Carly: I'd appreciate it.

Bobbie: You'd like that. That'd be good. What's wrong?

Carly: Three guesses. Excuse me. Lorenzo? How'd you know I was going to be here?

Alexis: You know that 2 1/2-year-olds can be quite a handful. You can't take your eyes off of them for a minute, right?

Sonny: Yeah, I'm aware of that. But you don't have anything to worry about because, see, I got Michael here to take care of -- you know, take care of her.

Alexis: And Leticia will be here, right?

Sonny: Well, Leticiaís at Carlyís with Morgan. He's got a cold. But Kristinaís got her dad and her big brother looking out for her. She'll be safe and happy. Don't worry about it.

 [Phone rings]

Sam: Hello?

Jason: Hey, it's me.

Sam: Hey. What's up?

Jason: Danny's school is trying to get in touch with you.

Sam: Is he ok?

Jason: Yeah, yeah, he's fine. They just -- you know, they just need your permission for him to go on a field trip to Lanai. I already said it was ok, but they need to speak to you directly.

Sam: Ok. Well, I'll give them a call.

Jason: Have you landed in Miami?

Sam: Yeah, I'm -- I'm dining on the terrace in front of the hotel right now.

Jason: How you feeling?

Sam: Better. You know, it really -- it does. It helps to be someplace warm.

Emily: Don't do it, Lucky. She's not going to kill me.

Helena: On the contrary, nothing would give me greater pleasure.

Emily: You know Nikolas is going to hate you if you do. No matter what you say to him, he's never going to forgive you.

Helena: Well, I'd offer you a wager on that, but you won't be around for me to collect. On the count of three, I'll kill her. One --

Lucky: Ok.

Helena: Drop it. Drop it! Kick it away. Well. You've made this easier than I expected. Now, hold still. No, hold still. I am going to try to shoot you both with one bullet.

Emily: Lucky! Lucky! Oh, God --

Helena: Oh, you foolish girl, there's no reason for tears. You won't have time to mourn your friend. You're going to die, too.

Sam: So, did the teacher mention the fee for Dannyís field trip?

Jason: That's taken care of.

Sam: Jason, thank you. I --

Jason: Have you had a chance to, you know, get in the ocean yet?

Sam: Not yet. No, I was planning on doing that sometime this afternoon.

Jason: Yeah, there's just something about the ocean that, you know, clears your head, gives you a better perspective.

Sam: I feel better already being here, you know? I -- on the plane ride down here I just kind of looked out the window and I let my mind wander a little bit.

Jason: What have you been thinking about?

Sam: You, mostly. Jason, Iím really sorry for the things Iíve said to you.

Jason: You were hurt.

Sam: And upset and angry. And I just wanted someone to lash out on and you're the person Iím closest to so, of course, I took it out on you and I realized that was really, really unfair of me to do that.

Jason: It's all right.

Sam: No, Jason, it's not all right.

Jason: Sam, you had a right to be angry.

Sam: No. See, there you go again.

Jason: No, I mean it. You've been hurt so much. I just -- I just wish there was something I could do.

Sam: Hey, maybe -- maybe when I get back, we could get together and talk or something?

Jason: Yeah, that sounds good.

Sam: So Iíll call you in, like, a day or two?

Jason: Ok.

Sam: Ok. Look, the waiter's coming and he's going to bring my food, so Iíll talk to you soon.

Jason: Ok.

Sam: Bye.

Woman: Ms. McCall? I'm afraid we've got a problem.

Alexis: When you watch both of them at the same time, it can get a little rough, so I don't want -- I don't want it to be an imposition for you.

Sonny: Not at all.

Alexis: You sure?

Sonny: Max is here, right? Jason. Guards.

Alexis: I was hoping maybe someone could watch her that wasn't hiding a weapon?

Michael: Hey, Kristina. I got this great new video game. Can I show you how to play it?

Alexis: You want to go?

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: See the video?

Sonny: You see?

Alexis: Ok. Come on.

Sonny: She and Michael are going to have the greatest time. Look at that. Look at that.

Alexis: Mommy will be in to say goodbye, honey. Is it violent?

Sonny: What?

Alexis: The video -- is it violent?

Sonny: Is it violent?

Alexis: Mm-hmm?

Sonny: It's rated EC.

Alexis: Oh. Ok. Ok. Will you do me a favor, please? Just let me get a babysitter in here. It'll just make me feel better, and it'll give you an extra hand if you need it.

Sonny: You know, why don't you, like, call an agency and hire a backup nanny? Anything to convince you that Kristinaís going to be safe with her dad.

Lorenzo: I had no idea you were going to be here. I'm meeting my son for lunch.

Carly: Lorenzo, this is how it happened last time -- accidental meetings, happening to just show up. I don't want to go there again. I mean, I'm actually pretty happy with --

Diego: Hey.

Lorenzo: You were saying?

Carly: I was wrong this time.

Lorenzo: Sorry to disappoint you.

Carly: Enjoy your lunch.

Lorenzo: It's good to see you, as always.

Bobbie: Well, obviously Lorenzo Alcazar is still interested in you. So how do you feel about him?

Alan: Ok, Mark, thank you for bringing that to my attention.

Mark: Great. Thank you.

Elizabeth: Dr. Quartermaine? I'm sorry I'm late. The traffic was just terrible, but --

Alan: Elizabeth, this is unacceptable.

Elizabeth: I know, and I apologize.

Alan: "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it. For the past few weeks you've either called in sick or come in late. Now, this may have worked in your previous career, but you have a responsibility to your patients, and they expect you to be there when you're on duty.

Elizabeth: I know, I know. It's just been a little crazy lately.

Alan: Crazy how?

Elizabeth: I've had some childcare problems.

Alan: Look, I don't mean to seem harsh, but you've got to get those problems solved. You have the potential to be a wonderful nurse, but it has to be a priority.

Steven: Pardon me. Problem's already solved, sir. Elizabeth and I have found an excellent new daycare situation for Baby Cameron. He's starting tomorrow.

Alan: Good. So I can expect to see you tomorrow --

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm.

Alan: On time?

Elizabeth: Oh, absolutely.

Alan: Oh, good. Have a good day, then.

Elizabeth: Thank you. You, too.

Steven: You, too, sir.

Elizabeth: Thanks for the save.

Steven: Yeah, anytime.

[Elizabeth sighs]

Steven: So do you want to tell me what's really going on?

Emily: Hang on, Lucky. Please, just keep breathing!

Helena: He's already dead, you brave fool, and you're going to join him.

Skye: Get away from them, you evil bitch.

Helena: You don't frighten me.

Skye: No?

Skye: Frightened now? I swear, drop that gun, or my next shot will be aimed at your ice chip of a heart.

Helena: Well, you don't have to be quite so theatrical.

Skye: Drop the gun! All right, start walking. We'll wait for the police outside.

Helena: It is a bit stifling in here, isn't it?

Emily: A man has been shot. It's Spoon Island. No, not -- not the main house. There's a crypt on the eastern side of the island. Yes, yes, a crypt! It's -- there's a little gray-stone building near -- near the cliffs. Please send a MedEvac! He's unconscious! He's bleeding heavily! Send the police. Helena Cassadineís alive and she's here on the island.

Sam: I thought we had an agreement.

Woman: This is a delicate operation. The whole thing could fall apart if the authorities get involved.

Sam: You said there wouldn't be a problem.

Woman: The risks are greater than I imagined. I'll need more than we agreed on.

Sam: All right, how much much more?

Woman: $100,000, cash.

Sam: Um -- how soon are you going to need the money?

Woman: In 24 hours. Are you in or out?

Sam: Ok. You'll have the cash by tomorrow.

Alexis: Hey. Have you guys seen Brook Lynn anywhere?

Georgie: Probably with Diego.

Alexis: And where would he be?

Dillon: You might want to try Lorenzo Alcazar.

Alexis: Oh --

Dillon: Yeah.

Alexis: He's not working for him, is he?

Georgie: No, he -- uh -- just found that's his father.

Dillon: Yeah. Long story.

Georgie: Yeah, he just found out a few weeks ago.

Alexis: And she's over there with the two of them?

Dillon: Mm-hmm.

Alexis: Why don't I just recruit a babysitter from the post office "wanted" list?

Ric: Hi.

Alexis: Hi.

Ric: I was glad to hear from you.

Alexis: Uh --

Ric: I got your message.

Alexis: Yeah, I just -- you know, I wanted to let you know that I --

Ric: Yes?

Alexis: Miss you. I miss you as a friend and a colleague.

Ric: And what?

Alexis: I miss having you in my life.

Ric: I feel the same way. Come on, what do you say we go sit down and talk about it over lunch?

Alexis: Oh, I canít. I -- I -- I can't. Something urgent came up.

Ric: Well, then why don't I stop by tonight. I could read Kristina a bedtime story.

Alexis: She's staying at Sonny's tonight.

Ric: Well, then you and I can have a nice, quiet dinner --

Alexis: Ok.

Ric: Just the two of us.

Alexis: Yeah, well --

Ric: No?

Alexis: I'm supposed to do some research at Gates Hall and -- I could do it quickly --

Ric: Ok.

Alexis: And, you know, maybe --

Ric: Is it a yes or a no?

Alexis: Both. I mean -- ok, with the understanding that if I need to, I can cancel.

Ric: Listen to me. I get that you're conflicted. I am, too.

Alexis: I'm just feeling a bit trepidatious.

Ric: I know the feeling.

Alexis: Well -- uh -- I got to go.

Ric: I'll see you tonight.

Sonny: You know, what does Alexis think that Kristina is doing over here? Smoking a Havana cigar, leaning back, making a poker bet?

Jason: You know Alexis has always been nervous.

Sonny: Yeah, but I tell you what -- if I had to go through this hassle every time I saw Michael and Morgan, I'd lose my mind. At least, you know -- at least Carly is willing to be reasonable.

Jason: Maybe not.

Bobbie: Michael seems to love Sonny's new house.

Carly: Oh, yeah, he does. He's crazy about it, especially that huge backyard.

Lorenzo: Are you planning to go back to school?

Diego: Yep.

Lorenzo: You've already missed several weeks. Do you think you can make them up?

Diego: Well, I'm not an idiot. I get mostly A's and B's.

Lorenzo: Forgive my ignorance. Are you going to be graduating this year?

Diego: What is this, a job interview?

Lorenzo: I'm just trying to learn something about you, Diego.

Diego: Yeah, to see if I'm worthy to be your son? Well, trust me, that's not a job Iím really interested in applying for.

Carly: You know, it's been really -- it's been terrific having Steven across the hall.

Bobbie: So you've been seeing a lot of him?

Carly: Yeah, you know, he's terrific. He's smart, he's funny, he's upbeat, he's great with kids, and he's surprisingly and refreshingly uncomplicated. Yeah, you know, I think I'm just -- I'm finally over that dark, dangerous, and irreversibly damaged type.

Bobbie: Then why can't you take your eyes off Lorenzo Alcazar?

Elizabeth: You know, Emilyís been having a really tough time with Nikolas in prison, you know, and Iíve just been trying to keep her company and boost her spirits, be there if she needs someone to talk to.

Steven: Well, you're a good friend, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Two, three -- well, yeah, she's done the same for me lots of times. So has Lucky. This has been so hard on him. You know, with his mother's illness and now this whole Nikolas and Emily thing, I just don't know how much more of this he can take.

Steven: Yeah, but that's why you're coming in late for work?

Elizabeth: Well, I've been spending a lot of time with the both of them.

Steven: Elizabeth, Iím sorry about your friends, but there's something going on with you. I'm worried about you. You're nervous; you're edgy. I'm worried. And if this is none of my business, you just tell me, and I'll stop.

Elizabeth: Ok, Steven, I -- I promise I will tell you everything, just not now. Ok?

Steven: Ok. Just tell me one thing. You keep mentioning Lucky -- now, is he in some kind of trouble, or is it just because you think that you and him might be more than friends?

Elizabeth: I think we could be at the start of something new.

Emily: Come on, Lucky! Come on, stay with me! Stay with me, Lucky!

[Helicopter approaches]

Skye: You hear that? Police are on their way.

Helena: At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that I rid the world of Luke Spencerís son.

Skye: Don't count on it.

Helena: I shot him at point-blank range. Lucky's dead.

Skye: The only thing you can be sure of is that you're going to spend your life in a prison cell while Nikolas goes free. Hey, Lucky Spencerís in there. He's unconscious. Don't even think about it!

Ofc. Murphy: Drop your weapon.

Skye: I can't! This is Helena Cassadine!

Ofc. Murphy: Drop your weapon now.

Skye: Did you hear me? I said we have Helena Cassadine!

Ofc. Murphy: Hands behind your head.

Mac: Who's been shot?

Skye: It's Lucky. Listen, tell your officer that --

Mac: What's his condition?

Paramedic: He's critical.

Skye: Mac, we have Helena Cassadine! We've got her, she's here, she's alive!

Mac: Where?

Skye: Right there!

Dillon: Hey, Skye, it's Dillon. Can you let me know what's going on with the whole catch-Helena-plan thing? Did Luke get her or did he not or -- just fill me in, ok? I'd like to know what's going on. You have my cell phone number. Thanks. I feel out of the loop, ok? I'm sorry.

Georgie: Ok. I know how you feel. I guess I should start getting used to it, though.

Dillon: Why?

Georgie: Dillon, you're going to film school in California.

Dillon: I know. I -- Iíll write, Iíll call, I'll email.

Georgie: I know. It just won't be the same as being with you.

Dillon: I know. It's true -- 3,000 miles is like the other side of the planet, it seems like.

Georgie: Yeah. It's just I'm so used to hanging out with you. I know we have to sneak around to do it, but it's times like this where my mom's out of town, my dad's working, we could just be. Makes it all worthwhile. I'm going to miss you.

Dillon: Maybe U.S.C. would let me differ admission for a year or --

Georgie: No. Dillon, film school is your dream. U.S.C. is the best in the country. You have to go.

Dillon: I know. It's -- it's just going to drive me nuts not being able to see you, you know?

Georgie: Ok, ok, how about this? We'll set aside an hour a night for an internet chat, ok?

Dillon: Ok, good. How about four or seven, maybe 26?

Georgie: Dillon?

Dillon: Yeah?

Georgie: Nothing could ever take the place of me being with you.

Dillon: I love you.

Georgie: I love you, too.

Dillon: Um -- just so you know --

[Georgie laughs]

Dillon: I will always be faithful to you over there. I promise, no matter what happens.

Georgie: You don't have to promise. I trust you completely.

Dillon: Something tells me we're going to get through this. I mean, with the amount of love that we have for each other, we've got so much more going for us than most couples.

Lorenzo: I just want to get to know you, Diego.

Diego: Why? So we can bond?

Lorenzo: I suppose you could put it that way.

Diego: Ok, and how do you figure we're going to make that work when we have nothing in common?

Lorenzo: You might be surprised.

Diego: Ok. I grew up in foster homes. You grew up at a cattle ranch.

Lorenzo: There's a lot more to both of us than where we spent our childhoods.

Diego: Ok, let's see -- you went to Oxford. I'm in a public high school. My so-called family is Maria, a woman you never gave a second thought. So what's that, 0-3?

Lorenzo: You're my son, Diego.

Diego: Only technically. Not in any way that counts.

Lorenzo: Why don't we start making it count?

Diego: How?

Lorenzo: Hmm. Look, I'm a wealthy man. My resources are at your disposal.

Diego: What, so you're buying me now?

Lorenzo: No. I want to give you the gift of opportunity. You must have dreams, aspirations, goals. Diego, I will do whatever I can to help you.

Carly: Why am I eternally attracted to dark and dangerous men like Sonny and Lorenzo? I mean, why can't I just fall in love with somebody who is upbeat and cheerful like -- like Steven Webber? Seriously, am I a glutton for punishment, or what?

Bobbie: Back up. Did you just announce in a roundabout way that you are in love with Lorenzo Alcazar?

Carly: I did not! No, I did not.

Bobbie: That was a very unconvincing no.

Carly: Look, I -- I'm drawn to him. I mean, I care about him.

Bobbie: Ok. I'll play devil's advocate. Why?

Carly: Oh, I don't know. I don't, really. It's like every time I think about something dreadful he's done, I think about something wonderful, as well. You know, something thoughtful, something kind. I have seen the worst in Lorenzo, but he's also shown me the best of himself.

Diego: Give your money to some charity, ok? Make a check to a kid with cancer or something, but leave me alone!

Bobbie: Don't let me stop you.

Jason: So Carly got Alcazar to go to Bridget and ask her to agree to the adoption.

Sonny: Of course he said yeah because any chance to play a hero --

Jason: Yeah, look, I'm just saying if Carly is already asking for help, it's probably just a matter of time before she's convinced herself that, you know, he's some honorable, decent man.

Sonny: Carly and I are divorced. She can do whatever she wants.

Michael: So the squirrels have to use these little tunnels to get the acorns.  I'm going to just go upstairs to get a better controller, ok?

Kristina: Ok.

Man: We may have some competition. Keeping a relationship alive...

Elizabeth: The incoming patient has a gunshot wound?

Steven: Yeah, and apparently his condition is critical. Ok, guys, Trauma Room One!

Elizabeth: What happened?

Steven: Ok, let's go. Liz, step back, Liz, step back. I'll do everything I can.

Paramedic: Doctor, we're losing him!

Alan: What in God's name is going on here?

Bobbie: You want to go over there and comfort him, don't you?

Carly: I'm staying right here.

Bobbie: That wasn't my question.

Carly: That's my answer.

Bobbie: Carly -- you've been watching him all through lunch. Now, Iím not going to sit here and spout out motherly advice, and you're going to do exactly what you want to do anyway. So, why don't you just go over there and talk to your friend?

Carly: Lorenzo is not my friend.

Bobbie: Then what is he?

Carly: I -- I don't know, and maybe I never will.

Bobbie: Spoken like a woman who is fighting temptation with everything she has.

Carly: Ok, ok, ok. True, true. A big part of me wants to go over there and just take his hand and tell him it's going to be ok and he needs to keep trying with Diego.

Bobbie: And the other part?

Carly: The other part knows it's a big neon sign saying, "Hey, I'm interested, come on after me."

Bobbie: Well, maybe that's exactly what you want to say.

Carly: Can't happen.

Bobbie: Why not?

Carly: Well, he's Sonny enemy for one thing.

Bobbie: Carly, I only know what I read in the papers. But judging by the lack of gang-related violence lately, maybe Lorenzo and Sonny have called a truce.

Carly: Yeah, and how long do you think that truce is going to last if I start seeing Lorenzo? Look, I don't need that kind of trouble with Sonny. No. No, ok? I'm not getting back together with Sonny. It's over, and I have accepted it, but he is the father of my children. He's going to be in my life.

Bobbie: And that's enough reason to stay away from a man you are obviously, deeply attracted to.

Carly: Look, my life is just way too complicated to get involved with Lorenzo. Period, end of sentence.

Jason: Look, I don't want to get you angry at Carly for no reason.

Sonny: I'm not angry, you know? I'm not angry.

Jason: This whole baby thing is just really complicated. You know, Courtney was trying to help; she made everything worse. She goes to Carly.  Carly decides she wants to fix everything for Courtney, for me. I don't know. I don't know, maybe Carly really was just using Alcazar.

Sonny: You know what? Thanks for telling me. It justifies everything for me.

Jason: Well, I'm just saying you know how Carly gets when she tries to help.

Sonny: Well, you know what? For whatever it's worth, I -- I just wish Alcazar's hero act had worked because you and Sam deserve that baby.

Jason: I think she's starting to deal with it. You know, I called her in Miami.

Sonny: Miami?

Jason: She said she needed some time away. Actually, I think it's helping. She sounds better already.

Man: Damn it. She's going to grab that kid before we do.

Sonny: Kristina? How you doing, sweetheart? What happened? Why did the alarm go off?

Jason: Someone must've crossed an exterior beam.

Sonny: You all right? Let me see.

Michael: The squirrels are in the tunnels and they need our help. Can I see that? Kristina.

Jason: Everything looks ok.

Sonny: What set the alarm off?

Jason: I don't know. I guess there's some kind of glitch in the security system. The alarm goes off for no apparent reason. Just when we think we got it debugged, it just -- you know, something goes wrong.

Sonny: That's unacceptable.

Jason: I called Stan. He's going to have it repaired this afternoon.

Sonny: I can't take chances. You rip it out, and we'll have a new one installed. A faulty security system is worse than none at all.

[Mike hums]

Brook Lynn: Hey.

Mike: Hey.

Brook Lynn: How are you? Look, is Diego back yet?

Mike: No, not yet.

Brook Lynn: Oh, ok. So he's still having lunch with his father, then, I'm guessing?

Mike: Well, I hope it's going well.

Brook Lynn: You and me both. I mean, the thing is Diegoís defenses are so high, right? I just don't think his dad can break through.

Mike: See you.

Alexis: Ah, Brook Lynn, there you are. I've been looking for you. Kristina's spending the night with her dad tonight, and Viola has got some family emergency, Leticia isn't available --

Brook Lynn: Do you need some help?

Alexis: I would really appreciate it. I'm not that comfortable leaving Sonny there with her alone without a babysitter, and you and your mom are --

Brook Lynn: Look, Alexis, I'll just head over there now, ok? Besides, Iím saving up for this digital camera, so --

Alexis: Then consider it my contribution. It's going to be a lot better for me knowing that there's someone in the house with Kristina that I trust.

Emily: Lucky's going to be all right.

Elizabeth: The paramedics say he's critical. What if Steven can't save him?

Emily: Elizabeth, don't think that way. Hey, Luckyís strong. He's going to make it.

Alan: Emily, you need to rest. You've obviously been through a terrible ordeal.

Emily: Thanks, Dad, but I want to -- I want to stay here with Elizabeth.

Alan: Can you tell me what happened?

Elizabeth: How is he?

Steven: We got him stabilized.

Emily: Oh, thank God.

Steven: He's awake and he's asking to see you, Emily.

Ric: There was no sign of Helena anywhere.

Skye: She's an old woman. She's wearing high heels, for God's sake.

Ric: Skye --

Skye: There's only so far she could've run.

Ric: Mac put out an A.P.B. There's a dozen cops searching the tunnels in Wyndemere.

Skye: Well, you tell him to keep looking, ok? Helena couldn't have gotten very far.

Alan: You found Helena?

Skye: Oh, yeah, we found her, all right. Unfortunately, she got away. At the moment, she is free to take out her psychotic rage on anyone who crosses in her path.

Dillon: Skye? Hey.

Skye: Hi.

Dillon: We got your message. Where's Helena?

Ric: She's mysteriously disappeared.

Skye: What's so mysterious about being allowed to escape?

Ric: Officer Murphy insists there was no sign of Helena.

Skye: She was out of his line of sight!

Ric: Unfortunately, that's a little difficult to prove.

Skye: Oh, really? Then who shot Lucky? Who locked Emily in the Cassadine Crypt, hmm? Helena's ghost?

Alan: Wait a second. Wait a second. Emily was locked in a crypt?

Dillon: Hey, how did Helena find Emily?

Skye: Ok, listen, Connor was still posing as Nikolas, and Luke had this great idea to put him in a safe house with Emily to act as bait to lure Helena out of hiding. Unfortunately, the plan went awry.

Alan: And what the hell were you thinking allowing Luke to cook up a plan that put Emilyís life in danger?

Skye: Hey, Lukeís plan worked. Or it would have if that cop hadn't allowed Helena to be let go.

Lucky: We got her, right? They nailed Helena?

Emily: She's in custody.

Lucky: Nikolas will go free?

Emily: Yes, thanks to you.

Alan: Lucky has no more sense than Luke. The Spencers are natural-born kamikazes.

Skye: They were trying to free Nikolas.

Alan: What, at the cost of Emilyís life? She could've died in the crypt.

Skye: Emily insisted on going along with the plan.

Alan: Well, of course she did. She would do anything for Nikolas.

Elizabeth: Ok, just stop it, ok? You should be on your knees thanking Lucky. Because that bullet was meant for your daughter.

Sam: You've got everything ready?

Woman: All I need is the money.

Sam: I told you Iím picking it up tonight.

Woman: I hope you know what you're doing.

Sam: No, all you have to do is keep up your end of the deal.

Woman: I'll be waiting for your call.

Jason: I guess you're not in Miami after all.

Elizabeth: Lucky risked his life to save Emily. The least you can do is say a prayer that he'll recover.

Alan: I'm terribly sorry that Lucky was --

Elizabeth: All us here, Dr. Quartermaine, love Lucky, including your daughter. Being scared for her doesn't justify attacking him.

Lucky: Be happy with Nikolas.

Elizabeth: Lucky would do it again if he had to, because Lucky will do anything for the people he loves.

Emily: Lucky's lost consciousness.

Steven: Excuse me.

Emily: I told him Helena had been caught and -- and Nikolas was going to be freed from prison. I thought that -- that it might give him strength.

Dillon: Well, I mean, that can still happen, right, Mr. Lansing? I mean, they're still looking for Helena right now?

Ric: Yes.

Skye: But she's disappeared without a trace.

Ric: Unfortunately.

Skye: Because no one really believes she's out there.

Ric: Look, Mac took this seriously, Skye. The police have searched everywhere.

Emily: So this was all for nothing?

Steven: I'm sorry. We did all we could.

Diego: Hey, Mike? Hey, have you seen Brook Lynn around?

Mike: Yeah, you just missed her. She came in looking for you, but she left a while ago.

Diego: Did she tell you where she was going?

Mike: Yeah, over to Sonny's to babysit.

Diego: Oh.

Carly: It's not easy, is it?

Lorenzo: I try to connect, but somehow whatever I say comes out wrong.

Carly: It's not what you're saying; it's how Diegoís taking it.

Lorenzo: Either way, it's like pulling teeth to get any sort of response from him.

Carly: Hmm. Not that it's any consolation but, you know, teenagers aren't really known for being great communicators.

Lorenzo: Well, at this point Iíd settle for a smile.

Carly: He did miss his entire childhood. He jumped over those cuddly years and into that major attitude zone.

Lorenzo: Any suggestions?

Carly: Keep trying.

Lorenzo: Yeah. Keep at it until Diego accepts me just to get me off his back. Is that what you're saying?

Carly: I'm so sorry, Lorenzo. I know this is hard for you.

Lorenzo: Why do you care?

Sam: I lied about going to Miami because that's what I do, Jason, I lie. What, does that surprise you?

Jason: No. You don't lie to me, Sam.

Sam: I needed some room, ok? You were everywhere I look.

Jason: I know what it is to be angry all the time.

Sam: Really? Do you know what it's like to be pregnant for nine months, to wake up and find your baby dead? And when I thought I had another chance, you ruined it. You couldn't even wait for the judge, could you? No. You forced me to give up the child that I started to love.

Jason: Do you think I did this to hurt you? I did this because we were going to lose the baby anyway, and the longer we fought, the longer you had with her, the worse it would've been for you to let her go, Sam.

Sam: You know, you are probably right, Jason, you almost always are. But it doesn't mean it feels right. Ok, I feel empty. I feel like I am freezing from the inside out.

Jason: Come on, just let me take you home.

Sam: No, Jason, we don't have a home together. It turns out we never did. Can you please just leave me alone?

Brook Lynn: Hey.

Sonny: Whew. Hi.

Brook Lynn: Hi. Listen, Alexis asked me to come over here and to help you watch Kristina. I hope that's ok.

Sonny: Yeah -- yeah, yeah. You and your mom are always welcome here. You know that.

Brook Lynn: Thanks. So where's Kristina?

Sonny: She's in the living room with Michael. They're playing around safe and sound, despite Alexis' worries.

Brook Lynn: She's not exactly worried, ok?

Man: Sonny's people are planning to rip out the "faulty" security system and start over from scratch. When they rip out the old system and the house has no protection, that's when we'll be able to make our move.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Emily: Is Lucky dead? None of this should've happened.

Elizabeth: None of this is your fault.

Carly: I can't seem to help myself.

Lorenzo: Because you still have feelings for me?

Carly: Yeah.

Brook Lynn: Is there a problem?

Sonny: Uh -- no.

Jason: What's up?

Sonny: Another problem with the security system.
