Tracy: Luke? Thank God. Mmm. Oh, my -- God! What are you doing? You could have killed me!

Alice: Sorry. I missed.

Luke: Rats.

Tracy: What?

Luke: Rats. We have a nasty infestation. But don't worry, love of my wife. I know just how to deal with vermin.

Sonny: What can I do for you, detective?

Det. Rodriguez: Following up on an incident that happened at Jakeís last night.

Sonny: I wasn't there.

Det. Rodriguez: I'm aware of that.

Sonny: Then what do you want from me?

Det. Rodriguez: Do you know a Buzz Ordwell?

Sonny: Buzz -- no. Doesn't even ring a bell.

Det. Rodriguez: Hmm.

Sonny: Uh-uh.

Det. Rodriguez: Well, he knows you. Well enough to threaten you with great bodily harm or worse.

Sonny: I don't know anything about it.

Det. Rodriguez: Then you haven't spoken to Ms. Quartermaine?

Sonny: Emily? What does she have to do with it?

Det. Rodriguez: Ordwell made the threats to Emily when he accosted her.

Robin: Outside of five-star hotel lobbies, I think that's the biggest floral arrangement I've ever seen.

Patrick: Yeah, somebody is definitely trying to impress Emily.

Robin: Jealous?

Nikolas: Hey. Um -- I just -- I want to thank you for accepting my apology back there. I acted like a jerk.

Emily: Mm-hmm. As long as you don't make a habit of it.

Nikolas: Nice flowers.

Emily: Yeah. I think so.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: So -- well, duty beckons.

Nikolas: Sonny?

Courtney: Of course, of course. Here I've been agonizing for months. You know, caught between my love for Nikolas and being pregnant with Jaxís child, and you come up with a solution inside of five minutes.

Carly: I don't know why you didn't ask me sooner. You know I'm an expert at handling men.

Courtney: Yeah. Ok, all right, I sit at your feet, o wise one. Shine the light of your superior knowledge -

Carly: Wow.

Courtney: Please.

Carly: Get yourself far away from both of them as soon as possible.

Sam: You evil, vindictive bitch.

Alexis: Sam, you need to control yourself.

Sam: No, don't tell me to control myself. You got Jason arrested!

Alexis: That's what happens when someone attempts to kill someone. He's where he needs to be.

Ric: Well, I hope that was worth it. I want Sam arrested right now.

John: Well, that should make for a cozy little night. You, Manny, Jason, all in a row.

Jason: Back off, Durant.

Ric: Look, Alexis is an officer of the court. She was assaulted in front of witnesses. I want her arrested. I want her arrested or I'll --

John: Hey, don't get testy. All right, you're under arrest.

Alexis: No, I don't want anybody to do anything --

Ric: I do.

Alexis: No. It's not up to you. I'm -- if you get her arrested, I'm going to have her bailed out.

Ric: Why are you doing this?

Sam: Why? If you don't know, I certainly do. It's not going to work. You might as well arrest me.

Tracy: There are no rats in this house, at least of the four-legged variety. Put that thing away. Put it away!

Alice: Well, Mr. Luke gave me a job to do, and I'm being vigilant.

Tracy: Look, even if there were nasty little rodents running around, did you really intend to -- to blast them to smithereens with a shotgun in the living room?

Luke: She has a point. At ease, soldier. We'll have to come up with a more subtle approach.

Tracy: You know what? I'm not going to be party to this insanity!

Alice: So what's the plan, boss?

Luke: Well, the key is the queen. We eliminate her and the rest of them will just scatter to the wind.

Tracy: Did you say "queen"?

Luke: Yes, I did. As in rodent queen.

Tracy: There's no such thing!

Luke: Sure there is. You obviously are not well-versed in rodents, my dear. The rodent queen rules with an iron -- paw. Paw? Is that -- well, whatever. She's vicious, she's ruthless. She eats her young. She's very much like you, love. So we got two choices. Either we go with the direct, obviously more messy approach -- shotgun blast to the head -- or we take the slow, poison death to the queen.

Alice: I like it slow.

Luke: I know you do, baby. Poison it shall be.

Tracy: Too bad you don't have any.

Luke: I can get more! So, conspirators, how'd I do?

Dillon: Oh, that was brilliant. That was great.

Skye: Tracy was so terrified.

Georgie: I don't think I've ever seen her like that.

Dillon: You know, I didn't know my mom was capable of fear.

Luke: Daughter?

Lulu: Yeah, I don't know. I mean, yeah, Tracy was scared, but for how long? I mean, she's not stupid. Is she really going to believe that you're trying to kill her?

Luke: Yeah she is, if I can count on all of you to help.

Det. Rodriguez: According to Officer Spencer, Emily and the -- Dr. Patrick Drake were at Jakeís.

Sonny: Together?

Det. Rodriguez: That's my understanding. Buzz was at the bar, good and inebriated, berating you and your people, Jason Morgan specifically. Coleman pointed out that Morganís sister was in the room. That's when Buzz approached her.

Sonny: Was Emily hurt?

Det. Rodriguez: Actually, Buzz got the raw end of the deal. Ms. Quartermaine whacked him over the head with a pool cue.

Sonny: Wow. So what about Emily?

Det. Rodriguez: A room full of witnesses tagged it self-defense

Sonny: All right.

Det. Rodriguez: But Commissioner Scorpio --

Sonny: Uh-huh?

Det. Rodriguez: He's a little concerned about another outbreak of mob violence. So we'd like to know the nature of your history with Mr. Buzz Ordwell.

Sonny: Well, I wouldn't know the guy if I tripped over him. But I appreciate your concern. So you can go ahead and tell the commissioner that his fears are understandable, but unfounded. Adios.

Det. Rodriguez: Hmm.

Sonny: Max? Get the car. Now.

Max: Right away.

Patrick: Jealous? Me?

Robin: That's who I asked.

Patrick: Well, you're obviously unclear on the concept. I make other guys jealous, I don't feel it myself.

Robin: Hmm. Then why were you so interested in who sent the flowers to Emily?

Patrick: Curiosity. A desire to know the playing field.

Robin: Those flowers just scream challenge to you, don't they? Now you're going to go after Emily with a vengeance. And you know what? I would most feel sorry for her. But I have a feeling that you're the one people are going to feel sorry for.

Patrick: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Godfather of Port Charles and his loyal soldier, Jason. Why do you care?

Robin: I donít.

Patrick: Then why are you so concerned about whose cages I rattle? Unless of course you want to keep me intact for yourself.

Robin: Do what you want. It's your funeral.

Nikolas: I've got to hand it to Sonny. His taste is certainly extravagant.

Emily: You know, Sonny thinks big on a normal day. Nikolas, I saved Michael from drowning. This is his way of saying thanks.

Nikolas: Oh. You believe that?

Emily: What are you getting at?

Nikolas: Oh, I just -- it seems like a mixed message to me. I mean, you move out of his house, and now he sends you big, romantic bouquets?

Emily: Since clearly you're fishing, let me save you some time. Sonny and I are friends, nothing more. That's how he wants it.

Carly: You're having a baby. An experience you never thought you'd ever have in a million years. And instead of being able to savor the wonder and the joy, you're stuck in the middle of having to play referee between two grown men who insist on fighting over you like two teenage boys. You need to lose the stress and the anxiety, and hold on to the wonder and the joy.

Courtney: Do you really think that I could do that? Just go away?

Carly: Why not? Why not? You're over 21. You're certainly allowed to have your baby in peace, and I can make it happen for you. Pick any location in the whole world. You just pick it. You can -- you can sit on a beach watching the golden sunset and listening to the surf as you fall asleep. A mountain cabin. The location doesn't really matter. As long as you concentrate on bringing this precious life into the world, instead of feeling like a wishbone being pulled apart by two men who really need to figure out their raging hormones.

Courtney: It would solve a lot of problems.

Carly: Yes! Of course it would. Let's make it happen.

Courtney: Oh, I'm tempted.

Carly: Great! I can do this for you.

Courtney: What would I tell people?

Carly: Who cares? I'll be your middle woman.

Courtney: No, wait. I -- I can't do it.

Ric: Just --

Sam: You want me to owe you so I will convince Jason to testify your way at Manny's trial. Forget it. Lock me up and throw away the key.

John: Hey, we can do that.

Jason: No, no, no, no. Hold on.

John: Ok, great, now that we've heard from the peanut gallery -- would you like to spend the night next to your boyfriend, or should we put Manny in the middle?

Alexis: You know what? Stop it, all right? I want to talk to her by myself.

John: At least let me cuff her.

Alexis: Leave her alone. She's not going to attack me.

John: I'm going to remind you that you said that.

Ric: Are you sure about this?

Alexis: Yes.

Ric: All right. I'm not going far.

Alexis: I'm trying to help you now, and I would like it if you could put your animosity aside long enough to hear what I'm saying.

Sam: Oh, I think this is a mistake already.

Alexis: I'm not unsympathetic to you, Sam. I know that you've had a hard life, and I know that you've been knocked around, mostly by men. And you've been used. I know you've been abandoned. And I know that you think you've found the Holy Grail in Jason. But you havenít. It may in fact be the worst thing that's ever happened to you. Jason has dumped you right smack in the middle of a very violent life. The only reason you were around Manny in the first place was because of Jason and nothing is going to change, just the names, just the faces, and Manny will be replaced with another thug. Jason's choices will continue to threaten you as long as you stay with him.

Sam: I am safer with Jason than I have ever been with anyone in my entire life. And you have absolutely no room to criticize after you went and got yourself knocked up by a mobster.

Alexis: And I have spent every day worrying about protecting her. I'm sure you would have done the same thing in my position.

Sam: What, you mean lie and do whatever I can to keep her away from her father?

Alexis: I mean do what any mother would do to protect her child.

Luke: Make sure the queen doesn't scurry in unnoticed.

Alice: Don't worry. I'll head her off.

Luke: I know you will, sweet cheeks. Ok, people, suggestions, comments?

Skye: How long do you think it will take for us to accomplish our goal?

Luke: Well, it's hard to tell. First we have to make sure that she really believes I'm serious about knocking her off.

Georgie: Ok, I have a concern.

Luke: Speak.

Georgie: Tracy's a witch, I agree with that, but she's also Dillonís mother. Is it really right to make her think her life is in danger?

Lulu and Dillon: Yes.

Skye: Yes.

Alice: Yes.

Luke: Sounds like --

Georgie: Ok, just asking.

Luke: Sounds like you need a refresher course. Let's call this Tracy is -- standing in the way of true love out of pure spite.

Lulu: Blackmailing me to spy on my own father.

Dillon: Threatening to keep me out of college unless I police her around.

Alice: Forcing me to ignore poor Mr. Luke's needs and treating me like a servant.

Skye: And you have your own list of charges. How about all those terrible things Tracy did to keep you and Dillon apart?

Luke: And beyond all that, she holds all the cards. She's got that big ax hanging over every one of our heads. You think life around here is a third ring of hell now? You ain't seen nothing yet. Unless we get her under control, she'll have us all peeling her grapes.

Skye: Tracy should thank her lucky stars no one's out to kill her for real.

Alice: You're right about that, Ms. Skye.

Elizabeth: Oh. Oh, ho. All right, pay up.

Lucky: I'm kind of low on cash.

Elizabeth: You knew that when we made this bet, didn't you?

Lucky: I was kind of hoping we could work something out.

Elizabeth: Oh, really? What'd you have in mind? Hmm.

Lucky: How do you feel about double or nothing?

Elizabeth: Oh, feeling reckless, are we? Well, you'd better be careful, because I just might beat the -

Coleman: Mr. C. What can I get you, man?

Sonny: Emily Quartermaine was attacked here last night. Why didn't you stop it?

Coleman: I tried to stop it.

Sonny: Emily is under my protection from now on. Do you understand what that means?

Coleman: Well, it means she's a lucky lady.

Sonny: A charmed life. That's what I want -- even when she has lapse of judgment and walks into this place. Do we understand each other?

Coleman: Yeah, I read you. Loud and clear, man.

Sonny: What happened last night never happens again.

Carly: I thought you liked the idea.

Courtney: Well, I did -- for about five minutes.

Carly: Ok, so the question becomes, which one are you sticking around for?

Courtney: Nikolas. I love him, Carly. And yeah, the last few months would have been a lot easier if I didn't, but there it is.

Carly: Something bigger than both of you, huh?

Courtney: Yeah, something like that.

Carly: Nikolas love you?

Courtney: Yeah, I know he does. I mean, he is still around.

Carly: So, you staying in town has absolutely nothing to do with Jax?

Courtney: Oh, well, I didn't say that. I mean, like, taking off would provoke Jax and he would come after me, try to get custody of the baby, and -- Carly, fighting in court scares me to death. You know, I mean, I've seen how awful it was for Sonny and you, and Sonny and Alexis. And I just -- I don't want my child surrounded by all that anger and bitterness.

Carly: Same old Courtney. Trying to make everybody happy. You know, you're the poster child for kids of addicts. When are you going to start taking care of yourself?

Courtney: I am comfortable with my decision. I'm staying here.

Carly: Ok, fine. Reserve the right to change your mind. Let me know when you do. Just being married to Sonny -- I'm really good at making people disappear. Don't knock it. Comes in handy sometimes.

Sam: You need to stop judging everybody's experiences by your own, because you know absolutely nothing -- and I mean nothing -- about the world that I live in.

Alexis: You're wrong. I do. I know that the crimes don't stop. I know that the violence doesn't stop. And I know that everybody suffers from the anonymous business rival to innocent children who have no voice, who have only their mothers to depend on to keep them safe. Is that what you want? Have you thought about this at all? Because Jason is in this for life. He's not getting out. He's just been arrested for the nine millionth time. Is that the kind of environment that you want your children to come up in?

Jason: Shut up.

Alexis: I suggest you take a step back.

Ric: Don't do something that you're going to regret.

Jason: I'm not. Get her out of here while you can.

Alexis: You're just upset because you know what I've said to you is true.

Jason: Don't talk to Sam about kids after you attacked her when she was pregnant.

Ric: Alexis' fight with Sam had nothing to do with the miscarriage.

Jason: Oh, that's what you'd like to believe, isn't it, Ric?

Alexis: You can turn this around all you want. But the fact remains that your life is violent and it puts everyone around you at risk. I would certainly think twice about having children with that --

Jason: Get -- Ric --

Ric: Ok, all right.

Jason: Get her out of here, now.

Ric: You've made your point. Come on.

Det. Rodriguez: All right, show's over.

Jason: All right. Just give me a minute.

[Doorbell rings]

Luke: I'll get it.

Delivery man: Package for Luke Spencer.

Tracy: Oh, I'm Mrs. Spencer.

Luke: It's not addressed to you, Mrs. Spencer.

Tracy: What is it?

Luke: Nothing.

Tracy: Oh, I want to see what's in the package.

Luke: Go away.

Tracy: What is it? "Dale's Hardware"?

Luke: It's oil. Oil. Oil for my engine.

Tracy: Oh, please, that heap runs on bitterness alone. What's in the package?

Luke: None of your business!

Tracy: You ordered more rat poison. Dillon!

Dillon: Why are you yelling?

Tracy: Call the cops. Luke is planning to murder me.

Coleman: Come on, I wouldn't lie to you, man. I mean, Emily didn't need any help, dude. That girl packs quite a wallop with a pool -- I mean, she had poor, unsuspecting Buzz laid out with one blow and the whole thing was over before it even started.

Sonny: All right.

Coleman: I swear to that. I'm telling you, I wouldn't -- you know I wouldn't let it escalate.

Sonny: I'll take your word for it. But if it happens again, I'm going to hold you accountable.

Coleman: Huh? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Elizabeth: I bet you don't come around here much.

Sonny: I try not to. I just had to speak to Coleman for something. Yeah.

Lucky: I wonder what that could have been about.

Sonny: Well, since you mention it -- what do you know about Patrick Drake?

Elizabeth: I guess that depends on what you want to know.

Sonny: Well, I'm just curious. Is there anything going on between him and Emily?

Ric: Ok, I think we need a new strategy here. Have a seat.

Alexis: Thank you.

Ric: Seeing as how Jason and Sam pretty much think the same way, inviting arguments with Sam might not be the best tactic.

Alexis: I know. You're right. I'm sorry. I tried. I tried to make her see something different than what she sees and it didn't work.

Ric: I know.

Alexis: And I -- that's not going to do it anymore.

Carly: You know what? I am half owner of this hotel. And as half owner, I have the right to refuse service to anyone I choose. And I'm going to exercise that right. I don't want you guys here.

Ric: Oh, come on, Carly.

Alexis: Ok. No, that's all right. Let's go. She probably found out that I had Jason arrested. Let's just leave.

Carly: You did what?

Alexis: I'm sorry, I thought you knew.

Ric: Hey --

Tracy: I caught him red-handed.

Mac: With what? Why am I here?

Tracy: What I told you on the phone. I won't give him a divorce, so he's decided to get one the old-fashioned way -- over my very dead body.

Mac: Well?

Luke: Oh, Mac. My wife and I have a few spats now and then like all couples, but I love my little spanky buns to death! Just an expression, dear.

Tracy: You're about as subtle as a Mack truck. No offense. But everybody knows what you're up to. And I am not about to stand idly by while you put rat poison in my drinks.

Lulu: I can't believe you would accuse my father of something so horrible. You are hateful, Tracy, just hateful.

Dillon: Oh, good, that's -- that's great. Guess who has to go comfort her now, mom -- me. Thanks, thank you.

Mac: Wait a minute. Is there any truth in what your mother's claiming?

Dillon: You want my opinion? I think they're playing one of their weird, kinky little married couple games and although it's sick and gross, not deadly. I'm going to need a feminine touch for this.

Georgie: Yeah. I'm --

Dillon: Whew.

Mac: Skye, well? Anything to add?

Tracy: Oh, please. They're plotting my demise together and that one, too -- she's in on it. She fired a shotgun at me earlier.

Mac: Is that true?

Alice: I was shooting at rats.

Mac: Rats?

Alice: Rats.

Tracy: Ugh, that is so ridiculous. There are no rats in this house. It's just a ruse to justify them buying rat poison, which I confiscated, and then Mr. Gall Master, Luke, went and ordered some more, had it delivered right to the door. I took that one, too. Here, open it.

Luke: Uh -- I'd rather that you didn't open it.

Tracy: Aha! What did I tell you?

Mac: Luke, is there a reason why you don't want me to open this?

Luke: Well, I'd just be more comfortable if you didnít.

Mac: Mm-hmm.  Birdseed?

Tracy: What? That's impossible.

Mac: See for yourself.

Luke: You caught me.

Mac: Doing what exactly?

Luke: Oh, Mac, now, being the kind of mushy spud that I despise. It seems that I've just sort of got a soft spot for some of the little feathered, fine, featured, fluttering bird things that are out in the back and, you know, winter and pickings are slim, and I just thought maybe I'd help them stay fat and healthy till spring.

Mac: Thanks for wasting my time, Tracy. It won't happen again.

Luke: Bye-bye. Really appreciate it if this bird-loving thing didn't get around town.

Skye: Tracy, I always knew how desperate you are for attention, but really -- you've gone too far this time.

Alice: What she said.

Luke: May I have my birdseed, please? Thank you.

Tracy: Dim bulb Mac might have bought your ridiculous story, but I'm onto you, you snake.

Luke: Tracy, you called me a snake. That really hurts my feelings. By the way, snakes eat rats. Don't they?

Ric: What the hell is this -- attack-my-wife day? Here.

Alexis: Honey, just take a deep breath and --.

Ric: Yeah. What, are you rushing to get back to Roselawn, Carly?

Carly: What kind of trumped-up charges did you fabricate against Jason this time, huh, Ric?

Ric: Ah.

Alexis: That's the beauty of it, Carly -- I don't have to trump up anything. I just wait for him to commit the next crime, and in this case, it was -- he attempted to kill Manny Ruiz and we have witnesses.

Carly: Witnesses. You want to compare witnesses? Because I can come up with about a dozen who have firsthand experience of Manny stalking, maiming, and murdering his way through a train. Meanwhile, Jason is risking his life, seizure after seizure, to protect everyone from your psycho client. Oh, let's not forget that Jason just had brain surgery. But what the hell -- let's kick him while he's down. That's the only way you can beat him, right?

Alexis: You aren't by any chance finished, are you?

Carly: No, I'm not. You keep throwing around words like "principle" and "justice." Well, there's none of either in your defense of Manny. All I see is the same tired agenda -- you trying to get back at Sonny and Jason and for what, Alexis? Because they know you for the calculating control freak that you are? Is that it?

Ric: Ok, that's enough, Carly.

Carly: Yes, it is, and like I said, get the hell out of my hotel, now.

Jax: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Carly, Carly?

Carly: What?

Jax: Back off, ok? Alexis is my friend. And believe me, you'd be thrown out of this hotel long before she ever would.

Jason: Alexis gets paid to manipulate the truth into whatever she needs it to be. Don't let her get to you, Sam.

Sam: Ugh. I know, I know. It's just you have no idea how much I hate this. You are on your way to jail, Manny is on his way -- what, home-- and what can I do about this? Nothing.

Jason: I know, I know. I'm going to keep you safe. You can get through this.

Sam: Jason, it's just hard. It's hard sometimes, ok?

Jason: Well, what did Alexis say that I didn't hear? She's --

John: Well, apparently, Justus Ward got Samís call about your arrest. He managed to convince a judge that Detective Beaudryís ear witness information and testimony was not enough to hold you, so you're free to go. Uncuff him.

Sam: Great. We're out of here.

John: Yeah, well, for now. You'll be back. I'm sure we can all agree on that.

Jason: Hey, Sam.

[Door closes]

Jason: You know I love you.

Sam: I love you, too.

Jason: Ok. Now you need to tell me what's wrong.

Sam: It's just that --

Jason: What?

Sam: I want to go home. Come on.

Lucky: I understand your concern. When I heard that Emily was in a bar fight, I was -- well, I was a little worried to say the least, but Emily wasn't hurt.

Elizabeth: Actually, she seemed kind of pumped.

Sonny: Ah. Well, what was Emily doing here?

Elizabeth: It was her first date with Patrick.

Sonny: And he brings her to this dump?

Elizabeth: Well, it was her idea.

Sonny: It was her idea? Well --

Elizabeth: I think she -- she was just following an impulse. You know, she's kind of had a rough time lately, and it's good. It's a good thing she's getting out.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah. Well, the only thing I know about this Patrick Drake is that he saved Jasonís life. What do you -- do you know anything about him?

Lucky: He's pompous, conceited, fancies himself as a player.

Elizabeth: And she seems to like him right now.

Sonny: Well, maybe he's just trying to take advantage of her.

Elizabeth: It was one date.

Sonny: Right. Thanks.

Elizabeth: This isn't good. I think Sonny is falling for Emily, too.

Skye: Hey.

Lulu: Oh. So much for my lookout skills.

Skye: What's going on?

Lulu: Dad's setting up for Tracy. Do you think that this is really going to work?

Skye: Well, I don't know, but it's certainly worth a try. And, by the way, I was very impressed with your performance earlier. It's not that easy to cry on cue.

Lulu: Yeah. I roll with the punches.

Skye: Well, you're your father's kid, all right.

Lulu: You say that like it's a good thing.

Skye: Well, there are worse people to resemble.

Lulu: I always thought I was like my mom.

Skye: Physically. But in spirit, you're all Spencer.

Lulu: You know, I -- I don't get it. Awful people like Tracy always seem to win, and my mom's just -- well --

Alice: Where do you want the martini shaker?

Luke: Uh, right here, darling, next to my wife's glass.

Alice: Ok.

Luke: And now, just enough to look careless. There we go. What's wrong, Alice?

Alice: Look, I really want things to work out for you just the way you want them. But the problem is if that happens, then you're going to leave. I'm going to be here without you and you know, I'm going to miss you because -- because you've brought life into this house and into my heart.

Luke: Oh. Ooh! Oh.

Sam: I'm ok, really. I'm just stressed and I'm tired and -- that's it.

Jason: Do you want to take a walk or go for a ride on the bike?  So Alexis did get to you?

Sam: No.

Jason: No? You've been acting pretty quiet since she talked to you.

Sam: It's not Alexis.

Jason: Ok. I just -- I don't understand.

Sam: You were so mad at Alexis. It just makes me wonder if she was right, if you were that angry because you knew what she told me was the truth.

Carly: I'm part owner in this hotel and I want Alexis out of here.

Jax: Well, I don't really care what you want. Alexis and Ric -- they're my friends. They're always welcome here. I apologize for Carly.

Ric: Get used to that.

Jax: Listen, why don't you guys go upstairs and order whatever you want. It's on the house.

Alexis: Thank you.

Jax: You're skating on thin ice.

Carly: Not as long as you need me, and trust me -- you do.

Alexis: Doesn't matter what I say. Carly and Sam are going to twist it into my getting back at Sonny.

Ric: Yeah, I know. They were both way out of line. It always does come back to being all about Sonny.

Jax: You know, I am so sick of this deal that I've been blackmailed into. I don't need you and I want you out.

Carly: You better be nice to me, because I'm the woman who's going to deliver Courtney and your baby on a silver platter.

Patrick: Excuse me.

Sonny: No, wait, whoa, whoa. You and I need to have a conversation.

Patrick: I can't imagine why. I've got a patient, so --

Sonny: No, it's not going to take long. As a doctor, you know it only takes a second to lose or save a life, right? Huh?

Luke: Thank you, darling.

Alice: Mm-hmm.

Tracy: Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. No more booze for you. It makes you lose control. Alice, where's my martini?

Alice: Where it always is.

Tracy: Ew. You and I are going to have to have a little conversation about your bad attitude.

Tracy: Oh! Oh!

Luke: What's wrong?

Tracy: There's something in my drink! Oh! I knew it! You really are trying to poison me. Now I have proof.

Luke: And the catch of the day takes the bait.

Alice: You know, that may not be all she took. There's something weird in this glass.

Luke: What do you mean?

Alice: You didn't really poison her, did you?

Luke: Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

Tracy? Where is she?

Dillon: She went to the police station.

Luke: Ooh!  Tracy!

[Car departs]

Skye: Luke? What's wrong?

Luke: Too late.

Patrick: All right, if you insist on having this whatever it is, I'd appreciate it if you'd get to the point.

Sonny: Ok. You know something? I'd shake your hand, but I see you got hurt there. I just want to thank you for saving Jasonís life. He's got nice hands. You take good care of them?

Patrick: I try.

Sonny: You ever busted a finger, broken a bone?

Patrick: Never.

Sonny: Yeah, me, either. I hear that it's extremely painful, hand injuries. I also hear that you're dating Emily Quartermaine.

Patrick: We went out, yeah.

Sonny: They went out. Huh. Ok, she's a wonderful woman and I wouldn't want anyone to take advantage of her or, you know, cause her any pain because if that were to happen, I would have to take it personally.

Emily: Sonny? What are you doing?

[Knock on door]

Nikolas: Hi. I'm sorry.

Courtney: I'm sorrier. Mmm. I hate fighting with you.

Nikolas: Me, too. Yeah.

Courtney: Come inside.  You know, when I was talking to Carly, I realized that I -- I have been overcompensating with Jax.

Nikolas: Oh, yeah, I mean, you're afraid that he's going to take your baby away. And you're probably right to worry about that because Jax wants what he wants when he wants it and he wants his wife and his baby, like, yesterday. But I want you more. I'm not going to walk away from you.

Jax: Well, you sound pretty sure of yourself.

Carly: I've already made progress. Courtney trusts me, she's my friend, and I only want what's best for her.

Jax: Right. Altruistic Carly will aim Courtney in my direction for her own benefit.

Carly: Do you want her back or not?

Jax: That's very nice of you.

Carly: Start by backing off, no more poking your nose in her medical records, no more relentless pressure. She's a bundle of nerves when she should be enjoying the experience of her pregnancy, so try being a little more sensitive to that, all right?

Jax: That's very, very good advice. Thank you.

Carly: You're going to be thanking me for a lot more than that when you get your family back, Jax.

Jax: And all this is going to cost me your continued partnership in my hotel.

Carly: I want to stay partners after you and Courtney are back together.

Jax: Whoa. Wow, you drive a hard bargain.

Carly: Well, you know the definition to a good one? When both parties get exactly what they want.

Alexis: Thank you. Getting pregnant with Sonny was a tragic mistake, but I wouldn't give up one second of Kristinaís life.

Ric: I understand.

Alexis: It was the one time I led with my heart and look what happened.

Ric: Oh, really?

Alexis: Mm-hmm. Led with it.

Ric: Right.

Alexis: I didn't mean to hurt Sam. I just wanted to warn her of the consequences of bringing a child into a violent life. And if I had any chance of getting through to her, it was worth the slap in the face.

Ric: Oh, don't forget the drink.

Alexis: Hmm. It was worth it. Hmm.

Jason: First of all, I've never agreed with Alexis about anything.

Sam: Are you sure? Because the way you keep putting off having a baby, it makes me think that you think that our lives are a little bit too dangerous to add a child into the mix.

Jason: Why are you actually even listening to this woman?

Sam: I am listening to you, Jason. You know, that's -- maybe we should just forget the whole thing.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Luke: I'm as good as charged with attempted murder.

Jason: Forget Alexis. Don't let her stop you from wanting a family.

Nikolas: I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?

Patrick: He's going to break my hand if I ever hurt you.
