Jax: Welcome home, honey!
Courtney: You're so crazy.
Jax: Well, call me a traditionalist. Welcome home, Mrs. Jacks.
Courtney: Ok, right now, that luggage cart would have come in really handy.
Jax: I'm sorry, that's all full of your many, many bags. You know, I still can't figure out why you need all this designer luggage for a 15-minute trip.
Courtney: Well, if you put me down, I'll explain.
Jax: You asked for it.
Courtney: Come here, you.
Jax: What? Oh.
Elizabeth: Hey. What on earth are you doing here? Where's Em?
Nikolas: I was about to ask you that.
Elizabeth: Well, she's not here. I assumed she was --
Nikolas: What, assumed she was with me?
Elizabeth: Yeah, she called in for a personal day off.
Nikolas: Oh, yeah, and I'm sure she'll spend it as far away from me as possible.
Emily: You're killing me, Michael.
Michael: You're stronger than me, but my guns are stronger than yours. And --
Emily: Oh, no!
Michael: Get him! Yes!
Michael: Destroyed your base.
Emily: You're too good, Michael.
Michael: You're a better player than my mom. It's funny to watch her play. She destroys her own base somehow.
Emily: I bet you miss your mom.
Carly: Michael is going to love the stables.
Lorenzo: Well, he's going to like them even more once the horses arrive.
Carly: I swear this place is as big as Central Park. We could build him his own field of dreams.
Lorenzo: All you have to do is ask.
Carly: I wish Michael could be here right now. I know he could be so happy here.
Lorenzo: I'll take you to get him.
Carly: No, you canít.
Lucky: Sonny, are you -- you on your way to see Agent Marshall?
Lucky: There's -- there's something you need to know about her.
Reese: Get out.
Man: Or what?
Reese: I'll call for help.
Man: Yeah, you do that. Then I'll tell whoever shows up all about your little secret -- Charlotte.
Lucky: Agent Marshallís crash; It wasn't an accident. Somebody messed with her car. The brake lines were cut. This isn't the first time that there's been an attempt on her life.
Sonny: Thanks for the heads-up, Lucky.
Lucky: Sonny, wait, I'm just telling you this because I want you to know that the department is on top of it.
Sonny: What exactly is the department doing, Lucky?
Lucky: We're doing checks on parolees that she's put away.
Sonny: Oh, ok. I'll be able to sleep real well tonight.
Lucky: Sonny, it's none of my business, but I know you're close with Agent Marshall, all right? I figure you're going to find a way to nail whoever did this to her, but she is a law enforcement officer. We take care of our own, and I think you know a little something about that, don't you?
Sonny: Good for you, Lucky. Showing a little spine.
Lucky: I'm just trying to save you some trouble. Listen, if you hear anything about it, I'd appreciate it if you bring it to me.
Elizabeth: Aren't things getting better between you and Em at all?
Nikolas: Well, that depends on which hour of the day you ask, Elizabeth. One day, we spend a couple hours together, you know, having a good time. Then she gets scared and takes off. And then the next day, we're dancing and -- her idea, by the way -- and then she remembers that she has something important to do and disappears again.
Elizabeth: Well, maybe do you think you're being just a little too sensitive?
Nikolas: What? Are you serious? When was the last time that Emily missed a shift a work, huh? You know, the sky could be falling on top of her and she'd be here like clockwork.
Elizabeth: I know, but do you really think she's avoiding you on purpose?
Nikolas: What else would be important enough to make Emily miss work?
Sonny: I'm sorry to interrupt. Nik, you mentioned Emily? Ok, she's at my house. She's been helping out with Michael. She's been there for the last couple days.
Emily: No. Oh!
Emily: Ugh! I can't believe Carlyís worse at this than I am.
Michael: Yeah, she gets all the buttons backwards; everything ends up going in the wrong direction.
Emily: Yeah, I can understand that. It's pretty complicated.
Michael: But when she does, she tells these dumb knock-knock jokes to try and get me distracted. It doesn't work but, hey, sometimes I let her win just so that she'll be happy.
Emily: It's important to you that your mom feels good.
Michael: Doesn't matter. She doesn't care how I feel.
Emily: What? What are you talking about, Michael? That's not true. Your mom loves you so much. Both of your parents worship you.
Michael: Then how come everything's so messed up?
Emily: Listen, before Monica and Alan adopted me, I had another mom. We were really close. You know, sometimes when I see you with your mom, it reminds me of how we were. And when I was your age, she got sick. But up until then, I thought she was the strongest, like, most perfect person in the whole world. I mean, I'm sure she made plenty of mistakes, but you know how parents are. They never let you see that.
Michael: Yeah, they act like they know everything.
Emily: I know. I thought that, too. But my mom was too sick to pretend with me. So for a while, even though I was young, there were times when I had to be the parent and she was the child.
Michael: That's weird.
Emily: Yeah. But it taught me something so shocking that I've never forgotten it. Our parents aren't perfect, Michael. They do the best they can. But they were kids just like us once. They get scared a lot and their feelings get hurt and they need us to love them. You know, I guarantee that your mom is upset that you're mad at her.
Michael: I have one good reason. She married Lorenzo Alcazar.
Emily: Oh, I know, but you can't stay angry forever.
Michael: What happened to your mom?
Emily: She died. But, you know, I feel her with me every day, Michael. I only wish that I'd told her how much I loved her more often. You know, moms need to hear that.
Carly: See, Michael thinks we betrayed him because of the way we got married. I just want to show him that this is the best thing for all of us; that we're a family now.
Lorenzo: And you think if you leave me out of the picture, you'll accomplish that?
Carly: No, I just -- I just want to ease into this slowly and I want him to come here, the first thing. I just want him to be here. And if you show up with me at Sonny's, he'll resist.
Lorenzo: Ok. Then what?
Carly: Then we bring him back here and I show him what a wonderful home that you bought for all of us.
Lorenzo: And where will I be during all of this?
Carly: I just think that if you can keep a low profile so I can spend time with my son and let him get used to the idea of us.
Lorenzo: You know what, I'm more worried about Michael getting the idea that he can manipulate our lives. He'll think he has the power to make me disappear. The psychiatrist made it clear that's a dangerous message to send him.
Carly: No, I won't let that happen. But the trauma that Michaelís been through, I just can't shove you down his throat.
Lorenzo: Carly, I'm your husband. We're part of each other's lives. More importantly, I love you. And I will love your children if they let me. We just have to help Michael accept the fact that this is the way things are.
Carly: I hope that's possible.
Man: Wouldn't your old friend Caroline love to know that you're alive and well? Or at least, you know, surviving?
Reese: You had 10 more years to your sentence. Who'd you bribe to get kicked?
Man: I had information the feds wanted. In exchange, early parole. And, you know, the chance to make you pay for the way you set me up, let me rot.
Reese: You deserved worse than that country-club prison for what you did to Jamie.
Man: You know I didn't want him to die.
Reese: He was our son, even though you never wanted him.
Man: I never thought the kidnappers would go through with it.
Reese: So you did nothing to stop them.
Man: You know, this can't be healthy, hanging on to all this negative energy. It's time to let go of all that rage or it's going to eat you up from the inside.
Reese: I will never forget that you're the reason that Jamieís dead.
Man: I served my time.
Reese: Wasn't enough.
Man: Hey, I am going to build a new life, Charlotte. I am not going to let you stop me.
[Knock on door]
Sonny: How you feeling? Um, there's some things that I need to say.
Courtney: Oh. Look, honey. Your accountant gave us a breadmaker -- our fourth.
Jax: Wow. Guess that's for all the bread that you're going to make.
Courtney: Ok, I choose to ignore that. Why don't you do the next one? I'm going to get a pen and paper to write down who gave what.
Courtney: Hey, what do you say instead of -- instead of returning all the duplicates of things we don't even need, we just give it to some of the local charities?
Jax: I'd say that'd be very generous of you. You know, I still can't get over a kitchen appliance from my accountant.
Courtney: Oh, come on, what do you give the man who has everything?
Jax: Wow, apparently, a decorative pillow. †"Carpe diem" -- "seize the day."
Courtney: Oh, looks hand-stitched. Who's it from?
Jax: I don't know. There wasn't a card. Now we won't know who to thank for this wonderful gift. You know, it's not a bad idea, though, because I certainly feel like seizing something.
Courtney: Hey. What are these?
Jax: Um -- it's nothing much.
Courtney: Jax, those are -- those are pamphlets on infertility and gestational hosting. I didn't know that you were doing research on how we could have a baby.
Brook Lynn: Hey. Wow. Those are beautiful. You know, Maxieís -- she's going to love them. And, you know, who could blame her, because they're beautiful. And when you're getting flowers when you're sick in bed, you know -- but you know what, Maxieís been great because she doesn't feel sorry for herself at all, you know, and she's been so positive about all this.
Diego: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. These flowers aren't for Maxie. They're for you.
Carly: Mr. Man. What's going on?
Emily: Oh, I'm getting clobbered by the video whiz kid here.
Carly: Land racer?
Michael: She's almost as bad as you.
Emily: I'm going to take Michael to his appointment with Dr. Thomas this afternoon.
Carly: Oh, nice. Actually, that's a perfect chance for us to go over and see our new place. There's so much fun stuff for you to do.
Michael: Will he be there?
Carly: Well, yeah. Lorenzo bought the house for you and Morgan and me. He's my new husband. Of course he's going to be there.
Michael: I won't like it.
Emily: Michael, you'll never know if you don't give it a chance.
Carly: Emily's right. Look, just go over there. We'll just go look at it. We'll go check out the stables and the lake and your new room. What do you say?
Emily: Sounds like a plan to me. What do you say, Michael?
Carly: Oh, great.
Reese: Actually, I'm not feeling very well right now, Sonny. I think I'd just like to get some sleep.
Sonny: I'm not going to stay long. I'm not going to stay long. I just spoke to the cops. They said what happened to you was not an accident.
Reese: Sonny, just let the cops handle it.
Sonny: Someone tried to kill you. You're not surprised?
Reese: I'll be fine.
Sonny: Ok, this has happened already. And I know that you might have an idea who did this.
Reese: You know, I have a lot of enemies. You know that.
Sonny: Who do you suspect?
Reese: It could be one of a hundred people.
Sonny: But it's not and you're not telling me the truth. Why?
Nikolas: Guy outside let me in, knew I was your husband.
Emily: Is something wrong?
Nikolas: I don't know. I went to the hospital to find you, and Sonny said you were here.
Emily: Yeah, I've been helping with Michael. He's had such a hard time lately, and for some reason, he listens to me.
Nikolas: That's nice that you can help him. Where is he? Is he here?
Emily: He left a little while ago with his mom.
Nikolas: Well, I am glad I came. I can give you a ride home. Let's go.
Emily: You know, I think I'm going to wait here for Morgan to wake up from his nap. You know, I hardly ever get to see him and Michaelís been getting so much attention lately and I just don't want the little guy to feel neglected.
Nikolas: Love those boys, huh?
Emily: Yeah, I do.
Nikolas: That's great. It is. And, hey, look at this place. Guards, gates, security systems. It's the perfect place to hide.
Emily: You don't understand what Michaelís been through.
Nikolas: I'm not talking about Michael. I'm talking about you. You're using that kid and his problems as a way to hide from me. That is what we've come to.
Carly: And Lorenzo has beautiful horses on his ranch in Venezuela and we're having some of them shipped down here, and we picked out one specifically for you. She's very sweet and she loves it when you feed her apples. Michael?
Michael: A horse would be cool.
Carly: What else?
Michael: Are those boats in the lake really his?
Lorenzo: They belong to everyone. Hi, Michael.
Carly: Will you say hi to Lorenzo?
Lorenzo: Hey, did you see those A.T.V.ís down by the boathouse? There's miles of trails here. You're not allowed to go alone yet, but I could go with you.
Michael: Max takes me places I can't go alone yet.
Carly: Michael, you're going to love it here. You deserve to have fun now. This place is going to be a really special place for us.
Michael: With him?
Carly: Well, yeah, Lorenzo's going to live with me and I'm going to live with him, sweetheart. That's what marriage is all about. And you and Morgan can visit daddy whenever you want.
Michael: You don't care what I want. You only care about yourself. You're selfish, and everyone knows it.
Lorenzo: That's not true, Michael. Your mother loves you.
Carly: More than anything.
Michael: You didn't care about me or Morgan when you married him. So I don't care about this house or horses or anything. I don't need it and I don't need you.
Brook Lynn: Ok, but why did you get me flowers?
Diego: Because that's what you do when you like someone.
Brook Lynn: Diego, you like Maxie, ok? That's ok.
Diego: Of course I like Maxie. Just not the same way.
Brook Lynn: You know what, stop. What does "same way" -- what are you talking about?
Diego: Are you -- are you serious?
Brook Lynn: Yes, I'm serious. I would really like to know the difference.
Diego: Ok, look, Maxieís going through something I've never seen before, all right? Her heart is barely working. She's fighting for her life. We were there when it happened, remember?
Brook Lynn: Right.
Diego: Ok, and, I don't know, I think that -- I think that there's a reason for why I met her before this whole thing went down. I don't know, like it's because in some way I'm supposed to help her, keep her from giving up or something.
Brook Lynn: That's pretty intense.
Diego: Yeah. Look, I've been meaning to talk to you about it. I've missed you, Brook.
Brook Lynn: Sorry. I thought you just ditched me.
Diego: Well, I was upset when you gave me all that grief about the car and the clothes and how I became a different guy.
Brook Lynn: I'm sorry, ok? Money changes people. I just got scared.
Diego: Yeah, I wouldn't know. I've never had any. Look, Brook, I'm not going to apologize for having nice things, ok, and I don't believe that being friends with Maxieís a warm-up for me to hit on every girl in Port Charles, ok? I'm the same jerk I always was.
Brook Lynn: No, you don't get it. Diego, you were hot already without the wheels and the wardrobe, and being counterculture -- I don't know, it was our common ground, you know? Sorry, I just freaked out when I saw you walking around in these designer clothes like if you'd always worn them.
Diego: Did you think I was going to change that fast, become different?
Brook Lynn: I just figured you'd put pedal to the metal and leave me in the dust. I don't know.
Diego: No, listen, I want to share this with you, ok? Whenever something good happens, you're the first one I want to call.
Elizabeth: Hey! Wait till you see what I got on sale today. It is the most amazing little digital camera. So when Cameron does something adorable, I'll be able to get it on film -- or whatever this is. Lucky? Hello?
Lucky: How do you feel about bologna sandwiches for the next month?
Elizabeth: I like mine with mustard.
Lucky: Yeah, well, the flash will come in handy when they turn our electricity off.
Elizabeth: Oh, come on, we can handle it. Or not. How bad is it?
Lucky: You may have to move back in with your grandmother.
Courtney: Jax, I -- I had no idea that you were looking into this.
Jax: Well, I mean, it's no big deal. You know, it's just some preliminary information. There's a lot of different resources out there about infertile couples and how they can have a biological child of their own, and I thought it would be useful information to know, you know, the difference between a surrogate mother and a gestational host.
Courtney: Yeah, a surrogate uses her own ovaries, where a host uses mine after an in vitro procedure where they fertilize the egg outside the mother.
Jax: How'd you know that?
Courtney: Hmm. Well -- great minds think alike. Jax, what if this is the answer we've been looking for?
Sonny: Who cut your brakes, Reese?
Reese: If I did figure it out, I would tell the police.
Sonny: Tell me instead.
Reese: Remember me?
Reese: I'm the woman who was on her way out of town without you, so don't come in here playing hero on my behalf.
Sonny: I know why you were going. Sam told me what she said to you.
Reese: Sam has nothing to do with this.
Sonny: That, you know, for the sake of my child, that you should be out of the picture, but you're wrong because it's not better for Michael if you go because it's not better for me.
Reese: Sonny, don't do this.
Sonny: I -- I want you to stay because I want us to work out. Now, you convince me you don't feel the same.
Reese: I wish this could be about what you and I want, Sonny, but you've got a son who's in a lot of pain and he needs to know who he can count on. That's got to be his mother and his father.
Sonny: Ok, let's not confuse us with Michael. That is separate.
Reese: Not if it hurts him, Sonny, and I don't want any part of that.
Sonny: Ok, I -- something you're not telling me.
Reese: All right, Sonny, I just can't argue with you, not about this, all right? You are not my designated white knight. You're not anything to me.
Sonny: How come you're not telling me the truth?
Reese: In case you haven't noticed, Sonny, I am here in a hospital room recovering from a near-fatal accident, all right? I don't have time for you or for anything else right now.
Sonny: All right. I'm going to let you go ahead and get your strength back and then I'll talk to you later, ok?
Reese: Isn't that a violation of your parole?
Man: Don't worry about me, not while you're busy playing home-wrecker.
Reese: Shut up, Evan. You don't know what you're talking about.
Evan: You want to bet? It is all now very crystal clear. Your long-lost best friend Caroline stole your life. Now you plan to return the favor, steal hers.
Carly: Michael, you're upset. You wanted me and your father to work out, and it just isn't possible.
Michael: That's your fault.
Carly: Ok, well, whoever's fault it is, I'm still your mother and you belong here with me and your little brother.
Michael: No. I'm not going to live with you, and you can't make me.
Carly: Ok, you're too young and too angry to make that decision for yourself. I'm still your mother, I love you, and we're going to have a great life here.
Michael: I'll run away.
Lorenzo: Look, we don't have to decide this today. We have time and a lot to figure out.
Carly: Lorenzo's right.
[Knock on door]
Max: Excuse me, Mrs. C. -- Mrs. Alcazar? Michael's got his appointment.
Carly: Right. Um -- all right, you know what, we'll finish this up later. Let me just go get my stuff.
Michael: You don't have to come.
Carly: But I want to.
Michael: I'd rather see Dr. Thomas by myself. I'll be in the car, Max.
Max: All right, buddy.
Carly: Yeah, you know, go ahead. I don't want to upset him anymore before his therapy.
Lorenzo: I wish I knew the right way to handle this.
Carly: God. I don't know what to do. I donít. I'm just so scared that I'm going to lose my little boy.
Courtney: You know, I was only pregnant once in my life and I miscarried because of Lorenzo Alcazar and, you know, because of him, I can't carry a baby to full term.
Jax: I told you that I'd be fine with --
Courtney: Adopting, I know, I know, and I believe you. It's just, you know, because of something awful that happened to me, you have to pay the price.
Jax: You know, really, it's not an issue. I mean, I don't feel like I'm being punished or anything. I'm married to you. Couldn't ask for more.
Courtney: Look, I know -- I know that you love me whatever happens. But, Jax, it would be so great if I could give this to you, you know? I mean, I would love nothing more than to carry our baby to term, but these -- I don't know, this could really be our chance. I mean, we could bring home a baby that's ours, you know? A little boy, maybe he has a smile just like his daddyís.
Jax: You know, or a little girl who takes after you wouldn't be too bad, either.
Courtney: Do you know how lucky we are that money is no object?
Jax: I've never even asked how much something like this costs.
Courtney: Well, I think it's -- I think it's about $50,000 just for the woman carrying the baby.
Jax: Well, like you said, we're lucky money's no object.
Elizabeth: So this is about $50,000 in medical bills, it looks like. That is part of the hospital I don't get to see.
Lucky: Mind-blowing, huh?
Elizabeth: Mm-hmm. What happened to your insurance? I thought you had insurance as a cop.
Lucky: No. This is when I was on suspension when Helena shot me. I'm on my own on this.
Elizabeth: Ok, but that doesn't seem right, does it?
Lucky: Who knew it was going to cost so much to save my life. I didn't realize I'd be carrying a debt when we moved in.
Elizabeth: Well, wait a minute. Are you rethinking our living arrangements?
Lucky: I -- I love living with you and Cameron. I'm just saying that -- I'm just saying that this is your way out, and no one would blame you.
Elizabeth: Ok, if you think I'm going to bail at the first sign of trouble, you better think again, because this is my home, you're the man I'm committed to, and I'm not going anywhere.
Emily: Nikolas, you should leave.
Nikolas: So you can shut me out again? Let me tell you something -- if we can't be straight with each other, then we have absolutely no chance at all.
Emily: Not everything I do is about you.
Nikolas: Oh -- oh, come on, Emily. I know that you love your nephew, ok, but you're making this up as you go along. The other night when we were together, you never planned to go with Michael to his doctor's appointment. As soon as I asked you to come back to Wyndemere with me, you panicked. All right? Even the slightest hint of intimacy between us, it sends you running, and Michaelís just an excuse.
Emily: That is so unfair.
Nikolas: So what? Just be honest about it, though. You know, you're using Michael as an excuse to avoid dealing with us. You know, just be honest about it, don't run from it.
Emily: Ok, my life isn't only about how we get back together, Nikolas. Michael needs me.
Nikolas: I need you. Look, you and I agreed that we were going to get through this together, ok, but we only spend a couple hours of time with each other and then you find another excuse to run away from me.
Emily: I can't speak to you when you're like this.
Nikolas: You can't speak to me at all! Emily, that's the problem here! Look at me. I'm your husband. Your husband. And I'm -- I'm trying to deal with this with you.
Emily: And I'm grateful.
Nikolas: I don't want grateful. I want my wife back. Look, you've been through something terrible, something awful, ok, and I am not trying to take that away from you, but that is not a good reason to throw away everything that's good between us.
Emily: Nikolas, please stop.
Nikolas: No, no, no. I have loved you and I have supported you through everything, but -- ok, no, you know what? I'm going to say it. I'm going to say it. I am tired of paying for what Connor did to you.
Emily: Ok, I --
Nikolas: No, look, you're running away from me again. Don't walk away from me!
Emily: Nikolas, donít.
Sonny: Hey, hey, hey, what -- what the hell do you think you're doing?
Lorenzo: I'm sorry to see our marriage cause you such heartache.
Carly: I can't expect Michael to understand that making things work with Sonny would've been worse for all of us. Besides, I love you. This is the marriage I want to work.
Lorenzo: Then we'll make it work. †You know what? I love you, too.
Diego: Bad timing?
Lorenzo: I'm glad you're here.
Diego: Yeah, uh, wanted to check out the house. And -- I don't know, congratulations, I guess to both of you.
Carly: Thank you so much. You're the first person who congratulated us since the wedding. That's -- thank you, Diego.
Diego: Yeah, you're welcome. You're welcome.
Carly: You can call me Carly.
Diego: Ok, Carly. I can do that.
Carly: It must be strange for you to have sort of, like, a built-in, quick family.
Diego: Well, I was getting used to him all by myself.
Carly: Well, I want us to be a family. I want you to be a real brother to my sons. They would really like that.
Diego: I'd like that, too.
Reese: You're way out of line, Evan. I don't plan to destroy anyone's life.
Evan: Sonny Corinthos will never believe that. If he knew who you really were, what Caroline is to you, the only thing he would want is his bullet in your brain.
Reese: You're in no position to make threats. You heard Sonny. He'd love to know who wants to kill me. All I have to do is tell him and you'll wish you were back in prison.
Evan: You are no longer calling the shots, Charlotte. You did it when we were married; you did it when you got me busted. I'm making the rules now. You give me what I want or I will go to Mr. Corinthos and I will tell him all about this past you've worked so hard to hide.
Nikolas: Sonny, this is between me and my wife.
Sonny: Emily is a guest in my house. You weren't even invited. Last thing you want to do is threaten her.
Nikolas: But this is none of your business, ok?
Emily: Ok, stop it, both of you. It's not Nikolas' fault. I got him upset.
Sonny: Don't do that, Emily. Don't blame yourself when he gets out of control.
Emily: He's not.
Sonny: I saw him grab you. Why would you do that when you know what she's been through, Nikolas?
Nikolas: What -- wait a minute, you told him about Connor? What are you --?
Emily: I wanted Sonny to know about my therapy so he'd understand why I'm trying to help him with Michael.
Sonny: Why wouldn't she tell me? She didn't do anything wrong.
Nikolas: Because it's none of your business, that's why!
Sonny: Get out of my house!
Nikolas: Listen to me. We need to get through this, ok?
Sonny: I'm not going to tell you again, and next time I'm going to have you thrown out.
Nikolas: Come with me, please?
Courtney: You know, Jax, I don't want you to feel rushed into this whole baby thing. It's a big decision.
Jax: Yeah, but it's what you want, isn't it?
Jax: Ok, then why wait? I mean, the procedure, it's going to take some time, so why don't we just get it started and we can make a final decision later?
Courtney: Oh, my God. Do you realize what this means? I mean, if everything works out --
Jax: Yeah, we can have a baby this time next year.
Courtney: I can't believe it, Jax. This is so great! You are going to make a wonderful father, I know it. Hi. Is that -- is that a wedding ring?
Courtney: Wait, you actually married this jerk?
Emily: I can't go anywhere right now.
Nikolas: Damn it, don't do this!
Emily: Ok, we both need to calm down. Nikolas, I --
Sonny: You heard her.
Nikolas: Oh, my --
Emily: He's really upset.
Sonny: I don't care about him. What about you?
Emily: There's a lot more to this than you know about.
Sonny: That's what my mother used to say. That you don't know what's going on in a marriage until you've lived in it, and then she'd show up with black eyes and make excuses for the pig who hit her.
Emily: No, Sonny, Nikolas would never hurt me.
Sonny: Emily, Emily. I know a loose cannon when I see one. Do not lie to protect him.
Emily: You have to believe me. Nikolas would never hurt me.
Sonny: Never? So what would've happened if I didn't show up?
Emily: It's not because Nikolas is angry, Sonny. He's frustrated, ok, and I don't blame him. He has tried so hard to help me get past the rape, and I keep shutting him out.
Sonny: Well, it's going to take as long as it's going to take there, you know?
Emily: But the truth is he's right, ok? I've forgotten -- I've forgotten how to trust. I love Michael, but I'm as much here to hide from my husband as I am to help your son.
Sonny: You trust your instincts?
Sonny: Yeah? Your instincts are telling you to be here in a place where it's safe, right? I got a big home, ok? I am offering you my home for as long as you need it.
Evan: See, I know you, Charlotte. You worked overtime to get Sonny Corinthos. You're not going to walk away from him just to burn me. So how's about we help each other out?
Reese: You deserve to burn for what you did to Jamie.
Evan: Revenge is not going to bring him back.
Reese: Michael. What are you doing here?
Michael: I have a doctor's appointment. I thought my dad would be visiting you.
Reese: Oh, I'm sorry, honey, but he left a little while ago.
Michael: Is he your boyfriend?
Reese: No. No, he's just somebody that I used to know.
Evan: What are you, 9, 10?
Evan: You know, my own little boy would be just about the same age.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Georgie: Maxie's gotten weaker.
Dillon: You need to give yourself a break.
Carly: Congratulations to you, too.
Courtney: I just think it's ironic that you were planning to have babies with the sicko that cost me mine.
Lucky: I know who's trying to kill Agent Marshall.
Michael: What do you mean, "would be"? Who's your son?
