Emily: Hey. Hi.

Elizabeth: Hey. Hi.

Emily: Have you been waiting long?

Elizabeth: No, but is everything ok?

Lucky: Hey, I just got your message. Congrats.

Elizabeth: Wait. Congratulations for what?

Lucky: What -- you mean she hasn't told you the good news?

Emily: Lucky --

Elizabeth: No.

Lucky: I'm going to be an uncle.

Elizabeth: You're pregnant?

Lorenzo: Whoa, that looks like more than you can handle.

Carly: What? Oh -- yeah, thanks.

Lorenzo: Sure.

Carly: I -- Mike called, said that the customers were tired of tripping over all of Michael’s stuff.

Lorenzo: Why didn't you get one of the guards to help you?

Carly: I like being independent.

Lorenzo: Hmm. Even when it's more than you can carry.

Carly: Truthfully, I should have Michael carry all this stuff home, but he's on the island right now with Sonny.

Lorenzo: Well, that must be an adjustment -- to be left out of a family vacation.

Carly: I'm glad that Michael and Morgan can spend some time with their father. Maybe you could try something similar with your son.

Bridget: You're in a hurry.

Courtney: Well, I need to go over to social services to pick up some paperwork.

Bridget: Is it about me?

Courtney: Sort of. It's actually forms for the baby's adoption.

Bridget: And you're just going to make sure everything goes ok?

Courtney: Well, I want to make sure everything works out good for everybody.

Bridget: Why do you care so much? I mean, you run this whole foundation. What makes me and my baby so special?

Courtney: Jason asked me to help, and -- well, Jason and I -- we used to be married.

Jason: Good morning.

Sam: You know, it's better than good. This could possibly be the best day of my life.

Jason: Yeah, there we go.

Sam: Do you have to work today?

Jason: Well, there are some things I should do. Why?

Sam: Because Hope and I are going to go out.

Jason: Go out and do what?

Sam: Well, I'm going to take her shopping. I figured she needs a lot of things, so I'm going to start off with getting her a new snowsuit, because I think she's kind of growing out of the one that she has and I don't want her to be cold when we go for walks in the park.

Jason: Hmm.

Sam: And I also saw this commercial with those toys that kind of hang in the archways and it has the thing hanging down --

Jason: Yes.

Sam: And I was thinking, I don't know, after a nap she could play with it.

Jason: You know, you can get anything you want to get.

[Hope coos]

Jason: And I think she agrees.

Sam: It's amazing how much one tiny, little, teeny, tiny person needs. She's so tiny.

Jason: She's very little, a lot of work.

Sam: I know. But there's major fringe benefits, though, right?

Jason: Hmm.

Sam: I mean, having her with us last night, the three of us in bed -- that was nice. Does it seem weird to you?

Jason: No.

Sam: No?

Jason: No.

Sam: Good.

Jason: What?

Sam: Because I read in some books that a family bed is normal in some cultures.

Jason: Oh, so you want her with us every night?

Sam: No. No. No. I like the idea of thinking of us as a family, that's all.

Jason: Hmm.

Sam: I like you.

Jason: Oh -- ok, come on. Ready to go.

Carly: Try to be a little patient with Diego. You know, finding a parent isn't easy. Trust me, I've done it twice.

Lorenzo: Well, Diego thinks I'm acting out of guilt. He wants nothing to do with me.

Carly: He's a teenager.

Lorenzo: He told me to stay out of his life.

Carly: Come on, you have defied the law and a slew of dangerous business associates. You telling me that you can't handle one angry kid?

Lorenzo: It's not that simple.

Carly: Diego needs you. You're a good man, Lorenzo. Your heart's just been broken too many times.

Lorenzo: You should know.

Carly: Look, I'm talking about your only surviving relative. You lost your brother. You lost Sage. You're Diego’s father. He's never had a home. You can give that to him.

Lorenzo: I tried.

Carly: Try harder and try again. It's not like you to give up so easily.

Lorenzo: Is that your expert opinion?

Carly: I know you pretty well, Lorenzo.

Lorenzo: Oh, I agree. I guess the real question is, why do you care what happens to me?

Lois: Hello? French fries aren't even tempting you? I give up. Oh, I know. How about I drive you to Coney Island, we get some zeppoli?

Brook Lynn: Ma, I'm not hungry, ok?

Lois: You won't eat. You won't sing. I'm pretty sure you haven't been to school.

Brook Lynn: Look, I'm bummed out, all right?

Lois: Because Diego left town?

Brook Lynn: Look, I know that you think that what happened to Diego is, you know, just me having a crush on somebody and -- look, I know you're going to say something because he was able to leave without even thinking about me.

Lois: Baby, I am sure that Diego was thinking about you. But Diego has gone through a rough time, and you know what? There are other guys out there.

Brook Lynn: I don't want other guys, ma. I want Diego.

Lois: Have you tried calling him?

Brook Lynn: He didn't have a new number when he left.

Lois: Ok, well, your number is the same. I am sure that Diego will be calling you.

Brook Lynn: I know, but when?

Lois: Soon. In the meantime, why don't we go do some damage with my charge card?

Brook Lynn: No. I'd rather be alone, please.

Lucky: Here we go, two hot teas, for you and for me.

Elizabeth: It's decaf, right, because you know you're not supposed to be drinking caffeine now that you're expecting.

Emily: Right.

Elizabeth: Look, I know it's got to be hard not having Nikolas here and, you know, it's not easy being a single mom, but Lucky and I are going to be here help you. Right, Lucky?

Lucky: Yeah.

Elizabeth: Nikolas is going to be so excited!

Emily: You know, I just realized I'm supposed to be at the hospital. I'm so sorry, you guys. I will -- bye.

Elizabeth: I can't believe I just did that. I mean, Emily -- she looks like she's in hell, and I'm just going on and on about --

Lucky: Elizabeth --

Elizabeth: You know, I'm just so excited about it, you know? I mean, Nikolas and Emily have been forced apart, and this baby is going to be such a --

Lucky: Emily isn't pregnant. It's just part of the plan to lure Helena out of hiding. We just want everybody -- we're trying to make everybody believe that Emily is carrying Nikolas' baby.

Luke: Helena's determined to continue that Cassadine bloodline, but the last two generations have been a terrible disappointment to her. There was Stavros, the apple of her eye who, unfortunately, I had to kill. Twice. And then there was Stefan. What an annoying, whining, little poseur he was. And, of course, Nikolas who, according to Helena, has terrible taste in women.

Skye: Oh. So, this baby would be Helena’s last chance to get it right.

Luke: Yeah. The perfect heir to the house of pain.

Skye: Oh. But do you really think that the potential for a new Cassadine heir will lure Helena out of hiding?

Luke: Faster than you can call 911.

Skye: But, Luke, what if Helena waits to make her move until the baby is born? I mean, Emily’s not really pregnant, you know.

Luke: Helena will make a move the minute she hears there's rumaki in the oven.

Skye: Oh. Yes, I guess Lucky has been told to spread the word in public places.

Luke: Yeah. And I prefer the bolder approach.

Skye: Ooh. Do I dare ask?

Luke: Here's what you do -- rally the Quartermaines, get them all together, tell them Emily has something very important to tell them, and then we get Emily to spring the news.

Skye: Oh. Luke, come on, really, now. Do you want Emily to lie to her entire family about a fake pregnancy?

Emily: I'm sorry. You guys, I can't lie about having Nikolas' baby.

Sam: In about five minutes this jacket is going to be way too small for her.

Jason: Here you go. You got it?

Sam: Yeah, I got it.

Jason: That's why you're going shopping.

Sam: Are you sure you can't come and grab something to eat with us?

Jason: You be careful now. I got to get some work done.

Sam: Ok. Well, I'm going to pick you up some lunch, ok? And then we're going to go shopping and it's going to be great because of this beautiful day out and I'm going to get you so much clothes, right? I know, I'm laying it on too thick, aren't I?

Jason: You're happy. It's nice.

Sam: "Nice"?

Jason: It's really nice to see you this way.  I should go.

Sam: You remember this place, don't you? Yes, it's called Kelly’s and it's a diner and it's delicious.

Luke: How many times has Helena threatened to slash your throat?

Skye: Luke.

Luke: No. I heard that she said she would kill you at all costs.

Emily: That's right.

Luke: Emily, she means it. It's not a joke. This fake kid would --

Emily: I just don't feel right --

Luke: And I think that if you and Nikolas had a kid while he was in prison, it'd be the greatest thing that ever happened.

Elizabeth: It's ok. I know the truth.

Luke: What, did you sent out a press release?

Lucky: We can trust Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: I just want to help. And I'm really sorry about going on and on about babies at Kelly’s.

Emily: No. Listen, it was a natural reaction. Look, you guys, I just don't feel right lying about something that's so important.

Skye: Well, Luke thinks we should tell the Quartermaines as soon as possible.

Lucky: I agree. It's the fastest way to lure Helena out.

Emily: I just don't want my family, especially my parents, to invest in this lie, all right?

Lucky: Em, when Nikolas is out of prison, you can start a family for real.

Emily: What if I tell my parents the truth and ask them to play along? Come on.

Luke: You're taking too big of a chance with Tracy in the house. Alan and Monica could have a private conversation and blow the whole thing.

Skye: Oh, we can trust Alan.

Luke: The risk is too great, Skye. I'm telling you, one mistake and you're going to get your pretty little neck slashed from ear to ear.

Lucky: Dad, that's enough.

Skye: Must you be so graphic?

Luke: I am trying to be realistic here, people. The truth is ugly. Do you want this to work or not?

Dillon: Hey. Just looking for you.

Georgie: Yeah, we figured you'd be downing cappuccinos at Kelly’s.

Brook Lynn: Yeah. I wanted to be alone.

Georgie: Well, now you're not.

Dillon: We're actually going to go to, like, an '80s film festival tonight, if you want to come.

Georgie: Yes, popcorn movies, Molly --

Dillon: Ringwald.

Georgie: Ringwald, and Rob Lowe?

Dillon: Lowe.

Georgie: Yeah.

Dillon: And Tom Cruise dancing in his underwear.

Georgie: Right.

Dillon: Huh?

Georgie: Nothing black and white.

Brook Lynn: Well, it does seem better than standing and staring at the phone waiting for Diego to call.

Georgie: Hey, Lucas.

Lucas: Hey, guys. Brook.

Brook Lynn: Hey. What's up?

Lucas: You going to the movies with us?

Brook Lynn: Oh -- you asked Lucas to go?

Georgie: Why not? I figured we could all go together.

Brook Lynn: Right. What is this, huh? Like I'm just supposed to forget about Diego now and just run off with the next guy that comes walking around?

Lucas: Well, just because you decided to blow me off for a few weeks doesn't mean that I'm still available.

Brook Lynn: I didn't blow you off, Lucas. I'm sorry --

Lucas: Whatever.

Georgie: Oh, wait -- wait a minute! I figured we could just all hang out like we used to.

Lucas: Doesn't look like it. See you, Georgie.

Georgie: Lucas -- no, wait! Could you have been any less sensitive?

Brook Lynn: I'm sorry; I'm not the one trying to hook Lucas up all over town.

Georgie: No, no, no! Lucas -- you were into him for weeks, and then Diego came along, and all of a sudden Lucas doesn't exist!

Brook Lynn: Yes, and so what? What if Dillon was, like, 3,000 miles away? Would you just be able to replace Dillon --?

Georgie: This is nothing like --

Brook Lynn: With the next guy that came walking by?

Georgie: This is nothing like my relationship with Dillon!

Brook Lynn: How is that, Georgie?

Georgie: First of all, Diego is nothing like Dillon.

Brook Lynn: Oh. What's that supposed to mean, huh?

Jax: Hey, Bridget.

Bridget: Hey. Sorry about walking around half dressed last night. I didn't think anyone was in the room.

Jax: Oh, well, neither did I.

Bridget: Just so you know, I wasn't going to try anything.

Jax: Oh, the thought never crossed my mind.

Bridget: Ok.

Jax: And if you're worried about what Carly might say, don't be, because she's marginally sane on a good day, so you should just ignore her like I do.

Bridget: All right, thanks.

Jax: Yeah. Is Courtney around?

Bridget: Oh, yeah. She went to get the final adoption papers for my -- I mean, baby Hope.

Jax: Oh, ok. Well, I'll come back later, then. Oh, is there anything you need?

Bridget: Actually, I do.

Jax: Shoot.

Bridget: You and Sam were really cool the night that I had hope in the diner, and I'm trusting Sam to give my baby a better life than I had.

Jax: Yeah, well, Sam already loves your daughter very much.

Bridget: But I don't know anything about this guy Jason she's with. I mean, Courtney said that she used to be married to him?

Jax: Yeah, but they've been divorced for quite sometime.

Bridget: Yeah, that's what freaks me out. I mean, Courtney had to break up with him for a reason. Do you know Jason?

Jax: Oh, you know, we've crossed paths.

Bridget: Do you think that he would be a good father for my baby?

Courtney: Hi, Sam.

Sam: Hi. If you're looking for Jason, you just missed him.

Courtney: Oh, that's ok. I just thought you'd like to know that I am picking up the adoption paperwork today.

Sam: That's great. Do we need to come by your office to sign them?

Courtney: Well, I can just bring them by the penthouse.

Sam: Ok. Hope and I were going to go shopping today, but this is obviously way more important, so --

Courtney: Well, you can drop off the paperwork tomorrow, but if Jason’s going to be at the penthouse later, I could just leave them with him.

Sam: Ok, or you could just leave them with the guard. Vic will drop them under the door to save yourself the trip upstairs.

Courtney: Ok. Great. Look, there's no rush on getting them back to me.

Sam: No, no, we want to look at them right away. I want this to be official as soon as possible.

Courtney: You know, you and Hope look really happy together.

Sam: We are. Yes, we are. And Jason, too, right? You know, a few weeks ago, if someone were to tell me that I would be happy right now, I would have thought they were crazy. I missed my baby so much. I still do, you know? Hope can't ever replace her, but I know my daughter would want me to move on with my life. And Hope needs us so bad, so --

Courtney: Well, that's an optimistic way of looking at it.

Sam: That's how Hope got her name, you know. I was telling Jason that she made me believe good things could still happen. Right? Yes.

Courtney: Well, it sounds like you've turned a corner.

Sam: She changed my life. She made me realize that anything is possible, and then all of a sudden everything just changed. Right? I mean, you -- you've got to know what that's like, right? After the fire, you inherited all that money and you've been doing such great things with it ever since, and now you have Jax.

Courtney: Yeah, that's right.

Sam: So it's sort of like you turned a corner, too. Well, you do have everything you want.

Jax: Well, you know, I know a lot of people who genuinely respect Jason, most of them women and all of them very intelligent.

Bridget: But is he good with kids?

Jax: Yeah. From what I hear, he's very good. He's very consistent and loving, and he's very protective.

Bridget: You hate the guy. I can tell.

Jax: Well, we're not friends.

Bridget: Is it because he was married to Courtney?

Stan: Yeah, so we still have to install the sensors upstairs in the hallway and out back on the patio, and we could have all that done by the time Sonny gets back.

Jason: Ok, good. Turn on the system in the kids' room. I want to test it.

Stan: Got it.

Jason: Look who's trespassing.

Lorenzo: It was easy enough to get in. There's more than a dozen contractors out front.

Jason: What do you want?

Lorenzo: I have a business proposition for Sonny. Tell me how to reach him; we can set up a meeting.

Jason: Call the office.

Lorenzo: Well, I know he's out of town. When will he be returning to Port Charles?

Jason: You mean how long will you have to work on Carly?

Carly: Well, you look like you've been hit by a bus.

Courtney: I need you to tell me all the reasons I can't be with Jason.

Carly: What?

Courtney: Our marriage didn't work. We both tried really hard, but we're just too different. We realized that we're better off apart, and eventually -- eventually all the residual feelings will fade and we'll both move on.

Carly: Ok, slow down, slow down. What happened?

Courtney: Jason and Sam are sleeping together.

Jax: My difficulties with Jason started long before I got involved with Courtney.

Bridget: So there's some other reason you think he's slime?

Jax: No. He and I just have different ideologies, you know? We'll never be friends.

Bridget: So I shouldn't trust him with my baby?

Jax: No. I mean, just because, you know, we have differences and -- it doesn't -- look, I know that he would never purposely hurt a child. He'll love and protect Hope, and so will Sam.

Bridget: I just don't want my kid to grow up like I did.

Jax: Yeah. Sam will make sure that she always has everything she needs. And you've got Courtney watching your back, so you can turn your life around, too.

Bridget: Yeah. She's pretty awesome, huh?

Jax: I think so.

Bridget: I mean, she's super smart, she has her own business, and she doesn't seem selfish at all. I'm living in her house, and she barely even knows me.

Jax: Yeah, she's very generous.

Bridget: Guys must be fighting over her all the time.

Jax: Jason and I aren't fighting over Courtney. She chose to --

Bridget: No, I didn't mean --

Jax: You know, she chose to divorce Jason. Their marriage was over long before she and I got together.

Bridget: Yeah, but they still said vows and stuff. It's got to hurt to give up on something like that.

Jax: Yeah, I'm sure it does. But Courtney’s over Jason, and she's with me now.

Courtney: Jason and Sam were kissing like they were the only two people in the world. They had the baby between them.

Carly: Wait -- you know, sometimes a kiss is just a kiss.

Courtney: No. Uh-uh. This was the real thing. Oh, God, you know, I mean, they're living together, Carly. They're adopting this baby. And you and I both know when Jason commits to something he doesn't back out.

Carly: Are you sure?

Courtney: Yeah. I mean, I could tell by the way he was looking at her.

Carly: Honey, I'm so sorry. I am. But, you know, you couldn't -- you couldn't handle Jason’s life.

Courtney: God, I know. I mean, that's why I don't understand why I'm feeling like this. I mean, I ended the marriage.

Carly: But it wasn't because you didn't love Jason.

Courtney: I know, but I moved on first, Carly. Now I'm with Jax. Jason isn't betraying me.

Carly: Wait. Do you want to be with Jason again?

Courtney: Oh -- no. I just -- oh, God, it's just really hard to see him move on.

[Phone rings]

Carly: Hello. Ok, just -- just a second, ok? Just -- it's my dad. He says it's something really important.

Courtney: Oh, it's ok. No, I have to go, anyway.

Carly: No, no, I'm going to call him back.

Courtney: No, Carly, I'm fine. I'm fine. Seriously, I am. You told me exactly what I needed to hear.

Carly: Courtney, it's --

Courtney: It's ok. I'll call you later.

Carly: Yeah. What is going on? What information does Steven have against Lorenzo?

Lorenzo: My relationship with Carly is none of your business.

Jason: You and Carly don't have a relationship. Leave her alone.

Lorenzo: I am. Carly knows how I feel. If she wants to get back together, that will be her choice.

Luke: Elizabeth, you're a new mother. Fill Emily in on all the gruesome details on the bloating and the cravings and the backaches and the anxiety --

Emily: Yeah, all right, we get the picture, Luke.

Luke: And the sleepless --

Elizabeth: Come on, Em, we're late for the hospital.

Lucky: Could you be a little harder next time?

Luke: This is not a polite game, cowboy. Helena has threatened to murder Emily.

Skye: I think the image of Emily getting her throat cut went a little too far.

Luke: Well, I don't think it went far enough.

Lucky: My dad's never been compassionate or have any sympathy, and subtle has not been his specialty.

Luke: This is your friend we're trying to save.

Lucky: That look in your eye is not about protecting Emily. It's about getting even with Helena, because Dad's got to always have to be one step ahead. But sooner or later, there's not going to be any more Cassadines to chase. You're finally going to have to face yourself for real. I just hope you can face the good for once.

Luke: That piano only plays one tune. I'm terribly sick of it.

Skye: Lucky just happens to be worried about you, Luke.

Luke: Lucky is a cop through and through. I don't know what happened to the boy's imagination. He doesn't understand anything that doesn't fit within the parameters of his very tiny, little world of right and wrong. And he's decided that it's his job to police my life and my behavior and my motivations.

Skye: Well, he asked a very reasonable question. When this is over and done with, are you going to crash and burn?

Luke: I don't know. How the hell am I supposed to know that, Skye? And why are you people all determined to get updates on my potential behavior? I'll tell you one thing you can take to the bank, one thing for sure. When this is over, I'm going to get blind drunk, and maybe I won't wait until it's over.

Skye: You know what? I can't even deal with you when you're like this. But then again, maybe that's exactly what you want.

Brook Lynn: So, what, I'm sorry, Dillon is, like, the perfect boyfriend ever now and Diego’s, what, trash? Is that what you're saying?

Dillon: Hold on. Hold on a second.

Georgie: No, Dillon and I have a relationship. You barely knew Diego.

Brook Lynn: Oh, I knew him a lot better than you think.

Georgie: Really?

Dillon: We know that you like Diego.

Georgie: No, no, if you and Diego have this amazing connection, then why hasn't he called?

Brook Lynn: What do you care, Georgie? He just moved to a different country!

Georgie: Or maybe, maybe it was just as easy for Diego to dump you as it was for you to dump Lucas!

Dillon: Hey -- hey, stop it! Stop. Brook is having a really hard time with this whole thing, and you're not making it any easier, and Georgie is just trying to defend her cousin, whom you dissed. So, both of you, stop taking it out on each other.

Brook Lynn: I guess you're right. I mean, I did kind of blow Lucas off for a while.

Georgie: You can't help who you like, Brook, and I know how it is to wonder when someone's going to call and wonder what they're doing all the time.

Brook Lynn: I know, it's just Diego was so intense when he left, you know? It was like nothing could get in between his feelings.

Dillon: I know. Not that I'm defending Diego at all, but I'm telling you, in guy time, he's been away for, like, two seconds.

Georgie: And, Brook, he really liked you. He will call.

Luke: No.

Skye: Ok, then. Let's be a little speculative here. Let's say this plan does go off without a hitch and Helena is arrested.

Luke: I never promised that.

Skye: I know. I'm just being a little hypothetical here, ok? Let's say Helena is arrested and thrown in prison or she definitely, truly dies, Luke. What next? What comes next in your life? Does your life feel empty? Do you feel like there's nobody else left in the world to fight?

Luke: I'm a combative person, Blaze. I can always scare up an enemy or two.

Skye: You're not going to answer my question, are you?

Luke: What am I going to do if Helena finally dies? I don't even know that she can be killed, frankly. I mean, she may be an immortal for all I know, the devil's daughter. The Cassadines are the worst thing that ever happened in my life. And a lot of bad things have happened. My son and I used to be best friends instead of whatever the hell it is we are now. I think he is a judgmental, pompous ass. And he thinks I'm just an ass. Yeah. Yeah, the Cassadines have blighted my life in a way that, I mean, we don't have time to go into it all. I just -- especially Helena. So, yeah, I want her dead. I'm so sick of dragging this past of mine around. I just want to -- I want to get on with my life. And that's all because of you.

Jason: Courtney.

Courtney: Hey. I was just dropping off the paperwork for the adoption. I ran into Sam earlier, and I just -- I told her I'd slip it under the door, so --

Jason: Thanks.

Courtney: You know, you might have some questions about some of the legal stuff. I'd be happy to answer them, if you want.

Jason: Yeah, sure. Just come on inside.

Courtney: Most of the form is pretty standard, but there is one area that can be kind of tricky.

Jason: Yeah, what's that?

Courtney: Domestic relationships.

Jason: They want to know if Sam and I are married?

Courtney: Or cohabitating.

Jason: Is it going to be a problem, you know, adopting Hope if we aren't married?

Courtney: Well, social services will require you to declare your relationship in some legal way. I'm sure it's too soon for you and Sam to even discuss any of this.

Jason: Well, you know, obviously, we're not married, but if it will help our chances, you know, adopting Hope, we can be.

Courtney: Well, that's your decision, of course, but I don't really think it's a good idea to get married just to better your chances at custody.

Jason: It's more than that. Sam and I, we're together now.

Courtney: Wow. You really said it.

Jason: Are you ok?

Courtney: Yeah. It just hurts to hear it. I know it shouldn’t.

Jason: Sorry.

Courtney: Don't be.

Jason: You know, I never thought I'd -- I'd want this again after we separated. I thought I was done with relationships.

Courtney: Sam changed your mind.

Jason: Yeah, she did.

Courtney: Well, I'm really glad that you got what you wanted. You can drop the paperwork at the foundation tomorrow. Bye, Jason.

Elizabeth: It's obvious you're upset about -- about the pregnancy. Do you want to talk about it?

Emily: Yeah. You know, Luke said that we should be careful about talking in public.

Elizabeth: No one can hear us. I'm really worried about you.

Emily: The truth is that, you know, a baby would be a blessing, Elizabeth. I'd love to be pregnant. You know, and even if Nikolas and I can't raise the baby together, I'd have a piece of him with me every day until he's free, you know? But this plan of Luke’s, it's like I'm tempting fate in a bad way or something.

Elizabeth: Like you're jinxing yourself for when you really do want to get pregnant?

Emily: You know, stranger things have happened. I mean, our lives have been so crazy, Elizabeth, and Nikolas is in prison, and we're talking about a life that he and I would create, and that's sacred.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but if you go along with Luke’s plan now, then Nikolas will be free to have the family you want.

Skye: Wow. I mean, I never -- well, I mean, I'd like to think that I made your life better, but I never thought you actually agreed.

Luke: Well, then, my communication skills are even lamer than I thought.

Skye: Oh, don't misunderstand. You've been very clear about your feelings to me, and that has meant the world to me. And just so we're clear, I'm head over heels for you. But you have this -- this powerful history, you know? This great lost love. It's only natural for you to want to look back, to want to keep that alive, even if that means keeping up this fight with Helena.

Luke: No, no, Blaze. The past is the past. I mean, that's why they call it the past. It's over, it's done, good, bad, or indifferent. It's finished, and I know that. It's just that I keep losing sight of it. That night I broke into your house, everything changed. You're a complicated woman, Skye. I like that. Sometimes you're a pain in the butt, but you're smart and you're beautiful and you're funny and you're never boring. And from the minute we met, I was totally hooked. I don't know what's coming, I don't know what the future holds, but for the first time in so many years, I feel like I might have a future, a future that I'm actually looking forward to, because no matter what happens, if you're there, all the rest of this will be worth it.

Bridget: Courtney?

Courtney: Bridget. Hi.

Bridget: Are you ok?

Courtney: Yeah, it's -- it's just been kind of an emotional day.

Bridget: Because you had to go see your ex-husband?

Courtney: It's just Jason and I, you know, we almost had a baby once. But there was an accident and I lost it and --

Bridget: My God. That must be awful, and especially now that Jason and Sam are adopting my baby. Are you jealous?

Courtney: No. No. I want Jason to be happy, I do, and I guess I just want to be happy, too. It's just hard to move on, you know?

Bridget: Do you want to go back to Jason?

Courtney: No. Jason is with Sam now, and I've moved on, too.

Bridget: Are you sure?

Courtney: Hey, Jason and I weren't meant to be together.

Sam: Hey.

Jason: Hey. Wow, looks like you had a good morning.

Sam: Yes, we had a great time. We went shopping, and it was beautiful out. Are those adoption papers?

Jason: Yeah. Courtney left them.

Sam: You saw her?

Jason: Yeah. She was sliding the envelope under the door. I really think she wanted to talk.

Sam: About the papers?

Jason: About you and me, kind of wanting to know what was, you know, happening between us.

Sam: What'd you tell her?

Jason: I told her the truth.

Sam: I saw her down at Kelly’s, too, and it was a little awkward, but I told her the truth, as well. I said we were happy.

Jason: Yeah. I think she's hurt by it, but she said she was happy for me. I'm just glad she understands that you're the one I want to be with now.

Ofc. Murphy: Dr. Webber.

Steven: Yeah. What can I do for you, officer?

Ofc. Murphy: They have the case files you requested ready at the station.

Steven: What files?

Ofc. Murphy: The Mary Bishop case. John Durant called in, said you were doing some additional work and that the forensics pointed to a new suspect.

Carly: Lorenzo. I'm sorry. I'm glad you're here, though.

Lorenzo: Carly.

Carly: You've got some trouble. My father claims that Steven Webber has some information that proves that you killed Mary Bishop.

Lorenzo: When did he tell you this?

Carly: Just now. He thinks that Steven’s going to go to the police with the file and --

Luke: You're going to help us slay the dragon.

Monica: Is everything all right?

Emily: I just need to make an announcement.

[Knock on door]

Michael: Why are you here?

Sonny: Michael.

Jordan: You were expecting Carly.

Steven: John, I am done being your lackey.

Lois: My God. Did you kill Mary Bishop?
