Jason: Yeah, one of Faith's accounts shows payments on a credit card. Well, I need you to hack into the credit card records and find out where she spent the money. I want to know Faith's every move from November until the day she died. You got that? Okay, Stan, thank you. Call me when you've got it.

Sam: Whoa. I thought you were searching for Michaelís body, but from what you just said to Stan, it sounds like you expect to find him alive?

A.J.: I know it's -- it's not much, but at least it's a roof over our heads, huh?

Michael: Yeah.

A.J.: Excuse me. Oh, that fog -- it's getting cold and damp out there, isn't it?

Michael: Yeah.

A.J.: Hey, look -- let's start a fire, huh? Is that all right with you?

Michael: Sure.

A.J.: Okay. Ow.

[A.J. grunts]

A.J.: It's kind of like camping, isn't it?

Michael: Well --

A.J.: You know, Michael, that's something I always wanted to do with you. But Sonny and Carly would never allow that. I think they were too afraid if I was alone with you, I'd tell you the truth.

Michael: You're a big fat liar. You never tell the truth about anything.

A.J.: Let's make a deal. I'll tell you my version of how I was cut out of your life, and you can decide for yourself.

Carly: I'm not going to do this again.

Lorenzo: Do what?

Carly: Kiss you. That's what you want, right?

Lorenzo: No.

Reese: You're in my hotel room going through my things. That's the legal definition of breaking and entering.

Sonny: Technically, I didn't break in.

Reese: Well, I doubt a judge would appreciate the difference.

Sonny: You going to press charges?

Reese: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't.

Sonny: Well, I mean, why settle for this when you can send me to prison for rico violations for life, right? Because that's really what you're after, isn't it?

Lucky: It's okay. I'm here and I'm going to take care of you.

Emily: I'm just so tired, Lucky.

Lucky: You know what? It's all right now. You're safe. I'm going to keep you safe just like I've been doing since we were kids.

Emily: I wish we could go back and be kids again. The bad things that have happened would be magically gone. I wouldn't have to feel the way I do.

Lucky: What way?

Emily: I don't know. Like I just can't take it anymore.

Lucky: Can't take what?

Emily: Listen, Lucky. Why even talk about it? There's no going back. The worst is over, right? I just want to move forward, leave the past behind.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Emily: Elizabeth, hi.

Elizabeth: I stopped by to see how Lucky was settling in.

Lucky: I'm good, you know? Housekeeper -- she brought some snacks, got my room all made up. I'm kind of getting real used to all this attention.

Emily: Hey, Elizabeth, since you're here, would you mind staying with Lucky for a little while? I have to go run some errands.

Elizabeth: No. Not a problem.

Emily: Okay. I'll be back as soon as I can. Bye.

Lucky: Bye.

Elizabeth: Do you see what I mean?

Lucky: Emily's getting worse.

Ric: Oh -- Alexis? Alexis? You're going to be okay. You're going to be okay. We just got to get out of here.

Ric: Ugh. My legs are pinned. My legs are pinned. I'll just -- I'll call -- I'll call the hospital. They'll get an ambulance here for us. You're going to be fine. Don't worry. Where's my cell? I can't Ė

Jason: I need to find out why Michael died.

Sam: You mean, what was Faith's motive?

Jason: Yes. Did Faith always plan to kill him, or did she panic in the end? Was that sniper her only accomplice or was he a middleman? I need to find out if there's someone else out there who's also to blame, Sam.

Sam: Right, but if there is someone else out there, you're going to want them to pay, right? I don't -- I don't want to interfere, but I'm just warning you that Reese is still very close to this case. We don't know what her agenda is.

Jason: It doesn't matter.

Sam: It does. She's watching every move that you and Sonny make. I mean, what happens if you try to avenge Michaelís death? She's not going to look away.

Reese: You clearly don't believe in a strategic retreat.

Sonny: You going to bust me or not? Ahem.

Reese: My job is to investigate and arrest people who are involved in criminal activity. Do you fit that description?

Sonny: You tell me. I gave you all my information during the kidnapping case.

Reese: That's a start.

Sonny: Yeah, a start you chose to leave out of your report.

Reese: I already told you -- I don't take advantage of fathers who are desperately trying to save their children.

Sonny: It's your job. I mean, bringing me in would be a coup.

Reese: Well, things aren't always so black and white.

Sonny: Or maybe they are. Maybe you just want me to think that I can trust you, right? That explains your willingness to help me, and your uptightness and defensiveness whenever I ask you why.

Reese: And what would that trust accomplish, Sonny?

Sonny: Well, I don't know. Maybe you're starting to like me a little bit. Or you want me to think you are.

Emily: Hi --

Jason: Hey.

Emily: Jase. Hi, Sam.

Sam: Hi, Emily.

Jason: What's going on?

Emily: I came by to see how you were doing.

Jason: Uh -- you know, I'm all right.

Emily: Yeah. I tried to come up with some way to make you feel better. I know it's not realistic -- you loved Michael so much -- but, anyway, I made you some of my famous chocolate chip cookies.

Jason: Thank you. I appreciate it.

Sam: Um -- I actually was just leaving. I have to return this file to Agent Marshall. I will see you guys later.

Emily: Okay.

Sam: It's good to see you.

Emily: Yeah, you, too.

[Door closes]

Emily: You know, Sam doesn't have to run out the door every time I come to visit.

Jason: No, no, she could tell I wanted to be alone with you. What happened?

Emily: Nothing. Why do you ask?

Jason: What are you talking -- you're hurting. Something's wrong.

Emily: Yeah. There is.

Jason: Okay, well, just tell me what it is. I can fix it.

Emily: You canít.

Lucky: Emily trusts me. Sooner or later, she's bound to open up about the rape, okay? And then I can help her like I helped you.

Elizabeth: Lucky, you helped me because you loved me and I loved you, and that's what made me start to feel whole again. And you made me feel beautiful and desirable despite the ugly thing that happened to me. I mean, do you -- do you plan on loving Emily like that, I mean, not as a friend but as a woman?

Lucky: You know we're not like that.

Elizabeth: Okay, well, then maybe you're not the one to help her.

Lucky: It should be Nikolas, but he's in prison. He can't give her the support she needs, so I'm just here to fill in.

Elizabeth: I -- I know your intentions are good, but --

Lucky: Look, I know -- you know what? I am not Emilyís lover. I'm her oldest friend, and all I can do is do my best and just hope it's enough.

Lorenzo: I'm not trying to push some romantic agenda, Carly, I'm trying to help you. Look, if it's difficult to have me here, then I will leave and I will keep my distance.

Carly: It's not you, Lorenzo. It's me, okay? It's like I'm in this dark, pitch-black tunnel and there's no light at the end, and it just -- it goes on forever and ever. I physically ache for Michael. I do, and I would do anything just to hold him again or to see his face or sit down at the table with him and -- I just want something to distract me -- you know, pills, booze, you? I just -- I don't want to feel this pain, and I don't want to feel the loss over my child's death.

Lorenzo: But the loss doesn't go away that easily, all right? You just have to move forward, one day at a time.

Carly: I know, I know. And I have to be there and I have to move forward for Morgan.

Lorenzo: You also have to live for yourself.

A.J.: Michael? You see, your mother never liked me. I didn't know that at first. In fact, I -- I thought we were friends. But, see, she was pregnant. She knew that I was the father of her baby. She planned to steal you from me before you were even born. Your mother always liked Jason better than me. I don't know -- maybe you can understand that now that you know that Sonny and Carly like Morgan more that you.

Michael: That's not true.

A.J.: Anyway, she asked Jason to pretend to be your father and he agreed. So for over a year, I didn't know you were my son. So, of course, once I found out the truth, I tried to get you back. I even offered to share you with her. I even married her. But she didn't want to share you with me at all. In fact, she didn't want me anywhere near you. So she found someone else to push me out of your life for good.

Sonny: So, which is it? You trying to save me or set me up?

Reese: You're the one that's pursuing me. You break into my hotel room, you're pouring drinks.

Sonny: You haven't answered my question.

Reese: I'm still wondering why you asked it.

Sonny: Well, you're the one who says that this case is so personal for you.

Reese: Yeah. So, what, you assume that means that I am so dazzled by your charm that I'm falling in love with you?

Sonny: You said it. I didn't.

Reese: I mean, I totally understand why you're so confident. You've certainly had your share of women. I lost count just reading the substantial list in your file. So I'm just supposed to follow that pattern, just be the next woman in line?

Sonny: You're either trying to fool someone -- maybe it's me, maybe it's yourself.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Saved by the bell. Ahem. Hello?

Viola: Mr. Corinthos, it's Viola. Um -- were you supposed to take Kristina tonight?

Sonny: Why?

Viola: Alexis and Ric were supposed to be home 20 minutes ago and they haven't gotten here yet, and I was supposed to be off.

Sonny: Okay, listen to me, listen. I'm going to have my bodyguard Max pick Kristina up.

Viola: Okay.

Sonny: Don't open the door for anybody but him, okay?

Viola: Okay.

Reese: Is everything okay?

Sonny: Yeah, everything's fine.

[Ric grunts]

Ric: Agh! God!

Ric: There's no signal. There's no signal. Damn it. Somebody! Anybody out there? We need help!

Ric: Alexis -- Alexis, we don't have any cell reception, and we're miles from town. I need to go get help, all right? But first -- first, I got to try and get you out of here. Come on. Let's see --

Ric: Okay. Okay. You're trapped.

Emily: Jase, you're grieving for Michael. It's not fair of me to come over here and dump all of my --

Jason: You said I can't help. Maybe I can't, but I can listen.

Emily: Listen, I should go. Lucky's staying at Wyndemere --

Jason: No, no, no, no. Emily, you want to tell me, or you wouldn't have come over here in the first place.

Emily: I should've come to you first.

Jason: When?

Emily: Helena's alive. We have to prove it so that we can get Nikolas out of prison. So we -- I asked Connor Bishop to impersonate Nikolas. And the idea was that that would bring Helena out of hiding. But things went wrong and I had to go into hiding myself. I should've called you, Jase, and asked you to help. But the plan was for me to stay in a safe house with Connor, and I thought that that would get Nikolas out of prison faster.

Jason: Okay. So that's what you did.

Emily: I was so focused on the plan that I didn't see what was right in front of me. Connor was crazy, Jase. He thought that I belonged to him, and I didn't understand until it was too late, and then I tried to get away. I fought as hard as I could, but Connor trapped me in the basement. He -- uh -- threw me down, and I kept fighting, but he was stronger than I was.

Emily: Connor raped me.

John: Well, have you gotten any incriminating evidence against Corinthos yet?

Reese: Nothing so far.

John: Are you even looking?

Reese: Of course.

John: It's strange how an agent as experienced as you are could spend so much time with a known underworld figure and have nothing to show for it.

Reese: I will. I just need more time.

John: You're covering for Sonny and it's going to cost you your badge.

Reese: I am not covering for Sonny. I'm playing him.

John: Agent Marshall, you're running out of excuses.

Reese: No, it's true. I'm pretending to have feelings for Sonny to win his trust so I can gather the evidence we need to convict him.

Carly: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I don't want to fall apart.

Lorenzo: No, just cry as long as you want. Get the grief out.

Carly: But I shouldn't do this with you. It's not fair to you.

Lorenzo: I am not reading anything into it, all right? I'm just here to help you. No strings attached.

Carly: Why are you being so good to me?

Lorenzo: Because you've been everyone else's caretaker, Carly. It's time that someone cared for you. You were Michaelís mother, central figure in his life.

Carly: Now he's gone, and I don't know if I'm ever going to feel whole again.

Lorenzo: You will. It might take some time, but eventually you'll heal.

Carly: Thank you.

Lorenzo: For what?

Carly: For just letting me be myself, and letting me feel this loss.

Lorenzo: Oh Ė

Emily: Thanks for not making some standard, trite response like "it's going to be all right," or, you know, "just get counseling, therapy."

Jason: You need to do whatever feels right to you.

Emily: That's what I love about you, Jase. And why I felt so safe telling you.

Jason: All right, I -- I hate to even ask you this, but, you know, have you been tested for diseases?

Emily: Oh, God, no.

Jason: I'm not saying that you have to do it by any means, but you should --

Emily: No, no, no, no.

Jason: Probably just consider it to be safe.

Emily: I can't stand the thought of an exam. I -- I don't want anyone touching me. Maybe a blood test, but nothing else.

Jason: Okay. No, I understand.

Emily: I keep thinking that I'm going to get past it. You know, it's sick, it's wrong, but millions of women have been through it. You know, rape's always existed.

Jason: I know, but you can't, I mean, compare yourself to anyone else and make judgments on how you think you should feel at this time, you know?

Emily: I know, but I've always thought of myself as a strong person. But I feel so -- so weak, so wound up inside. I mean, Connorís dead. He can't hurt me anymore -- that's what I keep telling myself -- but it doesn't help. And I can't tell anyone. When I went to visit Nikolas, he knew something was wrong. I pulled away from him and he was hurt, and Nikolas thinks of me differently now.

Jason: Well, are you sure?

Emily: It's my fault, not his. Hey, Nikolas has been wonderful. He says that he still loves me. But even if he does, he looks like Connor. And every time Nikolas touches me, I see and feel Connor.

Reese: Hey, come on in.

Sam: Hey. I'm bringing back the file you lent to us.

Reese: Well, thanks for bringing it back so quickly.

Sam: I waited for Durant to leave because I didn't think you wanted him to know that you had lent it to us.

Reese: Good thinking.

Sam: Durant will do anything to put Sonny in prison. What about you?

Sonny: I'm taking you and Morgan back to my house.

Carly: Why?

Sonny: Kristina's nanny called. Apparently Ric and Alexis were late coming home. They haven't checked their messages. No one's able to contact them on the cell phone or anything.

Carly: Sonny, maybe they're on a date. Maybe they lost track of time.

Sonny: No, Alexis doesn't lose track of time. She schedules every day down to the minute. Plus, she's overprotective. You know, somebody could've just ambushed them, taken Kristina. I'm just saying we -- I'm a little worried here, you know?

Carly: Okay, I think you're getting worked up over nothing, I really do.

Lorenzo: I disagree. Sonny has a lot of enemies. Someone could be testing him.

Carly: Okay, well, no one is sick enough to kidnap his kids other than Faith.

Lorenzo: Carly, you don't know that. Someone could be using Faith's tactics. Ric, Alexis, Kristina -- they're the least protected. They're the most likely to be targeted.

Sonny: Come on, Carly. Let's go.

Carly: Fine. I'll get Morgan and Leticia.

Jason: I'd like to give you a hug, but, you know, if you don't want to be touched, I -- I totally understand.

Emily: Yeah, I don't know. Oh, Jase. I've just been so crazy --

Jason: Yeah.

Emily: Lately. I've been flipping out at the littlest things, yelling at people for no reason. Sorry if I do that to you in advance, okay?

Jason: I mean, you can do whatever you want.

Jason: Just take it easy.

Emily: You know, I'm so tired. I've been so afraid to sleep. I keep having these nightmares of being chased and attacked. I try to fight it but I canít. Oh. I wake up screaming.

Jason: I have an extra room. You can stay here.

Emily: No, no, no, I don't -- I don't want Sam to know. And promise me that you won't tell her, okay? Promise me that you won't tell anyone.

Jason: All right.

Emily: Listen, I have to get back to Wyndemere. Lucky's staying there and I promised that I'd take care of him.

Jason: Well, you -- you need to take care of yourself, too, Emily.

Emily: Oh, I know. It just keeps me distracted so I don't have to think.

Jason: Okay. I'm not -- I'm not going to tell you what to do. But I'm here if you need me.

Emily: I know. You know, telling you what happened and knowing that you're going to keep my secret, it's helped more than anything.

Reese: John Durant and I both work for the justice department, so I have a professional obligation to him.

Sam: And your job is to go after Sonny.

Reese: Oh, my job was to find Sonny's children. Now it's to gather information on organized crime.

Sam: Look, Durant is a man who connects the dots. He knows you've gotten close to Sonny. I'm sure he's expecting you to bring him in.

Reese: You're right, he is.

Sam: Okay, then what happens next? Durant gets what he wants?

Reese: If Sonny and Jason don't break the law, then I have no reason to investigate. In fact, there's nothing that I would like better than to assure my superiors that Sonny and Jason are simply coffee importers.

Sam: Then you are in luck, because that is exactly what they are.

[Phone rings]

Reese: I'm going to have to get that.

Sam: Okay. Here -- thank you. I'll leave this here.

Reese: Okay. Ahem. Hello?

Lorenzo: Agent Marshall? Lorenzo Alcazar. I thought you should know that Ric Lansing and Alexis Davis have disappeared.

Reese: When were they last seen?

Lorenzo: They went out in Lansingís car. That's the last anyone's heard of them. If someone is moving against Sonny by targeting his family, I want Carly and Morgan protected.

A.J.: Let's eat.

Michael: No.

A.J.: All right, you know what, then? I'm just going to leave it out here for you in case you change your mind. Come on, Michael, you must be hungry. You know, hunger is the worst feeling in the world. It reminds me of the time Sonny locked me up in a meat locker. Sonny and Carly ever tell you anything about that?

Michael: No, because it wasn't true.

A.J.: No, I wish it wasn't. But it is. I guess it was the only way Sonny thought that he could get what he wanted. You see, Michael, they had custody of you. But Sonny couldn't adopt you and change your name to Michael Corinthos iii until I signed over the papers giving up my rights as your father. I refused. Next thing I know, a couple of Sonny's men grabbed me and shut me up in a meat locker. They hung me on a meat hook. They said they'd leave me there until I signed it. I didn't want to. I held out as long as I could. Then I -- I got cold and hungry. I had no choice. Sonny would've left me on that hook until I died.

A.J.: You still think I'm lying? Hmm? Or do you know Sonny well enough to recognize the truth when you hear it?

Leticia: Come on, Kristina. It's time to go to bed.

Max: Oh. There you go. Yeah, I picked Kristina up from the nanny, brought her straight here. I didn't have any problems, I wasn't followed.

Sonny: Okay, listen; I want guards under her window and outside their doors. You get me?

Max: Yes, Sir.

Sonny: All right.

Carly: Sonny, this is crazy.

Sonny: You got a problem with me taking precautions?

Carly: So you going to let Morgan toddle in the hallway, or is that going to be too dangerous?

Sonny: I need to make sure my children are safe. I mean --

Carly: Well, you canít. You canít. You know you -- you can protect them, but there's no guarantee, Sonny. I mean, even in the best of situations, there's no such thing as a perfect, danger-free life.

Sonny: I can get close enough.

Carly: Okay, Sonny, so, wait -- is this how it's going to be, then? Any -- you're going to just keep your kids under lock and key anytime the mood hits you?

Sonny: Ric and Alexis are missing. What do you want me to do?

Carly: You don't know that, Sonny. You don't know if that's true, and I think that you're overreacting here.

Sonny: Oh, now I'm overreacting because I want to protect my children? Is that what you're trying to say?

Carly: No, you're trying to center their lives on Michaelís death! Sonny, I don't think you're trying to prevent a kidnapping. I think that what you're trying to do is you want to rewrite history. And you want to stop the first one from happening. It's like in your head, you think if you have enough guards or you have enough people threatened, that somehow Michaelís going to come back. He's not coming back, Sonny. And you need to face it, and you need to let him go. We need to let him go.

Sonny: Believe what you want. But I'm still going to do everything I can to keep my children safe.

Ric: Oh, that's it. It's okay. It's okay. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. That's it. It's all right. It's all right. Watch your head. Watch your head.

Ric: Okay. Your pulse is good. You're strong, okay? You're going to be all right. So are you, little one. It'll all be over soon. We're going to get out of here and we'll all be okay. I'll get us some help -- somehow.

Emily: Lucky?

Lucky: Hey.

Emily: Hey. Has Elizabeth left?

Lucky: Yeah. She had to go to work.

Emily: Sorry. I didn't mean to leave you alone.

Lucky: No, it's okay. Where'd you go anyway?

Emily: Oh, I just had to run a few errands. I picked up some wine and appetizers.

Lucky: Great. You know what? Let's just have a picnic right here.

Emily: Like the one we had last summer when you took me to the park?

Lucky: Yeah, a lot's changed since then.

Emily: You told me you loved me. You have no idea how many times I've thought of that day, wondering what would've happened if I'd chosen you, and how things would be different if I had.

Sam: So, I took the file back to Reese, and guess who was coming out of her hotel room just as I was coming in -- John Durant.

Jason: Yeah.

Sam: He is obviously pressuring her to get evidence against you and Sonny, but she says as long as the two of you don't break the law, then she has no -- are you okay?

Jason: I was just thinking how -- how things happen that are so -- so terrible. The pain never goes away, some days are better than others, but it's just always there.

Sam: Like Michaelís death. I know what it's like. I mean, there's no way to make peace with it.

Jason: Oh. The only thing that helps just a little bit is to know why.

Sam: I really thought it would help you to talk to your sister.

Jason: It did. It did help me. It made me realize that I got to see this thing through with Michael. I'm going to keep searching until I find out for sure what happened to him.

Carly: What do you think, sweet Morgan? Should we say a little prayer? Should we say a little good-night prayer like you used to do with -- um -- with your big brother, Michael? Aw, it's -- I know, I know, I know. Let's just say a little prayer, okay, about him. We could say "Dear God," hmm? Dear God, please bless Morgan and -- and Kristina and Mommy and Daddy and everybody that they love. And the horsy. Bless the horsy? Hmm. And please keep us all safe here on earth. And please -- please bless Michael in heaven. Amen. Amen.

Sonny: A.J. -- He wanted a son to impress his family. He wasn't ready to be a father. And he wasn't good to your mother. But I made sure that A.J. could never get you back.

Michael: What did you do?

Sonny: I took care of the situation.

A.J.: It's good, isn't it?

Reese: There's been no sign of Ric and Alexis.

Sonny: I called the local police to report them missing. Why are you here?

Reese: Lorenzo Alcazar called and told me.

Sonny: All right. So, are you going to say that I'm overreacting in the whole thing, right?

Reese: After what happened to Michael, I think you're completely justified in expecting the worst. I'm not here to second-guess you, Sonny. I'm here to help.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Ric: I'll be back soon.

Lucky: You said you didn't feel the same way.

Emily: Not then, but so much has changed.

Sonny: I don't want your help.

Reese: I'm offering you advice.

Carly: Is this a bad time?

Sam: Let me help you through this.

Jason: There's nothing you can do.
