Courtney: Don't you have an important meeting to go to?

Jax: Yes, but it's a boring meeting with a bunch of boring people. I'd rather spend some more time with you.

Courtney: Hmm. Then hurry back.

Jax: Ok. I'll hurry back.

Rachel: Am I interrupting?

Courtney: It's all yours.

Skye: I set Faith loose on those kids. I helped her escape from prison.

Ric: Why?

Skye: I didn't want to be a fugitive. I didn't kill that detective. I didn't want to waste my life running, so I cut a deal with her. She confessed to the murder, and I helped her escape from prison.

Reese: You must've had an accomplice.

Skye: No. It was my idea, mine alone. I did it completely by myself.

Sonny: Skye gets convicted of killing a cop. Short time after that, Faith confesses to Skyeís crime. Skye's a free woman. Short time after that, Faith escapes. Somebody had to help her, somebody, you know, who owed her a favor.

Luke: It was an even trade. A million bucks and a way out of prison for her false confession.

Sonny: Did you pay her with cash?

Luke: A wire transfer to her bank in the Cayman Islands.

Sonny: Can you get me the account number?

Luke: I'll put it with her other information.

Sonny: That would be a lot of help, Luke.

Luke: Look -- I better get started.

Sonny: Luke? I'm happy Lucky's ok.

Justus: I'm sorry, what'd you say?

Faith: Don't do this.

Justus: No, no, no, that wasn't it. What'd you say?

Faith: Please don't! Michael's alive!

Justus: Where is he, Faith? Huh?

Faith: I can't tell you!

Justus: And why should I believe you?

Faith: I can't tell you.

Justus: How do I know I can trust you?

Faith: Because -- because of who we were, because of who I was. Justus, I swear -- I swear on our love I did not -- I did not kill Michael Corinthos!

Justus: Got it. Thank you.

Steven: I promised I'd handle the forensics in the A.J. murder and I will. This just arrived from the Bahamas.

Alan: Why did it take so long?

Steven: The Bahamian police were very careful to preserve the chain of evidence. This package contains all the forensic material, including hair, tissue samples.

Alan: You're going to analyze this yourself?

Steven: Right away.

Alan: Why hasn't Mac made an arrest?

Steven: Sir, no one wants a rush to judgment.

Alan: Nobody wants to arrest the sister of Sonny Corinthos.

Steven: Maybe that's true, maybe it's not, but this evidence won't lie.

Alan: This evidence is going to prove what I already know -- that Courtneyís a cold-blooded murderer just like her brother, and she murdered my son.

Rachel: You want me to take this money?

Courtney: It's called a payoff.

Rachel: Where did you get it?

Courtney: What difference does it make?

Rachel: Well, there must be tens of thousands in here, Courtney.

Courtney: There's a million and change. I embezzled it from my foundation.

Rachel: To give to me?

Courtney: I don't know how I'm going to explain it to the Board of Directors, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

Rachel: No. No, you need this money for the kids.

Courtney: You actually expect me to believe that you care? How many times have you threatened to send me to jail, to kill Jax? This is over, starting now!

Rachel: So you want me to disappear?

Courtney: God, Rachel, my nephew is probably dead. My brother and my best friend are grieving the loss of their son. My family needs me, ok, and so does Jax. I can't deal with all of that and deal with you, too. Look, you are a good doctor. Just please take the money; go start a clinic someplace else. Just start a new life; create that future that you've always wanted. I don't care what you do; just get out of my face!

Rachel: Look, I am so sorry.

Faith's voice: Please don't! Michael's alive!

Justus' voice: Where is he, Faith? Huh?

Faith's voice: I can't tell you! I can't tell you.

Justus' voice: And why should I believe you?

Faith's voice: Because -- because of who we were, because of who I was. Justus, I swear -- I swear on our love I did not -- I did not kill Michael Corinthos!

Justus: Now all we have to do is find Michael. I'm sure Faith will help us out.

Faith: He forced me to talk.

Justus: You want me to do it again?

Faith: Tried to smother me with this pillow.

Mac: Is that true?

Justus: You want to find Michael or not?

Mac: I want a clean case. Go out in the hall and cool off.  Why don't you let this be over, Faith? Tell us where Michael is.

Faith: He's dead.

Skye: I don't know why Faith requested to share my cell. But I saw it as a sign, a perfect opportunity, so I took it. I escaped, she confessed to killing Ross Duncan, and then I paid her a fortune to lie and I helped her escape.

Ric: Where'd you get the money from?

Skye: Trust fund that I cashed out. It was completely untraceable.

Reese: Why would Faith work with you?

Skye: What choice did she have?

Reese: Faith's a major contender in organized crime.

Lorenzo: Faith murdered the leadership of the five families. Makes sense that the mob would want to keep her in prison.

Skye: That's right. Faith had to depend on me.

Reese: So why would you trust her?

Skye: I didn't trust Faith, but she was my only chance to remain free. I just -- I thought she'd disappear. I never imagined --

Lorenzo: No one did.

Reese: You knew about this?

Skye: No. I am responsible, ok? Those kids would be fine if I just waited out my appeal, if I hadn't arranged for her to escape.

Ric: You know what? This is a crock.

Skye: What, you don't believe me?

Ric: You couldn't have done this alone. You had to have an accomplice, Skye, and I think I know who it is.

Sonny: Luke wire-transferred $1 million into one of Faith's accounts last November. He's willing to give us the number and her records.

Jason: Ok. That should help.

Sonny: Luke admitted he broke Faith out of prison. My old friend set that psycho free to kidnap my children. He couldn't have known, though, right? He was buying a false confession, you know? That was the deal to get her out of prison. I mean, he shouldn't be blamed for what happened after that, right?

Jason: Do you believe that?

Sonny: I don't know. Luke and I were friends, you know, up until, well, we thought Lucky died in a burning building and he blamed me, you know, of -- do you remember what he said that night?

Jason: No.

Sonny: "What's a dead son between friends?"

Jason: Sonny, Michaelís not dead.

Sonny: Luke knew Faith was crazy. He knew she hated me. He didn't even warn me. My kids were terrorized, now I got one missing. I mean, you know, friend or no friend, he should have to pay, you know, and answer for that.

Jason: I agree. But we need those records.

Sonny: I know, I know. But if we don't find Michael, if we don't find my son -- go get the records and tell Luke that -- thank him for that, ok?

Jax: I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you -- losing A.J., and now Michael is missing?

Alan: Courtney killed my son and you know it.

Jax: Yeah, I understand that you're grieving, but I cannot allow you to take your frustrations out on Courtney.

Alan: Courtney was in the room the night that A.J. died. The hotel manager saw her attack him.

Jax: She went down there to get a legal divorce from A.J. She didn't go down there to kill him, Alan.

Alan: That doesn't mean she didn't do it.

Jax: Oh, this is nonsense and you know it.

Steven: Ok, can we please just calm down until I get a chance to review the evidence?

Alan: Courtney killed A.J. and you won't admit it.

Steven: Ok, nobody has to admit anything right now.

Jax: Look, I'm sorry that you're having a difficult time with this. But understand I won't allow Alan or anyone else to blame Courtney for the murder.

Rachel: I wanted to be a doctor since I was a little girl. Look at the choices I've made. I deliberately took a man's life. And for what? So that you would kill a man that I once loved with all my heart. And when you refused, I just -- I didn't know what to do and I threatened you. I mean, I had to, and I threatened Jax. I mean -- look, I said stupid things, Courtney, but I would never -- I would never hurt somebody who didn't hurt me first.

Courtney: A.J. Quartermaine never hurt you.

Rachel: I just don't understand how this happened. I don't know why I deliberately took a man's life. I don't know why I barged into your house. I mean, I have plenty of money. I could buy a house. I could rent an apartment.

Courtney: That sounds like a good plan.

Rachel: My plan -- it was simple, ok, it was perfect. I just -- I thought that once Steven paid for what he'd done, that I would be fine, that I'd be able to move on, and I just -- I couldn't see past that. I never thought of you as a real person. I never thought about all the things that you had to lose. I never thought of your nephew out there somewhere, or the man that you were going to marry. You were a means to an end, and I won't go through with this. I will not make you go through with this insane plan. I won't do it.

Skye: Why would Luke break Faith out of prison?

Ric: I don't presume to know how Luke Spencer thinks. Maybe he was trying to help you.

Reese: I think you know more than you're saying.

Lorenzo: Really?

Reese: I reviewed the transcripts of this case. A psychiatrist and his assistant transferred Faith into a mental institution. She vanished when she got there. That's how Faith Rosco escaped.

Skye: Hello. I was the assistant. I paid an actor to impersonate the shrink.

Reese: Can you give us a name?

Skye: No.

Ric: Nice try. The psychiatrist had to be Luke Spencer.

Skye: Oh, that's ridiculous!

Reese: Why are you covering for him?

Skye: Luke would never do anything like that.

Lorenzo: Well, sometimes it's best to know when to quit.

Reese: Should I bring in Spencer or do you want to do the honors?

Ric: Well, I'm not sure --

Skye: Hey, look -- listen. Do you have any idea what Lukeís been through with Lucky; how difficult his life is at the moment?

Ric: Why don't you just tell us who your accomplice is and we'll take it from there?

Skye: I was acting alone, ok? So you either arrest me or you let me go.

Ric: How about a third option?

Sonny: I keep -- I keep hearing Michael upstairs running around. I imagine he's going to come through that door, tell us it's all a trick.

Carly: I wouldn't put it past him.

Sonny: Then I hear that gunshot. But I got to tell you, I keep praying.

Carly: You're praying? I'm not praying. I'm not because I'm too mad to pray. Look, I know it's wrong, it may be arrogant, but come on. How would God let this happen? Why would he do this?

Sonny: God didn't do this, I did. I -- I promised Michael I'd take care of him. I didn't do that. I let him down. I'm a selfish man. I took him from Jason, from A.J. No, God's -- you know, he's -- he wants to punish me, so he's going to take my son away from me. I understand that.

Carly: Ok, so why are you praying?

Sonny: I'm asking God to forgive me.

Ric: Faith, Luke, and Skye were all business partners in a casino called the Haunted Star.

Reese: Right, I'm aware.

Ric: Faith used to launder her money through the casino.

Skye: Luke and I never had anything to do with that.

Ric: Her money was funded through the club accounts.

Reese: So there are records of where the money was transferred?

Ric: Yes.

Reese: What can you tell me about Faith's business in the Cayman Islands?

Skye: A lot of offshore accounts.

Reese: Ok, I want the records -- the people, the connections, anyone who was involved with Faith Rosco.

Skye: All right, I'll give you everything I've got, officer, as long as Luke stays out of it.

Ric: Look, I don't think sending them to prison is going to do anybody any good.

Reese: All right, here's the deal. If you can give us anything that leads us to Michael Corinthos, you get a free pass. If not, those aiding and abetting charges are still pending.

Jax: Hey.

Alexis: Hi.

Jax: How's Kristina?

Alexis: She's doing really well. I just came to pick up a prescription in case she needs it.

Jax: Mm-hmm.

Alexis: What's up? What do you need?

Jax: I need a favor. Courtney might be in trouble.

Alexis: Whatever you need. I'm your friend.

Jax: Look, Alan thinks that -- you know, he's convinced that she killed A.J., so she's going to need a lawyer.

Alexis: She's got one.

Jax: You sure you have the time?

Alexis: I want my life to get back to normal. I have a lot to be grateful for. I've got Kristina back, and I'm having another one.

Jax: Really?

Alexis: Yeah, Ric and I are pregnant. I -- we're both surprised --

Jax: Well --

Alexis: Stunned, actually.

Jax: Congratulations.

Alexis: Thanks. Before I get started, I want to ask you one thing. Do you think Courtney killed A.J.?

Jax: If Courtney did that, we'd both be out of the country by now.

Rachel: I can't take back what I've done, and I don't expect you to forgive me. The only thing that I can do is just stop.

Courtney: And then what?

Rachel: And then I'll have to live with myself. I'll have to make amends.

Courtney: Well, this money will help you get started someplace else.

Rachel: No, I don't want the money. Look, if I'm going to start a clinic, I will find backers. I'll do it myself. I can't take anything from your foundation. I've already done enough to you.

Courtney: Yeah. Yeah, you have.

Rachel: I don't expect you to forgive me.

Courtney: Good.

Rachel: But if you could just keep quiet --

Courtney: Why should I, Rachel, huh? I mean, I already know that you killed A.J. You tried to frame me for it. Why shouldn't I go to the police?

Rachel: Because who is that going to help? I mean, there is no evidence. And what if I'd been in jail when Mrs. OíLearyís daughter got sick? I mean, I don't want to brag, but I did save that girl's life.

Courtney: Ok, Rachel, you're a good doctor, there's no question. But there are plenty of good doctors in Port Charles.

Rachel: Maybe I should just cut my losses and go.

Courtney: If you do, I'll keep quiet.

Rachel: Ok. If that's what you need. But, I mean, is that going to cause problems at the hospital? Everybody knows I'm living with you.

Courtney: No, you decided to leave. It's no big deal. And it's the only -- only thing that's going to stop me from going to the police.

Rachel: You know, if that's what you want to do, and your foundation -- it might withstand the trial. People might actually believe that I framed you.

Courtney: Why wouldn't they?

Rachel: Look, if you want to go to the police, if you want to call them, I will go down there with you right now.

Courtney: Look, if I agree to keep quiet, will you promise that you will not hurt anyone else, including Jax?

Rachel: Yes.

Courtney: And you'll find a new place to live?

Rachel: Of course, of course, as soon as possible.

Courtney: Then I'll keep quiet --

Rachel: Thank you.

Courtney: And so will you -- about the money, about everything.

Rachel: I understand.

 [Door opens and closes]

Skye: Hey. I need any records of Faith's wire transfers, any money she sent out of the club. Oh, and I need the number of that bank account where we deposited that million that we paid her to lie for me.

Luke: You did it, didn't you?

Skye: What, confessed? Absolutely.

Luke: I can't believe it.

Skye: Luke, don't worry about it. I didn't mention your name.

Luke: You keep telling yourself that.

Skye: It's true, ok? Now, the police might suspect that you're my accomplice, but I never confirmed it. In fact, I managed to cut a deal. I give them Faith's financial records and any other info I can manage to scrounge up on her, and if it leads to Michaelís whereabouts, well, they won't press any charges.

Luke: Well, then it worked out well for you.

Skye: And for you, Luke. You won't be involved at all.

Luke: As I said, keep telling yourself that.

Skye: Yeah, well, you know, we couldn't really cover this one up this time. There were way too many people involved in this little caper -- Justus, Dillon, me, people who knew Michael, people who feel responsible. I know you don't think that it's our fault, but I disagree. You see, when you let a madwoman free and she kills a child, it is your fault.

Sam: Do you think this is everything Luke has on Faith?

Jason: I don't think he has any reason to lie, I hope.

Sam: All right. Well, why don't you let me get them organized, Jason. I know you're exhausted. You just -- you need to get some rest.

Jason: No, I canít. I can't sleep if I know Michaelís out there somewhere. All right.

Carly: You didn't cause what happened to Michael.

Sonny: Don't say things that aren't true, Carly. Not this late in the game.

Carly: Sonny, Faith took Michael because she is crazy.

Sonny: And I knew that. I just didn't take her seriously. I had every chance to kill her. Michael would be home with you if I did.

Carly: Listen to me. You have a choice right now. Ok, you can get lost and you can go into that dark place if you want, or you can stay here with the rest of us. But Michaelís going to need you when he gets home. And he needs you right now to believe in him and to fight for him, because we are his parents, Sonny, and that is our job.

Luke: Feel better?

Skye: Well, I imagine it's enough to keep me out of prison. Though, I really don't think Ric Lansing wants to prosecute. I mean, why make public knowledge the fact that we were so easily able to scam our way into a maximum-security prison and just waltz out with a homicidal maniac? Oh, I just hope and I pray that there's enough information here to get Michaelís whereabouts and that he's alive. I might not be any less culpable, but at least I won't contribute to the death of a child.

Luke: So this overenthusiastic sense of guilt that you're blessed with -- it's only satisfied by some transcendent illusion of redemption?

Skye: I'm a shallow person, Luke. I happen to like luxury and comfort. Pentonville was awful and, yes, I don't want to go back there, so who knows? If charges had been filed, maybe I would've posted bail and fled the country. It's really hard to tell. But what I do know is I'm taking responsibility and trying to make amends. It's no excuse for what I did, but at least it makes it a little easier to live with myself.

Sam: You need to eat, ok?

Jason: Yeah, I probably should eat.

Sam: It's just some leftovers --

Jason: Ok.

Sam: But --

Jason: You're good to me. Thank you.

Carly: I didn't expect to see you here.

Lorenzo: I could say the same.

Carly: You're praying?

Lorenzo: Sophie believed that prayer could change the world. Then again, she also thought she could save the world.

Carly: Well, no wonder she was the love of your life.

Lorenzo: Hmm. I'm in a different life now, but I still think of her. She died in the crossfire, fighting a fight that was not hers to fight.

Carly: You mean like Michael? He's not dead. He's not. I'd know. I would feel it. You know, I want to pray. I want to pray -- that's why I'm here -- and I just -- I'm trying and I canít. I'm so angry. And so instead, I'm going around and I'm trying to keep people strong and I'm trying to keep people from falling apart.

Lorenzo: Ignoring your own pain.

Carly: I -- I don't know. Yeah. I mean, I --

Lorenzo: Carly, you do not have to do that with me.

Carly: When I was little, I went to church. Right? I would -- I would take these lists. They were prayer lists. It was like God was Santa. Except you never knew if he was going to show up or not. I don't know where to start. I just donít.

Lorenzo: Why don't you start by saying what you're grateful for?

Carly: I'm not good at gratitude. I'm not, because Michael didn't deserve this. Neither did I, and I want my son back. How's that for a prayer?

Lorenzo: Obviously, this isn't helping.

Carly: Look, I -- just stay with me, please.

Alexis: Hi.

Ric: Hi.

Alexis: Can you say hi to Ric?

Ric: Hi, sweetheart.

Alexis: That's a good girl. You're just the best, do you know that? You are the best.

Ric: You want to play with your toy?

Alexis: Here, sweetie. There you go, and here's your guys. Your guys are right there. You take anything you want, darling, huh? Any leads on Michael?

Ric: Not yet. How is she?

Alexis: She's fine so far.

Ric: She say anything else?

Alexis: Just that Michaelís gone.

Ric: He's got to be somewhere. He can't just disappear. Oh, look at the time. It's -- I got to get home.

Alexis: No, you stay here. You work on this. Nothing is more important to me

Reese: Thank you, Max. Skye Quartermaine and Luke Spencer are going through their records for any connections Faith might have made.

Sonny: I know that already. Luke was over here. Why don't you go ahead and call it a night, go home.

Reese: No, I can't, Sonny. I got to go through my notes again. I got to get on the internet.

Sonny: Why are you so invested in this?

Reese: It's my job.

Sonny: No, I know it's your job but, I mean, can't you just write Michael off as a casualty of a mob war?

Reese: We're not in a mob war.

Sonny: Why does he matter to you? Do you get obsessed with every single case?

Reese: Yes -- if there are children involved, yes.

Sonny: Why?

Reese: Because the first kid I was supposed to find never made it home.

Jax: Hey.

Courtney: Is Rachel around?

Jax: No. She was gone when I got here. We got the whole place to ourselves. You ok?

Courtney: Oh, God, I'm so glad to see you.

Jax: Hmm.

Courtney: Hey, tell me everything is going to work out.

Jax: Everything is going to work out.

Courtney: It has to.

Rachel: Hi. Are you busy?

Steven: Yeah, I am.

Rachel: Is that the A.J. Quartermaine murder?

Steven: Yeah.

Rachel: His parents just must be frantic.

Steven: It's -- it's difficult, yeah.

Rachel: Well, at least nobody's suspecting Courtney anymore. Are they?

Steven: Come on, I can't discuss a pending investigation, Rachel.

Rachel: I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything. It's just that there's no possibly way that Courtney had anything to do with that murder.

Steven: I agree, and I do think that this evidence is going to back me.

[Phone rings]

Steven: Oh -- Ok, I got to take this.

Rachel: Sure.

Steven: Steven Webber. Uh-huh.

Carly: All right. Oh. Dear God, bless Michael and take care of him, ok? Right, gratitude, gratitude. I -- um -- Morganís home, Kristinaís home, and I want Michael home, too. How's that for gratitude? Can you manage that? Ok, that's rude, that's disrespectful, I know. I'm sorry, I'm just -- I'm not good at this. And you know that. I just -- I just want my son, you know? I want you to take care of him. And I want -- I want to know that wherever he is, he's going to be ok and he's going to be safe, and he's not hurting and he's not hungry. God, I just -- I want my son. He needs his family and I need him and I really want you to bring him home! So can you do that? Can you just give him back to me? Please, just give me -- give me my son back.

Sonny: Here you go. Ahem.

Reese: It was my first case, a Chicago suburb. The boy was Michaelís age. His father was real wealthy. He was all dialed into the Chicago political machine. It was very high profile. I was under so much pressure. I tracked the suspect through emails and I swear I found the guy who fit my profile. He was perfect. Everybody was really impressed. The department spent thousands and thousands of dollars just trying to track this guy down. And then one day we get a phone call that somebody found a kid in a place that just didn't make any sense. "Statistically improbable" -- that's exactly what I told the cops. But it was the boy -- in the corner of a filthy room. I thought he was sleeping. His body was still warm. We missed the kidnapper by seconds, and he just didn't fit the profile. So the whole time we were searching for somebody else. And I can't let that happen again.

Sam: Yeah, well, what do we have so far?

Jason: Well, what we know is that Faith has been sending money to the Cayman Islands.

Sam: Ok, but why would she want Michael, and why would she say she lied about him? The obvious answer to me is to make Sonny mad and to hurt him, but I don't see the connection between that and all these numbers here.

Jason: Maybe there was someone else involved.

Faith: Get me out of here before the trial. If you don't, I will tell them all about you.

>> Next week on "General Hospital" --

Sonny: You've proven you want the same thing I do -- to get Michael back.

Reese: You're very invested in this, aren't you?

Jason: Michael survived.

Sam: Then we keep going.

Jason: I found the money trail. Who has Michael?

Carly: I know Michaelís alive. You want me to give up? I know he's going to come home.
