[Knock on door]

Carly: Hey. Is Sam around?

Jason: There's a question you've never bothered to ask before, Carly. What is going on?

Carly: Nothing. I just came by here last night, Sam wasn't here, and I saw the college books and brochures laying around.

Jason: Yeah, she's -- she's thinking about taking some college classes, yeah.

Carly: Then going on to be a lawyer?

Jason: Maybe.

Carly: What? I'm just saying it's the last thing you'd expect. You know, Sam of all people suddenly deciding to become a lawyer? Almost like it's in her blood.

Jason: Carly --

Carly: Sam is Alexis' daughter. Wow. Oh, man.

[Carnival music plays]

Kristina: I could do that.

Alexis: You could do that? I'm going to buy you some of that -- that's pretty cool.

Kristina: Oh, look here, mommy.

[Alexis gasps]

Alexis: Do you want to go see? Come on.

Ric: Enjoying the view?

Sam: Um -- I was just passing through, actually.

Ric: Like yesterday at the Metro Court? It goes way beyond coincidence, don't you think, spying on Alexis? I know why.

Noah: Hey, Epiphany, how about another shot of morphine?

Epiphany: Now you want it?

Noah: Yeah, I'm in pain.

Epiphany: And Patrickís due in, and you want to hide your symptoms from him. Do you think you can cover up the fact that you're dying from your own son? The boy's a royal pain, but he can read a chart.

Noah: I taught him everything he knows.

Epiphany: Like how to pickle a liver? How many ways can there be?

Patrick: How's he doing?

Epiphany: No change.

Noah: Hey, you know, don't bother reading that chart. It just says I'm dying, and I -- I told the nurse to put a donor-refusal note on the paperwork.

Patrick: I get it, ok?

Noah: So I'm hoping that --

Patrick: You want to die and I've already agreed to let you. End of discussion.

[Music plays]

Dillon: Hey, I got to pick up some class notes on campus. Do you want me to meet you at the carnival after your shift or --

Georgie: Yeah.

Dillon: Yeah?

Georgie: Yeah, sounds good.

Dillon: You ok?

Georgie: I need to tell you something. It's no big deal, but I just -- I should've told you sooner.

Dillon: Tell me what?

Georgie: I was almost hit by a car the other day. It was not an accident, and I was not alone.

Singer: Deception takes its toll

Dillon: Diego. Yeah. Of course.

Georgie: Dillon, I met him because I needed to tell him that we couldn't be friends anymore, that I love you and my marriage to you means more than anything.

Dillon: Ok, all right, what about the car? Tell me about the car.

Georgie: A sedan came speeding toward us. Diego pushed me out of the way, and the car just drove --

Dillon: What? Georgie, you were almost killed and you didn't bother -- you didn't bother to tell me that?

Georgie: There's more. A few days before that happened, Diego was being mugged at the pier and I tried to stop it.

Dillon: What?

Georgie: Manny -- wait, wait. Manny Ruiz came in and -- and chased the muggers off. I didn't get hurt and I'm fine.

Dillon: Come here, come here. Ok. Let me get this straight. Two attempts were made on Diegoís life, and you happened to be there for both?

Georgie: No, no, Dillon, I -- I wasn't with him --

Dillon: No -- listen to me, listen to me, what is going on with you? Why would you go anywhere near Diego if you know he's that dangerous? Huh?

Georgie: Dillon, he was being mugged at the pier. What did you expect me to do --?

Dillon: I expected you to tell me!

Georgie: I want to be with you, Dillon. I love you. I love you.

Dillon: Then why are you lying to my face?

Jesse: Hey.

Maxie: Hi. So, did you get the night off?

Jesse: I am all yours for the evening.

Maxie: Ok, great. So, yesterday you were talking about the carnival in the park. Maybe we should check that out.

Jesse: Ok.

Maxie: What, don't you want to go?

Jesse: I do. But do you want to go because you know you'll have a good time with me, or because you know Georgieís going to be there and you want to keep an eye out on her?

Maxie: Both.

Elizabeth: Now that you're a father, you have certain responsibilities -- like killing spiders and going fishing and winning toys at the carnival for our son. Please say you'll come with us.

Lucky: I'd love to, but --

Elizabeth: You can't watch Manny all the time, Lucky. And these family memories are worth more than any money you're going to make from some stupid extra shift.

Lucky: It's not just about the money.

Elizabeth: I know, I know -- you want to protect us.

Lucky: No, it's about getting rid of Manny for good.

[Lucky sighs]

Lucky: Listen, if I can just get a promotion on this collar, that means I can make more money and have more time to spend with you and Cameron.

Elizabeth: Just be careful, ok? Don't take any unnecessary risks.

Jason: You don't come in here and snoop around, ok? You have no right going through people's papers.

Carly: I didn't go through any papers. It was right there, wide open.

Jason: You let yourself in; you were snooping around --

Carly: No.

Jason: Yes or no, Carly?

Carly: No, no, I -- that door was open. I came in and I didn't have to snoop too far, because I came over here to leave you a note, and that file was open in plain sight. It's got to be mind-blowing. I mean, Alexis is going to be your mommy-in-law?

Jason: You know that this is not a joke, right?

Carly: Jason, this is so awful that you have to laugh.

Jason: For what it's worth, don't say a word, Carly.

Carly: I'm not going to say anything. Does Sonny know?

Jason: Yeah, he knows. You know, it's obviously thrown him, and he wants to keep it quiet.

Carly: Yeah, I bet he does. Well, you're going to have a hard time doing that. I just caught Sam spying on Alexis at my hotel, and she was acting really squirrelly.

Jason: Did you say something to her?

Carly: No. She bolted before I had a chance to look, I'm telling you, if she keeps this up, Alexis is going to know something's going on.

Jason: You know what? Sam needs to be careful, then.

Carly: Jason, Samís vulnerable. Look, I went through the exact same thing with Bobbie. She's going to want to know her mother, and sooner or later, she's going to confront her. What are you going to do then?

[Carnival music plays]

Ric: You irrationally blame Alexis for the stillbirth of your daughter, as well as your brother's death, when that really isn't the truth.

Sam: And you think she's completely innocent. I know. We've been through this a hundred times before.

Ric: Well, I -- I'd be happy to get off your back, but you just don't seem to get it. You're starting to become obsessed here, Sam.

Sam: And you would know a thing or two about obsessive behavior, wouldn't you, Ric?

Ric: This is the second time in two days that I've outright caught you stalking Alexis, so you tell me -- why shouldn't I be alarmed, Sam?

Sam: Ok, you want to know why I've been watching your wife?

Ric: Yeah.

Sam: I will tell you.

Sonny: So -- you want to make peace?

Lorenzo: I stopped by last night, but you weren't here, so I spoke to Jason.

Sonny: I want to hear it directly from you.

Lorenzo: After Manny's operation, I found proof that he was faking his personality transformation. I used it to blackmail him.

Sonny: You planned to put Manny to work against me?

Lorenzo: I got him a key to his ankle monitor. He was free to come and go as he pleased.

Sonny: And I -- I'm supposed to believe, what, that you've come to realize that Manny is a psycho and you don't want to work with him? Why shouldn't I just assume that this is just another setup?

Lorenzo: Skye is pregnant with my child, and that has changed everything for me. Sonny, you know what it's like to be the father of a newborn. Nothing is more important than the safety and security of that child. I want to avoid a war at all costs.

Sonny: It's a little too late for that.

Lorenzo: I've told you I tried to reach you. Unfortunately, Jason wouldn't consider a truce. Is he making decisions for you now?

Noah: Hey, if you've got a miracle alternative to a liver transplant or a way to keep my liver from failing, bring it on.

Patrick: Don't patronize me.

Noah: Patrick, I willfully and with full understanding of the consequences, destroyed my own health. How can I justify putting myself on a transplant list above people more deserving?

Patrick: Ok, you're going to die within days if we don't do anything.

Noah: And the poor woman who died because I took a liver meant for them?

Patrick: We went over this during the epidemic. No one has the right to judge the value of one person's life versus another.

Noah: I do when one of them is mine.

Patrick: So yours is the only opinion that matters.  Screw everybody else who cares about you, including your son?

Noah: You know what? Why -- why don't you take a vacation? You know, take your beside manner to a beach in the Bahamas, and when you get back, I'll be gone.

Robin: When are you going to tell Noah that you put him on the donor list without his consent?

Georgie: Dillon, I was trying to avoid what's happening right now.

Dillon: What's happening right now? Huh? Me being worried about you? Me being terrified that your soft spot for Diego is going to get you killed someday.

Georgie: Dillon, I knew you were going to be mad!

Dillon: You've just admitted to me that you told the cops about this yesterday, and you didn't bother to fill me in --

Georgie: Dillon, I wanted to tell you sooner. I did, I swear. But you had a film presentation, and -- and I was planning on telling you right after, like I just did!

Dillon: Wow, you got an answer for everything, don't you?

Georgie: Dillon, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I screwed up. I'm so sorry.

Dillon: Our trust is everything. Don't make me lose that now.

Georgie: No, no, no, donít. Dillon, you can trust me. I swear, I swear I'm going to stay away from Diego. I love you. I love you so much.

Carly: Jason, from the minute I found out that Bobbie was my mother; I was fixed on knowing everything about her. It's like it gave me some kind of power to know that we had a connection while she didn't, and I wanted to make her pay for abandoning me, and I can guarantee you that Samís feeling the same way.

Jason: You're probably right. I think that's part of why she started going back to school.

Carly: I can tell you right now that every move she makes from this point on is about Alexis being her mother.

Jason: Sam says she doesn't want Alexis to know.

Carly: I didn't want Bobbie to know. Sam has it worse. At least Bobbie was a nice person. Alexis happens to be --

Jason: Ok, we know what Alexis is.

Carly: If Sam is anything like me, she is going to make sure that Alexis pays -- even if she has to destroy her life.

Jason: And Alexis will find out that Samís her daughter.

[Carnival music plays]

Alexis: Thanks. Honey, I got you cotton candy. Come here, I want to show you something.

Sam: I wasn't stalking Alexis. I was walking through the carnival, I happened to see her, so I stopped.

Ric: Hmm, to spy on her.

Sam: To avoid her. I don't want confrontation, Ric, especially in front of Kristina.

Ric: Ok, if you wanted to avoid her, why didn't you move off instead of lurking in the shadows?

Sam: What, are you kidding me? I can't come to a carnival and stop for a second to collect my thoughts without you thinking that I'm stalking your wife?

Ric: This is a warning. You creep around my wife one more time, and I'm calling the police and I'm going to get a restraining order on you.

[Applause]

Alexis: That was great! Unbelievable.

Sonny: Jason doesn't act without my knowledge or consent. Whatever happens, I ordered it, including retaliation.

Lorenzo: Neither of us want a mob war, Sonny.

Sonny: I don't want any wars. But if something happens, I'll do what's necessary to end it.

Lorenzo: Right. Just agree to the truce. We both have children and loved ones we want to protect. We both know a peaceful coexistence is the only way to keep them out of the crossfire. Having a family can be a fatal mistake for men like us, or it can be our salvation.

Sonny: One thing you got to know -- I will protect my own, whatever it takes.

Patrick: I am out of options. I moved mountains to try and get my dad on the donor list. I broke every rule in the book, intercepting paperwork and phone calls on the registry. It was risky, but it's the only chance he's got. So go ahead and tell me I'm wrong.

Robin: Ok, you're wrong. But I would've done the same thing for my dad.

Patrick: So now all we can do is wait.

Robin: Well, even if a liver does become available, Noah may not be rational enough to consent to it. His condition can cause diminished mental capacity.

Patrick: Ok, well, maybe that's a good thing -- maybe that's when he'll agree.

Robin: Well, I wouldn't chance it. You should talk to him now.

Patrick: Because my other appeals were so successful? As you can tell, he's very grateful for my concern.

Robin: Do you want him to be grateful or do you want him to live? Find a way to get through to him.

Sonny: Just get -- get the shipment done, that's it. Keep me posted. Bye. Oh.

Carly: Hey!

Sonny: Hey.

Carly: How you doing?

Sonny: Fine. Kids are in the playroom if you want to see them.

Carly: Oh, that's ok, I just thought it'd be nice to visit with you a bit.

Sonny: Ok.

Carly: You know what's great about our relationship? Here we are, exes --

Sonny: Right.

Carly: We share custody of the boys, but we get along. We're really good friends, right?

Sonny: Where is this leading, Carly?

Carly: All I'm saying is, isn't it great that we can talk to each other and confide in each other and speak openly when something might be bothering us?

Sonny: Ok, if this is your idea of subtle, it's not really working. So, what do you want?

Carly: Nothing. I just think it's nice spending time with you, that's all.

Sonny: Where you heading with this? What's so funny?

Carly: It's just nice whenever fate or karma or whatever's in charge of the universe that arranges things for me to be right. Like when I told you that you shouldn't get involved with Alexis.

Sonny: Who told you?

[Carly laughs]

Sonny: Who told you?

Carly: Sam -- I mean, like, wow. I mean, how ironic is it that morally superior ice princess Alexis, and her long-lost daughter turns out to be Sam -- the buckle bunny that you also slept with? Now, I told you that you would be sorry, and you sure look sorry now.

Jason: What do you need?

Emily: I was looking for Sam.

Jason: She's not here.

Emily: I came to see if she needed any help studying. We were supposed to meet yesterday, but my schedule got too busy.

Jason: Hmm. That's been happening a lot, huh?

Emily: Yeah, I've had a lot of work for my classes, and I probably shouldn't have gone to Lukeís casino party last night, but I wanted to catch up with Lucky and Elizabeth. I actually had to leave the Haunted Star early to work on a lab report that was due the next day.

Jason: Yeah, I've got work to do, too.

[Carnival music plays]

Ric: Going to show you something -- ready?

Kristina: Go, daddy!

Ric: One, two, three -- go. Oh, yeah! Who's the best, right?

Alexis: You did it! Oh, I'm so proud of you. Hey.

Maxie: You know, I love carnivals. They're always the same -- junk food, games, silly fun.

Jesse: Yeah, I was thinking we should do this more often. You know, just going out, the two of us. Having a good time without my badge and all the work stuff getting in the way.

Maxie: You mean you don't think I'm a bad influence for you, keeping you away from all the important stuff?

Jesse: You're important, Maxie. So, why don't we plan something special?

Maxie: Ok, like what?

Jesse: Oh, I get some time off in June. Maybe we can go on vacation together. Unless you got other plans, then I'd understand.

Maxie: No, no, I would -- I would love that. Where should we go?

Jesse: Well, last summer when you had your heart trouble, you said you had a list of things you wanted to do in life. I want to help you cross one of those things off your list. So go ahead, pick anything you want.

Maxie: Are you serious?

Jesse: Absolutely. We can go to Vegas, Mexico --

Maxie: Chicago. Don't laugh, but I've always wanted to go to a punk rock concert in Chicago.

Jesse: Then Chicago it is.

Maxie: Oh, Jesse, you're wonderful.

Georgie: Hey. Sorry to interrupt, I -- have you guys seen Dillon?

Maxie: No. Are you supposed to meet him here?

Georgie: That was the plan. I just hope he didn't change his mind.

Diego: Hey. You didn't tell me you were going to be here tonight.

Sonny: Ok.

Carly: And I can tell that it's messing with your head, but come on. It was an accident.

Sonny: You know what? As long as everything stays quiet, no one finds out, it's fine.

Carly: Well, I hope Sam sees it like that.

Sonny: Sam agrees. She doesn't want Alexis to know that they're mother and daughter.

Carly: Yeah, well, that's what she thinks.

Sonny: Right.

Carly: And that's what I thought about Bobbie. But I'm telling you, she is going to become so obsessed with Alexis that she will destroy her life, and she may destroy her own.

Alexis: Why were you so late getting to the park?

Ric: I found Sam spying on you -- second time this week. Yeah, I think her grief is starting to push her a little bit over the edge.

Alexis: Did you say something to her?

Ric: Yeah, I warned her to back off or I'd call the police. And I advise you to keep your distance from her, as well, if you find her lurking anywhere near you or the children ever again.

Alexis: Do you really think she's going to hurt us?

Ric: Do you remember the fight that I got into the night of the Haunted Star party?

Alexis: Yeah.

Ric: I went over to talk to Sam; I tried to get her to back off of you. She got all upset, she became irrational, she tried to push me out of the apartment, so I grabbed her hands, and that's when Jason walked in and he completely misunderstood.

Alexis: Jason -- he's the one who hit you?

Ric: Yes. Yeah, but if Sam hadn't lost control, then it wouldn't have escalated to the point it did.

Alexis: You know something? I excuse her because she is grief-stricken. But Jason -- I've had it with him. He uses violence. He thinks he can beat people up and shoot them just because he feels justified.

Ric: Which is all the more reason that we shouldn't antagonize him at this point.

Alexis: I am not going to cower in fear of that boy anymore.

Ric: No, wait --

Alexis: You know, he's been arrested several times and he gets to walk away every single time. There's no consequence for him. Maybe I should be A.D.A. That way, I can prosecute him and maybe get him convicted.

Ric: Does your neck hurt from all these mood swings? I mean, one minute you want to open up shop for the two of us, and the next you want to be the A.D.A.

Alexis: I'm just saying that I would prefer Jason behind bars rather than hurting you, thank you.

[Carnival music plays]

Lucky: Hey, I think Mannyís supposed to be in the park.

Jesse: I'm so sorry, Maxie.

Maxie: No, it's ok. Go ahead.

Jesse: We still got Chicago, right?

Lucky: Why don't you go over there, ok?

Boy: Can you make me a dog?

[Man sighs]

Man: Yeah, sure, kid.

Georgie: I told Dillon about the hit-and-run and the docks. He's going to be here any second, so, you know, if you're uncomfortable seeing us together --

Diego: Oh, no. No, no, it's cool. I mean, I've got extra work to do, so I won't even notice you.

Georgie: Good.

Diego: Yeah.

Maxie: Well, Jesse got called in, so I can hang out with you now.

Diego: Have a good time, you two.

Maxie: See you.

Georgie: He was working here and I ran into him, Maxie, I swear.

Maxie: Well, that's funny, Georgie, because he just shows up wherever you are.

Elizabeth: Hey, baby. Penny for your thoughts?

Emily: I -- I went to see Sam about an hour ago and I -- I walked in on Jason assembling a rifle.

Elizabeth: Really?

Emily: I was afraid that he -- anyway, it -- it really scared me. Elizabeth, you don't seem surprised.

Elizabeth: What Jason does is his own business.

Emily: Elizabeth, a rifle. Do you know something that I don't?

Elizabeth: Lucky found out that Alcazar gave Manny a key to his ankle monitor. They're working together, so I told Jason.

Emily: Why would you get involved like that?

Elizabeth: Because Lucky is determined to bring Manny down and I'm afraid he's going to get killed, and there's only one person I know who can prevent it.

Jason: Carly show up?

Sonny: Yeah. She's getting a lot out of this.

Jason: That's Carly being Carly. She's just so happy to be involved with the secret. Hopefully, she'll keep her mouth shut.

Sonny: Well, I'm more worried about Sam because -- I think you got to rein her in. She's, you know, going to blow the whole thing.

Jason: Sonny, you know Sam doesn't want Alexis to know, but that's her decision. No, we have bigger problems -- one you've been avoiding, I, oh, looks like we have new neighbors.

[Carnival music plays]

[Maxie sighs]

Maxie: You know, of all the people here, you manage to run into the guy who almost got you killed -- twice. The guy who your husband happens to despise, Georgie? How does this keep happening?

Georgie: It's a carnival, Maxie. I've run into half the people I know.

Maxie: Ok, but didn't Dillon tell you to stay away from Diego?

Georgie: Yes --

Maxie: So how do you think he would feel if he was the one who found you?

Georgie: I don't think I need you policing my marriage.

Maxie: Ok, obviously, someone needs to.

Georgie: You know, I could throw out a few opinions about you and Jesse, but I don't, because I believe you're trying to do what's best for you. I deserve the same respect.

Maxie: Georgie, you and Dillon love each other. Why would you ever do anything to jeopardize that?

Georgie: You know, not that this is any of your business, but Dillon and I had a very serious conversation today, an honest one, and I told him everything that happened with Diego -- everything. And we've agreed that we're going to be honest with each other from now on.

Dillon: Guys? What are you fighting about?

Georgie: Maxie found me with Diego.

[Monitor beeps]

Noah: Back so soon?

Patrick: I put you on the donor list.

Noah: What?

Patrick: To be honest, you've been there all along. And with your worsening condition, you've moved to the front of the line.

Noah: Wait, what? What, did you forge my signature? Intercept my mail?

Patrick: Yeah. I ran interference with the registry.

Noah: What, assuming that I would change my mind? You -- you think I would be grateful and thank you for ignoring my right to make my own decision? To hell with you, Patrick!

Patrick: Dad? Hey --

[Noah groans]

Patrick: Relax.

[Monitor beeps rapidly]

Noah: Ah, it's -- it's all right. It doesn't make any difference -- no liver anyway.

Patrick: Not yet. But getting you on the donor list also makes you available for a living-donor transplant. Now, I've gone through the screening, and the process is underway to get --

Noah: Patrick, we've talked about that! That is not going to happen! I'm going to call the I.C.U. desk to make it official once and for all. What's -- oh, damn it -- oh --

Patrick: Dad?

Lorenzo: Hey.

Skye: Hey.

Lorenzo: How was the board meeting?

Skye: Oh, pretty boring without you. Where were you, by the way?

Lorenzo: I was busy at work.

Skye: Oh. Is something wrong?

Lorenzo: No. It'll work itself out. But it might be best if you let me send you out of town for a few days.

Skye: You're trying to protect me from something, aren't you? What is it?

[Carnival music plays]

Man: All right!

[Laughter]

Elizabeth: Lucky is determined to get Manny -- not only to protect me, but to get a raise. It's too risky. He doesn't have any backup.

Emily: Manny's psychotic. Of course you're worried.

Elizabeth: And he already went after Sam. So Jason had to go deal with him anyway.

Emily: It was your only option.

Elizabeth: Do you think I'm a hypocrite? I mean, I couldn't handle Jasonís lifestyle before, and now I'm begging for his help.

Emily: There are parts of my brother's work that I've chosen not to see. I love Jason -- he's loyal and kind and would do anything for me -- but the truth is there's a side of him that's very dangerous.

Elizabeth: I know this is selfish, but I'm counting on Jason to deal with Manny so Lucky won't have to.

Jason: Alcazar told me last night that he is working with Manny.

Sonny: Yeah. He came by earlier; he was waving the peace flag.

Jason: Oh.

Sonny: Why didn't you tell me you talked to him?

Jason: You were unreachable.

Sonny: You know, I'm getting sick of hearing I'm unreachable.

Jason: I'm getting tired of saying it, Sonny. Alcazar is hiding behind family. He's using Skye's pregnancy as an excuse. We can't just sit around and wait to see if he makes another move. We need to take Manny and Alcazar right --

Sonny: No!

Robin: The coma indicates further deterioration. Noah's getting worse, Patrick.

Patrick: It's a good thing he said he wanted the transplant. You heard him say it, right?

Robin: Thank God Noah agreed to stay on the list.

Ric: Good? See?

Alexis: She's out there.

Ric: Ignore her.

Alexis: No. I'm going to talk to her face to face.

Ric: Alexis, please don't confront her.

Alexis: Sam, I know you're following me, I'm not angry. It's just that your anger is feeding Jasonís anger, and he's taking it out on Ric --

Sam: Are you -- I hate you for my own reasons. There are so many, I really don't know where to start, so maybe I should just start --

Carly: Alexis, how nice -- you're here with your daughter.

Emily: I don't understand how someone who's usually so understanding and accepting can be so stubborn, Elizabeth. It's like Jason refuses to listen or make allowances for change.

Elizabeth: Wow. I hardly ever hear you say negative things about Jason.

Emily: Jason and I are close; we always will be.

Elizabeth: But something has changed --

[Emily sighs]

Elizabeth: And I can't imagine what that is. Unless --

Emily: Sonny and I aren't over; we've been hiding our relationship.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I kind of had a feeling. Your covers may work with your parents, but you can't hide from me and Lucky that you're in love.

Emily: So many people are against us being together, we decided it was best to wait a while before telling our friends and family.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but honey, if -- if Lucky and I know, it's not too long before Jason finds out, too.

Emily: Jason's convinced that being with Sonny will destroy me and he'll do anything to protect me. So when he does find out -- for the first time in my life, I'm afraid of my brother.

Jason: Alcazar and Manny are working together -- that's what you've been trying to prove. We know it for a fact. We need to eliminate the problem.

Sonny: I disagree. It's not your place to question it.

Jason: Sonny, come on. Alcazar may be saying that he wants a truce, but you know that he wants this territory. You know that. We know he's working with Manny. Manny is dangerous to us and everyone that we are close to. We need to take them both out.

Sonny: I don't want to start a war right now! I don't want any wars!

Jason: Who are you protecting? Who are you trying to save? It's not us. Because every day now that we do nothing, we're giving Manny another day to make a move and get away with it. Every day that Alcazar draws breath gives him that much more time to take what we've built!

Sonny: Weíre not ready! Taking action would be a mistake.

Jason: Why? Tell --

Sonny: Because I said so! I don't have to explain myself to you!

Lorenzo: There is something wrong, and it's old business from before I found out you were pregnant, Skye.

Skye: Do think that the baby and I could be in danger?

Lorenzo: Not while I handle the problem, but I need to ensure that you and the baby are safe.

Skye: Lorenzo, I appreciate your concern, but I don't think I'm the one you should be worried about.

Georgie: Diego -- hi. Sorry. Can you please help me clear something up? What were we talking about when they showed up?

Diego: Um -- I was working the carnival and she walked by, and we were about to go -- go our separate ways just like she wanted.

Georgie: See?

Diego: I agree. It's not a good idea for us to be friends anymore. You happy now?

[Phone rings]

Diego: Excuse me. Hello?

Lorenzo: I need to see you.

Diego: Dad, look, I'll try to stop by tomorrow.

Lorenzo: This won't wait. You're in danger right now.

Lucky: Hey! Shooter! Get down!

[Screaming]

Lorenzo: Diego? Diego?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Maxie: Oh, my God! Oh, my God, Jesse!

Patrick: My father is dying. Now, I will go through you or through anyone else who stands in the way of giving my father a chance to live.

Sonny: I heard what you had to say. Now, do what you do best -- take orders from me.
