Sonny: If, God forbid, Carly caused another accident or hurts someone, it will prove to me that I can't help her, and I will have her committed.
Sonny: Oh, Carly heard me. Hold on. Carly? Carly, don’t.
Jesse: I got to get Maxie.
John: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Down, boy.
Jesse: You just told me that's Javier Ruiz, enforcer for the Miami Mob.
Javier: Port Charles is a charming town.
Maxie: I guess. I've lived here all my life, so I think I kind of take it for granted.
Javier: Well, then you must know all the sights -- art museum, a war memorial.
Maxie: A carousel, the concerts in the park, the best doughnut shop -- yeah.
Javier: See that? You're just the person I need. Is there any way that I could convince you to be my tour guide for the next few days?
Jesse: Ruiz isn't here on vacation. You said yourself he's probably in town to avenge his brother's shooting.
John: Like I said, Sonny Corinthos is about to catch a bullet, and nobody is going to do anything to stop it. Understood?
Nikolas: You still feeling dizzy?
Courtney: I just -- I just need to get my sea legs back -- or my land legs or whatever you call them.
Nikolas: I know we spent a lot of time in the water today, but do you really think this is just a reaction from surfing?
Courtney: Well, it's either that or food poisoning.
Courtney: I know one thing for sure, I'm definitely not pregnant.
Lucky: Maybe I'll take my own personal day tomorrow. I've been working a lot of double shifts. I'm sure I can find someone to cover. Maybe we can take Cameron to the park for a picnic tomorrow, at least before the weather turns.
Lucky: Elizabeth? My God. What happened?
Elizabeth: Something's wrong with the baby.

Carly: Just stay away from me.
Sonny: I'm -- I'm not coming close. I just want to talk to you.
Carly: No, I heard what you said.
Sonny: I'm not trying to hide anything from you, Carly.
Carly: You want me locked up.
Sonny: No, I'm trying to protect you. That's why I want you to stay with me. And I want to protect the people you care about.
Carly: You want me sent away.
Sonny: No, that's not true, and you know it.
Carly: Reese wants me sent away! I don't know why -- why you can't see that. She wants you to send me to doctors. You can't believe her, Sonny.
Sonny: I'm trying to help you. You're in a bad place right now, Carly.
Carly: I'll get better.
Sonny: I know. You don't think I know what it feels to be in a dark place that you can't see anymore? But what happens is you start becoming a danger to the people you love. Remember how you took care of me? Remember how you protected me from myself? You don't think I wanted you to stop me from hurting somebody?
Carly: Oh, God. I ran out in front of a car. There was a car crash. It was my fault.
Sonny: No, it's not your fault.
Sonny: Listen, listen -- there was an accident. Nobody was hurt. The only harm that was done was to Jax’s car.
Carly: But -- but you're mad at me. You want me locked up, Sonny. You think I should be locked up, don't you?
Emily: I think Carly needs more help than Sonny can give her, but he's not ready to accept that. I'm worried about both of them.
Reese: Have you talked to Sonny about this?
Emily: I've tried but, you know, Sonny's very protective of Carly and, I don't know, I feel like I'm intruding.
Reese: Well, now you know why I can't say anything. Sonny and I are at the start of our relationship. I can't very well give him advice about his ex-wife.
Emily: Carly stood by him when he was going through his own breakdown, and Sonny's determined to do the same thing for her.
Reese: Well, Sonny's life is threatened by the fact that he's focusing so much attention on Carly when he really should be focusing his intention on the people that shot up his house. It's not even registering the kind of danger that he's in.
Emily: How bad is it?
Reese: The Ruiz crime family wants to expand their business here in Port Charles, so they sent Manny to negotiate with Sonny.
Emily: And Manny started by shooting up the house.
Reese: And when that failed, he agreed to meet Ric in the park.
Emily: And Jason shot him.
Reese: And now the Ruiz family have sent somebody else to settle the score -- Javier, Manny’s brother, who is even more deadly than he is. And Jason is the only one who's equipped to deal with this threat and he doesn't want to have anything to do with it.
Emily: Well, you can't blame Jason. He's lost his memory.
Reese: Javier Ruiz is ruthless. And if Jason can't find a way to protect Sonny, I will.
Maxie: You don't need a tour guide. There's this bookstore down the street, they have these little tourist pamphlets --
Javier: No, no, come on, the tour books are so impersonal. And besides, I rather enjoy your company.
Maxie: Thanks, but I can’t.
Javier: What if I throw in dinner at your favorite restaurant?
Maxie: I told you I have a boyfriend. Jesse.
Jesse: I need to see your I.D., sir.
Javier: May I ask what this is regarding?
Jesse: "Julio Guevara." This looks altered. Got to take you downtown for questioning, Mr. Guevara.
Courtney: You know I can't get pregnant. That's why Jax and I had Elizabeth be the surrogate for the baby.
Nikolas: Yeah, yeah, I know. I was just wondering if you might've caught a bug or something, that's all.
Courtney: Right. Sorry, I don't even know why I said that.
Nikolas: I'm sure it's never far from your thoughts.
Courtney: I just don't want you to think that I obsess about it.
Nikolas: I didn’t. It'd be all right if you did, anyway.
Courtney: It's just when Jax and I first decided to start a family, I don't know, it just seemed so simple, as if loving each other and the baby was enough. And I guess a lot of it was just wishful thinking on my part, you know, wanting to believe that there was an easy answer.
Nikolas: I know I've already told you this before -- Jax is the one who handled it badly. He completely ignored you and he tried to micromanage Elizabeth’s life.
Courtney: Well, it's over now.
Nikolas: Yeah. I mean, the whole point of the surrogacy to begin with was to give you and Jax a child, right? Well, somehow during the breakup, you got pushed out of that. Your chance to become a mother basically vanished without any input from you, and you get to have feelings over that, you know?
Courtney: You know, Jax thinks that I didn't want the -- I didn't want the baby, but I did.
Nikolas: I know you did. And you would've made a great mother.
Courtney: Hmm. So what about you?
Courtney: Do you want children?
Nikolas: No, not really.
Lucky: Elizabeth is in a lot of pain. She's having some cramps and there's some blood.
Lucky: Dr. Meadows? The paramedics are here so, listen, I'll call you when we get to the hospital.
Paramedic: What happened?
Lucky: She fell.
Paramedic: How many weeks pregnant?
Paramedic: Any medications, allergies, medical conditions?
Elizabeth: Please, baby, be ok. Please, baby.
Carly: Please, please, honey, don't be mad at me.
Sonny: I'm not mad at you, Carly. It was an accident. I know that. You were confused. You were just trying to get away from me and your father.
Carly: No, I wasn't trying to get away from you; I was just trying to get away from my father.
Sonny: I understand that, but you need to calm down. You got to let me help you.
Carly: Sonny, please, I've been to Shadybrook before. Please, it's a horrible place. I can't go back there.
Sonny: I know it was bad for you. I know it was bad for you!
Carly: Please, please, just, I'm begging you; please just don't send me to Shadybrook. I just don't -- I don't want to be committed. Please, I'm just asking you, please.
Sonny: I promise.
Carly: Yeah? Yeah? You mean, I can -- I can stay here with you and the boys?
Sonny: Anything you want.
Sonny: Yeah? Ok? Ok? Come on. There you go. There you go. Sit down. You get some sleep, ok? Huh?
Sonny: All right.
Emily: I just got a call. Elizabeth's been taken back to the hospital. She might be losing the baby.
Dr. Meadows: We've given you medication to slow the cramping.
Lucky: Hey, how you doing?
Elizabeth: I feel a little better.
Dr. Meadows: I'm going to the lab to run the tests myself. Try to relax.
Elizabeth: Easier said than done.
Dr. Meadows: I'll be back.
Lucky: Well, I called Jax and Emily.
Elizabeth: Ok, thanks. I'm scared, Lucky. I'm really scared.
Lucky: Let's -- let's not try to think ahead, ok? The baby's probably fine.
Elizabeth: I just can't believe that I ever considered not having this child.
Lucky: You were giving me a way out.
Elizabeth: We've both been through so many ups and downs with this pregnancy, you know? Wondering if I should even do it at all, making an arrangement with -- with Jax and Courtney, dealing with their breakup, deciding on joint custody. But through it all, I realized that I really -- I love this baby. I want to have this baby. I want it to be raised by our family, by us, with Cameron as a big brother.
Lucky: It'll happen, Elizabeth. This baby will be born.
Nikolas: Well, you know, Emily wanted kids, and I would've given them to her. I just -- you know, I told you before that my family's crazy on a good day. I mean, they bring new meaning to the word "dysfunctional," and I just always thought it would be irresponsible for me to have children.
Courtney: Yeah, but you can't make that kind of assumption, Nikolas.
Nikolas: Well, you know, they say what it boils down to is nature versus nurture. Well, that makes my family 0-2. I mean, my uncle, you know, he loved me in his own way, but he also wanted to control me and my inheritance. Even with benign intentions, Cassadine parenting includes mind games and manipulation.
Courtney: Ok. But, you know, Nikolas, you are the polar opposite of everything you just described.
Nikolas: Yeah, but who knows what's lurking in my genetic mix, you know, and I'm just not sure I want to take that chance.
Courtney: But, you know, everybody takes a chance when they decide to have children.
Nikolas: I just -- I believe that a child has the right to the best of you, and I just don't think you should bring children into this world just to make yourself happy. I think you owe it to them to offer them both love and stability. I'm just not sure I can do that.
Courtney: Look, I understand everything that you are saying, I do, but you couldn't be more wrong.
Javier: Your girlfriend's sweet.
Jesse: Yeah, right this way, Mr. Guevara.
Javier: You're wasting your time.
Jesse: Maybe. Still need to run your prints and photo through the computer.
Javier: You picked the wrong way to impress the girl.
Jesse: Was that a threat?
Javier: Just a fact.
Jesse: Yeah. Have a seat.
Jesse: Hey, I need all outstanding warrants on Javier Ruiz -- parking tickets, anything you can dig up. Thanks.
Maxie: Jesse, what are you doing? I know you didn't arrest that guy because he was hitting on me.
Jesse: Like I said, his I.D. is fake.
Maxie: How do you know?
Jesse: Because his real name's Javier Ruiz. He's an enforcer for the Miami Mob.
Javier: Your officer brought me in on trumped-up charges.
John: Yeah, all right, I know, rookies -- what are you going to do, huh? Sorry about that. Have a seat.
Javier: Well, you could release me immediately. I may not file a complaint.
John: Whoa, whoa, slow down there, Mr. Ruiz. For openers, you were carrying around a false I.D., you're an enforcer for a Miami crime family, and, I don't know, but it's my hunch that you're in town to kill Sonny Corinthos.
Javier: I'm a simple tourist. I'm in town to see the sights.
John: Yeah, well, that may be, but the law says I can hold you up to 48 hours, and I'm sure in that time I can find something to charge you on. Or I could simply extradite you back down to Florida and I let them deal with you.
Javier: I'm a law-abiding citizen. I think you'll find there are no outstanding warrants in my name.
John: Well, then, I'd have to let you go, right?
Javier: That going to be a problem?
John: You know, in most circumstances, absolutely, but I assume that you're here to avenge your brother, which means you're going to try to kill Sonny Corinthos. And if you succeed, one less mobster, right?
Reese: How's Carly?
Sonny: Sleeping. She was exhausted.
Emily: I'm going to the hospital to check on Elizabeth.
Sonny: Ok. I know it's difficult for you, and I don't want to put any more pressure on you, but you cannot tell anybody that Carly caused that accident.
Emily: Ok, if this is how you want to handle it.
Sonny: I just -- you know, she's going through a lot. I just want to protect her.
Emily: Yeah, then we'll just hope for the best.
Sonny: If Elizabeth needs anything, anything I can do for the baby --
Emily: I'm sure Jax has taken care of everything.
Sonny: Thank you.
Emily: I'll call you from the hospital and tell you how Elizabeth and the baby are doing.
Reese: You all right?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.
Reese: You don't look fine.
Sonny: Um -- things are going to get better.
Reese: Will they? Sonny, I see you being strong for everyone else, taking everything on your shoulders, being loyal and compassionate. But I think you're losing sight of how much danger you're in.
Sonny: No, I'm ok. I'm ok.
Reese: You're protecting the people around you, but what about yourself? Javier Ruiz is a stone killer and he will pursue you relentlessly until he avenges the shooting of his brother.
Sonny: I got everything under control.
Reese: Do you?
Reese: Jason won't help. He acts like he's not even involved.
Sonny: You spoke to Jason?
Sonny: Well, what --
Reese: I asked him to do one last job for you, for all of us. I told him that you two were like brothers, but he just didn't remember that. Nothing got through to him.
Sonny: Well, it must've taken a lot, you know, you were an F.B.I. agent and you're asking somebody to kill somebody, so I mean --
Reese: Sonny, please, don't ignore this. Javier Ruiz is in Port Charles now and he's just waiting for the opportunity to kill you.
Sonny: I just want you to stay out of it.
Reese: It's too late!
Sonny: It's not too late! I don't want to see you get hurt or compromise yourself like you did with Jason.
Reese: Sonny, I am with you. Look at me. I am with you no matter what.
Courtney: I'm sorry, but I just don't buy into the whole messed-up childhood argument as a reason not to have kids.
Nikolas: Well, bad parents set bad examples.
Courtney: Yeah, but what, what, so their children are bound to follow in their footsteps? I mean, come on. What about Sonny?
Courtney: No. Shut it! Seriously, I mean, he had a difficult childhood. He had an absent father, an abusive stepfather, he got into a life of crime an early age, and --
Nikolas: Yeah, and he's still in it, Courtney, so --
Courtney: Yeah, but Nikolas, he is also a committed parent who values his family above everything. Really, I mean, look, he has carved out a good life for those boys.
Nikolas: I don't know if I'd go that far.
Courtney: Look, I'm not saying that having children is for everyone, ok? I'm just saying that your family history doesn't mean that you're predestined to be a bad father.
Nikolas: Really? Even if that genetic tendency is towards pathological lying and cold-blooded murder?
Courtney: Don't make fun of this. Come on. Ok, so you had a horrible upbringing but, look, Nikolas, you are one of the most open and emotionally honest people I have ever met. And I think -- no, scratch that -- I know that you would be a great dad. What?
Nikolas: You got all worked up when you sat up there.
Courtney: Well, I did, didn't I?
Nikolas: Are you still dizzy?
Courtney: No. You know what, the queasiness is gone. I guess it must have been too much fun in the sun after all.
Dr. Meadows: I've given Elizabeth medication to ease the cramping. She's resting comfortably now.
Emily: What are the chances she'll stabilize?
Dr. Meadows: Well, it's too soon to know.
Jax: So it was the car accident? That's why the baby's at risk?
Dr. Meadows: It may have been a contributing factor. I'll be back to check on her.
Lucky: Thanks for coming.
Emily: How's Elizabeth?
Lucky: She's worried, but we're just trying to stay hopeful. I thought you might want to spend a few minutes alone with her.
Jax: Yeah, yeah. Thanks. Hey.
Jax: Well, you look a little better.
Elizabeth: Well, the cramping stopped. I guess that's a good sign.
Jax: Yeah, that's a good sign. It's a sign that you and the baby are both healthy and well.
Elizabeth: From your lips to God's ears.
Jax: Well, you know, the baby's got a good set of genes -- a tough-and-ready Aussie and the luck of the Webber Irish.
Elizabeth: Well, when you put it that way --
Jax: If you think I've been a pain in the neck up till now, you haven't seen anything yet. Wait till you get out of this hospital. I'm going to hire a full-time staff to wait on you hand and foot, and I'm not taking no for an answer. For what you're giving me, Elizabeth, it's worth it. You ok?
Elizabeth: Yeah, this -- this medicine just makes me feel really cold.
Lucky: Every time I think about that idiot running out in front of Jax’s car, I see red.
Emily: Maybe it was an accident, Lucky.
Lucky: They stepped into the road without even looking. That's no accident. They should be held responsible. Elizabeth is in there scared to death, fighting for her baby's life. Because of why? Because some fool running out in front of Jax’s car?
Emily: No, that --
Jax: We need a doctor.
Lucky: What? Elizabeth? Elizabeth? Hey.
Sonny: It's good to have you back, Max. Um -- things are going to get rough. I'm going to need you to step up.
Max: Hey, you can count on me.
Sonny: I'm going to go to the hospital. I want to check on Elizabeth Webber, all right? If Carly wakes up, all you got to do is calm her down and you call me on the cell phone.
Max: Yeah, you got it.
Sonny: You need to double the security. I mean, it wouldn't make sense that Javier Ruiz would come after me like his brother did in my own home, but we have to be prepared for anything.
Jesse: Look at that -- two pages of crimes Javier Ruiz allegedly committed but was never convicted of.
Maxie: Murder, assault, kidnapping. My God.
Jesse: Yeah, the Ruizes are a powerful crime family. They turn him loose anytime they want to send a message.
Maxie: He seemed nice. You know, I thought he was just flirting. What is it with me that all the pervs and freaks just target me?
Jesse: You were just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Jesse: He's staying at Kelly’s. You just happened to be there, too. He saw a beautiful girl and decided to strike up a conversation.
Maxie: Yeah, and I bought it. I thought he was normal, you know, really well-dressed, but I guess the worst wack jobs are, right?
Jesse: Just be careful, ok? Guys tend to notice gorgeous, sweet-faced blonds.
Maxie: Are you speaking from experience?
Jesse: I'm the guy that took one look at you in the hospital and decided to trust you, remember?
Maxie: Yeah, the one time my instincts were correct. Look, I promise that I'll have my criminal/perv radar up and running at all times, ok?
Maxie: Just get that creep shipped off to somewhere where he can't hurt anyone.
John: Nice work, Beaudry. You went directly against my orders, you busted Ruiz way too soon, you compromised any case we might build against him, and now I got to let him go.
Jesse: Nothing's compromised. We watch him, and the minute he crosses the line, we bring him in.
John: The man is a professional killer. He knows how to dodge us while he's making his moves.
Jesse: You've already decided that?
John: The man is smart. He's like Sonny Corinthos. He's assumed to be a lot of things that nobody has ever been able to prove. If he does have warrants against him, he wouldn't be able to walk around. Now you have gone and blown it by tipping him off that we are on to him!
Jesse: You don't want to catch this guy, do you?
John: I'm the D.A.
Jesse: And you just agreed to turn your back while Ruiz kills Sonny Corinthos.
John: You do not want me to consider you a problem. You shut your mouth, you do your job, or you start looking for another one.
Courtney: Oh, my gosh. I feel fine.
Courtney: You know, the queasiness is gone.
Nikolas: Good, good, good.
Courtney: Oh, thank God. You know, there is a salsa band in the lounge if you want to go dancing.
Nikolas: Are you sure you want to go?
Courtney: Well, maybe we could stay in bed a little longer.
Lucky: We got her to the hospital right away.
Jax: Yeah, yeah, Dr. Meadows gave her the medication she needed, so --
Lucky: Elizabeth is a fighter and she loves this baby and it's going to be ok.
Dr. Meadows: I'm sorry.
Jax: She lost the baby?
Jesse: Durant went in to talk to Ruiz. 10 minutes later, he's released. Then Durant comes out and tells me I'm at fault.
Mac: If it's any consolation, I would've done the same thing in your shoes.
Jesse: Durant is giving a thumbs-up to a bloodbath. He wants Ruiz free to eliminate Sonny Corinthos.
Mac: Look, the Ruiz family wants payback for Manny Ruiz’s shooting.
Jesse: Yeah, exactly. So we know what we're looking for. We can catch this guy.
Mac: Ruiz will be under surveillance -- by somebody else.
Jesse: But this is my case.
Mac: No, your case is the campus pervert who's slipping roofies to girls and taking naked pictures of them.
Jesse: I can handle both cases.
Mac: I put you undercover on the university. You can't blow this, Jesse. I need you to find proof to nail Dillon Quartermaine.
Jesse: Assuming he's guilty?
Mac: We have evidence against him. He had the opportunity. Now, Maxie and Georgie both were slipped roofies and it's blind luck that Dillon didn't do the same to them that he did to Brook Lynn, taking naked pictures of them and who knows what else.
Jesse: I'm on it. I'll keep your daughters safe, sir.
Mac: You better.
Carly: Who's there?
Sonny: Hey. How's Elizabeth?
Emily: I was just getting ready to call you.
Sonny: She lost the baby?
Emily: Elizabeth doesn't know yet. She was unconscious when it happened.
Sonny: She's doing all right?
Emily: Dr. Meadows thinks so. Everything's normal, if you can call a miscarriage normal.
Sonny: Was it a boy or girl?
Emily: Dr. Meadows didn't say. Elizabeth had a feeling it was a little girl.
Sonny: Mothers usually know, yeah. Carly did with -- with our son who, you know, she lost when A.J. threw her down the stairs. She knew it was a boy. She was further along than Elizabeth. She was about five months pregnant and they had to take the baby to save Carly’s life, and I remember I was the one that had to tell Carly that our child was lost and gone, you know, so I'll never forget that look on her face. She would not wish this pain on anyone. You know that. She didn't mean to do any of this, right?
Emily: No, of course she didn’t.
Sonny: It was Durant. She couldn't get away from him. You know, she was trying and, you know, he's a bastard. I don't know why he treats his daughter that way, ok? He wants to use her for revenge, tried to get her locked up. He just left her!
Emily: How was she when you left?
Sonny: Uh -- she's good. She's sleeping. The guards are, you know -- they're not going to let her get out, so -- man, I'm sounding like a warden keeping her prisoner. I just don't know what else to do. And I know what you're going to say to me.
Emily: No, you don’t. Here, sit down. It's not your fault that Carly’s having a nervous breakdown or that her father tricked her into leaving the house. All you've done since this started is try to take care of Carly.
Sonny: And now Elizabeth lost the baby.
Emily: Think about what she needs, Sonny. Think about the best way to help her. And think about what you just told me. Carly wouldn't wish the pain of a miscarriage on anyone. She doesn't know what she's doing. She needs you to make the right decisions for her.
Sonny: That's what she did for me. She knew that I wouldn't make it if I was locked up, so she covered for me until I got better.
Emily: Sonny, Carly’s not getting better.
Dr. Meadows: Elizabeth passed out due to blood loss.
Lucky: How is she now?
Dr. Meadows: Well, she's stable. She should be regaining consciousness soon.
Jax: So she doesn't know that she lost the baby?
Dr. Meadows: Not yet. I assume one of you will want to tell her.
Jax: Ahem. She's going to need you, Lucky.
Lucky: You're the baby's father.
Jax: Ok, so how do we handle this?
Lucky: We'll tell her together.
Elizabeth: Lucky. Is the baby ok?
Jesse: Hey. So Javier Ruiz is back on the streets. Had him in custody less than 30 minutes.
Maxie: He's going to come after you for arresting him.
Jesse: Cops deal with that kind of thing every day.
Maxie: Yeah, but you're dealing with this because of me and I wish I never talked to him.
Jesse: It's not your fault that he approached you.
Maxie: I know, but I just feel like a dope for being so naive.
Jesse: Maxie, you're beautiful. If I tried to save you from every guy that tried to hit on you, I'd have a full-time job on my hands.
Maxie: Would that be so awful?
Jesse: Not really. In fact, you think about it, it's all in the line of duty.
Maxie: So, what, you're only spending time with me because it's your job?
Jesse: Hmm, it's ok. I've been enjoying every minute of it.
Maxie: Me, too.
Sonny: Hey. How's Carly?
Reese: She was sleeping when I left. You didn't call, so I assumed you'd still be waiting to hear --
Sonny: Elizabeth had a miscarriage.
Reese: I'm so sorry.
Sonny: That's what people always say when something bad happens. But it's not really what you mean -- "I'm so sorry." But I know that you're sad for Elizabeth and her loss and everything, but you can't really feel sorry if you weren't responsible.
Reese: Neither were you.
Sonny: Well, Carly was living at my house. I didn't watch her like I should, so --
Reese: Don't blame yourself, Sonny.
Sonny: Well, who am I going to blame -- Durant?
Sonny: I mean, he wouldn't have had access to Carly if she wasn't living at my house. Sometimes I think, you know, she's hit rock bottom, she's going to turn the corner, and she's -- she's going to realize what good there is in her life. But now she causes an accident, you know, Elizabeth’s baby is gone. Even if she comes out of this nervous breakdown or whatever, you know, the guilt is going to pull her right back in.
Reese: Not if she has doctors to help her.
Sonny: Ok, but that's what Emily said to me in her own way. She -- she thinks I should have Carly committed and, you know, maybe she's right.
Reese: There are better facilities out there than Shadybrook.
Sonny: But I was never committed when I should've been because Carly would not allow that. So, you know, I mean, I'll never forget the first time. You know, I barely knew her. She was married to A.J., she was jerking Jason around, she came into my house. Everything was busted up because I broke everything that I could break. She was so scared. But she did not back down. I hated Carly. I called her every name in the book. She stood by me. She probably saved my life. I'll ask you, how can I commit somebody, right, how can I give up on Carly when she never gave up on me?
Carly: Sonny? Oh, God. Anybody? Oh, God.
Nikolas: Emily? What? Oh, my God. How -- ok, thank-- thanks for calling.
Courtney: Hey. What's wrong?
Nikolas: Elizabeth lost the baby.
Elizabeth: Why aren't you saying anything? What happened? The baby's ok, right?
Jax: Elizabeth, I'm sorry, but --
Elizabeth: Ok, you're really scaring me. Will one of you please just tell me what's going on?
Lucky: The baby's gone.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Elizabeth: I need to know. Was it the car accident?
Nikolas: We need to get back.
Courtney: I can't go back.
Emily: She's out of control. You no longer have a choice. You've got to have Carly committed.
