Jordan: Oh, good, you're still here.

Sonny: Oh, great. You changed your mind about coming to the island? I got your ticket right here.

Jordan: Thanks, no. I haven't changed my mind on that position.

Sonny: Oh. Oh. Let me guess. Alexis came up with another way to stop me from taking Kristina on vacation.

Jordan: No.

Sonny: No? Oh.

Jordan: As of this morning, everything's still a go. I'm here about something else. Do you remember that Greystone, that fabulous house that we talked about on Christmas?

Sonny: Yeah. What about it?

Jordan: Well, on the off chance that you're interested in it, someone put in a serious bid, and you're going to have to act fast.

Ric: Alexis? Oh, good.

Alexis: Hey.

Ric: Brace yourself. I've got the most amazing surprise for you.

Alexis: You talked Sonny out of taking Kristina to the island?

Ric: No, no, no, no. Take a look at this.

Alexis: Ok. What's this?

Ric: It's called Greystone.

Alexis: And why am I looking at it?

Ric: Because I just put an offer in on it.

Lois: Hey.

Lorenzo: Hey.

Lois: Have you spoken to Diego?

Lorenzo: No.

Lois: Have you tried?

Lorenzo: No.

Lois: What is up with that, Lorenzo? He is your child. The least you could do is face him.

Lorenzo: I honestly don't know what I would say.

Lois: It doesn't matter. The words will be there when you need them. Trust me.

Lorenzo: Lois, I really appreciate your concern.

Lois: Brook Lynn, before you start, this isn't what it looks like.

Brook Lynn: Um -- ahem. Look, I'm not here to fight with you, ma. And you either, ok? We all need to be on the same page now, for Diego’s sake.

Courtney: What are you doing?

Diego: Well, you'll be happy to hear that I'm out of this house and out of this town.

Courtney: That is not even remotely what I want.

Diego: Well, get used to it, because it's going to happen.

Courtney: Diego, would you listen to me?

Diego: What?

Courtney: Look, hating Alcazar, not wanting anything to do with him, that's one thing, but there are other people in your life. There are reasons to stay in Port Charles.

Diego: Oh, yeah? Like what?

Courtney: Like the people who care about you -- Brook Lynn, me.

Diego: Why should I believe you? I trusted you, Courtney, and you lied to me. I'm never going to forgive you for that.

Jason: What's all that?

Sam: All of this? It's travel guides, so you can read them to hope like bedtime stories, you know, the way you did with Michael.

Jason: I can’t.

Ric: This place has everything. Look, it's got multiple gardens, it's got a lap pool, not to mention a fabulous playroom for Kristina, and to top it off, it has a tree house, as well.

Alexis: Ooh, it's got a tree house.

Ric: Don't worry about it. I know you're worried about accidents happening with her, but trust me; she's going to love it. And when she's not using it, we might be able to use it, you know? When we're not in our sumptuous master suite with -- what is this? -- "Wood, rock, and glass accents overlook six acres," and it's got a private hot tub, not to mention a shower for two.

Alexis: Hmm.

Ric: Hmm.

Alexis: Sounds awfully nice.

Ric: Nice?

Alexis: How are we going to afford that?

Ric: I was a lawyer before I decided to work for the D.A.'s office, you know?

Alexis: Uh-huh.

Ric: I got a couple of bucks.

Alexis: Uh-huh.

Ric: Uh-huh.

Alexis: You know, let's put this down for a minute, because I want to ask you if you talked to Sonny yet about not taking Kristina out of the country.

Ric: Look, I was on my way to his place right now. Don't worry, ok? I have a plan.

Emily: Connor, it's me.

Connor: Hey, any news?

Emily: Yeah. I heard from Luke. He and Skye are following the money trail, as he puts it. So he's convinced that Helena isn't far from here, maybe even in Port Charles. How are you doing here?

Connor: How am I doing? I'm bored out of my mind. You see these hands? They're for holding guns and tools, not fancy glasses.

Emily: Ok, well, I guess that -- there you go -- fancy glasses are going to be part of your repertoire for a while.

Connor: No, you just love those $3 words, don't you? "Repertoire." But can't you say, like, "act" or something?

Emily: Yeah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound like I was talking down to you.

Connor: I'm just teasing you. I'm just teasing you. Mary used to tease me like that all the time.

Emily: Well, my point is that you're going to have to be really convincing if Helena’s going to believe that Nikolas is free and you've taken his place in prison.

Connor: No. Ain't that what we're working on?

Emily: We're going to have to work harder. You and I are going to have to be comfortable doing everything that Nikolas and I did together.

Connor: Everything?

Brook Lynn: Mr. Alcazar, I know what it's like to grow up without a father. All right, you think that it's you or that it's something that you've done or that there's something in you that's made it so that he can't care about you.

Lois: Brookie --

Brook Lynn: Ma, I'm not trying to point fingers or to make you feel guilty, ok? All I'm trying to do is to help Mr. Alcazar understand what his son's going through.

Lorenzo: I didn't make a choice to stay away from Diego. I didn't know he existed.

Brook Lynn: I know, I know, but you know now. So what's wrong with now?

Lorenzo: It's a little late to take him to the zoo and fill him with popcorn and ice cream and promises. On top of which, you're mistaking me for someone you think has a clue about being a parent.

Lois: That's where you're wrong. You were an unbelievable parent to Sage. You loved her with all your heart. So why can't you just give Diego the same chance you gave your niece?

Lorenzo: Well, in the end, Sage didn't get what she needed for one simple reason. I don't have it to give.

Brook Lynn: You have plenty to give. I mean, we saw it, you know, the night that you helped Bridget deliver her baby. So you can go on saying that you don't have anything to offer, and believe that that's true but, God, even the littlest thing that you could give to Diego is more than he's ever had.

Courtney: Ok, I get that you hate me and you think that your contempt is what I've earned. Maybe you're right. And look, I'm not going to insult you with a bunch of excuses, but I would like to explain why I did what I did if you will let me.

Diego: All right. Fine, go ahead. It's not going to change anything, but you can give it a shot.

Courtney: Fair enough. I didn't tell you about Lorenzo Alcazar because I was trying to protect you from his way of life. Ok, Diego, I have been there, all right? But I took my blinders off a long time ago. You were enthralled. I mean, you thought being a gangster was romantic. I mean, you were fighting to get into any organization that would take you. So I thought if you knew Alcazar was your father you would consider his business your birthright and then you would never get out.

Diego: Yeah? Well, that was my decision to make, not yours.

Courtney: You don't know Alcazar like I do. Ok, you don't know the hurt that he causes or the damage he inflicts, and I'm not just talking physical, though there is that, too.

Diego: Ok, ok, but you don't have to worry anymore, ok? My father made it clear that he doesn't care if I'm around or not. And I definitely don't want to be, ok?

Courtney: Diego, please, just think about this.

Diego: All right, ok. I have one question for you, and I need you to be honest. You think you can handle that? Is that possible?

Courtney: Of course.

Diego: If you had to do it all over again, you just got the D.N.A. results proving that Alcazar's my father, how would you handle it?

Courtney: The exact same way.

Diego: God, you are unbelievable! And you don't learn, do you? I could have shot my own father because you lied to me. My mother made me believe she was my sister, and she almost got killed because of her lies. I'll tell you one thing, if I learned anything of this; it's that lies destroy, Courtney.

Courtney: Yeah, so does running away. Why don't you go ask your mother about that?

Diego: No! I'm through counting on other people. From now on, I'll do this in my way.

Sam: I don't understand. You were more than willing to read travel guides to my baby. I mean, you even bought her that world night-light thing.

Jason: Yeah. It's just hard to explain.

Sam: Try. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out Jason-speak.

Jason: We just -- we need to be patient for a year, and I just don't think it's a good idea to get a baby attached to a routine she might be taken out of.

Sam: Really? So we should basically deprive Hope while we walk on pins and needles for the next 12 months? I don't buy it, Jason. I think you're afraid for yourself, because I think you are becoming just as attached to her as I am, and losing her would obviously devastate you. And if this is going to be a problem, I really think that now is probably a good time to say so.

Sonny: Where did you get this?

Jordan: Internet. I just thought I'd refresh your memory just in case.

Sonny: Why is it so important for you whether I buy this house or not?

Jordan: Actually, I'm not sure.

Sonny: Oh.

Jordan: I mean, it's the way it came to you at Christmastime --

Sonny: Right.

Jordan: You know, after Michael wrote the letter to Santa Claus wishing for a big backyard. And it's almost exactly what you described was yours and Carly’s dream house.

Sonny: Yeah, but that was a long time ago.

Jordan: Well, what difference does it make? I mean, you were holding a dream come true in your hand. I don't think you should be so quick to blow it off. Dreams don't come true every day, and when they do, it's unsporting to argue with the timing. You know, maybe this is supposed to be the house you have without Carly.

Sonny: Ok. Let me just stop you, ok? Like I told you before, right, I like it here. It suits me. I get to control what happens. All right?

Jordan: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: And that's pretty much the last I want to discuss about this, all right?

Jordan: Ok.

Sonny: All right.

Jordan: Well, you can't say I didn't try. Ok, well, I have an appointment, and if I don't see you, have a great time on your vacation with your kids.

Sonny: All right.

[Door opens and closes]

[Knock on door]

Ric: Hey.

Sonny: What now?

Ric: We need to talk about our daughter.

Lois: Honey, I need to apologize to you.

Brook Lynn: Why?

Lois: For taking you away from your father. I thought I was making the best choice in the world for my daughter, saving you from the unique and particular hell that is growing up Quartermaine. You know, well, good intentions, bad follow-through. I should have done a better job of making sure that Ned was a constant in your life.

Brook Lynn: Look, ma, we both know Dad's not blameless, ok? I mean, he seriously could have tried harder.

Lois: No, honey, the truth is I made it very difficult for him. I kept you on the road; I made you hard to find. I actually thought in my crazy head that being swept up in the glamour and excitement of the music business would replace the absence of your father. So, next time you want to get mad at Ned, in all fairness, I think you should redirect the anger at me, where it belongs, ok?

Brook Lynn: Ma, please, look, I don't want to be mad at anyone anymore.

Lois: That would make you a very wise and generous person.

Brook Lynn: Listen, I know that you really like Lorenzo and that the only reason why you broke up with him was because of me, which is seriously unfair. So I think that if you want to date him, you really should.

Lois: Do you mean that, or is this your way of saying that you want to see Diego?

Brook Lynn: Look, all I'm saying is that Diego and Mr. Alcazar are father and son, so it's going to be hard for us to not see either of them, but I think that we should definitely kind of come to some form of tolerance or -- at least something like it, so --

Lois: I would certainly go for that.

Brook Lynn: Good.

Lois: Good. Look at us. We're actually talking, we're having a conversation.

Brook Lynn: I know. It's a start, huh?

Lois: Ok, listen, don't you dare hold against me what I'm about to say to you for some future fight.

Brook Lynn: No, you know I'm going to now. Ok.

Lois: But you are turning into the most beautiful, smart, incredible young woman. And I am so proud to be your mom.

Brook Lynn: I'm sorry. What?

Lois: You heard me.

Diego: Brook?

Brook Lynn: Hey. Where have you been?

Diego: Working on getting out of here. Look, it's all set, except I need some cash for a bus ticket.

Brook Lynn: Oh. So is that the only reason why you found me?

Lorenzo: I want to see my son.

Courtney: Diego's gone.

Lorenzo: Gone where?

Courtney: He chose not to tell me. Away from Port Charles is all I could get out of him.

Lorenzo: And you just let him go?

Courtney: I couldn't stop him. Come on, Diego’s trust with me is broken. He blames me for everything bad that's happened.

Lorenzo: He should. You lied to him. You tried to keep the truth from me and then for some reason you decided to play God with everybody's lives. And to top it all off, you just let him walk right out into the ether? What the hell kind of a foster parent you turned out to be. You being in charge of a foundation for troubled youth, that is a travesty. I'm going to have you shut down.

Jax: That's not going to happen. I think you've outstayed your welcome, Mr. Alcazar.

Ric: Obviously there's been some, let's just say, anxiety about you wanting to take Kristina to Puerto Rico.

Sonny: Completely uncalled for. I just want to take my daughter on a, you know, on vacation so she can get to know her brothers --

Ric: I know.

Sonny: On a guarded private island with a full-time nanny, whatever she needs. I don't see any problem except for you and Alexis.

Ric: Ok, look, look, look, if you insist on taking her on vacation, it's probably going to happen. I'm just asking you not to.

Sonny: Oh, this is going to be good.

Ric: Oh, come on, Sonny --

Sonny: No, what?

Ric: Look, you won already, ok? There's nothing more to prove here. You want to do what's best for Kristina, why don't you let her adjust to her other new family, you know, the one that she's going to be living with every day.

Sonny: Oh, in other words, you, right?

Ric: Ok, like it or not, I am going to be your daughter's stepfather, and the three of us need to develop some kind of a rhythm as a family. All right, vacations can happen at any time, Sonny. But day-to-day living starts right now. Seeing as how I'm the one who's going to be tucking her in at night and the one who's going to be making breakfast for her and making decisions about her television viewing, I think that relationship should be a priority.

Sonny: Ric, Ric, Ric! Ok, listen. I'm Kristina’s father. All right? You are her mother's husband. There's a big difference.

Ric: Ok. Be that as it may, that little girl is still going to know and love me as much as she will you.

Carly: Sorry for barging in. It's an old habit. I used to do it with Jason all the time. I guess I'll have to break it. I guess things change, right? Well, like this little bundle of joy. Oh, my goodness. Can I hold her?

Sam: Yeah.

Carly: Hi. Hi. Aren't you the sweetest little thing?

Sam: Her name is Hope.

Carly: Hi. Hi, Hope. Do you know how lucky you are? Do you know?

Sam: I'm going to take her upstairs so you guys can talk, ok?

Jason: What's wrong?

Carly: This may be a hard concept for you to grasp, Jason, but I don't always come to you and seek you out just when I need something.

Jason: That must be a change I missed somehow.

Carly: Oh, you. You know, sometimes I just want to see how you're doing, you know, and from the tension in this room when I walked in, it seems like things might not be so great.

Jason: You know, it's Sam. I'm just worried about her. She just lost her baby, and now this baby happens.

Carly: Well, the adoption's legal, right? She's adopted.

Jason: Well, yeah, Sam is, but the adoption won't be final for one year. And the mother is some unstable kid who can change her mind any day, and rip that little girl out of Sam’s hands, and Sam’s already too attached, Carly.

Carly: Well, of course she is. I mean, she should be. Jason, that's what mothers do when they care for children, whether the child is their own or not. I don't know, Jason. I'm not sure that Sam has the problem. I think that you do.

Connor: I learned how to dance, how to talk, how to make long, boring toasts like Nikolas. I learned how to stand, how to walk. I even picked up some manners along the way. What else you want from me?

Emily: Ok. You and I need to be more familiar.

Connor: You mean we don't seem like two people who can't keep their hands off each other, because, you know, I can really work on that.

Emily: All right, stop right there.

Connor: All right, look, let me tell you something. I didn't need to be here, you know? You wanted me here, remember? I'm out on a limb for you. So if what all of you say about Helena is true, she's a piece of work. And she's going to take one look at me and realize that I'm not her grandson, and then I'm really going to be a dead ringer for him. You know what I mean? Now, I did my homework. It's time for you to do yours.

Emily: I'm not sure what that means.

Connor: Come on, I watched you and Nikolas, the way you looked at each other like there ain't nobody else in the room; like you can't keep your hands off each other. So what I'm saying is I'm agreeing with you. If we want Helena to buy this, then we got to look like we're really in love.

Diego: You've been great. More than that. I've never known anyone like you -- someone who's there, doesn't want something back.

Brook Lynn: Look, just tell me, what are you planning to do? Where are you going?

Diego: No, no, no, no place in particular, you know? That's the thing; it doesn't really matter, because things will stay the same no matter where I go. But what makes it different is who you're with, someone you can count on. For me, that person's you, Brook.

Brook Lynn: What are you trying to say?

Diego: I want you to come with me.

Ric: You are Kristina’s biological father. That is a fact of life we all have to deal with. It's also known that you don't like her mother very much.

Sonny: Well, that's not going to stop me from seeing my little girl.

Ric: That's not what I'm asking. Sonny, I'm just asking for a little time here. Kristina was sick for months, all right? She was confined to a hospital bed. She was away from her toys and from her room. I mean, she almost died. Kristina just needs to feel safe again, and I -- I have the opportunity to do that, and I want to, ok? Listen, I put a bid in on this really incredible house. It's called Greystone.

Sonny: Greystone?

Ric: Yeah.

Sonny: Hmm. Sounds fancy. Tell me about it.

Ric: Well, it's really amazing. It's in the Forest Heights area.

Sonny: Uh-huh.

Ric: It's secure, which I'm sure you'll like. It's secluded. It's got land and grassy areas. It's got gardens for Kristina -- oh, and it even has this tree house --

Sonny: Right.

Ric: Which I'm sure Alexis is not going to be any thrilled about that.

Sonny: You know what? You're right. You're right.

Ric: Excuse me?

Sonny: Yeah, look, we all want what's best for Kristina, and I just -- I'm just thinking maybe your way is it. So you go ahead and bond with Kristina. I'm going to take the boys to the island. Maybe, you know, next time Kristina can come.

Ric: Wow. That's amazing.

Sonny: You want me to reconsider?

Ric: No, no.

Sonny: Ok.

Ric: No, it's just very reasonable of you. Thanks.

Sonny: Yeah.  Jordan? Sonny. Listen, I changed my mind. I want to buy that house. I don't care what it costs.

Lorenzo: If Diego contacts you, tell him I want to see him.

Courtney: That'll be his decision, but I doubt he'll want --

Lorenzo: Just tell him.

Jax: What happened?

Courtney: Diego packed his things and left town. But who could blame him, right? You know, I mean, Alcazar was right about that much. I had no business thinking I could take care of --

Jax: Courtney, Courtney, hey, come on. Hey, hey, stop blaming yourself, ok? Diego wants to move on. I say let him.

Carly: You know, Jason, I know that the birth mother may be unpredictable, but so what? Really, do you want to deny yourself or that precious little girl upstairs joy and happiness in the meantime? Let's say you do get to have a lifetime with her. Do you really want to waste time, a whole year perhaps, distancing yourself from her?  I know that you've had a lot of loss lately. You lost your baby with Courtney, and Sam’s child, but Hope is here now. Don't waste each other. I don't want you to busy yourself anticipating what might never happen because you are going to miss what's happening right now. I'm going to go.

Jason: Ok.

Connor: When Nikolas walks into a room, you light up and he falls in love all over again. I see why, though. I mean, you're drop-dead beautiful, you're smart, you're loyal. I understand why Nikolas would walk through fire with you. So, see, my motivation is down cold. You're the one who's coming up short here.

Emily: Oh? How?

Connor: Well, when you look at me, I don't see love. I mean, you know, you may smile real nice and pretend to tolerate me, but what comes through is just your anger and your mistrust for me.

Emily: I don't believe that.

Connor: Emily, believe me, I'm the guy on the receiving end of this. You look at me like the guy who stole your bike in the third grade or something.

Emily: Ok. Well, then I guess you're right. I'll have to work on it.

Connor: Exactly. So let's practice, all right? I don't know, I'll walk away, all right? I'll turn back, and you greet me like I'm Nikolas. Ok?

Connor: Hey. No, no, see? Come on, you hesitated. You hesitate. Try again. This time you turn around.

Emily: Ok.

Connor: Emily, come on, you're forcing your smile. Come on --

Emily: This is ridiculous. I can't do this. You're not Nikolas.

Connor: Well, if you don't find a way to make me Nikolas, then you may never get the real thing again.

Diego: It'll be total freedom. We can do whatever we want whenever we want. We don't have to worry about anyone else but ourselves.

Brook Lynn: That sounds tempting.

Diego: So you'll come?

Brook Lynn: Diego, look, a few weeks ago I totally would have jumped at this opportunity. You know that.

Diego: But now?

Brook Lynn: I'm -- I'm rooted here. I mean, somehow when I wasn't looking, Port Charles became my home. I've got my family, I'm finishing school, I've got my singing career.

Diego: I guess this is where it ends.

Brook Lynn: Maybe for now, but it doesn't have to be permanent.

Diego: Oh, no. I'm not coming back to this town, Brook. It was nice knowing you. I'll find a way out of here.

Brook Lynn: Diego, wait. I mean, you'll at least need cash, so let me just go grab some.

Diego: No, you don't have to.

Brook Lynn: I want to. So I'll be back as soon as I can, ok?

Diego: Thank you.

Courtney: Maybe Alcazar's delivery was harsh, but you know what, Jax? He had some points. I did mess up with Diego. I mean, I couldn't control him. I lied to his face about the most important thing in his life. You know, and maybe I'm just not cut out to be anybody's mother.

Jax: Why are you letting what Alcazar said to you get under your skin? I mean, you know, you did your best with Diego from the moment he walked in the door.

Courtney: Yeah, but I didn't tell him the truth.

Jax: Well, you know, there's nothing you can do about that. You can't change it. What's done is done. Now Diego knows that Alcazar is his father, and what he does with that is his business.

Courtney: What he's doing with it is running away, and now he's out there somewhere --

Jax: Yes, by his own choice. You didn't kick him out and, for that matter, neither did Alcazar. Courtney, when are you going to stop letting your concern for others take constant priority over us? Or is that the point? I mean, you know, you put up these barriers so I can only get so close.

Courtney: Where is this coming from?

Jax: No, I'm just saying this -- you know, someone always needs you more than me. You know, if it's Sonny or Carly, Jason, Diego. We just -- we need to find a balance. We need to find a place where we fit. Because if we can't enjoy what we've found together, then I really don't see the point.

Carly: Ok, ok, ok.

Michael: Hello.

Sonny: Hey, hey. You ready for the trip?

Michael: You bet, Dad. Can we please go fishing this time?

Sonny: Anything you want.

Michael: Yes!

Sonny: Where's Morgan?

Carly: He's with Leticia. They had to do some last-minute errands.

Sonny: Oh.

Michael: Can I please make a sandwich? I'm starving.

Sonny: Yeah, you know where the kitchen is.

Michael: Yes!

Carly: Fishing, huh?

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: So, that sounds great. A day in the sun, blazing hot, putting nasty chunks of fish on a hook, luring other fishes to cannibalism.

Sonny: Well, you know --

Carly: Sounds like fun.

Sonny: Well, it's just for the men, you know.

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: You'd be on the shore under the umbrella with a floppy hat, right, reading a magazine between naps, right?

Carly: Yeah, sounds good, actually. That island is a little slice of heaven, isn't it?

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: The water, the warm nights, the scent of jasmine. Thinking about it now just makes my whole body relax.

Sonny: Then there's the -- the night life.

Carly: Yeah. Getting all dressed up to go gambling. Roulette --

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: Blackjack, slots.

Sonny: Closing it down, right? Dancing.

Carly: We had a lot of good times, didn't we?

Sonny: Yeah, the best.

Carly: I should actually say goodbye. But what is this? You're flying commercial? Since when? I didn't even think you knew how.

Sonny: Well, actually, my jet's being renovated.

Carly: Jordan Baines? You're taking that woman to our island?  No, just forget -- forget that I said that. You know what? It is not our island, it is your island. You take whoever it is you want there.

Sonny: Hey, you know what? Look, the reason I'm inviting Jordan is because she's gone the extra mile for me the last couple of months.

Carly: Yeah, your attorneys make it a habit of doing that, don't they?

Sonny: Well, if it wasn't for Jordan, I wouldn't have access to Kristina, so I thought, you know, a nice vacation would be a good way to thank her.

Carly: Yeah, and what is it that you get out of the deal?

Sonny: Nothing. I don't want to be alone. I want to, you know, experience the island, you know, with a friend, whatever. I mean, hey, look, you don't have a problem with that, do you?

Carly: No. Of course not, of course not. I mean, I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I had a problem with you having fun when that's exactly what I intend to do.

Sonny: Oh, you've made plans?

Carly: Well, yeah. I mean, I'm not going to have the boys. They're going to be with you. I have nothing tying me down, so, yeah, I'm going to just let loose and have a good time.

Sonny: With Dr. Steven?

Carly: Yeah, I might. I might spend a few evenings getting to know him better. You don't have a problem with that, do you?

Sonny: Um -- no, I don’t.

Carly: Good. Good. I'm going to just go say goodbye to Michael. Be sure you take a lot of pictures of Kristina leaning over the boat. I'm sure it'll give Alexis a coronary.

Sonny: Actually, Kristina’s not going.

Carly: What? The fabulous Jordan couldn't manage to work that one out, too?

Sonny: No, she did, but I'm going to take Kristina next time, you see. So, you know, I mean, I have access to Kristina, so that's all that counts.

Carly: Hmm. Well, you're full of surprises, aren't you? Have a good vacation.

Sonny: I will.

Ric: Unpack Kristina’s sunscreen. She's not going to be needing it.

Alexis: Oh! You did it! You pulled it off.

Ric: That's right; Kristina is not going to be going to Puerto Rico with Sonny, at least not this time.

Alexis: You're brilliant. You're brilliant!

Ric: Well, thank you for noticing.

Alexis: What'd you have to give up?

Ric: Nothing.

Alexis: That's impossible.

Ric: Well, no -- look, I was skeptical myself, but I appealed to him as a brother and as a father. He seemed to go for it.

Alexis: You are a great guy.

Ric: Aren't I?

Alexis: How am I ever going to thank you?

Ric: I can think of a couple of things.

Courtney: I'm almost ready to go. What -- what are you doing?

Jax: What I promised. I'm making you the best lunch in town.

Courtney: But you told me to change.

Jax: Oh, I'm sorry. I -- I said "something more comfortable."

Courtney: Ok. All right, let me see if I understand this. You're going to cook?

Jax: Yep, that's right. Why the skeptical look? You don't think I can?

Courtney: How do I say this tactfully? No.

Jax: You will be eating those words, young lady.

Courtney: Come on, Jax. I mean, I've spent a lot of time with you in the last year, and to my knowledge, besides barbecuing shrimp, you only know your way around a room service menu.

Jax: Ok, you know what? You need to relax.

Courtney: I just -- what?

Jax: Go sit over here. Come on, come on, come on. Leave yourself in my more-than-capable hands. Sit right there.

Courtney: Ok -- ah!

Jax: There we go. There.

Courtney: Thanks. Ok. So, what are we having?

Jax: You'll see.

Courtney: Ok, it's not going to be anything gross like moose burgers or lamb stew or anything, right?

Jax: Ok, from now on, you can't interrogate the chef. Now, where's the salt?

Courtney: It's by the sink.

Jax: I don't see it.

Courtney: Are you sure you don't want any help? Come on --

Jax: No! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Sit -- sit down. Now, I'm doing this, ok? You just need to sit down and relax.

Courtney: Ok.

Jax: Flour -- where's the --

Courtney: Oh, God. Ok, you know what, this is not --

Jax: Hey, what are you doing? What are you --?

Courtney: Cooking relaxes me. Really, come on. Here.

Jax: Yeah, but I really want to do this for you.

Courtney: And I really want to help.

Jax: Oh, really? I don't need your --

Courtney: Look, I -- oh!  That's really bad!

Jax: You think this is funny, huh?

Courtney: Oh, yes!

[Jax laughs]

Jax: That's really fantastic. This was really worth it, then, because I haven't seen you smile like that in a very long time.

Courtney: Oh, thanks. Really, that's great. No, get away from me, no. I'm already all --

Jax: Come here.

Courtney: No, get away!

Jax: Come here.

Courtney: Oh! No, no!

Jax: Hey!

Courtney: No, no!

Jax: Ok.

Jason: "By the early years of the Renaissance, Venice had emerged as a major center of trade." I know, you're not going to understand this stuff yet, but -- "emerged as a major center of trade and commerce, and most of the city's principal architecture, including several palaces and St. Mark's Cathedral. Now, St. Mark's stands at the center of the city and is accessible by canal or through Venice’s narrow cobblestone streets."

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Connor: Close your eyes.

Emily: This isn't working.

Connor: Will you just do this for me?

Alexis: He just bought it out from under you.

Jordan: I've got the keys in my hand.

[Jordan laughs]

Diego: Did you get the money?

Brook Lynn: Not exactly.

Sam: Did she go to sleep?

Jason: Out for a couple hours.
