Tracy: Whoops! Well, good morning.

Nikolas: I didn't invite you over for breakfast.

Tracy: No, and I really should have called.

Nikolas: What you got there? Oh, Helena send you to retrieve her little book of curses, did she? Plan on trying again?

Tracy: Whoa! I guess you're feeling better.

Nikolas: Helena came after Emily yesterday, by the way.

Emily: Yeah, she tried to kill me in front of a 2-year-old child -- your granddaughter, actually, though you'd never know for all the notice you take of Kristina.

Nikolas: Yeah, and she also tried to slit Alexis' throat.

Ric: Yeah, but she probably knows that already. So listen, you got two choices -- either you can tell us where Helena is or you can go to prison in her place.

Alexis: Yeah, I'm on my way to pick her up right now. Yeah, she's doing better. Oh, I will tell her Uncle Jax gives her a big hug. Listen, you don't have to call every day. Go get a tan. Everything's fine. Good. I love you, too. Bye-bye.

[Alexis gasps]

 [Knock on door]

Sam: Justus? Thank God -- I'm sorry. I'm just -- I'm a little jumpy. I'm waiting for word on Jason.

Courtney: Well, I don't -- I don't know any more about the case against Jason, but Jason is why Iím here.

[Carly screams]

Carly: Lorenzo, please, if you love me, you can do this and save my baby.

Lorenzo: Ok, when the baby's born -- if there's something wrong, Iíll take him to the hospital.

Carly: Without me.

Lorenzo: Ok. I promise.

Lana: That must have been some dream.

Lorenzo: Dreams fade. Scars donít.

Sonny: Hmm --

Carly: That's good, right?

Sonny: Yeah, perfect.

Carly: I'm a genius. Now all we need is for Jason to come home, and we'll be ready to celebrate Morganís first birthday.

Sonny: Jason -- he'll be released.

Carly: You know, we don't have to wait. I can ask John to exonerate him.

Lorenzo: I never intended to fall in love with Carly. It just happened. And for a while there, I thought we had a chance.

Lana: Until she went back to her husband.

Lorenzo: Well, he used emotional blackmail -- manipulating their children, playing on Carlyís need to be a good mother.

Lana: So you wait for your chance and then hire me to kill her father and frame her husband and her best friend. Why? To get them out of the way so you can have her for yourself?

Lorenzo: My motives aren't your concern.

Lana: Remind me never to cross you.

Lorenzo: You already have. You botched the assignment.

Lana: Look on the bright side. Jason Morganís in jail, Durant doesn't suspect me, and I can still finish the job.

Lorenzo: Durant stays alive for now. That way he can testify against the men he thinks tried to kill him.

Steven: So, I can't withhold that latent print forever, John.

John: You can wait until Carly gives me a chance to do her a favor. And I'll let Morgan out of jail. You run the forensics report. That latent print will show that my instincts were absolutely correct, and Carly will owe me one very big favor.

Steven: It's another way in.

John: And one more opportunity to destroy Sonny Corinthos.

Bobbie: Hello. Oh, no junk food, especially this hour of the morning. You're as bad as Carly.

Steven: Oh, you're in trouble now, John.

John: Yeah. Thanks for dropping by.

Steven: Yeah. Sure. Bye.

Bobbie: Bye, sir. So, how are you feeling?

John: Only hurts when I see a pretty nurse.

Bobbie: Who'd have thought we would ever end up here?

John: Bobbie, I don't want to send any mixed messages here. I'm thrilled that I have a daughter, and I'm thankful to you for all the help you've given me in getting to know her. But whatever you and I once had -- that's gone.

Carly: Look, all John has to do is say that he remembers seeing Jason before the press conference and he wasn't holding a gun.

Sonny: Jason and I -- we're working on this. He's going to get released soon, and there's no reason to ask Durant to lie.

Carly: Well, it wouldn't be a lie because Jason didn't have a gun before it.

Sonny: I appreciate, you know, you wanting to help Jason, but I don't want you or anybody else owing Durant a favor.

Carly: You think he's going to manipulate me?

Sonny: Yes.

Carly: Maybe he would have, Sonny, maybe before the shooting.  But he almost died, and I just -- I want to believe that -- that it changed something for me and my father. Also, by asking, you know, it would be giving him a chance to prove himself.

Sonny: Do what you need to do.

Carly: Thanks.

Courtney: When I saw Jason under arrest and I realized it was partly because of me, I fell right back into that same old pattern again. You know, not that Jason asked me to, because he would never do that. I just -- that's the way I am with him. Anyway, I don't know -- I had to find out who shot Durant, and Jason asked me to stay out of it. I didn't. Big surprise, right? I went after Carly, and I was telling her what to do. I put my whole life on hold. And then, you know, I went back to the police station, and I saw you two together. Jason was listening to the baby, and he looked happier than I have seen him in a long time. And I don't know. I just -- I realized that Jason has moved on. And I need to move on, too. So I am, as of now. I'm not going to be standing on the fringe anymore and waiting and reminding Jason of our life together. I'm going to back off. I just -- I wanted you to know. Anyway, ok, good luck with everything.

Sam: Courtney, Courtney, has it occurred to you that I might have something to say about this? I understand what you're trying to do and where you're coming from, but I don't think you've asked the important question -- am I romantically interested in Jason? And the answer is no.

Courtney: Hmm. Jason bought this for the baby, didn't he?

Sam: Yeah, he did. He thinks it's going to be educational.

Courtney: Yeah, little Michael knows an incredible amount about Africa because of Jason.

Sam: Courtney, that's why Iím here. I know how good Jason is going to be to my baby.

Courtney: Yeah. Yeah, your little girl is going to know all kinds of things, because Jason will tell her about all the places he's been. You know, she'll know right from the start that it's a huge world and she has a place in it. Look, maybe you don't see it, but there's something between you and Jason. You know, maybe you think it's just about the baby, but I know Jason, and it's clear what he wants.

Sam: You don't know what I want.

Courtney: Maybe it's just too soon for you to see it, but trust me on this. You're going to walk in here one night and you are going to see Jason rocking your baby to sleep, and you'll realize what's right in front of you.

Sonny: You ok?

Jason: Yeah. You find any evidence against Alcazar?

Sonny: You're going to get out of here soon. Carly's asking Durant to get you released.

Jason: Well, you know -- no. I'd rather stay in lockup, Sonny.

Sonny: No, I told her it's ok, Jason.

Jason: Durant is going to get the cops to cut me loose for one reason -- to work Carly.

Sonny: Well, you know what? If -- I need you out of here. If Durant can arrange that, then fine.

Jason: She's getting too close to this guy.

Sonny: No, we can't keep fighting Carly. We have to show her Durantís a threat.

Jason: Yeah? How are we going to show her?

Sonny: He'll make a mistake. He's pushing this too hard. He's telling lies. He will get caught.

John: You worked hard to put together a good life for yourself. I don't want to change that.

Bobbie: You don't want the world to know that you had a child with a teenage hooker.

John: You never minced words, not even back in Florida.

Bobbie: I used to dream that you would come back to me; that I would turn around one day and you'd be standing there. John, I haven't dreamed that for a very long time. You are set for the rest of the day.

John: You realize you gave me the most wonderful gift anyone ever could -- Carly.

Bobbie: And if you hurt her, you will answer to me.

Carly: Mama? Hey. Are you ok?

Bobbie: Yeah. Huh, don't be silly. I'm fine.

Carly: Hey.

John: Hey.

Carly: What did you say to my mother?

John: I just thanked her for bringing you into the world.

Carly: Really? Then why did she seem so upset?

John: I suppose we all wish things could be different than they are.

Carly: Yeah, that's true. John, I need to ask for your help.

John: I'm your father. Ask me anything.

Carly: I need you to get Jason released.

Tracy: Let me remind you that you have that book because of me. I risked my life to drag it out here to you.

Emily: Why do you want the book now?

Tracy: I was planning to destroy it.

Nikolas: Yeah, or use it as a bargaining chip when Helena comes after you.

Ric: Ok, look, the book is beside the point. Do you know where Helena is?

Tracy: No.

Ric: Has she been in contact with you?

Tracy: I called her. I wanted to tell her that her curse was broken and that Nikolas and Emily were back in town, and I wanted to convince her to drop it.

Nikolas: That's why she was at the hospital, where Lucky arrested her.

Tracy: Well, clearly, someone in an official position must have let her go. I believe that would be your department, D.A. Lansing. Not my fault that the PCPD can't keep homicidal maniacs off the street.

Ric: Did you and Helena pay Nurse Donna Harris to frame Emily for killing Mary Bishop?

Tracy: "Frame" is a strong word.

Emily: You wanted to send me to prison? Is that better, Tracy?

Tracy: Oh, please. I knew you'd never be convicted. I just wanted to stop your silly wedding. I had no idea who I was dealing with Helena started spouting curses and killed that Nurse Harris. At least I think she did.

Emily: Helena probably killed Mary, too.

Tracy: I quite agree.

Nikolas: Don't you think it's time to drop those charges against Emily?

Ric: Yeah, yeah, I'll make the call. Unfortunately, the charges against you are still pending.

Emily: What? Even after all this?

Ric: Look, he pulled a gun from the police commissioner and he shot the suspect. That is still a crime, even for a Cassadine.

Tracy: I hope we can put all this behind us.

Emily: Oh, after you helped Helena frame me for murder?

Nikolas: So what, didn't you think we'd find out?

Tracy: Obviously not. I thought that Helena was, A, discreet, and, B, effective. Color me wrong on both.

Emily: You told me to stand up and fight like a Quartermaine. I intend to. Consider yourself warned.

Ric: The charges against Emily are dropped.

Tracy: Hmm. And what aren't you telling us?

Ric: Well, it appears that Mrs. Cassadine's plane has taken off without a flight plan. She's somewhere over the Atlantic. So for now, at least, we all appear to be safe.

Ned: I didn't mean to startle you. I was just trying to catch the elevator.

Alexis: No, no, it's ok. I'm just a little edgy.

Ned: There you go. Well, I wish you'd called me about Kristina. I would have come back sooner.

Alexis: You know, I would have, but there really was nothing that you could do.

Ned: Well, you wouldn't have had to deal with it alone. I could have helped you, you know.

Alexis: Thank you. I wasn't alone, though. Ric was around. He was a big help.

Ned: And this seems like a good idea?

Alexis: I knew I shouldn't have said that.

Ned: Does Ric know that Kristina is his niece?

Alexis: No, he's just being nice to me for that. You know, thanks.

Ned: What -- what's going on?

Alexis: He doesn't know, he doesn't know, and he's not ever going to know.

Ned: Alexis? Alexis?

Alexis: I'm tired. Could we not talk about this now?

Ned: Look, there's got to be something else going on besides Kristina being ill. What's going on?

Alexis: That and the fact that Helena held me at knife point yesterday.

Ned: Where?

Alexis: Here.

Ned: And she's in jail now, right?

Alexis: No.

Ned: Ok, listen to me. You and Kristina are coming back to the house with me.

Alexis: No, no.

Ned: Yes, you are. You are safe there, ok?

Alexis: I'm not going to the Quartermaines'.

Ned: Alan and Monica are there in case she needs any medical attention.

Alexis: I don't need -- thank you. I want to go home. I need to be in my own home. Kristina needs to be in her own home.

Ned: Alexis, you'll be better off at the mansion.

Alexis: I also need to be in my own bed, and so does she. Helena's not going to be a risk. She's not going to risk coming at me this soon again.

John: You realize you're asking me to compromise everything I stand for.

Carly: But you know that Jason didn't shoot you.

John: The evidence indicates otherwise.

Carly: Did you see Jason holding the gun at the press conference?

John: Well, no, no, of course not.

Carly: Ok, well, then you say that. John, there is no way that Jason would shoot with me standing so close to you.

John: If it turns out that he is the shooter, Carly, I don't want to look like a fool.

Carly: Jason did not shoot you. And I'm asking you as my father, please, to just trust me on this. Is that possible?

John: All right, look, if I do help Jason -- and I'm not saying that I will -- I may want something in return.

Courtney: Ooh. I think we have too many hats, sweetie. There's your mom, your dad, Bobbie, me --

Michael: Me, Morgan, and Jason.

Courtney: Oh, sweetie, you know, I don't know if I'd count on Jason coming today.

Michael: He'll be here.

[Phone rings]

Courtney: Oh. Hey. Thanks for calling me back. Look, I think there's something wrong with Mr. Jacks' voicemail. He's not returning any of my messages. Are you sure it's working? Ok, well, then, will you just give him this message? Tell him that I'm sorry about last night and that I stayed in town for my nephew's first birthday. And just tell Jax that Iíll meet up with him as soon as I can. Thanks.

Justus: Gentlemen.

Jason: What do you got?

Justus: Durant just called. Says he saw you in the crowd, but you weren't holding a gun.

Jason: He's lying. He wasn't anywhere near me.

Justus: Yeah, well, maybe. The cops have dropped all charges. You're free to go. You know what, Jason? Call me optimistic, man, but I thought you'd be happy about this.

Carly: Thanks for helping Jason.

John: Now, about that favor in return --

Carly: Oh, you don't waste any time, do you?

John: Time -- that's exactly what I want from you. All this has made me realize how short life is and how much I need to savor it. Will you stay here with me for a while?

Carly: That's it? That's -- that's it? That's the favor?

John: That's it. Just spend a little time with your old man.

Carly: I canít. I mean, not today, not today. It's Morganís first birthday.

John: It's my grandson's first birthday? I -- I wish I could be there.

Carly: Yeah, so do I.

John: I missed all your birthdays.

Carly: You know what? Don't worry about it. You can buy me a really big, huge, gigantic present to make up for it.

John: Sounds expensive.

Carly: I think it will be. Yeah. Can I take a rain check on the favor? Yeah?

John: Yeah, oh, yeah, sure. Go, please.

Carly: Ok.

John: Will you wish Morgan a happy birthday for me? Tell him I wish I could be there.

Carly: Yeah, I will.

Alexis: We're home! Yay! You know what I want you to do? Will you do Mommy a favor? Will you take puppy -- will you go take the puppy and go get your jammies?

[Kristina talks]

Alexis: Go get your jammies and pick out your favorite. You're a good, good, good, good -- oh, you're such a big girl! Oh, I just need to put my feet up for, like, two seconds, just two seconds. Ok.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: Who is it?

Ric: It's Ric.

Alexis: Oh.

Alexis: Hey.

Ric: Hey. Why didn't you tell me you were leaving the hospital?

Alexis: You know, Ned brought us home.

Ric: Oh, well, there is a little thing called a cell phone.

Alexis: Oh, I'm tired.

Ric: I'm sorry, Iím sorry. I actually came with good news for a change.

Alexis: Good. You found Helena.

Ric: No, not yet, but I am going to charge her with the murders of Mary Bishop and Nurse Donna Harris when we do find her. Now, Tracy Quartermaine came forward, in her way. I dropped all of the charges against Emily.

Alexis: Good, good. She'll be very happy.

Ric: Yeah, well -- meantime, I think Helenaís out of the picture for at least a little while. Her jet is somewhere over the Atlantic.

Alexis: Yeah, she could be anywhere in the world by now.

Ric: I already contacted Interpol. Hey, listen, we're going to catch her.

[Alexis gasps]

Ric: Wow!

Alexis: You are such a big girl!

Ric: Look at that. She brings her own pajamas?

Alexis: You know what? This is an amazing child.

Ric: I bet you are glad to be home.

Alexis: She knows how to do these things, because she's a big girl. And you know what? I knew she'd pick out the purple ones --

Ric: Yeah.

Alexis: Because these are her favorite jammies.

Ric: Who is this right here, sweetheart? Who's this?

Alexis: Do you want put your jammies on?

Ric: Yeah?

Alexis: Do you want put your jammies on? You can go night-night?

Ric: Here, let me get the other arm for you.

Alexis: Ooh, yes. Can you -- oh, well, thank you. There you go. Here, sweetie.

Ric: What is --?

Alexis: What is that? Ooh, what are those bruises on her arm?

Ric: I think we should get her back to the hospital.

Alexis: Let's go.

Ric: Ok?

Alexis: You've got boo-boos.

Ric: Come on, sweetheart.

Alexis: Come on, sweetie. You know what?

Ric: I'm going to bring lamby, all right?

Alexis: We are going to go see the doctor one more time.

Ric: Here we go. We're going to go for a little bit of a ride.

Alexis: Ok?

Ric: Come on.

Alexis: It's ok, babe. And then we'll come back. We'll be right back, ok?

Nikolas: I don't think Tracy will be coming for a whi-- What's all this?

Emily: They're from the Garden of Aphrodite.

Nikolas: Oh, whoo, the magic flowers?

Emily: Mm-hmm. I slipped some of them into my pocket just to make sure they were real.

Nikolas: Oh. Well, now we know they are.

Emily: Mm-hmm. Well, Aphrodite broke Helenaís curse, and I just, you know, think we need to find a way to thank her.

Nikolas: Well, she was the goddess of love, right?

Emily: Hmm, and she still is.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Justus: All right. I need your signature right here, sir.

Jason: All right.

Justus: I'm going to roll some heads and get you out of here.

Jason: Thanks.

Justus: You know what, though? I don't understand why Durant is doing this.

Jason: He's doing Carly a favor.

Justus: That means he's going to want something in return.

Jason: Yeah, something Carly can't give him.

Lorenzo: You have no right to drag me in for questioning.

Officer: I'll tell the commissioner you're here.

Lorenzo: Tell him I consider this harassment.

Justus: Harassment? I'd say harassment is the least of your worries right now.

Lorenzo: You know what's going on?

Justus: John Durant just exonerated Jason Morgan. That makes you the new, improved number one suspect.

John: Hey.

Steven: Hey.

John: You have any problems setting things up?

Steven: No. I followed your orders to the letter, just like always.

John: That delivery has got to be made on time.

Steven: This is a new low, even for you.

John: I always get what I want, doc, one way or the other. You know that.

Steven: I know that. And you'll get what you want this time, probably. But if you keep going this way, you will lose your daughter in the process.

Carly: You ready to blow out the candles, Morgan? You ready?

Sonny: Hmm? You ready?

Carly: Michael, you want to help him?

Michael: Can we wait a few more minutes for Jason?

Sonny: He actually said to start without him.

Michael: But what if everyone's gone by the time he gets back?

Sonny: Well, Morgan knows how much Jason loves him, and that's not going to change just because Jasonís not here, right? Right?

Michael: Ok.

Sonny: Ok.

Bobbie: Ok, so, let's get this rolling.

Carly: Yeah? All right. Ready for the countdown?

Michael: Yep.

Carly and Michael: Five --

Carly: Oh, five --

All: Four, three, two, one -- happy birthday! Come on!

Carly: Oh!

Max: Hey, it's for Morgan!

All: Oh!

Michael: Is it from Jason?

Carly: Well, let's see who it's from.

[Sonny laughs]

Carly: It's from -- from John.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Justus: Turns out there was a latent print on the murder weapon. Steven Webber just filed the forensic report. Jason Morgan wasn't the only person to hold that gun.

Lorenzo: Has the print been identified?

Justus: Not so far. What's the matter? You didn't want John Durant to declare you Public Enemy Number One?

Lorenzo: You seem to be enjoying yourself.

Justus: Oh, you better believe it.

Lorenzo: And why is that?

Justus: Remember when Faith begged you to help her escape from Sonny, and you sent her to die instead by sailing her straight to him? Well, I remember it, too. Good luck. Steven Webberís forensic report turned up a latent print on the gun. It means you're completely exonerated. You're free to go.

Jason: Thank you.

Justus: Don't thank me yet. You haven't seen my bill.

Lorenzo: You seem to have friends in high places these days.

Jason: Whoever you hired was very sloppy.

Lorenzo: You know, I checked my calendar. It's Morganís first birthday, correct? Congratulate Sonny for me and remind him that without my help one year ago tonight both Morgan and his mother would probably be dead.

Carly: Oh, that's cute. Hey, Morgan, what do you think of that? Huh?

Bobbie: Aw, that's adorable.

Carly: Yeah, what is it? Something on here -- oh, it says to push a button.

John's voice: Happy first birthday, Morgan. Love, your Grandpa John.

Carly: Oh, well, that's -- that's nice, huh? That's nice.

Bobbie: Well, I hate to be the one to break up the party, but got to go.

Sonny: Oh, really?

Carly: Oh, thanks for coming. Thank you.

Bobbie: I'll see you. Bye, honey.

Michael: Bye.

Bobbie: I'll see you very soon, I hope.

Michael: Ok.

Carly: Say goodbye to grandma.

Bobbie: Happy birthday, Morgan! Thank you for inviting me.

Sonny: Yeah, you're welcome.

Carly: Are you ok?

Bobbie: Oh, yes, Iím fine.

Carly: Yeah?

Bobbie: You enjoy the rest of the party, ok? I'll call you.

Carly: All right. Ok. All right, who wants more cake?

Michael: I'm full.

Carly: You're full?

Courtney: Oh, I am going to let you guys relax with Morgan. I'll clean up.

Carly: Oh, no, you don't have to do that, really.

Courtney: No, Carly, Iím only here for a few more minutes, and I want to help.

Carly: Oh, ok. If the party's breaking up anyway, I thought maybe I could take Morgan over to see John. Yeah!

Sonny: Right now?

Carly: Well, yeah. If I wait any longer, it's going to be past his bedtime.

Sonny: All right. You know what? We'll go with you.

Carly: Ok.

Sonny: All right?

Carly: Yeah, thanks.

Sonny: Hey, be back soon. Slap me five, man. All right.

Carly: See you later.

Michael: See you later.

Sonny: Bye.

Courtney: Bye.

Carly: Thanks, Courtney.

Courtney: Yeah.

Carly: Yeah!

Courtney: So, you ok with this?

Michael: Yeah, it's perfect. You and me and cake. We can pretend it's a welcome-home party for Jason.

Courtney: Hmm. Look, sweetie, there's something you need to understand.

Michael: I know, I know. You and Jason don't love each other anymore. But you really do.

Courtney: No, it's just -- you know, Jason and I -- we couldn't make each other happy.

Michael: You can if you try.

Courtney: No, you know what? What would make Jason happy?

Michael: To marry you again?

Courtney: No. To be with Sam.

Emily: Nikolas?

Alexis: Here we go. Anthony's going to give you a nice ride, huh? Will you show Anthony how big and brave you are? Because I know you are. I love you, sweetheart. Thank you. You released her, I took her home, she was fine. She's got bruises all over her arms. What the hell's wrong with her?

Steven: I know that this is the last thing you're going to want to hear, but we do need to run more tests.

Alexis: If I hear "run more tests" one more time, I'm going to scream.

Ric: Look, getting frustrated is not going to help anything at this point. Let's just ride it out --

Alexis: I want someone to tell me what is wrong with my daughter, and then I want them to prescribe a treatment, and if they don't do it, Iím going to sue every doctor who ever glanced at her.

Ric: Just listen. Is there something that I can do to help you?

Alexis: Yeah. You're going to tell me not to worry?

Ric: No, no, I canít. But I can be here with you.

Emily: Nikolas? Are you out here? Nikolas?

Helena: Well, at last, my dear. We come to the end of our story.

Emily: Nikolas!

Helena: Oh, I'm afraid he won't hear you.

Emily: What did you do to him?

Helena: I would never hurt my darling grandson. All I've ever tried to do was protect him and encourage him to fulfill his destiny, but I have to save him from leeches like you and Aunt Alexis.

Emily: I love Nikolas.

Helena: Oh, love. See where it's gotten you? Oh, but you put up a good fight. Brava. No, but not that you ever stood a prayer.

[Emily screams]

Nikolas: Drop -- drop it. Drop it!

Helena: She will not have you, Nikolas! She has to die. Don't you understand? It's the only way to set you --

Nikolas: The knife -- drop it!

Helena: Oh -- oh --

Nikolas: You all right? You join my father in hell.

[Nikolas shoves Helena off the bluff]

[Helena screams]

Michael: Uncle Jason!

Jason: Oh, hey! What's going on?

Sam: Welcome home.

Michael: We got cake and everything. Do you want a hat?

Jason: Do I -- no, no, I don't want a hat. Why aren't you guys across the hall? What happened to Morganís birthday party?

Sam: Well, Carly took Morgan to see Durant, and Sonny went with them, so --

Michael: I didn't want to go because Durantís not my grandpa and he never will be.

Sam: So Courtney brought Michael over here, and now you are stuck with Michael, me, and all of the leftovers.

Michael: Do you want some ice cream?

Jason: Sure.

Sam: Oh, ice cream. Ok, I'll get it.

Jason: Yeah, get that ice cream.

Michael: Do you want a hat?

Jason: No, no, I don't want a hat.

Michael: I need to talk to you.

Jason: What? About what?

Michael: I changed my mind.

Jason: Ok. With what?

Michael: I'm ok if you fall in love with Sam.

John: One year old -- I can already see that Durant chin on your shoulder there.

Carly: Well, Morgan really liked his gift. Thank you.

Sonny: I'm going to go ahead and be in the lounge.

Carly: Ok.

John: Maybe I shouldn't have sent anything.

Carly: Well, how happy did you expect my husband to be about all of this?

John: You're such a realist. I admire that. He's very lucky to have you as a mom. You know that?

Carly: We're lucky to have each other. Aren't we, sweetie?

John: Carly, I love you. You know that. You got to know that. I intend to make up for all the years that we lost any way I can.

Carly: I hope so.

Sonny: What's wrong? Is it Kristina?

Steven: I have some news.

Alexis: What's wrong with her?

Steven: Kristina has a condition called rylodysplastic anemia. She's suffering bone-marrow failure and isn't manufacturing blood cells properly.

Alexis: How serious is it?

Steven: Without proper treatment, it's life threatening.

Alexis: Then treat her.

Steven: I've brought in a hematologist, and Kristina will need to stay in the hospital.

Alexis: What's the method of treatment?

Steven: Well, we're giving her a steroid to try and jump-start her red blood cell production. If that doesn't work, we'll start H.L.A.-typing for bone-marrow matches.

Alexis: She needs a bone-marrow transplant?

Steven: Yeah, and preferably from one of her parents.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Nikolas: There's no way she could have survived that. I killed my own grandmother.

Michael: You like her, right? How is that different from love?

Carly: Did you get Jason released so Sonny would owe you?

Alexis: You withheld information about my daughter's condition?
