Sam: I know that you are a liar and a freak, and I know the monster is in there. Where is he, Manny? Where are you hiding him? This game you're playing -- it's not going to work. You're going to spend the rest of your life in prison and the only time you're going to leave is when they bury you, and that cannot be soon enough for me. You are pathetic. Do you know that? How does it feel -- how does it feel to be the helpless one now? You have no say, no control. Your fate is in my hands. Huh? How do you like that?

Manny: You want me? Huh? You got him. I'm the one who has you.

Sam: Ugh! Get off! You disgusting pig.

Manny: Hey, is that any way to talk to your new boyfriend?

Courtney's voice: "Dear Nikolas, by the time you get this, I'll already be gone, away from Port Charles and out of your life. I'm going to have the baby on my own and I don't want you to follow me."

Nikolas: I don't want Emily back. I want a life with you and your baby. I want -- I want to marry you. Why is that so hard for you to accept, huh? Is it true that I was worried about Emily when I saw her having dinner with Sonny? Yes. But it's just because I'm worried about her being with somebody who -- who could end up getting her killed, that's all. Emily's a good person and I'll always care about her. But I don't love her. I love you.

Courtney: What if I don't love you?

Emily: You think with Courtney gone I'm going to go rushing back to Nikolas? Well, sorry to blow your plans, Carly, but it's not going to happen.

Carly: Well, here's a news flash, Emily. You and Sonny aren't going to happen, either.

Sonny: Carly! Don't do this.

Sonny: We're divorced, Carly. We're free to do whatever we want to do. But then again, you know, I go and have dinner with Emily, and you come here and harass her.

Carly: That's not why I'm here, Sonny.

Sonny: Did you or did you not tell her that her and I are not going to happen?

Carly: Yes, but I was standing here waiting for you, and she barged in.

Sonny: You know what? I wanted to believe it when you said that you would stand up and you were trying to get a new life for yourself, the whole thing.

Carly: That's happening, but I happen to care about you.

Sonny: This is my home! You don't get to barge in here and harass Emily whenever you feel like venting!

Carly: I'm here looking for Jason because he didn't show up at Manny's trial, and if he doesn't show up by 6:00, they're going to hold him in contempt. So maybe, Sonny, you should be worried about your friends and less worried about Emilyís delicate feelings. Excuse me.

[Door slams]

Courtney: You know, we got together when we were both going through difficult times and you were wonderful. You were. You listened to me, you understood me, you -- you accepted me and supported me.

Nikolas: Yeah. Yeah, you know, you've done the same for me. I don't understand.

Courtney: It's just -- fate just kept throwing us together and it seemed like it was meant to be, but -- but it was a mistake, you know?

Nikolas: What do you mean? You're saying because -- because I had a reaction, one reaction to seeing Emily with Sonny? Now you don't love me anymore?

Courtney: No, I'm just --

Nikolas: What are you --?

Courtney: I'm just being realistic here, Nikolas, you know? You -- you're so preoccupied with what was going on at Sonny and Emilyís table you barely even spoke to me.

Nikolas: I know, and I -- I apologized. I tried to -- I tried to explain to you --

Courtney: Look, it wasn't the first time, Nikolas. Every time you and Emily are in the same room you can't take your eyes off each other. It's just not --

Nikolas: How could you say that? I've never acted that way around you before.

Courtney: Well, your friends and your family see it, too, ok? Why do you think they keep trying to push you two together? Because they know that you're still in love with her.

Nikolas: Because we were married, we have a history! Of course my friends are going to want us to be together!

Courtney: All divorced couples have a history, but they leave it in the past and they move on. You haven't because you canít.

Nikolas: But it is in the past! I don't love Emily anymore! I love you! I want a life with you! I want a family with you! I want to marry you!

Courtney: Are you saying that because you mean it or because you think you should?

Nikolas: I'm saying -- I'm being honest with you, Courtney.

Courtney: I just -- you're not being honest with yourself, and I can't -- I can't do this anymore.

Nikolas: What do you mean? I -- so you're just going to give up just like that? Is that what it is?

Courtney: Oh, God, we have been -- God, this has just -- it's been building for weeks, Nikolas. I mean, your refusal to accept Jax as the father of my baby, your ultimatum to cut Jax out of my life.

Nikolas: I said those things because -- because he's poison to you! He doesn't deserve to be in your life and he's been trying to tear us apart from the beginning, Courtney.

Courtney: Well, if we were really in love and this was meant to be forever, that wouldn't matter.

Nikolas: It doesn't matter. What we have is worth fighting for.

Courtney: Oh, God, we have been fighting -- fighting for months to make this work, ok? At some point it's supposed to just be right and then easy and comfortable, and that hasn't happened.

Nikolas: Please --

Courtney: You know, you just need -- you need to stop holding on to something that is not going to happen, because it's over and we both need to accept it. Ok, because I'm -- I can't be in love with someone who is in love with someone else. Goodbye.

Georgie: Green tea. It's really good for healing.

Lucas: Thanks. And thanks for letting me deal with it my way.

Dillon: I don't -- I don't know. I still think you should report the guy. Guy comes on to you at Jakeís, lures you outside, and then beats the hell out of you for, what, being gay. How twisted is that?

Lucas: You know, he didn't look at me as a person. He looked at me like I was -- I was some abnormal, wrong thing.

Georgie: No, Lucas, he's abnormal.

Lucas: Yeah, but I understand how he feels.

Georgie: Lucas, don't say that.

Lucas: When I was growing up, I was disgusted with myself. You know, I couldn't figure out why I didn't think like everyone else, why I couldn't think straight. By the time I got to junior high, I got up enough guts to talk to one of my teachers about my feelings. She said that there was a cure. That I could change my thought process to learn how to be like the normal boys, you know, if I worked really hard.

Georgie: Did she really say that to you?

Lucas: Yeah, but she wasn't a bad person. She believed it. So I -- I tried to be like the other guys. I acted the way that they acted, I -- I liked what they liked. I mean, I was popular. But on the inside I was quietly going insane -- until I met someone who understood. I wasn't crazy or sick or evil. That person was you, Georgie. You -- you helped me so much, and I wish everyone else in the world was as tolerant and open-minded as you are.

Coleman: Yeah?

Jesse: I'll have a beer.

Coleman: Coming up.

Jesse: Thanks.

Man: This seat taken?

Sam: You were faking all along. The surgery didn't change you. You the same piece of garbage you always were.

Manny: You know what I love about you so much?

Sam: What's that, huh?

Manny: You know me so well.

Sam: Get your hands off of me! Get off!

Manny: Oops. You ok? Come here. Did I make a boo-boo?

Sam: Get off. Get off -- get off.

Manny: You bitch. You set me up. So now, Sweetness, you're going to get to know me a whole lot better. Oh! Agh!

Ric: What's going on?

Jax: Nikolas? I'm glad I ran into you. You'll be happy to know that you're free to chase after Emily again.

Nikolas: Well, great, but I don't intend to.

Jax: Well, she's the only one you have. Courtney left town.

Nikolas: What are you talking about?

Jax: She left town. She got on a plane, don't know where.

Nikolas: What do you mean? That's -- that's impossible. I just -- I was just with her. She didn't say anything about that.

Jax: Yeah. Well, she left us both letters, at the loft. The general gist of it was that she's leaving town till she has the baby. She doesn't want us to follow -- me for obvious reasons, you because you're still in love with Emily.

Nikolas: And how would you know that? Did you read the letter that she wrote me?

Jax: I did. Yeah, I wanted to see if she invited you to join her somewhere. But she didnít. She actually broke it off with you.

Nikolas: Right.

Jax: Sorry. Something she should've done a long time ago.

Nikolas: I love Courtney. You know that.

Jax: Yeah. Yeah, as long as she can turn a blind eye to your lingering feelings for Emily, right? That'd be like having your cake and eating it, too.

Nikolas: And this -- this from a man who rigged a paternity test to get the baby no matter -- no matter whose it was.

Jax: I was trying to protect her from your insane family.

Nikolas: Oh.

Jax: She deserves better. Courtney deserves the family that she never had.

Nikolas: Well, Courtneyís bringing this baby up without you, Jax. You're not the family she wants.

Jax: I'm going to find Courtney. Then I'm going to go after her. And I'd really appreciate it if you didnít.

Man: You come here often?

Maxie: Not really. How about you?

Man: It's my second time. Kind of new in town, you know, so I figured I ought to get out, meet a few people. I saw you from across the room and I thought to myself, "Now that's the sort of woman I'd like to get to know."

Maxie: Well, looks can be deceiving.

Man: See, I like that. You got a spark. See, I have a feeling me and you -- we're going to get along just fine.

Jesse: Hey, thanks for keeping my date company.

Man: You with this guy?

Maxie: Uh -- yes.

Jesse: What was that?

Maxie: I was just trying to help.

Jesse: That wasn't helpful. I asked you to stay out of this.

Maxie: I was keeping an eye out for you in case this gay-bashing creep decided to go postal when he found out you were setting him up.

Jesse: It's not up to you to protect me. In fact, it's a really good way to get yourself hurt.

Sonny: How long before Jason lands? Right. All right, just make sure he goes straight to the courthouse. Hey, I know that Carly came here because of Jason. But she had no right to badger you the way she did. I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry.

Emily: No, it's all right. Carly was just being Carly. It's just --

Sonny: Carly's just being Carly -- that's why I'm apologizing.

Emily: The two of you were together for a long time. You shared a life; you have children. Even if Carly has moved on, she's got to have mixed feelings about seeing you with someone else.

Sonny: But there's got to be a point where she backs off.

Emily: That's easier said than done.

Sonny: Oh.

Emily: Yeah, I mean, you must've felt torn when -- when Carly married Alcazar.

Sonny: You don't have to make excuses for Carly because I don't think she'd do the same thing. Like tonight. She's half owner of Metro Court, right?

Emily: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: She knew that you and I were coming in there, that Nikolas and Courtney were. I would bet that her and Jax were in the corner laying odds on who was going to leave first -- Courtney and Nikolas or you and me. See?

Emily: Sonny -- I know you think that I still love Nikolas, and you asked me to take some time and think about what I really want. But I know what I want, and it's you.

Sonny: I don't want you to rush into anything. You got to take your time, still, you know. Like I told you, I'm not going to go anywhere.

Emily: Yeah, neither am I. You know, every relationship has bumps in the road and this is our first, and all we have to do is just try to get past it. So -- unfortunately, I can't stay here and pressure you anymore. I have to get to court. I was called in as a witness in Mannyís case.

Alexis: What's going on?

Manny: I don't know. She came in here and she ripped her blouse --

Sam: No, that is a lie!

Manny: And I guess she wanted me to attack her so she could prove that --

Sam: You did attack me! You pulled your whole fake personality shift, you piece of slime.

Ric: Oh, ok, Sam, unless you have proof --

Sam: I do have proof, Ric, thank you. But Manny -- he threw the phone when he realized that I was recording it. I don't know --

[Phone beeps]

Sam: Good, it's still working. Now everyone can see how dangerous you really are.

Sam's voice: I know that you are a liar and a freak, and I know the monster is in there. Where is he, Manny? Where are you hiding him? This game you're playing -- it's not going to work. You're going to spend the rest of your life in prison and the only time you're going to leave is when they bury you, and that cannot be soon enough for me. You are pathetic. How does it feel to be the --

Sam: No.

Ric: Sam, that --

Sam: Come on. Come on, you guys, don't you see what this proves?

Alexis: Sam, it appears to prove that you set my client up.

Jesse: You tell me you understand that I'm a cop and accept that it can be dangerous. And then you show up while I'm undercover to watch my back?

Maxie: I was worried about you.

Jesse: Maxie, I am trained to handle situations when they get out of hand.

Maxie: Yeah, but you're not working with the PCPD on this one. You're doing it on your own.

Jesse: The gay-basher doesn't know that.

Maxie: If you had gotten hurt, you wouldn't have been able to call for backup.

Jesse: I don't, anyway, when I'm undercover. You need to trust me, Maxie.

Maxie: I do trust -- trust you. But, Jesse --

Jesse: There are no "buts." There was a real chance I could've gotten this guy to hit on me. I could've taken him off the street, but he's still out there, ready to attack another innocent guy like he did Lucas because you got in the way.

Maxie: We can still get him.

Jesse: There is no "we." I asked you stay out of this. You didnít.

Maxie: That's really too bad, Jesse, because I got his phone number.

Courtney's voice: "Dear Nikolas, by the time you get this, I'll already be gone, away from Port Charles and out of your life. You are a good and honorable man who believes in fulfilling his obligations. We saw each other through some difficult times. We connected, had a wonderful romance, and loved each other. But your heart was never free to love me completely. You asked me to marry you, and now we're facing the possibility of being together for the rest of our lives. I'm sure you would've followed through on your promise, even though it's clear this isn't right for you. I loved you once, Nikolas, but I know you don't care about me the way you care about Emily. It hurts too much, so I'm leaving. I'm going to have the baby on my own and I don't want you to follow me. I'm doing this for all of us, Nikolas -- for myself, my child, and you."

Courtney: Hey. Guess where I am right now.

Carly: On a plane to South Carolina?

Courtney: Hmm. Right on the first try.

Carly: Wow. Well, you sound happier already.

Courtney: Well, more like relieved. You know, I'll really miss Nikolas, but I so needed this. Thank you for arranging it.

Carly: Well, hey, what are friends for? Besides, there's no way you can think clearly here. Everything's so crazy in Port Charles. I mean, with Jax pressuring you and Nikolas confusing you, there's no way that you can separate what you wanted from everyone else's agenda. In South Carolina, you can take care of yourself and the baby.

Courtney: Yeah, I saw Nikolas before I left. I broke up with him.

Carly: So, you told them both you were leaving?

Courtney: Actually, I -- I didn't have the courage to do it in person. I -- I wrote letters to both Nikolas and Jax.

Carly: Ok, they're going to freak.

Courtney: And they're going to pressure you and try and get you to tell them where I am, which you can't, no matter who you think I should be with.

Carly: I promised you I wouldn't tell anybody where you are, and I'm not going to, ok?

Courtney: Ok. Thanks.

Carly: Stop worrying about this and you just concentrate on my future Godson or Goddaughter, ok?

Courtney: I will.

Carly: Bye.

Jax: I don't care what you promised Courtney. I want you to tell me where she is.

Alexis: It appears that Ms. McCall tried to entrap my client.

Sam: That is not how it happened.

Alexis: He says that she provoked him; she says that he assault her.

Sam: He did assault me! Will you look at my blouse? It is ripped!

Alexis: He claims that she ripped it.

Sam: Of course he did. He's covering.

Alexis: Sam, you recorded the whole thing on your phone.

John: You did?

Sam: Yes, I did. And guess what -- Manny smashed my phone when he realized I was recording him attacking me!

Manny: Sam, we both know that that's not what happened.

Sam: Why can't you people see that he is lying?

Alexis: Sam, I would advise you not to approach my client again. It is not --

Sam: Yeah, well, guess what -- that psychopath is not going to get back on the street so he can terrorize more innocent people.

John: Sam, Sam, you're not helping the prosecution's case. The jury is going to see you as completely biased.

Sam: Well, guess what, Durant -- I am biased. That man is a lying pig, and I'm going to prove it.

Alexis: You'll get a chance to tell your story on the stand.

Bailiff: Court is reconvening.

Jax: I love Courtney, ok? I want a chance to put our marriage back together. I want to raise our child together.

Carly: I get that, but you need to let Courtney make that choice. You can't bully her into it.

Jax: I just need a chance to talk to her, that -- that's all.

Carly: You're wasting your breath because I'm not going to tell you where she is.

Jax: Look, you know that Nikolas is going to get back together with Emily eventually. That's just a given, and he's going to break Courtneyís heart.

Carly: Courtney has to figure that out on her own.

Jax: You're her best friend.

Carly: Exactly, which is why I'm not going to tell you where she is.

Jax: It's in your best interest, actually, if I get there before Nikolas.

Carly: How's that?

Jax: Because if Nikolas sees us together, he's going to go running right back to Emily, ok, which is going to leave Sonny free to go back to you. Everyone lives happily ever after.

Nikolas: Jax told me Courtney left town. Is that true?

Mike: Yes.

Nikolas: What'd she say to you?

Mike: That she doesn't want you going after her, Nikolas.

Nikolas: But, Mike, I have to. I have to explain to her the truth.

Mike: Look, Courtney needs to be alone right now, so let her handle this her way. When she's ready, she'll contact you.

Nikolas: Listen -- wait, listen to me. I understand that you respect your daughter's wishes, but I'm telling you she's wrong about me.

Mike: Look, it's not my place to say anything, but I can see why she's concerned.

Nikolas: Ok, right, I -- yeah, I -- it's true that I was watching Emily at the Metro Court, but not because I'm in love with her. It's because I'm worried about her being with a gangster -- no disrespect. No disrespect, I know that he's your son, but people in his life end up getting killed and I don't want Emily in that.

Mike: You feel pretty strongly about this.

Nikolas: I do, because I don't want her hurt.

Mike: I don't want my daughter getting hurt.

Nikolas: But I would never hurt Courtney, Mike.

Mike: Maybe -- maybe not intentionally.

Nikolas: Just listen to me. I was going to marry Courtney, ok? I would've devoted my life to making her happy, but now she packs up and she leaves town without telling me because of a misunderstanding? I just can't let that go.

Mike: She is confused. Give her time.

Nikolas: But there is no time, Mike. She's carrying Jaxís child, and he doing everything that he can to influence her against me, ok? And he will keep doing that until she tells me that she doesn't want to see me anymore.

Mike: I'm sorry, but my hands are tied.

Nikolas: Ok. Then you just give her a message for me. Ok? You just tell her not to worry. Tell her that I love her, because I'll give her what she wants.

Ric: Ms. Quartermaine, you heard Dr. Scorpio testify about the A.V. malformation in Mr. Ruiz's brain that caused his aggression. She also stated that he had an operation which alleviated this condition and made him essentially a different man.

Emily: I'm not a doctor.

Ric: Well, no, but you do have a brother who suffered a serious brain injury.

John: Objection, your honor. This line of inquiry has no relevance to the case.

Ric: I intend to prove relevance.

Judge: I'll allow it. Please continue.

Ric: Thank you. Can you tell us about your brother Jason? Isn't it a fact that he had no memory at all of even being your brother after his accident and surgery?

Emily: Yes.

Ric: How would you characterize your brother before the accident?

Emily: He was in medical school; he was close to his family, preppy.

Ric: Huh. A preppy medical school student. The golden boy of one of the wealthiest families in the state -- would that be accurate?

Emily: Yes.

Ric: And then he threw his whole life away. Dropped out of medical school, he cut himself off from his family, and he started working for Sonny Corinthos.

Emily: The family was smothering him. They were trying to force him into being the person he was before the accident.

Ric: But they couldn't do it.

Emily: No.

Ric: Were there any noticeable changes in Jasonís personality?

Emily: A little less outgoing. He was more reserved.

Ric: More cold-blooded, more ruthless.

Emily: No, Ric, I didn't say that.

Ric: He is your brother.

John: Objection, your honor! Defense is practically stuffing words into the witness' mouth.

Judge: Objection sustained. Rephrase your question, counselor.

Ric: Yes, your honor. I'm sorry. Did anybody ever question the change in your brother or think that he was faking it?

Emily: No.

Ric: Ok, so, in essence, you're saying that a person's character can be completely altered. As a result of a brain trauma; that they can, in effect, become a different person?

John: Objection, your honor! Defense continues to lead the witness. Did this man even go to law school?

Ric: I will withdraw, your honor. And, yes, Harvard, thank you, summa cum laude. No more questions.

Judge: You may step down. Call your next witness.

Alexis: Thank you, your honor. The defense calls Sam McCall.

Bailiff: Raise your right hand. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?

Sam: I do.

Georgie: You let the guy pick you up? Maxie, he's dangerous.

Maxie: Jake's was crowded and Jesse was there. Besides, I wasn't going to go outside with the guy.

Dillon: Well, if he beat up Lucas, he's probably violent towards women, too.

Maxie: I'm fine. Jesse would've come to my rescue.

Jesse: He gave Maxie his phone number, so I ran a trace. His name's Frank Rausch.

Dillon: Does he have a record?

Jesse: Nothing. No priors, no outstanding warrants, but we got an address.

Georgie: Ok, so you can arrest him for what he did to Lucas.

Jesse: I can't, unless you're willing to press charges.

Lucas: No chance.

Maxie: Lucas, come on. The guy is a predator. He needs to be locked up.

Lucas: If I press charges, everyone's going to know that I'm gay, including my entire family. I can't handle that.

Georgie: Lucas, you know you're going to have to tell them eventually, so maybe now's the time. You told us, and we love you just as much. They will, too.

Lucas: Yeah -- after they finish mourning my lost manhood.

Dillon: Hey, there's got to be something the police can do to get the guy who beat up Lucas off the street. I mean --

Jesse: No. We got him under surveillance. He goes after someone else, we'll nail him.

Georgie: What if he decides to lay low?

Jesse: Then there's nothing we can do.

Courtney: Hi. I'm Courtney Matthews.

Woman: Hi. I'm Marsha Rhodes. Come in.

Courtney: Thanks.

Marsha: The woman who handled the lease arrangement said you'd like to be left alone.

Courtney: Oh -- um -- yeah, yeah. And if anyone tries contact me, can you please not tell them that I'm here?

Marsha: Don't worry, I'm very discreet. Here's the keys.

Courtney: Ok.

Marsha: Call if you need anything.

Courtney: Thank you. Well, here we are -- new house, new beginning. I am going to relax and enjoy myself. Yeah, sit and read by the fire, take long walks, get some sleep. How does that sound, huh? Yeah, clear my head, get my priorities straight. And by the time I have everything figured out, you'll be here. I can't wait. Yeah, everything's going to work out, sweetheart. Everything's going to be just fine.

Nikolas: Emily, I'm looking for Carly. Have you seen her? Is she --?

Emily: Yeah. She's inside the courtroom.

Nikolas: Thank you.

Emily: Hey, Nikolas. I'm so sorry about Courtney.

Nikolas: You know she left town?

Emily: Yeah, she -- she met with me and told me that she was breaking up with you and that Carly was arranging for her to live someplace else.

Nikolas: Wow.

Emily: Yeah.

Nikolas: You -- well, you got more of a warning than I did. See, Courtney believes that she's -- she's paving the way for the two of us to get back together.

Emily: Yeah, she mentioned that.

Nikolas: Oh, she -- and what was your response to that?

Emily: I told her to take her noble sacrifice and shove it. Courtney was making life-altering decisions without telling you about that, and I knew you were going to be hurt. It isn't fair. You deserve better.

Nikolas: Well, thank you for defending me.

Emily: Listen, what you and Courtney have is between the two of you. I don't want to be put in the middle. But if you truly love her, then I'm sure that you can find a way to make it work.

Nikolas: I don't know. Because Courtney doesn't trust that you and I are over. Look, I don't -- I don't deny that I still think about you, I still worry about you, and I've tried to explain to Courtney that you and I will always have a connection on some level, but she continues to read more into it than there is. I can't get through to her.

Emily: Nikolas, if Courtney claims that she's not in love with you anymore, she's lying. She's only saying that to set you free.

Nikolas: Well, whether she's lying or not, Emily, she's apparently already made up her mind.

Emily: Yeah, but she doesn't understand that I don't want to get back together with you any more than you want to get back together with me.

Alexis: You're Jason Morganís fiancťe, is that correct?

Sam: Yes.

Alexis: Did you know him before the accident?

Sam: Manny Ruiz is not Jason Morgan.

Alexis: Just a simple yes or no, please, Ms. McCall.

Sam: No, you keep hammering away about his accident. Jason is a good man.

Judge: Answer the question, please.

Sam: No, I did not know Jason before the accident.

Alexis: So you expect this court to believe that you're intimate with a man, yet you know nothing about the enormous change--

Sam: Yeah, I really don't care what the court believes.

Judge: Answer the question, Ms. McCall.

Sam: Answer it? Jason, we just said, had brain damage so, no, we have not talked about his life before. He does not remember it.

Alexis: Did Mr. Morgan talk to you about what he does for a living?

Sam: He's a coffee importer.

Alexis: That's interesting, because Mr. Morgan's been arrested for murder, for attempted murder, for arson, and a warehouse bombing. Do those sound like the activities of a coffee importer?

Sam: No -- he has never been convicted of any of those charges.

Alexis: Ms. McCall, I'm going to remind you that you're under oath, and a failure to tell the truth may result in a charge of perjury. Now, isn't it true that Jason Morgan is a professional killer?

John: All right, come on --

[Gallery reacts]

John: Your honor --

[Judge pounds gavel]

Lucas: Remember me?

Jax: Hello? Courtney, I convinced Carly to tell -- Courtney!

Helena: Hello, my dear. Welcome to your new home.

Sam: You want to know who kills people? Your client, not as a job. He kills for sick, sadistic pleasure.

[Gallery reacts]

Judge: Order in the court!

Sam: He tried to hunt me down. He threatened to rape me.

Alexis: Your honor, the witness' statement is highly prejudicial and has absolutely nothing to do with the question that she was just asked.

Judge: Ms. McCall, you're edging close to contempt of court.

Sam: Manny terrorized me over and over again. And then he attacked me in the holding room. Look at my shirt -- he ripped it! But you know what, Manny? You are a pathetic coward who is hiding behind a brain injury. Are you getting this down over there? Manny Ruiz is a little man who is all talk and no action --

[Judge pounds gavel]

Judge: Ms. McCall, I order you to stop.

Sam: Who couldn't finish what he started.

[Judge pounds gavel]

[Gallery murmurs]

Nikolas: Courtney was right about one thing. I was watching you at the Metro Court. I was worried about you being with Sonny, and I still am.

Emily: You don't need to be.

Nikolas: She -- she thought it was jealousy, but it wasn't, ok? I just want you to be happy, and you won't be with Sonny, ok?

Emily: Thanks for your concern, Nikolas, but it's my life, not yours, ok?

Nikolas: Hey, listen to me. You get involved with him; he will break your heart.

Emily: Nikolas, I had no idea what you saw in Courtney, but I kept my mouth shut because it was none of my business.

Nikolas: Don't -- don't compare Courtney with Sonny.

Emily: We're both moving on. We get to make our own decisions.

Nikolas: He's a criminal. Do you know what I --

Emily: He's also a good, kind man.

Nikolas: But he -- Emily, he uses women, ok? That -- that's his pattern. He does it over and over again, and I don't want you to be next in the long line of Sonny's whores.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Skye: You and I need to have a little heart-to-heart.

Lulu: What exactly do you want from me?

[Frank groans]

Sonny: Leave Emily alone.

Emily: Nikolas, please. You're not my husband anymore.

Sam: You are the same twisted pervert you have always been.

Judge: Control your witness.
