Skye: Ooh! Emily, let me help you with that.

Emily: Oh, yeah. I should probably wear a warning label, huh -- "Dangerous to self and others."

Skye: You have been through hell. I can't believe it when Alice told me that you came back to work already.

Emily: Yeah, well, it helps to keep busy. I learned that this summer when Nikolas was missing.

Skye: Well, Nikolas will not be in prison for long, ok? Alexis isn't exactly my favorite person, but she is a brilliant attorney, and she's already working on his appeal.

Emily: You're right, you're right. I have to stay strong and keep believing that he's going to come home somehow.

Jason: Hey. Need some help?

Elizabeth: Hey! Yeah, that'd be great.

Jason: Here, I'll get it. Go ahead.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Jason: Yeah.

Elizabeth: This is perfect timing. I've been wanting you to meet my son, Cameron.

Jason: Hey, Cameron.

Elizabeth: Cameron! Say hi!

Jason: How you doing? What do you got there, an elephant?

[Cameron cries]

Elizabeth and Jason: Aw --

Jason: That's ok.

Elizabeth: He is warm. You want to hold him for a minute?

Jason: I'll try, I'll try.

Elizabeth: Why don't you hold him?

Jason: Sure. It's ok.

Elizabeth: You like Jason?

Jason: It's ok. You're fine.

Brook Lynn: Stop it! Hey, I said stop!

Courtney: Hey!

[Man groans]

Man: You're going to regret that.

Courtney: I doubt it.

Sonny: Is any of that for me?

Luke: Bobbie went to a lot of trouble and broke a couple of laws, officer, trying to convince me that your mother died in a fire. Now, maybe you can write that off to good intentions. I cannot.

Lucky: Dad, she was just trying to help you move on.

Luke: She lied to me!

Lucky: There's something you've never done.

Luke: Yeah, you're right; I am a liar -- and a hypocrite. And it's not ok with me that my sister fakes my wife's death in order for me to have closure, whatever the hell that is. That's psychobabble. I will never have closure when it comes to your mother. Never!

Lucky: Dad, we've been paralyzed since Mom has gone to the hospital, and Aunt Bobbie was just trying to help us move on.

Luke: Send her a thank-you note. Give her an "at a boy."

Lucky: Do you think Mom would want you to turn your back on your own sister?

Luke: Unfortunately, Lucky, we will never know what your mother would want.

Lucky: You know, sometimes I just think you need somebody to hate.

Luke: Get out.

Lucky: Fine. You know what? I'm going to go. But for all the allowances we make for you, you're the most judgmental person that I know. Keep it up, and Skye won't even be able to stand you anymore.

Elizabeth: So how was your holiday?

Jason: Ah, you know, Carly and the kids were at Sonny's, so I got to see a lot of them.

Elizabeth: Aw, that's nice. So, did -- did Sam come over?

Jason: No.

Elizabeth: Really? Oh, that's funny, because we were waiting out the storm here before Christmas Eve, and I overheard her tell Jax that she was on her way to talk to you. Sounded important.

 [Courtney screams]

Jax: Hey, hey, are you ok?

Courtney: Yeah. I'm fine.

Jax: What happened?

[Diego groans]

Brook Lynn: Courtney just saved our lives. I mean, that guy was totally pounding Diego.

Courtney: Are you all right?

Diego: Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine.

Jax: You look a little messed up there.

Diego: Yeah, well, I had it under control.

Courtney: Well, why were you fighting in the first place?

Brook Lynn: Look, Diego -- he was just asking that guy if he had -- um -- um --

Courtney: What? What is it, Diego?

Diego: Well, nothing. No, it was nothing. The guy was whistling at Brook. He was calling her names. I told him to back off, and he wouldn’t.

Jax: Is that true?

Brook Lynn: Yes. Look, the guy was being a total jerk, ok?

Courtney: Oh, come on, you guys. I know something else is going on here. What is it?

Diego: Ok, ok, ok, fine, don't believe me. You never do anyway.

Jax: Oh, come on. Courtney has given you the benefit of every doubt.

Courtney: Something has been bothering you since you got back from Mexico.

Diego: Yeah, I just miss my sister -- and?

Courtney: Oh, no, come on, Diego, it's more than that, and I know it.

Diego: It's --

Courtney: Hey, look, I want you to trust me, but I can't force it. So when you're ready, I hope that you will open up. Let's -- let's just go.

Jax: Ok.

Brook Lynn: Look, why didn't you just tell Courtney the truth?

Diego: Because it's my business. It's between me and my father.

[Carly screams]

Lorenzo: You're almost there. I think I see a head.

Carly: Oh, God!

[Knock on door]

Lorenzo: Yes?

Lois: So you are still breathing?

Lorenzo: Lois.

Lois: I came by to find out why you disappeared over Christmas.

Sonny: You know if I don't get it first thing in the morning, I'm cranky the rest of the day.

Carly: Oh. Yeah, well, there is some more coffee in the kitchen. But since when would you dare to drink a cup that I brewed?

Sonny: Well, it wouldn't be the first time I lived dangerously.

Carly: No, especially where I'm involved. Look, I do appreciate you taking me and the boys in.

Sonny: I see you're wearing the present that Michael got you.

Carly: Yeah, not exactly --

Sonny: It's nice.

Carly: Right -- flannel pajamas. Think he had an agenda?

Sonny: He probably wanted me to see you in it this morning.

Carly: Yeah. He doesn't understand that it's not going to change anything.

Sonny: Could've returned it.

Carly: Happen to like it.

Sonny: Really?

Carly: Yes.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: But how Michael was in a position to be able to purchase an imported silk sleep-set -- it's a little suspicious.

Sonny: Well, I kind of went with him because I kind of know where you shop, you know?

Carly: Oh, really? Did you help him pick it out?

Sonny: Well, possibly.

[Knock on door]

Sonny: What are you going to do?

[Sonny sighs]

Steven: Hello, Sonny. Is Carly here? I'm here to check her out.

Sonny: You have a visitor.

Steven: Hey, this is actually official. Carly is my patient.

Sonny: Oh.

Carly: Well, actually, Steven, I was going to come to the hospital later today.

Steven: I'll be in surgery.

Carly: I can see another doctor.

Steven: I'm more territorial than that.

Carly: Steven --

Steven: Well, you checked yourself out after emergency surgery to be home for Christmas with your kids. It was great, but I'm going to do a follow-up.

Sonny: Yeah, he's right. Why don't you save -- you know, save yourself a trip?

Carly: Ok, as long as you're here, why not?

Steven: So, do you feel as good as you look?

Carly: It only hurts when I breathe.

Steven: Well, you should probably keep doing that.

Carly: Don't make me laugh, ok?

Steven: I'm afraid that I can't help it. My bedside manner comes complete with witty banter.

Carly: Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to suffer through it, then.

Steven: Seriously, though, I assume you'll want to do your exam in private.

Carly: Yeah, let's -- let's do it upstairs. It's the second door on the left. Just give a minute, ok?

Steven: Yeah.

Sonny: Ahem.

Steven: It's nice.

Steven: You have to admit, I do good work.

Sonny: You think?

Steven: Yeah.

Sonny: Hmm.

Steven: Carly would have died if it weren't for me, most likely. And now from what I can tell, she's making a very astounding recovery.

Sonny: Carly's a survivor.

Steven: Yeah. Well, I gather she's had to be. Marriage to you sounds like a high-risk occupation. Oh, but the marriage is over, though, isn't it? It's over now.

Sonny: I'm just -- you know what, I'm just curious. Do you take this special kind of personal interest with all your patients or just --

Steven: No.

Sonny: Oh.

Steven: No. No, Carly’s special. And I intend to help her heal all her wounds.

Jason: How was your Christmas?

Elizabeth: Oh, just amazing. You know, obviously Cameron is too young to know what's going on, but just seeing him sitting up and looking at the lights on the Christmas tree and opening his presents -- it was like magic. I mean, Christmas is -- it's so different. You can't imagine what it's like with a baby. Oh, Jason, I'm -- I'm so sorry. I didn't mean that. I'm just --

Jason: Elizabeth, it's ok.

Elizabeth: It was very insensitive of me. I can't imagine how difficult Christmas must have been for you and Sam. I wish the two of you could have helped each other out.

Jason: Yeah, well, that's not -- that's not what she wants.

Elizabeth: Are you sure about that? Look, I'm not trying to be nosy, but I do care about you as a friend and, you know, I was there at the hospital the night that Sam’s baby died, and I watched your heart break, Jason. I could also see how much you care about Sam, and I'm pretty sure she feels the same way.

Jason: It's a lot more complicated than that.

Elizabeth: Jason, don't assume you know what Sam is feeling or what she wants. Ask her.

Jax: You know, Diego is getting more and more volatile.

Courtney: Well, all I can do is reassure him that he has a home with me. And his room's almost finished.

Jax: Yeah, explain to me again why you bothered to buy the place next door, knock through the wall, and add a bed and bath, and then just give it to Diego?

Courtney: Well, as you've repeatedly reminded me, Jax, Diego is an adult, and he needs his privacy, his own space. You know, I don't want to change my space right now. I love it. I love my bed next to the fireplace. I love my skylights. You know, the view from the windows. I just -- I don't want to change my loft. I just want a room for Diego.

Jax: You know, I got a feeling that Diego’s not going to be with you that much longer. Because something is eating at him --

Brook Lynn: Hey, Courtney?

Courtney: Yeah? What's up?

Brook Lynn: Oh, God, Diego’s going to hate me for telling you this.

Courtney: No, it's ok. Brook, look, we want to help him.

Brook Lynn: I know. You were right when you thought that Diego was hiding something from you. Look, Diego thinks that Lorenzo Alcazar is his father.

Lois: I left messages for you at your office and on your cell phone. I even stopped by to bring you Christmas cookies, but you weren't home.

Lorenzo: It's a busy time of year.

Lois: For everyone. But I managed to find time to wish you a happy holiday.

Lorenzo: I'm sorry I wasn't more available. I assume you heard what happened at Kelly’s.

Lois: Brook Lynn told me what happened at the diner -- that you helped deliver a baby. She said that you were amazing. And considering how determined she is not to like you, I think that's extremely high praise.

Lorenzo: I had some idea what to do because I helped Carly when she was in labor with Morgan. We were stranded. And I was pretty close to getting everything I wanted. Didn't work out that way.

Lois: So, what, you gave yourself some time to feel lonely at coincidentally what is traditionally the happiest time of the year?

Lorenzo: I went back to my family's home to put flowers on Sage's grave. It wasn't a very happy Christmas, but at least I didn't inflict my melancholy on you.

Lois: I wish you'd called me, Lorenzo. I wish you'd let me help.

Lorenzo: No. I've taken too much from you already.

Steven: Ok, take a deep breath. Yeah, and release.

Carly: Ahem. So? How's it look?

Steven: Well, I think the silk sheets are a little over the top, and, you know, the whole place is just a little tacky to my eyes.

Carly: Ok, I wasn't talking about the decor. How is my health?

Steven: I need to run one more test.

Carly: Ok.

Steven: Turn your head to the left and cough.

Carly: Oh, I told you, don't make me laugh.

Steven: It's the best medicine.

Carly: Yeah? I don't think so if you've had a collapsed lung and a broken rib.

Steven: Oh, ok, good point because you're the one who spent six years becoming a doctor, right?

Carly: I think maybe I do.

Steven: Carly, you're healing very well.

Carly: Good. Well, give yourself credit because you do good work.

Steven: In this case, the patient inspired me to new heights of creativity.

Carly: Well, given the results, I can't complain.

Steven: Hope I can continue to exceed your expectations. So you're living here now?

Carly: This is temporary. The boys and I -- we needed a place to stay for Christmas, and so I'm going to actually look for another place today. But I don't imagine there's going to be many vacancies because of the holidays.

Steven: You know, I wish there was -- I wish there was space in my apartment. You'd love it. It's an amazing building.

Carly: Oh. Oh, you want me to live in your building? Isn't that a little close?

Steven: Not for me.

Carly: Steven --

Steven: Don't warn me off again. Carly, I like you, and I know you like me. Might take me a little time, but I don't mind. I don't mind a challenge. In fact, I prefer one.

Skye: These just get here on their own?

Luke: I want that tree out of here.

Skye: Well, at least you didn't trash the whole thing this year. I guess that's progress.

Luke: Oh, listen; I'm doing what I can to survive this annual, festive torture. That gooey syrup of Christmas is finally over, and what do you get -- the forced frivolity of New Year’s Eve.

Skye: New Year’s is a time to hope for good things to come.

Luke: Not when you know better.

Skye: Well, that -- that's just jaded.

Luke: That's realistic, my dear. Most people are miserable all year long, and then finally, on New Year's Eve, they give themselves permission to get drunk enough to believe that next year will be better.

Skye: Well, sometimes it does get better. You know, you look back on where you've been, and you think about the milestones that led you to where you are now. Hmm. Some poor people don't have a choice at all. Time just looms in front of them, full of long, lonely hours.

Luke: You got anybody in particular in mind there?

Skye: Nikolas. I know what it's like to be locked up in Pentonville.

Luke: Oh, yes, Nikolas. Well, if he did kill Helena, he did the world a tremendous favor. His mistake was confessing to the crime. That never works. Especially since the dragon lady ain't even dead.

Sam: Hey. Can I get a refill, huh?

Jason: How was your Christmas?

Sam: Quiet. Good. I spent most of the evening on the phone with Danny. You?

Jason: You know, Sonny, Carly, and the kids. Sam, listen, I --

Sam: Anyway, I --

Jason: You want to come over later?

Sam: Your place?

Jason: Yeah. I have to work tonight but, you know, if you're not doing anything --

Sam: Yeah. Yeah.

Courtney: Diego's father is dead, Brook.

Brook Lynn: Well, yeah, based on what Maria said, right? But if you think about it, she's been very vague with the details. Plus, when we were stuck in Mexico, Dillon found this pendant at Maria’s house, right, and it matches the Alcazar family logo.

Jax: Well, that could be a coincidence.

Brook Lynn: Well, based on what Maria said and from what she seems to be hiding, Diego thinks that he and Alcazar are related.

Jax: Oh. That's because the kid seems desperate to get into the mob.

Courtney: The guy on the docks -- he works for Alcazar?

Brook Lynn: Yeah, and Diego started questioning him about Alcazar's family, and the guy told him to back off and to stay out of Alcazar's business, so --

Jax: Oh, wait a minute. So Diego instigated the fight? This is serious, Brook. You know, you could have been hurt!

Brook Lynn: Well, I know. What was I supposed to do, Jax? I couldn't just leave him there.

Courtney: No, of course not, of course not, Brook. But listen, Diego is living a very dangerous fantasy life right now. We just -- we don't want either one of you to get hurt.

Jax: Look, we'll have a word with him, ok? We'll talk to him. We'll see if we can get him to drop this, ok?

Brook Lynn: All right. Thank you, guys.

Courtney: Hey, look, we really appreciate you coming to us on this.

Brook Lynn: Yeah. I just hope Diego doesn't hate me for it.

Jax: Yeah. You want to ask Jason for help on this, right?

Courtney: Well, Jason does know how a kid like Diego thinks.

Jax: So do we. You know, he's desperate to get into the mob, so he's just made up this connection to Alcazar.

Courtney: What if it's true, Jax? I mean, really -- I mean, what if Diego really is Alcazar's son?

 [Steven laughs]

Sonny: Carly, how are you?

Steven: Well, after an extensive examination, I predict that Carly will be back to her scandalous ways in no time.

Carly: Oh, that's his professional opinion.

Steven: Professional.

Sonny: Thanks for your help. We won't be needing your services ever again. Here you go.

Steven: Oh, ok. Well, what I'll do is I'll bill Carly’s insurance company like any other patient.

[Knock on door]

Max: You needed to see me?

Sonny: Yeah, Max. Can you escort Steven to his car? It's a dangerous neighborhood.

Steven: Oh, ok, great. I look forward to the walk. But I'm not easily intimidated. See you soon, Carly.

Carly: Yeah, bye-bye.

Sonny: Ahem.

Steven: Hey, Max.

Carly: You know, Steven went out of his way to come here.

Sonny: Yeah. You know why?

Carly: Because a roof collapsed on me?

Sonny: Um -- he wants to sleep with you.

Carly: And so what if he's interested? Hmm? I mean, he's a good catch, right? He's sweet, he's smart, he's a -- he's a doctor. Mom would be thrilled.

Sonny: The point is he's supposed to thrill you, and he can't seem to manage that.

Carly: Are you sure?

Sonny: Well, you know, I've -- I've seen you thrilled, and Steven Webber doesn't do it for you.

Carly: And why would that be any of your business anyway?

Skye: If you have proof that Helena’s still alive, that means Nikolas can go free.

Luke: Who said anything about proof?

Skye: You're just assuming that she survived plummeting off a cliff into submerged rocks?

Luke: She's survived worse.

Skye: Well, if you do think she's still alive, do you have any idea where she might be hiding?

Luke: Hanging from the rafters in some broken-down castle in Transylvania? How would I know? Why should I care?

Skye: Because Emily’s my sister, and Nikolas happens to be your stepson.

Luke: So?

Skye: So, Laura would want you to help her son. And I'm asking you to help my sister. Emily and Nikolas just got married. They're in love. They should be starting their life together. Instead, Nikolas is rotting in Pentonville for a murder that you claim hasn't even happened.

Luke: Well, that's because he was stupid enough to confess.

Skye: Fine. If you're wallowing too much to help Nikolas, I think Emily should at least know what you suspect.

Luke: Oh, are you going to order a pizza? Because I could really use some chow.

Skye: Emily? Hi, it's Skye. Listen, I think you and Lucky need to come to the Haunted Star right away.

Luke: And bring a pizza. Please?

Bridget: Sam?

Sam: Bridget, hi. How are you?

Bridget: I need a big favor.

Courtney: Diego thinks that Alcazar is his father, all right, which means he is not going to give up until he finds out one way or the other.

Jax: Yeah, I agree.

Courtney: That means I need to get to the truth first.

Jax: Look, the last thing you need right now is to be meddling in Alcazar's private life.

Courtney: Jax, I'll be discreet, ok?

Jax: Courtney --

Courtney: If I find out that Diego is wrong, I can get him to back off.

Jax: Yeah, and what if -- what if Alcazar is Diego’s father? Are you going to tell him the truth?

Courtney: I guess I'm just hoping that the whole thing is a big mistake. I mean, come on, Jax. We both know that Alcazar is not qualified to be a parent.

Jax: Mm-hmm. And that's what your mother said about Mike, right? She kept you from your father for your own good.

Courtney: So, what, you think that I should tell Diego the truth?

Jax: Well, I just think that everyone has the right to know where they come from.

Brook Lynn: So, see anything interesting out there?

Diego: Yeah. Alcazar's got a new shipment coming in.

Brook Lynn: Hmm. That's cool.

Diego: I'm sorry if I seemed harsh before. I know I shouldn't have taken it out on you.

Brook Lynn: Look, maybe we're wrong about this whole thing, and, you know, you and Alcazar -- there's no connection at all.

Diego: You believed me before. What changed now?

Brook Lynn: Look, I'm just saying --

Diego: Who did you talk to?

Brook Lynn: Look, I talked to Courtney, ok? But, look, she practically had it all figured out anyway.

Diego: You went behind my back?

Brook Lynn: Look, I'm on your side, Diego, ok? I just hate seeing you torn apart at something that might not even be true.

Diego: Yes, but it's my life, so stay out of it!

Brook Lynn: Look, where are you going?

Diego: To ask Alcazar if he's my father and put an end to this!

Lorenzo: You've been on my side more times than I deserved. You helped me through the death of my niece, and reached out when I was in a very, very dark place. And no matter how many times I shut you out, you wouldn't give up.

Lois: I'm not known for backing down from a challenge.

Lorenzo: It's one of your best qualities. You cannot be dismissed. You make me want to go on with life, just keep pushing.

Lois: I wish I could say it was easy.

Lorenzo: Well, then you'd be lying -- one of the few things you do not do well.

Lois: Oh, you're a complicated man, Lorenzo. But as far as I'm concerned, the good definitely outweighs the bad.

Lorenzo: Thank you for believing that. Now I think it's time I made a contribution to your life -- or at least showed you a really good time. There's a charity masquerade ball at the Metro Court on New Year’s Eve. Would you like to go with me?

Lois: Yes! Yes. That is the best offer I've had in a while. Except that one.

Sonny: You know what? If Steven Webber floats your boat, then, you know, who am I to judge? All right?

Carly: Yeah, I mean, he saved my life. He saved our child's life.

Sonny: Right, right, right.

Carly: Why wouldn't I be interested?

Sonny: You tell me.

Carly: What do you mean?

Sonny: Well, I mean, why are you suddenly so hot, you know, over Steven Webber? Is it the way he dresses? He's always trying to impress you? You think he memorizes those lines before he says them?

Carly: Hmm.

[Sonny laughs]

Carly: I don't know. I mean, wow, what if he does? What if he spends hours and hours thinking of ways to please me? Why would I complain?

Sonny: Well, you know what they say -- there's a big difference between thought and action.

Carly: Oh, so you don't believe that Steven could please me?

Sonny: I think you're a lot like me. You want -- you want heat, danger, somebody that'll stand up to you.

Carly: Yeah, and I had that once. And I got burned.

Sonny: Doesn't mean you don't think about the flame.

[Knock on door]

Max: Ms. Baines is here.

Jordan: Thank you. I came by to discuss the divorce settlement, but if it's a bad time, I can just --

Carly: Oh, no. No, you do your thing. I was going to --

Sonny: Well --

Carly: Change anyway.

Sonny: But --

Carly: No, no.

Jordan: Why waste your money hammering out a divorce settlement if you're just going to get back together with Carly?

Carly: Hey. Hey! Oh!

[Carly chuckles]

Carly: You got me good, huh? I guess you've become an expert with that new car of yours.

Michael: Well, it's my favorite toy of the year.

Carly: I'm glad you had a good Christmas, sweetheart.

Michael: Your hands are cold.

Carly: Oh, I'm sorry.

Michael: The best part about Christmas was all of us being together at Dad’s. Can we move in -- you, me, and Morgan? Please?

Carly: Sweetheart, you know this was just temporary. Right? Your dad and I -- we're still getting divorced.

Michael: You always say that, but you always stay married.

Carly: Sweetheart, this time it's for real, ok? And it was great to be here, but it's going to take a little time for the cottage to be repaired, and then we need to find a new place to live in the meantime.

Michael: Can we still visit Dad's?

Carly: Of course you can. Anytime you want, honey. Come on.

Michael: It still won't be the same.

Carly: I know. I guess it won't be.

Sonny: Carly and the boys are here because, you know, her roof collapsed and --

Jordan: Thank you.

Sonny: They needed a place to stay.

Jordan: The witness is avoiding the question.

Sonny: All right, I admit, it was nice having everybody here together for the holidays. But Carly and I, you know -- we're over, and -- it was great. I mean, you know, there was no pressure. The kids were happy, and we didn't fight.

Jordan: Yeah, it's easy to fall back into old habits, forget the past.

Sonny: The truth is, Carly and I, you know -- we really can't make our marriage work.

Jordan: But you still have feelings for her?

Sonny: Well, she's -- you know, I mean, she's the mother of my children, you know? It's hard knowing that you're close to something that you can't have.

Jordan: So what are you going to do? Ask her to leave?

Sonny: I'm going to tough it up, you know, and as soon as she finds a new place, you know, her and the boys are going to move in.

Jordan: So I should continue with the divorce proceedings?

Sonny: Absolutely.

Jordan: Ok.

Carly: Hey, Michael, bring the car into your room. It is frightening your brother.

Sonny: Hey, hey, hey. What are you -- where are you going?

Carly: Hey. Oh, are the papers ready?

Jordan: Sonny and I have a lot to discuss.

Carly: Ok, do me a favor and make sure there's a lot of money in the housing allowance for the alimony.

Sonny: You're going to repair the cottage?

Carly: Oh, yeah. In fact, I found a place to stay, and I'm going to move in tomorrow.

Courtney: Thank you. See you.

Brook Lynn: Courtney --

Courtney: Hey.

Brook Lynn: Hey, I'm so glad you're still here.

Courtney: What happened?

Brook Lynn: Ok, so I went to try and convince Diego that maybe we were wrong about this whole thing, and maybe Alcazar isn't his father, right?

Courtney: Mm-hmm.

Brook Lynn: Well, so, the whole think backfired, and now he's even more determined to find out the truth than ever.

Courtney: Ok. Well, where is Diego now?

Brook Lynn: He's going to confront Alcazar right now.

Diego: Hey. We need to talk. And this time, you can't blow me off.

Lorenzo: I spoke to your sister.

Diego: But I know something important. But only you can tell me if it's true.

Courtney: Diego, don't do it.

Emily: Hey.

Skye: Oh, hey.

Emily: Skye. You said it was important.

Skye: Luke thinks Helena could still be alive.

Lucky: Oh, there's no way Helena could've survived that fall.

Luke: Helena could survive nuclear armageddon.

Emily: Ok, you said the same thing the day Helena fell, but I didn't realize that you were serious. Do you have any proof?

Luke: Well, let's look at the evidence -- or lack of. There was no trace found of a body smashing on the rocks. There was no body found. And the tide didn't take it away because the tide in that location is not strong enough to carry a body away. I know because I've tried. Helena's alive. And my guess is she's somewhere taking a milk bath, having a good laugh at you and Nikolas.

Emily: So if Helena’s alive, then Nikolas can go free. So where do we start looking? Do you think Helena went back to Greece?

Lucky: Wait, hold on, Emily.

Skye: Emily, this is just a gut feeling. Luke doesn't actually have proof that Helena survived.

Luke: There's no body. There's no body because she's alive. My guess is she's in the south of France or somewhere in a luxury spa having beauty treatments, and she will stay laying low until Nikolas has rotted a bit in prison -- maybe a few months, maybe a few years -- just to teach him a lesson that it's not good to shove her off a cliff. Then she'll resurface. He'll be exonerated when he's properly repentant.

Lucky: Dad, that's only a theory. I don't want you getting Emily’s hopes up.

Luke: Hey, look, no skin off my butt. I was just -- I mean, I didn't even want to get dragged into this. I'm sorry.

Skye: Hey, think about it. Luke's theory actually makes sense. As long as Nikolas stays in prison, then that means Helena is free to plan Emily’s "accidental" death.

Lucky: You think Emily’s still in danger?

Skye: Well, if Emily’s dead, that leaves Nikolas free to marry again. Isn't that what Helena wants?

Luke: Look, here's the equation -- Helena arranges a tragic accident in which Emily is killed. Then she resurfaces. Nikolas is exonerated, and she gets exactly what she wants -- her legacy -- a single Nikolas ready to marry her choice.

Emily: You have to admit, Lucky, it makes sense.

Luke: And what you have to do now is pull her out of hiding.

Courtney: Look, I have told you a dozen times, you are not working for Alcazar or Jason, not while you're living with me.

Diego: That's not why I'm here. Just relax.

Courtney: No, Diego, we are not going to talk about this here. We are going home.

Diego: No.

Courtney: Now!

Brook Lynn: Let's go.

Courtney: Now!

Diego: No, I'm staying --

Courtney: Ok? I will be there in a minute. Go.

Lorenzo: All right, this is getting interesting.

Courtney: I want you to stay away from Diego.

Lorenzo: He's the one approaching me. I assume you know why.

Courtney: What are you talking about?

Lorenzo: Diego knows something big, and he's desperate to tell me. You all are working overtime to cover it up.

Courtney: You're just paranoid.

Lorenzo: I'm losing my patience. So what's Diego’s big secret?

 [Knock on door]

[Baby fusses]

Sonny: Ok. I got to make some calls. We'll discuss the settlement later.

Jordan: Ok. I'll get the paperwork ready. Bye-bye.

Carly: Bye. Sonny, you should've let her finish. I'm going to need the money right away.

Sonny: You were listening at the top of the stairs, weren't you?

Carly: What?

Sonny: That's why you made up this whole story about moving out.

Carly: I -- Sonny, I never planned on being here for more than a couple --

Sonny: I know how you operate. And you heard that I said that our marriage is over, and then you decided to run. You haven't even looked for a place to live!

Carly: No, a place came to me, Sonny.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: Yeah, I'm going to move into Steven’s building.

Sonny: Right.

Carly: Well, what -- what is -- what is wrong with you? Why would that be a problem? I don't even --

Sonny: Because now you just said that -- whatever -- Steven --

[Knock on door]

Steven: Hey. Max said I could come in. I left my cell phone.

Sonny: I hear you and my wife are moving in together.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Emily: I know exactly how to do it.

Connor: Emily, I love you, but I can't ask you to go through life alone.

Lorenzo: One way or another, I'll figure it out.

Sonny: So you're going to have to deal with my input.

Jason: Whose baby is that?

Sam: Ours?
