Reporter: Ms. Davis, ms. Davis --

ric: Please just give us some room.

Reporter: Ms. Davis, how did you do it? How did you get the jury to acquit manny ruiz?

Alexis: The jury simply followed the law, which is very clear. He was not accountable for anything that happened prior to surgery.

John: You just made a mockery of the entire judicial system.

Alexis: The jury followed the law.

John: The law according to alexis davis. You just set a killer free to strike again.

Sam: Jason! "R ujjiu(swhat -- it's ok.

Sam: Oh, god.

Jason: Hey, hey, it's ok, you're safe. It's ok.

Elizabeth: Ok?

Elizabeth: Ok?

Manny: Thank you. You know, elizabeth, you helped me feel much better. I hope that you're not afraid anymore, that we can be friends.

Elizabeth: My job is to take care of you, as I would any other patient.

Manny: Sorry, I didn't mean to overstep. You know, but in my life before, no one ever treated me the way you do, with compassion and kindness, so --

[Knock on door]

Lorenzo: Mr. Ruiz is awake.

Elizabeth: Yes, he is, and your doctor will be with you soon.

Manny: Thank you, elizabeth.

Lorenzo: Quit the kinder, gentler routine and tell me if you're ready to accept my offer.

Carly: Sonny, you were supposed to pick up the boys a half an hour ago. No, I did not say that I was going to drop them off. Look, I can't, ok? I'm covering for jax. I'm really busy here. Can't you have max come and pick them u ok, but you know what, your job isn't the only one that matters. It is your responsibility to pick up your children.

Nikolas: Tell me where courtney is.

Emily: Hey. Morning.

Nurse: You have a message.

Emily: What, a message, already? I just got here.

Nurse: Call sonny corinthos. It's important.

Emily: It's no problem, sonny, I'll go pick up the boys right now. Right. Yeah.

Elizabeth: So how was your evaluation with dr. Harris?

Emily: You know, I'm going to have to reschedule.

Elizabeth: Oh, so you can pick up sonny's children?

Emily: Look, sonny has an emergency. Leticia's sick and carly's working.

Elizabeth: Well, aren't you?

Emily: Look, changing the time for the evaluation is not a big deal.

Elizabeth: Are you going to drop whatever you're doing every time sonny calls?

Emily: Look, elizabeth, I'm not setting aside my career for sonny, all right, but the boys and I are planning on meeting him later.

Elizabeth: Oh, so you're not going to come back to work?

Emily: I have years worth of comp time available.

Elizabeth: Honey, you're on the schedule.

Emily: I'm going to spend as much time as I possibly can with sonny, and I'm not going to care what you or anyone else think about it.

Carly: I am really busy and there's no way I'm going to tell you where courtney is. Michael, please finish your orange juice, sweetie.

Morgan: Look.

Nikolas: Have you heard from her?

Carly: Courtney left because she wants a calm and peaceful place to have her baby, away from the complicated mess that you dragged her into.

Nikolas: You know that jax disappeared the same day courtney left town, don't you?

Carly: Jax went to find his wife. That isn't what you're doing.

Nikolas: You told him where she is, didn't you, because you want them back together.

Carly: Courtney's my friend. I want what's best for her. She'll never be happy with you if you're in love with emily.

Nikolas: Which is pretty much what you're counting on, right, that I'm still in love with emily, because you don't want her with sonny.

Carly: You're right, I don'T.

Tracy: Your freeloading days are over, missy. You're getting a job.

Lulu: What?

Tracy: If you're going to stay in this house, youre going to learn a few lessons on responsibility, punctuality, setting goals. What?

Alice: Hey, look what I found in the hydrangeas. Call the cops.

Tracy: No, don't! Uh, sweetheart, you should've been more discreet.

Alice: You know this dweeb?

Tracy: He's my gentleman caller.

Skye: Oh, you can't possibly have a boyfriend.

Lulu: You're cheating on my dad already?

Dillon: Uh, why wouldn't you just ring the doorbell?

Skye: You know, alice, get the truth out of him please?

Tracy: Oh -- not one word!

Lulu: Ok, wait, how can he say anything if you're choking him to death?

Alice: Good point.

Man: Ahem. I'm a private investigator.

Tracy: That's a lie!

P.I.: You hired me -- to find her husband and bring him home?

Ric: Manny ruiz has a constitutional right to be present in the courtroom to face his accusers, your honor.

Judge: Is he physically able to be here?

Ric: Yes, your honor, in a wheelchair.

John: Your honor, that's blatantly prejudicial. I move for a postponement.

Ric: I am sorry if it's too inconvenient for mr. Durant that my client survived the latest attempt on his life, but the fact of the matter --

judge: Take it easy, mr. Lansing.

Alexis: Your honor, I have done everything possible to convince mr. Ruiz to postpone for a while till he feels a little bit better, but he insists on moving on.

John: Oh, your honor, please, come on, he wants a sympathy vote, that's all. Don't you see? He's trying to manipulate you, he's manipulating the jury. Mr. Ruiz is manipulating the entire system!

Ric: All emotions aside, my client's condition is a fact in this case. He was shot by an enemy of his family. He was caught in the crossfire.

John: Manny ruiz is not the victim here, mr. Lansing!

Alexis: That could be argued, counselor. He suffers from an undiagnosed brain disorder.

Judge: Save it for the trial, ms. Davis. I see no reason to postpone since he's able to be in court.

John: Your honor --

alexis: Thank you, your honor.

John: Your honor, this is absurd.

Judge: Now is not the time to annoy me, mr. Durant. Concentrate on your closing argument. I think you've got your work cut out for you. See you in court.

John: You realize what you're doing, don't you?

Alexis: My job.

Alexis: He knows that we're on the way to an acquittal.

Ric: Yeah, is that what you really want?

Alexis: Why wouldn't I want to win this case?

Ric: Well, you would

you completely believed that manny wasn't faking it.

Lorenzo: The memory chip from sam mccall's cell phone. As I mentioned before, my tech people were able to restore it. I can prove that you attacked sam mccall at the courthouse during the trial, just as she reported. Which proves that you're faking this miraculous change. Now, imagine if this information fell into the hands of the district attorney.

Manny: So you want me to take t sonny and jason, with assistance from you if necessary?

Lorenzo: I'm going to take over sonny's territory. I'm simply giving you the opportunity to assist. Manny: Hey, how could I refuse that?

Sam: The nightmare was about manny.

Jason: Ok, will it help you to tell me about it?

Sam: Maybe. I don't know. Jason, I don't know. I -- everything is all jumbled up in my head. We were in court and alexis got manny acquitted and everyone was arguing -- ric, alexis, durant -- and manny was in a wheelchair.

Jason: Was I there?

Sam: Yeah. Yes, of course you were there. Carly, she had pulled you out and then manny got up from his wheelchair and he came up to me and he put his hands on me. And I tried to scream and nothing came out. And I just -- I lost it.

Jason: It's ok. It was just a dream.

Sam: I know.

Jason: You were upset when you went to sleep. You'd just been charged with shooting manny. It makes sense.

Sam: I know. I know, I've just -- I've got to let it go.

Jason: Manny's in the hospital, badly hurt, and durant's going to delay the trial as long as he can. Let's just try not to think about it for the rest of the day.

Sam: Oh, god, that sounds like heaven.

Jason: Ok?

[Knock on door]

Justus: Hey, guys.

Jason: What's up?

Justus: I just found out the court's reconvened today.

Jason: Durant didn't push for postponement?

Justus: No, manny's going to trial in a wheelchair.

Jason: Ok, I still think going to court is a bad idea.

Sam: Maybe, but I still have to go.

Jason: Why is it going to help you to see the rest of manny's trial? Why do you want to do this to yourself, sam?

Sam: Why, jason? Because it is my nightmare, and I can stay here and feel safe with you or I can go confront my nightmare, and that's what I'm choosing to do, so that's what I'm going to do.

Jason: All right. I don't agree, but I understand.

Sam: Ok. Thank you. Could you come with me? Please?

Jason: Do you really believe I would let you walk into that courtroom alone?

Sam: Maybe if the jury gets a good look at us, they will remember all of the terrible things that manny has done and won't be so willing to let him go.

Georgie: Bobbie thinks she's being supportive, but she practically dragged lucas into counseling.

Elizabeth: Good, maybe it'll help him with coming out.

Georgie: That's the thing -- bobbie doesn't even think he's gay. She thinks he's experimenting. No wonder he didn't want to come out to her.

Elizabeth: I'm sure bobbie has no idea how much she's hurting him.

Georgie: Right. Which is why I was hoping you could talk to her, you know, mom to mom, help her accept lucas for the way he is.

Bobbie: I am so glad that you agreed to talk to dr. Winters because I think that counseling will help you to change your entire perspective.

Carly: Yeah, I'm not jealous of emily and I don't want sonny back, but if they get together, a lot of people are going to get hurt, including your precious emily.

Nikolas: Yeah, I tried to tell her the same thing.

Carly: And she wouldn't listen, so now you're after courtney, is that it?

Nikolas: No, carly, no, that's not it at all.

Carly: I am not going to betray courtney's trust and tell you where she is. Michael, if you throw another muffin, you will not see your video games in this lifetime.

Nikolas: Courtney did not want to break up with me, ok?

Carly: That wasn't the impression I got.

Nikolas: No, she -- really? -- She was just trying to give me what she thinks I want.

Carly: Which is emily because you're still in love with her.

Nikolas: No, it's not.

Carly: And courtney knows that you are.

Nikolas: Sten to me, I am very concerned about emily as a friend, ok? I love courtney and I want and I need to convince her of that, but to do so I need to see her, so please, just tell me where she is.

Emily: Hey, boys. What's up?

Michael: Hi.

Emily: Hey.

Carly: If she wants to tell you where she is, she's going to do it herself. That's her phone number.

Nikolas: Thank you.

Morgan: You know what's funny, michael? I can -- I can get up --

emily: Hey, nikolas.

Nikolas: It's good to see you. Thank you.

Morgan: The escalator and take it home by accident.

Carly: Why don't you follow nikolas out, throw your arms around his neck, and tell him you'll love him forever and make everyone's life a hell of a lot easier?

Emily: That isn't going to happen, carly.

Carly: Then what do you want, emily?

Emily: Sonny asked me to come here and pick up michael and morgan.

Ric: Here we go, hot off the net -- latest statistics on permanent personality changes in A.V.M. Cases similar to manny'S. They're convincing on the surface. I'm just not sure how they'll apply.

Alexis: Thanks, I'll use this in closi.. it'll help. I'm going to glance at it now.

Ric: Ok.

Alexis: Sam, you don't need to be here.

Sam: Yes, I do.

Alexis: I see that this is emotionally gruelling for you, and it's not going to get any better today. It's going to be very difficult for you to sit and watch this, so you should probably not --

sam: What, stay home and keep quiet? Yeah, that would be much easier for you, wouldn't it? It would be much easier for you to dismiss manny's crimes if his victims were just numbers on a page and they didn't have a name or a face. Well, they do, and we are here.

Alexis: You're making this a lot more difficult than it needs to be.

Sam: We're going to take front-row seats, thank you.

(Announcer)

it's frustrating.

Lulu: You'll never find my father until he wants to be found.

Tracy: He'll showp sooner or later.

Skye: It'd be a lot sooner if you dropped the attempted-murder charge.

Tracy: Oh, no way! I'm going to make him pay for his little scam, trying to scare me out of my marriage.

Dillon: Uh, we were all involved in that.

Lulu: Hey, don't remind her.

Dillon: Ow. Why do you want luke to go to jail, anyway?

Skye: She doesn'T. She just wants some leverage, a threat to hold over his head.

Lulu: That is so twisted.

Tracy: Nothing would make me happier than to see luke spencer behind bars, where he is no longer a burden tme or my family.

Alice: Hey, luke sent a package. Cool. It's for you.

Tracy: Really?

Lulu: Really?

Tracy: Well, there must be something for me, a letter, something? Give it to me.

Alice: I already checked.

Skye: Well, enjoy mail call, everyone. I'm late for a meeting.

Tracy: Let me see the return address on that package. Where is your father?

Lulu: He obviously doesn't want you to know.

Elizabeth: Hey, bobbie.

Bobbie: Hey.

Elizabeth: How you doing?

Bobbie: I'm, uh -- I'm doing better now that lucas is getting counseling.

Elizabeth: Yeah, that's great. It'll really be helpful.

Bobbie: Yeah, well, you know, he's been really miserable since that night at the police station, and he's not talking to me these days, so I think he needs someone objective to help him get through this.

Elizabeth: Being gay isn't something you just get over.

Bobbie: Well, if lucas even is gay. I mean, you know, kids are exposed to so much these days. Anybody could get confused.

Elizabeth: He needs you to accept him.

Bobbie: Elizabeth, what if lucas were cameron? He just turned 18. He's about to go out and face the world on his own and he tells you he's gay. Would you be able to accept him, just like that?

Lucas: So, you good at curing people of being gay?

Lainey: Do you want to be cured?

Lucas: That's what my mom wants. That's -- that's why she set all this up, right?

Lainey: So why did you agree to come?

Lucas: Because she's my mom. And the look on her face at the police station. She deserves better than to see me all beaten up and yelling at her.

Lainey: You must love her very much.

Lucas: I ju want to be the son that she wants.

Lainey: Well, let's talk about what you want, lucas. Do you want to be gay?

Lucas: Doesn't matter. You know, being gay is like -- it's like having blond hair or -- or being tone deaf. It's just who I am.

Lainey: How long have you been aware of it?

Lucas: Took a while for me to realize I wasn't like everyone else. You know, I was sick a lot when I was younger and that kind of, you know, tangled up things.

Lainey: Hmm.

Lucas: And then I started playing soccer. And one summer I was at soccer camp and we had this college guy that was the coach and all the girls had a crush on him. So did I. I'm spencer on one side and then jones on the other, so, you know, being gay is not really an option. I've tried not to feel the way that I feel for years. And, uh, I just want to be the person that my family wants me to be, and I hate myself because I'm not and I hate myself because I'm not who I want to be, either.

Lainey: That sounds pretty exhausting.

Lucas: It is. And, uh, I'm sick of it. I'm tired of -- tired of hating myself, tired of pretending.

Lainey: You know who you are, lucas. That already puts you ahead of the pack.

Lucas: Really?

Lainey: Yes. So let's try to find some positive ways to deal with it.

Carly: I'm not going to let you use my kids as an excuse to see sonny.

Emily: I don't need an excuse, carly. Sonny's busy, I was glad to help out.

Carly: Sonny should have more sense than to continue this thing with you, because it's going to end bad and he knows it.

Emily: Even if you're right, that's for me and sonny to decide.

Carly: You know what, emily? I know what happened to you, and I'm sorry, I really am, but this thing with you and sonny, it affects my children.

Emily: No, wait, this isn't about protecting your children, carly.

Carly: Yes, it is.

Emily: No.

Carly: Yes, it is, because michael and morgan adore you. As much as I hate it, that's a fact, and they adore jason, and when this big romance between you and sonny goes wrong -- and it will -- someone that they care about is going to disappear from their lives. So do you really want to do that to the two little boys that you claim to love?

Emily: Carly, stop trying to make me feel guilty, because it's not going to happen!

Carly: Really? How many people have told you that sonny is wrong for you, hmm? How many? Me, your parents, your friends. Hell, when was the last time elizabeth and I agreed on anything? They may be so worried about you, but I'm worried about sonny, ok?

Emily: You want him for yourself, don't you?

Carly: I want him with anyone except for you. He can go back to alexis. Hell, he can hook up with robin if he feels like it. But you are the one person who has the potential to destroy him. Yes, you are. So if you won't do it for your own sake, do it for his.

John: Manny ruiz is a cold-blooded killer who shot his own father in the back. He has admitted responsibility for the glencoe tunnel tragedy, for shooting robin scorpio, for shooting jason morgan, and for terrorizing sam mccall, as well as countless, countless other women.

Alexis: My client admits that he was a violent man. He's not denying his criminal past or the reprehensible things that he's done.

John: Why shouldn't mr. Ruiz confess? Whshouldn't he swear that he's a brand-new man, hmm? He knows it's the only chance he has to go free. If you believe him.

Alexis: You heard undisputed medical testimony that the malformation in mr. Ruiz's brain caused his violent behavior. Once the doctors performed the surgery to correct the problem --

john: According to ms. Davis, nothing of the old manny remains, nothing, nothing at all -- not the killer, not the sadist, not the criminally insane man who lives to inflict pain. According to ms. Davis, that manny has disappeared, he's vanished, he's gone for good. And how are we supposed to know this? How did the doctors know this? Because manny ruiz told them so. That's it. That's all. That's all that we have to go on -- the word of an admitted liar who kills people for pleasure. We don't have the objective tests to tell how well this surgery went, we have no numbers to compare, we have no blood test to analyze! Manny ruiz is acting like a different man. That's all we have. Yet you're supposed to take his word over the word of a woman that he stalked and he terrorized, a woman that he planned to rape while her fiance sat tied in a chair with a bullet in him, a woman that he attacked in this very courthouse, not 200 feet from this spot, while this very trial was underway!

Alexis: It's true that sam was victimized, but not by the man sitting in this courtroom today.

Alexis: She was victimized by my client before the surgery, when he was driven by an undiagnosed defect in his brain. Ms. Mccall claims that she was attacked by my client in the holding room, but as you can see, there's no evidence. There was no evidence to support that the prosecution failed dramatically at their burden of proof. You have seen witnesses repeatedly try to goad my client into attack. And he has demonstrated absolutely no malice toward anyone. You've seen it. I think it's fair to say that everyone in this courtroom is sympathetic. I think it's fair to say that our hearts go out to ms. Mccall for the pain that she suffered, and she did in fact suffer. And I think it's only natural that ms. Mccall would want revenge, she would want someone to pay. She wants my client to pay. She wants manny to pay. She wants him to die. But you can't do that because the court is not an instrument of revenge. It is about the rule of law. You have to follow the law. Whether you like it or not, you have to follow the law. Manny ruiz committed those crimes and he was not of sound mind. And according to the law, he is not responsible for his actions. You have to follow the law. You have to find my client not guilty.

Tracy: You tell me where your father is!

Lulu: Oh, let me check. Is your name on this package? Nope.

Tracy: You tell me or I kick you out on the street.

Dillon: No, uh-uh.

Lulu: Oh, sounds fun. I'll bring it with me. Come on.

Tracy: Uh-uh! Dillon, you get that package or I stop paying for college tuition.

Lulu: Dillon's smart. He'll get a scholarship.

Tracy: Dillon, I'm going to post your baby pictures on the P.C.U. Bsite.

Dillon: You have baby pictures of me?

Lulu: Dillon, think! No, she's lying.

Tracy: You know what, I'm going to send you both to military school.

Lulu: Sounds fun.

Tracy: In iceland!

Dillon: No, no, no, uh-uh!

Lulu: Hup, two, hup, two!

Tracy: All right, all right, all right! I'll drop the attempted-murder charges if you just tell me where your father is.

Dillon: It's a trick, that's a trick. She's lying.

Lulu: Ok, you drop the charges first and then I'll tell you where he is.

Lorenzo: Would you care to join me?

Skye: Oh. Well, that's the best invitation I've gotten all day.

Lorenzo: Great. Please, sit down.

Skye: Thanks.

Lorenzo: So? Whoa. What has luke done now?

Skye: I'm not supposed to care, remember? I mean, who cares if he sends his daughter a package and nothing for me? He never sends me anything, he never does.

Lorenzo: Right. So lulu got a package, you ran out of the quartermaine house straight to kelly'S.

Skye: Guess this starting-over thing isn't really so easy, is it?

Lorenzo: What if we just keep running, skye, together?

Skye: I'm listening.

Lorenzo: I say we fly down to manhattan tonight, take in a ballet, maybe a late supper. No place is more romantic than new york city after midnight. Interested?

Skye: You've got yourself a date.

Carly: There is so much that you don't know about the man that you claim to love. But you have to realize how much sonny depends on jason.

Emily: Yeah, it's true, carly, jason is kind of having a hard time with all this, but if sonny and I do have a relationship, I believe that jason will ultimately accept it. I mean, he -- he wants me to be happy.

Carly: That's why he doesn't want you with sonny.

Emily: Carly, we're never going to agree on this.

Carly: Ok, so what happens to jason when sonny breaks your heart, and he will?

Emily: I'm a lot tougher than I look.

Carly: Oh. Ok, so you're going to be the one woman that sonny doesn't get angry with and you're going to be the one woman that sonny's able to protect. Right? You're never going to have a day where you wake up wi fear and worry and pain. Your special brand of love and acceptance is just going to make sonny a better man. Is that it?

Emily: I don't want him to be a better man.

Carly: He wants to be a better man. He wants to do what's right, and he's probably already asked you to go away. So why don't you?

Emily: Carly, you know, I really don't want to make a big scene out of this. I'm just -- I'm going to go get the boys.

Carly: Where are you?

Jason: What's wrong?

Carly: We have to talk, now.

Ric: You want to get some coffee?

Alexis: You know what, I don't think the jury's going to be out very long.

Justus: You're awfully confident.

Alexis: The law is clear on this. The jury's going to have to follow it.

Sam: You are good, because you made me look like a criminal and manny look like a victim.

Alexis: Sam, I advised you to not be here.

Sam: No, come on, I have every right to be here, and it was a cheap shot to drag me into your closing arguments.

Alexis: I was doing my job, and the jury's going to have to do theirs, and there's a very good chance he's going to be acquitted. I'm sorry.

Sam: Really? Well, if manny gets acquitted and he walks away, he will still be insane, he will probably go after you and all of us, for that matter.

Ric: Ok, there's no point in having this conversation. Why don't you do yourself a favor -- just go home and make sure jason doesn't go after manny.

Sam: Ja-- you talk to jason himself. I don't speak for him, ok?

Ric: Durant is going to want to bust jason if anything happens to manny.

Sam: Oh, come on.

Ric: It's going to be a way for him to save face after a humiliating loss.

Sam: You don't care about jason and I do not need your advice.

Alexis: Ric is just trying to help.

Sam: No, ric is trying to minimize his guilt for helping you turn manny loose.

Bailiff: The jury has reached a verdict.

Lashes too intense for the shy!

Skye: Mac. What are you doing here?

Tracy: I called him. Which was a total waste of my hard-earned tax dollars.

Mac: How many times do I have to tell you? I can't drop the charge of attempted murder. There was rat poison on the cocktail shaker.

Tracy: Fine. Ahem. I put the rat poison in the cocktail shaker. I did it to turn the tables on luke.

Mac: Are you confessing to faking an attempted murder?

Tracy: You going to arrest me, commissioner?

Skye: Please say yes.

Mac: You know, I don't have time to deal with rich people playing games!

Tracy: Why do they call you a public servant, then?

Mac: I will drothe charges on luke. But if you so much as ever pull a stunt like this again, I will arrest of myself.

Tracy: Fine.

Skye: So what did I miss?

Dillon: Um, lulu's going to tell my mom where luke is.

Tracy: But lulu's not going to tell skye where luke is.

Skye: I'm not interested, believe me.

[Dillon istles]

Tracy: Ok, lulu. Where's your father?

Lulu: The markham islands.

Tracy: The markham islands?

Lulu: The markham islands.

Tracy: Let me see that.

Lulu: No! Whoa!

Dillon: Hey, no, that wasn't part of the deal. You can't --

lulu: What are you -- no, why are you opening it?

Dillon: Hey, I don't -- mom?

Lulu: Oh, my --

dillon: Mom?

Tracy: Oh!

Elizabeth: My greatest wish is for cameron to just be happy.

Bobbie: And that's exactly what I want for lucas.

Elizabeth: And ifameron were to find love with a woman or a man, I would have to be ok with it.

Bobbie: What about the night you get called to the police station because your son has been badly beaten? Or the times when you know he's in terrible emotional pain and he's not able to share anything with you? What about all these gay-bashers that you know you'll never be able to protect him from and the pain and the prejudice that he's going to have to deal with for the rest of his life?

Elizabeth: Bobbie, isn't wanting to change him a kind of prejudice?

Bobbie: I am not homophobic. I have friends who are gay. And I honestly believe some people are born homosexual. But some people experiment, they go through a phase, and then they settle down.

Elizabeth: And you're hoping that by him going to therapy it'll help him settle down?

Bobbie: Yes, I am hoping that he will just get through this whole phase.

Elizabeth: Maybe that's not what lucas wants for himself.

Lucas: Hey, mom.

Bobbie: Hey. How did it go?

Lucas: Uh, counseling wasn't what I expected at all. Lainey actually really helped me.

Bobbie: That's great. That's great. Because I was really hoping she would. Come on, let's go have coffee.

Alexis: The fact that the jury is in this quickly, it's a good sign.

Judge: Court is now in session. In the matter of the state vs. Manuel ruiz, has the jury reached a verdict?

Forewoman: We have, your honor.

Judge: How do you find?

Forewoman: We find the defendant guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

[Gallery murmurs]

Manny: I don't understand.

Alexis: I think it means you've won.

[Judge pounds gavel]

Judge: Order in this courtroom. Mr. Ruiz, will you please face the court? Due to the seriousness of the crimes you committed before the surgery, you will continue with appropriate psychiatric treatment and evaluation. You will be placed on parole and you will complete your community service at general hospital.

John: Oh, your honor, with all due respect, that is absurd!

[Judge pounds gavel]

John: It's ridiculous.

Judge: You will wear an ankle monitor at all times and your movements will be restricted to a five-mile radius of port charles police department. You understand?

Manny: Yes, your honor.

Judge: This court is adjourned.

[Judge pounds gavel]

Lulu: Ew. That's not real.

Dillon: That can't be real.

Tracy: Of course it's real. Hopefully it's luke.

Lulu: Wish it was you.

Dillon: Was that necessary?

Tracy: That little monster made me give up my leverage for practically nothing.

Dillon: Uh, if you wanted luke to stay, you shouldn't have faked your own death.

Tracy: I was only dead for less than 24 hours. As usual, luke is overreacting.

Skye: With a wife like you, who can blame luke for staying gone.

Tracy: Well, that's because you're jealous because luke doesn't --

[Doorbell rings]

Tracy: Care anything about you.

Lorenzo: Alice. Nice to see you.

Alice: Same here, sir. Very nice indeed.

[Lorenzo whistles]

Lorenzo: Well, our plane awaits.

Skye: Hi.

Lorenzo: Hi. Thank you.

Nikolas: Hi. I'm looking for courtney matthews. Is she staying here?

Woman: Well, she's supposed to be. But on the day she arrived, a tall blond guy showed up. He said he was her husband, and I haven't seen them since.

Helena: Save your strength, my dear. You're going to need it.

Courtney: Why are you doing this?

Helena: I wouldn't trust you with the care and feeding of a house cat, much less the rearing of the new cassadine heir.

Courtney: Ok, I'm going to tell you this one last time -- nikolas is not the father of my baby. And even if he were, you would have no say in how we raise our child.

Helena: Oh, you may live to regret those words -- that is if I let you live at all.

Courtney: You know, you can't keep me locked up in here forever, helena.

Helena: Well, that was never the intention. No, you see, when this baby is born, a reliable D.N.A. Test will be performed. And whatever the results, your child will either inherit the cassadine name and fortunes or be given up for adoption. But either way, you will not be involved.

Courtney: Nikolas will never let you get away with this.

Helena: Now, pay attention, my dear. If you ever want to hold this baby that you're carrying, you must convince my grandson that you never want to see him again.

Courtney: I broke it off with nikolas before I left port charles. There's nothing to say.

Reporter: Ms. Davis, ms. Davis, how does it feel to win?

Carly: Jase, I need to talk to you about sonny and emily. It's important.

Jason: Carly, this is not -- carly --

carly: It's important.

Alexis: The law stated that he was not accountable for his actions prior to his surgery.

John: This verdict is a travesty of justice. Ms. Davis just unleashed a known killer into our community.

>> On the next "general hpital" --

robin: You officially have one hour, and then we go home.

Patrick: To your place?

Emily: Alexis won.

Lucky: Manny will go after sonny, and that's putting you in real danger.

Sam: You've been lying l along!

Jason: Stay away.

Sonny: Not here.

John: Mr. Morgan, that was a clear case of assault.
