Lucky: Hello?

Elizabeth: Lucky, I'm in a room with a guy named Manny Ruiz.

Lucky: Elizabeth, where are you?

Elizabeth: I -- just listen to me for a minute, ok? The guy took me out of the hospital and now he's lying unconscious on the floor.

Lucky: Get out, Elizabeth. Run.

Sonny: When I offered to let you stay in the guesthouse, I thought I was helping you. But things have turned around, and now you're helping me at your own expense.

Emily: I wanted to be here, Sonny. I still do.

Sonny: I don't like your father, but he's right. It's not up to you to fix my problems, to take care of my kids. You have your own life. You need to get back to it.

Sam: Hey. What do you remember about Robin?

Jason: Just her -- just her face. You said her name -- who are you, the person who goes house to house and makes sure the rule is kept? She did something.

Sam: Robin?

Jason: Yeah. I was yelling, I was furious. Do you know what Robin did to me?

Det. Rodriguez: Stay with Elizabeth. I'll check it out.

Lucky: Ok.

Det. Rodriguez: Police! Nobody move! Spencer, Miss Webber, you better get in here.

Lucky: What, he's gone?

Det. Rodriguez: Looks like he went out the window.

Elizabeth: But that's impossible. He was feverish and he passed out cold.

Det. Rodriguez: Manny probably woke up and realized you'd be calling 911.

Lucky: How bad was he hurt?

Elizabeth: Well, the bullet wound wasn't -- it wasn't that big of a deal. It was the infection that was causing the problem, but he has antibiotics. If he takes them, he's going to be ok.

Det. Rodriguez: I'll put out another A.P.B.

Lucky: Ok. We're going to catch that guy and I swear to you that he's not going to come after you again.

Elizabeth: He wasn't after me. I just happened to be the nurse who walked in to treat him. He wants revenge on Jason and Sonny.

Emily: How big of a threat is Manny Ruiz?

Sonny: Well, I know how he got onto the property. The gardeners were bringing in some firewood. They left the back door open and Manny Ruiz just slipped in. But it's not going to happen again because, you know, it was a one-time thing. I got more guards on my children 24/7. They're going to be safe, but there are no guarantees.

Emily: You could send them away.

Sonny: Do you know how much school Michael missed last year? He's a bright kid. You know, he's working with tutors and they're not going to hold him back, but if he misses any more -- I know this is insane. There's a psycho on the loose and I'm talking about my kids, you know? I want them to be in school.

Emily: Yeah, you want them to have a normal life.

Sonny: Michael loves school. I do not want to take that away from him.

Emily: I understand. I feel the same way. I can't take Carlyís place, but I'm a female relative who loves Michael. I'm not being paid to take care of him. I want to hear about his day, you know --

Sonny: Right.

Emily: And help him with his homework, put together a Halloween costume for him.

Sonny: That is very nice, but you know what? I got -- I got -- Leticia can help him out. I can even help him out. You're going to be a great doctor. I saw you in the E.R., you know, stopping Reeseís bleeding. You are going to save lives. You don't want to give that up.

Emily: Here's something I learned the hard way. Don't make decisions for other people. Tell them what you want or need and then let them make their own choices.

Sonny: What do you want?

Emily: To stay, to go on being a good Godmother/aunt/concerned person in Michael and Morganís lives.

Sonny: It's not going to interfere with your -- your studies, medical stuff and all that?

Emily: It hasn't so far.

Sonny: Ok. Well, I'm going to make sure you're not expelled.

Emily: Sonny --

Sonny: I'm going to talk to the dean of students. I'm going to work out this situation.

Emily: This is my problem. I'll handle it myself.

Tony: Robin Scorpio?

Robin: Who's calling?

Tony: It's Tony. Tony Jones.

Robin: Tony, is everything all right?

Tony: Oh, no, it's fine. Mac and Felicia and the girls are all doing well. Actually, this is a professional call about your research. I was hoping that your approach would work for a patient I'm treating.

Robin: Well, some of the drugs are still experimental, and there are always risks.

Tony: Well, this particular patient doesn't really have a problem taking risks. It's Jason.

Jason: I was yelling at Robin. I -- I think it was her. Her hair was short but her face was the same. I was so mad that I could barely look at her.

Sam: Robin told the truth about Michael.

Jason: Michael? Sonny's little boy Michael?

Sam: Yeah, but he was your son then.

Jason: Can -- can you explain to me?

Sam: I can try, ok? I wasn't around then, but you had explained the whole situation to me when we were searching for Michael last spring. I guess the best place to start is with your brother, A.J. I mean, he's dead now.

Jason: Yeah, right. I saw his picture the first night at the Quartermaines'.

Sam: All right, the way you explained it to me was you and Robin were madly, deeply in love and you were friends with Carly, and Carly had gotten pregnant from a one-night stand with A.J. and around that time, you and Robin had broken up.

Jason: Well, do you know why?

Sam: She couldn't handle the violence in your life.

Jason: Ok.

Sam: Carly didn't want A.J. to know he was the father, so she said that you were.

Jason: And I went along with her?

Sam: Look, when you -- when you told me about it, you said that A.J. was furious and he threatened Carly and Michael and he was going to take him away from her and give him to the Quartermaines like a present -- you know, the first great-grandson of the Quartermaines -- and you weren't about to let that happen.

Jason: So I -- so I lied.

Sam: Look, I wasn't there, Jason, but I would bet money that Carly did most of the lying. You -- you were doing this for Michael, you know? And after a while, it didn't seem like a lie to you. You felt like Michael was your son.

Jason: But he wasnít.

Sam: You told Robin the truth, and I guess you trusted her even though you weren't together. And a little while later, you and Robin had gotten back together and Carly and Robin started fighting over you.

Jason: Well, why, if Carly was just my friend?

Sam: Trust me, you and Carly have vastly different ideas of what friendship is supposed to be, and I can go into hours discussing this, but that's not what matters. Carly wanted you, her, and Michael to be a happy little family, and Robin wasn't going to let that happen.

Jason: And Robin told A.J. he was Michaelís father.

Sam: I don't think that Robin meant --

Jason: I remember the feeling now. Man, it was like getting punched in the stomach. I remember thinking about Michael and how Robin trashed his whole life, and she was just standing there and kept saying she was right. How can I take anything from her?

Courtney: Look, I know the stress makes everything worse but, Nikolas, I have had a miscarriage before. Why would I even consider risking it?

Nikolas: No, don't do that to yourself, ok?

Courtney: Oh, God.

Nikolas: Just relax. It's ok. Ok.

Courtney: You know, this whole time I have been afraid that this was too good to last.

Nikolas: The doctor's here. It's ok.

Dr. Meadows: Hi, Courtney.

Courtney: Hi.

Dr. Meadows: The duty nurse said you've experienced some cramping?

Courtney: Dr. Meadows, I'm afraid that I'm losing the baby.

Courtney: Is the baby ok?

Dr. Meadows: Everything seems fine.

Courtney: Oh, God. Thank God.

Nikolas: Thank you. Well, what happened?

Dr. Meadows: Well, I mean, it could have been anything, possibly a muscle spasm.

[Nikolas laughs]

Courtney: I'm so sorry.

Nikolas: Stop it.

Courtney: I completely overreacted.

Nikolas: No, no.

Dr. Meadows: No, no, no, it's perfectly understandable. Listen, you had a previous miscarriage; you're afraid it'll happen again. But stress and fear affect your body, which means it will affect your baby.

Courtney: Don't worry. Really, I mean, I plan to embrace Zen, ok? I am going to reach a whole new level of calm and serenity.

Dr. Meadows: Well, I am sure your baby will appreciate that. Keep taking the prenatal vitamins that were prescribed, and I will call you as soon as the results of the paternity test are in.

Nikolas: Ok.

Dr. Meadows: Ok? Take care of yourself.

Courtney: Thank you so much.

Dr. Meadows: Ok, you're welcome.

Nikolas: Doc? Thank you. Thank you.

Dr. Meadows: You're welcome.

Courtney: Hey. Uh, thank you for putting up with me, ok? Look, just this whole time, I have had a hard time believing that this is really happening.

Nikolas: Well, I am taking you home to Wyndermere. I'm going to build a huge fire, you're going to lie back, put your feet up, and drink warm chamomile tea. And then I'm going to read to you from the book of Aeneid.

Courtney: What -- isn't that Latin?

Nikolas: It's -- exactly. Well, the Ancient Romans -- they loved it, but it's guaranteed to put the modern listener to sleep in less than five minutes.

Courtney: Oh, nice. That sounds good, but there's something that I have to do first.

Robin: How long since the onset of symptoms?

Tony: Well, my best guess was that it was in May. Jason literally can't remember, and his girlfriend didn't realize he was having headaches until they became full-blown seizures in early August.

Robin: So I'm assuming he won't even consider surgery?

Tony: He refuses to discuss it. Now, I've got him on tricetophin, but the medication is losing its effectiveness.

Robin: Have the seizures come back? Any dizziness or nosebleeds?

Tony: Jason says no. He claims that he can manage his headaches.

Robin: Well, that doesn't mean anything. I mean, Jason can be hurt or in pain and just keep ignoring it until he keels over. Um -- ok. Uh, could you e-mail me his file? Just include all the test results, please?

Tony: I thought you would never ask.

Robin: I'm not promising anything.

Tony: I understand that. Mac gave me your e-mail address and I'll get the file to you as soon as possible.

Robin: Tony? How is Jason otherwise? Is -- is he happy?

Tony: Oh, Robin. I'm the wrong person to ask. Jason seems content. He's been with Sam for a year now. I guess she doesn't mind his work.

Robin: Well, that's what Jason needs -- somebody who won't judge him or tell him what to do. And if Samís that person, I'm glad that they found each other.

Sam: Mac Scorpio said that you and Robin were deeply in love. Jason, you told me the same thing.

Jason: What happened to Michael?

Sam: What do you mean?

Jason: Well, you said I was like Michaelís father until Robin told the truth, and now Sonny's his father. How did that happen?

Sam: Ok, all right, I don't know all the details. There was this huge custody fight and everything was horrible and ugly, and you chose to stay out of it because you didn't want Michael to hurt.

Jason: But he was already hurt.

Sam: Probably.

Jason: Because of what Robin did, right?

Sam: Part of, but not because. Jason, Robin told the truth. Whether it was for the wrong reasons or not, she told the truth and that's all -- you know what? None of this really matters.

Jason: Yeah, it does matter because that's all I remember about her.

Sam: Robin Scorpio could have the cure for that thing that is in your brain! I don't care if she is an angel or a lying snake as long as she can make you well!

Jason: Is that what Dr. Jones said? Were those his words -- "make you well"?

[Knock on door]

Lucky: Jason! Sam, it's Lucky. I need to speak with you.

Jason: Who's Lucky?

Sam: He's a cop, he's a family friend. Please just let him in. Don't slam the door in his face.

Lucky: What can you tell me about Manny Ruiz?

Sam: He's a psycho. Why?

Lucky: Because he took Elizabeth from the hospital and made her tape up a bullet wound. Elizabeth got away but he kept making threats against you and Sonny.

Sonny: All I know about Manny Ruiz is what I read in the paper.

Det. Rodriguez: I noticed you have a lot of guards on duty.

Sonny: My children are home, you know? Make sure they're protected.

Det. Rodriguez: Ruiz grabbed a nurse from the hospital, took her back to his room, made her tape up his gunshot wound.

Sonny: She ok?

Det. Rodriguez: Elizabeth got away when Manny collapsed. She called for help, but by the time we got there, he was gone.

Sonny: Elizabeth Webber?

Det. Rodriguez: Lucky said you know her.

Sonny: Did Manny -- did he just target her or did he just grab the first nurse he saw?

Det. Rodriguez: We think it was random. Now, Manny has focused on you and Jason Morgan. We'd like to search your place of business.

Sonny: You tell John Durant that Manny Ruiz is everyone's problem, and if he wants to search my property, get a search warrant. Now, you need to get out of here because I've got a place to be.

Courtney: Hello, God. It's me, Courtney, asking for yet another favor. I'm not sure I deserve one right now. I mean, I played a large part in breaking up two marriages, one of them my own. And still, you gave me this miracle. This baby is everything that I have been praying for. And I am just asking you, please help me not to mess it up. I mean, I got the paternity test because I think --

[Door opens]

Jax: Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt.

Courtney: No, I'm actually glad that you're here. Jax, I really want to try and make things right between us.

Alan: Emily's spread herself so thin. I wish she'd made better choices, but unfortunately --

Emily: Dean Ryan, thank you so much for agreeing to meet with me.

Alan: I was just telling the dean that you're spending so much time taking care of little Michael that your studies have suffered.

Emily: My father is lying.

Dean Ryan: That's a serious allegation.

Emily: I requested an extension because I was hospitalized with a stab wound. I provided medical documentation at the time.

Alan: But it didn't stop you from checking out of the hospital too early, running back to Sonny's, and risking your life to take care of the children.

Emily: I understand that my father is worried, but I'm shocked that he's willing to jeopardize my medical studies. He and my mother are the reason I want to be a doctor. I was 11 when my birth mother died of breast cancer. That's when I first saw the limits of medicine. Alan and Monica taught me it's important to know when to put away the tests and charts and simply hold a patient's hand, to help with medical knowledge and also with compassion. That's what I'm trying to do for Michael and Morgan, two little boys who have temporarily lost their mother. Yes, it's a strain, but I'm better for helping them, dean. It hasn't and it won't interfere with my studies.

Sam: Manny broke in and hid in the apartment waiting for the best time to show himself.

Lucky: What, is it like a game to him?

Sam: Yeah, pretty much. He wants us to come after him. He wants us to be afraid. How's Elizabeth?

Lucky: He didn't hurt her. She said all he cared about was getting his wound fixed.

Sam: Well, you know, I'm actually --

Jason: We don't -- we don't know where to find Manny.

Lucky: You wouldn't tell me if you did. Listen, Manny Ruiz is a psycho and all he cares about is terrorizing women. If you're planning on tracking him down and killing him, good for you.

Sonny: Elizabeth Webber working tonight?

Nurse: She went home early.

Sonny: Is she ok?

Nurse: She sounded fine when she called in.

Sonny: Ok, thank you.

Nikolas: What happened to Elizabeth?

Sonny: Talk to your brother.

Nikolas: I'm asking you.

Sonny: A psycho named Manny Ruiz took Elizabeth from the hospital --

Nikolas: What?

Sonny: So she could tape up his bullet wound. He let her go, but --

Nikolas: Wow, it never stops with you, does it, Sonny? First your crazy ex-wife nearly kills Emily. Now one of your business associates kidnaps Elizabeth. That's --

Sonny: Manny Ruiz is a freak who should be put down like a dog. I did not bring him here.

Nikolas: Maybe not, but your business did, Sonny. I mean, isn't this how it works with you guys? One of you kills the other one and then takes over his territory? Is that how it works? And I guess that would all be fine if no one innocent got hurt, but Emilyís taking care of your kids, Sonny.

Sonny: So now you're worried about Emily? Where was your concern months ago? You were too busy banging my sister --

Nikolas: Oh, come on.

Sonny: To worry about your wife who had been raped?

Nikolas: How can you talk about your own sister like that?

Sonny: You want me to say it nicer? Like "make love"? Is that how you talk about sex with Courtney, and she buys it because she's so vulnerable?

Nikolas: I honor Courtney, unlike yourself.

Sonny: You deserted your wife, seduced my sister. You have no honor.

Alan: I don't want her expelled. I want her to be a doctor. But more importantly, I want her to live.

Dean Ryan: I sympathize with your position, Dr. Quartermaine, but it isn't fair to Emily or the faculty to misuse academic regulations to try and police your daughter's behavior. Emily, consider yourself reinstated.

Emily: Thank you, Dean Ryan.

Dean Ryan: Your records indicate you're an excellent student. I hope that continues.

Emily: Thank you.

Dean Ryan: Good day, Dr. Quartermaine.

Alan: I suppose you expect an apology?

Emily: We're never going to agree on this, dad, and I don't like fighting with you. I love you. I understand that you want what's best for me, dad. That's what I want for Michael and Morgan. They're missing their mom like I missed mine. You and Monica -- you saved me. And you gave me love; you gave me a family. All I'm doing is following your example.

Courtney: Look, I realize now that I wanted a baby just as much as you, if not more.

Jax: You know we both started with the same goal. Then the surrogacy happened, and -- well, I definitely went a little overboard.

Courtney: Well, look, hey, I'm just -- I'm trying to take the share of responsibility here, you know?

Jax: Ok.

Courtney: I -- we both rushed into it, Jax. It was my idea just as much as it was yours.

Jax: Yeah. I'll always remember Elizabethís child, the child who might have been. I definitely learned something, you know. My father gave me lots of love and patience. And that I want to pay forward. I want to give to some child, you know, a little of what was given to me. And I don't want to wait. I don't want to put off fatherhood until someday.

Courtney: Good for you.

Jax: Yeah, I don't know if adoption is the right thing, but I'm willing to -- you know, to look into it. If it's the only way, then so be it.

Courtney: Well, you know that my foundation -- I mean, they specialize in child placement. If you need a referral or a reference --

Jax: I'll know who to call. Right.

Courtney: Jax, thank you -- I mean, for hearing me out.

Jax: Yeah. You know, I'm hoping that one day we can get to the point where we don't have to start off each conversation with an explanation or an apology.

Courtney: Yeah.

Jax: I'll see you.

Courtney: Ok. God. I know, I know. He deserves to know that I might be carrying his baby, but Jax wants a baby so bad, it would just -- it would be so cruel to disappoint him.

Nikolas: How can you talk to me about honor, Sonny? How many times did you cheat on your wife? How many times did you cheat on your wife before you finally drove her insane?

Sonny: Well, that's questionable. I know what I've done. I can carry it the rest of my life, not like you. Something gets inconvenient, you walk away. Your wife gets raped, you sleep with somebody else, and if that woman happens to be married, you lie to her face, tell her, "Hey, you know what, I need you, you're good for me," anything to get her back in bed.

Nikolas: You really did crawl out from the gutter, didn't you?

Sonny: Yeah, I'm not like you. I'm not like the prince. You have all the lines. Emily bought them, Courtney bought them, and now she's pregnant!

Nikolas: Would you keep your voice down?

Sonny: Yeah, we don't want Jax to know. You know, I never had use for Jax. I used to call him the candy boy because he was sweet on the surface, and any time any kind of trouble came, he would melt. But he's even more standup than you.

Nikolas: No, no, wait, wait. You hold on. You hold on, Sonny. What, are you saying that Courtney was wrong to leave Jax? Are you saying that she's a home wrecker? A slut? Because this appears to be the labels that you're putting upon your sister. You're saying that she -- she doesn't fit your concept of a good woman. Courtney chose to be with me. Now she's pregnant, and you're a hypocrite for judging her because of it. She is a good, compassionate, loving woman. Even if this baby isn't mine, Sonny, I'm staying with her.

Sonny: Well, maybe that's your secret because you believe the lies you tell. But trust me, as soon as Courtneyís ankles swell and she doesn't give you what you need, you're going to dump her just like you dumped Emily.

Jason: Ok, we know Mannyís injured. We know that he needs a place to rest and hide.

Sam: I don't care about Manny.

Jason: Well, you should care about Manny, because he knows the worst way to hurt me is by hurting you. He's coming after you and I'm going to make sure you're safe.

Sam: Jason, don't I get to do the same thing? You are getting sicker by the minute, whether you want to admit it or not. And you could have a seizure or a blackout at any time. And guess what, you won't be able to fight Manny, much less move!

Jason: Well, I'm not going to be able to move if I have surgery, either. For how long?

Sam: Ok, then you know what? We'll leave. We'll run. We've got money in the safe --

Jason: We've tried this, Sam.

Sam: We've got passports. We will go. I don't care.

Jason: You know that can't happen.

Sam: Why? Because your headaches will keep coming and the medicine will run out? Because you would rather stay here and fight Manny than him finding us in two months when you're helpless?

Jason: Look, I didn't -- I didn't choose to be sick. I can only choose how to deal with it.

Courtney: Please, God, help me be a good mother. Help me put my child first. And whatever regret I may feel or whatever I wish I had done differently, just help me put it behind me. Just please, please don't let my bad choices hurt my child.

Nikolas: Stop blaming yourself unless you're going to blame me, too.

Sonny: What are you doing up, champ? Did you bring your brother downstairs?

Michael: Yeah, well, he started crying. He would be -- he would be very happy for a picture of mom.

Sonny: Did you ask Leticia?

Michael: She said no, but I -- after she went back to her room, I brought him down anyways.

Sonny: Ok, I appreciate you taking care of your brother, but you have to obey Leticia.

Michael: I'm too old for a nanny, and this --

Sonny: Ok, listen to me. I don't want to start with this -- every time that we --

Michael: Ok, you said you would be able to see mom.

Sonny: Right.

Michael: You haven't taken us yet, and we can't even call her.

Emily: That's not your dad's fault, sweetie. The doctors at Roselawn want Carly to rest. Ok, I know it's hard, but you have to be a little bit patient and give your mom some time.

Michael: Ok.

Emily: Ok. And speaking of time, it's so late. You and Morgan should both be in bed asleep, and you're not even in your pajamas yet.

Sonny: Emily's right. You go upstairs, you get yourself situated. I'll go up and tuck you in.

Michael: Ok.

Sonny: Ok?

Michael: Ok.

Sonny: Give me a kiss. All right. Thank you.

Emily: Yeah. This is hard on Michael. He needs lots of reassurance, huh?

Sonny: Well, you know --

Emily: And lots of discipline. Because he's strong-willed, very good at getting his own way.

Sonny: Just like his mommy.

Emily: Michael acts exactly like you, Sonny, and since you happen to be very good at giving orders --

Sonny: That means he's -- he's going to be just like me? Is that what you're saying?

Emily: Well, yeah. He wants to be just like you.

Sonny: Well, I hope he grows up to be better than me. Ok, you ready?

Morgan: Yep.

Sonny: Give me your hand. Help your daddy upstairs.

[Emily laughs]

Sonny: Ow. There you go. Not so fast, buddy. All right.

Morgan: There's lots of stairs up here.

[Sonny laughs]

Max: Hey, Emily.

Emily: Yeah?

Max: This came for you today.

Emily: Hey, thanks, Max. I was wondering when this was going to get here.

Max: Enjoy.

Sonny: You brush your teeth?

Michael: Yep.

Sonny: Do your homework?

Michael: Yep.

Sonny: "Yep, yep." And you miss your mama. Ouch. I miss her, too.

Michael: Well, when is she coming back?

Sonny: The doctors haven't told me yet.

Michael: Oh. Can Emily stay till then?

Sonny: You like Emily here?

Michael: She's nice, and Morgan doesn't miss mom as much when she's around.

Sonny: Well, Emilyís going to stay here as long as she can. And she's going to help us out, and we're going to all help each other out.

Michael: And then mom will come back.

Sonny: And then mom will come back. Come over here, man. Not too tight now.

Michael: I know.

Jason: Manny is the immediate threat. What's wrong with my head can't hurt you.

Sam: I love you, you know that? Even when I completely disagree with you, which I do right now. You know, we'll just -- I don't know -- we'll figure this thing out.

Jason: Yes.

[Phone rings]

Sam: What if it's Manny?

Jason: Ok, answer it. Just keep him on the line, ok? I'm going to get on this phone.

Sam: Ahem. Hello? Hello, who is this?

Lucky: If I had lost you today --

Elizabeth: Oh -- but you didnít. As crazy as it sounds, being grabbed by Manny reminded me just how fortunate we are. We're alive, we're in love, we have a beautiful, healthy little boy asleep in the next room. Sometimes when bad things happen and you come through it, makes it easier to savor the good.

Lucky: You are the good. You're my everything.

[Train whistle blows]

Elizabeth: Do you hear that?

Lucky: My heart pounding?

Elizabeth: No, the train whistle. The first train I ever took was to Port Charles. And two days later I met you. The whistle is a promise of wonderful things to come.

Lucky: Like our wedding.

Elizabeth: Yeah, just like that.

Courtney: Jax was right here. You know, I had the perfect opportunity to tell him, and I -- I just couldn't do it.

Nikolas: All right, Courtney, this is probably going to sound a little selfish, but --

Courtney: Please, join the club.

Nikolas: Look, I'm grateful that you told me that you were pregnant. I am. But, the two of you have hurt each other enough. Why add to it by letting him hope for the one thing he wants the most and then take it away from him?

Courtney: Unless Jax is the father.

Nikolas: Even if he is, I already told you, it's not going to change how I feel about you. I didn't turn to you because I couldn't be with Emily. I didnít. You are the one I want to be with.

Courtney: You know, when we're alone like this, it just feels so right.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Courtney: And I want the baby to know that, too. I really want the baby to be yours.

Nikolas: But it doesn't matter. That baby's part of you. And because of that, I'll love it just the same.

Sam: Is this a wrong number? Hello? Look, you need to say something or I'll hang you up. Ok, last chance.

[Dial tone]

Sam: Ok, that was definitely not a wrong number.

Jason: Yeah, they were on the phone way too long.

Sam: And it was probably Manny, and I should have told him that I wish I would have killed him instead of just shooting him in the --

Jason: I don't think it was Manny. He would have said something. He wants you scared.

Sam: Who else would call and stay on the line and not say anything?

Jason: Someone who changed their mind.

Sonny: You got some wedding plans you forgot to mention?

Emily: Ok, right. It's -- it's Elizabethís.

Sonny: The big surprise wedding. Ouch.

Emily: Yeah, her -- her dress is going to be delivered here tomorrow. I hope that's ok.

Sonny: You can bake a cake in the kitchen if you like.

Emily: Oh, no. I already ordered it from Andretti's. I'm a little worried about how they're going to get it over to Spoon Island.

Sonny: I hope the water's not rough that day.

Emily: Yeah.

Sonny: So how'd it go with the dean of students?

Emily: Everything's fine. I explained the situation, and the dean saw for herself when my father started to make his argument, so --

Sonny: Alan was there?

Emily: Yeah, it was good. Not that we came to a meeting of the minds or anything, but my dad knows I still love him. I just won't let him bully me into living my life to suit him.

Sonny: So, you're going to stay?

Emily: I'd like to.

Sonny: It's not going to interfere with your, you know, studies, or anything like that?

Emily: I can handle both.

Sonny: Good, good. Because my boys, you know -- and I -- need you.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Nikolas: This party is going to be spectacular.

Elizabeth: This isn't what I pictured. I can't get married in this.

Sam: All you have to do is go in for some more tests.

Jason: I have to deal with Manny first.
