Courtney: Thanks for meeting me.
Carly: Oh, of course, of course. I can't stay long because I'm scheduled to testify at the Manny Ruiz trial.
Courtney: Oh, God, that sounds awful.
Carly: Yeah, just as long as the guy gets put away, I don't care. Here's everything -- a plane ticket, car rental, and the realtor will meet you in Charleston and take you to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Courtney: Well, I've never been to South Carolina before.
Carly: You'll love it. The house is right on the beach. There's a really nice hospital nearby. All you have to do is watch the sunrise and talk to that little munchkin in there. Don't even think about the stress of Jax and Nikolas, ok?
Courtney: I'm not sure I can do this.
Georgie: I think we should take him to a hospital. What if he has internal injuries?
Lucas: Georgie, I'm not deaf. I can hear you.
Georgie: Well, how about it, Lucas, because you got beat up pretty badly.
Lucas: I just need to rest. If I can't do that here, then --
Georgie: Lucas, Lucas, aren't doctors required to keep privileges, like a priest or a lawyer?
Lucas: Georgie, my parents are medical professionals. They know everyone in town. If I show up at a clinic or a hospital like this, they're going to ask questions. And they might even call the cops, and then everyone's going to know I got beat up because I'm gay.
[Knock on door]
Maxie: Georgie? Let me in or I'm coming in.
Alexis: How are you feeling?
Manny: Ready to face whatever the court decides.
Ric: Well, Alexis has built a very strong case, Manny. There's every reason to be hopeful.
Sam: You know, it's not too late to do the right thing. Let Manny be punished for what he's done.
Carly: I worked on that all morning, you know. Not that that should sway your judgment, ok? I just think it'd be good for you to get away, good for you and the baby.
Courtney: It's just, you know, leaving Nikolas behind kills me. I love him so much, Carly.
Carly: I know you do.
Courtney: Yeah, but I'll always be, I don't know, concerned whether or not he's still connected to Emily, and I can't go back to Jax. He's just way too possessive.
Carly: I think you're missing the point here. This is not a permanent situation. You just go away to get a little bit of space and peace for you and your little baby. Trust me, I know. I had to go away and I had to get perspective. You know, and now I have my own house, I have my boys, I have a piece of a hotel. I am focused, I am happy, and I have some control in my life, and I had to go to Roselawn to do it. You get to go to the beach.
Courtney: You're right, if I go away, it'll give Nikolas time to figure out what he really wants.
Carly: Would you let Jax and Nikolas figure it out for themselves and you just worry about that beautiful little baby?
Courtney: Yeah, I'll miss -- I'll really miss Nikolas, but if he really loves me, he'll still be here. You're right, leaving is the only thing to do.
Mike: Are you going somewhere?
Maxie: Last chance, Georgie! Open up!
Georgie: Just a minute! Gosh.
Maxie: Thank you. You know, you -- you better be grateful that it is me here and not dad.
Dillon: Hi, Maxie.
Maxie: Oh, no, no, you're toast. I can't believe you actually called mom and dad and announced that you were going to spend the night with Dillon. I have been scraping our parents off the ceiling ever since then. I had to convince them to let me come here and tell you that if you don't go home right now, you are grounded.
Georgie: You know, I don't see why I should apologize for spending the night with the man that I love.
Dillon: Hey. Getting a little dramatic, don't you think?
Maxie: Oh --
Lucas: Forget it, guys. Thanks, anyway.
Maxie: Lucas, what happened to you?
Dillon: He got in a fight.
Lucas: Correction -- I got beat up.
Maxie: By who?
Georgie: He didn't know the guy.
Maxie: Wait, I don't understand. Why are you hiding here?
Lucas: Because I don't want anyone to know. I picked the guy up at a bar, Maxie. I don't recommend it.
Maxie: What? What? What are you talking about?
Lucas: What do you think I'm talking about? I'm gay!
Alexis: It's my job to defend Manny Ruiz, and the prosecution has a job, too. If they're not doing it, that's not my responsibility.
Sam: Come on, Alexis, you can't tell me that Manny is innocent.
Alexis: I can tell you that from a legal standpoint, he's not guilty. There is precedent for an acquittal. Where's Jason, by the way?
Sam: Whoa, what do you mean, "Where's Jason?"
Alexis: He's subpoenaed. He needs to be here whether he likes it or not.
Sam: Ok, well, he'll be here.
Ric: Look, if Jason is called to testify and he's not here, he can be arrested.
Sam: What, Ric, is this your idea of justice -- arrest the innocent, free the guilty?
Ric: Try to keep an open mind, Sam, ok? You may find that the expert witnesses can prove that Manny has changed.
Robin: Take a stand, Patrick. I mean, your testimony could actually keep Manny from being convicted.
Patrick: The only thing I care about is that I didn't lose him on the table.
Lorenzo: Skye. Are you a witness, too?
Skye: Oh. No, I just thought maybe you could use a friend. We are still friends, aren't we?
Lorenzo: Well, I hope we always will be.
Skye: Well, I know you have to get up on that stand and talk about your dealings with the Ruiz clan and, well, the Corinthos camp hates you and Durant’s not an ally, so I thought it might be nice for you to look out into the crowd and see a supportive face.
Lorenzo: And a beautiful face it is.
John: Well, well, well, well. If it isn't the poster child for bleeding-heart liberals.
Alexis: If that's how you categorize upholding the law, then I wear the title proudly.
John: You know, all your sermonizing about mens rea and requisite intent will not change the horror of your client's crimes. Alexis, cut a deal for him right now, because in about 30 seconds this judge is going to walk in the room, the train's going to leave the station, and you and your career are going to go down in flames.
Ric: Are you running for mayor, John?
Alexis: Not after I finish trying this case.
Sam: This isn't a contest. If you don't win, Alexis does, a madman goes free.
Bailiff: Court will come to order, the honorable Judge Dennis Bryant presiding. All rise.
Maxie: Why not tell me you were gay before now? Because keeping it a secret is like saying you think being gay is wrong, and it's not wrong, Lucas.
Lucas: Tell that to my parents.
Maxie: You've been so distant since school started and I couldn't figure out why.
Lucas: Well, now you know.
Maxie: The creep who did this to you -- he is the one who should be ashamed. He committed a crime, Lucas. You have to tell the police.
Dillon: Maxie, save your breath.
Lucas: I can't file a police report. Everyone's going to know I'm gay.
Maxie: But we know. Isn't that enough?
Lucas: I choose to tell a few of my close friends I trust. I'm not ready to live as an openly gay man, especially after last night. I'm sure as hell not ready to deal with my -- my parents.
Maxie: Your parents and everyone else who loves you would want you to be happy.
Georgie: Maxie, he has the right to deal with this however he chooses.
Maxie: Ok, great, so the creep who did this to you is just going to get away with it.
Lucas: Actually, I'd like to beat his head in.
Dillon: And I would drive you right there to do it if you were in any shape. You're not.
Georgie: Which is why Lucas needs to get some rest and we just need to be here to make sure he doesn't get any worse, which is why you need to cover with mom and dad. I don't care what kind of punishment they give me, just please don't tell them.
Maxie: Lucas, I'm really sorry you had to go through this. And I'm sorry you didn't feel like you could tell me.
Lucas: It's not about you, Maxie. I just -- I need to deal with this in my own way.
Maxie: I love you, Lucas.
Emily: "One homemade birthday dinner, you pick the night." Aw, that's so sweet, Elizabeth. Thank you so much. I can't wait.
Elizabeth: You're welcome. I just wish I could get you a real present.
Emily: Yeah, this is a real present. I love your cooking.
Elizabeth: Well, at least it's better than it used to be, right? Look at this watch. Let me see. It's beautiful. Your mom and dad?
Emily: Uh -- no, Sonny.
Elizabeth: How'd that happen?
Emily: He gave it to me yesterday. You must have missed it.
Elizabeth: I'm sorry. I was just so shocked that Sonny was actually taking you out on a date. What happened to him not returning your feelings?
Emily: Well, he was trying to protect me. But when I confronted him about my feelings, then he said that he -- he feels the same way.
Elizabeth: Are you sure you're not hearing what you want to hear?
Emily: Not after the way he kissed me. Elizabeth, it was amazing. I mean, when Sonny kissed me, I -- I melted. You know, he fed me cake and champagne and we danced and --
Emily: Yeah, it was better than I ever imagined, even when --
Emily: I only want to remember the good parts, so --
Elizabeth: What, what? Tell me, what happened?
Emily: Nikolas was there with Courtney and it was so distracting, Elizabeth. He kept staring at us, and Courtney finally ran out and all I could do was just try not to ruin the evening.
Elizabeth: Hmm. So you and Nikolas couldn't ignore each other. What do you suppose that means?
Lorenzo: Everyone who reads the newspaper has heard of the Ruiz family.
Alexis: What were your personal dealings with my client's family?
Lorenzo: We had a minor association, which I elected to terminate.
Alexis: Why was that?
Lorenzo: Negotiations fell apart. They had their own agenda and I suspected it wouldn't serve me well.
Alexis: So it wasn't because you believed that Manny Ruiz was a violent, angry, and out-of-control man?
Lorenzo: I was dealing with someone else in the family.
Alexis: Are you saying that the mob war that broke out between the Ruiz family and the Corinthos organization had nothing to do with you?
Lorenzo: The bad blood was started when Jason Morgan shot Manny Ruiz.
Alexis: Did you witness the shooting?
Lorenzo: It was common knowledge. Morgan is the enforcer for the Corinthos organization. When he shot Manny, he provoked an all-out war. I stayed out of it.
John: You and Jason Morgan have a contentious relationship, isn't that true?
Lorenzo: I don't know Jason Morgan very well, but everyone knows his reputation.
John: Oh, and what is his reputation?
Lorenzo: He's a killer. Perhaps the Ruiz family acted out of self-defense.
Judge: You may step down, Mr. Alcazar.
Carly: Lorenzo? You bastard. Every word you said on that stand was a lie. Jason never had anything to do with Manny.
Lorenzo: I owe Jason nothing. What happened in there was business.
Carly: You just can't stand that I have a connection with Jason that I never had with you and I never will.
Skye: You know, this really isn't the time or place to do this.
Carly: You just wanted to be my hero, didn't you, Lorenzo? You thought, "Hey, I'll swoop in and I'll rescue her from her dysfunctional life with Sonny." It was just another way for you to own me.
Lorenzo: Are you finished?
Carly: No. A real hero saves you no matter what kind of trouble you're in and a real hero doesn't ask for anything in return. He takes care of you because you matter, with no conditions. Jason's my hero. Jason stood by me even after I betrayed him. And that's love and you know it, and that's why you tried to hurt him on the stand. Because you know what I have with Jason is pure and real, not this self-serving obsession you call love.
Skye: It's something particularly heartbreaking when your illusions get shattered. But when you brush away the debris, you can finally see the truth.
Courtney's voice: "I promise I'll take care of myself and our baby. And after I've given birth, I'll come back to Port Charles. I've given you my word I'll never keep you from our child, but you most promise not to try and find me. I need this time on my own."
[Knock on door]
Jax: Hey. We need to talk.
Emily: Please don't do this, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: I'm just saying that you and Nikolas can't seem to get over each other. That must mean something.
Emily: He's engaged, Elizabeth. He asked Courtney to marry him.
Elizabeth: Are you ok with this?
Emily: Yes! But obviously I have to prove it to everyone else. I mean, even Sonny's worried that I still have feelings for Nikolas. It's crazy. When I'm with Sonny, it's amazing. Elizabeth, when the phone rings, I just want to hear his voice on the other end. We had a great time last night. He makes me feel special.
Elizabeth: You are special.
Emily: This is supposed to be the fun part of falling in love, right? Everybody's so intent on pushing me back to Nikolas or convincing me that Sonny's all wrong. Come on, you know, just let me be happy.
Elizabeth: Ok. God, I'm sorry. It's just -- all right, it's coming from a selfish place. I'm afraid if you're with Sonny, I'm never going to get to see you.
Emily: That's ridiculous.
Elizabeth: Oh, come on, Emily, could you imagine Sonny coming with you for your birthday dinner or Sonny and Lucky ordering a pizza, hanging out, watching a game together? I mean, we love you, but I think Lucky would rather have dental work than sit and hang out with Sonny. I mean, it's bad enough we have to be nice to Courtney.
Emily: Elizabeth, you're my best friend, ok? I'm always, always going to be there for you no matter who I'm with. What are you talking about?
Nurse: Excuse me. I have a message for you, Em.
Emily: Yeah, ok. Thanks. Oh, great. What does Courtney want now?
Jesse: Hey. What's wrong?
Maxie: I need your help, but you're not allowed to say one word.
Jesse: What'd you do now, Maxie?
Maxie: No, nothing. I didn't do anything, I swear, except I'm about to betray a confidence.
Jesse: Well, maybe you shouldn’t.
Maxie: No, I need to because if I don't do anything, then somebody really horrible is going to be free to hurt other people. One of my friends was beat up for no reason other than he's gay.
Jesse: Ok. Have him meet us at the P.D.
Maxie: Jesse, he won’t. He's not out of the closet. He doesn't want his parents to know, or anyone else for that matter. I mean, it's crazy. The world has changed, you know, people are accepting all different kinds of lifestyles.
Jesse: It depends. Obviously, someone didn't like his.
Maxie: Well, anybody who would beat up on somebody else just because they're gay? That's twisted, and this creep is still out there. He's going to do it again. You know he will.
Jesse: Well, what do you want me to do, Maxie?
Maxie: I want you to be my boyfriend, not a cop.
Jesse: All right. Introduce me to him. I'll see what I can do.
Maxie: You already know him. It's Lucas.
Alexis: Was the surgery risky?
Patrick: Anytime you cut into someone's brain, it's risky. In less capable hands, it might have killed him.
Alexis: Did you expect Mr. Ruiz's post-op behavior to change so dramatically?
John: Objection. A behavior change hasn't been established.
Alexis: The purpose of this expert witness is to establish just that fact.
Judge: Then let him establish it, counselor.
Alexis: Thank you. Was the behavior of my client radically altered as a result of the surgery you performed?
Patrick: I wouldn't know. I never knew him before the surgery.
Alexis: How would you describe his behavior, his personality since the operation?
Patrick: He's alive. He's functional. That's all I'm qualified to comment on.
Ric: Dr. Drake, how many times have you performed this procedure?
Patrick: I'd say 10 times.
Ric: And with any of those patients, did you notice a personality shift?
Patrick: Couldn't say.
Ric: Ok, doctor, in your expert opinion, could you say if such a personality shift is possible?
Patrick: It's possible.
Ric: Thank you. No further questions.
Alexis: Your honor, the defense calls Robin Scorpio. Are you acquainted with Jason Morgan?
Robin: Yes, I am.
Alexis: How well do you know Jason Morgan?
Robin: I used to be in love with him.
Jax: Look, I'm sorry about last night.
Courtney: Jax, you didn't do anything.
Jax: I know, that's exactly it -- I did nothing. I mean, I should be more sensitive to what you're going through. You keep asking me for more time and more space, but to be honest with you, I'm afraid that if I give you more space, then I'll lose you completely.
Courtney: Please, Jax, this isn't helping anything.
Jax: I know. I'm sorry. I promise I'll try to handle things better.
Courtney: Hey. I don't blame you. Ok? I -- I have done enough wrong for all of us, believe me.
Jax: So you forgive me?
Courtney: Of course I forgive you. But I just hope that you can forgive me, too. Look, I want you to know that whatever I do, it's always in the best interests of our child.
Jax: I know that, absolutely. I mean, I trust you completely when it comes to that.
[Knock on door]
Courtney: If you'll excuse me, there's something that I need to do.
Jax: Sure. Absolutely.
Jax: Emily. You know what, we can just -- we'll talk about it later.
Jax: Ok. See you.
Emily: I'm here. What did you want?
Courtney: I want you to know that I'm leaving. So now you and Nikolas can be together.
Nikolas: Hey, is Emily working today?
Elizabeth: You just missed her. I heard there were big doings at the Metro Court last night.
Elizabeth: Is that what's got you looking so worried?
Nikolas: Well, let's see, where can I start? Courtney and I are fighting and I drove Emily right into Sonny's arms. There you go.
Elizabeth: Is it the idea of Emily with Sonny that bothers you or is it Emily with anyone?
Nikolas: If it were someone that I respected, Liz, yeah, it would still be strange, it would, but I'd wish her well. Sonny's different. He's a different story. You know, he's bad news on every level, and I couldn't stand it if Emily became another casualty of his.
Elizabeth: She's getting an earful of that from everyone.
Nikolas: Yeah, I know. She told me not too gently to mind my own business.
Elizabeth: Oh, honey, I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. The truth is Emily cares for Sonny, a lot. And unfortunately, you're not in a position to do anything about it.
Georgie: I'm sorry.
Lucas: I'm sorry if I got you grounded for the rest of your life.
Georgie: Oh, I'll be 18 soon. I'll be a free woman. And really, it has nothing to do with you. It has to do with me having sex with Dillon and my dad being mad about it. So don't worry about it.
Lucas: Was I supposed to follow all that?
Dillon: Well, we're in love. We're using protection. What does he expect?
Georgie: Ok, Ironman, why don't you go over to my house right now and say that to Mac? I'm sure he'll be just as receptive.
Dillon: Hey, hey, hey.
Georgie: Lucas, I'm sorry.
[Knock on door]
Maxie: Guys, it's me again.
Dillon: And company.
Lucas: Maxie, damn it!
Maxie: No, I'm really sorry, but Jesse’s here to help you.
Dillon: You had no right to tell him.
Jesse: Look, I'm not here as a cop, I'm here as a friend. I want to track down the guy that did this to you.
Lucas: I'm not going to testify.
Jesse: You don't have to. Just tell me where it went down and how you met.
Georgie: They met at Jake’s. He said his name was Frank. He was coming on to Lucas all night. I witnessed it. I was there.
Lucas: I flirted back. When he asked me for some pizza, I thought he was -- it doesn't matter!
Jesse: All right, where'd he attack you?
Lucas: The park. He had a pipe. I was surprised. I couldn't defend myself. I hate this!
Dillon: Lucas, Lucas, you -- just sit. Why don't you let Jesse help you?
Lucas: I've always fought my own battles my whole life. And then suddenly, I tell people I'm gay and I have to be protected.
Georgie: How are you going to go about doing this?
Jesse: I'm going to go undercover and let the guy pick me up. First, I'm going to rearrange his thinking, then I'm going to bust him.
Maxie: Wait, that sounds really dangerous.
Jesse: It's ok.
Lucas: Right. Because Jesse’s the cop and I'm just the queer.
Jesse: No. You were taken by surprise. I'm just going to be ready for the guy.
Lucas: Leave it alone.
Jesse: No, I can’t. If this guy isn't stopped, next time he could kill someone.
Lorenzo: My divorce from Carly is final. We've been over for some time now.
Skye: Yeah, well, knowing that in your head and knowing that in your heart aren't exactly the same thing. There comes that painful moment when you realize the person you love's never really going to love you exactly the same way.
Lorenzo: Think we're destined to love the wrong people?
Skye: The question is, can we stop ourselves, knowing what I know about Luke and knowing what you know about Carly? I, for one, have decided to stop spending the rest of my life in misery.
Lorenzo: That sounds good to me.
Skye: You know, Lorenzo, you were a really good friend to me when I learned the truth about Luke. I'm offering to return the favor.
Lorenzo: Can I buy you lunch?
Skye: I'd love that.
Lorenzo: Let's go.
Robin: I had limited contact with Manny Ruiz before the surgery, so I was able to witness a profound change in his behavior.
Alexis: Could you elaborate on that change?
Robin: Manny Ruiz is no longer hostile or threatening. In my opinion, since the A.V. malformation has been corrected, Manny Ruiz is no longer a threat to society.
Alexis: Have you ever witnessed a similar case where a patient manifested a profound change as a result of a brain trauma?
Robin: Yes, in Jason Quartermaine, which is -- he's now known as Jason Morgan. Jason was an honor student, kind, gentle, loving. The first symptoms were an inability to connect on an emotional level. Jason was angry, defiant, rebellious. He wasn't at all like the Jason everyone had known. I mean, he was easy to anger, became a danger junkie. He was just a very different person.
Alexis: The defense calls Jason Morgan.
Judge: Miss Davis, where is your witness?
Alexis: Your honor, Mr. Morgan has been subpoenaed and we're requesting the court to issue a warrant for his arrest.
Carly: That's insane.
Sam: You can't do this!
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Order. Order.
Emily: You're unbelievable. Courtney, you tear our lives apart and then you bail? Where do you think you can go?
Courtney: Carly found me someplace quiet where I can have my baby in peace.
Emily: Wow, you are some kind of coward.
Courtney: Ok, look, I love Nikolas more than you know, but I am willing to give him up because he is still in love with you.
Emily: Nikolas is struggling to do what's right. Courtney, he's conflicted, but you can't be bothered to love him through it.
Courtney: Yeah, I can't make him stay with me if he wants to be somewhere else. I wouldn't do that to him.
Emily: No. In other words, it turns out that you're not the permanent center of his universe. Deal with it.
Courtney: I shouldn't have asked you to come here.
Emily: Yeah, you know, probably not, Courtney, because all you're going to get from me is a big, fat dose of the truth. You shredded Nikolas and Jax’s lives, to say nothing of mine. That damage is done now, thanks to you. You can't fix it now by running. You're going to break Nikolas' heart, Courtney. You're going to do to him what you've done to every other man that you've been with.
Courtney: Ok, fine, I am evil. It is all my fault. I deceived Nikolas, I -- I used him and I dumped him, so why don't you save him and take him back?
Emily: Oh, whatever. You know, don't kid yourself that you're doing the right thing now here, Courtney. Nikolas has become inconvenient and you can't be bothered to work on the relationship. You just want to, what, give up and run? Wow, you know, it is too bad that Nikolas got involved with a self-centered witch like you, but it's not my problem. I have my own life to live now, separate from Nikolas' so, you know what, take your noble sacrifice and shove it.
Georgie: Oh, thank you.
Lucas: Thanks. So how long until someone realizes there's a trespasser in one of the guestrooms?
Dillon: Years. Trust me, don't worry about it. Stay as long as you want.
Lucas: Yeah, well, I think I'll just stay until I don't look like I got ran over by a bus.
Georgie: You know, Lucas, I was thinking. The longer you don't tell people that you're gay, I think the harder it's going to be to come out.
Lucas: You know, I love you, Georgie, but you have no clue what I'm going through.
Georgie: I know, but -- but I see the way people love you, and Maxie didn't even bat an eye when you told her.
Lucas: She's like my sister. What's she going to say?
Dillon: Well, Jesse was cool.
Georgie: You don't think your parents love you enough to accept you?
Lucas: My parents love the idea of me. My mom's always trying to set me up with one of her friends' daughters, my dad can't wait to be a grandfather and, I mean, that's bags of expectations.
Dillon: Lucas, we all let our parents down at some point or another.
Lucas: B.J.'s dead. Carly's impossible. I am supposed to be the normal one. I can't handle that disappointment.
Georgie: Lucas, you don't give them enough credit.
Lucas: I'm going to do this my way. And I'm going to go on with my life on my terms.
Jesse: Thank you, babe.
Maxie: Thank you. Wow. You look hot. I want to go.
Jesse: Well, that defeats the purpose. I got to get this guy to come on to me. How can I do that with my girlfriend?
Maxie: He won't know.
Jesse: I got to look lonely.
Maxie: I really want to help, though.
Jesse: You did when you came and you told me. Now it's my turn. Let me handle it. Ok?
Carly: Alexis is just trying to get Jason in trouble!
Sam: Shouldn't Jason be able to be here himself so he can defend himself?
Judge: Order, order. Everyone calm down. Take your seats or I'll clear the court. Who are you?
Sam: Your honor, my name is Miss Samantha McCall. I'm -- I'm Jason Morgan’s fiancée.
Judge: Ms. McCall, where's your fiancé?
Sam: Jason was under the impression that jury selection was in progress and court wouldn't start until Monday.
Alexis: The subpoena clearly indicated today's date.
Sam: Ms. Davis intentionally pushed for the trial to be moved up for the very purpose of Jason getting in trouble with the court.
Alexis: Jason Morgan is a witness for the defense. Why would I want him in jail?
Carly: Gee, I can answer that question for you.
Judge: I've heard enough. Now, there's margin for error. You have until 6:00 to produce Mr. Morgan. If he is not here, a warrant will be issued for his arrest. Now, court is recessed.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: We'll continue in an hour with your witnesses.
Sam: Sonny sent him out of town.
Carly: All right, well, I'll find Sonny and make him bring him back.
Sam: Well, what if it's too late? I don't even know where he went.
Carly: Sam, I will take care of this.
Alexis: This isn't something for you to worry about, Manny.
Ric: This technicality could prove to be beneficial for us.
Patrick: You stuck your neck out for a patient.
Robin: Is this where you tell me how wrong I am?
Patrick: You have the courage of your convictions, and some people might find that worthwhile.
Robin: But not you?
Patrick: You never know.
Ric: Jason made a critical error not showing up.
Alexis: It was a nice cross on Patrick.
Ric: Thank you.
Alexis: I think we make a very nice team.
Ric: Well, could say the same for you. I just hope we're not making a terrible mistake.
Officer: We'll come and get you when we're ready.
Manny: I'm not going anywhere.
Sam: You know, Alexis is wrong. You're not going free, ever. Hmm. Yeah. And I'll see to it personally.
Courtney: You know, I want to do what's right here, Nikolas. I'm just not sure what that is.
Nikolas: Listen -- I'm so sorry that I fought with you. But I swear that you -- that you misread my concern for Emily.
Courtney: I need to ask you something honestly.
Courtney: Are you still in love with Emily?
Nikolas: Yes. But in the same way that you feel love for Jason. I mean, you still worry about him sometimes? You do. See? And I don't think that that means that you want to get back with him. And that's the same way that it is with me and Emily. I love you. And I want to marry you. Why is that so hard for you to accept?
Jax: Courtney? Courtney, it's Jax. Courtney? Hello! Hello?
Courtney's voice: "Dear Jax, please don't be angry, but I'm leaving town for a little while, without you or Nikolas. I promise I'll take care of myself and our baby. And after I've given birth, I'll come back to Port Charles. I've given you my word I'll never keep you from our child, but you must promise not to try and find me. I need this time on my own."
Courtney's voice: "Dear Nikolas, by the time you get this, I'll already be gone, away from Port Charles and out of your life. I'm going to have the baby on my own and I don't want you to follow me."
Carly: You can wait your turn, Emily. I'm here to see Sonny, and what I have to talk to him about is a hell of a lot more important than anything you'd have to say.
Emily: Shouldn't you be helping Courtney pack or something, make sure she doesn't miss her plane?
Carly: Courtney happens to be my friend, and I'm more than happy to help her out, thank you.
Emily: You think with Courtney gone, I'm going to go rushing back to Nikolas? Well, sorry to blow your plans, but it's not going to happen.
Carly: Well, here's a news flash, Emily -- you and Sonny aren't going to happen, either.
Sam: I know that you are a liar and a freak, and I know the monster is in there. Where is he, Manny? Where are you hiding him? This game you're playing -- it's not going to work. You're going to spend the rest of your life in prison and the only time you're going to leave is when they bury you, and that cannot be soon enough for me. You are pathetic. Do you know that? How does it feel? How does it feel to be the helpless one now? You have no say, no control. Your fate is in my hands. Huh? How do you like that?
Manny: You want me? You got it. I'm the one who has you -- finally.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Nikolas: I love you.
Courtney: What if I don't love you?
Nikolas: What do you mean?
Sonny: You don't get to barge in here and harass Emily whenever you feel like venting!
Emily: I know what I really want.
Manny: See, now, Sweetness, you're going to get to know me a whole lot better.
