Monica: I am so glad that you have been exonerated and Helena is finally in custody.
Nikolas: Thank you, Monica. Is Emily home? Is she around?
Monica: I'm sorry. For reasons I really can't fathom, she doesn't want to see you.
Ric: Well, congratulations.
Alexis: That certainly didn't sound sincere.
Ric: Sonny just confessed to A.J.'s murder.
Ric: Yeah, really. Come on, Alexis. You can do better than that, can't you? I mean, a smile of satisfaction; a shot of victory? After all, that's what you paid for, isn't it?
Alexis: What's that?
Ric: A check for $500,000 signed by John Durant. It's quite a tidy sum for a civil servant, don't you think? Coincidentally, it's the same amount of money that was embezzled from the Cassadine accounts. I cannot believe that you used your family's money in order to bribe John Durant to buy witnesses to bring down Sonny.
Alexis: It's not the way it seems, Ric.
Ric: Yeah, sure. It all makes sense, though. The therapy sessions that never took place. The lies, the cover-ups -- it's all part of your plan to neutralize Sonny once and for all, so why don't you just admit it to me? You're the anonymous donor for Durantís slush fund, aren't you?
Alexis: I had no choice.
Reese: I need to see Jason.
Sam: He's not here.
Reese: Do you know where I can find him?
Sam: Yeah. He took Carly home. She's in a panic because Sonny just confessed to murdering A.J.
Carly: I'm not going to let Sonny confess to a murder he didn't commit!
Jason: Sonny confessed to protect Michael, Carly.
Carly: Yeah, ok, Michaelís getting better. If he has to testify, he will. He'll be ok.
Jason: Ric is going to put him on the stand and ask him what happened the night A.J. died.
Carly: Michael's going to say that I didn't actually put the pillow over A.J.'s face --
Jason: Carly, Michael put the pillow over A.J.'s face! That's why Sonny confessed -- because Michael killed A.J.

Nikolas: Could I come in for just a minute, Monica?
Monica: I don't think that's wise.
Nikolas: Look, I realize what Emilyís gone through. You know, she's scared, she's vulnerable and --
Monica: And she needs some time.
Nikolas: No, of course, and I don't want to pressure her, ok? I just -- I just want to speak to her; see if I can help. Will you just let me try --?
Monica: This is Emilyís choice, Nikolas. Look, I hope the two of you can get back together again, I really do, but I can't go against her wishes.
Nikolas: She's listening right now, is she not? Emily, I love you. We can get through this if you just give me a chance.
Monica: I'm sorry.
Nikolas: I'll be back.
Skye: Well, Luke, you're just in time -- to make a toast to Lorenzo.
Luke: What's the occasion?
Skye: His heroism in offering to ransom Emily from Helena on a moment's notice.
Luke: As opposed to the guy who put his life on the line to get her arrested?
Skye: I'm sorry. I'm not sure to whom you're referring.
Lorenzo: Luke is actually the one who saved Emily, and in most cases, I'm making him the hero.
Luke: Thank you, Lorenzo. Very perceptive.
Skye: Well, I couldn't be happier that Emily was saved -- not that a certain someone didn't call me and let me know all about it.
Luke: I'm here, aren't I?
Skye: And to think that I was sitting here wondering whether you were alive or dead. Oh-ho -- silly me to be concerned with such trivial details.
Luke: I need a drink. Hey -- what is it? Never mind, doesn't matter. To Lucas Lorenzo, after netting the great white Helena.
Skye: Drinking solo -- just what you always do, Luke. Trusting no one and cutting off all ties to anyone who actually tries to trust you.
Lorenzo: You know what? I'm going to take that as my cue to leave.
Skye: No, you stay right there. We're just getting started.
Alan: Oh, did you hear the news about your brother?
Courtney: No. What?
Alan: Sonny confessed to A.J.'s murder.
Courtney: Sonny -- Sonny didn't kill A.J., Alan. He's probably just trying to protect Carly.
Alan: I don't care which part of your extended family actually did the murder. You all despised him. Justice will be served as long as one of you rots in jail.
Courtney: Oh, ok, so searching for the real killer is just beside the point?
Alan: You're all responsible for his death.
Courtney: A.J. was an evil pig, Alan. He did not care for one second about the welfare of his own son. Michael was just a possession to him. You know, A.J. would still be alive if you hadn't tried to help him flee the country with Sonny and Carlyís little boy.
Alan: Don't you get judgmental with me. You're nothing but a two-timing little gold digger that wanted A.J. only so you should marry --
Courtney: A.J. used me, and you know it!
Alan: And then when that didn't work, you jumped into bed with his mobster brother!
Jax: All right. That's enough.
Reese: Sonny is obviously trying to protect someone he loves. But there are better ways to do that than to confess to a murder that he didn't commit.
Sam: All right, but Sonny obviously wanted to spare Michael the pain of testifying against his mother, and then there's Carly. I mean, he probably thought the case against her was open and shut. It just goes to show you how far he'd go to protect her.
Reese: Sonny loves his family. He would do anything for his children.
Sam: It's more than that, Reese. Sonny and Carly -- they are bonded for life. Whether they are married or divorced or in some limbo in between, there is a connection between them that nothing and no one can break.
Reese: Ok, yeah, they've been together for years. They have two children together. It's only natural that they would still be connected.
Sam: Right, right, right, but it's more than that, ok? And I just need you please, Reese please to just trust me on this because I learned the hard way. And if you care for Sonny as much as you seem to, you need to just accept the truth, ok, because deep down where it counts, Sonny is all about Carly.
Carly: Michael couldn't have killed A.J.!
Jason: A.J. kidnapped Michael and emotionally abused him. By the time that kid came home, he was so confused and traumatized he couldn't even think clearly!
Carly: Ok, I still don't -- I still don't believe it. I don't care how confused and frightened Michael was. Michael --
Jason: Carly, he's been around me and Sonny his entire life. He knows that we protect our family at all costs. Michael overheard you and Reese talking about how A.J. was still a threat. I don't know what happened. Michael did, you know, what he thought he had to do to protect his brother and their sister.
Carly: You're wrong, Jason.
Jason: I'm wrong? I'm wrong?
Carly: Ok, Michael didn't do this.
Jason: You know that Monica loves Michael. She would do anything to protect her grandson.
Carly: How does Monica figure into this?
Jason: She saw it happen. Monica looked in A.J.'s room, and she saw Michael holding the pillow over A.J.'s face. She was going to go in, but an orderly was headed for the room, and Monica covered for Michael by distracting the orderly. Michael doesn't even remember what he did. That's why Sonny confessed -- so he will never have to remember -- and no one's going to know that he killed A.J.
Alexis: Did you honestly think that I was going to leave Kristina in Sonny's care?
Ric: So you were going to let Durant buy phony witnesses? I mean, you can actually justify manufacturing evidence --
Alexis: I didn't manufacture any evidence, and even if I had, so what? He has lied and cheated his way into sole custody of my daughter.
Ric: Did you even once think to share this with me, Alexis?
Alexis: I didn't think there was a big benefit in letting you know this.
Ric: Right, there never is because I am your husband, after all.
Alexis: You thought that I should just take my lumps and accept my fate --
Ric: Oh --
Alexis: And live happily ever after and have this be ok with me. It's not ok. It will never be ok. Everybody knows that Sonny's lifestyle puts Kristina in constant jeopardy. And despite the fact that she was kidnapped from his house, despite the fact that he massacred an entire family in cold blood, despite the fact that even the judge believes that Sonny is unsafe, and yet somehow this man manages to get sole custody of this little girl. The man belongs in prison, and if nobody can make that happen, then I'm going to do whatever I can to help.
Ric: Wait a minute. You're the one -- you're the one who told me that you heard Michael say that -- that Carly killed A.J.
Alexis: That's right. That's what I heard.
Ric: Yeah, and you pressured me into subpoenaing Michael for Carlyís trial. You also knew that Sonny would step forward to protect Michael from having to testify against his own mother.
Alexis: And it worked.
Ric: Alexis, you're trying to protect your daughter by tormenting her own brother.
Alexis: Oh, Ric, those are your words. You know that I would never do anything to hurt Michael. I knew it wouldn't go that far.
Ric: Really? Well, what if it had? Huh? Would you have destroyed Michael in order to protect Kristina?
Emily: Ok, Nikolas, you shouldn't be here.
Nikolas: No, I won't get any closer, ok?
Emily: Nikolas, I'm sorry, I really need you to leave.
Nikolas: Ok. I just have one question, then I'll go. Can you give me an honest answer?
Emily: I'll try.
Nikolas: Do you still love me?
Skye: I'm curious, Luke. Did you think about me at all? Did it occur to you to maybe pick up the phone and let me know that Helena was captured and that you were ok?
Luke: Well, it happened pretty fast.
Skye: Yeah, well, you know it happened pretty fast for Lucky and Emily. They had the decency to come by and fill me in.
Luke: So you already knew?
Skye: Are you getting this, Luke? Do you know I was worried sick about you, that my imagination was going crazy wondering if you were lying dead in a ditch somewhere? All because I thought that maybe, just maybe, when Helena was caught, you would call me and reassure me that you were all right.
Luke: I'm very touched by your concern.
Skye: Yeah, well, don't be. I'm throwing every last scrap of concern I had out the window.
Luke: Hey, I thought you already did that weeks ago when you said we were through.
Skye: Well, you know damn well that I still cared. I'm done. You've pushed me past the point of no return. So, where were we, hmm?
Jax: I understand that you're grieving.
Alan: You don't understand anything at all. You despised A.J. because Courtney filled your head with nothing but vicious lies.
Courtney: I didn't lie.
Jax: Alan, you just need to calm down, ok?
Alan: A.J. fell for that angelic face, and then so did you. She's nothing but a cold-hearted user.
Jax: You finished?
Alan: If you hadn't betrayed A.J., if you hadn't broken his heart, he'd still be alive.
Jax: Why are you roaming the hospital corridors late at night?
Courtney: I wanted to ask some questions about A.J.'s murder.
Jax: Sonny confessed to killing A.J. He's down at the PCPD as we speak.
Courtney: Sonny didn't kill him, ok, Jax? Neither did Carly.
Jax: It's a police matter now.
Courtney: The police aren't even looking into it. They're not. They're just accepting Sonny's confession.
Elizabeth: Karen -- Karen, I need a doctor.
Courtney: What happened?
Elizabeth: Cameron's got a really high fever and something's wrong and I don't know what to do.
Alexis: Do you honestly think that I would do anything to hurt Michael?
Ric: Come on, Alexis. You gambled on the outcome.
Alexis: You're twisting everything around. Durant wanted me to push you to get a psychological evaluation on Michael, but I refused.
Ric: Oh. Am I supposed to be impressed by your moral integrity here? You didn't need the psychological exam here. I had already subpoenaed Michael because you claim that you heard Michael tell Jason that he saw his own mother kill A.J.
Alexis: He did.
Ric: You pressured me into getting Michael to testify. Did you even have the slightest flicker of guilt about the pain that was going to cause that little boy?
Alexis: Yes, I did. There. Do you feel better now? I tried to back out of it. I tried to back out because I couldn't believe that Durant would do something so horrible to his own grandson.
Ric: What? What? Do what? Force Sonny to confess by manipulating me into subpoenaing his own child? Whose idea was that, Durantís or yours? My money's on you at this point. Alexis, you'll do anything, you will use anybody, even a traumatized 9-year-old. Don't you see that the end for you does justify the means?
Reese: Sonny confessed to protect Michael.
Jason: That's his choice.
Reese: Jason, taking the blame for A.J.'s murder won't help Michael.
Jason: Sonny is Michaelís father. He gets to decide what's best for his son.
Reese: And Michael has been through a terrible ordeal. Burying the truth is only going to hurt him more.
Michael: Mom? Mommy!
Carly: I'm right here, sweetheart.
Michael: I had this dream. I was being chased by someone. I wanted to run, but my legs were so heavy. Then I saw this light. I saw you and dad.
Carly: You're safe, sweetheart. I'll always protect you. And so will your dad.
Michael: Can you stay with me until I fall asleep again?
Carly: Sure, sweetheart.
Michael: Can dad sit with us, too?
Emily: I love you, Nikolas. I always will.
Nikolas: Come here, baby. Come here -- I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just -- you know, I want to --
Emily: No, no, don't apologize, Nikolas. I'm your wife. You should be able to hold me.
Nikolas: There are no "shoulds," Emily. I just want to know how you feel.
Emily: I can't stand the thought of being touched, Nikolas, by anyone, but especially by you. You're the most loving and most gentle man that I know, but you look so much like Connor. And it's like I try to get past it, but it's like this unconscious trick or -- you know, I see you and I flash on all those memories.
Nikolas: So is that why you couldn't bring yourself to come to Pentonville tonight?
Emily: I was in the car with Lucky and we were halfway there, and I just asked him to turn around and take me back home. Look, I love you, Nikolas, but no matter how hard I try, I just can't get past the rape.
Nikolas: Well, there's no rush. You know? Listen, we'll just -- we'll let some time pass, ok? In the meantime, we can just be together as friends like we --
Emily: No, time isn't going to heal what happened.
Nikolas: We're in love with each other. How can you say that?
Emily: And that love is going to last forever, Nikolas, but I need to love you from a distance. We need to lead separate lives.
Nikolas: What -- I don't -- look, I realize that you're suffering over this, but I don't understand why the only solution has to be a divorce.
Emily: It's the only way for me to stop hurting you.
Nikolas: Hurting me? You're the one who's hurting, and, Emily, I'm not going to leave you. I married you for better or worse, remember?
Emily: This isn't a marriage, Nikolas. You deserve so much more.
Nikolas: If you think that a divorce is going to force --
Emily: Look, it may take years, but sooner or later you're going to realize that this is the way to go.
Nikolas: You are the only woman that I'll ever love. You understand that? Huh?
Emily: I want you to be happy.
Nikolas: "Happy"? I am happy! I'm happy being your husband, and no time or distance is going to change that. I love you! Ok? And if I have to wait forever, then, damn it, that's what I'm going to do.
Lucky: Dad, we got Nikolas released from Pentonville.
Luke: I'm glad to hear it.
Lucky: Listen, I know I've been tough on you with this total obsession with Helena and --
Luke: Hey, look, forget it, it's over. I'm looking for a new hobby.
Lucky: What? I thought it was going to go on indefinitely. I even thought you'd be tempted to let Helena escape, you know, just to keep the rush going.
Luke: Damn, why didn't I think that? Hmm.
Lucky: Dad, what I'm trying to say is that you did the right thing. You caught her. Nikolas is free.
Luke: If this your long-winded way of saying thank you; I got a better idea.
Lucky: Yeah? What's that?
Luke: Why don't you and I knock back half a bottle of tequila and call it a night?
Lucky: Right on.
Lucky: Skye and Alcazar? What -- what's up with that?
Luke: Oh, she's making me jealous. Isn't it cute?
Lorenzo: You know, it's too bad this is only for show.
Skye: You mean too bad I'm not Carly.
Lorenzo: I'm not thinking about Carly.
Skye: Well, now that I've brought her up --
Lorenzo: You know, if Carly were sitting over there where Luke is, she'd be seeing us having an intimate conversation. Maybe she'd feel a flicker of jealousy. Might even ruin her night. And then she'd wake up tomorrow morning, and she'd still be tied to Sonny.
Skye: Well, she's divorcing him, and you're available. Things could change.
Lorenzo: Carly cares for me, and maybe someday she'd say she loves me, but it would never be on the terms that I want.
Skye: Luke is as every bit as unavailable.
Lorenzo: At least he's not hung up on his ex.
Skye: Oh. Are you kidding me? Luke will always carry a torch for Laura. In his mind, she was flawless in every way. Who can compete with that kind of perfection?
Lorenzo: Laura's pretty far in his past.
Skye: Yeah. Now he's found his new love -- his own impossible self.
Lorenzo: Oh. You know, how about I give you a lift home?
Skye: You mean walk out arm in arm, as in Luke might give a damn, which he won't?
Lorenzo: Something like that.
Skye: I thought you'd never ask.
Alexis: What's it that you want me to say to you, Ric? Do you want me to tell you that I'm flawed? I can do that -- I'm flawed. I am; I'm flawed. But so are you. And I'm willing to live with that. I'm not giving up on you. I don't want you to leave me. I want you to stay with me.
Ric: Do you?
Alexis: It's why I came back from London. I don't want to live without you. I want us to be a family, and that means more to me than anything else.
Ric: I love you, Alexis. But you lie so skillfully that I don't know when you're telling the truth or not. Look, I want to be able to trust you, but what good is it? There's always another lie.
Alexis: Is that what you think, because that's really unfair.
Ric: Well, it goes both ways. Nothing is more important to you than winning, Alexis. Not me, not Kristina, not -- not our baby. Everything pales in comparison to this ridiculous fight that you have with Sonny.
Alexis: This ridiculous fight is an effort to protect my daughter because she's too little to protect herself, and you -- you know very well that there wouldn't be an issue here if I thought she was safe.
Ric: More about protecting Kristina, or is it -- is it more about putting Sonny in his place?
Alexis: You really need to start thinking about what you're saying because you are sounding exactly like your brother.
Ric: Sonny is Kristinaís father.
Alexis: And that would be just fine with me -- if he weren't a manic-depressive criminal.
Ric: Ok, who gets to -- who gets to decide whether he's safe or not, huh? Who? We're all flawed, Alexis, you just said it. You are, I am, Sonny is. How perfect does a father have to be? I mean, where? Is it somewhere in between car bombs and taking trips to the zoo? How long before you decide that I'm not safe enough to be around our child?
Alexis: Oh, man.
Reese: Michael needs psychiatric care and a father who is there to help him through it. He'll be torn apart if Sonny goes to prison for killing A.J.
Jason: Sonny doesn't want Michael testifying and I agree with him.
Reese: Ok, no juvenile judge will hold Michael responsible for what happened. He will be found not guilty by reason of diminished capacity.
Carly: There won't be any verdict at all because there's no way Michaelís appearing in court.
Lucky: I can't believe you're actually joking about Skye and Alcazar.
Luke: When things are funny, I try to laugh. That joke's worn thin.
Lucky: Would you just go after her, dad?
Luke: No, no, no, no. She thinks I'm too dark. She thinks I'm dangerous, and a bunch of other stuff the tequila seems to have put into my memory.
Lucky: So she's going after Alcazar. Oh, that's a bottle of sunshine for you.
Luke: Women are mysterious. One day we're going to have a talk about the birds and the bees.
Lucky: Dad, wait a minute. You and Skye made a connection. She made you live again. Maybe you even love her. Are you really willing to let that go?
Luke: Jealousy and I don't dance anymore, son.
Lucky: Oh. You're proud. You're too proud to go after her, think you'll make a fool of yourself.
Luke: No, I think that it wouldn't make any difference.
Lucky: Well, there's only one way to find out.
Nikolas: Congratulating yourself on Helenaís capture, are you?
Luke: Well, if you're here to thank me, he's already done it, so why don't you run on home to your blushing bride.
Nikolas: Emily's not feeling very bride-like right now, Luke, since you locked her in that hellhole with a crazed sociopath.
Jax: You know, Rachelís a great pediatrician. I'm sure she'll figure out what's causing Cameronís fever.
Elizabeth: Yeah, yeah, I just panicked when it got to 103.5, you know? I know this happens to children, but he's never had a fever --
Jax: You know, Rachel didn't seem too concerned. I'm sure it's just something minor.
Elizabeth: Maybe I should have kept him at home a little longer before rushing to the hospital. It's just that my grandmother's not home and she always tells me what to do, and I just didn't know what to do.
Jax: Hey, you were just being a good mother.
Elizabeth: A good mother who worries too much.
Jax: You can't worry as much as my father did. When Jerry and I were kids, we were virtual prisoners to his polio obsession.
Elizabeth: His what?
Jax: Polio. You know, it was rampant when he was a kid, so when he became a father, you know, he was really worried that we would get it, as well.
Elizabeth: But you and your brother had to have been vaccinated, right?
Jax: Yeah, of course we were, but that didn't matter. You know, every time we had a fever or we said that we weren't feeling well, my father would say to my mother, "We should take them to the hospital, get them tested for polio."
Elizabeth: Oh, God, your poor mother. What'd she say?
Jax: Well, she said, you know, polio was virtually extinct and, you know, he said that if there's a one-in-a-million chance, it was worth a trip to the hospital.
Elizabeth: I thought I was paranoid.
Jax: Of course, we all gave him a hard time, you know -- John Jacks, the fearless adventurer, scared of the common cold.
Reese: Tell the truth about how A.J. died. For Michaelís sake, he needs psychiatric care to help him get through this.
Carly: Michael's coming out of his trauma. He's getting better. The last thing he needs is to drudge up some memory that's going to haunt him for the rest of his life.
Reese: The memory isn't gone. It's repressed.
Carly: And it's going to stay repressed.
Reese: Ok, Carly, a memory like this is a ticking time bomb. All right, yes, it may stay in his subconscious for months, maybe even years, but then it is going to come rushing back and it could put Michael in a state of shock.
Carly: Ok, you just love the scare tactics, don't you?
Reese: No, it's reality, and you have to deal with it so Michael can begin to heal.
Jason: How's Michael supposed to heal with people pointing at him, calling him a murderer?
Reese: Is it any better, Jason, for Michael if Sonny goes to prison? Do you want that little boy growing up without a father; having to visit Sonny in Pentonville? Carly, is that the life that you want for your son?
Jason: Ok, Sonny and Carly are doing what they think is best.
Reese: Fine, great, so everything I say right here is just not even making a dent, right? Ok. Just do Michael a favor, all right? Think about it.
Jason: I'm still not sure about her, but she made a few good points.
Carly: We just can't let Michael tell the truth. It may turn him into a circus freak. For the rest of his life, he'll be the boy who smothered his biological father to death. Oh. I don't even -- I don't know what's worse. I don't know, is it any better to be the boy whose father's in Pentonville for murder?
Jason: Carly, Carly, it's not going to happen. It's not going to happen.
Carly: How do you know?
Jason: Because I will not let it happen.
Luke: Well, maybe it's the tequila, but I don't recall doing anything to Emily except helping her get you out.
Nikolas: Helping -- come on, you don't give a damn about me or Emily. This whole scheme was just another round of cat and mouse for you with Helena.
Luke: Well, what are you complaining about? The rat's in her cage.
Nikolas: Yeah, and meanwhile, Emilyís dealing with the fallout of that, Luke.
Luke: She'll get over it.
Nikolas: She was left alone with that lunatic for weeks while he pretended to be me, all because of your little fixation with Helena.
Lucky: Nikolas, we all did what we thought was best at the time.
Luke: Fixation with Helena? What are you talking about? I was minding my own business, trying to have a life. Emily came to me, asked me to help her get you out. It was her idea to recruit Connor!
Nikolas: Right, right, and you just jumped all over it, didn't you, didn't you? I'm sure you told her that it was the only way to catch Helena and free me, never mind that it would ruin a life along the way.
Luke: I'm so through here.
Lucky: You know what; everybody was in on this, ok? We all made the mistake of judging Connor --
Luke: What mistake are you talking about? He's out! Look, if you're having troubles with your marriage, you know, if Emily isn't responding to you, if her absence didn't make her heart grow fonder, maybe she's just a little bit nervous being with an ex-con, you know?
Lucky: Hey, hey!
Nikolas: Shut up! Shut up!
Courtney: Well, that was impressive.
Jax: What was?
Courtney: You just now cheering up Elizabeth.
Jax: Oh. No, that was nothing.
Courtney: Yes, it was, Jax, come on. I mean, Elizabethís mind was just spinning out of control with worst-case scenarios like any mother's would, and you took the time to reassure her. It was nice.
Jax: Well, yeah, but you were being supportive, too.
Courtney: I just went to get coffee. Come on, I mean, you -- you were patient and you were kind.
Jax: Yeah, but --
Courtney: You even managed to make Elizabeth laugh. You were wonderful, Jax.
Jax: Anyone would have done that.
Courtney: See, you just -- you say that because it's automatic for you. It's true. I mean, you see someone hurting and you want to help. You know, I always joke about how you're my knight in shining armor --
Jax: Oh, stop, stop.
Courtney: You are, you are. I can't wait to marry you.
Jax: Well, neither can I. You are all the inspiration that I need.
Alexis: Hi. I've come for my daughter.
Carly: It's a little late, don't you think?
Alexis: I know what time it is and, no, I don't think it's too late. I don't want her here any longer than she needs to be.
Carly: Oh, here we go with the holier-than-thou.
Alexis: I have a court order, if you'd like to see that.
Carly: You're loving this, aren't you, Alexis, dragging your sleeping daughter out of her father's house in the middle of the night just as one last gotcha to Sonny.
Alexis: Sonny's parental rights are no longer in effect. It's a little difficult for him to care for Kristina within the confines of a cell.
Carly: I talked to Justus. I know you're the one who had Michael subpoenaed. You claim that Michael saw A.J.'s murder.
Alexis: I overheard Michael telling Jason that you killed A.J., and it was my duty to report that to the authorities.
Carly: Ok, yeah. You unbelievable hypocrite. You had Ric subpoena Michael as a way of pressuring Sonny into making a false confession.
Alexis: Carly, if you're worried about Sonny's innocence, then by all means set him free. You should march down right now to the PCPD and tell them that you killed A.J.
Sam: Oh, thank God. I was going to call you. Reese came by. She was wanting to talk to you because --
Jason: Yeah, I've seen her.
Sam: You did? Did she go through the whole little speech about how she thought that Sonny shouldn't have confessed to A.J.'s murder and that --
Jason: Ok, Sam, Sonny -- Sonny confessed because Michael killed A.J.
Sam: Are you sure?
Jason: Yeah. Michael heard Carly and Reese talking about how A.J. was still a threat. You know, he's traumatized, he's in a fragile state of mind, so he went into A.J.'s room, and apparently, he held the pillow over his face.
Sam: Oh, my God, Jason.
Jason: I know. But Michael repressed what he did. He does not remember. So Sonny took the blame to protect him.
Sam: That's what dinner was about. You were saying goodbye. You had decided to confess to A.J.'s murder.
Jason: And I'd be in lockup right now if Sonny hadn't reached the police station five minutes ahead of me.
Sam: We had a beautiful, candlelit dinner and we made love. And the whole time, you were keeping a huge secret. Which is ironic, because so am I.
Lucky: Stop. Get back.
Luke: What are you, crazy?
Nikolas: Connor raped Emily, and it's your damn fault. You left her to hide out with that maniac while you were chasing after Helena without even a single thought for Emily -- what?
Emily: Nikolas, stop, it's not Lukeís fault.
Nikolas: Wait -- don't defend him, Emily. He doesn't deserve it.
Emily: Look, Nikolas, I was raped, ok, and I've let it control me, and I need to stop because what I've done gives Connor all the power, and I can't let that happen. I want my life back. Nikolas, I want you and our marriage and the future we've planned. After everything we've been through and how hard we fought to be together, I'm not about to lose you now.
Mac: Agent Marshall. I assume you're here to see Sonny.
Reese: Actually, I'm here to speak to you.
Alexis: Ok, sweetie.
Michael: Why is Kristinaís mom taking her away in the middle of the night?
Carly: It's ok, honey. Her mommy just missed her so much that she couldn't wait till tomorrow morning.
Alexis: Let's put your robe on, darling. There you go.
Michael: How long will Kristina be gone?
Alexis: Oh, that's hard to say, honey.
Michael: Kristina likes the tree house. I told her that we would have a picnic there tomorrow.
Alexis: You're a very sweet big brother. You know that? And I'm glad you're home safe and sound. How about we talk about it later? Is that ok? Ok. Good night, honey.
Alexis: Come on, sweetheart.
Michael: Why is Kristina really leaving? Is she sick again or something?
Carly: No, sweetheart, she's ok.
Michael: And where's dad? Where did he go?
Carly: Yeah -- things are a little mixed up right now. But tomorrow, I'm going to straighten it all out.
Jason: Are you ok?
Sam: Yeah, I'm fine.
Jason: Ok, look, I just -- I want to tell you that I'm sorry for not telling you that I was going to confess. You know, I didn't want Michael to have to testify but, you know, with everything that we've been through, I just didn't want to hurt you.
Sam: Look, look, look, I understand, ok? I'm just really glad that you didn't get the chance to confess, because you might have gone into lockup without knowing what you might be leaving behind.
Jason: Ok. Well, what are you -- what are you talking about?
Sam: Ok, ok. Jason, I think I might be pregnant.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Emily: I really need to ask you something. How did Laura forgive you for raping her?
Alexis: You didn't come home last night.
Ric: Did you think I would?
Alexis: Enough is enough.
Jason: Did you take the test?
Michael: My dad killed A.J.?
Carly: I think I can get us out of this.
