Skye: I know what you're up to. It's not going to work.
Lucas: Remember me?
Frank: Yeah, I remember. You're the queer I dropped in the park with the rest of the trash. Agh!
Coleman: Hey, knock it off! Hey! Hey!
Emily: We're both moving on, Nikolas. We get to make our own decisions.
Nikolas: Sonny is a criminal.
Emily: He's also a good, kind man.
Nikolas: Oh, come on, Emily. He uses women. He's done it over and over, and I don't want you next in the long line of Sonny's whores.
Sonny: Nikolas, what's it going to take you to leave Emily alone?
Nikolas: Well, you can try anything you like, Sonny, but that's not going to change the facts. She gets involved with you, she'll end up destroyed like every other woman who's walked into your life under their own power and went out in either a body bag or a straitjacket.
Emily: Nikolas, please, just leave us alone.
Sonny: You better get yourself inside before Alexis has you arrested for contempt.
Sam: Yeah, that's right, Manny. That's what I said. You are a little man in every way, who can't handle a woman unless she's tied up, scared, gagged!
Judge: Ms. McCall --
Sam: You may be fooling everyone else, but you cannot fool me. We both know that, don't we? You are the same twisted pervert you have always been.
Judge: Ms. Davis, control your witness.
Alexis: I have no further questions, your honor.
Judge: You're excused, Ms. McCall.
Sam: Manny's lying. I almost had proof, Jason.
Jason: It's ok. What we need to do is just get you out of here, ok?
Alexis: I see my missing witness has shown up. The defense calls Jason Morgan to the stand, please, your honor.
Lulu: It's this house that makes you paranoid. I'm not up to anything.
Skye: All right, you know what? You and I need to have a little heart-to-heart. Why don't we take a walk; have a little privacy. The snow looks amazing.
Lulu: No. Uh -- traipsing around in the freezing cold is not exactly my idea of a good time.
Skye: Ok. Then we'll sit here and talk.
Lulu: Let's not and say we did.
Skye: Sit, Lulu. See, if it's true you're not up to anything, it's because you haven't formulated a game plan yet.
Lulu: Hmm. You sound like you think you know me.
Skye: Oh, I'm working on it. See, we're not really all that different, you and I. And I know how upset I'd be at Tracy if she tried to make me doubt my sanity by appearing to me as a ghost, or had my father accused of attempted murder so that he'd go on the run to avoid arrest.
Lulu: Great. What does this exactly have to do with me?
Skye: I know you're keeping all that rage inside, biding your time until you can find a way to get back at Tracy. But, Lulu, I am begging you, please let it go. You think that you know what Tracy’s capable of. Believe me, you haven't even scratched the surface, ok? I don't want to see you getting hurt.
Lulu: Ok, it's really nice that you care, but Tracy can't hurt me.
Skye: I don't think you're listening.
Lulu: Um --
Skye: I see you're too distracted by wanting to get out of here to go help your father. By the way, you're not traveling light enough to help Luke.
Lulu: I don't understand what that means.
Skye: Well, you see, when Luke’s out in the world, he doesn't like excess baggage. And believe me, I've learned that through bitter experience. Lulu, come on. Please stay. Your father is going to be fine. He knows how to take care of himself. You stay, and together we will find a way to help him from here.
Lulu: "We"? I thought you didn't love my father anymore. Why would you go out and try and clear his name?
Skye: You know it's not that easy to stop loving somebody cold. Now, I may be running from my own life, but that doesn't mean I can't worry about Luke. And besides, I certainly don't want to see him going to prison over Tracy’s nonsense. And -- well, I promised him that I'd look out for you here. It's not exactly an easy house to be alone in.
Lulu: What exactly do you want from me? I mean, how do you see any relationship between us falling out?
Skye: I'd like to be your friend.
Lulu: That's it? Because I don't need anyone replacing my mom.
Skye: In case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly the maternal type. No, Lulu. Come on, you stay, and together we will ride out Tracy. And then we will find a way to clear Luke’s name, and then we will find a way to bring Tracy down.
Tracy: Oh, plotting my demise again? That's not very gracious, considering the two of you are both interlopers under my roof.
Skye: Monica's roof.
Tracy: Oh, blah, blah, blah. I seem to be stuck with you. Somehow you've managed to ingratiate yourself into a position of pseudo-family. However, with Luke gone, this one doesn't need to stick around. Pack your rags and get out.
Coleman: Come on, knock it --
Jesse: Oh, hey, hey, break it up! Come on, break it -- get off him! Get off!
Coleman: Easy, easy, man! Easy.
Jesse: Easy, easy. You just stay back.
Frank: You're a cop?
Lucky: What are you doing?
Lucas: Fighting back for a change.
Frank: He started it. I was sitting here minding my own business. This guy came in and attacked me!
Lucky: Is that what you saw, Coleman?
Coleman: I didn't see how it started.
Frank: I want to press charges.
Jesse: Anything you want to add?
Emily: I don't need you running around like a caveman, Nikolas, throwback in the name of protecting me. You're not my husband anymore.
Nikolas: No, no, I'm not, but I am still your friend.
Emily: Well, then start acting like it and butt out of my personal life.
Nikolas: Hey, what -- what I said about Sonny is true and you know it. You know it. Come on, you're Jason’s sister; you've seen it. Sonny's children get kidnapped. Everyone thinks Michael is dead, and why, Emily? Because of Sonny, and because of the life that he leads. And Carly. What, you watch Carly get carted off to a mental institution? Lily? Hey, you knew her before she exploded.
Emily: Stop. What part of "leave me alone" do you not understand? You moved on from me -- with Courtney. It's not my favorite thing that's ever happened, but ultimately it was your choice, all right? This is mine. Find a life of your own to manage or manage Courtney’s. Just know that you're not going to be managing mine. You have no say in what I do or who I choose to do it with, and I never want to have this conversation again.
Alexis: You go by the name of Jason Morgan, is that correct?
Jason: Yes, it is.
Alexis: But that's not your real name.
Jason: It's my legal name.
Alexis: What was the name that you were born with?
Jason: Jason Quartermaine.
Alexis: And Jason Quartermaine is who you considered yourself to be before the accident that caused brain damage?
Jason: I don't remember Jason Quartermaine.
Alexis: Well, you've certainly been told about your life prior to the accident, haven't you?
Jason: Yes, but isn't that hearsay? Inadmissible in court?
Alexis: Is Jason Morgan a better man than Jason Quartermaine?
Jason: I just told you I don't remember my old life, so I have no basis for comparison.
Alexis: Fair enough. So let me help you --
Alexis: Draw a conclusion. Was Jason Quartermaine ever arrested? And this is to the best of your knowledge, and feel free to base your answer deemed on what you call hearsay, since your job is not to define the law or how it applies. It's my job, it's the judge's job, it's the jury's job, not yours.
John: Your honor, counsel is badgering.
Judge: Just ask the question, Ms. Davis.
Alexis: Thank you, your honor. Was Jason Quartermaine ever arrested? Is that too difficult of a question?
Jason: No. Actually, I don't know if he was or not.
Alexis: I'm going to help you again.
Alexis: The answer is no. It's a matter of public record.
Alexis: Nor was Jason Quartermaine ever linked to organized crime. Jason Morgan is a completely different animal than Jason Quartermaine.
John: Objection to the characterization "animal" and to the fact that we're hearing more testimony out of Ms. Davis than we are the witness.
Judge: Sustained. Move along, Ms. Davis.
Alexis: Do you know Manny Ruiz?
Alexis: If you see him, can you point him out in the courtroom, please? Thank you. Have you had any contact with Mr. Ruiz since his surgery?
Alexis: Have you or have you not seen a profound change in Mr. Ruiz?
Jason: No. Mr. Ruiz is the same disturbed mental case he's always been.
Lulu: I'm way ahead of you, Tracy. You couldn't pay me to stay in this house without my dad.
Tracy: Good. We agree on something.
Lulu: You know, I'm not surprised that Dillon wants to stay as far away from you as possible. I mean, we both know what it's like not having our fathers around, but at least my mother was a real human being.
Skye: Wait, Lulu -- Lulu, please wait. Come on, don't go. She's right, you know. It's one thing to play your nasty, vengeful games with grownups, but to take it out on an innocent girl?
Tracy: "Innocent"? Give me a break. She's about as innocent as her guilty-as-sin father.
Skye: Oh, please. Luke did not try to poison you and you know it -- although somebody should.
Tracy: Ooh, my. You sound like an accomplice. And by the way, don't lose any sleep over Lulu. She'll land on her feet. Spencers always do.
Frank: I hope you won't take offense about me hitting on your girl earlier. I didn't know she was police property.
Lucky: Something going on with you and the vic?
Jesse: That guy's no vic. Notice the damage to Lucas' face? Frank beat him up the other night.
Lucky: Do you know why? Listen, I know I'm not supposed to bring my personal life to work, but Lucas is my cousin. If he's mixed up in something bad, I need to know.
Dillon: What the hell is wrong with you? One minute you're crashing at my house, and then you're beating up the gay-basher?
Lucas: Look, I stood up for myself, and you know what? It felt good.
Georgie: So, wait, the police know that he baited you and beat you up, right?
Lucas: No, and that's how it's going to stay because I don't want anyone to know I'm gay.
Georgie: But, Lucas, that means that --
Lucas: No one.
Jesse: Who knows why it happened? My point is, Frank started it and Lucas went for payback.
Lucky: Well, then we have a problem. Lucas didn't bother to report the assault or file charges, but Frank is. Lucas is the one who's in trouble.
Lulu: Oh, my -- stop it! You're scaring me! What in the world is wrong?
Alexis: I have a few depositions. Would you mind taking a look?
Alexis: May I approach? Thank you. I've highlighted some of the places that you probably need to go check. These are all depositions from your parents, Monica and Alan Quartermaine.
Alexis: This is Robin Scorpio, your ex-girlfriend. These are all people from your previous incarnation who knew you better than anyone else.
Alexis: From what you can gather by taking a quick look, would you say that they describe or they're describing Jason Quartermaine as a mild-mannered, kind man who was pursuing a career in medicine?
Jason: Yeah, that's what it says right there.
Alexis: Would you say that that's a far cry from the man that you are today?
Jason: I don't want to be a doctor anymore.
Alexis: I have no further questions, your honor.
Sonny: This is the chance Durant’s been waiting for.
Judge: Mr. Durant?
John: I have nothing.
Judge: Mr. Morgan, you're excused.
Ric: That's a bad idea. It's too risky.
Jason: Come on, let's get out of here.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Ms. Davis, call your next witness.
Alexis: Your honor, I would like to question someone that isn't on the list, but I don't think the prosecution is going to have any objections.
John: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down, Susie. I'll be the judge of that.
Alexis: The defense would like to call Manny Ruiz.
Nikolas: What -- I need another drink.
Lulu: No, you need to chill. Don't be like my dad, getting drunk and breaking things. It is beyond pointless and it's beneath you.
Nikolas: Wait a minute, where -- where are you going?
Lulu: I'm there. Tracy threw me out.
Nikolas: She threw -- what -- well, she can't do that.
Lulu: Well, it doesn't matter. I was packed and ready to go, anyway.
Nikolas: Ok, what, do you want to move in here?
Lulu: Maybe later. First, I need to help dad. Tracy framed him for attempted murder, and now he's on the run and the police are looking for him. Not that that's news, but this time I'm thinking maybe I can do something and find --
Nikolas: What -- no. No, no, no, no, no. Forget it. You are not going after Luke, ok? Forget it.
Lulu: Ok -- well, maybe you can, then. You have --
Lulu: Yes, you have contacts and money, and if anyone can find someone, it would be you.
Nikolas: It's a little difficult, Lulu, to find someone who doesn't want to be found, ok?
Lulu: Well, I'm going to try.
Nikolas: He's a fugitive, and that would make you one. Is that what you want?
Lulu: I want my dad! I want my dad to be free from that farce of a marriage to that horrible woman so he can get out of that hell house and start a life.
Nikolas: You're not responsible for him!
Lulu: He is my father, ok? He doesn't deserve to be hunted down for a crime that didn't even happen. I need to find him and tell him that Tracy is still alive, so that we can team up and make her pay.
Nikolas: I know -- I know that you're angry at Tracy, and rightfully so. But don't let that anger be what you're all about, ok, because it'll turn on you.
Lulu: Well, I'm not going to let her win.
Nikolas: "Win"? Do you hear yourself? Come on, grow up. All right, I'm sorry, ok? I'm sorry. That's not -- that's not fair. This isn't even about you.
Lulu: It's ok. It's ok. No, I can tell you're hurting. It's pretty clear with the hurling of the glass.
Lulu: What is going on?
Nikolas: It's just been -- it's been a tough couple of days for me.
Lulu: Ok. If you want me to grow up, you could help by treating me like an adult -- or at least like a caring sister who wants to help. You're not exactly turning people away at the door --
Lulu: So you might as well tell me.
Nikolas: Ok. I asked Courtney to marry me. She said yes. And practically in the same breath, she said it was over, and then she took off to -- well, who knows where? I'm not allowed to look.
Nikolas: I don't know. There's just -- I mean, there's been a lot of tension. You know, Jax and I -- we don't get along, and he is a constant presence in her life because of the baby. And then there's -- you know, then there's Emily and -- I mean, are you sure you want to hear --
Nikolas: About all -- ok. Emily doesn't want anything to do with me, either. The both of them are just -- they're making bad choices all over the place, and I have absolutely no control over it.
Lulu: Why would you want to control them?
Skye: What kind of a monster are you? Throwing a hurt, confused 17-year-old out to the street? And why, Tracy, hmm? Out of spite? Fear? Lulu wasn't doing anything to hurt you.
Tracy: She was about to -- with your help. I heard the two of you plotting to take me down." As if you could.
Skye: All right. This isn't about you or me, or even Luke. This is about a young girl you've left to the whims of fate. Have you even considered what kind of harm could come to Lulu out there on her own in the streets?
Tracy: Instead of wasting your time worrying about Lulu, why don't you save a little bit of that compassion for all the people she's about to mow down?
Skye: I know why you threw Lulu out. You're hoping that Luke will hear his little girl's out on the streets, and he'll come out of hiding to get her back.
Jesse: You and I know what really happened. Frank figured out you were gay. He baited you to take a ride with him, and when you got near the park, he turned on you and he beat you into the ground. That's a hate crime. He shouldn't get away with it. No, Frank's the one that should go to jail, not you. Help yourself out, Lucas. Admit you're gay, and tell what really happened.
Lucky: I understand this is your second mix-up with Lucas. You got the best of him the other time?
Frank: What do you know about it?
Lucky: I'm just trying to piece it all together. Sounded like to me that you're the one who started all this.
Frank: That guy is a queer, ok? I was being nice giving him a ride, and then the minute we get in the car, he comes on to me.
Alexis: Then you admit that you committed those crimes?
Manny: All of them. Without question. But it horrifies me to think of what I did.
Alexis: Do you believe that you're capable of murder now?
Alexis: Sexual assault?
Alexis: When did you first notice a change in your personality?
Manny: After I woke up from the operation.
Alexis: You see, this is exactly the same thing as Jason Morgan. He started out as a mild-mannered, gentle man. He suffered brain trauma, became aggressive. He's now a mob enforcer.
John: Your honor, I'm going to have to object to that.
Alexis: Mr. Ruiz, how do you feel about the crimes you committed?
Manny: Horrible. But I'm glad that there was a medical reason and that I'm not this irredeemable person.
Judge: Ms. McCall, take your seat.
Sam: Am I the only one in this room with a brain, who has eyes? This guy is playing all of you! Can't you see that?
Judge: Remove her.
Jason: Sam, just calm down.
Sam: If Manny walks out of here, I hope you're the first person he goes after.
Skye: It's driving you crazy that Luke took off. You thought this constant game of one-upmanship would be enough to keep him around, keep him interested. Lord knows you can't do it any other way.
Tracy: Don't be so smug. He didn't stick around for you, either.
Skye: There's no reason to. I finally came to my senses and realized I don't want Luke anymore.
Tracy: Uh-huh. What you realize is that Luke’s love for you -- such as it is -- isn't compelling enough to make him change. He's a danger junkie, easily distracted, apt to disappear at a moment's notice. I will never understand it. What makes women fall in love with men they want to change?
Skye: I don't want to change Luke. But I don't want to change myself for him, either. I need more than Luke can give me, and somewhere down the line when I wasn't even looking, I realized that wasn't good enough for me. I need to be chosen, to come first. I deserve that much.
Tracy: Bully for you.
Skye: Look --
Skye: You and I are adults. What we want or expect is for us to either come to terms with or not. But Lulu is the one who needs to be considered here. Now, if you're too much of a cold-hearted bitch to reconsider because it's the right thing to do, then think about how throwing Lulu out on the streets is going to impact you. If Luke finds out that something has happened to his little girl because of what you did, he might just kill you for real.
Nikolas: I love Courtney, you know? And I still care about Emily. And I -- I -- I want to help them both, but they won't let me. And it's so frustrating watching them make life-altering mistakes, knowing that there's nothing that I can do to fix it, and I want to so badly. Here's how it is, ok? When you love someone -- I mean, when you truly love someone, you have that, you know, that connection that can never be broken. Even if you think that you don't love them anymore or that they don't love you or, you know, you're fighting or you say something ugly and in anger --
Lulu: Yeah, no, it's like me and my dad and --
Lulu: And all the fights that we have and all the awful things that we say to each other, and the minute that he's in trouble and takes off, I want to do whatever I can to help him -- just like mom did.
Lulu: I told you that I saw her, right?
Lulu: It was awful. She didn't even know who I was.
Nikolas: He -- he took you there? How could he do that to you?
Lulu: It was -- it was sort of my fault. I was running away, like I was doing today, even though Skye asked me not to --
Lulu: And like I was going to run out of here.
Nikolas: Away from all the people who care about you and who want to help you. What about right now?
Lulu: I don't know. You want me to go back to the Quartermaines', don't you?
Nikolas: I just want you to stop running, Lulu, and make a choice about what you believe in and whoever you love.
Lulu: Ok. I will. Will you?
Mike: You know, I was disappointed to see her go. I mean, I -- I want Courtney to put her and the baby's needs first, as always, but -- I don't know. I'm a little disappointed that I wouldn't be around to see my next grandchild's birth.
Bobbie: Well, that's understandable. I guess all the pressure finally got to Courtney, huh?
Mike: Yeah, well, Jax and Nikolas have been acting like a couple of jackasses.
Mike: But you know, I can't help but wonder how much confusion that I might've contributed by leaving Courtney and her mom in the first place.
Bobbie: Well, I've stayed awake many a night thinking pretty much the same thing. You know I gave Carly up when she was born. Lord knows she has her share of issues. B.J. was taken away from me much too soon. And so I feel as if I've been overcompensating with Lucas, because it's my last chance to get this whole parenting thing right.
Mike: Hmm. Well, I'd say that you've made it. Lucas is a great kid.
Bobbie: Oh, yeah, he is, he is, but it's just lately --
Bobbie: I don't know, I feel like he's pulling away from me.
Mike: Well, you know, I'd worry if he didn’t.
Bobbie: You want to know the truth? I am worried, because Lucas is isolated, you know? I mean, he doesn't even have a girlfriend -- at least not one that I can see. And if he does, he certainly doesn't want me to meet her, which causes deeper concerns. And he didn't come home last night. And so I'm worried that he could be getting mixed up with the wrong crowd.
Mike: You know, Bobbie, maybe -- maybe you're overreacting. I mean, it sounds pretty normal to me -- adolescence, boys becoming men -- all that.
Bobbie: Hmm, yeah, I know. Ah, you're probably right. I mean, you know, someday -- maybe even soon -- Lucas is going to meet a woman and she's going to be the first woman in his life, and then he'll get married and -- and you and I will be showing off our grandkids to each other.
Maxie: This is like the worst-kept secret in town. You guys know Lucas is gay, I know, Jesse knows. What's the big deal?
Georgie: Lucas' friends are not the problem. It's the people that will judge him and tell him it's wrong to be who he is.
Maxie: Ok, who cares about them?
Dillon: Uh -- Lucas, obviously.
Maxie: I just couldn't keep a huge part of myself a secret because I was afraid of what some strangers might say.
Dillon: Or do.
Lucky: We're family. I'm trying to help you here, but you're not giving me much to work with. If I'm to believe you, you walked into Jake’s and you beat this guy up out of the blue. Then I hear from Jesse that Frank beat you up first, but so far, I don't hear why. Now I have Frank saying that you're gay and accuses you of hitting on him.
Lucas: He's lying. I never touched him.
Lucky: Ok, then what was the fight about?
Lucas: A pool game. I thought he was cheating, I got mad. We mixed it up and Frank got the best of me. I went back to settle the score, end of story.
Jesse: And you're sticking to it?
Lucky: That means you're going to be booked on assault charges.
Jason: What happened to not letting your hatred for Manny rule your life?
Sam: You don't know what happened. Manny -- he's faking the whole thing. I set him up.
Jason: What, you set him up? What are you saying?
Sam: Yes, I went into the holding room, I had my phone on record.
Manny: I was just sitting there when Sam McCall came in. She ripped her blouse, started screaming and crying for help, and I didn't know what to do. I was just -- you know, I was in shock.
Sam: Manny is fast. He caught me off-guard. Come on, you know how arrogant he is. I got him to admit that he was faking the whole thing. And then he was like -- he was groping me and he felt my phone in my pocket. He pushed me up against the wall, he ripped my shirt open. Thank God Ric and Alexis came in when they did, because God knows what would've happened.
Alexis: What do you think would've happened if Ric and I hadn't come in the room?
Manny: I don't know. I think Sam was just trying to make me angry so I would attack her so she could say that I hadn't changed. I mean, it was awful seeing the hate in her eyes, but maybe the person I -- I used to be deserved it.
Alexis: Which is exactly the point, isn't it? That the person that you used to be -- that man would've had a violent reaction.
Manny: I would say so.
Alexis: Would you say that the person that you need to be would've used the opportunity to escape when there was an attack on the jail transfer van?
Manny: That, too.
Alexis: What did you do in the holding room with Sam?
Manny: Nothing. That must be why she got so angry. Or maybe she heard you and Mr. Lansing coming, so she smashed the phone because she knew nothing was on it to incriminate me.
Alexis: And she blamed you?
Sam: Manny actually blamed me and, of course, Ric and Alexis believed him.
Jason: Sam, what were you thinking, going in there?
Sam: What was I thinking?
Sam: Jason, I was scared to death. I'm sick of his lies. I didn't know where you were. I didn't know what to do.
Jason: I'm sorry. I thought they'd be doing jury selection still.
Sam: Yeah, so did I. But Alexis -- she had the trial pushed up and she's pulling every trick in the book right now.
Judge: You ready for cross?
John: More than ready, your honor.
Judge: Mr. Ruiz, are you ill?
Manny: I just -- I'm ok. It just happens sometimes ever since the operation.
Judge: We'll take 10-minute recess to give Mr. Ruiz a chance to recover.
Sam: Alexis is going to get Manny acquitted. He is going to walk out of this courthouse and come after every single one of us unless someone does something to stop him first.
Nikolas: It'll all work out, all right? Just have a little faith.
Lulu: In my dad?
Skye: In yourself. You're a lot stronger than you ink you are, a lot more special than people tell you.
Lulu: Thanks. And do I get to worry about you a little, too?
Nikolas: If it keeps you out of trouble.
Lulu: I love you. And it'll all work out, ok? You're strong, and if mom were here, she would agree with me about how special you are.
Nikolas: Thank you. Bye.
Ned: Can I speak to you for just a minute?
Nikolas: Yeah, sure. Ahem.
Ned: I assume you know that Emily has been spending a lot of time with Sonny.
Nikolas: Listen, I -- I can't get into that right now, Ned.
Ned: Really? Not even to save her life?
Skye: I'm so relieved you decided to come home. I've been going crazy calling everywhere looking for you. Discreetly, of course. Nobody knows that you left except me.
Lulu: And Tracy. So how do we fix her so we can get dad back?
Ned: It's obvious that Emily now has feelings for Sonny. First she denied it, and now she admits it. And I understand they went out on a date, which means that Sonny is now consenting to be a part of this mess. Emily will not listen to me. She may listen to you.
Nikolas: No, no, she won’t. She won't listen to me, either, Ned, and I am done talking to her about it. I'm done because I have to for me, ok? And she's made it very clear to me that this is none of my business, and quite frankly, it isn’t. So I'm sorry, I'm just sorry, but it's not my place to help Emily anymore.
Carly: Hey. Well, Alexis was putting on a show, wasn't she?
Jason: Manny's faking all of it. He attacked Sam in the holding room.
Sonny: Alexis is so impressed with her own legal brilliance, she can't see what's right in front of her. Manny is a threat to everybody I love, including Kristina.
Carly: We have to do something.
Sonny: How's Sam?
Jason: She's edgy, angrier than I've ever seen her.
Alexis: Manny seems all right.
Ric: Yeah, why didn't you tell me that he was going to delay cross-examination while the jury was left with all those warm and fuzzy images?
Alexis: Didn't have anything to do with that. Do you think that he's faking it?
Ric: I'm a little worried that he might be. What if he is, Alexis? What if Sam is telling the truth?
Alexis: What am I supposed to do about it now? It's not my job to believe him. It's not my job to even like him. It's my job to defend him, which is what I'm doing.
Ric: I know.
Alexis: The medical research said that he's a changed man. I haven't seen any -- any evidence that indicates otherwise.
Ric: Oh, what about that little deal in the holding area with Sam?
Alexis: I don't know that I can believe her, either. Have you seen her rap sheet? It's this long. She's a polished con woman. I understand -- believe me, I understand why she's so upset. What he did to her was horrible. But if she did frame him, she didn't have any right.
Dillon: Lucas, they're going to put you in jail. Say something.
Lucas: It's my word against Frank's. I'm gay. Who do you think they're going to believe?
Georgie: That's awful, Lucas.
Lucas: That's just the way it is. People don't get it. My parents don't know, and they don't get it. This isn't a pity party. It's just the facts. It's my choice, so lay off.
Maxie: God, if I had let you bait Frank as the basher he is instead of getting in the way --
Lucky: Obviously, there's a lot going on here that I don't know about.
Jesse: I was at Jake’s earlier. Maxie came in; Frank started hitting on her.
Lucky: Maxie -- at Jake’s? And? Come on, out with it. What's going on with Lucas?
Bobbie: I'd like to hear the answer to that.
Jesse: Lucas was in a fight at Jake’s.
Bobbie: Well, that much I know, because I posted your bail. Lucas, why didn't you call me? Why did I have to hear about this from Lucky?
Lucky: Lucas is free to go, but there will be a hearing.
Bobbie: Ok, fine. We'll call Justus.
Lucas: Look, I don't want to discuss this with anybody.
Bobbie: Lucas -- you didn't just get these bruises. Which means there was another fight. And you didn't come home last night. What's going on with you? None of this is like you.
Lucas: You don't know what I'm like.
Bobbie: I know what you're like, honey. You're my son. Come on, you're my baby boy.
Lucas: I'm not your baby boy. You know, there's a whole life you don't know about me or want to know!
Bobbie: All right, you're upset. Obviously, this is not the time or place, so let's go home and talk because there's never been anything you and I couldn't talk --
Lucas: How about the fact that I'm gay? See my mother's face? That's why I didn't come out sooner!
Bobbie: Lucas, I don't understand.
Lucas: Let me -- let me clear it up for you. I am officially the biggest disappointment of your life. Let me ease the pain. Tell yourself I'm adopted. That'll make it a whole lot easier.
Lucas: Listen up, everyone. It's not my parents' fault. I mean, look at -- look at Lucky. Straight as an arrow. This is what a Spencer man is supposed to look like! There's no way I have any of those genes in me! Being gay is all my fault! Right, mom?
Skye: I really didn't expect to see you here.
Lorenzo: Well, when I realized we were both going to be out at this afternoon's G.H. board meeting, I thought it was a perfect chance to have dinner afterwards.
Skye: This isn't nearly as innocent as you'd like me to think.
Manny: You bitch. You set me up!
Manny: So now, Sweetness, you're going to get to know me a whole lot better.
Sam: Get off!
Manny: What do you want?
Emily: I've looked around, and Justus is still checking, but so far, there's no sign of Sam.
Sonny: Go. You and Carly stay here!
Emily: Hey, Carly, Sonny said stay here.
Ric: What -- what the hell's going on?
Sonny: Whatever it is, it's over.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Elizabeth: What's wrong?
Dillon: You kind of left things unresolved with your mom.
Lucas: I can't face her right now.
Skye: Stop manipulating me. I need you to be truthful to me.
Alexis: Who shot you, Manny?
Sam: Harbor View Towers please.
