Dillon: Ha-ha-ha! Whoo!

Georgie: Wow! Over the threshold and everything like we were really married.

Dillon: [As John Wayne] Well, anything for you, little lady.

Georgie: And here we are, back at the ranch.

Dillon: Let me just set you down right here and I'll go rustle up some grub.

Bellman: Howdy, you young whippersnappers, and welcome to the Rodeo Ranch Love Romance Hotel Suite Deluxe. Whoopeeiayo!

Jason: Hey.

Sam: Hey. Did you come up with anything?

Jason: Carly is going to have to testify. Justus can't find any way around it, and neither can I.

Mike: Hey, Jason. What's this about a trial? It's all over the news. I mean, why did they throw out Sonny's confession?

Jason: Mike, there's so much going on, I don't even know where to begin.

Mike: All right, well, obviously, how's Michael?

Jason: He's doing better.

Mike: Good. You guys want coffee?

Jason: No. Tea.

Sam: Coffee's fine.

Mike: Ok. You got it.

Jason: You -- you're not pregnant?

 [Knock on door]

Ric: Hmm. Ok.

Alexis: Good morning.

Ric: That almost felt real.

Alexis: That was real.

Ric: Here's what's real -- you obviously need something from me. I'm just not sure that I can give it.

Carly: Sonny isn't here. Go away.

Reese: How's Michael?

Carly: You don't care how my son is.

Reese: Look, it's a tough time for all of us, but we all want the same thing.

Carly: Spare me the pep talk. I know damn well what you want.

Jax: Hey, you just need to decide which flowers and then I'll order as many as you want from anywhere in the world, but you need to make up your mind.

Courtney: You know, Jax, Sonny's trial is tomorrow.

Jax: Yeah, yeah, I realize that.

Courtney: I should be there.

Jax: Why?

Courtney: Sonny's my brother and Carly might as well be my sister and, I mean, you know, the guy that got murdered was my husband --

Man: Ms. Courtney Matthews?

Courtney: Yeah?

Man: You've been served. Please sign here.

Courtney: Oh. Ok.

Man: Thanks.

Courtney: Yeah.

Jax: Hmm.

Courtney: Oh, great. I've been called to testify.

Jax: Well, it's just what you've been looking for -- another excuse not to marry me.

Georgie: Can you really believe this place?  Oh.

Dillon: Ok. So, here's the movie, right?

Georgie: Right.

Dillon: Two young lovers head out west in search of the American ideal -- the cowboy, the ranch, and instead find themselves in Vegas in this very hotel room pretending to be married.

Georgie: Oh.

Dillon: You like it?

Georgie: It's perfect. It is perfect.

[Dillon chuckles]

[Electronic mooing]

Dillon: It's perfect -- no, it's perfect. It's -- it represents our love, our adventure, our hearts. It's the stampede.

Georgie: [Southern accent] Let's open up some champagne and be outlaws.

Dillon: Ok, we got all night. Come here.

Luke: Ah, this couldn't be better.

[Georgie screams]

Luke: What's the matter? You knew I'd be here.

Georgie: [Normal voice] I thought you were my dad.

Luke: Oh, Georgie, that's cold.

Georgie: I'm sorry.

Dillon: It's ok. She gets a little nervous.

Luke: Well, that's ok. Nervous is good. Young brides should be nervous. As a matter of fact, if I didn't know better, I'd have thought the two of you actually had eloped. So, the only thing left to do is break the news to your sweet little old mama.

Skye: Get the distribution out as soon as possible. That's right -- an emergency E.L.Q. board meeting.

Tracy: Oh, no, no, no, no, I think not. Cancel that -- no meeting. Tracy Quartermaine, your boss -- the one that signs the pink slips?

Skye: E.L.Q. is about to collapse.

Tracy: E.L.Q. is going to be just fine as soon as I transfer some funds.

Skye: You can't pump stolen funds into a corporation, Tracy, especially when those funds are from the Cassadines.

Tracy: Oh, I meant to tell you, Nikolas stopped by yesterday. He has such lovely manners despite all he's been through.

Skye: Then he knows you have the money.

Tracy: Yeah, well, not that he's going to find a dime of it.

Skye: Well, you just can't keep it.

Tracy: Let's call it a corporate windfall. They're so in style these days.

Skye: You listen to me. With or without that 15 million, E.L.Q. is in serious trouble, ok? We need some real leadership.

Tracy: Really? And by that I suppose you mean Lorenzo Alcazar?

Skye: He's a savvy businessman.

Tracy: Hmm, not. He is a gangster who wants to go legit all in the name of love, which is not to say that he's in love with you, because he's not, God knows.

Skye: Who said anything about love?

Tracy: You just want him in position so you can make Luke Spencer jealous.

Skye: Oh, that's ridiculous.

Tracy: Not that Luke would notice.

Skye: Oh, he noticed.

Tracy: Really? Must have been drunker than usual. You know what? The sooner you accept the fact that you can't hold a man's attention more than a few months, the happier you'll be. Luke has done his time. It's time for him to move on.

Mike: Here you go, honey. Enjoy.

Sam: Thanks. I'm disappointed. But I do realize that, Jason, it's probably not the best idea. I mean, Dr. Meadows did tell us to be careful, so I just don't want to push it, you know?

Jason: The most important thing is -- is to make sure you're healthy.

Sam: I know.

Jason: Because when Dr. Meadows says it's safe, we'll start a family.

Alexis: Sonny has always been a factor in our marriage, and I want to find a way to work around that.

Ric: Alexis, what if Sonny -- what if the jury should find Sonny innocent? What if he walks out of that courtroom a free man? Are you going to want me as much then?

Alexis: Yes.

Ric: Even though he's going to have every right to see Kristina?

Alexis: I love you no matter what he does. I want you to come home, I want us to be a family, and if you let him go free, you're going to throw all of that away.

Reese: Justus asked me to get you ready to testify.

Carly: Oh, he can't be bothered?

Reese: This whole court thing came up really quickly. He's preparing for Sonny's defense. I'm a lawyer. I offered to help him.

Carly: You arranged for this trial, didn't you, because you want Sonny to yourself?

Reese: All right, Carly, let's not even have this discussion, ok? We don't have time for it.

Carly: You're a fool to trust Ric Lansing. He's not going to throw this case. He will do whatever he can to get Sonny convicted.

Reese: We have a really good chance of winning this case no matter what Ric does.

Carly: You're deluding yourself.

Reese: All right, you know what? Let me just ask you a few questions. Can we do that?

Carly: Oh, you think I've never testified in court before?

Reese: Do we really have to go there?

Carly: All right, come on. Whatever. Ask away.

Reese: All right. To the best of your knowledge, what was Sonny's state of mind the night A.J. died?

Carly: Objection. Calls for conjecture.

Reese: You can't object. You're the witness.

Carly: Your honor, I don't know what my husband was thinking the night in question.

Reese: Ok. Then, Carly, what was in your mind the night A.J. Quartermaine died?

Carly: A.J. Quartermaine was an evil worm who didn't deserve to live.

Reese: No, no no no no no no no no.

Ric: How can you promise that you love me in one breath and then threaten to break our family apart in the next?

Alexis: And how can you risk everything -- your career, your family, everything that you have -- for a known criminal?

Ric: You're asking me to choose between you and Sonny. That's ridiculous, and it's emotional blackmail.

Alexis: Which is exactly what he's doing to you.

Ric: He didn't kill A.J.

Alexis: No, but he killed other people and he's gotten away with it. What difference does it make?

Ric: What --

Alexis: He's as dangerous as Faith Rosco, and while you are quick to point out every hormonal mood swing that I have, your brother is pathological and he is playing on your need to be part of a family.

Ric: Ok, I can't disagree there.

Alexis: Stefan played on mine, my need to be part of the Cassadines, and it was always on his terms, and I hated it, and that's exactly what Sonny's doing to you.  So you're going to throw the case for him now, and then what's he going to ask of you later, and all you're going to get is his approval. Is it really that valuable to you?

Ric: Alexis, I cannot in good conscience put an innocent man in prison.

Alexis: You're making this way too complicated.

Ric: Oh, imagine that.

Alexis: You have a chance to send a career criminal to prison, and I'm asking you to take it.

Ric: And if I don't you are going to leave me.

Alexis: I want you to choose your family because we love you and we need you. And I don't want you to throw everything away for a mobster who will use you and then throw you away.

Reese: You and Sonny need to convince a jury that you were so worried about Michael that you couldn't think of anything else.

Carly: I love my child. I hate the pig who hurt him.

Reese: That's the part we want to leave out.

Carly: Ok, if I don't admit that I hated A.J., the jury's going to know that I'm lying. Is that what you want?

Reese: All right, you need to calm down.

Carly: Ok, no.

Reese: I want the jury to see you as a saintly mother who deeply loves her child.

Carly: You want me to look like I'm hiding something, which means I'm guilty.

Reese: What are you talking about?

Carly: You want me to look so bad on the witness stand so that they drop the charges against Sonny and refile them against me.

Reese: That's insane.

Carly: No, but, I mean, it's effective, isn't it? I mean, you could move in here with Sonny and my kids and I get sent away to Pentonville. Yeah -- it's not going to happen. Get out.

Dillon: Take two. "Mom, we're in love, and we're here and you better be happy for me."

Georgie: No.

Dillon: No?

Georgie: Just say we've eloped.

Dillon: Yeah, ok. All right, take three. "Surprise! We eloped!"

Georgie: Oh, that's good.

Dillon: She's going to have a heart attack.

Luke: That would require a heart.

Dillon: Yes, I know, but once she finds out that something is up, she's going to kill me. I'm going to be grounded for the rest of my life. She's going to take my head off. She's -- I'm a dead man.

Luke: Look, you won't be dead, and besides, you'll always have Vegas -- on my nickel, by the way. So whip out that cell phone and punch in those numbers.

Dillon: Yes. Yes. Ok. All right. Ok, I can do this. I can do this. What do I say?

Georgie: That you've married your one true love and you've never been happier.

Dillon: Ok.

Luke: "Never been happier" is good.

Georgie: Right.

Dillon: "My true love." "Never been happier." All right, that's good. Ok. What am I thinking?

Luke: What?

Dillon: How did you get me all the way to Vegas? How did you do that? How did I believe -- what am I thinking?

Luke: It's simple, Dillon! You were thinking that you and Georgie are going to have a wonderful night alone together far from home.

Dillon: Yes, at the expense of lying to my mother.

Georgie: Oh, come on, Dillon. Like she's never lied to you?

Dillon: It's a caper. I got myself involved in another caper. How do you do that, by the way? How does he do that?

Luke: Call your mother.

Dillon: What if she calls the F.B.I.?

Luke: The F.B.I.?

Dillon: Yeah, crossing state lines with a minor.

Georgie: Oh, I never thought of that.

Luke: No, look, don't worry about that. You're just a couple of wacky kids on the town. The F.B.I. has no interest in you.

Dillon: Yes, but it's wrong.

Luke: Wrong? All right, how wrong is it for her to constantly manipulate your life, making it a living hell? How wrong is it for her to always threaten military school, to keep you away from Georgie, to treat you like her own personal, materialistic domain? You're her lackey. You're her whipping boy!

Georgie: You know, Luke is absolutely right.

Luke: Call your mother, damn it!

Tracy: Luke Spencer thinks he's so clever setting me up to bring Helena out in the open.

Skye: It worked.

Tracy: Oh, please. Luke is nothing but a burned-out drunk who gave me $15 million and forgot to get a receipt.

Skye: He's not going to let you just keep the money.

Tracy: I'm just trying to clean up the mess you and A.J. made.

Skye: Oh, I told you I had nothing to do with A.J. embezzling that money.

Tracy: You and A.J. were partners.

Skye: Look, I loved A.J., he was practically my brother, ok, but I did not help him steal that money.

Tracy: Oh, please. A.J. was not your brother. You know why? Because you're not a Quartermaine. You are just a parasite that has attached yourself to my family, and as far as I'm concerned, it's time you were removed.

[Phone rings]

Tracy: Excuse me. Hello.

Dillon: Mom?

Tracy: I'm in a meeting.

Dillon: Congratulate me.

Tracy: You dumped the girl?

Dillon: No.

Tracy: You did something about your hair?

Dillon: Georgie and I just got married!

Jason: After Sonny's acquitted, I'm going to take you on a trip, and I'm going to take you far away from Port Charles, definitely someplace with an ocean.

Sam: An ocean?

Jason: Yeah.

Sam: Well, then maybe we could rent a boat and sail through the Caribbean.

Jason: Is that what you want?

Sam: Oh, have you ever gone scuba diving? I know the best, Jason, I mean, the best coral reefs out there. And then may we could sail at night and look at the stars and maybe see a shooting star.

Jason: Mm-hmm, and then what?

Sam: Well, you know, maybe that's when we'll --

Jason: We'll -- we'll what?

Sam: Come on, you know! It's when we'll conceive our first child. Wouldn't that be nice?

Jason: Yeah, maybe.

Reese: If you don't do something about Carly, she's going to end up sending Sonny straight to death row.

Courtney: Of course I want to marry you, Jax, come on, but now when my brother is on trial for killing my ex-husband? What --

Jax: Sonny is always on trial -- for murder or being arrested or he creates his own little --

Skye: Ooh, hey! I'm glad I found you guys.

Jax: Hi.

Skye: I'm sorry to bother you, but I need to borrow Jax for one second. Feel free to stick around, if you'd like.

Courtney: No, I won’t. It's -- it's fine. I actually have to postpone our wedding arrangements, right?

Jax: Well, yeah, I guess we don't have a choice.

Courtney: Right.

Jax: Good.

Courtney: Bye.

Jax: Bye. Hmm.

Skye: Well, that doesn't sound too promising.

Jax: Well, you know, it's always a difficult thing to arrange your wedding plans around Sonny's court appearances.

Skye: Oh.

Jax: Yeah.

Skye: Yes, I can imagine.

Jax: Huh. So what can I do for you?

Skye: Well, Tracy and I are battling it out to see who's going to head E.L.Q.

Jax: Oh, really? Wow. I mean, I would pay money to see that.

Skye: Well, look, I'm just wondering if you have anything really bad on Tracy, you know, maybe something illegal, humiliating -- anything.

Jax: No, I can’t. See, Tracy and I have declared a ceasefire.

Skye: Well, that's inconvenient.

Jax: Yeah. Well, and our timing has never been very good, has it -- you and I? You know, from weddings to honeymoons to unexpected guests.

Skye: Well, things change. We've both moved on, and I'm really happy that you and Courtney seem to be so perfectly happy together.

Jax: Yeah, we are, as far as I'm concerned.

Skye: But it seems like Courtney’s got a lot on her mind these days.

Jax: So how's Luke? You still seeing him?

Skye: I have sworn off Luke Spencer, ok? Cold turkey, one day at a time.

Jax: Yeah? How's it going?

Skye: Not well.

Tracy: Dillon!

Dillon: Luke, that's her.

Luke: My God, that E.L.Q. thing must be a jet.

Tracy: Dillon, open the door immediately!

Dillon: Uh --

Luke: The bed, the bed.

Georgie: Oh, right, the bed, the bed --

Dillon: No, no, wait, wait, no --

Georgie: What?

Dillon: What if she calls the cops?

Tracy: Open the door!

Luke: She won't call the cops. She won’t. The bed.

Georgie: Ok, the bed. All right.

Tracy: Dillon!

Dillon: I'm -- I'm coming! Coming.

Tracy: Dillon, are you all right?

Dillon: Yeah, I'm fine, mom.

Tracy: I'm calling security, Dillon.

Dillon: Uh --

Georgie: It's ok, it's ok! Go!

Dillon: Mom?

Tracy: Open the damn door!

Dillon: Hi, mom! Oh --

Tracy: What's going on in here?

Dillon: Um -- I want you -- shh -- I want you to meet the new Mrs. Dillon Quartermaine.

Georgie: Hi, mom.

Tracy: How pregnant are you?

Georgie: I am not pregnant.

Dillon: She is not pregnant, but she is going to be, and I'll tell you something, we're just going to keep on popping them out and popping them out.

Georgie: That's right! I can't wait!

Dillon: We're going to have so many babies!

Tracy: What about film school?

Dillon: Film school -- you know what? It's just a stupid dream, because you wanted me to get something more practical, like physical therapy. Right? Or -- dealing.

Tracy: "Dealing"?

Dillon: Like cards dealing, you know, or -- my back really hurts --

Tracy: What?

Dillon: So much. Nothing. I want to be a janitor.

Tracy: Why do you want to be a janitor?

Dillon: I don't -- I don't want to be a janitor. I want to be -- mom, I -- I want to dance! I want to be -- I want to be a Vegas show boy!  They get so much work out here, I hear.

Tracy: I refuse to allow you to marry that trailer trash! Stop wiggling!

Georgie: I make straight A's.

Dillon: You know, she was actually going to be valedictorian.

Georgie: Right.

Dillon: Did you know that? Hmm? But then you know what? Grades are not important, because we are just going to go ahead living our lives and -- and -- let me tell you something. I found a double-wide on the way here, brand-spanking-new.

Tracy: A double what?

Georgie: It's a trailer.

Tracy: You would know.

Dillon: No, the thing -- the thing is, though, we're just going to go and, like, live out in the middle of the desert and just nature it up. It's like the American dream.

Tracy: Why do you keep looking over there?

Dillon: Over where?

Tracy: Over there.

Dillon: I --

Tracy: Are you drunk?

Georgie: No, no.

Dillon: I'm not -- not in the least!

Georgie: Do you want to smell my breath?

Tracy: No, I do not want to smell your breath.

Dillon: I want to smell your breath. Did you know why? Because your breath smells like the sweet perfume of desert blossoms.

Tracy: Oh, my God, I'm going to puke.

Dillon: I want to tell you something, I do not need alcohol, because we are high on love.

Mike: There you go.

Reese: Thanks, Mike. What is it with Carly? Why is she so paranoid -- not to mention narcissistic?

Sam: Well, she loves her children.

Reese: I mean, why can't she just understand that this trial is Sonny's best chance?

Sam: Why? Because you thought up the strategy, for one thing.

Reese: Man, I just hope she doesn't lose it on the stand, because she could do some serious damage.

Sam: Ok, listen, never underestimate Carly. She knows what she wants, and she will do anything -- and I mean anything -- to get it.

Reese: Sam, I'm not trying to get between Carly and Sonny.

Sam: Right, but she obviously doesn't see it that way.

Reese: Ok, so what do I have to do to reassure Carly and get her to focus on getting Sonny --?

Sam: No, no, no. You -- see, you can’t. Jason -- Jason is the only one who can get through to Carly when she's like this. They're like -- I don't know -- brother and sister, you know? Jason bails Carly out -- that's what it is.

Reese: You know what? I did a little research when I first got assigned to the kidnapping here, and I know that Carly and Jason had a little romance.

Sam: Yeah, well, they did, a long time ago. Look, Carly and Jason are friends. Jason and Sonny are friends. Now, Sonny and Carly are loud and complicated and never really over each other.

Carly: If we'd just left the country when I wanted to.

Jason: Ok, well, we didn't, ok? So the only way to help Sonny now is to nail your testimony.

Carly: Reese totally wants me out of the way. Do you get that, right? I mean, she wants me to look guilty so she can have Sonny for herself.

Jason: Can we just focus on the situation here, please?

Carly: She's after Sonny. I mean, don't try to tell me she's not.

Jason: Fine, she wants Sonny! I don't care if she wants Sonny. It's not her fault that you've been called to testify. So, please, for Sonny's sake, just don't do anything stupid in court.

[Knock on door]

Ric: Carly, we need to go over your testimony.

Jason: No, Carly has nothing to say to you.

Ric: We're all on the same side here, Jason.

Carly: Oh, really? Whose side is that?

John: You know, that is a very good question. That's why I joined the prosecution team -- to make sure our illustrious D.A. doesn't have a sudden change of heart. I'm going to help Ric put Sonny in prison, where he belongs.

 [Electronic mooing]

Tracy: I'll find a judge. I'll get it annulled.

Dillon: No.

Tracy: Dillon, you have your whole life ahead of you.

Dillon: Yeah, and I'm living it with Georgie.

Tracy: And how do you plan on doing that?

Dillon: On trust finds like you do.

Tracy: Not after I cut you off.

Dillon: Mom, let me tell you something. Don't you get that it doesn't matter what you do, because Georgie is the best thing that's ever happened to me, anyway? She is a miracle, she keeps me happy, she keeps me sane, she understands me, and you know what? I believe in her, even if you don’t.

Tracy: Wow.

[Dillon sighs]

Luke: “And I love her."

Dillon: I love her.

Luke: "I always will."

Dillon: I always will.

Tracy: I do not understand what happened. You showed such promise, and now you're in a Las Vegas -- oh, my God -- hotel room spewing a bunch of sentimental hooey.

Dillon: That is --

Tracy: Dillon, don't you realize that I tried so hard to give you a good life?

Dillon: Mom, I get it, and I'm living the good life. I'm living a great life right now, and so what if the details are a little blurry and the hotel room is kind of messed up? I love Georgie with all of my heart and soul. And soon you will, too. Uh --

Tracy: Whew. I'll be in the bar.

Georgie: That was beautiful.

Luke: Bravo!

Dillon: Uh --

Luke: Fantastic! Oh, and the award goes to Dillon Quartermaine. Great acting.

Dillon: I meant every word, Luke.

Luke: Whatever. Now it's up to me.

Skye: Spencer is a terrible influence. He takes me to places I'd otherwise never go. He encourages my worst habits. He is my worst habit.

Jax: Would it be rude to ask if you're still sober?

Skye: No, not at all. And, yes, I am.

Jax: Oh, then maybe Luke isn't so bad for you after all.

Skye: Never let him hear you say that.

Jax: Ok, I promise I will never say that. I just want you to be deliriously happy.

Skye: Well, I want you to be happy, too, and I -- I couldn't be happier that you and Courtney seem to be so perfect for each other.

Jax: Yeah, I love her. I do. I'm just not sure if I want to deal with her family.

Skye: I think it would be kind of fun to throw it all in Sonny's face, don't you?

Jax: Yeah, you know, I think we've just grown past all that.

Skye: What does it matter about Courtney’s family? Besides, she'd be crazy to let you go. You're sweet and funny, a gentleman, handsome, rich, charming.

Jax: Well, ok, thank you for your support.

Skye: Yeah. Then again, I've never been great at relationships, so what the hell do I know?

Courtney: Hey, daddy.

Mike: Hey, sweetheart.

Courtney: So -- I postponed the wedding.

Mike: Because of the trial?

Courtney: Well, yeah, I might have to testify. I got a subpoena.

Mike: You seem a little relieved -- about the wedding, not about the trial.

Courtney: You know, it's just I love Jax with all my heart. I do. But I also loved A.J., and we both know how well that turned out. Then Jason and --

Mike: Hey, maybe the third time is the charm, huh? Unless Jax has some hidden dark secrets.

Courtney: No, I trust Jax completely, and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. It's just, you know, what if this marriage turns out like the others? What if I'm just a jinx?

Carly: You can't just hijack another attorney's murder case.

John: Sure, I can. I'm a federal prosecutor. The D.A. has a glaring conflict of interest. He won't recuse himself. It only took one phone call.

Ric: Come on, what are you doing, Durant?

Carly: Ok, you pulled strings for the chance to have my husband convicted.

John: Whoa, whoa, stop right there. Your ex-husband, the man who has destroyed your life, the man who is hurting your children -- whether you want to admit it or not -- not to mention he has confessed to A.J.'s murder.

Carly: The judge threw that out.

John: Carly -- Carly, this is your chance to get free of the man. I am begging you. I am not going to let you waste this opportunity.

Carly: Oh -- are you planning to say that to the jury? Talk about conflict of interest.

Jason: Ok, that's it, Carly. Don't say another word. You guys get out.

John: All right. See you in court. Man, I just love saying that. Mr. Lansing, don't you like saying that? "See you in court."

Carly: What are we going to do?

Ned: Hey.

Brook Lynn: Dad, hi.

Ned: Hi.

Brook Lynn: Hi.

Ned: Did you get my message?

Brook Lynn: Message?

Ned: Yeah, I called your cell phone about 15 minutes ago.

Brook Lynn: Oh, cell phone. Right. You know, that makes sense, because I actually -- I turned my cell phone off about, oh, like, an hour ago because I'm a writing a song and I didn't want it to get in the way of the creative process, you know?

Ned: That makes sense.

Brook Lynn: Yeah -- where is my cell phone? You know, I was actually -- oh, shoot -- I was actually here getting coffee.

Ned: Oh.

Brook Lynn: But I'm actually going back to the park now. But do you ever feel like you write songs better when you're outside? Yeah.

Ned: Are you ok?

Brook Lynn: Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine. I just -- I'm writing a song, and so if I seem distracted, it's because it's in my head, you know?

Ned: Ok.

Brook Lynn: Yeah.

Ned: All right, well, I won't keep you. I just want to know if you've heard from Dillon.

Brook Lynn: Dillon? Oh, yeah, yeah, I heard from him before I turned off my cell phone. He's fine.

Ned: Oh.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, he's good.

Ned: Well, because, according to Alice, my mother was on the phone with him, and then she hung up and tore out of the house yelling and screaming about --

Brook Lynn: Dad --

Ned: Dillon making the biggest mistake of his life. Do you know anything about that?

Brook Lynn: Dad, dad, this is granny we're talking about, all right? She flips out from anything related to E.L.Q. to the color of the roses in the living room. Come on.

Ned: Well, that's true.

Brook Lynn: It's no big deal, yeah. You know, you could call Dillon if you want, but you really don't have to, because he's fine, because I talked to him.

Ned: All right. Well, listen, I'm sure if he were in any real trouble, you would tell me. Right?

Brook Lynn: Right. Yeah, absolutely, I -- I would.

Ned: Ok. So unless I hear from you, I'll just assume that he's fine.

Tracy: Oh --

Luke: Tra-- Tracy?

Tracy: Whew. Luke?

Luke: Yeah, it's me.

Tracy: I guess good news travels fast.

Luke: Well, Dillon called me.

Tracy: I don't know how this can be happening.

Luke: I grabbed the first flight to Vegas to try to talk him out of it.

Tracy: Too late.

Luke: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

Tracy: His career, his money, his future, thrown away on a teen tart.

Luke: Well, you could have the marriage annulled.

Tracy: No, not so fast, not on the grounds of non-consummation. I don't know he can throw his life away on that -- that val-- vale--

Luke: Smart girl?

Tracy: No.

Luke: A student?

Tracy: No.

Luke: Nice --

Tracy: Oh, shut up. How am I going to live down this humili-- hu-- humiliation?  Agh.

Luke: Damn kids. I tell you, they're such a misery, they're so maddening. If we could only turn the tables.

Tracy: Could if I would. I would if I could. It's the least I could do to that selfish, stubborn, silly, stupid son of mine.

Luke: Wait a minute, now.

Tracy: Whew.

Luke: Why not? Why not give your wild child a taste of his own bitter medicine?

Tracy: How?

Carly: Every time I think John cares about me, like he could actually just be my father, he shows me I'm wrong. All he cares about, all he's ever cared about is putting Sonny behind bars, and now he has his chance.

Jason: Durant has to beat you first, Carly.

Carly: What do you mean?

Jason: Well, you have a chance to convince the jury that Sonny's innocent.

Courtney: Hey. Sorry. I know it's a bad time. How's Michael?

Carly: About the same.

Courtney: I got a subpoena to testify.

Jason: Yeah, you should call Justus right away.

Courtney: I tried. He's not picking up his cell. Also -- Carly, I wanted you to know the wedding's off.

Carly: For good? Really? That's the best news I've heard in weeks.

Courtney: No, not -- no, it's just postponed until after the trial.

Carly: Oh.

Courtney: Is there anything I can do to help?

Carly: No. You're here. That's the best thing.

Ric: Nice work.

Alexis: What's that supposed to mean?

Ric: John Durant got himself appointed co-prosecutor on Sonny's case.

Alexis: Hmm. I have no idea how that happened.

Ric: Maybe you do. You and Durant have been pretty cozy lately.

Alexis: I've severed all ties with John Durant.

Ric: Why should I believe you?

Alexis: Because I believe you when you tell me that you love me, because I'm pregnant with your child, because you started dating me to get access to Sonny's child, and I love you anyway, because somewhere along the line -- and I don't remember exactly when this happened -- but I took a leap of faith.

Ric: A leap of faith?

Alexis: I did. Can you?

Dillon: How did Luke talk me into this?

Georgie: Dillon, he gave us this room and a whole night together.

Dillon: Yeah, he gave us this room for lying to my mother.

Georgie: She would do the same to you for a lot less.

Dillon: He's probably seducing her right now.

Georgie: Ew, gross. Don't think about that.

Dillon: I can't stop thinking about it! Where do you think they are right now? I'm a dead man. She's going to kill me. My mother is going to kill me.

Georgie: No. No, no, no. Luke can be incredibly smooth, and I'm sure he can handle your mother.

Luke: Oh, it would be so great. I mean, you really probably can't do it, but what a great thing it would be if you could just teach Dillon a lesson he'd never forget.

Tracy: He broke my heart. He's ruining my life.

Luke: Damn kids. I'm telling you, if only we could put them through what they put us through; give them the same anguish.

Tracy: How? How? Luke, I keep asking you how.

Luke: Well, I don't know.

[Tracy sighs]

Luke: Maybe if you married some trailer trash, someone as unacceptable as Georgie.

Tracy: Somebody crude?

Luke: Exactly.

Tracy: Socially unacceptable?

Luke: Oh, yeah.

Tracy: No redeeming features? None, none, none.

Luke: None.

Tracy: Somebody who's penniless, rough around the edges, the dregs of humanity.

Luke: Yeah, a real lowlife bastard.

Tracy: It would serve him right.

Luke: It sure would.

Tracy: I think I'll do it.

Carly: So it's good, right, that Courtney postponed the wedding?

Jason: Courtney's testimony is not going to matter nearly as much as yours, ok? You have to work this, Carly. You have to win over that jury and convince them that Sonny is innocent.

Carly: What if I can't?

Jason: You will.

Carly: What if the jury hates me and Sonny goes to prison?

Jason: Will you stop this? You cannot let yourself panic. I know that you can do this, ok? You have to make up your mind that you're going to get on that stand and convince the jury that all you and Sonny cared about that night was taking care of Michael. You got to show them that you're a loving mother, show that Sonny is a good father, and neither of you killed A.J.

Carly: Ok. I'm so scared.

Jason: It's going to be ok.

Ric: Are you implying that you can take a leap of faith, but I can't? That I'm incapable of believing in something that makes no sense whatsoever?

Alexis: You tell me.

Ric: Ok, you say that you don't have any ties with John Durant? Then I believe you.

Alexis: Showoff. I miss you so much.

Ric: I just want this to be over.

Alexis: So do I.

Ric: I'm sorry, I got to -- I got to go talk to Reese.  How did John Durant get appointed to this case?

Reese: He still has a lot of influential friends.

Ric: I cannot throw the case with him looking over my shoulder.

Reese: I know, Ric. I know.

Ric: Look, Durant is a very good prosecutor. Some say he's brilliant. Look, as much as I don't like the man, he has the capability of winning this case and getting Sonny convicted on Murder One.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Sam: A lot is riding on Carly’s testimony today.

Carly: A.J. deserved to die.

Jason: You can't go off about A.J. on the stand.

Michael: Don't worry. I'm going to make sure that he doesn't go to jail for something that I did.

Ric: If you don't admit that Michael is the one who killed A.J., Durant is going to get a conviction.
