isnít going to hold Robert Scorpio, super-spy.

Tracy: Oh, please. Those days are long over.

Lulu: No, no, Dillonís right. We have to find a better way to keep him from going after dad.

Alice: How about these?

Dillon: Ooooh.

Tracy: Whoa. Where'd you get those?

Alice: They're a professional tool. Yeah, I am the dominator --

Dillon: No, no, no, no, no. Too much information. Just -- just give them.

Lulu: Ok.

Dillon: Give me the thing.

Lulu: So how long do we keep him here?

Tracy: As long as it takes. I mean, the thing is that Luke is safe.

Dillon: Whoa. Oh, there it is. Yeah, you're in love with Luke.

Tracy: Why does everybody keep accusing me of -- you know what? In fact, the only person in this house at has not thrown that ridiculous accusation in my face is --

Mac: Do you suspect foul play?

Officer: We were keeping tabs on your brother just like you asked except somehow, he -- he never made his plane.

Mac: No sign of Robert at all?

Officer: The last place he was seen was the Quartermaine home, looking for Luke Spencer.

Alexis: Mr. District Attorney.

John: Ah, my favorite new A.D.A. How do you like your new setup?

Alexis: Very nice -- a corner office with a window, fresh-cut flowers. I don't recall my husband getting those when he was A.D.A. Very nice assistant brought me coffee just the way that I like it, and a research staff at my disposal. My only worry is, why.

John: Hey, don't look a gift horse. You get what you deserve.

Alexis: That's not necessarily a positive. You have an angle. I'm just trying to figure out what it is.

John: Well, you wound me to the quick. I give you everything you ask for; I even promise you never have to prosecute Sonny or Jason. What do I get for all my trouble? Gratuitous suspicion.

Alexis: Exactly. That's what I'm worried about.

John: Hey, well, maybe I just like seeing your pretty, smiling face first thing in the morning, huh?

Det. Rodriguez: Excuse me. There's been a shooting -- Miguel Escobar.

John: Was Escobar the shooter or the shootee?

Det. Rodriguez: We found his body in an alley off Durham, bullet to the chest. They did him somewhere else and dumped him, coroner's thinking within the last two or three hours. It's all very clean.

John: Well, that sounds like a professional hit. Tell Mac he might as well pick up Corinthos and Morgan.

Ric: Jason needs to turn the business back over to Sonny.

Sam: Well, Sonny knows what he has to do first.

Ric: No, without the ultimatum, Sam, because ultimately, we all know that Sonny's going to be with Emily for the long haul.

Sam: Why can't that be enough for him? Why does Sonny always have to get his own way?

Ric: Because Sonny started this business. He runs it, Sam. And nobody has the right to steal it out from under him, no matter what their reasons, especially somebody he trusted so implicitly. I don't think he's going to tolerate it.

Sam: Nothing would make you happier than if Sonny killed Jason. You are the anti-Jason. Why don't -- why don't you try this one on for size? If you don't talk Sonny down, he may be the one who winds up dead.

Tracy: The idea that I am in love with Luke Spencer is absurd. You know when I fall in love, I fall in love with royalty --

[Robert groans]

Tracy: Billionaires -- men of standing. Not selfish, immoral, debauched losers.

Robert: Oh, my -- make that noise go away.

Tracy: What noise?

Robert: Oh, what -- who's there? Why is this room so dark? Where is everyone?

Lulu: Oh, God! We hit him too many times. He's blind and it is our fault.

Carly: The secret that you're keeping about Nikolas and John, it keeps you awake at night. And during the day, it shows itself when you least expect it, especially your doubts about being a father.

Jax: I love that boy as if he were my own.

Carly: I'm not saying I doubt it. I'm talking about you. You know, that part of your brain where your conscience lives, wondering if you're doing the right thing or not?

Jax: What are you saying -- you don't have a conscience?

Carly: Not when it came to my baby.  No, I didnít.

Jax: What are you getting at, Carly?

Carly: I'm saying if you're going to give in to your second thoughts and you're going to tell Nikolas that he is John's father, then you need to do it now. You do it now before you bond one more day with that baby. The longer you wait, Jax, the harder it's going to be.

Jax: All right. Because now he's young enough to not understand, which is a good thing, right?

Carly: But if you wait, he will understand.

Jax: I know.

Carly: You are becoming his whole world and the worst thing you can do is let that little boy feel safe and secure and then take it all away from him. That's not right.

Jax: You're saying I should come clean?

Carly: I think you're a great father. But pick one path or the other and stick with it. Don't tell yourself that it's going to be ok later because it wonít.

Jax: I'll tell you what -- I will promise if I tell Nikolas the truth, I'll tell you first.

Emily: Sonny, you're hurt.

Sonny: It's not my blood.

Emily: What happened?

Sonny: Jason, he --

Emily: Oh, my God. What -- what about Jason?

Sonny: He saved my life.

Emily: Then -- it's over. We can go back to normal.

Sam: You don't get it, Ric. There is no power struggle. It's over. Jason's in charge. Sonny's alive because Jason let him live.

Ric: Well, then I guess Sonny should be grateful, right? I thought you understood Sonny, but apparently, you donít.

Sam: No, you don't understand Sonny and you certainly don't understand Jason. He can get to Sonny any time he wants, so why don't you go do what you do best, suck up to your brother, convince him to back down? Heck, you know what? Maybe he might actually listen to you this time. Wouldn't that be nice?

Ric: Why are you making me the enemy? Don't we both want the same thing here?

Sam: No. What you want is all about you.

[Knock on door]

Richie: Detective Rodriguez.

Det. Rodriguez: Sorry for the interruption.

Ric: What can we do for you, detective?

Det. Rodriguez: There was a mob hit tonight, and there are questions that need to be answered.

Sam: Jason's not here.

Det. Rodriguez: That's ok, because I'm here for you.

Mac: Good evening, Alice. I'm looking for my brother.

Alice: You mean the dead one?

Mac: Formerly dead, unless you know something I donít.

Alice: No, I don't know anything. I just work here.

Mac: I'd like to ask the family some questions.

Alice: Oh, well, it's late and everyone's in bed already.

Monica: Oh.

Alice: At least they're supposed to be.

Monica: Mac, is something wrong?

Mac: I'm here about Robert.

Edward: Well, we have nothing but a bunch of deadbeats in this house, so you can take your pick.

Mac: Robert was supposed to leave for the Markham Islands tonight.

Edward: I know. He was going to try to find Luke Spencer and put him in jail, where he belongs. I always say, "It just takes one to find one."

Mac: Robert never made his flight. The last place he was seen was here.

Monica: Well, Mac, uh, I'd love to help you out, but actually I don't have a clue. Would you excuse me?

Edward: You know, Mac, this house has seen nothing but misery and chaos since my unfortunate daughter got drunk and married Luke Spencer.

Alice: Like this family was normal before that happened.

Mac: So you haven't seen my brother?

Edward: Uh -- no, Mac. I wouldn't worry about foul play. No, no, no. I think that Robert Scorpio and Luke Spencer are just off on another of their half-baked adventures, but I'll tell you one thing -- if Luke Spencer gets himself incarcerated, I am not posting bail. No, sir. It's good riddance to bad rubbish, both of them. Oh, but I mean, we'll -- we'll certainly call you if we hear anything, hmm?

Mac: I'd appreciate it.

Edward: Yeah.

Alice: Good night, commissioner.

Edward: Alice? I don't think I want to know what you plan to do with that frying pan, but I do know that I need a brandy now.

Monica: This man's been hit so many times, I'm surprised his brains aren't completely scrambled.

Dillon: They're not?

Monica: Oh, no, nope. There's nothing wrong with him.

Lulu: You were scamming us.

Robert: I just wanted a cooler head to prevail.

Dillon: Damn, you're good!

Robert: Monica, I'm being held here against my will.

Monica: Yeah, the rope and the handcuffs were my first clue.

Tracy: He has to stay here until Luke is safe.

Robert: Look, the longer you keep me here, the more time Holly has to work her number on Luke.

Dillon: Ah, ah -- see? Don't listen to him, mom. He's slippery.

Robert: Let me rephrase that. The more time that beautiful, voluptuous Holly has to work her desirable, amorous clutches into your all-too-available husband.

Alexis: Why is Miss McCall here?

John: Well, we couldn't find Jason, so we brought in his fiancťe or, as I like to call her, shark bait, Jason being the shark.

Alexis: Nice to see that your tactics haven't gotten more ethical.

John: Oh, did we forget to bring in your soapbox this morning?

Alexis: I just happen to believe in the rule of law, no matter how inconvenient it is.

John: Mm-hmm, right. This coming from the woman who got Manny Ruiz turned loose with a slap on the wrist.

Alexis: Rule of law. I'd like to question Sam McCall myself.

John: Whatever happened to "I don't want to have anything to do with Sonny or Jason"? I thought I was doing you a favor.

Alexis: New rule -- I decide what counts as a favor.

Skye: Georgie. What happened?

Georgie: They arrested him for stealing a car. Can you believe it? Just because he has a record, anyone who runs a red light in this town is -- they're going to bring him in.

Skye: All right. I'll put up bail.

Lorenzo: No, you wonít.

Carly: I want you to believe that whatever you do, I will back you up.

Jax: Thank you. You know, I still have a decision to make, though.

Carly: You're going to make the right decision. You're a good father and you're a good man.

[Knock on door]

Jax: Damn it.

Carly: This always happens to us.

Jax: Yeah, I know.

Carly: Ahem. It's my mom.

Bobbie: Hey.

Carly: Hey. Hi.

Bobbie: Oh, Jax. Oh, hi.

Jax: Hi.

Bobbie: I'm so glad you're here -- you're both here -- because we have a crisis.

Jax: Ok.

Sonny: Any other time, this is something that I would not discuss with you. What I do, the less you know, the better for everyone. But because this involves your brother, I'm going to tell you. I had a meeting with the heads of the families. They told me to my face that I had been cut out of any business dealings and I was about to be eliminated.

Emily: You mean "killed."

Sonny: Yeah. This blood is -- was Escobarís. He's the one who challenged me and told me I was about to die.

Emily: Did you kill him?

Sonny: Jason did.

Emily: What, you saw Jason?

Sonny: The shot came from across the street, through the window, and it hit Escobar right in the heart. Ok? Now, nobody misses that accurately. It was Jason.

Emily: Protecting you.

Sonny: Listen to me, ok? You have no idea what's about to happen.

Emily: Jason had a clear shot and he killed your enemy. That's all I need to know.

Ric: Thanks, Max. Sonny, I'm sorry to interrupt, but there's been some trouble -- I see you already know that. Are you all right?

Sonny: I'm fine.

Max: I'll be outside.

Ric: No, wait a minute, Max. Sonny, you need to get cleaned up. The police are on their way here right now. We got to be ready for them.

Sam: So now that you're working for Durant, you have the excuse you've been looking for. Go for it; take your best shot.

Alexis: I want you to look over my right shoulder and tell me who's looking back at you.

Sam: Durant.

Alexis: Then I suggest to you that you say nothing.

Robert: You never saw sparks fly the way they did between Luke and Holly. I mean, sparks like that -- they could start the great fire of London, but never fights. I mean, even after she fell in love with me and we got married, those two would walk into a room together and just spontaneously self-combust, all the time.

Tracy: You'd say anything to get out of here.

Robert: Your husband's headed towards the Markham Islands, a place where there's a -- a healthy bounty on his hide, and they don't even serve the milk of human kindness. Now -- I mean, if I was Luke, and I wanted to escape, I'd head to a place like -- oh, Turkey. Siberia. But not a place where they're going to have a whole lot of red-hot thingamajigs to stick in every orifice in my body. But that's just me.

Monica: How do you know that Luke went to the Markhams?

Robert: Holly sent up an S.O.S. Lukey-poo to the rescue.

Lulu: That's my dad -- long on courage, short on common sense.

Robert: Now, when Luke risks his life for Holly, how do you think she's going to express her gratitude? I mean, Holly takes the reward system very seriously.

Tracy: That's speculation.

Robert: That's true. Luke is a happily married man. He'd never cheat on you.

Tracy: Ok, that's it. You're out of here.

Carly: Is everything ok with John?

Bobbie: Oh, John's fine. He's fine. I checked on him before I left the hospital and he was asleep. He had his eyes closed. He had that cute little look he gets on his face.

Carly: What's the crisis, mom?

Bobbie: Oh. Well, I want to put together a fundraiser in Tonyís honor for a new surgical wing, and we need a place to hold it, like the Metro Court.

Carly: You had to rush right over and ask?

Bobbie: Yeah, well, time is money.

Jax: Well, I -- I mean, I can check on the -- if the restaurant's available on the -- I can check on the dates.

Bobbie: Oh, actually, it is, because I already checked. So, sweetheart, I was just wondering if you would be willing to give us the place for nothing.

Carly: Almost nothing. I mean, there's staff and --

Jax: No, that's fine. I can -- I mean, I can cover the -- I'll cover the costs, yeah.

Bobbie: Oh.

Carly: Great. There you go. Crisis averted.

Bobbie: Thank you.

Carly: We can go over everything tomorrow.

Bobbie: No -- tomorrow? What, are you kidding me? Tomorrow? Here, let's talk now, ok? Because I got a lot of ideas. I want to hear yours, and I'm very organized. I made some notes. And I'm actually more organized than I look.

Alexis: I know you don't want to trust me, so stop thinking of me as the A.D.A. and think of me as someone who has been in the middle of Sonny and Jason and Ric for a very long time, just like you.

Sam: Please, don't compare us, Alexis.

Alexis: Don't be naive, Sam. I know what's going on, and it is not pleasant. Now, if I were you, I would go home, I would pack my bags, and I would leave before it was too late.

Lorenzo: You shouldn't be here.

Skye: Georgie called. She was upset.

Lorenzo: Well, you should have had her call me.

Skye: And leave your son here waiting?

Lorenzo: Better him than you. You have our baby to think of.

Skye: And your son happens to be my baby's brother. Now, he needed his family, and I'm not sorry I came. I would do it again.

Lorenzo: You won't have to.

John: Mr. Alcazar, you didn't happen to cross paths with Miguel Escobar today, did you?

Lorenzo: I didn't know he was in town.

John: No, he was. He's dead now.

Lorenzo: I'm here for my son, that's all.

John: Oh. Well, go on. You're not the fish I'm trying to catch, anyway. Officer, you want to let Mr. Alcazar have a few minutes with his kid?

Diego: Hey, pop. You know, I'd give you a hug, but --

Lorenzo: What the hell is going on?

Alexis: A man was shot tonight. His body was dumped in an alley. Look, I know when you're around violence all the time, you can become desensitized to it. Donít. That body was a human being. If you go now, I will make sure that you are not involved in any prosecution.

Sam: And I'm supposed to believe you?

Alexis: What is going on between Sonny and Jason right now has turned deadly. You need to know that. And I can't imagine that you would want to be a part of that. I'm also pretty certain that Escobarís murder was Jasonís first move as a mob boss, and it won't be his last. He makes his living as a killer. You need to protect yourself.

Sam: Jason is my family. I don't need protection from him, and certainly not because you say so. And I don't walk out on the people I love.

Alexis: Being dependent on someone is not the same as loving them.

Sam: Look, I get where you're coming from. You think you can help me. I appreciate it. But really, save your breath. I love Jason. I'm not going to abandon him. So, now what can you do for me?

Ric: Sonny --

Sonny: What?

Ric: Let me do the talking.

Mac: Sonny, we may have a problem.

Ric: Why don't you tell me about it, Mac?

Sonny: Look, just save me --

Mac: You may want to do this privately.

Sonny: Say it. Say it. What is it you have to say, Mac?

Mac: You are a person of interest in the murder of Miguel Escobar. We'd like to take you downtown for questioning.

Ric: Mac, are you arresting Mr. Corinthos?

Mac: No.

Ric: Ok, then I don't see any reason for you to bother him. I have an injunction here barring your department from any more harassment of Mr. Corinthos. No more routine questioning based on historical bias rather than the actual facts of the case. However, if you would like for me to accompany you downtown, I would be happy to answer any questions on Mr. Corinthos' behalf.

Mac: Then that's how we'll handle it.

Emily: Your brother seems to know what he's doing.

Sonny: Yeah, he's good with dealing with all the red tape.

Emily: What are you going to do?

Max: Boss, Bernieís here.

Bernie: Ms. Quartermaine. Mr. Corinthos.

Sonny: Jason sent you?

Bernie: Yes, sir, with a message.

Sonny: Go on, Bernie. I've been expecting this.

Bernie: The message is that he is going to continue to protect you, but you can't go to any more meetings. You can't involve yourself in the business on any level. That's the message.

Sonny: That's the message?

Bernie: Yes, sir.

Sonny: Yeah, go ahead. You can go.

Emily: What does it mean?

Sonny: Ok. I'm going to have to handle this tonight. Get Jason here.

Carly: You know what? I think you've given me so much information that I need to sleep on it, so you should probably go.

Bobbie: What are you talking about? Wait a minute, where's my snack?

Carly: Right here. And you know what? You can take the plate with you.

Bobbie: Why am I getting the bum's rush here?

Carly: Mom, I love you. I love you so much. And if you would call before you come, then we could plan something really, really special -- say bye.

Bobbie: Oh. Bye, Jax.

Jax: Yeah, good to see you. Great -- great ideas.

Bobbie: Bye.

Carly: Oh. Wow, was that much?

Jax: What did we just agree to?

Carly: I have no idea. But it's going to be great. It's going to be fantastic.

Jax: Ok.

Carly: Sit down.

Jax: Ooh. What is this?

Carly: This is my bedroom. And if we tiptoe up the stairs, the boys won't hear us.

Jax: Well -- I mean, not that I'm complaining or anything, but what changed your mind?

Carly: Well, come with me and you'll find out. I put a lock on the door.

Jax: Ok. Ok.

Tracy: Monica, you are the only person in this freezer with an ounce of sense. Do something!

Monica: Ok. Alice, that knot looks a little weak. You want to try a sheep shank?

Alice: Good idea, Dr. Q.

Tracy: Do it and you're fired!

Alice: You're not the boss of me, she is.

Lulu: I thought you were all about protecting my father.

Tracy: I am trying to protect your father from that con artist Holly. And if you ever expect to see your father again, you should be working with me here.

Lulu: He can take care of himself.

Tracy: Oh, good. So he runs off with Holly, and none of us ever see him again!

Lulu: If we let you and super-spy go, he's going to put dad in jail.

Dillon: Ok, stop, stop. Wait, we can't do this. This is wrong.

Tracy: Oh, my darling boy, I did raise you right.

Dillon: No, actually, I'm going to move you farther away from Robert --

Tracy: Oh.

Dillon: So you can't use each other to get free. That's better.

Tracy: Monica?

Monica: Hmm?

Tracy: What do you get out of this? You don't give a crap where Luke sleeps.

Monica: No. I'm just having a good time seeing you tied up.

Lulu: You know what your problem is, stepwitch? You're letting Robert push all of your buttons.

Tracy: No, I'm not.

Lulu: He is using all of your insecurities about my dad to get you to cooperate. I know this because he did the same thing to me. The fact that you are in love with my father --

Tracy: I'm not in love with Luke! I would rather drink a poisoned martini.

Alice: Good grief. Almost forgot.

Robert: Tracy, it's a good thing you're not in love with Luke. He'll just break your heart, now that Holly's back.

Tracy: She's a two-bit tart.

Robert: So beautiful.

Tracy: She's a grifter.

Robert: And really good in bed.

Tracy: I have to get out of here! Untie me now!

Edward: Alice?

Alice: I'm here, I'm here.

Edward: Where's my bedtime tea? And -- and where are the cookies?

Alice: I know. I'm sorry. I forgot, Mr. Q.

Edward: Oh, you forgot? Like you forgot to put away the frying pan? Tell me something. Does Cook know that you've absconded with one of her utensils? What's going on, Alice?

Alice: Oh, just -- just the usual stuff, you know.

Edward: Oh -- "just the usual stuff"? Like your obsession with Luke Spencer, huh?

[Edward snickers]

Alice: I'll get your tea.

Edward: Alice, you know something about Robert Scorpioís disappearance, don't you?

Skye: Georgie, what were you doing with Diego? And where is your husband?

Georgie: He got a call from Lulu, some kind of emergency at the Q's. I ran into Diego on my way to the market. That's it. We stopped to say hi, suddenly cops were there shaking him down. They dragged him here. It was awful.

Skye: Ok. Ok, Georgie, you know I'm very fond of you, so I say this with concern. You are a married woman. Flirting with Diego is flirting with disaster.

Georgie: Skye, Diegoís my friend. That's it. If Luke were in some kind of trouble, you couldn't just abandon him.

Lorenzo: You stole a car? Why would you do that?

Diego: Oh, come on, pop. You know the drill. You got a record, the cops think you're nothing but trouble. You know, it comes with the whole "being an ex-con, son of a criminal package" deal thing.

Lorenzo: You're saying you didn't steal it?

Diego: Tranquilo. Don't worry. These cops have nothing on me. They have no evidence, they don't have a car. They have nothing against me.

Lorenzo: So it's already in the chop shop?

Diego: Hey, guy's got to make a living, right?

Lorenzo: My son does not need to be involved in things like this.

Diego: yeah, well, you can tell that to the one who hasn't been born yet.

Ric: Oh, there you are.

Alexis: Hi.

Ric: Listen, in case you're waiting for them to bring Sonny in, you can forget it. And F.Y.I., I filed a court order barring any more nuisance arrests.

Alexis: Yes, I know. I -- I received your order, Mr. Lansing.

Ric: Hmm.

Alexis: It was premature, groundless, and doesn't apply to this case.

Ric: Remarkable.

Alexis: Thank you.

Ric: It was an observation, not a compliment. So, did you even punch the clock, or did Durant bring you in here to get you all warmed up?

Alexis: I figured it was never too soon to serve the citizens of this great city.

Ric: Oh, I'll remember to be grateful. For you.

Alexis: What's that?

Ric: That is all that's left of our partnership.

Sonny: You should go to work, because you shouldn't have to be here for this.

Emily: I know this is your business, Sonny, but Jason saved your life. If you just give him some more time --

Sonny: What Jason did -- this idea that you have that he was protecting me -- sending Bernie here to tell me what I can and can't do, who I'm allowed to deal with -- it's unacceptable.

Max: Boss?

Sam: Sonny, I don't know where Jason is, so I came instead.

Emily: I'm going to leave you two.

Sam: Thank you.

Sonny: If Jason can't show me enough respect to be here, it's on you, Sam.

Alice: I could hear Tracy yelling all the way upstairs. Thank God Mr. Q's ears aren't what they used to be. But if you don't mind me saying -- someone should be gagged.

Monica: I vote for Tracy.

Tracy: Monica, you are a trusted physician with a thriving practice.

Monica: And that sounds so boring when you say it.

Lulu: I heard you had your share of trouble back in the day.

Tracy: Uh-uh, her trouble's just beginning.

Lulu: I say gag both of them.

Robert: Hey, wait a minute. I -- I'm minding my own business. How long do you intend to --

Lulu: Ok, we have to get in touch with my dad because he will tell us what to do.

Monica: No, no, no, Luke knows that Robertís after him.

Lulu: Yeah, but if Robertís right, and dad's distracted by Holly, we need to give him a wake-up call.

Tracy: Somebody upstairs is going to notice that I'm missing!

Monica: No, Tracy, what they're going to notice is blessed peace and quiet.

Dillon: So that's it, then. I guess we leave them both here until we get Luke home.

Carly: You know, we could do better. We could do better. It's just too ordinary.

Jax: I thought it was pretty damn good.

Carly: Are you kidding? Everyone does it the same. There's nothing original anymore.

Jax: That was pretty original.

Carly: What are you talking about?

Jax: Well, what do you mean? What do you mean? Well, what are you talking about?

Carly: I'm talking about my mother's benefit. There hasn't been an original idea since the Nurses' Ball.

Jax: Well, yeah. Well, yeah, that's -- you know -- yeah, that's what she -- that's what she said.

Carly: I mean, we need to shake things up. Of course, there are no more original ideas, but we need to think of the last fantastic party. We just need to make it better. Shake things up.

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: What?

Jax: I was just -- I thought you were referring to the sex, you know.

Carly: Oh.

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: Maybe I was.

Jax: Whoa. Hmm?

Lorenzo: Diego's about to be released. I'll take you home.

Skye: Oh. It's ok. I don't mind waiting.

Lorenzo: I do. He doesn't want my help.

Skye: But he does want your attention.

Lorenzo: I don't have any more to spare right now. I'll feel better with you and the baby at home.

Skye: Ok, you know what? Wake-up call -- you don't get to make decisions for me just because you're my baby's father.

Lorenzo: Skye, will you humor me? I'm overcompensating. I found a son and I'm losing him almost as quickly. That cannot happen with you and our child.

Mac: Your bail's been posted. You're free to go. There'll be an investigation. You'll have to show up for the preliminary hearing.

Georgie: Don't worry, Diego. They can't get you for something you didn't do.

Diego: Hey, I'm -- I'm sorry I got you in the middle of all this.

Mac: Yeah, if you mean that, you'll make it the last time. You go home to your husband.

Diego: You know, that's really good advice.

Georgie: He's just being a dad. Speaking of which, where's yours?

Diego: Listen, I appreciate your help, ok? But don't ever call my father again.

Georgie: Ok. That doesn't mean I can't talk to mine. You've paid your debt to society. They have no right to harass you.

Alexis: If you didn't like our desk, you could have just traded it in. You didn't have to dismantle it.

Ric: Well, the desk wasn't the problem. It was just the notion that we could actually have a law firm inside of our living room.

Alexis: What'd you do with the rest of it?

Ric: Chopped it up for firewood.

Alexis: Nice work! Very environmental. You didn't waste any of it.

Ric: Well, thank you.

Alexis: So here we are, back right where we started.

Ric: Mm-hmm. Opposite sides of the fence. Oh, and by the way, this harassment by your department of Mr. Corinthos concerning the Escobar murder case -- it's got to cease.

Alexis: When did Sonny become your client?

Ric: I'm merely handling this matter for Mr. Corinthos.

Det. Rodriguez: Durant's looking for you, Ms. Davis.

Alexis: I'll be right there.

Ric: Well, I guess we can continue this later, but right now, I'm starving.

Alexis: I am, too.

Ric: Hmm.

Alexis: Can you bring home sushi for dinner?

Ric: Of course. You know how I love what you do with chopsticks.

[Alexis laughs]

Alexis: See you later.

Ric: Ok.

Alexis: Bye.

Sam: Sonny, Jason didn't refuse to be here. He never got your message. He hasn't been home since I was brought in for -- for questioning on Escobarís death. They -- they think Jason did it, so they brought me in hoping he would show up.

Sonny: But he didnít.

Sam: Alexis, of all people, got me out of the situation that I was in.

Sonny: Escobar leaned on Jason to kill me. Turns out, Escobar didn't have much influence on Jason.

Sam: He saved your life.

Sonny: No, what Jason did is he let me live to make a statement to the families. He's in charge now. He takes orders from no one.

Sam: Sonny, he still saved your life. He let everybody know that you were under his protection.

Sonny: I don't need protection from Jason! He works for me. He takes orders from me. You tell Jason that I have to defend myself. I won't hesitate. I will kill him, Sam.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Lucky: Where were you last night?

Patrick: We're still on for this evening?

Elizabeth: He's getting suspicious. I hate lying to Lucky.

Woman: Carly Corinthos is planning some big charity event.

Carly: I was about to ask Nikolas out on a date.

Nikolas: You were?

Ric: You're going to do it, aren't you -- you're going to call someone to take Jason out.
