Courtney: Welcome home.
Jax: Well, this is a nice welcoming. What are we celebrating?
Courtney: First full day of summer. The birds are nesting, buds are blossoming, and you and I are going to celebrate our own rite of summer.
Courtney: Yep -- by getting started on our baby tonight.
Felicia: There's no change.
Mac: I'll -- I'll sit with her.
Dillon: Guys? Georgie --
Felicia: Georgie? Hey, hey.
Georgie: What happened?
Mac: You -- you passed out, sweetheart.
Felicia: Look, Tony’s going to have to run some more tests and he -- he may have to operate again.
Georgie: Ok, mom. Mom, I should tell you something.
Felicia: No. You need to just rest, please.
Georgie: No, mom. Promise me that if something happens to me, you will give my heart to Maxie.
Felicia: Now, stop it. Nothing is going to happen. You're going to do exactly as your sister said. You're going to live a very long and happy life.
Maxie: I must've died and gone to heaven. Who are you?
Jesse: I know you have no reason to trust me, but I need your help.
Bobbie: I'm sorry. I hear we have a gunshot wound.
Tony: No, it's good you're here. It's great.
Bobbie: Oh, my God. John.
Tony: Bobbie, we're ready to start the procedure.
Elizabeth: The patient is Carly’s father. Maybe we should get another nurse.
Tony: No, there's no time. This man's critical.
Jason: You ready to go?
Sam: Jason? Forget it.
Jason: Well, thank you.
Sam: For what?
Jason: For not asking if I shot Durant. I didn't, but I wanted to.
Sam: For Michael.
Jason: You know, I have -- I have no memory of growing up in that house. But when I heard Alan tonight ranting and going on and on, I got a taste of it. Alan helped make A.J. who he was and I saw what Michael would have to live through if he ever lived with the Quartermaines. You know the funny thing? Everyone always blamed A.J. for what he did to me in my accident. The truth is he may have saved me from something a whole lot worse.
Sam: You know, Alan won't give up easily. And if Durant lives, he's going to use every trick in the book to help the Quartermaines out.
Ofc. Logan: Jason Morgan, we need you for questioning in the shooting of District Attorney Durant.
Sam: No, no, no, Jason had nothing to do with that. He wasn't even in the courthouse when it happened.
Ofc. Logan: A witness heard Morgan threaten to kill him.
Sam: What witness?
Ofc. Logan: Alan Quartermaine.
Carly: You seem to be in the middle of everything these days -- my son, my ex-husband, and now my father. Why is everything in my life so important to you?
Reese: Your insecurity's finally blossomed into full-fledged paranoia.
Carly: Oh, I'm not making this up. It's like you've targeted my life and you're going after anything you want.
Reese: Am I really that intimidating?
Carly: I'm not afraid of you.
Reese: Well, maybe you should be.

Georgie: I need to be with Maxie.
Felicia: You are recovering from surgery.
Georgie: Mom, I just -- I just want to hold her hand like she did for me.
Mac: It was sitting too long at Maxie’s bedside that caused you to faint, sweetheart.
Georgie: But, dad, I'll be really careful.
Monica: Well, good, because your sister wouldn't want you to put yourself at risk.
Georgie: Monica, Maxie and I have a really special connection and -- and I can will her to live.
Jesse: I'm wanted for something I didn't do.
Maxie: You're wanted? You mean, like, by the police?
Jesse: I swear I'm telling the truth. I was framed for a crime I didn't commit.
Maxie: It's my dad.
Mac: Maxie, you're awake! How do you feel?
Maxie: Better. How's Georgie?
Mac: Well, she'll be thrilled to know that you've woke up.
Maxie: Could you go tell her and mom?
Mac: Sure, right away.
Monica: Tony told me the operation was successful, and it looks like you don't need another one.
Mac: Maxie's awake.
Monica: Oh --
Felicia: Thank God!
Georgie: I knew she'd make it.
Jax: You know, the romantic atmosphere is -- is wonderful, but won't that put a bit of a damper on things?
Courtney: Oh, come on. Just ignore it.
Jax: No --
Courtney: Come on, I won't even bring it out until the last possible minute.
Jax: How reassuring.
Courtney: Come on, Jax. Look, when I tell our little boy or girl how they came to be, I want to be able to say they started as a gleam in their father's eye.
Jax: And mommy put the gleam there.
Courtney: Hmm. I'm just getting started.
Tony: Suction. All right, we need to clamp the bleeder. We need the clamp now! Excuse me!
Doctor: I'm getting irregular sensory reading.
Tony: All right, we're in trouble here. All right, unclamp and apply pressure. We may have occluded the vertebral artery.
Sam: No, this is ridiculous. Jason didn't threaten the D.A., much less shoot him.
Ofc. Logan: The witness heard Morgan --
Sam: The witness is Alan Quartermaine, Jason’s father. Alan is in so much grief over the death of his other son, A.J., that he also blamed Jason for the death. And you got absolutely no evidence to support that, either! You're just going to take him in like that?
Ofc. Logan: The commissioner will decide that after we question him.
Sam: Oh, ok. So you're just going to take Jason into the police station every time Alan Quartermaine makes up a charge, right?
Jason: Ok, Sam, just save your breath, ok? It's a waste.
Sam: I will follow you down there.
Jason: All right.
Jodie: Who's A.J.? And who killed him?
Carly: Are you threatening me?
Reese: I seem to be without even trying. Why are you so worked up?
Carly: Good instincts.
Reese: Or maybe it's because when you look at me, you see yourself, right? A classic case of projecting your own dysfunctional behavior?
Carly: No, when I look at you, I see a desperate woman trying desperately to grab on to any parts of my life that she can.
Reese: Well, there's nothing wrong with your ego, is there?
Carly: I see Sonny's buckle bunny -- for the moment. Enjoy it while it lasts. He'll be bored with you before the summer's over.
Reese: Oh -- like he got bored with you?
Carly: Sonny and I have had lots of problems, ok? Boredom wasn't one of them. He loves me; he always will.
Reese: That's why he divorced you, right?
Carly: He married me first. I don't see that happening with you. You know what? You're going to warm his bed for a while, and then it'll be over, and I'll still be here. Sonny and I have a connection that nothing will break.
Reese: You are so pathetic. You just keep forging ahead with your own reality -- I almost feel sorry for you, Carly. I really do.
Carly: Ok. Don't bother. Save your pity for yourself. You're going to need it when Sonny's over you.
Reese: You think you can point to any guy and grab him because you said "mine!" Well, that's not the way it works, Carly. You can't just grab anyone you see and claim them for yourself. You're a greedy, selfish little bitch and you always have been.
Carly: Oh, really? And how do you know that? You know me all of, what, six months, and you know how I've "always been"?
Reese: You're an easy read, Carly, and about as subtle as a train wreck.
Carly: You're a lying snake. Did you study me, Reese; try to copy my every move so you can move in on the people in my life?
Reese: You have no idea.
Carly: What the hell does that mean?
Ric: Ok, ladies, why don't we just walk away here before somebody says something that they're going to regret?
Carly: Why is it any of your business?
Ric: Reese and I are -- we're partners in a law firm.
Carly: No. You got to be kidding me.
Ric: Just give it a rest, ok, Carly?
Carly: Wow. First, Alexis, and then Reese? I got to hand it to you, Ric, you really know how to get a lot of mileage out of Sonny's castoffs.
Ric: Yeah, thanks a lot. Hmm.
Reese: I'm not a castoff.
Carly: Give it time.
Reese: Have you ever just wanted to cause physical harm to that woman? Ugh!
Ric: Yeah, I did that not too long ago, and I owe Carly a lifetime of amends for it.
Reese: Well, she doesn't deserve it.
Ric: Reese, I'm not going to let you hurt Carly no matter what went on between the two of you in the past.
Michael: A.J. was my biological father.
Jodie: I thought Sonny was.
Michael: Well, he adopted me, and now he is my father.
Jodie: How come you got adopted?
Michael: Well, A.J. was this real creep, and my mom took me away from him and married Sonny. Then A.J. came back and kidnapped me, and then he was killed.
Jodie: Whoa, I thought my family was weird.
Michael: But I never, ever thought of him as my dad.
Jodie: So you didn't care when he got killed?
Michael: Not really.
Jodie: Did Jason kill A.J.?
Jodie: How can you be sure? Do you know who really killed A.J.?
Mac: I was paged because you want to make an official statement?
Alan: Jason threatened to kill John Durant only hours before he was gunned down.
Mac: That's -- that information is hearsay unless you were a witness.
Alan: I was. He swore in my presence that he was going to kill the district attorney. So if Durant dies, Jason killed him just as surely as he killed A.J.
Sam: You are lying, Alan. How could you do that to your own son?
Alan: I have no sons. They're both dead. I grieve for Jason Quartermaine the same as I grieve for my son A.J.
Sam: Do you see how biased he is? Alan is trying to punish Jason for outliving his own brother.
Alan: A.J.'s brother died the moment he picked up a gun for Sonny Corinthos. Yes, I did have two sons, but I don't have any now. And I owe it to the memory of both of them to make sure that Jason Morgan goes to jail so he can never cause anybody any more harm.
[Soft music plays]
Courtney: Ok, open your mouth, then close.
Jax: We wouldn't be having oysters because of the old wives' tale that they're an aphrodisiac, would we?
Courtney: Well, I've never known you to have a problem in that area, but a little boost can't hurt.
Jax: Well, it's a good thing I like oysters.
Courtney: Hmm. Me, too -- the way they slip around on your tongue and tingle as they go down your throat.
Jax: Oh, I love it when you talk shellfish.
Courtney: You ready for some bubbly?
Courtney: Ok. What?
Courtney: What? Alcohol may lower sperm count. Here you go.
Jax: You know, I think that you are the only woman that could make that sound flirtatious.
Courtney: Ok, tell you what. In exchange for you giving up champagne, how about I give you the buzz of your life?
Felicia: Is it my imagination or is there actually some color in those cheeks?
Maxie: I feel better.
Monica: Well, no wonder. Your blood pressure's rising in response to the last medication. Now, it is way too early to say anything for certain, but you keep improving like this, you're not going to need a heart transplant.
Felicia: Monica, that's wonderful.
Maxie: And then B.J.'s heart can stay with me for a lifetime.
Felicia: It's going to be a very, very long one. I'm going to go tell Mac the news.
Dillon: I got to tell Georgie. That's what I got to do.
Maxie: The last time I saw Georgie I said goodbye. You have to give her a message for me. Tell her I take it back.
Carly: So how's John doing?
Tony: We got the bullet out and his condition is stable.
Carly: I hear a "but."
Tony: Well, there -- there actually was a problem during surgery. We had an arterial bleed, but we managed to control it.
Carly: Did the bleed cause a problem?
Tony: We won't know till he wakes up. Excuse me.
Reese: Don't worry, I have no intention of harming Carly in any way.
Ric: Even though you said you had harbored revenge fantasies for Carly?
Reese: Against Caroline Benson --
Ric: Oh, right.
Reese: My former best friend.
Ric: I see.
Reese: And that was back in high school. She became Carly, and I became Reese.
Ric: But you still dislike her?
Reese: Oh, intensely. But I'm not going to sabotage her life in any way, and it's not because I'm noble. It's because hurting Carly would drive Sonny away permanently and I -- I care too much about him to let Carly provoke me.
Ric: Well, I'm glad to hear it -- especially since we're now officially law partners.
Reese: That's right.
Reese: So then we both want to avoid complications, right?
Ric: Yeah, personally, I think I've had enough to last a lifetime.
Reese: Ok, then. So no convoluted secret agendas and no sticky entanglements on either side.
Ric: Yeah, ok.
Ric: I think it's going to work out just fine.
Reese: Me, too.
Alexis: Dr. Meadows gave the baby and me a clean bill of health.
Ric: Oh, good, good. You're both -- both all right, then?
Alexis: Yes. The baby's fine. In fact, the baby obligingly kicked for the doctor.
Ric: That's great.
Alexis: She just asked that I avoid sniper fire -- at least until the baby's born.
Ric: Yeah, see if you can do that, huh?
Alexis: Yeah. Listen, I'm really glad you're here because there is an area in my life that is a nagging area of concern and I think that you might be able to remedy the situation.
Reese: I'll do anything I can.
Alexis: I would be eternally grateful if you would take my husband to bed.
Mac: Where were you this evening at 8:15?
Jason: I was in my car driving to Sonny's house.
Alan: Directly from the courthouse where you shot the district attorney.
Sam: Oh, come on, this is crazy.
Alan: When Jason threatens to kill somebody, he always follows through. You see, that's what he does for a living.
Sam: Did anyone even see Jason at the courthouse, or are you going to lie and say you were there when Durant was shot?
Mac: Let's just stick with the facts.
Mac: Were you alone in the car?
Jason: Yes, I was alone.
Alan: In other words, you don't have an alibi.
Sam: Why would he need one for a crime he didn't see, much less commit?
Alan: Mac, you let Jason get away with murdering A.J.
Mac: There wasn't evidence against Jason.
Alan: That's because you didn't look for it. I thought law enforcement protected its own. Are you going to let Jason just walk away from shooting the district attorney?
Michael: Jason did not shoot John Durant, and he did not kill A.J. Quartermaine.
Jason: Ok, hey, hey --
Michael: I know --
Jason: Hey, hey, hey, it's ok, buddy. You don't have to protect me. Everything's going to be ok. Hey, you don't have to worry, ok? I'm not in trouble.
Michael: But the police think you did it.
Jason: No, no, they don't think I did it. I'm just in for questioning, ok? They're going to let me go because there's no evidence against me.
Alan: You threatened John Durant’s life right in front of me.
Mac: Alan, you could have made your statement without calling me away from my daughter's hospital bed.
Alan: For God's sake, he shot the D.A.
Mac: You're obviously biased against Jason.
Alan: Ok, fine. Dig up evidence. Go ahead. Jason murdered A.J., and --
Michael: Jason didn't do anything wrong. He didn't kill A.J. -- I know.
Alan: Listen to me, Michael. I understand your loyalty to Jason and to the other adults in your life. But you must know that they're liars -- Jason and Sonny and your mother --
Sam: Oh, come on, stop it, Alan, really!
Alan: A.J. was your father, and he loved you dearly.
Jason: Stop trying to poison this kid's mind like A.J. did.
Alan: He wasn't perfect, but he had a good heart --
Jason: Ok, that's enough. Michael, Michael, I know that you want to help me, ok, and you need to do that by going home with Sam, and I'm going to meet you there later.
Alan: You're putting your trust in the wrong people.
Michael: I don't want to leave you.
Jason: No, no, you got to, you have to. It's going to be ok, I promise. Sam's going to take you home now. We got to get you out of here.
Sam: Come on, sweetheart, let's go.
Michael: If you say so.
Sam: Come on.
Alan: Michael, will you please just think about what I said?
Sam: Monica, he's out of control.
Monica: Thank you for calling. Oh, I'll take care of it. Mac, release Jason. His only crime is surviving his brother.
Dillon: So, Maxie said you promised her that you would take a balloon trip around the entire world and kiss a boy -- namely me -- under the Bridge of Sighs. What do you think?
Georgie: Maxie's such a romantic.
Dillon: Yeah. So?
Georgie: So, now that Maxie’s going to get better, she can take that balloon trip, and you and I can go kiss under that bridge.
Dillon: That's not bad. Venice, sunset -- kind of like "A Little Romance." Late 1970s. Diane Lane, Laurence Olivier. It was her first movie, remember?
Georgie: Right. Yeah.
Georgie: But, Dillon, when?
Dillon: I don't know. Anytime you want -- tomorrow, 10 years from now. Doesn't matter because I'm still going to be with you, and I'm just going to keep on loving you more and more every day.
Georgie: I love you, too.
Dillon: You know, I've -- I've always known and I've always said that you're beautiful and smart and funny and perfect and witty. But tonight, I think I realized something, and that is that you're more than those things. You're my entire world.
Maxie: You look like you haven't slept in a month.
Felicia: Well, that's about how I feel.
Maxie: Why don't you go home?
Felicia: I just want to stay here and look at you and look at Georgie, and think about how I am the luckiest mother in the whole world.
Maxie: You could do that in the morning, mom.
Felicia: You trying to get rid of me?
Maxie: No. You just seem really wiped, and no amount of cafeteria coffee could save you, so why don't you say good night to Georgie and go home?
Felicia: You're a bit pushy, aren't you?
Maxie: It's because I love you. Thanks for everything, mom.
Felicia: You sure you're going to be ok?
Maxie: I'll be fine. And I'll see you in the morning because I promise you I'll be here. My cheeks will be even pinker, and I'll probably be complaining about the cafeteria breakfast.
Felicia: I love you, sweetheart.
Elizabeth: Are you ok?
Bobbie: Eh, I'm fine.
Carly: How are Georgie and Maxie doing?
Bobbie: They both pulled through.
Carly: Oh --
Bobbie: So we're expecting them to make full recoveries.
Carly: I'm glad. How about John? What -- what happened during his surgery?
Bobbie: He started bleeding heavily, and we managed to stop it, so hopefully he's going to be fine.
Carly: I'm still mad at him about siding with Alan and saying that Michael should live at the Quartermaines'.
Bobbie: Yeah, well, your father likes to create controversy.
Carly: And sometimes he's just plain nasty. Like what he did to you tonight -- that was just hateful.
Bobbie: I can handle it.
Carly: Well, you shouldn't have to. It's not ok with me. I don't even know if I'm on speaking terms with John right now. But I just want him to be around to not speak to. I want him to recover so I can stay mad at him for a long time.
Reese: Alexis, are you asking me to sleep with your husband?
Alexis: Soon-to-be ex-husband, which is exactly why I'm suggesting it because the New York statutes require demonstrative cause for divorce, and adultery would do the trick.
Reese: Is this really necessary?
Alexis: Oh, you don't have --
Ric: Alexis, please.
Alexis: You two are attractive people. You might enjoy it. Look, our marriage is over for all intents and purposes, and we're just trying to wrap things up.
Reese: Ok, Alexis, I'm sorry, but I'm involved with Sonny, and I'm really not the sort of person who sleeps around.
Alexis: Really? Oh. Hmm. It was worth a try.
Reese: Ok, this divorce is between you and Ric, so I'm going to let you discuss it privately.
Ric: Thank you.
Alexis: Well, thanks, anyway.
Ric: So you feel better?
Alexis: Yes, actually. You know, I'm a solution-oriented person --
Ric: Yeah, but I don't think Reese liked your solution, and neither did I.
Alexis: I'm trying to solve a problem here.
Alexis: And, you know, I'm really in no shape for a fling myself, not to mention that my regrettable one-night stand was a one-night thing. One-nighters are not really my style.
Ric: Oh, and they're my style, is that it? What gives you the right to pimp me out to Reese?
Alexis: I was just trying to find a simple and effective way to end our brief crash-and-burn marriage.
Ric: Oh, oh, ok, of course. And no consideration to me to let me in on the idea first? You know, you just went with it, just tell Reese right in front of me? Is that it?
Alexis: While you take the higher ground?
Ric: If that's the way you want to put it, Alexis, yeah.
Alexis: Why is that, Ric? Is it that you couldn't possibly commit such a heinous act?
Ric: What are you so angry about?
Alexis: I'm not angry. I'm just fed up!
Ric: You know what? That makes two of us, all right? Look, you married me for convenience. You married me to help your situation. The sex was good, so you decided to stay --
Alexis: What? Yeah, that's why every girl stays in a marriage because the sex is good -- hoo-hoo! Lie? I lie to you? Imagine that?
Ric: Yeah, yes, you did.
Alexis: The pillar of honesty.
Ric: Now, I'm not saying that I'm perfect, Alexis, ok, but I can expect my wife to --
Alexis: You know what, why don't you find yourself a nice simpleton with a vapid personality --
Ric: Oh, boy.
Alexis: And have sex with her and expedite our divorce? You might even like it. Then you can marry her and have all the children you want.
Ric: No, I'm not attracted to simpletons, Alexis.
Alexis: Well, you should try. Maybe you'd like it.
Ric: Case in point -- I was attracted to you.
Alexis: Until you made the mistake of marrying me.
Ric: I didn't consider our marriage a mistake.
Alexis: Then why are you so desperate to get out of it?
Ric: Wait a minute here. I'm desperate? I'm not the one who's pushing the other into a one-night stand.
Alexis: It's a little difficult for me, don't you think? I'm pregnant!
Ric: Well, have you tried?
Alexis: Are you suggesting that I should?
Ric: That's not what I'm saying --
Alexis: You know, I really appreciate this, all your sensitivity and all, but I'm really not interested in an affair. You know why? Because I'm not interested in men anymore. In fact, I'm never going to get involved with another one as long as I live because I have horrible taste in them!
Alan: I didn't need you to come down here.
Monica: What you need is a muzzle and a choke chain.
Alan: Oh, that's really mature of you, Monica.
Monica: Stop harassing Jason. We've had enough of it, Alan!
Ofc. Murphy: Excuse me, Mac? Forensics are in on the gun we found at the courthouse.
Mac: We have a suspect.
Mac: No. You're free to go.
Jason: Alan, stay away from Michael.
Alan: Or what, you'll kill me?
Monica: I am so sorry, Jason.
Jason: It's ok. I appreciate you coming down, and thanks for loving Michael.
Alan: Did you see the look in his eyes? He would kill me.
Monica: Oh --
Mac: The PCPD is not the place to work out your family problems.
Monica: Translated -- that means, Alan, that when you pick up the paper tomorrow and read about some random crime somewhere, don't call Mac and tell him that Jason did it!
Alan: Take off your rose-colored glasses, Monica. Jason is a criminal.
Monica: Why are you so determined to see your son behind bars?
Alan: My sons are dead.
Mac: Would you take this discussion someplace else?
Monica: You listen to me. You favored Jason over A.J. from the moment he was born! You made that painfully clear to everybody, especially to A.J., which is why he was emotionally damaged. And now, just because years later you cannot live with the consequences of that rotten parenting, you have decided that Jason is responsible for A.J.'s misguided life!
Alan: Jason is responsible for A.J.'s death.
Monica: Stop it, Alan!
Alan: Even if he didn't smother A.J., he started the events in motion. He stole Michael from A.J., and that started A.J. in a downward spiral --
Monica: A.J.'s heart was broken way before Michael was even born, and that was thanks to you.
Alan: It must be so convenient for you, Monica, to have me around to blame. After all, I'm the only one who ever stood up for A.J.
Monica: Well, speaking of having you around, I don't want you around, Alan. Don't even think about coming home tonight.
Mac: Wait a minute. Wait. Take him with you.
Monica: And you stay away from Michael. That child has enough to deal with without your self-indulgent hysterics.
Alan: Michael is my last link to A.J. I will be part of his life.
Michael: Alan keeps blaming Jason for killing A.J.
Sam: Well, Alan is not thinking clearly.
Michael: He's getting Jason in trouble with the police, and I'm the one who killed A.J. What if he gets arrested?
Sam: No, no, no, no, no, no. Whoa, whoa, whoa. First of all, Jason is not going to get arrested. He told you the truth. He didn't do anything. They have no evidence to support that. Secondly, it doesn't matter what Alan says. He can go to the police. He can go to anybody. He is so grief-stricken right now that everybody knows how confused he is. Do you understand that?
Michael: But he's so mad.
Sam: I know, I know. And it's ok to feel sorry for him and hope that his pain and his grief go away.
Michael: He's mad at something that I did.
Sam: No, Michael. You are not responsible for the way Alan is acting right now, nor should you feel guilty about what happened with A.J. Hey, none of that was your fault.
Singer: She's got a way yeah, she does writin' any day you know she'll care, now all I can say is I can use a little sunshine around here
Singers: She smiles like she's got herself a secret
Singer: But she ain't got time for love
Dillon: When they said that you might die, it was the hardest moment of my entire life. I felt so helpless. And here you are, this close to death, and there's nothing I can do.
Georgie: Dillon -- Dillon, you were here. That meant so much to me.
Dillon: Are you kidding me? I had to be here. I would've driven myself nuts if I was anywhere else. I had to know exactly how you were doing every second of every moment. I tried for a second to imagine my life without you, and it didn't work. I guess it just shows how much I need you around.
Georgie: I need you, too.
Dillon: I want you to know, I decided something when I was sitting here. I'm not going to film school.
Georgie: No, Dillon, you have to go. That's your dream.
Dillon: No, it's -- yes, it's my dream, and I can still have a film career. But I can go to P.C.U. or some other community college.
Georgie: No, no, Dillon. Dillon, you cannot make that sacrifice.
Dillon: Look at me. Leaving you is the sacrifice. And I'm not going to do that. I almost lost you tonight forever, and yet, you're here. You're here with me right now. I -- wow! I'm not leaving you ever again.
Maxie: I had a feeling I'd see you again.
Jesse: I'm Jesse, by the way.
Maxie: Maxie Jones.
Jesse: Heard you say you're feeling ok.
Maxie: I am.
Jesse: That's good.
Maxie: I think so.
Jesse: I came back to thank you for covering for me.
Maxie: You're welcome.
Jesse: Why did you?
Maxie: Because I believe you.
Courtney: Well, I guess my big rite of summer was a bust.
Jax: I'm not disappointed. Are you?
Courtney: Not really.
Jax: You know, the night's still young. We could try again.
Jax: And again after that.
Courtney: I admire your determination.
John: Hey, Carly.
Carly: Yeah, it's me. Don't read too much into it. How are you feeling?
Carly: Well, no, of course you do. You just had major surgery.
John: No. No, something's wrong. Oh, God. I can't feel my legs.
Sam: Whoa! Jason's here! I told you!
Michael: They let you go!
Jason: Yeah, I told you they'd let me go.
Michael: Well, I'm still worried.
Jason: You -- you came down to the police station to tell the cops that you killed A.J., didn't you?
Michael: You were in trouble for something that I did.
Jason: Ok, but that -- but that was an accident, Michael. We got to keep this a secret.
Michael: But -- but --
Jason: No, no, no. Just remember what we talked about, ok? You can't tell anyone unless Sonny or I say it's ok. No one can know that you're the one that killed A.J.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Edward: Get rid of that!
John: I want to know who did this to me and I want them to pay. Tell me what happened.
Michael: You cannot tell anyone.
