Nikolas: Don't you know you're safe with me, huh? So whatever it is that you have to tell me, I'll try and understand.

Emily: There is something that I need to tell you.

Nikolas: Well, what is it?

Emily: I'm sorry, Nikolas, but you're not going like to hear it.

Nikolas: Will you just say it? What is it?

Emily: I want a divorce.

Nikolas: That's not true. You still love me. I know you do. So will you please tell me what's really going on?

[Lullaby plays]

Jason: They're gone.

Sam: It's still cold. Jason, I think we just missed them.

 [Pounding on door]

Madam: Ok, ok. You don't have to bang the doorbell.

Michael: Please, you got to help me! We've been kidnapped! The bad guys are right behind me!

Madam: Take it easy, kid. We'll let the police sort this out.

Man: That won't be necessary.

Michael: Get away from me!

Man: Come on, Michael. I can't just let you run away.

Reese: Carly, I know we're not on good terms here, but the lives of your children are at stake.

Carly: Oh, believe me, I am aware of that.

Reese: Sonny has been undermining this investigation. Instead of helping, he is making things worse. I know you've witnessed his nervous breakdowns before. Is he having one now? Because if he is, Sonny needs to be put away for the sake of his children. Michael and Morgan are your children, too, Carly. Is protecting your ex-husband more important to you than bringing your boys home safe?

Carly: You're right. Sonny could snap.

Faith: Ugh!

Sonny: Where are my children?

Faith: No place you will ever find them!

Sonny: I'm not going to ask you again! Where are my children?

Faith: If you kill me, they will all die lonely and alone!

Sonny: I will take my chances!

Alexis: No!

[Faith grunts]

Alexis: Sonny, if you kill her, we'll never get Kristina back!

Sonny: Get out of my way!

Ric: Uh -- Alexis! Are you ok? Sonny, what happened?

Jason: Just keep --

Candy: It's me! It's Candy!

Jason: Just keep quiet and you won't get hurt.

Sam: You followed us here?

Candy: I wanted to help you get those kids back.

Sam: Well, you were right. They were here, and now they're gone.

Jason: Do you have any idea where they could have been taken?

Sam: Anything you can think of would help.

Candy: I don't know anything else. I'm sorry.

Carly: Sonny blames himself for the kidnapping. He's reacting.

Reese: And he's going to put them in even more danger. For the sake of your kids, Sonny needs to be committed until this thing's over.

Carly: What? No.

Reese: I realize that you still care about your ex-husband, but I have a job to do and Sonny keeps getting in the way.

Carly: Yeah, well, I'm not helping you lock him up.

Reese: Sonny can't be objective here.

Carly: Ok. I will get through to him. I will calm him down.

Reese: You keep him on a short leash. Watch Sonny, and let me know if he plans anything reckless.

Carly: No, I'm not spying on him for you.

Reese: Not even for your own sons? Carly, this isn't personal here, ok? Helping me with Sonny may be the only way to get your kids back safe.

Carly: Fine. Fine, I will watch him.

Reese: Thank you.

Lorenzo: Agent Marshall?

Reese: Yeah, what is it?

Lorenzo: You wanted me to put together any information I have on Faith Rosco.

Carly: You're working with Reese?

Reese: Who is this man?

Lorenzo: A possible lead.

Michael: He's lying. He's not my dad.

Man: My son has a vivid imagination.

Madam: The boy seems pretty worked up.

Man: He gets that way. You really want these nice ladies to call the police?

Michael: Yes. Do it.

Man: Ok. So we'll go into town and waste a whole lot of time doing nothing, and meanwhile your brother and your little sister are at home alone. Something could happen to them.

Madam: Where's the boy's mama?

Man: She ran out on us, and my son blames me. You got to think about the little ones, Michael. You have a responsibility to this family.

Michael: Fine. I'll go back -- for them.

Man: Good. You have anything to say to these nice ladies?

Michael: Sorry to bother you guys.

Madam: Ain't no trouble, sweets. Now, you be a good boy for your daddy.

Man: Thanks. You ladies have a good evening.

Michael: You're going to be in so much trouble.

Man: Shut up. You're a long way from Daddy and his private army, so change your attitude, kid.

Emily: So you're the one who tried to break up with me before you went to prison.

Nikolas: And I was wrong.

Emily: You're in here for life, Nikolas, or at least until we find Helena.

Nikolas: That doesn't mean we have to stop loving each other, Emily.

Emily: We can't be together this way, Nikolas, not really.

Nikolas: You've never -- you've never given up on us before, and I don't believe for a second that you're going to do it now!

Emily: So much has happened.  A.J. has been murdered, Luckyís lying in a hospital bed, Kristina, Michael, and Morgan are all --

Nikolas: Exactly why we need each other now more than ever, Emily!

Emily: And what we get is 30 minutes in a prison room together, Nikolas! That's not a marriage!  We need to be realistic. It's over.

Nikolas: No! I am not going to lose you because of what happened with Connor.

Emily: Nothing happened with Connor.

Nikolas: You shot him in self-defense.

Emily: No, Nikolas. I killed him.

Nikolas: Because he was threatening you, Emily. You did nothing wrong.

Emily: I know that.

Nikolas: If you know that, then why are you punishing yourself for it? Because that's what this is really about. You think it's your fault that Connorís dead, so you think you don't deserve to be happy, you don't deserve to be married, you don't deserve to have love. I've been there! I know all that!

Emily: Just stop it!

Nikolas: No, no, I won't stop it! I'm not going to let you throw away this marriage as penance for killing a man who deserved to die; who wanted to die.

Emily: I'll have divorce papers drawn up and sent here for you to sign.

Nikolas: Ok, fine, fine. You go ahead and do that. But, first, you have to give me a reason that I believe. Have you stopped loving me?

Emily: No.

Nikolas: No? Then this doesn't make any sense to me!

Emily: Nikolas, you're in prison. It's been a nightmare for both of us, and I just -- I just want it to be over.

Nikolas: You are my wife. And I support you no matter what the circumstances are! I thought you would do the same for me!

Emily: So did I, Nikolas. But I'm weak, ok? I'm selfish. I hate this room. I hate the guards. I hate being in here with you. It's poisoning everything that we used to have, and I don't want to dread seeing you again.

Nikolas: I love you, more and more every day.  You survived my grandmother, and we can and will survive this but, Emily, you have to let me in here.

Emily: Are you trying to make me feel worse?

Nikolas: Well, no, no! Of course not!

Emily: Well, then why won't you believe what I'm-- there's too much pain, there's too much regret, there are too many mistakes that we can't take back, and I just want it all to stop.

Rachel: Do you like what Iíve done with the place?

Courtney: That's my sweater.

Rachel: I know. It looks better on me.

Courtney: Those are my boots.

Rachel: Yeah, you know, they're a little bit big, but I love the leather.

Courtney: You're wearing my shoes?

Rachel: It's like I always say -- friends share. Get used to it.

Alexis: I'm fine.

Ric: Listen, hey --

Alexis: We need to get to Sonny.

Ric: No. Are you sure you aren't hurt?

Alexis: If he kills Faith, we're never going to get Christina back. We can't risk this or the life of our child! It's not going to do anything to help Kristina!

Reese: Sonny!

Sonny: Faith's gone! She's headed upstairs!

Reese: All units, I need backup at every stairwell exit, fourth floor and higher. Faith Roscoís been spotted

Sam: Hey, we got your message. Did you remember anything else about the kids?

Candy: I'll let Bella explain.

Bella: A little man with hair the color of a pumpkin patch showed up a while ago.

Jason: Him?

Bella: That's him. A man came after him claiming to be his daddy. He said that Michael had run away; that he'd been doing it a lot lately.

Jason: What did Michael say?

Bella: He started to argue. Then the guy said something about Michaelís brother and sister being left alone. That's when the boy backed down and agreed to go.

Jason: Do you know where they went?

Bella: I have no idea.

Michael: I want to see my brother and sister.

Man: Yeah?

Second man: Where was he?

First man: At the whorehouse.

Second man: Were you able to keep this place warm?

Second man: I haven't felt a draft.

First man: Good. The, the right temperature. These high ceilings really mess with the thermostat. But it's good to see the new system is working.

Michael: You've been here before?

Man: That's none of your business kid, shut up.

Lorenzo: Where did you go?

Reese: Sonny spoke to me and convinced me to focus on other leads. Tell me about this guy.

Lorenzo: His name is William Peavy. He's a hired gun with a strange passion for church restoration.

Reese: Yeah, but it's also specific, which is good.

Carly: How did you find him?

Lorenzo: His name was in an address book that belonged to the insider.

Carly: The one who betrayed Sonny?

Lorenzo: Mm-hmm. Phone records indicate that the two men were in constant contact throughout the two weeks prior to the kidnapping. Most of the calls were sent out of state.

Reese: Louisiana.

Lorenzo: How did you know?

Reese: Michael left a clue in your apartment. He left a message written in crayon that he'd hid inside a secret compartment in one of his toys.

Carly: What did it say? What did it say?

Reese: Two names -- Louise and Anna. He obviously misunderstood the meaning, but it's still helpful to us.

Lorenzo: Hmm. That is one resourceful little boy. Where they moved things; I can help you move them back.

Courtney: You are like acid. You just slowly eat away at everything you touch.

Rachel: I killed for you. I'm just asking that you do the same thing for me.

Courtney: I was complaining about a bad day and you killed someone over it.  Look, Rachel, I am not killing anyone for you.

Rachel: Well, you don't have a choice.  Careful, Courtney. Now, you remember what I told you about Jax. It would be a shame to see him hurt.

Courtney: I want you out of here. I'm telling the police everything.

Rachel: Look, you don't understand.

Elizabeth: Steven, how are you?

Steven: Beat up.

Elizabeth: Well, I was going to say exhausted but, yeah, that works, too. Here, drink this.

Steven: It's this kidnapping case.

Elizabeth: I know, but you've been up for 36 hours straight. You need to take a break.

Steven: In a case like this, every second counts.

Elizabeth: Well, I sure hope Carly appreciates what you're doing for her.

Steven: This doesn't have anything to do with Carly. This is about these kids. Every one of them was in my care.

Elizabeth: That just goes to show your dedication to your patients, Steven.

Steven: I was lucky to be raised by a loving family. Whatever your issues with Mom and Dad were, they protected me from my biological mother. And Heather was dangerous. More like Rosco that I would ever care to admit. She would do whatever she wanted. She would even do that to a child.

Elizabeth: You don't have to take on the world by yourself.

Steven: Yes, I do.  Because this fact is important.

Elizabeth: All right. Then you better get back to work.

Steven: Ok. Thank you.

Elizabeth: Ok. So how's Nikolas?

Emily: I asked him for a divorce.

Nikolas: What -- what --

Emily: Don't -- don't touch me!

Guard: If you keep that up, you're going back to solitary.

Nikolas: I tripped.

Guard: All right. Come on, let's go.

Nikolas: I to call my wife.

Alexis: I know I was stupid to go after Sonny. I realize that. It worried me that we wouldn't be able to find her.

Ric: No, no, just -- please, just relax, all right? I know it's next to impossible, given the circumstances, but I want you to try.

Alexis: I want our baby. I wouldn't do anything intentionally to hurt --

Ric: Alexis, I know, I know.

Alexis: We were so close to her, then I just -- all logic went out the window.

Ric: Listen to me. The truth is I would have done the same thing.

Reese: Yep. Right, thanks. I've got agents working on finding William Peavy in Louisiana as we speak. We, there is every indication that he's working with Faith, probably used him to secure a safe house.

Sonny: Faith's gone. She was in this hospital. Your people couldn't catch her.

Reese: Well, fortunately, we have a lead as to where he's working with Faith.

Carly: Yeah, they may be in Louisiana. Michael left a note in a toy.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Jason, where are you?

Jason: Louisiana. Sam and I tracked the kids to Louisiana. They were moved before we could find them.

Sonny: Where in Louisiana?

Jason: It's a place called Lafayette Parish. I made a connection with someone Faith might be working with, ok?

Sonny: William Peavy? Blond hair, short hair, right, about 5'11"?

Jason: Yeah, yeah, that's him.  Michael left a clue saying where he was taken.

Carly: Does Jason know where the boys are?

Jason: Somebody saw Michael. He got away from the kidnapper somehow.

Sonny: Where's Michael now?

Jason: But he showed up to this house, he talked to this woman, he was telling her what happened, and Peavy showed up and made Michael change his story, the woman said that Michael looked good, that he wasn't hurt.

Sonny: All right, I'm on my way down, ok? I'll see you.

Carly: Sonny?

Elizabeth: Emily, you can't help this. This is the rape talking. You are so desperate to hide it that you are pushing away the one person you need the most. Tell Nikolas and let him help you through it.

Emily: Elizabeth, I am trying to help him.  Nikolas is in prison. We can't be together. It is ridiculous to keep hoping for a miracle.

Elizabeth: Ok, divorce is not and that is exactly the wrong thing to do.

Emily: You don't understand, Elizabeth. Things are different between us now.  We are talking about me, not you, so stop comparing the situation.

Elizabeth: I canít. I can't, ok, because we are both rape survivors, Emily. I know the pain you are going through and I am not trying to minimize it now, Nikolas is your last hope. Let him help you before it's too late.

Guard: The warden said no more calls.

Nikolas: I just need, now, I don't know if you were in the hall or not or if you even give a damn, but she ran out, and that's everything.

Guard: Except that now you're a convict.

Nikolas: Is that what you think? Or were you actually listening outside the door, because that's more or less what she said. She hates this place. And who can blame her? Probably not too crazy about me, either. I mean, this isn't how I looked; how I was when I married her. I'm sure you have seen it before, havenít you, David? A guy gets convicted. The girl says she'll love him through anything. Of course, she means it at the time. But then the guy stays locked up and eventually she just glides on out and leaves him, right? Yeah. The cowardly girl -- she just stops visiting altogether. Or the heartless one -- depending on which way comes back for one last visit just to say goodbye. Maybe. But I don't think so. Something else going on, I know it.

Rachel: I believed in Steven. I trusted him, and he betrayed me.

Courtney: Well, given the way you act, Iím not surprised.

Rachel: I told you I wasn't always like this. Steven was everything to me.

Rachel: I loved him so much that I would do anything for him, and I did.

Courtney: I don't understand.

Rachel: Steven and I were first-year residents when we got involved, and we made a serious mistake that cost a man his life.  I cleared his name, but a mistake like that -- it sticks with you for a long, long time. And if it got out what we had done, Stevenís career would have destroyed so I took sole responsibility, and the black mark went on my record and not his.  We could, I mean, all he had to do was stand up and take his half of the blame, but he didnít. In the end while he went on to having a brilliant career.

Courtney: You're a pediatrician.

Rachel: And he's a surgeon. That is what I wanted to be. So now he got to have his dream and I had to scramble for a position.

Courtney: How long were you together with Steven after all this?

Rachel: Two months. And then he broke up with me. And he went on to work at one of the leading hospitals, and I had to scrounge for a position at a county facility.  He broke up with me on my answering machine. The only reason I even know about his success is from the medical journals.

Courtney: Not to be joyful, but you can put it in the past now.

Rachel: No, not until he pays.

Courtney: All right, well, why don't you just tell the medical review board what he did?

Rachel: Well, because that's just not the type of payback that Iím looking for. I need Steven Webber dead, and you are going to help me.

Carly: You going after Faith is a bad idea.  She could panic. Why don't you just wait until she comes to you with her demands?

Lorenzo: She's right, Sonny, ok.  I know Faith.

Sonny: I do, too!

Lorenzo: Well, then you realize she's trying to make you suffer for as long as possible, to draw out the pain.  But she doesn't know we have this lead.

Sonny: I'm not going to waste any more time, ok? We all know where Faith is headed.

Reese: I'm going with you.

Sonny: If you have to come, let's go.

Steven: Courtney.

Courtney: Hey.

Steven: Hi.

Courtney: If you're looking for Carly, she's not here. Obviously, you're aware this is a bad time.

Steven: Yeah, I am. I've been working on the case. I'm sorry that we don't know more.

Courtney: Did you come all the way over here to tell me that?

Steven: No. Well, apparently, you have a new roommate, and Rachel and I know each other.

Courtney: Hmm.

Steven: Now, she never mentioned you, but then she tells me that you two grew up together.

Courtney: Yeah, it seems like you two have a lot of history, too. She doesn't talk much about it.

Steven: I made a big mistake with her. I'll admit that. But it's in the past, and I think we've put it behind us.

Dr. Meadows: Alexis needs to relax to carry the baby to term, but she just can't seem to control herself.

Ric: Alexis is not the most relaxed on a good day and you know the situation with Kristina.

Dr. Meadows: All the more reason that your wife should protect her health and the health of your unborn child.

Ric: Thanks, doctor.

Elizabeth: I have something for you.

Ric: I thought this was in forensics.

Elizabeth: Steven said they were done with it.  I thought you should be the one to give it to her.

Ric: Thank you.

Sam: Did you reach Sonny?

Jason:  Yeah.

Sam: I know that it's hard getting close to finding the kids and not having them back.

Jason: I just -- I just keep

Sam: Michael's a tough kid, and it's clear that he's staying strong for Morgan and Kristina.

Jason: Yeah, but I swore that I would always protect him.

Sam: Jason, I know you're attached, ok? You were Michaelís only family for the first year of his life.  You are closer to him than his parents are, but I think that you're going to be the one most hurt, ok?

Jason: I don't want him acting like me and Sonny.

Sam: Look, that means he won't give up, Jason.

Jason: Yeah, yeah, that means if he pushes too hard it might get him killed.

William: Is the account all worked out?

Faith: Haven't you learned yet? I always get my way. Make him shut the hell up or I will.

Michael: He just wants his bottle.

Faith: Fine. Then shove it in his mouth.

Emily: I know that I shouldn't be going on about my problems when you're fighting for your life. I don't know who else to turn to, Lucky. You've been my best friend since we were teenagers. I miss being a kid, the innocence of it. You know, life just keeps getting more complicated and darker. So, I thought that all of my dreams would come true. I really think Iím losing it this time. Lucky, I can't even talk to my husband or Elizabeth. Jason has to worry about Sonny's kids, and my parents are devastated over losing A.J.  I just -- I need something to go right, to bring back my faith, and to make me believe that there's good in the world again, Lucky. Oh, God!

Emily's voice: Hi. This is Emily. Please leave a message.

Nikolas: Hi. Hi, it's me. Uh --this is the last call Iím going to be able to make for a while. And -- and I used up all my visits, but I just wanted you to know that -- that I was thinking about you and -- and to take care of yourself and -- you just -- you do whatever it is you need to do, ok? And I want you to know that I --

[Voicemail beeps]

Nikolas: That I love you.

Ric: Alexis?

Alexis: I was dreaming a little while ago.

Ric: About Kristina?

Alexis: It wasn't a nightmare, either. It was a good dream.

Ric: Why don't you tell me?

Alexis: I was looking for her and found her.

Ric: What'd she say to you?

Alexis: She touched my cheek like she always does.

Alexis: And she said that she was ok. She said that Michael was taking care of her.

Ric: I'm sure he is.

Alexis:  It sounds crazy to you, doesn't it?

Ric: No, no, it doesn't. We just got to believe.

Carly: Do you believe what I said before? About waiting until Faith gives in?

Lorenzo: I do.

Carly: I'm usually not very patient, especially when it comes to my kids.

Lorenzo: But in this case you're doing the right thing. Cornering Faith, itís a bad idea.

Carly: How can you be sure?

Lorenzo: Carly, Faith works on instinct. Just like a wild animal, she has no discipline or boundaries.

Carly: You know I just keep thinking that she's going to mess up and then she's going to give us the upper hand.

Lorenzo: She will. Her plan is already starting to unravel. It won't be long before you have your sons back. I'm not one of Michael's favorite people. Remember when I first came to town, he tried to pay me off to leave? Well, I got to tell you, it was like I was dealing with a little adult, and the truth is he was pretty convincing, really, you cannot -- you cannot underestimate him now.

Sam: He was really scared when the kidnapper showed up at Carlyís, but he still left that clue. Right? And he already -- he already escaped once and almost got help, and I think -- I think probably that the only reason he went back for Morgan and Kristina is because he knows the three of them together are safer that way. And, Jason, it's that kind of thinking that's going to keep him safe until you can get to him yourself.

Jason: I hope so.

Sonny: Any word on the kids?

Jason: No. We got here; they were gone.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Whoa.

Reese: Do you recognize the number?

Sonny: Hold on. Yeah?

Michael: Dad?

Sonny: Michael? Can you see anything? Can you see any signs outside? Can you describe anything?

Faith: Little boys never learn. That was your last mistake.

Sonny: Michael?

[Dial tone]

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

John: You probably hope that those kids never turn up.

Lorenzo: What did you say?

Jason: Michael called.

Carly: Is he all right?

Reese: Sonny, what are you doing?
