Nikolas: If you have any doubts, if you're afraid at all, please, just --
Emily: I love you, Nikolas.
Georgie: What do you mean, Maxie? You can't say goodbye.
Maxie: I have something to tell you. Do you know those pink shoes that dad bought you for your birthday? I took them.
Georgie: Of course you did. You always take my best stuff.
Maxie: Well, I think you should take them back. They're in my closet.
Georgie: Why? Maxie, you're just going to borrow them again as soon as we get out of here.
Maxie: Oh, Georgie. You're such a pain. You do know how much I love you, right?
Georgie: Stop, Maxie, please! No, you can't die!
Jason: You and Reese ought to work on that story. It doesn't add up.
Ric: It happened exactly the way I said, Jason.
Jason: Ok. So you're telling me Reeseís ex-con, ex-husband comes to Port Charles, demands money, ends up dead --
Jason: With you and Reese standing over his body?
Ric: I shot him in self-defense, unlike you.
Jason: Then why did you insist that Sonny had to leave --
Ric: Well, I don't know. Are you kidding me? What? Durant's going to show up here. You don't think he's going to pin it on the both of you?
Jason: What, you want me to thank you?
Ric: No. You know what? I did it for Sonny. You just got lucky this time.
Jason: Yeah, that's right. That's who you did it for. What, are you Sonny's big defender now? Or is it Reese? Which one?
Ric: You know, you're working on a full-blown case of paranoia. Or maybe it's jealousy.
Sonny: I don't claim to be perfect. Obviously, there's a lot I can't tell you. But I'll never lie to your face. And I don't want you to lie to mine.
Reese: Well, I can't change what happened. But I can be honest with you from now on. Is that good enough?
Sonny: It'll have to be, I guess.
John: What's the problem?
Alan: Our grandson, Michael.
John: Well, is he all right?
Alan: Nothing beyond the trauma he's already lived through. Look, you know that he's a special child. He's smart and resilient.
John: Yeah, he's a bright kid.
Alan: He's bright enough to know he doesn't want to live with his mother, especially now that she's married another hoodlum. And his psychiatrist says it's unhealthy for him to be living with Sonny.
John: Ok. So far, we're on the same page.
Alan: You're the D.A. What's the possibility of you pulling some strings in family court and getting him put someplace safe? Somewhere he can get past all the terrible things he's already lived through?
John: Like with his paternal grandparents?
Alan: What a good idea.
John: I'd have access to Michael whenever I wanted to see him.
Alan: Of course.
John: Wasn't a question. I think I have a judge who might be receptive.
Carly: Try to take Michael away from me and Sonny, and it'll be the last thing you ever do.

Ric: What's the problem, Jason? What, is it that Sonny all of a sudden realizes that I'm blood and you're not? And you just don't like that?
Jason: Well, if that's the way you want to see it, Ric, that's fine.
Ric: No, no, really -- no, I think you're just so threatened by me that you're willing to throw something ugly at Sonny's feet so you can prove to him that I'm no longer to be trusted ever, ever. Like I'm always out to get him, right?
Jason: You are.
Ric: No, you can spin it any way you want. I really don't care. See, Sonny knows. All the chances that I let go by where I could have done substantial damage, Jason --
Jason: It's a smokescreen, Ric!
Ric: Jason, you don't like me, ok? I don't really care. My brother's willing to put the past where it belongs, and so am I. So you want to come after me, fine, but you know the truth. And whatever you think that I have done here today that makes you so suspicious, Sonny sees it differently. And you know it.
Nikolas: I don't want to be selfish. I want this to be perfect for both of us.
Emily: Nikolas --
Singer: Let's shut out the world let's turn down the moon 'cause we don't want this night ending too soon intoxicating connection and I lose track of time this moment's perfection your heart beats with mine I'm on cloud nine I want to feel your lips on my lips I want to feel your arms around me feel your love surround me when we kiss ooh like this it's addicting, baby and it drives me crazy every night and every day and it takes me away and it takes me away and it takes me away ooh and it takes me away uh-huh and it takes me away and it takes me away
Lucky: Alexis -- hey, do you have a minute?
Alexis: Sure. I do. Do you mind if we sit down for a second, though? My feet are killing me. This pregnancy is making my feet swell already. Can you believe that? How was yours, by the way? You probably had a nice one.
Elizabeth: Oh, it was great. With Cameron, I absolutely loved being pregnant. Which is exactly why we need to talk to you.
Alexis: Are you having a baby?
Elizabeth: No, not yet. We need some legal advice first.
Lucky: Elizabeth wants to be a surrogate. We'd like you to draw up the contracts.
Reese: Evan was dead when I got there.
Sonny: Did Ric say anything more about why they fought?
Reese: I'm sure it happened just like Ric said. Evan panicked, he pulled a gun, and Ric acted in self-defense. You know, the truth is I'm glad Evanís dead. And I'm deeply grateful that you're not the one that shot him.
Sonny: Yeah, me, too.
Reese: So can this be over now?
Sonny: One more thing. Now that Evanís dead, there's no need for you to live here, you know.
Reese: Are you throwing me out?
Sonny: No, I'm not throwing you out. It's just that Michaelís still recovering. I don't want to shove the relationship down his throat.
Reese: I understand. If you remember, it wasn't my idea to be your houseguest in the first place. I need to find my own place in Port Charles and get started on my own career.
Sonny: At least you don't ask for much. What happened to your plans to move to Manhattan?
Reese: You wanted me to stay, so I thought -- I want to leave the bureau and open up a law practice with your brother.
Sonny: When did you and Ric get tight?
Carly: What's next? Steal my son like that sick freak A.J. did and twist his mind against his parents?
Alan: You and Sonny did a fine job on your own.
Carly: Ok, Michael went through hell because of what A.J. did.
John: Whatever Michael -- Carly, whatever Michael has been through is because of your lousy taste in husbands. Which, by the way, hasn't changed with your latest one. It is time for you to grow up and start becoming a decent mother and doing what is right for your kids.
Bobbie: Hey! Hey, hey. What is going on?
Carly: Michael's two loving grandparents have joined forces to take him away from me and Sonny.
Bobbie: They can't do that.
Carly: Oh, no, it gets better. Alan thinks Michaelís going to live with him in the same house that warped A.J.
Bobbie: I suppose we have to excuse Alan because Alan is misguided by grief. But you? What were you thinking?
John: I love Michael. I'm doing what's best for Michael.
Bobbie: No, you are using Michael to punish Sonny and Carly. That is not love.
John: Considering the kind of mother that you've been to Carly, I wouldn't go around judging anyone else.
Bobbie: And I wouldn't go there at all if I were you, John.
Carly: Back off, John, that's none of your business.
Jason: Hey, hey, what's going on?
Carly: Hey, these two are planning to take Michael away from us and move him into the Quartermaines'.
Jason: Michael knows where he wants to live. It's not with you. Just leave this alone.
Alan: What, is that a threat?
Jason: Why are you even involved in this, Durant?
Alan: What do you know about family? You turned your back on the people who loved you, who raised you. Your opinion's worth nothing.
Jason: For the last time, leave Michael alone.
Alan: Even though Sonny was acquitted, Michael is still living with his father's killer.
Jason: You want to live with this craziness over A.J., I don't care, but don't get near Michael. Either of you.
John: When are you going to appreciate that I'm your father, and I'm looking out for you and your kids?
Carly: I'm waiting for you to be a father worth having.
John: Whoa, whoa -- like your mother? Who didn't have the good sense to stop you from two unconscionable marriages? But then again, look at her. Trash. You're turning out just like her.
Bobbie: Oh, go to hell, John!
Carly: You're the one who was dragged out of the gutter. I wish I never found you.
Carly: Are you ok? You ok?
Bobbie: Yeah. The only decent thing that man ever did was give me you.
Reese: I watched Ric during the trial. And whatever bad blood between the two of you, you know, he's -- he chose Michaelís well-being over helping Durant. And it cost him his career.
Sonny: He'll land on his feet. He always does.
Reese: Well, Ric and I both need a place to settle. And he knows all the players in town. He's a really smart attorney. Sonny, I -- I like his style.
Sonny: Well --
Reese: Do you have a problem with it?
Sonny: If I did, would it matter?
Reese: I run my own life, and any man I share it with has to accept that.
Sonny: You know, there was a time I would have fought you on that, but I'm starting to actually accept that people can change. And Ric is doing everything he can to do that.
Reese: I'm glad you see that. I'm glad. Ok, I'm going to go home to the Metro Court. And I will leave my door unlocked.
Sonny: Like that would ever stop me.
Nikolas: This exact moment right here -- holding you after we made love -- is what kept me alive in that place. I wouldn't let myself believe that I might never feel this way again.
Emily: Hmm. It feels so good to be close to you.
Nikolas: Are you sure I didn't hurt you?
Emily: You could never hurt me.
Nikolas: Will you stay tonight?
Emily: Hello? Michael? Is that you? Is something wrong?
Michael: No, I just want to say hi.
Emily: You should be asleep. Did you have a nightmare?
Michael: I think -- I'm not sure.
Emily: But you sound upset, Michael. I can hear it in your voice.
Michael: It's ok. There are other people here. Huh. I'm sorry to bother you.
Nikolas: What happened?
Emily: He wouldn't say why, but -- but he was upset.
Nikolas: You need to go see him?
Emily: No, no. I'm here now.
Nikolas: Look, I know what it feels like to grow up surrounded by secrets and mysteries and conversations that never made sense to a child. And it's a lonely place to be, let me tell you. So go on, go ahead.
Emily: Nikolas, are you sure?
Nikolas: Yeah, absolutely. He needs you. Besides, I have something to hold on to now.
Emily: Yeah, I'll come back later. I want to wake up with you in the morning.
Maxie: I'm not afraid. I know how much you love me.
Felicia: More than you'll ever know.
Georgie: You can't give up, Maxie. Please, you have to fight.
Maxie: I tried. It's my heart. It's just tired. Georgie, the pink box under my bed --
Georgie: Yeah? What about it?
Maxie: It has our to-do lists in it. It's your turn now.
Georgie: No, Maxie. No, those are ours, the things we have to do together.
Maxie: You have to be the one.
Georgie: No, Maxie, please. Maxie, I wouldn't know where to begin to look for a unicorn. Please.
Maxie: You'll figure it out. And you have to take a hot-air balloon trip around the world. And don't forget to make out with a boy under the Bridge of Sighs. Make it that cute one over there.
Dillon: We can do that.
Maxie: See, Georgie? You have to promise me, please.
Georgie: I promise, Maxie, but -- but I will not say goodbye. No -- no, Maxie.
Mac: She's sleeping. She's sleeping. The monitor's still working.
Monica: Well, that's good. There's another medication that I -- I'm going to use.
Bobbie: Hey. All right, what's going on?
Monica: Well, I'm trying her out on new medication, but I don't think it's working.
Bobbie: Beautiful teenager in there with so much to offer just fading away. Meanwhile, these monsters are allowed to run free and destroy lives.
Monica: Any particular monster in mind?
Bobbie: It's not worth wasting my breath. I'd rather pray for Maxie.
Felicia: Georgie? Georgie?
Mac: We need help in here!
[Knock on door]
Emily: You need someone to play those with you?
Michael: You came!
Emily: Yeah, what else would I do? That's a lot of games.
Michael: Eh -- it's just something that'll keep my mind busy so I don't fall asleep.
Emily: Well, everybody needs sleep.
Michael: But that's when the nightmares come.
Emily: Is that what happened tonight?
Michael: I was reading my comic, and then I guess I fell asleep, and something was chasing me.
Emily: Oh, Michael. Yeah, I've had some bad dreams like that. And I have to tell myself they're not real. And then I try to think of happy thoughts. You know? Like the beach at sunset, hot fudge sundaes.
Michael: I'm hungry. Um --
Michael: That -- I think that's why I called. I guess you're my happy thought.
Emily: I'm glad you did. Michael, you can call me anytime. You know? But if I'm not there, or if I can't come over for some reason, then you know you have your parents, right? They'll do anything to make you feel safe.
Michael: They're just sort of busy lately. Dad has Reese, and mom just got a new husband.
Emily: Yeah. Well, life gets pretty complicated when you're older.
Michael: But you had time. Don't you have anybody to be complicated with?
Sonny: No, I don't want to -- I don't want to hear any more excuses. I want it done tonight.
Carly: I hope you're happy.
Sonny: Well, that depends on what you're accusing me of.
Carly: Moving Reese into this house.
Sonny: Shh. Listen to me. You are married. You got to let it go --
Carly: Ok, this isn't about me. Michael was upset enough to tell his shrink, who told Alan, who's now conspiring with my father to take Michael away from us and move him into the Quartermaines'.
Sonny: It's not going to happen!
Carly: Ok -- do you think you could be a little more sensitive --
Sonny: Like you --
Carly: To your son's needs?
Sonny: Like you and Alcazar? The reason that Michael lives with me -- because he can't stand Alcazar. Don't talk to me about Reese.
Carly: I'm in love with him and I'm married! I'm not shacking up with some bimbo because I can't bear to sleep alone.
Sonny: Watch it. She needs protection because somebody was trying to kill her.
Carly: I mean -- ok. She could have told you about her ex-husband, but she lied. She's after something much bigger, Sonny. There's more to Reese than she's saying.
Reese: Ric? It's time we get serious about opening our own firm.
Ric: Yeah, funny. You know, I've been -- I've been thinking about that and I really don't think it's a good idea.
Alexis: And then, of course, you're going to have to get a mandatory physical.
Elizabeth: Oh, well, I'm so healthy it's insane. And I had such an easy time with Cameron that this should be a breeze.
Alexis: So what about you? How do you feel about this? Is it going to be ok with you that she's pregnant with somebody else's child for nine months? You go through this, you know.
Lucky: Well, as long as Elizabethís ok with it.
Alexis: You were pregnant with Zanderís baby when you were with Ric. Was that all right?
Elizabeth: Oh, Ric and I didn't work out for a lot of reasons. None of them had to do with the pregnancy. And Lucky knows that. But, Alexis, if you're uncomfortable with this --
Alexis: No, not at all.
Elizabeth: We can find somebody else.
Alexis: Not at all. The only thing is this is a little more complicated than you think. If you two are planning on getting married, there could be a custody problem. If he's your husband at the time that you have this baby, he is considered the legal father.
Lucky: We didn't think about that.
Alexis: It's a little more complicated than you think. And we really need to talk about it. Now's not a good time. Why don't you guys make an appointment, come down to the office, and we'll get into it later.
Lucky: Ok. Thank you, Alexis.
Alexis: You bet.
Elizabeth: Ok. Come on. Did you detect a little attitude back there, or was it just me?
Lucky: Well, she does have a right to ask those questions.
Elizabeth: Why? What's on your mind? Tell me.
Lucky: Doesn't it bother you at all that you're going to have to give this child up?
Elizabeth: Well, of course I'm going to get a little attached. But I'm not going to back out.
Reese: Why the cold feet, counselor?
Ric: Come on, Reese. You and Sonny? We go into business together; you don't think you're going to tempt fate? You could blow that whole relationship right out --
Reese: He knows. I told him.
Ric: What do you mean, he knows?
Reese: I -- we discussed us going into business together. He was surprised, but he didn't try to talk me out of it. He's started to trust you.
Reese: Next step, brotherly love.
Ric: Yeah, not so much if he finds out that I'm keeping your secret. Or should I say, Charlotte's secret?
Alexis: Hey. Who's Charlotte?
Ric: Uh -- she's a prospective client.
John: Heads up, you two. I need you to come down to my office to make your statements about Evan Tucker's death -- separately.
Ric: You know what, Durant? You're just blowing smoke. I already admitted that it was self-defense, ok?
John: Uh-huh. It's what you haven't admitted that I'm interested in. Surprise!!!
Reese: Everybody get down! Come on!
Lucky: Get back inside right now!
Reese: Get down!
Lucky: There's been a shooting!
Ofc. Murphy: I heard gunshots. What's going on? What's going on?
Lucky: Listen, I want you to go seal the building off right now. I'm going to go check the corridors.
Ofc. Murphy: You got it. Hey, you check the west side. I'm going north. This way. Go, go, go, go!
Ofc. Murphy: We have gunshots down on the first level, the ground floor.
Elizabeth: Mr. Durant, can you hear me?
John: Yeah, my back.
John: Ah, God!
Alexis: I'm ok, I'm just not sure about the baby.
Ric: You're sure? All right, all right. Yes, we need an ambulance at the courthouse, first floor. It's a gunshot victim.
Reese: Hey, how you doing, John?
John: Oh, how do you think?
Ric: Can you stand up?
Alexis: No, I'm all right. I just -- I want to go to G.H. I want to check on the baby.
Ric: All right, ok, just slow -- slow, please.
Alexis: I'm fine.
Ric: Easy, easy. It's ok.
John: All right. All right. Tell me, what do you see? What is it? Ah!
Elizabeth: Well, it doesn't look critical, but the bullet -- it's still in you. Ok.
John: Oh! You hear that, Reese? It doesn't look critical, so don't start celebrating yet!
Lucky: Save your breath, Durant, she's gone. You all right?
John: Oh. God!
Tony: You know, I cannot imagine what you were thinking. Georgie is recovering from brain surgery.
Felicia: Tony, please. I could lose them both.
Tony: Not if I can help it. I'm going to order more tests. I'm worried about cranial bleeding, but the next time that I give post-op instructions, try to follow them, all right?
Dillon: This is all my fault. I -- I did it. I woke her up. I wheeled her into the other room, I --
Mac: You know, listen. Georgie would never forgive us if we didn't give her a chance to say goodbye to Maxie.
Jason: Is Sonny here?
Sam: No, no, no, no, no. You might want to stay clear. Carly is on a tear.
Jason: Well, she needs to calm down because there's no way we are going to let Michael live with Alan.
Sam: Durant is the D.A. He can call in a favor from the custody judge.
Jason: That's not going to happen, ok? And Alan better be careful how hard he pushes because people push back, you know what I'm saying?
Sam: No, no, Jason, no! Do not let Alan get to you. He is filled with his own grief right now. Alan probably thinks that he can fix for Michael what was broken for A.J. then he wouldn't be such a failure. Durant is a powerful man and he could call in some favors.
Jason: That's one more reason Durant needs to be stopped.
Sonny: Carly, you need to calm down. Durant cannot take Michael.
Carly: How can you be so sure?
Sonny: Second, Reese already went back to her hotel because the man who was trying to kill her is dead. There's no threat to her now.
Carly: Bet she wasn't happy about that.
Sonny: No. Actually, it was kind of her decision. She did it for Michael.
Carly: For God's sake, Sonny, why can't you tell when you're being manipulated?
Sonny: What? Enough with this, ok? Look, I'm not your husband. Let it go.
Carly: Ok, yeah -- no, I know, you're a pig-headed, chauvinistic, unforgiving bastard, but for whatever reason, I care about you. Go figure.
Sonny: You know what? This is just like it is with Jason. You refuse to let any woman in our lives except you. Now, I call Alcazar slime and you go marry the guy!
Carly: I'm in love with Lorenzo.
Sonny: Oh, I'm sure you're in love with him. I'm thrilled that you're in love with him. Well, go tell him how to live his life. Mine's off-limits!
[Knock on door]
Carly: This is private.
Reese: I thought you'd want to know that your father's been shot.
Sonny: What are you talking --?
Carly: I just saw him.
Reese: He was at the courthouse. He's alive, but he's on his way to G.H. May I speak to you alone for a minute?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can you --
Jason: Yeah, I'll -- I'll just check -- yeah.
Sam: I'll be in the foyer.
Reese: Ahem. I was standing right next to him, Sonny. Me, Alexis, your brother, Lucky Spencer and his girlfriend -- we were all in a group.
Sonny: Maybe the shooter wasn't aiming for Durant.
Reese: It was like he had a bull's-eye on his back. I mean, that kind of aim -- it was no amateur.
Sonny: Well, what are you trying -- what are you trying to tell me?
Reese: Did you have anything to do with Durant being shot? Move it along. Nothing to see.
Sonny: You sound like a fed.
Reese: You didn't answer my question. Did you order a hit on Durant?
Sonny: No, the only thing I actually ordered was two dozen roses sent to your hotel room.
Reese: I don't know why, but I believe you.
Sonny: You know why? Because you got great instincts.
Reese: All right, I want you to know that this is the last time that I'm going to ask you about your work.
Sonny: Whoa. That may be a first for me.
Reese: Yeah. I mean, I told you before, I want my own life and my own career and I want you. That's the way it has to work.
Sonny: I'm sorry. You're not laying down the ground rules are you, right now?
Reese: Well, you could call it whatever you want.
Reese: I'm a lawyer and I'm not going to be your alibi.
Reese: I'm not going to be your accomplice. I will not lie for you, and I will not be implicated in any of your activities, and under no circumstances will I ever go to jail for you.
Sonny: Doesn't get much clearer than that.
Reese: What we do, who we are in that respect stay separate. You ok with that?
Sonny: Maybe. What -- what's in it for me?
Reese: Me, and I'm worth it.
Reese: I'm going to go back home now. If you want to stop by and smell the flowers that you sent --
Sonny: Hmm. I'd love to, but I -- Michael had another bad dream and I -- I got to stay with him tonight.
Reese: Oh, ok. No, that's good. It's all right.
Reese: Ok, then.
Sonny: All right. Oh, you might've forgotten something. Um --
Sonny: Um -- tomorrow, we play by my rules.
Michael: Emily said whenever I have a bad dream that I should just keep telling myself that it's not real and to think happy thoughts.
Jason: Emily's very smart.
Michael: But it's not like what I did with A.J. That was not a dream. I know that.
Jason: Are you -- you know, are you happy living here?
Jason: Well, Alan and John Durant -- you know, they think you might be happier living at the Quartermaines'.
Michael: Please don't make me go there.
Jason: No, no, no, buddy, I'm not. I'm not. I just want you -- you know, I want you to be wherever you're happy.
Michael: I don't want to leave dad and I don't even want to go to mom's as long as she's married to Alcazar.
Jason: Well, you don't have to.
Michael: I do not like Alan. He's always breathing on me and he's going to hate me when he finds out that I'm the one who killed A.J.
Jason: Hey, Alan never has to find that out. Ok? And if anybody asks you where you want to live, you just tell them you want to live with your dad and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that you're here. That's a promise.
Emily: Hi. Well, Jason is with Michael. I figured it was ok to go.
Sam: You know, Michael is so comfortable with you. It's very rare for him to be like that these days.
Emily: You know, I just -- I feel so bad about what happened to him. If this is one little thing I can do to help --
Sam: "One little thing"? Are you kidding me? You're going home.
Emily: Yeah, actually, uh, when Michael called, I was -- I was with Nikolas and I'm -- I'm going to go back there.
Sam: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a minute.
Sam: Do you mean, like, with, with Nikolas? Oh, my God, Emily, that's great!
Emily: Look, everything you said was true -- if I can't get past my own stuff, then I could lose him for good.
Sam: Oh, no, no, no, no. Wait a minute -- you got to sit down. I've got to hear all of this. Was it as scary as you thought it was going to be, or what?
Emily: Uh -- no. I mean, yeah, Nikolas is amazing and I was a little anxious at first, but he's so loving and gentle and all of a sudden, it was familiar again.
Sam: Good. So, it was good, yeah?
Emily: Oh, God.
Sam: I mean, I'm sorry, but --
Emily: After all those months in prison, it must've been torture for him.
Sam: Poor guy. That's all I have to say.
Emily: Yeah, I know, but he's happy now. He's very happy.
Sam: Nothing like a satisfied man.
Sam: And -- well, what about you?
Emily: Oh, God. Well, yeah. For me, it was all about, you know, getting through it.
Sam: Uh-huh -- wait a minute. No -- I'm asking, like, did your earth move satisfy?
Emily: Well, that'll happen again, sooner or later.
Sam: Oh, no! Oh.
Emily: Right now, for me, it's -- you know, it's enough just to be close to him and give him what he needs.
Sam: You faked it?
Emily: Oh --
Sam: You faked it.
Emily: Baby steps, Sam. I -- I can't even -- I can't -- sorry.
Sam: Well, wait -- well, wait. Does Nikolas know? I mean, does he know --
Sam: That you faked it?
Emily: Oh, God. Are you kidding?
Sam: Ok, good.
Emily: And he never has to.
Sam: Great. I absolutely agree. What they don't know won't hurt them.
Sam: You guys deserve a little bit of happiness. I'm happy.
Emily: Thanks, Sam.
Sam: You're welcome.
Emily: I'll see you.
Sam: Emily, have you noticed Jason being a little off lately?
Emily: Um -- he was a little more tense, you know, than usual, but sometimes his work stresses him out.
Emily: You know how that can be.
Sam: I do, yes. Thank you.
Lucky: I need you to put a list together of everybody that was in that courtroom before the shooting. I'm talking attorneys, witnesses -- all of them. You understand?
Ofc. Murphy: Lucky?
Lucky: What do you got?
Ofc. Murphy: We caught a break.
Lucky: All right, we need to run prints on this right now.
Ofc. Murphy: Ok.
Lucky: If the shooter knows that Durantís still alive, he could try again.
Elizabeth: We're leaving the E.R., Mr. Durant. We're going to go operate to get the bullet out of you, ok?
Alan: What happened?
Elizabeth: Gunshot wound, shooter at the courthouse. Ok. I have to leave you now.
John: No, no. No, I want you there when they operate.
Elizabeth: I'm sorry. I'm not an O.R. nurse.
John: Please. You've been with me since I was shot. I trust you.
Elizabeth: Mr. Durant --
John: Somebody tried to kill me. I need eyes and ears, please.
Elizabeth: Put this back on. I'll get an orderly.
Alan: Officer? I believe I have some information about the shooting of the D.A.
Ofc. Logan: Dr. Quartermaine, where can we talk?
Alan: Let's go over here.
Carly: My father was brought in -- John Durant? They said he'd been shot.
Nurse: Mr. Durant is being prepped for surgery. You won't be able to see him until he's in I.C.U. I'll see if I can find a doctor to fill you in.
Nikolas: You came back.
Emily: Yeah. I told you I would.
Maxie: I must have died and gone to heaven. Who are you?
Ofc. Murphy: His name is Jesse Beaudry. He's an undercover cop gone bad.
Lucky: How bad?
Ofc. Murphy: They say he's on the take. And that service revolver we found in the north exit? That's his, one shot fired.
Bobbie: I'm sorry. I hear we have a gunshot wound.
Tony: No, it's good you're here. That's great.
Bobbie: Oh, my God. John.
Michael: Everyone's fighting over me.
Sonny: Ah. Well, because you're special, some of us love you very much. We want to keep you close, so that way you can be safe, you know? We want you to grow up and be happy and there's other people who say they love you. They're -- but they're selfish and they want to use you to hurt other people.
Michael: How can I tell the good ones from the selfish ones?
Sonny: You got to trust your heart. Don't listen to your ears, ok? You also got to trust your instincts. That's that feeling that you get right in your gut, ok? It tells you when something's wrong, when to run, when to fight. You've got great instincts because you get that from me and a little bit from your mama.
Michael: But then how come you like Reese a lot and mom doesn't?
Reese: Excuse me. I'm checking on John Durant. A G.S.W. brought him here a little while ago?
Carly: Why do you care? This is none of your business.
Reese: I was standing next to your father when he got shot, Carly.
Carly: Oh, well, you seem to be in the middle of everything these days -- my son, my ex-husband, and now my father. Why is everything in my life so important to you?
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Courtney: You and I are going to celebrate by getting started on our baby tonight.
Boy: I need your help.
Ofc. Logan: We need you for questioning in the shooting of Durant.
Carly: It's like you've targeted my life.
Reese: Am I really that intimidating?
Carly: I'm not afraid of you.
