Emily: So Elizabeth basically tricked us.

Nikolas: Yeah. Yeah, I guess she wanted us together on our anniversary.

Emily: Yeah. She probably had this whole romantic notion of, you know, how we were going to reminisce and fall into each other's arms.

Nikolas: Yeah, Em, I'm sure that she had the best of intentions.

Emily: Yeah, I know. I just wish everybody would stay out of our lives.

Nikolas: Wait, wait, wait. Don't go.

Dr. Kim: I was skeptical when you suddenly told me you were determined to break free from Sonny. I suspected you were merely telling me what I wanted to hear so you'd be released sooner.

Carly: A couple weeks ago, you would've been right.

Dr. Kim: And now?

Carly: I lost myself in Sonny. My whole world revolved around him, and I became totally obsessed with getting him back. Then I forgot who I was. But now I really need to remember.

Dr. Kim: I can see that you're sincere.

Carly: I'm going to get back on track, Dr. Kim. I am. And then I'm going to live my life on my own terms.

[Knock on door]

Man: [German accent] Dr. Kim, my name is Jop von Skimmerman. I am also a doctor.

Dr. Kim: One minute, please. We're just finishing up our session.

Man: Well, that is why I'm here. I would like, if I may, to speak with your patient, Caroline "Alca-zeer."

Sonny: There must be something else you can do for Jason.

Robin: If he doesn't agree to surgery, there are no other options.

Sonny: So we're supposed to just wait around for him to die?

Robin: I'm sorry, Sonny.

Sonny: No, Robin, don't be sorry. Find him some help.

Sam: Jason? No, no.

Jason: Are you ok?

Sam: I just -- I had a nightmare.

Jason: It's ok. It was just a dream.

Sam: I know, but I dreamed you were dead. And we both know it's coming. Tonight, a week from now, a month from now, but it will happen.

Jason: And we're here now. And we're going to spend every -- every minute together.

Sam: I know, I'm sorry. I shouldn't complain. I shouldnít. I just -- I wanted a lifetime with you, and I know that I'm not going to have it.  We were going to travel together, remember?

Jason: Of course I remember.

Sam: You know, we talked about going everywhere. We were going to go to Italy and Spain and Africa and -- you know, I just wanted so much for us to have a family and to build a life together. You know, just do all the everyday things that couples do. To get up in the morning and make breakfast and burn some toast and argue and make up and shoot some pool.

Jason: That stuff is -- that stuff is fun.

Sam: You know, it's -- it's just not computing yet. I -- I can't imagine my life without you.

Jason: If -- if you have our baby just, you know, love it with -- with all your heart. That is the best gift you could give me.

Robin: You're flying to Hawaii?

Sonny: Jason told me where the beach house is.

Robin: Right, but even if you do find him, what good is it going to do? Jason refuses to have the surgery.

Sonny: Well, if that's his only option, Jasonís got to do it.

Robin: Well, Tony Jones is now saying that he won't perform the operation.

Sonny: You need to look for the best surgeon you can find.

Robin: It won't matter because Jason won't do it.

Sonny: Robin, I will -- I will handle Jason.

Robin: There is a good chance that it could leave him debilitated, maybe even on life-support. Jason said he doesn't want to take a chance like that. He'd rather die.

Sonny: I will find a way to convince him.

Dr. Kim: Dr. von Skimmerman?

Luke: [German accent] "Skeemer-mon."

Dr. Kim: Skimmerman. I don't know the name. Where do you practice?

Luke: At the Gesprungen clinic in Vienna.

Dr. Kim: Hmm, I've never heard of it.

Luke: It's a new facility, founded by a civic-minded steel magnate whose unfortunate wife killed herself by jumping from a train trestle into the blue Danube.

Carly: Why do you want to see me, Dr. von Skimmerman?

Luke: "Skeemer-mon." You see, Frau "Alca-zeer," I think that your story is very interesting. You show a lot of courage coming here to Roselawn. It's very brave. I am writing book, and I think that your story, your insights could be very valuable to others in your similar situation.

Carly: You want to put my case in your book?

Luke: That is correct.

Dr. Kim: I'll need to consult with my patient before allowing her to talk to you.

Carly: No, that's ok. If my story can help others, it's my obligation to cooperate.

Luke: You're a very generous woman, Frau "Alca-zeer."

Carly: What's your book about, Dr. von Skimmerman?

Luke: "Skeemer-mon." It is about women who walk away from powerful men and empower themselves and others.

Carly: That's fascinating. I would really like to give Dr. von Skimmerman --

Luke: Excellent.

Carly: Some valuable insight on this.

Dr. Kim: All right, then. I'll be back.

Luke: Thank you, doctor.

Carly: What are you up to?

Luke: [Normal voice] I was going to ask you the same thing.

Lucky: Hey, did you clock out?

Elizabeth: Yep. I'm all done. How you feeling?

Lucky: Great. I can't wait to get out of this pop stand.

Elizabeth: Well, then let's not wait. I mean, if you're feeling ok, I can get a doctor to sign off on it. Come on, let's get out of here tonight. We can go straight to this little bed and breakfast I found in Vermont. We'll pretend it's our honeymoon --

[Lucky laughs]

Elizabeth: Get away for a couple days where no one can bother us.

Lucky: Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's the sudden need to escape? Did you rob a bank or something?

Elizabeth: No, I didn't steal anything.

Lucky: Here comes the "but."

Elizabeth: I kind of let Jax talk me into something that's either this wonderful, terrific thing or it's really dreadful.

Nikolas: Listen, don't be too hard on Elizabeth, ok? I think her heart was in the right place.

Emily: Yeah. Yeah, she just can't accept the fact that we're not together anymore.

Nikolas: Do you ever -- do you ever look back and wonder how we got like this?

Emily: All the time.

Nikolas: Yeah. You remember when you asked me to pretend that we were in love?

Emily: Yeah, I wanted to set Zander free so he could move on with his life.

Nikolas: The ironic thing was we were in love. We just hadn't realized it yet, huh?

Emily: Yeah.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: Oh -- I guess we're doing exactly what Elizabeth wanted us to do, huh?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: Reminiscing.

Nikolas: Yeah. Yep, we're falling right into her trap, aren't we?

Emily: Yeah. Maybe we shouldn't give her the satisfaction.

Nikolas: Well, come on. It is our anniversary, right? Well, it would have been. We're entitled to a few memories, I think.

Emily: I suppose we are. You know, Nikolas, I wouldn't even be standing here if it wasn't for you. You gave me the strength to survive cancer and you pulled me through.

Nikolas: Hmm.

Emily: That night in the hospital when I almost died -- I mean, you sat in the next room, willing me to live. And I could feel you in my dreams.

Nikolas: We were connected, weren't we?

Emily: And that's why I knew in my heart that you were still alive after the car wreck. I tried to convince myself that you were gone, but I never quite believed it.

Nikolas: You found me.

Emily: You recovered. And I thought that nothing could ever pull us apart again.

Nikolas: And then Connor.

Emily: Yeah. You know, I shouldn't have tried to get through it alone. Nikolas, Elizabeth told me to get help and I just wouldn't listen.

Nikolas: Listen -- yeah, yeah, I wish you would have gotten some counseling or something. I wish you wouldn't have had to suffer alone, but nothing could ever change the fact that he looks just like me, Emily.

Emily: But I should have told you. Nikolas, I had so much pain and -- and anger and -- and I didn't share it with you, and I let it destroy us.

Nikolas: No. No, it didn't destroy us.

Lucky: You lied to Nikolas and Emily so they'd both show up at Wyndermere garden at the same time?

Elizabeth: It's their first anniversary.

Lucky: No, was their first anniversary. They're getting divorced, remember?

Elizabeth: Yeah, but the paperwork isn't even final. And what if they still love each other?

Lucky: They say they donít.

Elizabeth: Did you see the way they were looking at each other at our wedding? They are still connected, and they always will be.

Lucky: It's not our call.

Elizabeth: They each think the other has moved on, but you know what? Deep down they know they belong together.

Lucky: They do?

Elizabeth: They just needed a little push, so I -- I gave it to them. Don't you want them to be together?

Lucky: That's not the point. It's their business, not ours.

Elizabeth: What about Nikolas and Emily throwing us our surprise wedding? They knew we would object to them spending all that money, so they just did it without telling us.

Lucky: No, that is not the same. We were already together, and Nikolas and Emily arenít.

Elizabeth: Fine. But at one time they were in love, and I think they could be again.

Lucky: What the hell are you doing here?  Why would you let Jax talk you into setting Nikolas and Emily up?

Elizabeth: He donít have to do much convincing.

Jax: Why do you care?

Lucky: Because you manipulate people, Jax. Just like you manipulated Elizabeth when she was a surrogate for your baby, and now you're doing it with Nikolas and Courtney.

Elizabeth: Lucky, we already talked about this. I'm glad Nikolas and Emily are getting the chance to talk. They'll reflect on their marriage and remember what they had.

Jax: I know how this looks. But no one is forcing them to do anything, ok? They could have just as easily met by mistake.

Lucky: But they didnít.

Jax: Ok, you're right. You know, Elizabeth set it up at my request.

Elizabeth: And now we'll just let nature take its course.

Lucky: Unless Nikolas and Emily don't want to be together.

Elizabeth: And if they don't, then nothing will happen. But if they do, then don't you think they deserve this chance?

Nikolas: Listen, we were in this together, Emily, for both the good and the bad.

Emily: Too bad we can't point a finger and say one of us was the bad guy, huh?

Nikolas: It certainly would make things easier, wouldn't it?

Emily: I tried to blame you, Nikolas. I had battles raging on in my head, anger and upset and disbelief that things could turn out this way.

Nikolas: Well, you never really showed it.

Emily: Because I knew the breakup had been my doing as much as yours. We thought our love would last forever. But it didnít.

Nikolas: Well --

Emily: Our marriage ended.

Nikolas: And now we're moving on, huh?

Emily: Yeah.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: Yeah, I guess it's a sign of progress that we both can sit here talking about it so rationally.

Nikolas: Well, we've always been friends.

Emily: Is that what we are now?

Nikolas: Well, I suppose after our marriage and all the memories that we've had that it will never quite that simple, you know.

Emily: Yeah, we have years of memories before that, too.

Nikolas: Mm-hmm, yeah.

Emily: And the times we shared with Lucky and Elizabeth.

Nikolas: Yeah, yeah. And last month we gave them the wedding of their dreams, didn't we? Didn't we?

Emily: We did. We were always going to be the Four Musketeers.

Nikolas: Yeah, the Four Musketeers. Yeah.

Emily: Even though you're with Courtney now.

Nikolas: And you're in med school with the brightest of futures ahead of you. And that is proof right there, Emily -- right there -- that Connor Bishop did not destroy you.

Emily: Right.

Nikolas: It's ok. It's ok.

Luke: You know, I tried to get in here to see you, but it turns out I'm on some kind of list of people you don't want in here?

Carly: Did you ask yourself why?

Luke: Well, I know we've had our differences. But we are blood.

Carly: Blood? Luke, what do you want? What are you doing here?

Luke: I understand that you are going to divorce.

Carly: Yes. The sooner the better.

Luke: Well, these kind of things can get complicated.

Carly: No, there should be no problem. I don't want a dime of his money.

Luke: You should rethink that. You put the time in, you married the guy, you gave it your best shot. The least he owes you is a decent alimony.

Carly: Oh. Right. And then I can share with others -- namely, a certain phony psychiatrist.

Luke: Look, Alcazar is sick and tired of E.L.Q., and his E.L.Q. stock would make a very handsome alimony package.

Carly: I don't care about E.L.Q.

Luke: Well, I know you don't, but I do. See, if you just turn it over to me, and I'll take care of everything, and you can just wipe your hands of the whole deal.

Carly: Why would I do that?

Luke: Because we're family, Caroline.

Carly: Oh, really? Since when?

Luke: Since you were born. How about a little Spencer solidarity? I have a daughter to support. Lulu's moved in with me.

Carly: Hmm. How is Lorenzoís stock going to help you be a better dad?

Luke: If I get ahold of that stock, I'm golden. Then Lulu and I don't have to be your poor relations anymore.

Carly: So what am I supposed to do? I'm supposed to just hand this over to you out of the goodness of my heart?

Luke: No, of course not. We'll work something out. It'll be beneficial to both of us, believe me.

Carly: Oh, wow. You must really think I'm crazy.

Luke: Come on, Caroline. You're a Spencer. Spencers think outside the box. We're a special breed. We don't give a damn about the rules. You and I can pull this family out of the cellar and make it something again.

Carly: Ok.

Luke: Just like that?

Carly: I need an ally, and, what the hell, it can be you.

[Knock on door]

Lorenzo: Carly?

Carly: Huh?

Lorenzo: We need to talk. Who's this?

Robin: Jason is going to Hawaii to die. I am not going to let that happen.

Tony: Well, if you're still considering surgery --

Robin: It's the only option left.

Tony: Jason's condition is too unstable. And I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to attempt it.

Robin: Ok. Do you know anyone else that would?

Tony: You need to find someone with experience in this particular field of neurosurgery. Someone -- a doctor who has the skills to lessen the odds of serious side effects.

Robin: Sounds like you have someone in mind.

Sam: I promise that you will always be a part of me. And I hope to God that we have a baby together because our child will grow up knowing how you changed my life and showed me what love is.

Jason: Just don't be afraid. I want you to make the most of your life.

Sam: I know. I know you taught me that it's ok to be honest and straightforward and live life on my own terms, because that's what you do, and what you have always done. And what you will do till the end.

Lucky: You're messing with our friends' lives.

Jax: Listen, Courtney is pregnant with my child. She's planning to raise it with Nikolas. I just want to make sure that he's still not in love with Emily.

Lucky: If Nikolas said he is committed to taking care of Courtney and the baby, he is.

Jax: Listen, I'm sure that his intentions are good, but isn't it possible that he promised Courtney a little bit more than he can deliver?

Lucky: All right, you are not hearing what I'm saying, are you?

Elizabeth: Baby, sit back and just relax, ok?

Jax: Listen, Lucky, if Nikolas is still in love with Emily -- and your own wife believes that he is --

Elizabeth: Oh, I said I wanted to believe, Jax.

Jax: Ok, I'm just -- I'm concerned about what's going to happen to my child. I don't want him or her growing up with a man who's going to disappear and leaving behind a broken home.

Lucky: You're just trying to manipulate Courtney into ditching Nikolas, or the other way around -- whatever works, right, Jax?

Jax: This isn't helping his recovery.

Lucky: All right, just -- just like always, huh? Going to lie? You're going to cheat, you're going to twist the facts? Whatever it takes to get what you want, huh?

Emily: What am I doing?

Nikolas: What?

Emily: You're in love with someone else.

Nikolas: I still care about you, Emily. I always will. You know that.

Emily: It's because today's our anniversary. It just brought up all these memories and feelings.

Nikolas: No, I'm glad that you came here. I am.

Emily: I didn't mean to get caught up in the past, Nikolas. I'm -- I'm sorry.

Nikolas: It's ok. Please, wait. Emily, please --

Carly: He's one of my doctors.

Lorenzo: Oh, really?

Carly: Yes.

Lorenzo: Well, I'd like to meet him.

Carly: No, I don't want you involved in my treatment. So, are you here because you started the divorce procedures?

Lorenzo: Well, I think first we need to agree on the terms, Carly.

Carly: Well, there's only one thing I want, and something that belongs to my family since Michael by birth is a Quartermaine.

Lorenzo: You've never wanted anything to do with the Quartermaines.

Carly: Unless it's to stick it to them.

Lorenzo: Oh. You're referring to the --

Carly: E.L.Q. stock, yes.

Lorenzo: Well, that's funny. Your Uncle Luke suggested the exact same thing.

Tony: He is the one person I know that has a chance of successfully operating on Jason.

Robin: Him?

Tony: He is one of the best neurosurgeons in the country, maybe the world. His file is full of one success after another. He operates on high-risk patients that most won't touch. And he performs miracles.

Robin: So if anyone can save Jason, he can?

Tony: But I warn you -- if you go with him, you're going to have your work cut out for you.

Sam: What are you doing here?

Sonny: Well, I was just in the neighborhood. This is a beautiful place. I can see why you like it here.

Sam: Jason and I decided that -- you know, that we'd rather be here than Port Charles.

Sonny: So you're going to stay till the bitter end, so I figured since, you know, you remember who I am, that we -- and, you know, what we've been through together -- that maybe you could have a drink with me, and we can have a chance to say what we need to say.

Jason: You're going to talk me out of it.

Sonny: You're damn straight I am.

Elizabeth: You're not really mad at me, are you?

Lucky: No. But I think you were wrong to lie to Nikolas and Emily.

Elizabeth: It was just a little white lie. I was helping along the course of true love.

Lucky: Well, looks like the course of true love is about to make a detour to my room.

Emily: Lucky, hi.

Lucky: Hey.

Emily: How are you feeling?

Lucky: Better all the time.

Emily: Great. You know, Elizabeth, I -- I went to Wyndermere to look for Cameronís stuffed lion, but I just didn't see it anywhere.

Elizabeth: Really?

Emily: Yeah. You did say that you left it in the garden when you were cutting holly for wreaths, didn't you?

Elizabeth: Yeah, yeah. Well, hmm, I guess a servant picked it up.

Emily: Oh, you know, if they had, they would have mentioned it to Nikolas, and he just didn't say anything to me about it.

Elizabeth: You saw Nikolas? Did you get a chance to talk to him?

Emily: Yeah, I did.

Elizabeth: Good. Well, I guess I just made a mistake about the lion.

Emily: The mistake was coming up with a lame excuse to throw me and Nikolas back together.

Lucky: Well, it wasn't exactly Elizabethís idea.

Emily: Uh-huh. So who thought of it?

Lucky: Jax.

Jax: Did you get anything?

Coleman: Oh, yeah. Got it all in living color.

Jax: Anyone see you?

Coleman: Are you kidding? A cannon could have gone off and those two wouldn't have heard it. Took them less than 10 minutes to go into a clinch, man. Here. See for yourself. Ah -- after we take care of business.

Jax: Count it if you want.

Coleman: Oh, don't worry, I will.

Carly: What, do you think I'm plotting with Luke?

Lorenzo: Well, you tell me.

Carly: You know what? Check the list of people who aren't allowed to visit me. He's at the top of the list.

Lorenzo: Really? Then why the sudden interest in E.L.Q.?

Carly: I want to start a project.

Lorenzo: What kind of project?

Carly: It's none of your business.

Lorenzo: I'm standing in your room in a mental hospital, Carly, and you're asking me -- no, you're telling me to give you 30% of stock in a multinational corporation, and you expect me just to hand it over and say "sure"?

Carly: It's a fraction of your assets, and it seems like a reasonable alimony settlement to me.

Lorenzo: Reasonable for somebody who's rational enough to make that decision.

Carly: So what are you going to do? Huh? What are you planning? Are you planning to claim that I'm mentally incompetent to handle stock now?

Lorenzo: I don't have a plan.

Carly: Then why are you doing this? Why are you grilling me?

Lorenzo: Because it's obvious you're going to use the money to go chasing after Sonny.

Carly: You couldn't be more wrong.

Sonny: The medicine you were on almost killed you. I can see why you wouldn't want to try something else, but what if there was something that could save your life?

Jason: I made the decision to come here with Sam, and I'm staying.

Sonny: Robin has another option. You won't be alone, I'll be with you every step of the way.

Jason: Sonny, just let it go.

Sonny: You never gave up on me, Jason, even when you wanted to. Javier Ruiz had his finger on the trigger; I was staring death in the face. You came back to save my life even when you didn't remember why you wanted to do it.

Jason: This is different.

Sonny: No, it's not! We have our backs. We always did and we always will. I'm not going to lose you without a fight.

Emily: I can't believe that you went along with Jax on this. You played right into his hands.

Elizabeth: But this is a special day for you and Nikolas.

Emily: Look, I know your intentions were good, Elizabeth, but Jax -- he doesn't care what happens to any of us, right, or who might get hurt along the way. All he wants is for Courtney to come back. Just tell her, Lucky.

Lucky: I did.

Elizabeth: Jax's motives don't really matter.

Emily: Of course they do. Elizabeth, Jax is a manipulator. How do you know that he wasn't using you in some way?

Elizabeth: Emily, this is about you and Nikolas. The two of you have unfinished business.

Emily: Oh, trust me, it's finished.

Elizabeth: Oh, so you got a chance to talk to him?

Emily: Yes, and there were no magical moments or fireworks or grand, you know, declarations.

Elizabeth: But it was good to see him?

Emily: Yes, because Nikolas and I are friends just like I am with -- with you and Lucky. You know, we care about each other and we respect each other, we've been through a lot, and that's it. And as far as any romantic, you know, fantasy that you might have, it's just not going to happen. So do me a favor and stay out of our lives. What?

Elizabeth: Well, if nothing happened, why are you getting so worked up?

Emily: Because I don't enjoy being manipulated.

Elizabeth: You felt something, didn't you? That little spark that told you your heart still belongs to Nikolas?

Emily: I really don't know what you guys are talking about.

Elizabeth: Say what you want. I think it worked.

Lorenzo: Our marriage is over. You're free to go running back to Sonny at the speed of light.

Carly: It is not going to happen.

Lorenzo: This is us, Carly. There's no therapist in the room. There's nothing you have to prove to anyone.

Carly: I want your E.L.Q. stock for myself.

Lorenzo: Really? And what are you going to do with it once you get it? Hmm? E.L.Q. has interests in outdoor advertising. Maybe you'll splash your face on some billboards between Sonny's house and the docks.

Carly: I know that you think that I'm going to spiral down into some Sonny-obsessed frenzy.

Lorenzo: That's been the pattern.

Carly: Well, I hate to disappoint you, but that's not going to happen. See, someone held a mirror up and I got a really good look and I didn't like it. And I swore that I was never going to lose myself in someone again. So the only thing I want, Lorenzo, is my life back. I'm really sick and tired of being that dependent, pathetic person that I became. So I want a life of my own, come hell or high water, so whatever I do with your stock is going to be for me and only me.

Lorenzo: You mean it, don't you?

Carly: What do you think?

Lorenzo: This is all I have ever wanted for you, Carly -- to get rid of the things that are distracting you and to be yourself again.

Bartender: You lost, little lady?

Robin: Yeah. I'm looking for 154 Butler.

Bartender: You found it.

Robin: Is there another building or something? I'm looking for a surgeon named Noah Drake.

Bartender: You mean the doc? He's right over there.

Sonny: The surgery could save you, Jason.

Jason: The surgery could put me in a coma for the rest of my life, Sonny.

Sonny: It's worth the risk.

Jason: Not to me.

Sonny: What if it works? What if you get better? What, then you can, you know, put everything behind you --

Jason: Everyone gets to make their own choices.

Sonny: Yeah.

Jason: You taught me that.

Sonny: I'm not trying to make your decision for you. I'm just asking you to hold off and think about it. There are people who need you -- me, Carly, Michael, Emily, Sam. She's going to honor your decision no matter what, even if it breaks her heart thinking she has to go on without you. If you won't have the surgery for yourself, do it for Sam.

Elizabeth: I admit I might have gone a little too far with this whole Emily-Nikolas thing.

Lucky: Hmm. You think?

Elizabeth: All right, I was like one of those obnoxious mothers who's constantly pestering their children about "When are you going to get married and when are you going to have babies?"

Lucky: You weren't that bad.

Elizabeth: I was just excited about Nikolas and Emily being back together, so I went ahead with that ridiculous plan. I don't know what I was expecting. Some fairy-tale ending?

Lucky: Probably.

Elizabeth: You're right, I was. I'm this hopeless, meddling, interfering romantic. And all I've managed to do is annoy my two closest friends.

Lucky: And you just want Nikolas and Emily to be as happy as we are.

Elizabeth: Yeah, is that so wrong?

Lucky: It's one of the things that I love most about you.

Emily: Jax!

Jax: What's up?

Emily: Oh, Lucky and Elizabeth told me that little accidental meeting at Wyndermere was your idea.

Jax: Yeah, well, Elizabeth agreed.

Emily: Oh, don't put this on Elizabeth.

Jax: I'm not putting this on Elizabeth. I'm just saying that she --

Emily: No, you should have never gone to her in the first place! Jax, you know she has a kind heart, so you worked that angle. You could care less about me and Nikolas. It's all about you, as usual.

Jax: Why are you so upset about it?

Emily: It was arrogant and manipulative. You want Courtney back? Then you just work it out with her and leave us alone. And if she doesn't love you anymore, then you just get used to it. I have.

Jax: Why, because Nikolas and Courtney belong together? Come on, Emily. You know better, ok? It's you and Nikolas and it always has been.

Emily: Then, Jax, you've made it clear what you want, but people are going to do what they want to do, and there's -- there's nothing that we can do to control it or change it.

Lorenzo: I always wanted you to be strong and independent, and now you're on your way.

Carly: You know, if you think that a light bulb is going to go off and I'm going to suddenly realize you're the man for me --

Lorenzo: Oh, Carly, I will always care about you. You're an amazing woman. I just look forward to seeing what you can accomplish on your own. I'll sign over the stock to you immediately.

Luke: That was slick. Oh, that was so slick, especially that part about you want the stock for yourself that, you know, you don't want to rely on a man anymore, being your own woman. He bought that hook, line, and sinker.

Carly: Yeah. Looks like it, huh?

Luke: Oh, Caroline. You have always been Uncle Lukeís favorite niece.

Carly: I'm your only niece. And you know what? I got the stock. I did. And I'm going to keep it. I meant what I said. I got this stock for me and only me.

Noah: Ah, jeez! What the hell is your problem?

Robin: You're Noah Drake, the neurosurgeon, right?

Noah: What? That guy is dead. He checked out a long time ago. Why don't you let him rest in peace?

Jason: The surgery could leave me blind or paralyzed or worse. How is that going to help Sam? I am not going to end up a vegetable, ok? I'm not going to live my life like that.

Sonny: I won't let you. I give you my word. I will not let that happen.

Sam: So, what, you'll kill him?

Sonny: If that's what he wants.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Luke: We made a deal. It was my idea.

Carly: Well, now it's my stock.

Robin: I know that you can help my patient.

Noah: I don't save lives anymore.

Robin: And I don't give up.

Jason: I do want you to make this easier for me. Making the offer is one thing. Could you really do it?
