Emily: This isn't working.

Connor: Will you just do this for me, please? All right. Now, look at him, all right? Look at him; really see him and the way he smiles -- all that. Are you there?

Emily: Yeah.

Connor: All right. All right, now, put yourself in the picture. Now, watch him come to you. Can you feel him close enough where you can touch him?

Emily: Yeah.

Connor: Then just let go.

Alexis: It's a good thing my daughter's such a sound sleeper.

Ric: Yeah, you were very loud.

Alexis: I was not.

Ric: It's ok. I like it.

Alexis: We can't do it here anymore. Next time, in the bedroom with the door closed, because I don't want her walking in on us.

Ric: Oh, ok, ok. I don't think we're going to have to worry about that with 10,000 square feet and six acres.

Alexis: Hmm. About this Greystone --

Ric: Mm-h

[Phone rings]

Alexis: I'll ask you in a minute.

Ric: Ok.

Alexis: Hello. Mm-hmm. That's very interesting. And thank you for calling.

Ric: What was that all about?

Alexis: Did you happen to mention this Greystone to Sonny?

Ric: Yeah. Why?

Alexis: He just bought it out from under you.

Jordan: Well, I had to significantly up the offer, but the house is officially yours. I've got the keys in my hand.

Sonny: Great. I'll arrange to have them picked up.

Michael: Hey, Dad, you all ready to go?

Sonny: Almost. Then you can be as excited about coming home as you are about going away.

Michael: What do you mean?

Sonny: Well, it's a surprise, but I can guarantee you one thing. You, your brother, and your little sister are going to love it.

Michael: Nice.

Brook Lynn: Diego?

Diego: Oh, hey. So, did you get the money?

Brook Lynn: Well -- not exactly.

Sam: Did she go to sleep?

Jason: Yeah, hopefully for a couple hours.

Sam: Well, it must have been the bedtime story, so what changed your mind?

Jason: I realized that you were right. Hope shouldn't be deprived of anything that we have to give her.

Sam: Good.

Jason: Yeah.

Sam: Do you think the music's going to wake her up?

Jason: Music? What are you talking-- how loud are you going to play it?

Sam: Loud enough for us to dance.

Jason: Dance?

Sam: Yes. Yes.

Jason: No, no, not again.

Sam: Yes again.

[Music plays]

Jason: Please.

Sam: Jason, I happen to like dancing with you.

Jason: Oh, man.

Sam: What?

[Creaking]

Connor: Who's there?

Emily: Oh, God.

Diego: I ask you to get me money for a bus ticket, and you bring him instead?

Lorenzo: I'm your father, Diego. Whether it's a bus ticket or an explanation as to what happened between me and your mother, I will be the one to provide it.

Jax: Wait, wait, wait!

[Courtney screams]

Courtney: No, no! Ow!

Jax: You win.

Courtney: Ow --

Jax: You win. We'll get pizza. Ok?

Courtney: Ok.

Jax: But next time, I'm going to cook you something absolutely spectacular.

Courtney: No, next time you need to consult me on your menu selections.

Jax: I could probably manage that.

Courtney: Then why don't just keep it simple, nothing too exotic.

Jax: Well, I can't promise that, because I like introducing you to new things too much.

Courtney: Hmm. Really?

Jax: See, this is what we need -- the two of us, a little time alone, no one else around, no disturbances. Yum.

Courtney: Thank you for reminding me.

Jax: You taste like --

[Knock on door]

Jax: A giant cookie. Don't answer that.

[Courtney laughs]

Courtney: I have to.

Jax: No, no, we're in Fiji.

Courtney: I have to.

Jax: We're not here.

Courtney: Look at me. Oh, my God. Just a sec!

[Jax laughs]

Courtney: Grace.

Grace: I'm afraid we have a problem.

Courtney: Is it Diego? Oh, my God. Bridget, what happened?

Grace: The school Bridget’s been attending is no longer a viable option for her.

Courtney: Or for any other child. God, who did this to you, Bridget?

Grace: Bridget attacked her English teacher. She's been treated for cuts and a broken nose.

 [Music plays]

Sam: Did you hear the baby?

Jason: No. No. You?

Sam: No. You're right. She's down for the count.

Jason: What's -- what's wrong?

Sam: Nothing. I'm fine.

Jason: No, you're not ready for this.

 [Knock on door]

Ric: You sure know how to throw a sucker punch, don't you?

Sonny: Something wrong?

Ric: Oh, capitalizing on the holidays, all those warm-and-fuzzy feelings -- you know, the empathy, the compassion, the brotherhood. Yeah, it threw me off my game. I forgot that we were enemies. Thanks for snapping me out of my daze.

Sonny: Can you get to the point?

Ric: You bought the house that Alexis and I planned to live in.

Sam: Jason, really, I'm all right. I just felt a little pull. I'm fine.

Jason: You're still recovering from an emergency C-section.

Sam: It was two months ago, and I'm fine. And if you kiss me, I will -- I'll be better than that.

Jason: Look, Sam, we're -- we're together. We can be together any time.

Sam: I don't want to wait, Jason.

Jason: Well, I don't either. But I will. You've been hurt too much in too many ways. I'm not going to let you be hurt again.

Courtney: Why on earth would you hit your teacher?

Bridget: She jumped on me with all these rules like she was a prison matron or something. That school's like a jail anyhow.

Grace: Bridget's school administrators are pressuring social services to notify the police. They want her charged with aggravated assault.

Bridget: No way I'm going back to juvie or some other stupid foster care.

Courtney: Bridget, this is --

Bridget: I'm old enough to have a baby, take care of myself, and live wherever I want.

Grace: Bridget -- Bridget, come on, Bridget --

Courtney: Wait -- Grace, look, I might have an idea.

Diego: A couple days ago, you didn't want to know me. And what, all of a sudden you're falling all over yourself to help me out?

Lorenzo: I have no idea how to be a father, Diego.

Diego: Yeah, you got that right.

Lorenzo: Look, I'm a difficult man, hard to get close to, and I suspect you may be the same.

Diego: Great. We have something in common. So let's just go our separate ways.

Lorenzo: Why don't we spend some time together instead? I'd like to get to know you. I want you to know me.

Diego: Ok. Ok, let's start with, did you love Maria?

Lorenzo: I was grieving over another woman.

Diego: I'll take that as a no. If you had known she was pregnant, what would you have done?

Lorenzo: I would have seen her through detox and rehab, and I would have bought her a home. I would have given her a large some of money. I would have sent monthly checks.

Diego: Ok, so you would have paid Maria off, made sure we were comfortable, but you would have just passed out on the father part, right?

Lorenzo: Honestly, I don't know.

Diego: Look, just no excuses. Yes or no?

Lorenzo: Look, I was 23 years old. I can't go back, nor would I want to. We have to start fresh here, and I'm willing to do whatever I can to --

Diego: No, no, no. Thanks, thanks, but, no, thanks, Dad. I don't want anything from you.

Lorenzo: Well, you let me know if you change your mind.

Carly: Hi. Could you page Dr. Steven Webber for me, please?

Nurse: He's with a patient. Do you have an appointment?

Carly: No. Just tell him Carly Corinthos stopped by. Actually, can I leave him a note?

Nurse: All right.

Carly: Thanks.

Alexis: We'll go have a checkup. Hi.

Carly: Hey, Alexis. Hi, Kristina. How you feeling?

Alexis: She's feeling pretty good. She's doing much better. We're here, by the way. So Sonny's taking Michael and Morgan on a vacation?

Carly: Yeah. They're leaving for the island on, and it's too bad Kristina can't go, because Michael’s very fond of her.

Alexis: I got to give you credit. You handle the blended family very well, Carly.

Carly: Thank you. I am not so sure you're having an easy time of it.

Alexis: No, I'm not, especially when he's just acting spiteful and petty.

Carly: Alexis, like you never acted spiteful or petty?

Alexis: Oh, I try not to do it without provocation. Do you know that Ric put an offer on a house and Sonny bought it right out from under him?

Carly: Well, for your information, Sonny bought the house that Michael picked out.

Sonny: I have three children. I need a lot of space.

Ric: Come on, you can check the real estate listings.

Sonny: Well, Alexis has been going on and on about security. I figured this was walled and gated.

Ric: It didn't matter at all to you that I had already put in a bid on the house, right?

Sonny: I've known about this since over the holidays.

Ric: Really, and which did you let go?

Sonny: No, I've been thinking about it.

Ric: Oh, come on!

Sonny: Your bid just was -- you know, was not the deciding factor. I just, you know, made the deal a lot sweeter.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Hello. How bad?

Connor: I searched the whole ship. There's nobody else here. I guess that noise you heard was just creaking deck plates or something.

Emily: Yeah, well, I'm glad about the interruption. Don’t ever kiss me like that again.

Connor: Emily, you're the one who wants me to be a convincing Nikolas. What do you want me to do?

Emily: Yeah, I asked you to act like him, to talk like him.

Connor: Exactly, and I'm supposed to do everything he does.

Emily: You know what? Save it, Connor. You're not doing this to get Nikolas out of prison. You're trying to get me into bed.

Courtney: Please don't call the police. I just left a message for my attorney on the off chance that she might be able to help with Bridget’s case.

Grace: Bridget gets physically violent. There's no telling what she could do next.

Courtney: Well, just give me a little time to track her down, ok? I'm sure I can get through to her.

Grace: Bridget's a very troubled girl.

Courtney: Bridget has just given birth, ok? Her hormones are raging. She might be suffering from postpartum depression. I mean -- look, I have an idea where she might have gone. If I could just look there maybe I can...

Grace: All right. I'll wait a day or so before calling the police.

Courtney: Thank you. Bye.

Jax: You know, Courtney, even if you do find Bridget, you might not be able to help her.

Courtney: Well, I have to try.

Alexis: I realize Michael’s advanced, but when did he start looking at the real estate listings?

Carly: He saw a piece of paper with a picture of the house under Sonny's Christmas tree and he thought he had bought it for him.

Alexis: It's what every 9-year-old boy should think.

Carly: It's the truth, Alexis.

Alexis: I just find it interesting that Sonny bought the house right when Ric was about to close on it.

Carly: Hmm --

Steven: Carly. What a pleasant surprise.

Alexis: Hi!

Carly: I just stopped by to say hi.

Steven: That's great. I have an extra half-hour after Kristina’s checkup, so if you have time, we can grab a bite to eat.

Carly: Oh, sure. Great.

Steven: Great. Hi, Kristina. How are you? How's she doing?

Alexis:  She's great. She's great. She's got her energy back.

Steven: Ok, great. Well, that should make the checkup pretty easy.  I'll be right back.

Alexis: Ok, here we go --

Steven: Hi, sweetie.

Alexis: With a doctor, you know.

Steven: Want to come with Dr. Steven Webber?

Alexis: Leave your coat right here, honey.

Steven: Be right back.

Carly: Anyway --

Alexis: Are you dating him?

Carly: Is it a problem for you?

Alexis: It's just so unsettling that somehow you and Sonny are somehow connected to every aspect of Ric's life

Carly: Ok, well, who I date and what house Sonny buys, it actually has absolutely nothing to do with everything to do with pleasing ourselves, so --

Alexis: Hey. Nice of you to come, she's already had her checkup. Everything's ok.

Sonny: Oh, I'm here to see my lawyer. She was attacked on Elm Street Pier.

Alexis: More proof that anyone who gets close to you is a target for violence.

Diego: I don't need my father or Maria. I can make it on my own, Brook.

Brook: Did it ever occur to you that maybe they need you?

Diego: Right. Yeah.

Brook Lynn: I'm serious. Look, Alcazar -- he was being honest with you, Diego. He wasn't trying to sugarcoat his story or make himself look like a hero. He was --

Diego: He could see there was no point.

Brook Lynn: No, he was trying to connect with you. He's trying to respect you.

Diego: He thinks I'm a total loser.

Brook Lynn: No. He's trying to help you.

Diego: Well, he's doing it out of pity and guilt, Brook?

Brook: Look, you are his son, ok? It's that whole "Blood is thicker than water" thing. And Maria -- my God, she loves you and she's made bad decisions, but they were for you, Diego. She did that for you. So she got deported, but it was only because she was looking after you, all right? And did you ever think that maybe she was only marrying Eduardo held send you money?

Diego: She was living a lie.

Brook Lynn: You have lied, Diego. You've beat up people. You've broken the law. So why are you better than her?

Connor: You said, you did, that we needed to act more natural.

Emily: Yeah, and "natural" for Nikolas is all the things I showed you -- champagne, how to use a salad fork.

Connor: And? And? How to act like we're really in love.

Emily: That kiss wasn't just for practice, Connor. It was like the night at Wyndemere when you grabbed me and you kissed me and then the next minute you were taking Nikolas' money, threatening to turn him in.

Connor: Emily, if I'm such a lowlife, then why did you look me up in the first place?

Emily: I was desperate, Connor. Desperation makes people do crazy things. But you aren't anything like Nikolas. He's decent, he's principled -- everything you aren't.

Connor: He's also in prison.

Lorenzo: I've opened a bank account in your name.

Maria: No, I don't need your money.

Lorenzo: You're the mother of my child. I'd like to provide for you.

Maria: Give the money to our son.

Lorenzo: Diego wants nothing to do with me.

Maria: You saw him? Where?

Lorenzo: He called Brook Lynn and asked her to buy him a bus ticket. She called me instead.

Maria: Did Diego say where he was going?

Lorenzo: No.

Maria: Ok, maybe he's at the bus station right now.

Lorenzo: I took your advice.

Jason: Two months ago, you almost died having an emergency C-section.

Sam: Healed.

Jason: Well, not completely or you wouldn't have felt something when I picked you up.

Sam: Look, I swear to you it just -- it was a little soreness. That's all. I -- doesn't mean that I don't want to be with you.

Jason: Are you sure? Ah.

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Jason? Sam? It's Courtney.  It’s important. Hey. Look, Bridget ran away.

Alexis: How many bodyguards have you gone through?

Sonny: You cannot let this go, can you?

Alexis: Well, now I'm just plain darn curious. How many? How many drivers, managerial staff, people like Benny Abrams?

Carly: Hey, Benny died of a heart attack.

Ric: If I remember correctly, I think Benny had that heart attack when he was sent as proxy for Sonny at a meeting with the five families.

Alexis: Do you now understand why I get so worried about Kristina being alone with you? Because nobody's safe with you, not even your custody attorney.

Jordan: Are you referring to me?

Sonny: Hey. You all right?

Jordan: Yeah. I was mugged on the pier. I'm sure it could be worse.

Alexis: My point exactly.

Jordan: How is Sonny to blame for some random thug knocking me out and taking my wallet?

Alexis: Nothing is ever that simple when it comes to him.

Lorenzo: Diego asked me what I would have done if I'd known you were carrying my child. I told him first, I would have seen you through detox and rehab, but you had the strength to do that on your own.

Maria: I hit rock bottom. I had no other choice.

Lorenzo: You could have stayed there. Instead, you pulled yourself up and took care of Diego.

Maria: I made so many mistakes.

Lorenzo: We all have. I told him I would have bought a home for my child and his mother. He pointed out that it's not too late.

Maria: No. Thank you, Lorenzo, but I won't accept your money. I can provide for Diego on my own.

Lorenzo: Here in Port Charles?

Maria: I'd like to return to Mexico. Diego? I know I don't have a right to ask after all the lies I've told, but will you come with me?

Diego: Yeah, I will.

Maria: I'm going to back to school to finish my degree as a speech therapist, and you deserve a mother to be proud of.

Lorenzo: He has one now.

Maria: I'm sorry things worked out the way they did.

Lorenzo: I am, too. Could I ask just one favor?

Maria: What is it?

Lorenzo: That you stay in touch, let me know how you and Diego are doing.

Maria: Of course.

Lorenzo: Thank you. I -- I'm glad we finally met. It means a great deal to me to know that I have a son.

Diego: Goodbye.

Lorenzo: Goodbye.

Maria: I'll be in touch. Thank you for giving me another chance.

Diego: It's all right, Maria. I don't think I could call you "Mom" yet.

Maria: No, Maria’s fine. I'm still the same person I always was, and all I've ever wanted is to give you a home where we could be together. God, I love you so much. I've never loved anyone as much as I love you.

Diego: I love you, too.

Maria: Ok. Let's start over, Diego, away from this place. We could leave today, right now. What do you say?

Diego: All right, but there's something I got to do first.

Courtney: Look, Bridget’s school won't take her back. Even Grace Powell, the social worker, is at her wits' end.

Sam: And Bridget has no one to turn to.

Courtney: Well, she doesn't have any family except for her child.

Sam: Right, she's on the run, she's in trouble. She has to know that there's no way she could provide a home for Hope.

Courtney: Maybe, but that child is the best thing in her life right now, so she may show up at your doorstep to try to connect with her.

Sam: All right, do you think that she's going to try and take her back? I mean, she can't, can she, being a fugitive herself and all?

Courtney: Look, I don't know the legalities. I just thought I should warn you.

Jason: Ok, what do you want us to do if Bridget shows up here?

Courtney: Get her talking, keep her here as long as you can, and then just call me privately. I'll come over and I'll try to get through to her.

Jason: Ok.

Courtney: Ok, thanks. Look, I just hope we can help her.

Jason: Sam, I'm sorry.

Sam: No. Me, too. Me, too. I really thought that Bridget could turn her life around. Jason, she loves Hope. She wants what's best for her. I can't imagine her wanting to take her back.

Jordan: I was the victim of a random street crime, not a mob-related attack.

Alexis: Were you the victim of a random crime before working for him?

Jordan: This is irrelevant.

Ric: Oh, on the contrary, it is highly relevant.

Carly: Jordan, you need to realize that Alexis thinks that every crime on the eastern seaboard is caused by Sonny from stock market fraud to stolen candy, but I'm sure you realized that working on the custody hearing.

Jordan: Yes, I'm aware of Ms. Davis' propensity towards paranoia.

Ric: She's stating a fact, Ms. Baines. People that are close to Sonny become victims of violent crime. You want to check his history.

Jordan: I don't have to. A mugger hit me from behind, rifled through my pocketbook, and took my wallet and my watch. He left Sonny's keys to his new house, so that in itself proves that the crime wasn't related.

Alexis: Well, you sound just like I did when I worked for him -- in a constant state of denial.

Sonny: We get the picture. Are you done now?

Alexis: Yes, I am.

Sonny: Good.

Alexis: When I worked for him, it almost got me killed. I hope you don't have the same experience.

Jordan: I'm glad you're here. I was just going to call Sonny. I went to the courthouse and filed your divorce papers. I have a copy for both of you.

Carly: Thanks. Thanks.

Sonny: Sure you -- you all right?

Jordan: I'm fine.

Sonny: Hmm. Fine enough to show me the new house?

Jordan: Yeah, there's no time like the present.

Sonny: Ok. All right, I'll go ahead and talk to you later, all right?

Carly: Ok.

Sonny: All right.

Carly: Bye.

Jordan: Bye.

Carly: Excuse me. Could you just do me a favor and tell Dr. Webber that I will meet him in the lounge?

Jordan: Oh --

Sonny: Yep.

Jordan: Almost forgot.

Sonny: Oh --

Jordan: Keys to your new house.

Sonny: Tell me something. Is it as beautiful as it looks in the picture?

Jordan: It's better. I mean, the house is gorgeous, and the grounds are walled and gated. So you and your family and your bodyguards should be quite comfortable there.

Brook Lynn: Hey.

Diego: Hi. I thought about what you said, you know, about being harsh on my parents. So I went to see Maria.

Brook Lynn: That's great.

Diego: Yeah.

Brook Lynn: How'd it go?

Diego: Well, you were right, as always, and it turns out she does love me and she's been trying to do her best.

Brook Lynn: Good.

Diego: Yeah.

Brook Lynn: Did you get to see your father?

Diego: Yeah. He was there. He offered Maria some money for a house, but she wouldn't take it.

Brook Lynn: See? He does respect you.

Diego: Yeah.

Brook Lynn: He's taking your advice now, so --

Diego: Yeah, but I think he would have done it anyhow. You know, it was guilt money for getting her pregnant or not knowing --

Brook Lynn: Yeah, but still, you know.

Diego: Or caring enough to find her, so --

Brook Lynn: Well, he's a better man than either of us give him credit for.

Diego: Yeah, I guess.

Brook Lynn: Yeah. Ahem. So what happens now?

Diego: Maria -- she asked me to live with her.

Brook Lynn: Ok.

Diego: And I said yes. She wants to leave for Mexico right away.

Brook Lynn: Mexico. Wow, that's -- that's like a whole other world away.

Diego: It's not that far.

Brook Lynn: Right. It's just too far to visit. You know, I always knew that you wanted to leave Port Charles, but I just -- I kind of thought that your father would change your mind.

Diego: Are you saying you'll miss me?

Brook Lynn: Big-time.

Diego: This is not a goodbye. I'm going to come back for you someday, I promise. I promise.

Emily: Connor!

Connor: If you're here to tear into me again, I'll pass.

Emily: Listen, I'm sorry, ok? You were right about everything. I dragged you all the way back here to Port Charles and I involved you in this whole scheme to smoke out Helena, and you did everything I said I wanted. I asked you to be just like Nikolas. You did that, including kissing me. And I was wrong to accuse you of ulterior motives.

Connor: Apology accepted. What made you change your mind?

Emily: I realized that I was angry because I feel guilty.

Connor: Why?

Emily: When you kissed me, it felt like I was being unfaithful to Nikolas.

Sonny: I tell you what -- Michael’s going to love that pool. And how about that tree house? Wow!

Jordan: Wait till you see the interior.

Sonny: You know what? I don't have to see anything because I just -- it's perfect.

Jordan: Well, the grounds are beautiful, but I don't exactly think of you as an outdoor kind of guy.

Sonny: Well, I grew up in Bensonhurst, you know, first, in apartments and then a cramped little row house. You know, I don't know why it took me so long to realize that money -- it can buy you space and room to breathe. You know, when I first -- when I first came to Port Charles, I lived in this little ratty apartment above this nightclub that I used to own. I think I stayed there a little too long. When I finally moved out, I moved into the biggest penthouse with the best view of the city. But my kids, you know, they need more than that, they need more than an atrium and a city park to play in. They need a place where they can run, you know, without guards watching them every minute. This has got to be it, you know? This is the home they deserve.

Courtney: I thought Bridget would go over to Jason and Sam’s house. I guess I was wrong.

Jax: Why don't you call Grace Powell and just let the system handle it?

Courtney: Look, I don't want Bridget going to juvenile hall. I'm going to call Grace and tell her that she can live with me.

Jax: Courtney, that is above and beyond the call. You don't have to become a one-woman rescue organization.

Courtney: Look, if I can get through to her, Jax, maybe I can help her and she can trust me.

Jax: Are you listening to yourself?

Courtney: What?

Jax: I mean, at first, it was Diego, and now Bridget? And how many more? Why not just turn this place into a group home for troubled teens? That way, you know, you could counsel them, and you could mediate with social workers and, you know, navigate your way through the juvenile justice system. Won't that be fun? And if you work really hard at it, you might just be able to rule out the possibility of leading any kind of life of your own.

Connor: Pretending to be your husband ain't easy for me either, you know?

Emily: I know.

Connor: But you were right about me. I wasn't just acting. When I kissed you and you closed your eyes and you were pretending that I was Nikolas, I kind of felt like, you know, like you were kissing me. I got a little carried away, I guess.

Emily: If this is too difficult for you, then --

Connor: No, no, it's all right. It's all right. I'll just stay focused on freeing Nikolas and do what you ask.

Emily: Yeah, thanks. So, shall we try again?

Connor: All right.

Emily: Ok. When Nikolas talks to me, he usually touches me. Maybe he puts his hand on my shoulder --

Alexis: Hello!

Emily: It's Alexis.

Alexis: Hey, I've got some good news. I just heard from Pentonville, and they've granted you a conjugal visit.

Lorenzo: Carly.

Carly: Hey. Lorenzo.

Lorenzo: Hey. Interesting reading?

Carly: It's my final divorce settlement. Oh --

Lorenzo: Ooh --

Sonny: All right, go ahead. Max is waiting in the car.

Michael: But aren't you coming?

Sonny: Yeah, I'll be there in a minute.

Michael: Ok.

Sonny: Hey, can I ask you a favor?

Jordan: Actually, I have something to ask you first.

Sonny: Yeah?

Jordan: Why didn't you tell Michael about his dream house?

Sonny: Well, because it's one treat at a time, see?

Jordan: Right.

Sonny: I'm taking him to the island, right? He's going to be happy for several days. And then, well, on the way back from the airport, I'm going to drop them off to see the new house.

Jordan: Oh.

Sonny: Right.

Jordan: Well, you're going to need to furnish it.

Sonny: Yeah, that's where the favor comes in. Look, if I pay you an hourly rate, right --

Jordan: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: Plus travel time --

Jordan: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: Could you oversee the furniture and the decorating of the house while I'm out of town?

Jordan: You mean have vicarious fun living in, like, an exquisite mansion surrounded by majestic grounds, furnishing it with expensive furniture, and getting my full hourly wage?

Sonny: Yeah. Would you like that?

Jordan: Yeah, that would be good.

Sonny: All right, good. All right, then that's great.

Jordan: Keys.

Sonny: Oh, the keys, yes. Here you go.

Jordan: Thank you.

Sonny: Enjoy.

Jason: Sam, obviously, it's best for Hope to stay here with us, and I want her to, but we need to be realistic.

Sam: Right, Jason, and realistically talking, Bridget just beat up a teacher. She knows she's in trouble. The police are after her. I think she's got to be feeling relieved that Hope is safe and secure with us.

Jason: I hope you're right.

Sam: Yeah, she's probably on a bus headed out of town right now to some place warm -- Florida, Texas.

[Phone rings]

Jason: Hello. Ok. No, I'll be right there. All right. I got to go over to the house Sonny bought and just take a look around.

Sam: Ok. We'll be fine.

Jason: Are you sure you're going to be fine?

Sam: Yeah. You know, I'm going to -- I'm going to make some dinner and I'm going to light some candles, and I'll have some champagne and music, your favorite.

Jason: Ok.

[Knock on door]

Bridget: I've come for my baby.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Emily: When?

Alexis: Today, so we have to go.

Emily: Let's go.

Connor: No, you can’t.

Sam: What do you mean?
