[Knock on door]
Mac: I know you girls are in there. I want this door opened now.
Maxie: One second, dad. Hurry. Hurry, hurry, hurry. Oh, sorry.
Mac: Maxie, Georgie, what the hell is going on in there?
Alan: Carly isn't qualified to be in charge of a television remote.
Monica: You may not be aware of this, but Carly has a rather unfortunate history with General Hospital.
Luke: It all started when she flunked out of nursing school.
Alan: Allow me to tell you why she flunked out. She was too busy seducing her stepfather to pay attention in class.
Lorenzo: Carly's talents lie elsewhere.
Alan: Hmm. I'll bet.
Lorenzo: She has drive and energy to spare, she's extremely persuasive and very single-minded when she commits to something. And for those and other reasons, I want her to head up the hospital's charitable endowment.
Tracy: When hell freezes over my dead body.
Sonny: It's been a bumpy road, I admit that, but Carly and I are finally doing our own thing.
Jason: Sonny, what's going on with you? You can't see what's happening? The signs are all there. Carly has convinced herself that Reese is out to take everything that belongs to her. I'm just saying she sees Reese as a threat, and you know better than anyone what happens when Carly feels threatened.
Sonny: Are you saying that I should protect Reese from Carly, Jason?
Mac: What's going on?
Mac: You're supposed to be in your room resting. And I look out and I see the light on in the garage attic, and here you are behind a locked door. So don't tell me nothing, because I know better.
Georgie: Dad, we were just, you know, catching up.
Maxie: Oh, no, I'll tell him the truth, but you have to promise in advance not to go postal.
Mac: You're not off to a good start.
Maxie: Well, you want honesty, right? And you're probably not going to like this, but you have to understand that Georgie and I are old enough to make our own choices.
Mac: Wow, well, that's quite a buildup. I can't wait for the explanation.
Maxie: Well -- when I was dating Kyle, he and I used to come up here and have sex. And I just wanted to show Georgie that she and Dillon could come up here, you know? He could come in through the window or up the stairs and you and mom would never even know he's here. And I know it's a little uncomfortable to think about your daughters having sex, but let's be realistic. It happens. And I just want Georgie to have a safe place to go --
Mac: Ok, ok, ok, ok, that's -- that's enough. Let's go. We're going downstairs. I'm going to march your precocious butts downstairs to have a nice long talk with your mother about responsibility, protection, and the benefits of abstinence. Let's go.
Woman: All right.
Alexis: You're late.
Ric: Sorry. I just had a couple of other issues I had to resolve. Is Reese here?
Alexis: Not so far.
Ric: I was hoping she'd be here already.
Alexis: Well, if you two are setting up a practice together, you might want to work out being on time for a simple deposition.
Ric: Is that right? I suppose you think that you and I should go into practice together. That way you could tell me what to do and think and --
Alexis: And we're off!
Ric: Oh, you know what? Fine. I'm not going to argue with you. I'm just trying to maintain a professional standard.
Alexis: Sorry, so will I, because I'm not the one who initiated the divorce.
Ric: True, but you are the one who's pushed me into an adulterous affair so you can establish legal grounds.
Alexis: No, I'm just trying to move this along. I can't figure out why you're dragging your feet. I'd think you'd want to be in a hurry --
Ric: I don't know why are you so determined to get rid of me, Alexis.
John: Hey, hey. Would you two please settle your differences on your own time? Now, is there anything we need to go over before the deposition?
Alexis: Yes. Settlements.
Tracy: Why don't you use your money and your threats to buy your wife another job? My mother was director of the hospital charity endowment from the moment she arrived in Port Charles till the day she died, and it was passed down to me. I'm not about to give it up, least of all to Carly Corinthos Alcazar or whatever it is she's calling herself these days.
Monica: I agree with Tracy. Carly is completely inappropriate.
Lorenzo: No, she's inexperienced, and she'll learn what she needs to know to be effective.
Tracy: You can't learn the requirements for my job. You either have them or you don't -- breeding, social standing, business acumen. Carly comes up zero on all counts.
Alan: Where she shines, however, is lying, scheming, blackmailing, and stealing other people's children. Maybe you can get her a job as an enforcer, and Jason could give her tips.
Luke: Look, Lorenzo, I totally understand your need to get something for Carly to do to keep her busy, but maybe being the head of a large charitable endowment isn't a good choice.
Lorenzo: Well, your opinions are duly noted. Please refrain from expressing them to Carly or the deal will be off.
Tracy: Have you not been listening? There is no deal.
Lorenzo: So be it.
Skye: Well, let's not be so hasty, shall we? Of course we accept your generous offer. Tracy will step down as director of the endowment, effective immediately. I'm sure Carly will make an excellent replacement.
Jason: How much do you really know about Reese?
Sonny: Jason, how many times have we been down this road?
Jason: All right, Sonny, I --
Sonny: You don't think I'm watching Reese like a hawk? What I do know is she saved my kids and she saved me from a prison sentence. What else --
Jason: Yeah, have you ever asked yourself why?
Sonny: For the record, I'm not going to give up Reese at this moment, and I'm kind of tired of defending myself. You're sounding like an overgrown version of Michael, wanting me back with Carly.
Jason: You say that you value my ability to look at a situation and see it for what it is, ok?
Jason: Just the facts, without emotion, and that's what I'm trying to do right now, and some of what Carly says actually makes sense. Think about it. When Reese first showed up, Kristina was the only kid missing. Did she pay any attention to Alexis at all? No, she wanted to focus her investigation on you. She wanted to get close to you. And then we got Michael back and we figured out how A.J. had traumatized him, and there was Reese, in first position to be the only one who would get through to him. And now, all of a sudden, out of nowhere she's Bobbie’s lawyer? I mean, come on, man. This is strange. Strange things, I know, they happen. It could be a coincidence. But in our business, probably not. So maybe Carly’s right. Maybe Reese is working some kind of agenda. I just want you to be careful.
Reese: Sonny --
Sonny: Reese? Where are you?
Reese: The penthouse. Somebody broke in.
Alexis: You've been offered a fortune, and I suggest that you take it.
John: Why should I?
Alexis: Because if this goes to trial, I don't think I can win it.
Ric: Ok, there is a large settlement on the table. Now, if Durant happens to --
Tracy: No settlement, no way.
Luke: Don't worry, Bobbie. The fix is in. We have the money to pay Durant off.
Tracy: I will not hand over the position I inherited from my mother to her daughter.
Bobbie: What does Carly have to do with this?
Luke: Carly's new husband offered to settle with Durant to the tune of 20 million bucks if Carly was made director of the G.H. charitable endowment.
Tracy: And I'm not having it. This is your mess. You clean it up however you want. I don't care if you go directly to your new son-in-law and borrow the money from him. The bottom line is Carly will not walk away with my birthright.
Sonny: Reese? Hey.
Sonny: What happened?
Reese: I was going through my stuff --
Sonny: You all right?
Reese: And the next thing I know I wake up, I'm on the floor, I got this huge bump on my head.
Jason: Nothing's missing from what I can tell.
Sonny: Does it look like anything else was taken?
Reese: I'd have to go through all my stuff to be sure, but everything seems ok.
Sonny: Ok, you know what? I told Reese that she'd be safe here. What the hell happened, Jason?
Jason: Sonny, it's too soon to know.
Sonny: Well, find out who did this, because they're going to pay.
Carly: Yeah, I need the number of a locksmith.
Lorenzo: Carly? There you are.
Carly: Where else?
Lorenzo: That's what I've been wondering. I left you several messages on your voicemail, none of which were returned, which makes me think you've been up to something. Would you like to tell me what?
Mac: So? Did you have that talk with your mother?
Georgie: Yes. She was very understanding.
Mac: Empathy wasn't exactly the point.
Maxie: What do you want, dad? A blow-by-blow account of our entire conversation?
Mac: No. I want you to understand something -- and I mean really get it through that ridiculous hair of yours, into your head, implanted into your brain for all time.
Mac: If I ever catch you sneaking into the attic to have sex with my daughter, I will make it impossible for you to ever attempt that ever again. Are you getting my drift?
Dillon: Oh, yeah, oh, yeah. No sex in the attic --
Mac: Or anywhere else.
Dillon: Any-- no sex anywhere at all! No sex! None! What in the hell was that? What just happened there?
Maxie: Hey. We hid Jesse in the attic.
Dillon: Jesse? Jesse? Bad Cop Jesse? Jesse who tried to take me hostage Jesse? That Jesse?
Maxie: Ok. He's not a bad cop, and he didn't try and take you hostage but, yes, that Jesse, and Mac was coming upstairs. He was going to find him.
Georgie: So Maxie chose to -- oh, I don't know -- distract Mac by admitting that she was giving me pointers on how to have attic sex with you.
Georgie: Thanks, Maxie.
Dillon: That's great. Thank you so much. That's great. Do you know -- do you know how dead I am after all the progress I've made with him?
Maxie: Look, I am sorry, but I had to do something. Jesse's hurt.
Dillon: Put him in jail.
Maxie: He doesn't belong in jail.
Dillon: You don't know that, Maxie. You know that he's dangerous. You don't know if he's a good cop like Serpico or a bad cop like Harvey Keitel in "Bad Lieutenant." You don't know anything, and you're not in a place where you want to find out.
Maxie: I'm not deserting him.
Dillon: Are you really willing to risk everything for a guy who could be lying through his teeth?
Alexis: My client has elected not to settle, so we need to continue with the deposition.
Ric: You're making a big mistake.
Alexis: Well, he doesn't see it that way.
Ric: All right, let's get started.
Tracy: There. The District Attorney does not want Mr. Alcazar's money, so there's no deal. I keep my position as director of the endowment.
Luke: Not so fast, spunky.
Tracy: Why not? You heard Alexis. He turned down the deal. Thus ends Mr. and Mrs. Alcazar's participation.
Skye: I know what you're thinking. If this case goes to trial, there's a good chance that Durant will win.
Luke: That's right, and the hospital can never cover those damages. Look, Alcazar's not going to throw his new mother-in-law under the bus, so he will pony up the money in the end. And the Hospital Board is going to show their gratitude by asking his terms -- bim, bam, boom -- Carly’s got your job.
Tracy: Excuse us. I know that you think that Director of the General Hospital Charitable Endowment is a frivolous title, something to give a rich, pointless woman something to do. But it goes much deeper than that for me, because it is one of my last links to my mother, and she's someone that I have loved more than anyone or anything on this earth and, Luke, I won't give it up.
John: I was in a great deal of pain that night. I had no trouble at all feeling my legs. I woke up after the operation -- nothing.
Alexis: Did you and Ms. Spencer have an argument prior to your surgery?
John: Not immediately prior but, yes, there was an argument. In fact, if I had known that Bobbie was going to be a part of the surgical team, I would have never allowed it.
Alexis: Bobbie Spencer has a reputation as being one of the best surgical nurses General Hospital has to offer. Why wouldn't you want her to treat you?
John: Oh, gee, let me see. Because she maybe threatened me earlier in the day?
Bobbie: Oh, that's such a lie.
Ric: You'll get your chance.
Bobbie: Why can't you accept that what happened to you was an accident? Why are you trying to persecute me?
John: Oh, you're a fine one to talk about persecution. You take away my right, my chance to parent my only child. First, you neglect to mention that Carly was ever conceived, then you gave her away to the first person that came along. Why? One reason and one reason only, Bobbie -- revenge, because I dumped you, because I walked away from you, and I committed the cardinal sin of not returning your affection. But that wasn't enough for you, was it, stealing my child, giving her away? You saw me lying there helpless on the operating table. You saw your chance for permanent payback. This was no accident, and you are no angel, sweetheart, not that night and not today. You paralyzed me on purpose, and I'm going to make damn sure that you suffer the consequences.
Carly: My father's a lying pig. I don't want you paying him one red cent.
Lorenzo: Well, Carly, we may not be able to avoid it. From my understanding, Bobbie definitely acted outside the line of her job description. And if the decision that she made resulted in an injury, especially a serious one, General Hospital will be liable and so will your mother.
Carly: She doesn't have the kind of money Durant’s looking for.
Lorenzo: No. She has the next best thing -- me. An out-of-court settlement is the best thing for everyone, so I put an offer on the table -- a conditional one, of course.
Carly: What did you ask for?
Lorenzo: Well, you mentioned needing a project, something you could focus on that has nothing to do with Sonny. So I've asked that you be made Director of the General Hospital Charitable Endowment.
Carly: Are you serious?
Lorenzo: It's a complicated job, one that requires determination and fundraising ability, but you can learn that. And at the same time, you'll be doing a lot of good.
Carly: Ok, yeah, but this is -- I mean, it's tantamount to being anointed Queen of Port Charles. Lila Quartermaine headed the charitable endowment for years. Tracy -- it was handed to Tracy by divine right.
Lorenzo: Well, now I'm taking it from her and I'm passing it on to you.
Carly: Well, did my father accept the offer?
Lorenzo: Hmm. I'm sure he will over time. And of course Tracy balked, but I think she'll come around when she realizes she has no choice. In the meantime, I've called a board meeting for tonight --
Carly: No, you didn’t.
Jason: I need to talk to Carly.
Carly: Oh. Lorenzo and I are just in the middle of something. I'll call you later.
Jason: Well, you know -- no, we need to have this conversation now, so whether it's in front of Alcazar or not, that's up to you.
Carly: All right, well, speak freely.
Jason: Ok. 15 minutes ago, you broke into Reese’s penthouse, you hit her on the head, knocked her unconscious, and you left her lying there. I want to know why.
Sonny: I'm sorry, but this should help.
Reese: Thank you.
Sonny: Just put it on.
Reese: This is becoming an unfortunate habit with us, huh?
Sonny: Yeah, one I want to break, ok? I don't like people lurking around here waiting to hurt you. I thought once your ex-husband was dead that this was going to stop. Do you have any idea what's going on?
Reese: I probably surprised a burglar.
Sonny: In a penthouse that everybody knows is mine?
Reese: Some people respond recklessly to challenge. The more dangerous the better.
Sonny: Like you?
Reese: Yes. And you, too. That's probably why we get along so well for the most part.
Sonny: We have our moments. All right -- ahem. Listen, I'm not going to let this happen again, all right? I'm going to do everything I can to find out who did this, and I'm going to send a message. And you are going to be safe here.
Reese: I'm fine, Sonny. Really, no damage done, just a little bump on my head. I just want to forget that this whole thing even happened, ok?
Sonny: All right. You recognize this?
Alexis: My client is obviously under emotional duress, which is understandable since he's lost the use of his legs.
Ric: I stipulate to Mr. Durant's physical condition. Can we move on?
Alexis: Yes. I think we should reschedule the depo.
Ric: Alexis, we're all here. Why don't we just finish up?
John: I can't possibly continue. I'm far too exhausted. We will have to reschedule.
Ric: I guess we're done for the day.
Bobbie: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have, but he makes me so mad.
Ric: No, no, that's all right, Bobbie. Don't worry. You did fine. I'll call you when we reschedule.
Alexis: Thank you, Bobbie.
Ric: Well, I don't understand you. Why'd you intervene? Durant was doing a hell of a job digging a hole for himself.
Alexis: He's my client, and it's my duty to stop him if he's undermining his own case.
Ric: Yeah, which he basically admitted was a personal vendetta against Bobbie. The man is despicable, Alexis. You know it. I don't get it.
Alexis: Call me crazy, but when I became a lawyer and I took an oath, I actually thought I should follow it, which means I defend the person whether I believe he deserves it or not.
Ric: Right, I don't buy it. Look, Durant is using this whole paralysis to get back at Bobbie for not telling him about Carly all those years. Now, the Alexis that I know would never have condoned that, much less help him do it.
John: You know what you can do with your settlement offer. I fully intend to have my day in court. You -- you made me suffer twice, and now I'm going to return the favor.
Luke: I'm sick of you trying to intimidate my sister.
Bobbie: You know what? It's not worth it. Let it go.
Tracy: Mr. Durant, not only are you arrogant and pretentious, you're stupid. Bobbie Spencer is a pillar of this community. She has roots here, history. Everyone in this town knows exactly the odds she overcame to become who and what she is, and they love her for it. You, on the other hand, are a corrupt prosecutor who blew into town about 20 minutes ago, managed to get stripped of your job, and alienate everyone in this town who means anything. No jury will take your word over Bobbie’s. In fact, you'll get laughed out of court.
John: I would watch my mouth if I were you. You're on the Hospital Board. It could be construed as intimidation.
Tracy: Fine. File another lawsuit. In fact, keep them coming until there is no blue-black paper to be found within a thousand-mile radius of this town. Orderly, please do me a favor and escort Mr. Durant to the elevator. He's cluttering up the halls.
John: Find yourself a vending machine, amigo. I'm fine.
Bobbie: Did I imagine that, or did Tracy just defend me?
Skye: Well, she seemed almost -- dare I say it? -- Sincere.
Luke: My wife is full of surprises.
Reese: I was wondering what happened to that.
Sonny: It's yours?
Reese: Yeah. I had it on my wrist this morning, and then I realized it wasn't there, and it's got this real tricky clasp. I don't remember that until I've lost it somewhere.
Sonny: No chance it was with the rest of the jewelry? Maybe the burglar, you know, dropped it when he was on the way out?
Reese: Oh, come on. Any burglar worth his title would realize this is costume jewelry. All my good stuff was still in a safety-deposit box in D.C. so there you go. I mean, it was here this morning. I remember that.
Carly: I didn't break into Sonny's apartment where he keeps his slut, let alone knock her out.
Jason: Carly, you're lying to me. Did you do it on purpose or did you panic? Did you take anything from Reese’s place?
Lorenzo: You know, I'm not going to stand here silent and let you bully Carly and call it friendship. She wasn't in Reese’s apartment, she was here with me, not that either of us owes you an explanation. Do not come barging in here, and do not call my wife a liar ever again. Explain to me why Jason’s friendship allows him to treat you that way.
Carly: Forget about Jason. He's wrong. I'm more interested in what just happened there. You weren't with me this afternoon. Why'd you tell him you were?
Lorenzo: I don't like Jason bullying you. But I would like an answer to his question. Did you do what he accused you of?
Maxie: Jesse? Jesse? Oh, why didn't you answer?
Jesse: I had to be sure you were alone. I thought your dad might have come back with you, check for any guys who might have climbed in the window hoping to have sex?
Maxie: Ugh. No, Mac was, like, two seconds away from finding you, so I said the first worst thing that popped into my head, and I think he was too mortified to be suspicious.
Jesse: I'm sorry. I guess I owe you again, this time for going to a place that hurts in order to help me. And I'm going to have to come up with a major thank-you gift when this is all over.
Maxie: Well, that actually might be sooner than you think. Dillon went to go find John Durant to explain.
Jesse: Stop him. Look, Dillon can't go near Durant.
Georgie: Are you sure about this?
Dillon: No, I'm not. But it's a course of action. I mean, I don't -- I don't know if Jesse is, like, trustworthy or not or whatever, but you and Maxie are so determined to help him. Well, this is the best way. We set up a meeting with John Durant. You have him meet and explain himself as clear as --
Georgie: Wait, wait, wait. Target approaching, 6:00.
Georgie: Ok, come on. Let's go.
Dillon: Here goes nothing. All right.
Georgie: Dillon --
Dillon: Hi. Mr. Durant? Excuse me. I'm sorry. Um -- I have a message for you from Detective Jesse Beaudry.
John: You're in contact with the man who shot me?
Dillon: Yeah, well, that's -- that's kind of the thing. He didn't shoot you. He was framed, and he wants to turn himself in.
Ric: You think John Durant is lower than pond scum. I just don't understand why you would take his bogus lawsuit for what appears to be another reason to get in the ring with me.
Alexis: Your ego is a constant source of wonder to me.
Ric: Why, Alexis? Why argue on behalf of a man that you despise?
Alexis: You know, the beauty of this legal system is that everyone, no matter how hateful and wrong, has the right to be legally represented.
Alexis: Now, I did not take this case for the pleasure of handing you your butt in court --
Ric: Oh, really?
Alexis: But it is an added bonus.
Ric: Ok. All right, well, just don't expect any kind of leniency just because you're pregnant.
Alexis: Ok, fine. I can handle it myself. Bring it on!
Reese: It's me.
Ric: Reese? What happened? Where are you?
Reese: A burglar broke into my apartment and knocked me out.
Ric: What? Are you all right?
Reese: I have a slight headache, but I think I'll live.
Ric: I'm coming right over.
Reese: No, really, it's not necessary.
Ric: Does -- does Sonny know?
Reese: Yeah. He's been here and gone. He said he was going to take care of it.
Ric: Yeah, I'm sure he will.
Reese: So, anyway, I just -- I didn't want you to think that I flaked on you, all right? How'd it go today?
Ric: Well, you know, Durant went off on Bobbie and then he tuckered himself out.
Reese: Oh, please.
Ric: No, it's fine. We're in the process of rescheduling. Are you sure you're all right?
Reese: Yeah, I swear. I'll talk to you later, ok?
Alexis: Is Reese all right?
Ric: Yeah. She -- she moved into Sonny's old penthouse and already she's been attacked.
Carly: Well, I've learned my lesson. Reese Marshall and her agenda is Sonny's problem. Unless she starts coming on to you, I have no reason to be anywhere near that woman.
Lorenzo: So where were you?
Carly: The latest "Wizards and Magic" book came out, and I wanted to get it for Michael. He loves that series. I've been reading it to him since he was 4. Oh, I just -- I don't know. I really miss that guy so much. Visitation is better than nothing, but it's just not nearly enough.
Lorenzo: Yeah. Well, I'm sorry that Michael’s had such a hard time accepting our marriage.
Carly: He will in time. I'm just going to, you know, keep reassuring him how deeply I love him, and he's going to come around when he's ready.
Lorenzo: You know, I love that about you -- your strength and determination. You're never afraid of the odds. You are perfect to head the charitable endowment.
Carly: Oh, my God! The board meeting. Oh, I can't go like this. Will you tell them I'm deeply honored and that I'm right behind you?
Lorenzo: Carly, take your time. You enjoy the anticipation and figuring out what you're going to wear. You know, it's not every day you get crowned Queen of Port Charles.
Carly: You know, tease me if you want. This is a really big deal for a trailer park girl.
Carly: You really do make me feel like a queen, and I love you for that.
Sonny: Run this by me again?
Jason: It was Carly.
Sonny: Carly broke into Reese’s apartment and knocked her unconscious. Is that what you're saying?
Jason: It is not the first time Carly broke in, either.
Sonny: She's done this before?
Jason: The day Reese moved in. I figured she might, so I got there first and I waited. Sure enough, Carly comes in. She starts going through Reese’s stuff. I stopped her from doing that, but we were arguing when you and Reese came back, so we had to hide.
Sonny: In the living room when we were on the couch? That's not good.
Jason: No, no. So I waited till you guys went upstairs. I got Carly out, ok? I wasn't dumb enough to think that she would just let this go, but I never thought that she would physically touch --
Sonny: Ok, I got to go.
Jason: Sonny, just stop.
Sonny: This has to end now!
Maxie: Jesse, you're just trying to scare me.
Jesse: Durant will realize that Dillon and Georgie know where I am. He'll get it out of them.
Maxie: I thought you wanted a chance to explain to Durant that you didn't shoot him.
Jesse: I do. I want to get out of this alive, and that means that I can't trust anyone. Where are your car keys?
Maxie: I'm sorry. What?
Jesse: I need your car keys. Where are they?
Maxie: Where are you going?
Jesse: I'll know when I get there.
Maxie: No, no, no, you cannot have my car keys.
Jesse: You said that you wanted to help me.
Maxie: I did, when I thought you were innocent. But only guilty people run, Jesse. You've been lying to me all along.
Dillon: I'm sort of the intermediary. It's this thing that happens to me a lot. I'm not going to get into it. I've set up a meeting for you and Jesse Beaudry to meet so he can tell you his story in person.
John: Oh, I appreciate you coming forward.
Ofc. Murphy: Here are those files you requested.
John: Excellent. Your timing couldn't be better. Arrest these two for aiding and abetting a fugitive.
Luke: Tracy, before you go in there, we need a word. Look, the ugly reality is whether Durant settles or sues, we still have to have Alcazar's money in order to keep the hospital open. Now, don't worry. Carly's got the attention span of a gnat. I guarantee you her tenure as head of the endowment is going to last about two months.
Tracy: Gee, am I to construe that as you consoling me?
Luke: I didn't really understand your attachment to the job before, and I do now. I loved Lila. She was an amazing woman. And so are you, in your own way. You got to go in there with your head held high. Don't let them see you sweat. And remember, this is only temporary. I guarantee you that we will get your job back.
Tracy: Will you go in there with me?
Luke: I would be honored.
Tracy: Thank you all for coming here on such short notice. I have decided after careful consideration to step down from my position as Director of the General Hospital Charitable Endowment. The position will now be filled by Mrs. Carly Alcazar, should she ever decide to show up to accept it.
Lorenzo: My wife will be arriving shortly. I expect you all to give her a warm welcome and your full cooperation.
Jason: I get that you're angry, ok, but we don't know what happened yet, so going off on Carly right now is not going to solve anything.
Sonny: You do know that Carly could have killed Reese, right?
Jason: Yes, I know that, but --
Sonny: You don't care?
Jason: Yeah, I do, but she didn't, ok? Reese is fine. And I'm sure Carly’s good and scared, but we need to keep this between us. Reese is the last person who should know about this.
[Knock on door]
Ric: Excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt your conversation, but if what I just overheard is true and Carly did break into Reese’s apartment and assaulted her, Jason, I think she needs to be held responsible.
Sonny: You know what? I think Carly’s gone too far.
Carly: Yeah, well, I lost my key and stupidly tried to jimmy the box open, and now the lock is stuck. Well, it's really important that I get into this box immediately. Ok, well, I'm on my way to a meeting, and I'll drop it off on the way.
Reese: Give the lockbox back, and I won't tell Sonny that the so-called burglar was really you.
Carly: Well, it won't matter once he knows what you've been hiding.
Reese: You opened it?
Carly: What do you think?
Reese: I think we have a lot to talk about.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Jesse: Give me your car keys.
Maxie: If you want them, you're going to have to take them from me.
Georgie: Dillon and I have been arrested for aiding and abetting.
Sam: You want me to convince Sonny to go to therapy?
Jason: Reese is hiding something.
Sonny: You're as paranoid as Carly.
Carly: How long did you think you could keep this a secret?
