Jax: Hey, you know, if we can extend from the main bar right here, we can turn this into the wine room.

Luke: Any changes will have to be cleared with your partners.

Jax: Just go have him give me another estimate, ok?

Man: Will do.

Jax: Ahem. What are you trying to prove?

Luke: Carly owns half this joint. It would be unwise to make changes without her input.

Jax: I do what I want. I don't need your approval.

Luke: Easy, koala boy. One word from me and drop bears rain down from the eucalyptus.

Courtney: Ooh, my goodness. That looks delicious.

Nikolas: Well, I think it's a good sign that you're craving cherry vanilla because, see, cherry vanilla's my favorite, so maybe it's hereditary.

Courtney: You know what? I hate to get our hopes up, Nikolas, really. I mean, we don't have real proof that Jax switched the original paternity test.

Nikolas: No. But we both know that Luke is holding something big over Jax and I just -- I can't help but hope that what it is, is that I'm the father, that's all.

Emily: What's wrong? Jase, are you feeling ok?

Jason: Yeah, I'm fine. What about you?

Emily: I'm better, or at least I'm getting that way.

Jason: Tell me you haven't got a thing for Sonny.

Emily: Jase, where would you even -- all right, Carly. God, I could just kill her.

Jason: It's not about Carly, Emily.

Emily: Yes, it is. You're -- you're lying here in a hospital at her mercy and she lays this stupid, paranoid theory of hers on you.

Jason: Do you have a thing for Sonny?

Emily: No, Jase. Are you happy?

Carly: I hate being at Roselawn. I picture the boys coming home from school, playing in the snow, having meals with you. The better I get, the more I miss them.

Sonny: Then focus on getting well, Carly, for real, so you can come home instead of scamming your way into these visits.

Carly: I hate to admit it, but you're right.

Sonny: I'm always right. Well, not --

Carly: In your big, egotistical dreams -- that's when you're right.

Lorenzo: I was afraid I would find you here. How dare you use Diegoís trial as an excuse to sneak off to see Sonny.

Sonny: Who let you in here?

Lorenzo: Do you even care that my son will spend the rest of his life in prison?

Sonny: Don't talk to my wife like that, Alcazar!

Lorenzo: Nice. Our divorce isn't even final and, well, it will be soon. Under the circumstances, I can't say I'm sorry about that.

Sonny: You can go ahead and go whenever you want.

Carly: How is Diego?

Lorenzo: If you were truly interested, Carly, you would have stayed.

[Door closes]

Carly: Don't do that to me again.

Elizabeth: Lucky. Hey.

Lucky: Hey.

Elizabeth: I heard Manny Ruiz was being moved today.

Lucky: Yeah, yeah. He's well enough to transfer to county, but the plan is to process him through and then we'll hold him there until trial.

Elizabeth: Oh.

Lucky: Listen, I don't want you to be here.

Elizabeth: Well, neither should you.

Manny: Mira, bro. It's the pretty one who takes care of me when I'm not feeling --

Lucky: Shut your mouth! It's my wife.

Manny: Baby, you never said a word.

[Manny chuckles]

Lucky: I don't want you anywhere near this.

Elizabeth: Why are you? You promised me.

Lucky: I'm ready to work -- I need to. Please, I -- just -- let's not do this right now. Go home.

Elizabeth: I'm working.

Lucky: Listen, there could be trouble.

Elizabeth: Then you need to be careful.

Lucky: Considering how many people hate this guy, he's the one that should be worried.

Carly: I don't want any man fighting my battles for me -- not you, not even Jason. I am ready to take on anyone who wants to mess with me.

Sonny: I guess so.

[Sonny laughs]

Carly: You're laughing at me.

Sonny: No --

Carly: You're laughing at me.

Sonny: No, that depends. Did you really use Diegoís trial to talk your way out of Roselawn?

Carly: I stopped by the courthouse on my way.

Sonny: Oh, you never change, Carly.

Carly: Well, some things change.

Sonny: What?

Carly: I'm not your wife anymore.

Sonny: Oh, yeah, that kind of just came -- it kind of came out of my mouth or something.

Carly: Yeah. Old habits. You know, although, this place is in need of a woman's touch.

Sonny: Is there something that you needed to say to me or talk to me about?

Carly: Yeah.

Sonny: Ok.

Carly: I'll say it since you wonít. You know when I told you that Emily was in love with you, you did not at all look surprised, which makes sense because you're really good at figuring out when a woman has feelings for you, the way Emily does. So it's true? Emily's in love with you.

Luke: You don't want a wine bar. Jax, you want a cigar lounge.

Jax: You have absolutely no say in what happens in this hotel.

Luke: I represent the interests of your partners.

Jax: Look, Carly hasn't shown up since you started this whole blackmail, which doesn't surprise me because she still resides in a mental hospital. By the way, did you get your finder's fee yet, Luke?

Luke: I'm in no hurry.

Jax: Which brings me to another question -- why go to the trouble of getting this place for Carly when you could have asked for this hotel for yourself?

Luke: Well, that could arouse the interest of certain unfriendly offshore parties like the I.R.S. No, it's better for me to stay in the background for now. But, of course, I could change my mind. We both know that what I have on you can only grow and grow and grow.

Courtney: I just still find it so hard to believe that Jax would switch the D.N.A. results -- you know, to pretend to love me and then steal another man's child.

Nikolas: Not when -- when you look at it from Jaxís point of view. He's all about winning, always has been.

Courtney: Jax has a good heart. I mean, I've seen it.

Nikolas: Courtney, you two got together over a bet. All right? I mean, that's got to tell you something about who he really is.

Courtney: Well, that is a far cry from this, ok? Well, I guess it would be what we've always wanted -- you know, Jax to turn out to be this wicked, the baby to be yours.

Nikolas: Mm-hmm.

Courtney: It would make our lives a whole lot easier.

Nikolas: Yeah, but all I want is the truth right now. And I told you it doesn't matter what the test results say. I plan to have a future with you and that baby regardless.

[Phone rings]

Courtney: Hello. Yeah, thank you. Yeah, we'll be right there.

Nikolas: Is that the test results?

Courtney: No point in waiting, right?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Elizabeth: I'm glad you guys are here. I really could use a friendly shoulder.

Emily: My life, Jase, was in turmoil and I needed to feel useful and valued again. And Michael and Morgan were scared and confused and I was happy to help Sonny care for them. And maybe it wasn't all selfless on Sonny's part. He -- he needed my help, you know, somebody that he could count on. And you were dealing with your own stuff. Jason, maybe because I'm your sister, I was the next best thing. I get now why you care about Sonny. I've seen what most people don't -- his compassion and his tenderness, especially when it comes to his children. He's a -- he's a complicated man and he recognizes that in other people, in me. He saw that I was hurt and lost and needed something steady in my life and -- and we became, you know, we became friends, Jase. That's all. If you need to worry about anyone, you worry about Carly, that she could be so selfish and thoughtless to just dump this on you.

Jason: I can handle her.

Emily: But you shouldn't have to. Stupid gossip is the last thing you need, and shame on Carly for trying to take something special and ruin it. I'm fine, Sonny's fine, and that should answer your question, right?

Jason: Sure.

Emily: Jase. I love you. And this isn't for you to worry about. Ok? I'll see you later.

Jason: Ok.

Sam: Is your sister ok?

Jason: I donít know.

Lucas: I can't believe the judge reached a decision so quickly.

Brook Lynn: What was there to think about? I mean, Diego confessed to the police. I don't know, Jesse, what kind of sentence do you think he'll get?

Jesse: I stopped second-guessing judges a long time ago.

Maxie: Still no word from Georgie?

Dillon: I'm worried about her.

Brook Lynn: You should be. She's acting like a fool.

Maxie: I just can't figure out why Georgie would think Diegoís mistakes are on the same level as the things we did, like they're morally equivalent. I just -- I don't agree.

Dillon: I'm sorry I came down on you.

Georgie: Really?

Dillon: Well, I still think Diego is a psycho, but I love you and I love your compassion.

Bailiff: All rise. The honorable Judge Harrison Chan presiding.

Judge: Everyone may be seated except for the defendant and counsel. Inasmuch as the defendant, Diego Alcazar, has confessed to the crimes of which he's been accused, the matter before the court is punishment. While the defendant is young --

Skye: They just brought him in.

Lorenzo: Thank you.

Judge: He is an adult and will be sentenced accordingly. I feel that you need ample time to contemplate your actions. This court hereby sentences you to 10 years in Pentonville to be served consecutively. You will be transported there today.

[Judge pounds gavel]

Sonny: Carly, if you're here to make false accusations about me and Emily, you should not have left Roselawn.

Lainey: That's what I told her.

Carly: Hi, Lainey. I knew you'd figure out where I was.

Lainey: I don't know what you think you'll gain by lying to me. Carly convinced me that she would be at the courthouse to support her ex-husband.

Carly: The other one.

Sonny: Ok, Carly, this might be funny, but the longer you play these games the longer it's going to be for the boys to get their mother back. I thought you really wanted to get well.

Carly: I am getting well.

Lainey: You treat Roselawn like a private hotel. You leave whenever you please -- to go on train rides, to visit your friends at the hospital.

Carly: Oh, but I saved Jason from Manny, but who cares, right?

Sonny: When do you people squeeze in therapy?

Carly: I am getting better, and you know that!

Sonny: Oh.

Lainey: It's time for us to go back now.

Carly: What?

Lainey: Your recovery's in jeopardy when you pull a number like this.

Carly: Ok, fine. Add a thousand sessions to make up for this, ok? Matter of fact, you can give me a therapy session in the car on the way home. But first, I have one more place to stop, ok? Thanks. The next time you see Emily, think about what I said. What? Come on, what are we waiting for? Let's go.

Sam: I'm guessing we should get you back to bed. We shouldn't push it the first time, right?

Jason: Oh, yeah.

Manny: Yo! Hey, how's brain-dead boy?

Lucky: Hey, keep it moving, Manny.

Manny: I'm not done with you. Not until I kill you, and Sonny -- and help myself to your woman.

Sam: In case you haven't noticed, you're the one hogtied like the pig you are.

Manny: Oh, yeah, you bitch?

Lucky: Hey! Get back!

Officer: Cut it loose! Cut it loose!

Manny: Ok, ok, ok.

Officer: Cut it loose.

Manny: Ok, ok, ok.

Lucky: Take it easy or I will have you sedated. Get him in!

Officer: Come on, man.

Manny: I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I lost it.

Elizabeth: Lucky is part of the detail escorting Manny to the P.D. for prison transport. He insists on going back to work, even though he's still recovering from almost dying.

Nikolas: You ok?

Elizabeth: I'm just a big coward when it comes to these things.

Courtney: No, no, not at all. Manny is terrifying. Hey, why don't you stay and talk to Elizabeth. I can handle this on my own.

Nikolas: No. I mean --

Courtney: No, I'll -- I'll come right back as soon as I get the results. I promise I won't open the envelope until we're together.

Nikolas: Ok.

Elizabeth: Envelope? Is someone getting an award or --

Nikolas: Yeah, maybe. All right, I'll be right here.

Courtney: Ok.

Elizabeth: No, you guys, I'm just being silly. Please, go do what you need to do. I'll be fine.

Courtney: Really, it's ok, it's ok. You can tell her if you want.

Nikolas: Ok.

Courtney: I'll come right back as soon as I get the results. Bye.

Elizabeth: Is everything ok with the baby?

Nikolas: Hopefully better than ok.

Luke: You look a tad deflated, papa.

Jax: I'm just getting tired of your snide comments.

Luke: Oh, was I being snide? Oh. I hate myself when I'm snide.

Jax: Listen, I played ball with you, ok? I took the path of least resistance. But don't push your luck, because I can make your life just as miserable as you're making mine.

Carly: Wow. This is supposed to be the beginning of a beautiful partnership.

Dillon: I don't understand why you want to be here right now.

Georgie: I just -- I want to tell Diego how sorry I am. I know it won't change what happened, but at least he'll know.

Dillon: See, he's the one who should be apologizing to us.

Georgie: Diego's about to be sent away for 10 years. I want to take responsibility for that. Don't you think someone should?

Manny: Aren't you supposed to be reading me my rights?

Det. Rodriguez: You ain't got no rights, all right?

Lucky: Shut your mouth, Manny. Maybe you'll make it to Pentonville in one piece. Pat him down.

Manny: Ooh!

Lucky: Show me your hands.

Dillon: That's the guy who caused the train crash.

Georgie: Doesn't really seem right that Diegoís going to spend the next 10 years with guys like that.

Officer: Sit down.

[Manny coughs]

Lucky: You got a problem?

Manny: It's a little something stuck in my throat. I'm ok now.

[Manny whistles]

Carly: You should be nice to Luke, Jax. Granted, he's not your partner, but he did make this opportunity possible for you.

Jax: For me?

Carly: Yeah.

Jax: Perhaps you should go back to Roselawn. Clearly, their work isn't done.

Carly: Oh, I'm going, don't worry. These chairs are awful -- first thing that has to go. The chandeliers are all wrong, and who picked out the tacky Christmas tree? That's awful.

Jax: What do you want, Carly?

Carly: I want the same things you want, only more and better. Jax, this is a great hotel, but it's not run very efficiently. I want to help it realize its full potential, explore the possibilities -- kind of like the work I'm doing on myself. I really would have thought that you would have stopped by Roselawn so we could put our heads together, make sure we were on the same page here?

Jax: You know, Carly, there really -- there really isn't any need for you to take an active interest in this hotel.

Carly: I want all financial records faxed to me at Roselawn. Meanwhile, I could pick out a space here for myself. We'll have to order all-new furniture. I love fresh-cut flowers every day --

Jax: Ok, let me -- let me think about that. No.

Carly: Did he just say no?

Luke: That's what I heard.

Carly: Ok, no to the furniture, or no to the flowers?

Jax: All of it, actually.

Carly: You have to do what I say, Jax. And we both know why.

Nikolas: You don't look the least bit surprised.

Elizabeth: It's just sad. I mean, if Jax is capable of switching paternity results -- what's going to happen?

Nikolas: Well, if I am the father, I mean, Courtney and I will still plan a future together, just Jax doesn't get a say in it, that's all.

Elizabeth: Hi, Em.

Emily: Hey, you two.

Nikolas: Hi.

Elizabeth: I -- I just remembered I was supposed to be meeting Lucky. Thanks for talking. I'll see you later

Nikolas: Did you --

Emily: Yeah. That was subtle.

Nikolas: Yeah, she left before her food even came.

Emily: Yeah, well, at least she didn't send me on a wild-goose chase at Wyndermere to look for Cameronís phantom toy, huh? So, any reason she thinks we're ready to fall into each other's arms again?

Nikolas: I don't think she meant anything by it, Emily.

Emily: Well, I'm sorry. It's just I'm a little burnt out on people having an opinion on my personal life.

Nikolas: Speaking of which, I've heard a few things, Emily, and I just --

Emily: Nikolas, who's been talking to you? Or maybe I should ask who hasn't? Don't you dare ask me if there's anything going on between me and Sonny.

Sonny: How you doing?

Jason: I just went for my first walk. Sam and I ran into Manny. They're taking him downtown.

Sonny: Yeah, they're holding him for trial -- if he lives that long.

Jason: Emily was here before.

Sonny: Yeah, she's worried about you.

Jason: Is she ok at your house?

Sonny: Hmm, yeah.

Jason: Because, you know, people think that Emilyís fragile, but she's not. She's very strong; she's a survivor.

Sonny: Right.

Jason: But you know that she's gone through a lot of tough times lately and she's very vulnerable right now, Sonny.

Sonny: If you're asking if something's going on between me and Emily -- no. I mean, I'd have to be dead not to notice what a special woman Emily is. But we're friends. That's as far as it goes.

Jason: All right, that's what she said.

Sonny: Ok, well, why are you asking? Carly? Carly did this?

Jason: Well, she brought it up.

Sonny: Well, you're doing exactly what Carly wants, trying to talk me out of something that hasn't even happened yet.

Jason: Well, come on, Sonny. You do have two types of relationships. You either throw your whole heart into it --

Sonny: Right.

Jason: Or it burns out very fast. Either way, my sister could get hurt.

Sonny: That's honest. I'm not -- I will not hurt Emily. I will not lead her on in any way. I respect her too much. We're just going to be friends.

Nikolas: Yeah, I know -- I'm involved with Courtney, I have no right to comment on your love life.

Emily: No, I have no love life, Nikolas, with Sonny or -- or anyone else. Ok, care to humiliate me some more?

Nikolas: But, Emily -- Emily, people who care about you say that there is something going on between you two.

Emily: People who care, Nikolas? Like Carly who, in case you haven't noticed, is institutionalized. She feels threatened by my relationship with her boys, and she'd tear the eyes out of any woman who even looked at Sonny. This is all her big idea.

Nikolas: I heard it from Jax.

Emily: Oh, ok. Now, there's a man with no motives to want you to worry about me.

Nikolas: All I'm saying, Emily, is if it is true, I am concerned, because Sonny is not good enough for you.

Emily: You know, Nikolas, you're right. It -- it is none of your business. The days when you had some right to protect me are so over.

Nikolas: But, you know, look what happened to Carly.

Emily: I'm not Carly, thank you very much. You know, it's funny that you're all so worried that something's going on between me and Sonny. Apparently, we're the last ones to know.

Nikolas: Doesn't mean that there isn't anything going on --

Emily: There's nothing going on between us, Nikolas. I'm not in love with Sonny, and he's certainly not in love with me.

Jax: You know, Carly, you don't have a clue how Luke got you half of this hotel.

Carly: No, but I don't really need to know. Whatever Luke has on you has got to be big. I think you should ease your burden. I've become a really good listener since going to Roselawn. What did you do that was so awful? Wouldn't you rather work with me than have it come out?

Luke: Go on, Jasper. Tell the lady.

Jax: There'll be no changes at this hotel unless I make them. Understood?

Carly: What the hell do you know?

Luke: Forget it, I'm not telling you. You'll blab to all those crazy people at Roselawn.

Carly: Ugh.

Luke: Hey, I'm still waiting for my finder's fee.

Carly: You got to give me a hand.

Luke: I take cash, check, and money orders.

Carly: Sure -- as soon as I have proof that I'm really part owner of this hotel.

Luke: Lock, stock, and bellhop.

Carly: Then show me a contract with my name on it. Then you'll get your commission. I got to go. Dr. Winters is waiting for me in the car.

Luke: Oh, really? Is your handler taking you directly back to your rubber room?

Carly: Maybe, maybe not. Be nice to the wait staff.

Luke: Always, my sweet niece, always. I'm a big tipper -- on your tab.

Lorenzo: Take it easy.

Jesse: You're just in time. We're about to transfer him to Pentonville.

Diego: I want you to go, dad. I mean it, ok? You've done everything you could, more than I deserve. I don't want you to stick around and watch this.

Lorenzo: You let me know what you need, Diego.

Diego: Just go, pop, please.

Jesse: Let's go.

Lorenzo: You didn't have to end up here.

Manny: That's ok, I don't mind. I'm kind of hoping that I end up being roommates with your boy. You know, he -- he's got such a pretty mouth.

Lorenzo: You psychotic bastard!

Mac: Hey, hey, hey, hey! Calm down.

Manny: Whoo, yeah.

Mac: Alcazar! Officer McDaniel, escort Mr. Alcazar to booking! Documents need your signature. Get him out of here! Georgie, what are you doing here?

Georgie: I know what I'm doing.

Mac: We are about to escort a very dangerous criminal. I want you and Dillon to clear out of here. You understand me? Get out of here.

Dillon: Come here. What did Mac just say? Georgie --

Georgie: In a minute! In a minute! Diego, I'm so sorry.

Diego: Oh, look, Georgie, you don't have to apologize, ok? You told the truth.

Georgie: I just -- I wanted to convince the judge you weren't some psycho. I just wanted to help.

Diego: You did, all right? I know what you were trying to say up there, ok? It means a lot to me.

Maxie: I knew Georgie was going to come here!

Jesse: Hey, hey, hey! You can't stop your sister from doing what she wants, ok? You know what? She's as stubborn as you are. Go.

Maxie: Georgie, come on. Mom made dinner.

Georgie: Wait -- no, when I'm ready.

Diego: Georgie, it's fine. You can go.

Maxie: No, you don't talk to her! Georgie --

[Georgie screams]

Manny: Ok, everyone, freeze! Oh, what you going to do? Come on.  Everyone, freeze!

Jesse: Look, let her go! Let her go!

Manny: Mira, lower the weapon. Lower the --

Jesse: Put the guns down now! Put them down!

Manny: Good, good, mira, because here's the deal. No one moves and no one dies. Baby, it's ok, no one's going to hurt you. You ok? Look, put it down.

Jesse: Lucky, put the gun down.

Manny: Ok, ok. Hey, how the missus?

Georgie: Oh, my God!

Luke: Hello, you gorgeous creature.

Skye: Luke.

Luke: Mmm. You smell so good, like all kinds of tropical flowers and some spice, maybe cinnamon.

Skye: I'm not in a mood for your games, Luke.

Luke: Oh. Well, what are you in the mood for? Romance, perhaps?

Skye: What did you do?

Luke: Cocktails in the lobby is just the beginning. I've also ordered the finest suite in the hotel and breakfast.

Skye: You didnít.

Luke: I did. I thought after our kiss in the snow under the stars, I can't think of a single reason that we should continue to deny ourselves.

Skye: Think again, Luke.

Sam: Got it. I had to bribe the nurse with an egg roll, but --

Jason: Just one?

Sam: You know it's funny. But don't take mine.

Jason: Yours?

Sam: Yes. I like the ones that have the vegetables.

Carly: Hey, guys. Jason, have you talked to Sonny?

Sam: In case anyone hasn't told you, I liked you better crazy.

Carly: Well, to each his own. So, what did he say? Did you convince him that your sweet little sister is falling in love with him?

Jason: You need to stay out of this.

Carly: I take that as a yes. Ok, so, what do we do now?

Emily: Hi. I --

Sonny: Hey.

Emily: Picked some holly from the tree outside. I hope you don't mind. It kind of makes the room look Christmassy.

Sonny: No, I don't mind.

Emily: So Morganís already down for his nap, and Michael and Kristina are in the playroom. And Morganís already outgrown his jacket, so I'm going to go and get him a new one tomorrow. Or if you'd rather get him one for Christmas, you can -- what?

Sonny: You've been great with them. And, you know, it would have been very hard to take these last few months if you hadn't been here.

Emily: You know how much this has meant to me.

Sonny: Carly's doing better. She's going to be home for -- for Christmas.

Emily: Yeah, Michaelís going to be over the moon, huh?

Sonny: Yeah. Yeah, and half the time they're going to be with their mother, and then Leticiaís here, so I think it's time we stopped taking advantage of you.

Emily: What do you mean?

Sonny: Well, I mean, you know, you put your career on hold, your plans, so I think maybe it's time to -- focus on yourself, on your family.

Emily: I thought this was my family.

Sonny: If you don't want -- if you don't want to leave yet, you don't have to.

Emily: No, you're right. I think it's time that I started focusing on myself. You know, besides, if I stay here, I could end up doing more harm than good.

Nikolas: Well?

Courtney: I was tempted, but I promised I wouldn't look at it without you, didn't I?

Nikolas: Well, I couldn't have done it. I'd want to know the results right away.

Jax: What results?

Nikolas: None of your business.

Courtney: Actually, that's not true. This is pretty much all about you, Jax.

Jax: Really?

Courtney: Why don't we -- why don't we all look at this together, since it concerns all of us.

Jax: What is it?

Courtney: It's about the baby.

Jesse: What the hell happened?

Mac: I don't know. Ruiz, get up!

Jesse: Are you ok?

Maxie: No -- I'm ok. Oh, my God, Dillon!

Georgie: We need a doctor!

Dillon: I'm fine.

Georgie: No --

Dillon: I'm -- ow!

Georgie: I'm sorry, you're bleeding, Dillon!

Dillon: Yeah, well, I'm ok! Are you ok? Are you hurt?

Georgie: No, you're -- yes, I'm fine, I'm fine.

Dillon: Good, good.

Maxie: Hey, I can't believe how lucky you got.

Georgie: "Lucky"? No, I didn't get lucky. Diego saved my life, and yours.

Diego: Agh.

Lucky: He's out.

Mac: Where's he wounded?

Det. Rodriguez: There's not a mark on him.  He wasn't shot.

Jesse: Then what happened?

Luke: We've had our share of mixed signals, that's for sure. But the lips don't lie, Blaze. You're primed to pursue something with me, Tracy or no Tracy. Or am I still getting mixed signals?

Skye: Oh, no, Luke. You got a signal as clear as day, all right, a green light.

Luke: Oh, you've made me such a happy man.

Skye: On my terms.

Luke: You have terms?

Skye: We start from square one. You get to call me, date me, woo me. You somehow convince me that you're worth my time and my affection, and by the time you've won my heart, you'll either be divorced from Tracy, or you will have convinced me to be your mistress.

Luke: And until then?

Skye: I respond well to flowers and trinkets, but not hotel rooms.

Luke: Well, what about broom closets or the back of a limo?

Skye: Your woo needs work.

Luke: But that kiss the other night?

Skye: Incentive.

Courtney: I got another D.N.A. test.

Jax: Why would you do that? I mean, you already know that I'm the father.

Courtney: Well, I wanted a second opinion.

Jax: Well, unless you think that the tests were inconclusive or that they got mixed up or something?

Nikolas: Actually, "switched" is the word that we had in mind.

Jax: Well, that's crazy. I mean, who would do that?

Nikolas: You.

Jax: You really think that of me?

Courtney: Jax, why did you let Carly buy into the Metro Court with you?

Jax: Not because of this. I mean, I didn't even know that you were pregnant until after you'd had the first test.

Courtney: That's what I thought.

Jax: Oh, I see. You want this fantasy so you can justify running around together, right? Erase Jax from the picture, and you won't feel guilty? That would be really convenient.

Nikolas: We'll see.

Jax: No, you see. You go ahead and look at your results. I already know what it says.

Nikolas: Whatever. If he doesn't want to stay here and face the truth, fine. Let's see it.

Courtney: Ok.

Jason: It's not for you. As for Sonny and Emily, there's nothing you can do but stay out of it.

Carly: Oh, so there's something to stay out of?

Jason: You know what? I really bought your line -- the new Carly? The independent woman --

Carly: Jason --

Jason: Who says she doesn't need any man.

Carly: Well, you know what? I need my kids, and no one gets to replace me in their lives, ever.

Jason: What are you talking -- Emily wouldnít.

Carly: Ok.

Jason: She's not the problem, you are. Whether or not you're with Sonny, you don't want him around any other woman.

Carly: So what if I don't?

Emily: That's everything.

Sonny: Not quite.  Here you go.

Emily: Thank you.

Sonny: You know, when I -- I asked you to leave, I didn't really -- I didn't mean, like, tonight.

Emily: When it's time, it's time. You know, besides, I don't want to make a big deal out of saying my goodbyes -- to the boys. Yeah, I don't want to be a -- I made some plans with Michael and Morgan over the holidays, if that's ok.

Sonny: Oh, yeah. Hey, you know what? If you hadn't brought -- you know, if you didn't bring it up, I was going to invite you, because the boys love having you around. We all do.

Emily: Sonny, you know, this has been a really special time for me, everything that you've done.

Sonny: And I'm so grateful, because you've done so much for me that I can't even tell you, and you've done it with grace, care, concern. You make everything look easy.

Emily: Well, if I'm leaving here stronger than I arrived, it's because you gave me the space and the time to get that way.

Sonny: Well -- so -- ok.

Emily: Ok. Bye, Sonny. Thank you for everything.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Patrick: What do we got?

Paramedic: Some kind of seizure.

Sam: Manny Ruiz has been brought to the hospital.

Nikolas: We promised each other we'd live with the results. Who's the father?

Jason: You're not in charge of Sonny's life.

Carly: I'm still the only woman for Sonny.

Sonny: Emily, don't go.
