Michael: Yeah, the monkey was really friendly. Yeah, he hugs you, he grins, and he slaps you on the back. Lulu's really lucky to have him. Hey, dad. Emily has something to tell us.

Sonny: Yeah?

Michael: Yeah.

Sonny: What's that?

Emily: I wanted you boys to know that you won't see me quite as much as you used to.

Michael: Why not?

Carly: Dr. Drake?

Noah: Oh, hi Carly. How are you?

Carly: Good. I gather I can't say the same about you. Your liver is failing, and you refuse to get a transplant. Why?

Patrick: This isn't my idea of helping.

Noah: Who told you it was ok to broadcast my health problems?

Patrick: I confided in Carly. I didn't know --

Noah: Have you ever heard of respecting a person's privacy, or is that some novel concept to you? My health and how I choose to deal with it is my business, not yours!

Patrick: I am your son.

Sam: All right, so Dannyís plane is going to be here really soon.

Jason: Maybe we should call Sonny first. Luke is pretty sick. Whatever he's got, I hope Michael didn't catch it.

Robin: Oh, excuse me. I was just going to --

Robert: Well -- hi, sweetheart. This is an awkward situation.

[Robert sighs]

Robert: I guess there's a bit of explaining to do. Because if I don't, you're never going to understand what I'm doing --

Robin: Oh, my God. It was all a lie, wasn't it?

Orderly: Whoa, whoa, whoa, get that thing out of here.

Luke: Hey, chill. He belongs to my daughter.

Doctor: Spencer?

Luke: Yes.

Doctor: I need stat C.B.C., C.M.P., blood cultures, and peripheral blood smears. What's with the monkey?

Luke: I brought him back from the Markham Islands. I gave him to my daughter, and 24 hours later she had this raging fever.

Doctor: Well, we're going to have to test you and the chimp. It appears your daughter is suffering from some type of febrile reaction.

Luke: You're going to be ok. They're going to figure it out. You'll be ok. It's all going to be fine. It's going to be fine, baby.

[Music plays]

Lorenzo: If it's too soon; if you're not ready --

Skye: No. It's right.

Lorenzo: This feels right?

Skye: It's right.

Singer: Under your spell just another day wrapped in your love just another day under your spell just another day wrapped in your love just another day impossible to speak change my luck trapped in your eyes cry to the warmth cast by the fire only for you under your spell just another day

Lulu: What's happening to me, dad?

Luke: We don't know yet, baby. The doctors are figuring it out.

Lulu: You're not going to leave me again, are you?

Luke: No. Oh, no, no. No, I'll be right here by your side until you're well. I promise. I promise.

Elizabeth: You're taking me on a romantic getaway? Where are we going?

Lucky: You'll have to wait and see.

Elizabeth: Well, give me a hint. Should I pack for warm weather or cold or --

Lucky: Well, hopefully, we won't be thinking about clothing.

[Elizabeth laughs]

Elizabeth: Ok, but Gram and Cameron -- they can reach me on the cell phone, right?

Lucky: Yes. That's the only hint you're getting. I just want you to be ready to leave after your shift is over.

Elizabeth: I'm so excited. Honey, you haven't even touched your food. Are you feeling ok?

Lucky: Yeah. I had a couple of bagels this morning at the station.

Elizabeth: Are you sure you're not coming down with something?

Lucky: I'm fine, Nurse Spencer. I'll be even better when I get alone time with my wife tonight.

Patrick: I am a doctor and your only family. Now, that ought to be more than enough reason to include me in how you deal with your liver disease. Instead, you're shutting me out of the entire process.

Noah: That's right.

Carly: Sorry.

Patrick: Look, I know your heart's in the right place, but you should've checked with me before talking to my dad.

Carly: I was just trying to help, ok? This is a really complicated situation.

Patrick: No, it's not that complicated at all. I offered him a living transplant, and he refused.

Carly: Of course he did.

Emily: Your mom's all better now, right? So you and Morgan don't need me to fill in anymore.

Michael: Our mom's been back since Christmas, and we still see you a lot. Did something happen?

Sonny: Michael? Emily's been good to us. She's gotten us through some pretty tough times.

Michael: We love her.

Emily: I love you guys, too.

Sonny: That's -- that's why, you know, she's always going to be part of our lives, you know, but she's got to get back to her life. She's -- she's going to be a doctor, she's taking classes, she's got to work at the hospital, and so I -- I think you got to, you know, stop trying to talk her out of this decision.

Michael: Thanks for taking care of us.

Emily: Oh, Michael, it was my pleasure. I loved every minute of it. Come here, give me a hug. Oh, God.

Robin: Was mom in on it?

Robert: Let me explain.

Robin: Was there ever a boat explosion, or did you two just go off on some mission, and then when she missed me, she decided to get in touch with me?

Robert: Your mother doesn't know I'm alive.

Robin: So you left her to grieve for you. You know, she lost her memory. She spent years trying to remember what happened.

Robert: I need to explain this to you. Otherwise, you're never going to understand --

Robin: You let me believe that you were dead! Or worse, you let me believe that you were brutally murdered! Why should I ever listen to anything you ever have to say again?

Robert: Because, still and all, I'm your father.

Skye: Tonight was more wonderful than I could've imagined.

Lorenzo: I feel the same way.

Skye: I feel like everything that happened just led us to this very moment -- in this house, in the snow, by the fire.

Lorenzo: Hmm. You sure you don't want to try to make the theater?

Skye: I'd rather just stay right here in your arms.

Patrick: Of course he refused a transplant from me. He'd rather die than owe me anything.

Carly: Oh, come on. You really don't get it, do you?

Patrick: Yeah, he's thinking about himself, as usual.

Carly: No, he's not, he's being a parent. Of course your father cannot let his own son risk his life or be in pain for any reason. If my boys needed my kidney, my heart, or my liver, I'd give it to them without even thinking about it. I would die for my boys, but I would never let them do the same thing for me.

Patrick: Yeah, well, that's you.

Carly: That's Noah.

Patrick: What are you saying? He's a noble man for refusing the transplant?

Carly: I'm saying it proves how much he loves you, Patrick.

[Pager beeps]

Patrick: I'm needed in the E.R.

Robin: The father that I loved died in 1991. Maybe it wasn't even real.  Maybe it was just a part you were playing. But that man, my father, would've come back for me.

Robert: I -- I tried to.

Robin: Another lie. If you wanted to, you would've found a way. You always did before.

Robert: Your mother had never been black-boxed before. She was a double agent slated for elimination, kill on sight!

Robin: Don't tell me that you faked your death to protect mom!

Robert: Look, if you don't -- now, we can keep on doing this, but unless you shut up and listen, you're never going to understand what happened. Now, I'll tell you a story, and then you can -- you can believe it or not.

Robin: Fine! Tell me a story. You can say whatever you want, but it is not going to change how much I hate you.

Elizabeth: It's a good thing I like surprises, or I'd be very annoyed with you right now.

Lucky: Ok, ok. One more hint.

Elizabeth: Ok.

Lucky: No matter how stressed you get at work --

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm?

Lucky: You'll be in paradise tonight.

Elizabeth: Paradise? Paradise, like, at the beach or in the city or in the mountains? Just tell me.

Lucky: Elizabeth doesn't know a thing.

Elizabeth: Oh, so you're planning our little romantic getaway?

Nikolas: Romantic getaway? Whatever. It's a good idea though, bro. I mean, she deserves it.

Elizabeth: You are a terrible liar.

Nikolas: And how would you know that if I've never lied to you, huh?

[Elizabeth chuckles]

Elizabeth: You guys have fun planning. I am so excited. See ya.

Lucky: I'll see you after work.

Nikolas: Keys to the cabin -- fully stocked with wine, nonperishable food. But just know that no one's been up there for months, so it's probably freezing.

Lucky: No problem. I'm going up there right now to get things ready.

Nikolas: All right, well just be careful driving because I hear the snow's coming down pretty hard up there.

Lucky: Good. With any luck, we'll get stuck for one or two days.

Nikolas: What's wrong? You all right?

Lucky: Yeah, I'm just fighting a cold. Cameron -- he had it last week, and it's no big deal, though. Probably just something going around.

Patrick: How's her temperature?

Doctor: It was steadily rising.

Patrick: Any idea how this started?

Doctor: The patient's father returned from the Markham Islands with a pet chimp.

Luke: I was close to a sick boy, and so was the chimp. And last night, I had a fever and passed out, but it was nothing like this.

Doctor: I paged you because it could --

Patrick: Yeah, it could be bacterial, viral, or rickettsial.

Doctor: Yeah, we're testing for that.

Patrick: Any numbness in the extremities?

Doctor: Yes.

Nurse: Doctor? Doctor, here are the test results.

Patrick: Negative on malaria. We have to run more tests.

Doctor: Ok.

Tracy: Ok, so I'm sorry that I accused you of faking this, and I'm even sorrier still that -- uh -- that your daughter's sick.

Luke: Thanks. I didn't think that the chimp was going to hurt her. I would've never brought it back if I thought there was even the slightest chance --

Patrick: Don't jump to any conclusions. Has the chimp been tested?

Doctor: No.

Georgie: Do you need any help with the chimp?

Dillon: Yeah, we could bring him to the lab.

Doctor: I'll take you up on that.

Georgie: Ok. Come on, little buddy, we're going to go for a walk.

Tracy: What if the monkey is contagious? Then Dillonís exposed.

Patrick: If the monkey's a carrier, he's already been exposed -- along with everybody else who's come into contact.

[Tracy sighs]

Danny: Look, Jason. You're shaking hands with the chimp. What did it feel like?

Jason: Like shaking hands with anyone else.

Danny: I'm having fun already.

Sam: Yeah, well, so are we.

Danny: You were really sick, but you don't look sick now. You look all well.

Jason: Yeah, you know, I am. I feel great. Your sister took great care of me, but she is a little tired from it so just, you know, be easy on her, ok?

Danny: I will, I promise.

Jason: Ok. I got to go to work. I'll be back soon, all right?

Sam: Hey, I love you.

Jason: I love you, too.

Emily: I'll see you soon, right? You go upstairs; go do that math homework that you were telling me about.

Michael: Ok. Well, bye for now.

Emily: Bye for now.

Michael: Come on, Morgan.

Morgan: Bye for now.

Michael: Hey --

Emily: I -- uh -- thought they deserved an explanation.

Sonny: Yeah, thanks for coming by. You know, Michael and Morgan really appreciate it.

Emily: You know, Sonny? Tell me one thing. Did I imagine what I thought you felt for me? Did -- did I exaggerate your kindness into something that wasn't there? Do you truly care about me?

Maxie: How's therapy?

Lucas: Not too bad.

Maxie: So you're enjoying it even though your mom basically forced you to go?

Lucas: Well, let's just say that what my mom wants me to get out of it and what I'm getting out of it are two completely opposite things.

Georgie: Hey.

Dillon: Well, it's official, folks. We have an authentic government conspiracy on our hands.

Georgie: Dillon.

Dillon: Well, it just turns out that the chimp Luke brought back to Port Charles could be the carrier of an unknown disease. Anybody seen "12 Monkeys"?

Maxie: Why do you think it's a conspiracy?

Dillon: Because an entire village disappeared, leaving only the chimp that Luke found.

Maxie: A chimp from the Markham Islands?

Dillon: Yes, exactly. A chimp from the -- what is an African primate doing in the South Pacific? Something doesn't add up here.

Georgie: Dillon, what matters here is that Lulu's really sick and she's in the E.R.

Maxie: Oh, my God. Do they know what she has?

Georgie: No, but they think the chimp might be the carrier. We really need to figure out what's going on before this gets really bad.

Patrick: Elizabeth, I need your help with this patient.

Elizabeth: Lulu?

Patrick: She's got a fever, probably contagious. Her pet chimpanzee may be the carrier. We're testing the animal right now.

Elizabeth: Wait, if the chimp's the carrier, then we were all exposed -- Lucky and Nikolas, too.

Luke: Well, if it's the same thing, the fever passes quickly -- at least it did with me and the kid in the Markham Islands.

Elizabeth: Are you sure you're past it?

Lulu: No, dad, don't leave me!

Luke: I'm here, I'm here.

Lulu: Don't leave me!

Luke: I'm not going anywhere, baby girl. I'm right here, I'm right here.

Robert: Why don't we deal with the first question? Yeah, there was an explosion, but it wasn't caused by Faison. It was the work of the bureau.

Robin: So I guess they weren't exactly grateful for all of your years of faithful service.

Robert: Faison was an enemy of the state, your mother was a security risk and --

Robin: He kidnapped her! he tortured her!

Robert: Nobody ever believed that. It was -- it was an embarrassment, potentially kind of messy, so they got out the book and followed through on policy.

Robin: Right, except no one died.

Robert: I did -- in every way that mattered. I was -- I was taken to a holding cell. They knew your mother had survived because they had pictures. Apparently, she had some kind of amnesia, brain damage -- no one knew for sure. But I was told, unless I cooperated, that they were going to kill her.

Robin: How did I know that this was going to end up all along that you were the hero?

[Robert sighs]

Robert: They had pictures of you, too.

Robin: Oh right, dad, they were going to kill me. I was in junior high. What were they going to do, send a sniper to take me out on my way home from dance class?

Robert: Nothing that dramatic. They would have just picked you up and brought you to a facility and used you as leverage. Because that's what you were, you were leverage. The daughter of a couple of suspected double agents -- ooh, there's a good bargaining chip.

Robin: So you saved me. Thanks.

Robert: I took the deal. I transferred to covert ops and went about cleaning up the world one dead body at a time.

Robin: Sounds ominous.

Robert: Killing people, my dear, is always ominous, but that's what I did for 11 years, where and when I was told.

Robin: Talk about a small world.

Robert: Excuse me?

Robin: Just someone I know is in your line of work. Isn't it ironic that my father and my -- I'm sorry, I digress. You were killing people for 11 years -- that must bring us to 2003.

Robert: Change of administration. There was a new director. He owed me a favor so I was let out of the deal. You were working in Paris at that point -- Seventh Arrondissement, Rue de Tremplin, Number 68.

Robin: You came to see me?

Robert: I knew the route you used to take to work. You used to stop at this funky little bakery twice a week, pick up a chocolate croissant.

Robin: That's supposed to win me over -- that you came to see me in Paris between jobs? I'm sorry, but the only thing that really proves is that you could've left any time and you chose not to, not because some agency was threatening my life, but because you were having too much fun with your work and you didn't want to quit!

Sonny: I cared about you deeply. I still care about you.

Emily: You just wouldn't call it -- wouldn't call it love.

Sonny: Uh -- I wouldn't put a label on it. I -- you know, I mean, it took me by surprise. I thought we were friends and then, you know, it just became more and then a lot more. I don't know.

Emily: Yeah, it helps to hear that.

Sonny: I'm sorry.

Emily: It's all right.

Sonny: I should've -- I should've stopped a lot sooner. I should've thought better, you know? It's just Carlyís the mother of my sons and -- you know, we got this connection, this kind of push/pull thing we've got going, and then -- I thought I could move on. I canít. Carly will always be in my heart.

Emily: Sonny, I -- I appreciate your honesty and, you know, for what it's worth, I hope it works this time and that you and Carly will be happy.  I just came by to say goodbye to Michael and Morgan. Bye.

Sonny: Bye. Thanks for bringing that monkey today. Michael can't stop talking about it.

Jason: It was Samís idea, you know? She called Michael to help me because I have no idea how to deal with it. You know, I'm going to call in a favor from our people at PCPD. I just want them to see, maybe ask around, who's working with Alcazar. He's got to be the one who gave the key to Manny for his ankle monitor.

Sonny: Ok.

Jason: Ok, if that's it, you know --

Sonny: So that's it? We're not going to talk about anything that happened in this room just now?

Jason: What do you want me to say? What do you want me to say? I'm sorry Emily got hurt? I -- I wish things were different? I do, I do because I hate this.

Sonny: It's no fun playing God with people's lives, is it?

Lulu: Please don't leave me here in Shadybrook!

Luke: No, no, no.

Lulu: Please don't let them lock me away!

Luke: No, you're not in Shadybrook, Lulu. You're in the hospital.

Lulu: Are you still --

Luke: I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to stay right --

Lulu: Please don't leave me!

Luke: I love you. I love you.

Tracy: Oh, Luke!

Robin: Did you run into Frisco on any of your spy sessions?

Robert: No.

Robin: Too bad. You guys could've compared notes. You know, Frisco bailed on Felicia and his daughters to work full-time for the W.S.B. Of course, he didn't pretend to be dead. You know, I'm not really sure what's worse because they can always hope for him to come home, but on the flip side, they know that they don't really matter. I -- I always thought that I mattered to you. I guess the joke's on me.

Robert: Well, the bureau kept you under surveillance for me. I have shots of you going to high school --

Robin: Oh.

Robert: Shots of you decorating a Christmas tree with my brother, a shot of you kissing some dark-haired boy in the park.

Robin: Stone.

Robert: The boy who gave you H.I.V.

Robin: The boy who loved me; the guy I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with. H.I.V. happened to both of us. And you weren't around for any of it, so I'd appreciate it if you don't start to judge me now!

Robert: I have a copy of your blood test report showing that you were H.I.V. I remember the day I got it, I stared at it for hours, hearing your voice in my head, hearing your laugh, hearing you tell me how much you wanted to be a dancer when you grew up.

Robin: H.I.V. is not a death sentence.

Robert: I am aware of that. I also know that your prognosis is hopeful and that I can't do anything for you.

[Robert sighs]

Robert: So I decided to leave you with your childhood intact, memories of a father that could do anything. That Robert Scorpio -- he was a better man than I am. That's the father you deserved.

Robin: Except he was a lie.

Robert: No! He was all best intentions. Spies don't walk away from their past for too long. I tried. I tried to be a father to you. I'm not sure to this day whether I would've been better off walking out the door the moment I discovered I had a daughter. That way, you could never have missed me.

Robin: Well, look at it this way -- all these convoluted explanations would be even harder to swallow if I hadn't grown up with you.

Robert: I don't know if it matters at this point, but here. I have some documentation. Have a look at it.

Robin: Ooh. "Medical Rescue Agency." I'm so impressed. It looks real.

Robert: It is real. It's also the reason I'm here. Port Charles is at risk for a major epidemic.

Robin: What you know about medicine is limited to potential causes of death. What would the Medical Rescue Agency need you for?

Robert: It's true, I'm not a doctor. But I'm not exactly stupid, either, and I've learned quite a lot, especially since discovering my only daughter has H.I.V. I joined the agency to help other kids, since I couldn't help my own.

Robin: So what do you do -- pass out vaccines?

Robert: I'm a containment specialist. Whenever there's an outbreak, I move in to do what's necessary to contain it. Then I track it back to its origin.

Robin: So you're a disease cop?

Robert: Crude but accurate.

Robin: Or else this is just some elaborate scheme and you're officially here on another W.S.B. mission.

Robert: I was in the South Pacific tracking a rather lethal dose of encephalitis. We quarantined the village and then torched it, but two potential carriers slipped through the net. One was a chimpanzee, and the other was Luke Spencer.

Robin: So Lukeís infected?

Robert: I don't know. I was over at the Quartermaines' and, yes, he seems to be sick, but he also seems to be recovering, and that isn't the pattern with other patients. So, maybe it's just a coincidence and he's got a flu bug. In any case, until I find out, I want you to go home.

Robin: You show up here after playing dead for 15 years and you're trying to tell me what to do?

Robert: Robin, this thing is lethal. It has a 40% mortality rate, and you with your weakened immune system -- well, I don't want you sticking around here and being exposed.

Robin: Well, sorry, you don't get a vote. I am a doctor and on staff at this hospital.

Patrick: Obviously, I've interrupted.

Robin: No, you know what? Your timing is perfect for once. Dr. Drake, this is my father, Robert Scorpio.

Patrick: Wait a second. I thought that your father was --

Robin: Yeah, he was dead -- yeah, that's what I thought. Crazy thing is, my father is a spy. He claims that he is here for the Medical Rescue Agency. I guess he's tracking a disease that Luke Spencer may have brought back from who knows where.

Patrick: Hey, wait a second. Spencer's down in E.R. He came in with a fever, and he's weak, but he's lucid. His daughter came in with a fever of 103.

Robert: Then we have trouble.

Patrick: I need everything you have on this.

Robert: I need to see these patients. Go home.

Robin: Go to hell.

Dillon: Uh, Luke, what are you doing in bed?

Luke: Oh, I was taking an emergency nap.

Tracy: No, he collapsed.

Georgie: Are you ok?

Luke: I'm a lot better than my daughter is. I want to go sit with Lulu.

Tracy: You stay there or I will pin you down.

Luke: Oh. There's a tantalizing thought. I'm sorry for bringing this to your door, spanky buns. When this is over, I promise our war will be contained in one hemisphere only.

Tracy: I will pay you back, but when you're feeling better.

Lucas: Wait, is Lulu going to be ok?

Elizabeth: I think we got her here in time, but I'm worried about Lucky. If this thing's contagious, he needs to know we were all exposed.

[Phone rings]

Lucky's voice: This is Lucky Spencer. Please leave a message.

Sonny: I'm usually the one that tells you what needs to be done, and you make it happen. And I'm sure it seems like I have the easy part, but the weight of every decision sits on my conscience. Now, you've made the choice that you don't want me with Emily. Now you're going to have to carry it.

Jason: And I've always believed that people have the right to make their own choices, that it isn't my place to tell them what to do, and I did the exact opposite.

Sonny: You were scared for your sister and for me. I get that, I really, really do get that. If I ever did something to Emily -- yell at her or worse -- she would forgive me. I know she would. Just like my mother for-- forgave my stepfather. So you -- you did what you thought you had to do to save her from that.

Jason: No, you saved her.

Sonny: Knowing that should make it easier to lose Emily. But it doesnít.

[Music plays]

Singer: That you think you know that you've reached the point

Carly: Emily.

Singer: When you're going to sacrifice who you really are

Carly: Look, I know that I'm the last person that you probably want to run into right now. I just want to say I'm sorry. I know how much it hurts to lose Sonny. Anyway, um, thank you for looking after Sonny and the boys while I was in Roselawn.

Emily: I -- I love them all. I -- I just wanted to help.

Carly: Sonny really cared for you -- he wasn't leading you on. You know, it just -- it couldn't last, and I'm sorry that you walked in and saw --

Emily: Carly, I know you're trying to help, but can you just do me a favor and please leave me alone?

Carly: Sure.

Singer: But it's so compromising is it easy

Nikolas: Hi.

Singer: Oh, how I wish that all my wishing would stop how do you know what's right?

Sonny: I'm making linguine for dinner. Marinara sauce or meat sauce?

Michael: Meat sauce, please.

Morgan: Meat sauce, please.

Sonny: "Please"? That's going to get you ice cream after dinner.

[Michael laughs]

Michael: Dad, are you going to miss Emily?

Sonny: Uh, yeah -- well, yeah. I mean, you know, we're all going to miss Emily, but you know what?

Michael: What?

Sonny: We should be happy because she's going to concentrate on being a doctor.

Michael: Yes. She will be a good one because she cares about people.

Sonny: Yes!

Carly: Hey, men in my life.

Sonny: Hey.

Michael: Hello.

Carly: Hi.

Michael: Emily said that we would be spending more time with you and dad. Does that mean you're getting back together?

Carly: Oh. No, sweetie. We're not getting back together. Your dad and I are divorced, but that doesn't mean we still can't be a family.

Sonny: And to prove it, we're going to have a family dinner. Can you stay?

Michael: Please? It's linguine in meat sauce.

Carly: Your dad's meat sauce?

Michael: Yes.

Carly: Well, count me in.

[Carly laughs]

Carly: So what did you guys do today? What was fun? What was exciting? What happened?

Michael: Well, I met a real-life chimp.

Sonny: You mean monkey?

Michael: Nope. That was a chimp, dad.

Sonny: Oh.

Michael: Monkeys are smaller, like Curious Jack?

Morgan: George.

Nikolas: I'm sorry, I think I left my cell phone here. Is it anywhere?

Emily: Um -- is this it?

Nikolas: Yeah. Thanks. Mind if I sit down for a second? I -- I'm just a little tired. I'm not feeling too well.

Emily: Sure.

Nikolas: Yeah, thanks.

[Nikolas coughs]

Nikolas: Listen, I'm really sorry.

Emily: For what?

Nikolas: It's just I -- you know, I set this whole thing in motion. You know, I turned to Courtney, I -- I wanted it to last with her, I -- you know, I loved her, and maybe I still do, I don't know. I just -- I don't understand -- understand what happened. I'm sorry. I shouldn't be going on like that, especially to you. It was completely inappropriate. I'm going to go ahead and go. Oh.

Emily: Hold on. Nikolas, are you ok?

[Nikolas coughs]

Emily: Come on. My God. Nikolas, you're burning up.

[Door closes]

Danny: She was tired, so she laid down, and now she's too sick to get up again!

Jason: Sam? She's got a fever. Hey.

Sam: Hmm?

Jason: Hey, hey, hey. Sam?

Sam: I don't know what happened. It came on so fast.

Luke: How's Lulu?

Elizabeth: Her fever is still spiking.

Luke: Well, I want to sit with her.

Elizabeth: You just need to rest. Georgie and Dillon are sitting with her right now. She's sleeping for the moment, ok, so you just rest.

Luke: How long does it take to run some tests? Why can't they figure --?

Robert: Luke Spencer, come on down. How do you feel?

Luke: I'm dead. I'm dead and gone to hell.

Robert: No. But they're looking for you.

Luke: You -- you mean we're both alive?

Robert: For the moment.

Luke: Well, you steely bastard!

[Robert and Luke laugh]

Luke: God! Are you still working for the W.S.B., making people's lives miserable?

Robert: I'm trying to be a better person. I joined another organization called the M.R.A. -- Medical Rescue agency. Had me in the South Pacific tracking a rather nasty strain of encephalitis. Imagine how giddy with delight I was when I discovered that one of the tourists heading back to the U.S. was my old drinking buddy Luke Spencer.

[Door opens]

Lorenzo: I need help here. She's unconscious. She's got a fever. Came out of nowhere.

Patrick: Great. Hey.

Robert: Has she been around that chimp?

Luke: Her name's Skye. She was at the Quartermaines' when I brought the chimp back. So was my daughter.

Robert: I need a list of everyone that's been around that monkey.

Luke: How bad is this?

Robert: If we don't get a handle on it, a lot of people are going to die. This is a Level 10 Outbreak. The health organization I've been working with to contain this has determined it's a highly contagious mutant strain of encephalitis which is often fatal. Its origin is unknown. One of the few things we do know is that it's contracted through close proximity and it spreads like wildfire. I've seen instances where it wiped out whole families.

Luke: How the hell do we stop this thing?

Robert: I'm not sure we can.

>> Next week on "General Hospital" --

Jax: I'm still looking for Courtney. Call me as soon as you can, ok?

Ric: Are you all right?

Tony: No -- no, I'm ok.

Nikolas: I love you. Emily, I love you.

Luke: You've got to hang on.

Patrick: You're saying we should decide who's good enough to live?

Luke: My daughter gets the serum or somebody dies.
