Dillon: It's a hospital, for God's sake. You'd think we wouldn't have to wait for test results.

Georgie: It hasn't really been that long.

Dillon: Yes, but it's not like the tests have to go to a lab or something where we have to wait around. You know what? I'm going to go over to the cafeteria or --

Georgie: Dillon, Dillon --

Dillon: What?

Georgie: Relax. I'm feeling so much better.

Dillon: Well, excuse me if that doesn't make me feel better. You almost passed out at Kellyís. I had to bring you to the hospital. You stayed overnight.

Georgie: Dillon, Dillon, I just got a little dizzy. It's ok.

Dillon: Yeah, and why? Why? That's my question.

Georgie: Come here. It could be a lot of reasons. It could be flu, stress. It's ok.

Dillon: Or?

Georgie: Or --

Dillon: Maybe you --

Georgie: What? Dillon, you think I'm pregnant?

[Phone rings]

Maxie: Hi, handsome. Hello? It's you, isn't it? Ok, no problem. I'll do the talking. Look, I think that I owe you an apology. I mean, who am I to judge you, right? I don't even know you. I mean, you could have probably just been dumped on your whole life and you're mad about that. I can understand that. Let me prove to you that all women aren't horrible. Why don't you meet me at the Pizza Shack, 8:00, and it'll be closed, you know. We can get to know each other. Will you be there?

Man: Yes.

[Knock on door]

Jesse: Maxie? It was him again, wasn't it?

Sonny: Sam?

Sam: Finally.

Sonny: Miami took a lot longer than I expected. How's Jason? What's going on?

Sam: He's been arrested. Durant sent a couple of uniforms in to take him in for questioning and, Sonny, he just exploded. He knocked them out so fast they didn't even see it coming. I was standing right there. I didn't see it coming.

Sonny: I told you he pulled a gun on me.

Sam: I know, I know. I'm really worried about him. He doesn't remember who he is, he doesn't remember who we are, and it gets Ė

Ric: How is she?

Reese: I keep bracing for her to hurl a sofa. She's scary crazy, Ric. She needs to be locked up.

Ric: Yeah, well, that's not our call. Sonny's already made his position very, very clear.

Reese: Well, Sonny is wrong. She needs a lot more help than any of us are equipped to give her.

Ric: I know that.

Carly: I know you're talking about me. Say it to my face, why don't you?

Ric: We're just discussing how we can keep you safe, Carly, until Sonny gets back.

Carly: Oh, safe. That's supposed to be a joke? Huh. You both don't care about my safety. You want to hurt me.

Ric: No, that's not true, Carly.

Carly: Oh, then explain keeping me hostage.

Reese: We're hiding you here so nobody throws your butt into Shadybrook.

Carly: No, you know what you're doing? You're waiting to turn me over to the cops. But you know what? It's not going to happen --

Ric: Carly --

Carly: No, because I'm going to find Sonny and I'm going to tell him what exactly you're up to and he's going to stop you cold.

[Pounding on door]

Lucky: Open up! It's the police.

Dillon: Ok, think. When have we been spontaneous? You know?

Georgie: That one time in the park. Oh, you just looked so cute with all the leaves in your hair and --

Dillon: Hey, hey, hey.

[Dillon snaps his fingers]

Dillon: Just the facts, ma'am. I mean, we were careful, right? We were.

Georgie: Yeah, Dillon, we're always careful, but there's no guarantee -- Macís going to kill me.

Dillon: No, no, you're going to have time to run while he's killing me first.

Bobbie: Your blood work is back, but I'm afraid I have bad news.

Dillon: Give it to us straight. Come on.

Bobbie: There were traces of rohypnol in your system. Now, that's the same drug that was slipped to your sister and Brook --

Georgie: Thank God. Thank --

Bobbie: What do you mean? You're happy about this?

Dillon: No, no.

Georgie: No, no.

Dillon: It's terrible, it's horrible.

Georgie: It -- it could have been worse.

Bobbie: Well, yeah. I suppose you're right. I mean, you didn't get enough to cause any serious damage, but I still have to report it, so I'm going to do that now.

Georgie: Ok.

Dillon: Oh. Huh.

Georgie: Dillon, it's just starting to hit me -- that guy targeted me.

Dillon: Yeah, but how and where? That's --

Georgie: Where?

Dillon: Well --

Georgie: Dillon, anywhere I had something to drink -- the school cafeteria, Kellyís -- you know, when you order something to drink, you just kind of order it and drink it. You don't think if some loser tried to tamper with it.

Dillon: Clearly, it's time to start.

Maxie: You know, not every call I get is from you or a pervert.

Jesse: You're avoiding the question.

Maxie: Yeah, I am. I mean, every woman is entitled to her secrets, especially if they make her boyfriend jealous.

Jesse: Now, some sicko's out there drugging girls, stripping them naked, and doing God knows what to them before snapping a few pictures to slip under dorm room doors. You were this guy's first victim. When did you stop taking this seriously?

Maxie: When did you start being all about this case? You know what they say -- all work and no play -- and that's a shame, because you're such a fun guy. What's that?

Jesse: I signed up for a bunch of photography classes. I'm hoping to get a lead on anyone suspicious. Unfortunately, I actually have to pass a class in order to stay in the room, and I know nothing about photography.

Maxie: Well, what's to know? You just aim and fire, right?

Jesse: Why does everything sound flirtatious with you?

Maxie: Because I'm hot for your bod.

Lorenzo: Miami is what I'm calling about. I've arranged a second meeting. I'll fill you in the details when it's done.

Diego: Hey, take it easy! I've got the settings where I want them.

Lorenzo: Diego, what are you doing here right now?

Diego: Oh, that's a nice way to welcome your son.

Lorenzo: Look, I'm reconsidering about bringing you into the family business. I want you to have a full college experience. That means living on campus.

Diego: Look, I don't like my roommate, ok? He's an undercover cop. No, don't worry. We don't discuss your business. It's not like I have anything to contribute, right?

Lorenzo: As it should be.

Diego: Oh, come on, pa. Look, school's a bore, ok? Let me work for you.

Lorenzo: Get your education first.

Diego: Look, whatever I can learn, I can learn from you.

Detective: Evening, Mr. Alcazar.

Lorenzo: Nobody called the police.

Detective: We have a warrant.

Diego: What for?

Detective: We're looking for Carly Alcazar.

Lorenzo: Well, you won't find what you're looking for here.

John: You didn't have Carly committed to Shadybrook. You just made it look that way, right? Well, the jig is up. You want access to your boy Jason; you give me Carly so I can get her the help that she needs.

Sonny: Carly doesn't want your help, Durant. Can't you get that through your head?

John: Oh, what, so she's going to be better off with you in, what, your perfect little world, which this year so far, what -- had three of your children kidnapped, your son traumatized. He's convinced that he killed his real father. Carly just went careening over the edge into a mental breakdown, and that's wiped out what's left of Jasonís little bit of brain matter that he has. You're not the cure, Corinthos. You are the problem, and I'm not going to leave my fragile daughter to your insensitive mercies. No Carly, no Jason. You want to make a deal, you know where to find me.

Sonny: I hate that guy.

Sam: Yeah, who doesn't? You have to give Durant what he wants.

Sonny: No.

Sam: Jason needs your help, Sonny.

Sonny: If Carly goes to Shadybrook, it will kill her.

Sam: And what Jason has could kill him, except he would really be dead, and we're not talking about a matter of a few lost memories here. The doctors think that Jasonís condition is terminal. And without the proper help, he could die. He could have surgery, but it's really risky.

Sonny: Ok, is surgery the only option?

Sam: They're trying to avoid it with medication, and I know that I can get Jason to take it. But Durant is keeping me away. You are the only one who can help, Sonny. Please take Durantís deal. I am not ready to lose Jason. Are you?

Ric: I still don't get how you think that we can help you, Lucky.

Lucky: We have reason to believe that Carly is on the grounds.

Ric: Really? I thought she was in Shadybrook.

Lucky: Sure, you did.

Reese: That's what we were told.

Ric: Yeah, and Reese and I really aren't in the loop.

Lucky: It's funny, you're in the house. Listen, go check upstairs. You can cut the stall. Carly's never been in Shadybrook and she never was.

Ric: Well, she's not here either, Lucky.

Lucky: We'll see. Where's Sonny? No, wait, don't tell me. You have no idea.

Max: I'm sorry, Ric. They wouldn't let me tip you off.

Ric: It's not a problem, Max.  Satisfied?

Reese: We told you. Carly isn't here.

Ric: I guess we're about to find out who Carly trusts more, us or the cops.

[Door opens]

Lucky: [Sees Carly] I've already checked this area, so why don't you go and check the grounds in the back.

Detective: Place looks clean. No sign of Carly.

Lorenzo: Well, perhaps you'd like to check under the furniture just to be sure.

Detective: You think this is something to joke about?

Lorenzo: It amuses me. The truth is this is the last place Carly would come if she were in trouble. Now, if you gentlemen are done interrupting my routine, I have business I need to attend to.

Detective: If Carly shows up, you'd be wise to give us a call.

Lorenzo: I'll do better than that. I'll deliver her to Shadybrook myself.

Diego: Ooh, ooh, ooh! Wow. Remind me not to get on your bad side.

Lorenzo: I don't want them coming back here to search again.

Diego: Sure.

Lorenzo: And don't think you're going to change the subject on me.

Diego: Subject?

Lorenzo: Your renewed eagerness to get involved in the family business.

Diego: Oh.

Lorenzo: Yeah -- "oh." Instinct tells me this has something to do with a young lady -- probably blond?

Jesse: Am I keeping you from something?

Maxie: Um -- no. Why would you ask me that?

Jesse: You checked your watch.

Maxie: No, I didnít. I was just letting the part of my brain that has the "stop" button prevail for once. I just -- I don't think this is a good idea.

Jesse: You came up with it.

Maxie: I got a little carried away.

Jesse: Well, I like it when you take the initiative.

Maxie: I'm serious, Jesse. It would be our first time and it can't be here.

Jesse: Well, what's wrong with here? It's your home for the time being. And that bed looks comfortable enough.

Maxie: But, see, it's not home. It's my dorm room that I share with Brook Lynn, which gives her the right to barge in here whenever she wants. It's also the dorm room my parents pay for, which makes them think they have the right to barge in whenever they want, and Mac already walked in on us once when we were about to do it. I would rather not relive that experience. Besides, we have dorm rules.

Jesse: Since when do you care about rules?

Maxie: Jesse, no, I canít.

Jesse: Ok, Maxie, why don't you tell me what's really going on?

Dillon: I got to find Jesse.

Maxie: See? Proof.

Dillon: Oh. Hi. You're here.

Jesse: What's wrong?

Dillon: Georgie.

Lucky: I left Carly alone because she's my cousin and family ought to count for something.

Sonny: I understand that. I'm not saying it doesnít. I'm just -- am I allowed to be grateful?

Lucky: I'm going to hold off Durant as long as I possibly can, but Carly needs serious help. You better get it for her before it's too late.

Ric: We got out of that.

Carly: Oh, Sonny, thank God you found me. They were holding me hostage to turn me over to the cops, but Lucky wouldn't go for it.

Sonny: Listen, I need you to go upstairs, ok? I'm going to be right there in a second. Everything's going to be fine. Go upstairs. Just rest. Just rest, ok? Ok?

Sonny: Could you just watch her, please?

Reese: Sure.

Sonny: Ok. Lucky bought us some time, but Durant -- he's not going to give up.

Ric: Well, what does he want?

Sonny: Carly for Jason.

Ric: Oh. Well, of course, it makes sense to Durant and his twisted point of view.

Sonny: I can't do it.

Ric: Ok. We'll handle it, ok? We'll do something else. What happened in Miami? Did you get any leads on what Alcazar is up to?

Sonny: He met with Hector Ruiz.

Ric: That's not good, Sonny.

Sonny: Yeah, something's going down, ok? And Alcazar is behind it or in on it or whatever it is, you know what I mean?

Ric: Where are the boys?

Sonny: I asked Emily if she would take the boys to Metro Court.

Ric: Ok. All right, listen. You're not going to like hearing this. You're not going to like this idea, but Carly may not be as safe here as you think. There's no love lost between her and Alcazar. He's not going to hold back just because she happens to be around, so you got to make a decision and you're going to have to make it quick.

Brook Lynn: Hey. I didn't see you come in.

Seth: Occupational hazard. A resident advisor tends to be a cross between a campus pal and campus cop.

Brook Lynn: So what are you tonight?

Seth: Well, hungry, thirsty. Typical male. Can I get you a soda?

Dillon: For some reason, Georgie didn't get a full dose, so nothing bad happened -- yet -- but you got to realize this guy needs to be stopped soon.

Jesse: Oh, gee, no, I didn't, but thanks for cluing me in.

Maxie: Dillon's right. This guy needs to be stopped. What are you going to do?

Jesse: I'm going to take a look at Georgieís test results, ask a few questions. Will you be ok?

Maxie: Yeah. Dillon's going to be here with me.

Dillon: I will?

Maxie: Yeah. You promised. You didn't forget, did you? He's probably just pretending he forgot. He promised he'd help me sort out ancient civilization. You're not backing out, are you?

Dillon: No, no, I wouldn't dream of that.

Maxie: I'll be here.

Jesse: Ok, I'll call you later.

Maxie: Ok.

Dillon: How about those wacky Aztecs, huh?

Maxie: Thank you for going along.

Dillon: With what, Maxie?

Maxie: The perv called again, and he agreed to meet me.

Dillon: I'm not hearing this right now.

Maxie: Look, the plan is that I'm going to show up alone, except I'm not really going to be alone because you're going to be in the bushes filming everything.

Dillon: Yeah, and Jesseís going to jump out and arrest him, right?

Maxie: Not exactly.

Dillon: You didn't tell him. Of course not. What was I thinking?

Maxie: I'm going to tell him, Dillon, when the time is right.

Dillon: I'm going to use a word that you probably don't hear that often, but I'm going to say it anyway. No, I'm not doing this, and neither are you.

Diego: There might be a girl. So what?

Lorenzo: So you're not going to enter into the family business to impress a woman.

Diego: God, anyway, that's not all of it, ok?

Lorenzo: Let me be straight, Diego. You're in college to develop the intellect and skill to lead an honest, legitimate life, a good life.

Diego: A boring life. What's wrong with yours?

Lorenzo: Everything. But this is what I've chosen to do, so wise up and learn from my mistakes, all right? That's my meeting. Do you mind leaving by the terrace?

Man: Hola. Como estas?

Lorenzo: Bien, bien.  Bienvenido. And you are?

Man: It's Carlos, my bodyguard. He don't have to be in here, but I want him right outside.

Lorenzo: Hmm, I have no objections. Please, sit.

Man: You just finished negotiations with my father.

Lorenzo: Mm-hmm.

Man: What's so important that I'm in Port Charles two hours later?

Lorenzo: I have major concerns.

Man: I thought they were addressed.

Lorenzo: Humor me. Convince me we're on the same page.

Man: What are your concerns?

Lorenzo: That if we're going to expand the Miami operation by absorbing Sonny's northern territory, we need to move slowly, with precision and care, and your people tend to be reckless. If the overall goal is to succeed, we need to proceed with caution.

Man: I'm down with that.

Lorenzo: Good, because I know this man, you donít. And even without his enforcer, Jason Morgan, Sonny can be -- dangerous. So we move on my timetable, no surprises, no violent overthrows. Go back to Miami and you wait for me to start the clock. Clear?

Man: Claro. Is that all?

Lorenzo: Yeah. Just thank you again for coming.

Carlos: I guess we're on hold now.

Man: Not a chance. We move tonight as planned.

Carly: You ruined my life. You told everyone that I seduced your precious father.

Reese: For what it's worth, Carly, I'm trying to have a better understanding of what really happened between you and my father.

Carly: You know what? It's worth nothing, because you don't mean it. They're just words. Nobody means anything they say. They're just words, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You want me gone. You know it and I know it.

Reese: Come on.

Carly: And you know what the thing is? I don't go down easy. So I'm either going to stop you or I'm going to get you gone first.

Sonny: Carly?

Carly: Oh, good.

Reese: The situation is not improving.

Carly: Sonny, you always come when I need you.

Sonny: Ok, you know what? You need to just lay down for, you know --

Carly: You're the only one I have left. I don't have anyone, not even Jason. He pretended not to know me. But it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter, because I know that you won't let me down.

Sonny: It's ok.

Maxie: Turn around!

Dillon: Why?

Maxie: Dillon, I don't have time to argue, ok? Just do it.

Dillon: Ok, you realize this whole thing is crazy, right?

Maxie: If we involve Jesse, he's going to try and tackle the first guy who talks to me.

Dillon: Which will be the guy you green-lit on the phone, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Maxie: I'll have you know strange men try and engage me in conversation all the time.

Dillon: Shocking.

Maxie: Ok. You can turn around. Look, we can't be sure, ok? But if we catch the perv on film, then we can give the evidence to Jesse and he can tail the guy and catch him when he's putting the pill in the next girl's drink.

Dillon: No -- I don't like -- too many variables.

Maxie: Dillon?

Dillon: Ok?

Maxie: I'm going to do this with or without you.

Dillon: Yeah? Not if I tell Jesse what you're up to.

Maxie: What are you going to tell him? You don't know where I'm meeting this guy or when. Dillon, all you know is I am on this list of things to finish for this guy, ok? He has drugged Brook Lynn, he's involved my sister -- your girlfriend -- and I want to have a hand in taking him down. Don't you?

Dillon: Yes, but --

Maxie: Good, then it's settled. Yay. Ok, the Pizza Shack, 8:00.

[Music plays]

Seth: You know, if you're trying to study, the campus library is a lot quieter.

Brook Lynn: You know what? I'm pretty good at tuning out background noise. Besides, I like it here. Look, college is just not my thing, ok? I'm only going so that my parents get off my back.

Seth: I sort of figured. You haven't been around very much.

Brook Lynn: Oh. How would you know that?

Seth: I'm a fan?

Brook Lynn: Ok.

Seth: Look, I'm like the world's biggest music freak. I spend hours on the internet searching for new music and I was lucky enough to surf on to your website one night.

Brook Lynn: Ah. No, no. Come on, I thought that was dismantled.

Seth: I'm glad it wasnít.

Brook Lynn: Oh.

Seth: I downloaded a song.

Brook Lynn: My only song.

Seth: It was amazing.

Brook Lynn: I'm glad you liked it.

Seth: Like it? I listen to it all the time. I just can't wait to hear more.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, about that, I'm just -- I don't know if there's going to be any more because my brilliant music career kind of got sidetracked.

Seth: Do I know him?

Brook Lynn: He's not really worth mentioning -- trust me. I don't -- I don't even know what I was thinking.

Seth: You probably werenít. That's what love is about.

Brook Lynn: No, no, no, no, hey. No, I was not in love --

Seth: Mm-hmm.

Brook Lynn: No, seriously. Come on, I wasn't in love with him, all right? It was more like temporary insanity. No, look, ok -- I used to know who I was and what I wanted, but now I'm just -- I'm struggling with all of that again. It's insane.

Seth: Well, then college is a good thing, then. It's a safe place to find yourself.

Brook Lynn: Yeah. I'm actually not feeling very safe these days.

Seth: Well, that sounds like my cue to offer to walk you back, hmm?

Brook Lynn: Oh, look, I -- I wasn't -- I wasn't hinting.

Seth: Well, I'm going there. So are you. What's the big deal?

Brook Lynn: Ok.

Seth: All right.

Brook Lynn: Yeah.

Sam: I happen to agree with you, you know.

John: Oh. Well, that's a first. How did I rate this rare concession?

Sam: Sonny and Jason avoid doctors like the plague, especially psychiatrists. And I think that if Carly could get the help she needs, that she could get better just as Jason would.

John: Hmm. And how did I know that it would somehow get around to him?

Sam: Well, Jason is unaccountable for his actions the same as Carly is, but the only difference is without medication, Jason may die.

John: Well, I'm sure that Sonny's told you my conditions.

Sam: Do you honestly think you're going to score points with your daughter by letting Jason die? All I'm asking is for you to let me give Jason the pills that he needs.

John: Such fire. You know, it's too bad it's wasted on Jason.

Sam: I love him and I would die for him. Can you say the same about anybody in your entire miserable life?

John: The answer may surprise you. All right, look, why don't you use some of that passion to convince Sonny to put Carly into my care and I promise you, I will see to it that Jason gets his medication.

Sam: Ok. If you're playing with me, if you withhold these pills from Jason and something happens to him, don't turn your back on me.

Ric: So what it boils down to is that Durant is holding Jason hostage.

Reese: It just never ends, does it? There's always somebody ready to take advantage of any weakness Sonny has.

Ric: Yeah, well, he doesn't have many. Sonny's made very sure of that. But be prepared. If things go the way you want to with him, you'll qualify as a weakness someday, too.

Lorenzo: I need to see Sonny.

Max: Would you like him removed?

Ric: No, it's ok. Sonny's busy.

Lorenzo: Yeah, I don't doubt it. In her present condition, Carly must be quite a handful.

Reese: What makes you think Carlyís even here?

Lorenzo: Yeah, I find this so fascinating -- a former F.B.I. agent and a former D.A. stonewalling for a mob boss. Ric I can understand -- the shunted-aside younger brother desperate for attention and approval, but you? I thought you'd be tougher to crack.

Reese: Well, why don't you mind your own business? Or don't you have any since Carly dumped you?

Lorenzo: I'm surprised you're taking such a superior tone, Agent Reese. You took the same path as Carly -- from an occasional night in Sonny's bed to becoming a fixture in his home, this place where he managed to convince women that they're royalty when all they really are is the new flavor of the month, the next cheap contender who are willing to trade their dignity and morals for a hop in the sack.

Carly: You know me better than anyone.

Sonny: Yeah, I do. Come on, come on.

Carly: You loved me.

Sonny: Yeah, I do. I do love you. Sit down.

Carly: So then what -- what happened? Why -- what was the -- do you know what happened?

Sonny: What, Carly?

Carly: You know what? Never mind, because you know what, Sonny? We could get it back. All we have to do is claim it. If we could claim us --

Sonny: What, Carly? What do you mean?

Carly: You don't want that. Do you?

Sonny: Carly, you don't --

Carly: No, you don't want that. You're like everybody else.

Sonny: You don't know what you're talking about right now, Carly. That's what's happening.

Carly: No, no, this is --

Sonny: No --

Carly: It was all a setup. You wanted Jason to turn me away so I would come to you, and then you wanted Ric and that bitch to hold me hostage and wait for you to come back --

Sonny: No, no.

Carly: To put me away. You wanted to put me away yourself, Sonny.

Sonny: That's not true.

Carly: Why did you --

Sonny: That's not true.

Carly: Want to put me in that horrible place? Why do you want to put me there -- to punish me?

Sonny: No.

Carly: Well, what, to get you -- get me out of your hair? Well, you don't know -- you don't know what -- what it's like.

Sonny: Yes, I do know what it's like, Carly! You feel like the whole world is against you. There's nowhere to go, no one to trust. Everybody you think is trying to help you is actually hurting you the most. You're in darkness -- sinking, suffocating darkness. I've been there, Carly. I know that place intimately well. I almost got lost there and you -- you did not let that happen. You pulled me back, right? And you didn't let me go till I found a reason to wake up in the morning, to make an effort to breathe. You taught me that life matters and that it -- it's worth fighting for. But sometimes you need more.

Carly: What are you saying, Sonny? Are you giving me up?

Lorenzo: Well, that's some heated defense for a woman who's supposed to be a mere colleague.

Ric: What do you want, Alcazar?

Lorenzo: I have a warning for Sonny.

Sonny: Too late. Enemy's already here.

Lorenzo: Well, you have my sympathy. I understand Carlyís in bad shape.

Sonny: Yeah, and I understand you made that happen. Thanks. Say your warning and leave.

Lorenzo: I was just in Miami. I got wind of trouble blowing your way.

Sonny: What else is new?

Lorenzo: You're welcome.

Sonny: Goodbye.

Reese: Ok, what was that all about?

Sonny: Just what he said -- something's about to go down.

Reese: What about Carly?

Sam: I need to talk to you, Sonny.

Sonny: I know what you're going to say, Sam -- you want me to give Carly up to Shadybrook. I can't do that, not even for Jason.

Reese: I don't think you're doing Carly any favors, Sonny.

Sonny: Look, I --

Reese: She's getting worse, not better.

Sonny: I just need more time to spend with her, ok? And I know I can get her into a better place.

Sam: You're fooling yourself, Sonny.

Sonny: Ok, I know shrinks work for some people. That's -- that's fine. But last time Carly was in Shadybrook, she was terrorized, she was drugged. That place is like poison to her.

Ric: Sonny, there are other facilities. I can make some calls --

Sonny: No, I can't --

Ric: I can pull some strings --

Sonny: They're all the same, Ric. I can't abandon Carly. She didn't do it to me; I can't do it to her. Jason would agree with me, and you know that.

Sam: Carly is not the only one who has saved your life. Jason has always been there for you. He has taken bullets for you, he has risked his life for you, and now he's in trouble, the worst I have ever seen. I am not going to give up on him and I'm certainly not going to let you give up on him, either.

Jesse: What are you doing?

Dillon: Nothing, just -- I'm setting up to tape something for school.

Jesse: Hey, what happened to Aztec ruins with Maxie?

Dillon: Oh, you know, I remembered I had to do this and I'm actually running late to tell you the truth. Somebody's waiting to be taped.

Jesse: Why so nervous?

Dillon: Because there's a lot riding on this, and like I said, I'm late already, so I'm going to go ahead.

Jesse: Ok -- oh, whoa. First, Maxieís acting all weird and evasive, now you. What's going on?

Dillon: Nothing.

Jesse: Maxie wouldn't be up to something, would she? You know, like maybe hitting some hot spots, putting herself out there as bait for the perv while you try to get him on tape?

Dillon: You are really good -- not 100% right, but really good.

Jesse: Come on, Dillon, this is serious stuff. Maxie may be walking into trouble she can't walk out of. He called her again, didn't he?

Dillon: She's meeting him at Pizza Shack tonight. I'm getting it on tape.

Jesse: When?

Dillon: 10 minutes.

Jesse: Ok, you need to understand something -- come within 10 feet of the Pizza Shack and I'll arrest you for obstructing a police investigation.

Brook Lynn: Maxie? So, my roommate's out. That's a good thing.

Seth: Yeah? Why is that?

Brook Lynn: Oh. Maxie and I have issues.

Seth: Let me guess -- you both like the same guy.

Brook Lynn: No -- the same guy kind of likes us, but I'm not so interested. Listen, thanks for walking me over.

Seth: Look, you don't think that I'm pathetic for going on and on about your wonderful voice, right?

Brook Lynn: Are you kidding me? No. I'm seriously flattered.

Seth: And I'm honored to have gotten a glimpse of you that very few others have seen.

Brook Lynn: So, what about you, huh? What are you keeping under wraps?

Seth: I'm an open book -- not a very interesting one, I'm afraid. I'd say my biggest quirk is probably putting mustard on my fries.

Brook Lynn: Right, well, I'm sure there's a lot more to you than that, right?

Seth: Hey, I -- I got to go finish my rounds, so I'll see you later, ok?

Brook Lynn: Yeah, sure.

Seth: Ok?

Brook Lynn: Ok.

Georgie: You're not going to believe this. Mom and Mac are going to do the same thing to me that they did to Maxie.

Dillon: Which is what?

Georgie: Send me to an all-girls' school in Texas.

Dillon: What?

Georgie: Yes. Dillon, they think it's going to make me safer but, Dillon, I'm going to be in hell!

Dillon: Don't -- don't worry. They're not sending you anywhere. I'm not going to let it happen.

Georgie: Oh, and how are you going to accomplish that?

Dillon: Well, do you think your parents would change their mind if the perv got caught?

Georgie: Maybe.

Dillon: Well, I think the time is upon us because Maxie set up a date with him and she's about to go meet him. I was supposed to get it on tape and then Jesse interrupted. Anyway, if I have anything to do with this guy getting caught, your parents will think I'm great.

Georgie: Well, Dillon, don't leave me here. I'm invested.

Dillon: Let's go.

Georgie: All right.

[Leaves rustle]

Jesse: Ah!

Maxie: Hello?  I'm here. You know, this would be a lot easier if I knew your name. If you're not going to show your face, then I'm out of here.

Maxie: You -- you came.

Lorenzo: I want to be informed the minute Ruiz gets on a plane. Gracia.

John: Well, for a man who just got back from Florida, you don't look very tan. Well, is it bad weather or you just spend a lot of time behind closed doors?

Lorenzo: What's your point?

John: I've got some interesting information for you -- oh, it's nothing you probably don't know already, but we've had some tourists in town today. Yeah, real flashy ones -- you know, white suits, bright shiny shirts, sparkly diamond rings -- Miami lice.

Lorenzo: Hmm.

John: No, the streets were crawling with them. Next thing you know, whoo. Suddenly, they vanished.

Lorenzo: Well, hopefully they left Miami cash. The Port Charles economy can use the influx.

John: Yeah, oh, yeah. Well, I'd say there's a 50% chance that they'll be back. Of course, that would depend on whether or not their business is concluded or it's just getting started.

Sonny: I'm going to make sure that Jason keeps getting his medication that he needs.

Sam: Yeah, and I appreciate that. Sonny, I want him out of jail.

Sonny: Well, I understand that, but that means you want me to throw Carly in jail and throw away the key. I can't do that. Look, jail may be the safest place for Jason right now.

Sam: How could you possibly say that?

Sonny: Well, because --

Carly: Which one -- which one of you called them?

Sonny: Called who, Carly?

Carly: The shadows, the men in black. They're coming after me.

Sonny: Carly, no one is out there.

Carly: Stop lying to me. I -- I saw them. They're running and hiding, carrying gun

Sonny: Carly --

Max: They're everywhere.

Sonny: Everyone down!

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Jesse: Try to get away and I use this.

John: It's my job to squash annoying pests.

Sam: Oh, no.
